Ameri glared down at Clara as Iruma stood in front of them, reading a copy of First Love Memories to them. Closing the manga, Iruma walked over to the redhaired demoness and handed her the book, "Okay Ameri, that's the end of that issue," Ameri looked at Iruma with wide eyes as Iruma shook his head, "If you weren't glaring at Clara the entire time, you might have been able to enjoy our reading session,"

"Oh right...of course, but Iruma, if I may, it seems you managed to acquire another ring an-"

"The ring of jealous, the love ring and the hungry ring," Clara chimed in with a smile, "Iruma-kins got the jealous ring today and then you called for us to read to you and now we're here,"

Ameri sighed and shook her head, "Right, but I was talking to Iruma an-"

"Clara's right," Iruma walked over and stood next to Clara, "I received the Gluttonous Feeder Ring after our first task, a while later I got the Ring of Lust and just a little bit ago I got the Ring of Envy," Ameri narrowed her eyes slightly as Iruma reached up and patted the top of Clara's head, "Anyway, I'm sure Clara's parents, grandpa and Opera are waiting for us, so we should get home before they come out looking for us,"

"Right...of course," Ameri took a deep breath, "I will see you two tomorrow and I will appreciate it if we have a reading session on time and I better not have to call you to remind you," Clara pouted as Iruma nodded before taking Clara by the hand and the two walked out of the room, closing the door behind them.

Clara and Iruma sat in the room, staring down at the rings around Iruma's fingers. Iruma's eyes shifted to the ring resting around his right middle finger and narrowed his eyes, "Hey Ali," the one-eyed specter emerged from the ring and looked up in confusion, "Are you certain collecting all seven rings will increase my lifespan, or are we wasting our time looking for them?"

"It will help, Iru-boy, once all seven rings are reunited, the wearer will receive an increased lifespan,"

"Are you sure?" Clara questioned with a small frown painted across her lips, "What if you're wrong and my Iruma-kins dies an-"

"I can assure you, young Clara, that once Iru-boy gets the Ring of Wrath, he will have the same life expectancy as a demon but finding them might be a challenge. Granted yes, you did find the Ring of Lust and the Ring of Envy, but that's not to say the rest will be that simple, and even still, the Ring of Wrath is-"

"Protected by ancient guardians, we know, Ali, but you said once they see the other rings on me, they'll allow me to have it," the specter hummed and nodded as Clara frowned and Iruma inhaled slowly, "And if we rush finding the rest of the rings and it somehow gets out that I'm human...there's no telling what could happen," Clara leaned up against him and rested her head on his shoulder as Iruma wrapped an arm around her and rubbed her back, "But I have too many demons down here that I care about and that care about me to let that happen, and I don't want to leave Clara a widow like that,"

"So...will you take your time at finding the rest of the rings or are you going to dive in headfirst, Iru-boy?"

"Iruma-kins will-"

"I'll keep looking," Clara looked up with wide eyes as Iruma narrowed his eyes, "It might take a bit longer than planned, but we'll find the rest of the rings one way or another, and I won't get caught," Clara frowned as they watched the specter nod before fading back into the ring before Clara stood up and walked out of the room. Sighing, Iruma stood up and followed his mate out of the room, closing the door behind him.

The bonded couple sat on the front step of the mansion in silence before Iruma looked over to Clara and saw her bangs covering her eyes and her head down, "Clara, what's wr-"

"I don't want demons knowing you're human, Iruma-kins...what if Azz-Azz gets really mad he lost to a human and decides to hurt you? I don't want to lose my mate because Azz-Azz gets mad an-"

"Which is why I said I'll find a way to keep demons from learning that I'm human," Iruma wrapped an arm around her and rubbed her back as he slightly smiled, "It'll just take more time to finding the rest of them, but I think that would be a lot better than somehow others learning that I'm human," Clara sighed and nodded as she rested her on Iruma's shoulder.

Alyssa watched from the door and smiled at her oldest daughter and her mate, "Alyssa?" she looked back as her husband walked up behind her, "What are you doing?" walking up behind her, Jack looked over his wife's shoulder, "As much as I hate that they completed this bond of theirs, I can tell that the kid cares for Clara and would do anything to see her safe and happy,"

"They're searching for the other rings, but Clara's worried that that might draw attention to Iruma and reveal that he's human and other demons might devour him and leave her a widow," Alyssa looked back at the two and continued to smile, "But I believe that they'll find the rest of the rings without any trouble," Jack sighed and nodded as they continued to watch the two through the door.
