In the spies' penthouse in Malibu University, Sam, Clover, and Alex were all sleeping soundly after another mission from Jerry came to an end. A bad guy tried to flood the world with mozzarella or something. Sometimes, the girls wondered if being a WHOOP spy agent was worth it. While Clover and Alex slept soundly, Sam tossed and turned in her bed. Then she heard a woman's voice. "Sister...heed the call. Come to us."
Then suddenly, she snapped her eyes open and found herself in an unfamiliar room. It looked like the interior of a temple from ancient Greece. Red banners with gold female symbols on them hung on the walls. Upon closer inspection, Sam realized the symbol consisted of an ouroboros and a sword. And she was not alone. Dozens of females of all ages and races were there with her. And they looked just as confused as she was. "Sam?" Upon hearing that familiar voice, she turned around and gasped.
"Mom!" She ran up to her and hugged her. "What are you doing here?!"
"I...I don't know," Gabriel said.
"Gabby?" Gabriel turned and she and Sam gasped when they saw a woman who looked like Gabriel only older. "Mom!"
"Grandma!"
"What are you doing here," Gabriel asked. "You're supposed to be home!"
"I don't know."
"SISTERS!" A pillar of flame burst out and out stepped a woman with long dark hair, tan skin and wearing golden armor with a long dark blue cape with red lining.
Sam recognized her right away. "Ariel." The leader of the Sisterhood, a group of women who wanted to take over the Earth by eradicating all men and all women who were not their members. Maybe not in the literal sense. They still needed men to reproduce, after all. Sam, Alex and Clover were able to stop her before she could use those who were of Sisterhood blood (Sam included) to take over the world, but she escaped. What was she up to now?
Ariel reached behind her and pulled out a staff shaped like a moon with a red gem in it. In an instant, all the woman's irises suddenly turned red and they bowed before her. "Long live the Sisterhood," they chanted. Ariel took her seat in a throne decorated with serpents and began her speech.
"My dear sisters, I am so glad you all answered the call. To see that the Sisterhood has not been forgotten. You are probably wondering why I have called you now, but I will come to that later. Now, I must ask a question: what is the nature of this life of ours? You probably think you'll live boring lives selected for you. Become librarians, grocers, managers, bank tellers, teachers, firefighters, doctors, pilots, or police officers. No, sisters. A thousand times no. We are much more than that. We have potential that was taken from us for thousands of years.
"Sisters, we were once a clan of warriors called the Amazons. And no, despite what you were led to believe, we were not giant like how we were portrayed in mythology. Just bigger than normal humans. We once lived in Themiscyra, a nation far away from the rest of the world. It was peaceful, beautiful. We thrived there for centuries, until mankind brought its childish wars to our shores. Again and again. We always fought back, did what was necessary, killed anyone who crossed our paths, anyone who needlessly put us in the crossfire, took no prisoners.
"But as time went on, mankind's weapons became far more destructive, as with their conflicts. Eventually, we could no longer defend ourselves. Our home became lost to us, reduced to a pile of ashes. And we were forced to flee, forced into hiding, forced to live among those who had taken everything from us."
The women all booed and jeered. Ariel raised her hand for silence.
"We mated with the humans, and our longevity and our fighting spirit diminished with each generation until it became forgotten. But fear not, my sisters. We will take back what we lost: our way of life. And to do that, we need to take this entire world for ourselves. Right now, we all hide as ordinary women. As waitresses, teachers, bar tenders, secretaries, cashiers, flight attendants, doctors; but we are also police officers, soldiers, politicians, CEOs, people with status and power. And not just here, but in every country. The Sisterhood has already spread across the entire Earth. And once our hooks are into man's world deep enough, we will take it all for ourselves!
"One day, when the moment is right, we will strike! One single surprise attack is all it will take! Casualties will be kept at a minimum. Our war will end as quick as it began and there will be no one to stop us! The Sisterhood will rule and humans will serve us for an eternity. We will once again be free to roam as our true selves! Our way of life will be restored and better than ever! Everything built by mankind will be torn down to make way for mother nature! The land will be as beautiful as Themiscyra once was! And the humans will live as our slaves! Whether for manual labor or for reproductive purposes, the humans will serve us well! And if any of them refuses..." Ariel held up her sword and stabbed it into the ground, forming a deep crack. "...we'll remind them who's the dominant ones."
The women all cheered. Ariel raised her hand for silence.
"But the time has not come yet. I made the foolish mistake of awakening our warrior spirit too early, and because of that, not only were our enemies made aware of our presence, our plans were stagnated. But fear not, sisters. We have not forgotten our ways deep down inside." Ariel reached a hand for Sam, who took it. "Samantha, you would have made a great warrior if it weren't for your unworthy friends. But there is a way to redeem yourself. You are still an agent of WOOHP, yes?"
"Yes, sister."
"Good. When the time is right, you will allow the Sisterhood access to WOOHP itself. We will replace their agents with Sisterhood members, and our influence will spread even quicker. With such technology and weaponry in our hands, we will reawaken our warrior spirits and take over the world in one fell swoop! This world will belong to us! And I want you, Samantha, to lead the charge with me."
"I accept. And Alex and Clover will either make wonderful slaves or die."
Ariel turned to the rest of the women and said, "When you all wake up, you will forget what was spoken, but your hearts and spirits will not! Remember who we are! We are the Sisterhood!"
"Long live the Sisterhood! Long live the Sisterhood! Long live the Sisterhood!"
Sam awoke with a start. "That was a weird dream. I feel like I should remember it, but I can't. That's it. No more kale smoothies before bed." The sound of Alex and Clover snoring made her smile. "Where would I be without you girls," she said to herself before going back to sleep. The dream she had was a more pleasant one.
