10/1/2656- Raid On Noudrur, Union Ships and Bases Destroyed

"Today, a squadron of two dozen warships belonging to Warlord Vorn entered the Furan'dree System's outer edges, raiding the system's fourth planet. A large squadron mustered out from Noudrur to deal with the attacking force striking at the fleet's and the system's primary source of He-3. However, once the squadrons were heavily engaged, a larger force jumped to Noudrur, striking at the remaining warships and, vitaly, all Union military facilities near or on the planet. Depots, anchorages, army bases, even several civilian spaceports were damaged or destroyed alongside a number of Union warships, causing billions of credits in damage before the squadron escaped. Overall, Vorn casualties were light, a few ships destroyed alongside many damaged, mostly from the distraction force. The Union, however, received crippling damage, not only to their warships, with over a dozen destroyed or mission killed, but to its military infrastructure in the system, making any operations based out of the system Infinitely harder."
