Ulrich362: Well, originally this was where Jaden duels Alexis at the Obelisk Blue Girl's Dorm but things are going to be very different with the Professor in charge of Duel Academy.

Ulrich362: Well, Jaden's in Ra Yellow for one but we'll have to see what the changes are. Enjoy the chapter.

It had been a little over a week since Chazz and Cody's duel and while most students were getting used to the new way Duel Academy was being run and students for the most part stopped caring about rankings, a few elitist Obelisk Blues still resented the change, Dr. Crowler included. And during the time everyone had begun to notice some builders around the island constructing some dorms over near the Ra Yellow, and Slifer Red Dorm which probably meant that there seeing the builders constructing the female dorms for the other ranks.
At the moment, Dr. Crowler was teaching a class.
"Now, who can tell me the six types of spell cards?" he questioned before turning. "Ah, miss Alexis Rhodes."
"Duel Monster cards can be grouped into Normal Monster cards, Fusion Monster cards, Ritual Monster Cards, Effect Monster Cards, Trap Cards, and Spell Cards. Trap Cards can be divided into Normal Traps, Counter Traps, and Continuous Traps. Spell cards can be separated into Normal Spells, Continuous Spells, Equip Spells, Quick-Play Spells, Ritual Spells, and Field Spells." was Alexis explaining all the cards in each separate category
At her explanation Dr. Crowler approved clapping with a grin. "Perfect! Well done Alexis. Of course I wouldn't expect any less from one of my blue Obelisks."
"Anyone could answer that, though going above and beyond was admirable." Barrett mentioned getting Dr. Crowler's attention as he frowned recalling that Barrett was keeping an eye on his classes.
"Yes well... now can anyone tell me what a Field Spell is?" Dr. Crowler inquired looking around before noticing a Slifer sitting with a Ra Yellow. "Syrus Truesdale!"
"Uh..." Like he expected Syrus can't remember what it was. "A Field Spell is a... is the thing that effects the thing that is the..."
"Even Pre-Duelers know the answer to this Slifer Slacker!" one of the 'elite' Obelisks that still kept his rank made this his moment to make fun of him which some of the 'elites' to laugh at poor Syrus while Chazz smirked a bit amused.
A loud whistle was heard making everyone cover there ears from the ringing before looking over to see Barrett had the whistle with a glare at the Obelisk. "Come down here right now."
The Obelisk frowned walking down. "Do you want me to answer the question?"
"Your demoted in rank, effective immediately." Barrett answered simply.
"Excuse me?" he questioned.
"I have to disagree, this is a rather simple question." Dr. Crowler mentioned. "Not knowing the answer hardly shows any potential as a duelist."
"Not everyone is born an expert, and making fun of someone for it is insulting. Besides I warned everyone at the start of the school year that acts of bullying will be met with severe consequences." Barrett stated over towards them both. "This is not a place for you all to act all high, and mighty, this is to believe, and prove that your the best, you all are soldiers in a never-ending war to prove you have what it takes to call yourselves duelists. Ranks mean nothing, only to show how strong you are, and even the lowest ranks proved they have talent by being here right now." He then glared over at the Obelisk that made fun of Syrus. "If your too busy making fun of someone, that only proves that you don't deserve to carry the rank of Obelisks cause on the battlefield we respect all of our comrades, and without cooperation we will collapse. So effective right now, your demoted to Slifer Red, we have no need for someone who thinks they are the best by spewing tasteless insults, and makes fun of others where so many others including yourself don't know."
The Obelisk looked stunned as Jaden in his Ra Yellow stood up.
"I agree completely, I mean, well dueling should be about having fun not soldiers or anything like that but we all passed the entrance exam, I even beat you Dr. Crowler." Jaden grinned.
Dr. Crowler growled over from that reminder before Barrett written down a note pressing it in the former Obelisk's chest. "Take that to the changing rooms, and sit with your fellow Slifers when you return. I'd expect you to change your attitude, if you want to be an Obelisk again. Don't let me catch you doing something as disgraceful as this again cause from there your only embarrassing the dorm you were in formerly."
The Obelisk grumbled leaving as Syrus sighed.
"Thanks Jaden, you're a good friend." he admitted.
Jaden smiled over towards him before Dr. Crowler in a bad move pressed on to Syrus. "But are you able to answer the question?"
"Huh... oh well a field spell is... it's the card that you play when you want to..." Syrus stuttered awkwardly clearly unsure of the answer.
