9/17/2656- Baranuvrin League Declares Operation Trident Strike Over

"Today, the final actions of Operation Trident Strike came to an end, closing out the operation after several weeks of conflict against pirates both within and near Baranuvrin Space. The operation proved extremely effective in combating pirates in the area, leading to the destruction of hundreds of pirate ships and no less than a dozen full pirate bands. It also proved highly effective in aggravating the League's neighbors, causing several diplomatic incidents and even full on skirmishes with nearby powers. Several governments have openly condemned Operation Trident as a damaging overreach by the League which destabilized the region, but overall public opinion on the operation is positive."