Everyone looks on with the 'elite' both Obelisk, and Slifer stared on with some smirks from this while some like Bastion, Alexis, Celina watched concerned while Yuri, and Sora looked indifferent. Jaden turned over assuring over towards Syrus. "Relax, Sy. You totally got this."
"I think not, sit down." Dr. Crowler told Syrus having some stress relieved from seeing Syrus looking like he thought all Slifers will. As Syrus sat down he looked around at the whole classroom. "Now can someone please give me the answer? Preferably someone not wearing red thank you." While technically an insult, it does have a sort of recommended vibe so Barrett can't exactly call him out on that.
"Oh, I blew it... I made us Slifers look bad." Syrus looked down ashamed from this while Dennis rubbed his back while he notices some of the 'elite' within there dorms snickering over from this.
From there Jaden decided to speak up. "You know teach, you shouldn't make fun of the Slifers." That made Dr. Crowler look at him confused before he shrugged, "I mean, I was gonna be a Slifer but I'd beat ya, so if your making fun of us, your only making fun of yourself."
Stunned from what he just said Dr. Crowler took a hankerchief, and bit down on it to prevent himself from screaming curses at Jaden from his bold choice of words. He isn't the only one stunned as the students were looking at Jaden stunned from him having the guts to say something like that in Dr. Crowler's face, and without flinching. Barrett on his end like somewhat impressed that Jaden had the guts to say such a thing like that without hesitation, and figured this be a fitting way to get back on him for that.
'That's it! I won't tolerate this slacker in my school any longer! I'll see to it he's expelled!' the good doctor however have some negative thoughts over with expulsion in mind.
"And, correct me if I'm wrong but if the student can't answer... doesn't that mean the teacher failed?" Sora added with a smirk as he somehow had a lollipop out of nowhere. "So, that means you're a bad teacher."
"E-Excuse me!? Who do you think you are!?" Dr. Crowler's hankerchief torn off from anger as he scream this over.
"What, it's true." Sora shrugged. "Maybe you should answer the question so we'll learn something."
Dr. Crowler's eyes widened as he decided then and there that he would expel every one of those ingrates... starting with Jaden Yuki.
"Class dismissed." Barrett decided to stop anyone incidents from happening before Dr. Crowler can do something that can be regretful. "But class pay attention to these next words."
Everyone turned to him at that.
"You all have the potential to be outstanding duelists, the fact that your all here right now is proof of that as many others have failed. If anyone mocks you for otherwise, don't let them prove there right, give a demonstration of your abilities, and prove to them you have what it takes. Here is the truth about bullies; there afraid of you, and bully you so you be the one who's afraid of them, so don't let them push you around whenever they feel like it. Resolve all conflict by dueling, and remember to stand fast, and strong." Barrett then nodded saying that's all he wanted to say.
Everyone nodded getting ready to leave at that though Barrett and Dr. Crowler noticed Yuri walk up to Celina with a smirk as she looked angry before sighing as they walked out together while Dr. Crowler was thinking of how to get Jaden expelled.
"Slifer Slacker, oooh!" Dr. Crowler was seething from what Jaden, and Sora said to him over which Barrett frowned but watched seeing Celina, and Yuri walked off.
Later everyone was in Professor Banner's class as Dr. Crowler was eavesdropping.
"So as some of you students know, my name is Professor Lyman Banner." Banner was rubbing Pharaoh's head as he smiled over towards them. I specialize in some of the lesser known tactics and strategies in the world of Duel Monsters, some that a few might even consider to be unnatural-Duel Alchemy for example..."
Jaden was yawning finding this to be boring as he's more interested in duels rather then studying over like this, and as Banner isn't as strict as Dr. Crowler pretty much decides to catch some Zs but Syrus leaned over to him. "Oh, by the way, thanks, Jaden."
"Sure. No prob. For what?"
"For sticking up for me." Syrus frowned over from the incident happening can't be that easy to forget.
Then noticing Banner turning over Jaden perked up to Syrus. "Huh, uh oh. I'm thinking I might have to do it again in a second."
"Syrus." Banner called over towards Syrus.
Gasping he stood up. "Yes Professor?"
Banner gave over a smile in his direction. "Do me a favor, and grab Pharaoh, would you?" Syrus blinked confused figured that Banner would lecture him for not paying attention. "Unless you are minoring as a scratch post." Suddenly Syrus feels something against his leg looking down seeing Pharaoh meowing rubbing himself against his leg.
"Oh, of course." Syrus nodded picking Pharaoh up and carrying him down to Professor Banner.
All of the students just laughed from this with some people staring. Jasmine giggled over before asking the Tyler Sisters. "May he's funny when he's making a fool of himself huh?"
"Yeah, he kind of is... and he's not that bad looking. In that weak little nerd kind of way." Grace admitted.
"Grace you think every weak guy is cute." Gloria sighed from that.
"Well they are... what do you think Celina?" Grace asked her.
"Huh, about what?" Celina asked.
"Is that guy cute?"
Celina looked before shrugging. "I guess?"
Meanwhile...
In Dr. Crowler's office he is writing some on his desk grumbling over. "How dare those two Slifer Slackers make a mockery of me in front of my class like that! I will handle the blue one in due time but now Jaden deserves the most of my worst. It'll be the last mistake he makes at this Academy!" Placing down the letter he takes a hand-held mirror, and applies lipstick onto himself before kissing the letter. "The big kiss-off!" He starts laughing at this from this plan to have Jaden expelled.
As he did a student walked past his office only to flinch hearing his maniacal laughter.
Sometime later Yuri, Sora, Dennis, and Jaden were in a Gym at the boys section as Jaden looked around not seeing Syrus among them. "Hmm? I wonder where Sy is."
"Maybe he has a note to skip?" Dennis suggested. "He didn't exactly scream athletic to me."
"Sora is not one for spots either but he's here." Yuri didn't exactly care deciding to do a wisecrack over towards Sora.
"Hey, I take offense." Sora playfully pouted as the four of them walked into the gym together.
Once it was empty Dr. Crowler slipped in with the letter before noticing Jaden's shoes as he quickly put it in the locker. "This should get that slacker expelled."
He walked out chuckling a bit just as Syrus ran in groaning over changing. "Stupid girls gym they need to make the sign bigger!"
Frowning he walked over only to blink. "Huh, Jaden's using my locker again?"
Shrugging he opened it only to notice a letter. Seeing the kiss mark on the letter Syrus widen his eyes, "Ah! But this isn't Jaden's!" He carefully look around before walking to a corner. "Someone wrote me a letter!? Wonder what it says..." He opened the letter reading it out loud.
"Since the moment I first saw you, I've been... In love with you!? Meet me tonight behind the girl's dorm. Endearingly... Alexis Rhodes!?"
Syrus's eyes widened as he fantasized about running in a field with Alexis. Soon he gains a lovey dovey expression over before standing up straight a fire in his eyes. "Alright! Alexis my girl, I will be there for you tonight!" He pocketed the letter, and ran out unaware Barrett had been listening in having been suspicious of what Crowler was up too.
Frowning he decided to stake out the girl's Obelisk Blue dorm and see what happens... and of course report it to the Professor.
Later that night...
Dennis entered the dorm room. "Okay Syrus, the outhouse is yours." Seeing Syrus isn't here he looked around, and checked over to his other roommate. "Chumley had he came here?"
"He left not long ago." Chumley answered.
"Where did he went?"
"He didn't say, but he ran out excited about something." Chumley mentioned shrugging.
Dennis turned off wondering where Syrus went off too as at the same time said boy was rowing to the girl's dorm all lovey dovey for Alexis. Dr. Crowler in a skintight black suit took a large pair of scissors, and snipped the lock off the gate, and sneaked in chuckling madly to himself.
"Alexis, I'm on my way." Syrus giggled as meanwhile in the dorm said girl was with Grace, Gloria, Celina, Jasmine, and Mindy in a hotspring.
"Do you all believe what those Ras said to Dr. Crowler?" Mindy asked over with a frown.
"Like SO disrepectful." Jasmine agreed over to them.
"I don't know, it was kind of admirable if you think about it." Alexis mentioned.
"What do you think?" Jasmine asked Gloria.
"After hearing Jaden called him a cheerleader or majorette I can't say what he can do to surprise me." Gloria shrugged over.
"Yeah, I agree." Grace nodded. "He's definitely making it fun... what do you think Celina?"
Said girl was just looking up in thought and didn't seem to hear the question.
"Celina. Celina." Alexis shook her shoulder.
"Huh? What?" she asked blinking at that. "What is it?"
"Were you listening to what we were talking about?" Mindy asked over frowning that Celina seems to be really distracted.
"What's on your mind girl?" Jasmine is wondering what is distracting Celina.
"I think I know." Grace teased. "A certain Ra Yellow?"
"Huh?" Celina blinked hearing that.
"You know that purple-haired boy." Grace teased causing Celina to blush and frown.
"I have no idea what you're talking about... I wasn't thinking about Yuri at all..." she said defensively before pausing. "Did you hear something?"
They listened as they hear some footsteps, and some loving singing.
Dr. Crowler was readying his plan of attack with his camera only to freeze who he dragged out.
"Alexis?" Syrus' grinning face walked into view of his vision.
Jumping out from this Dr. Crowler screamed out. "THAT'S NOT JADEN! IT'S THAT STAMMERING FIELD SPELL NITWIT!"
Seeing him Jasmine and Mindy cried out.
"It's a boy!"
Dr. Crowler knowing he has to escape covered his face. "I'm not a boy, I'm a man! I mean, oh forget me!" He ran jumping into the water to hide while the girls moved around Syrus.
"Um... Alexis?" Syrus asked nervously.
He cried out as they held him down.
"A love letter from Alexis? You've got to be kidding!"
Grace, Gloria, Celina, Jasmine, Mindy, and Alexis were in the lobby of the dorm with Syrus with his hands bond by a rope, and on his knees having explained why he's here, and Jasmine called out that it can't really be a love letter.
"Let me see." Alexis told him.
Syrus takes out the letter from his pocket over handing it to them which Jasmine snatches checking it over, and raised an eyebrow handing it to Alexis. Reading it she frowned. "I didn't write this, and whoever did misspelled my name."
"And... it says its for Jaden Yuki." Gloria pointed out.
"What, Jaden?" Syrus asked shocked over. "But..." Jasmine shows him the letter again to prove that Syrus looked depressed. "Oh man... even I can't get a fake letter? I really am pathetic..."
"I think he faked it." Mindy frowned. "To sneak in on us."
"I think he's telling the truth." Grace brought up for them.
"I am." Syrus agreed.
Alexis looked at him thoughtfully. "Maybe we can do something with this."
"Girls what's going on?"
They paled hearing Miss Fontaine's voice which Jasmine looked over. "Uh on! Quick on him!" She, and Mindy quickly moved sitting on Syrus to hide him away while Miss Fontaine walked over looking down. "What are you girls doing down there?"
"We were just having a quick dip in the hotspring." Gloria answered.
"Ugh, what's so heavy?" Syrus groaned muffled as he's sat on by Jasmine, and Mindy to hide him.
"Sorry, we gotten carried away as friends miss." Grace quickly said over towards Miss Fontaine.
Miss Fontaine having no reason to distrust them nodded over. "Well be more quiet, and get to bed. It's nearly midnight." She walked off entering her room.
"Right, we will." Alexis mentioned before sighing. "Alright, I have an idea."
"What is it Lex?" Mindy asked her curiously.
She just smiled.
Meanwhile in the Ra Yellow Dorm...
Jaden was settling in with Bastion before his PDA rang which he curiously pulled out, and checked it over while Bastion looked over confused.
"We have your Slifer friend, if you want him back come to the Obelisk Blue Girl's dorm alone right now." a distorted voice stated before the message ended.
"Huh someone has Syrus?" Jaden asked hearing that before turning over. "Sorry Bastion go ahead, and snooze without me, I'm gonna check this out!" Before Bastion can warn him of the rules, Jaden quickly ran out Deck in hand.
"Jaden!" Bastion cried before sighing. "He's going to get himself expelled at this rate."
While Jaden ran over he bumped into Yuri making them both groan over before Jaden sheepish to him. "Sorry bout that, just need to go."
"Go, go where?" Yuri inquired only for Jaden to run off. "What is he up to?"
Curious Yuri decided to follow Jaden since despite his personality he was another interesting duelist on the island. Jaden, and Yuri got on boats rowing off towards the Obelisk Blue Girls dorm while Dr. Crowler was in the lake sulking. "You try to expel one kid, and the entire world turns against you." Hearing something he turned seeing Jaden, and Yuri's boats. "...Your late." He dived down to avoid getting spotted as they are approaching the dorms.
"Where's Syrus?" Jaden questioned seeing Alexis.
"Right here." Alexis gestured where Syrus is held by Jasmine, and Mindy with the Tyler Sisters, and Celina nearby.
"Let him go Alexis." Jaden told her.
"Well now Jaden, you are facing a big problem with him. Him too." Alexis voiced over noticing Yuri. "Syrus here trespassed here in the Girl's Campus, and now that you two are here your trespassing as well. But if you don't want us to turn you three in, your gonna have to win your freedom Jaden."
"You're challenging me to a duel? Sure I'm always up for a game." Jaden grinned.
With that they all moved on some boats where Alexis, and Jaden are readied against each other on the lake ready to duel each other.
"I hope you know what your doing Jaden." Syrus said over to Jaden concerned.
"Don't worry Syrus, I'll be fine." Jaden reassured him.
"Since I challenged you you can go first Jaden." Alexis mentioned to him.
Unaware to everyone Barrett was also there and was planning on intervening before pausing seeing they were going to duel and so decided to just watch and wait.

Alexis revealed adding the two cards. "Now, I'll attack Burstinatrix with Idaten!"

Alexis cried out at that.

"When I take damage I can tribute a Cyber Angel Ritual monster in my hand or on my field in order to summon a Cyber Angel from my hand and treat it as a Ritual Summon." Alexis explained. "So I'll sacrifice Idaten in order to summon Cyber Angel Dakini!"

Jaden blinked as Dakini fired a blast destroying Rampart Blaster.
"Oh man, this is bad." Syrus panicked.
"Not to worry Syrus." Jaden grinned over where despite this change of events he's still gonna go on. "I'll summon this monster face-down!" He sets a monster before looking at Alexis. "Your up."

Dakini slashed down destroying Wroughtweiler as Jaden braced himself. (Jaden: 1500/Hand: 0) "Maybe but since you destroyed Wroughtweiler in battle, I can take an Elemental HERO and Polymerization back to my hand!" He shows the two cards over.
"I set one card and end my turn." Alexis finished.

Checking over Jaden nodded over calling over, "Okay I summon Burstinatrix again!" Burstinatrix popped up readying on the field.

"And I'll follow it up by activating Fusion Tag!" Jaden shows another spell in his hand.

"And to aid it is this!" Jaden shows Polymerization as Burstinatrix flew up with a golden armored blue helmet superhero fusing together.
"What are you up to?" Alexis asked. 'Not that it matters, thanks to my set card Dakini not only gets 2000 more points but your monster's abilities will be negated.'
"Vigilante of electricity! Form into your true state with the power of the flame HERO the mantle of the Dragon! Fusion Summon! Level 8, meet Elemental HERO Shining Flare Wingman!"
What lowered down was a white armored warrior that has green skin, and large wings raising up.

Everyone looked surprised seeing the monster.
"That monster is strong Jaden, but Dakini has more attack points." Alexis pointed out.
"Well this might change it! For every Elemental HERO in the graveyard, Wingman gains 300 points!" Jaden called over before calling. "Go Hero Rollcall!"
The four with Burstinatrix, Clayman, Rampart Blaster, and Sparkman appeared being absorbed.
Shining Flare Wingman: (ATK: 2500 + (300 * 4) = 3700)
"They have the same attack points now." Yuri noted with a smirk.
"And now Flare Wingman attack Dakini!" Flare Wingman charged forward readying it's sharp wings at Dakini.
"Sorry Jaden but I play my set card Magnificent Machine Angel!" Alexis called.

"During the end of the turn Protection of the Elements returns Wingman." Jaden said over as Shining Flare Wing reappeared with crossed arms.

"Cyber Prima destroys every spell card on the field when I summon her."
Alexis's Incarnated Machine Angel shattered at that.
"Dakini attack Shining Flare Wingman!"
Shining Flare Wingman charged in tackling each other in a locked struggle as Syrus called out. "But they will both be destroyed, and if it's ability's like the Flame Wingman's Alexis will nearly take 3000 points of damage!"
"That ability won't work if Jaden's monster is destroyed, and with no facedown cards Cyber Prima will finish him off." Gloria told him.
"Still your monster is going down with him!" Jaden stated over only for Dakini to slash down destroying Wingman but Dakini is left unharmed. "Huh?"
"It's the effect of Machine Angel Ritual, I can banish it from my graveyard to prevent Dakini from being destroyed." Alexis revealed. "Now, Cyber Prima end this duel!"
Prima raised up charging an attack over, and fired down striking Jaden who pushed back.

"Oh man... he lost." Syrus panicked.
"True, which means you three are about to be expelled." Mindy smirked.
"Yeah, you should pack your things and..." Jasmine started only for them to hear a familiar whistle.
They covered there ears from this before turning over seeing Barrett is nearby deciding to intervene.
"Professor Barrett?" Syrus panicked at this. "Is he gonna make us run 50 millimeter dashes now?" He had heard the kind of guy Barrett was, and is panicking that not only he's expelled but also gonna be taking a drill saergent routine as punishment along.
"Syrus Truesdale go back to your dorm, as for you Jaden Yuki and Yuri... you both are coming with me." Barrett told them before turning to the girls. "You should head to bed, and keep up the good work Alexis Rhodes."
Alexis blinked over confused. "Wait... none of us are in trouble? Sir, I invited Jaden to test him out, and even if I did win, I didn't had any intention of turning them in."
That caught everyone off guard but Barrett simply nodded. "Be that as it may they're still coming with me."
Alexis frowned over. "Can I at least bare some sort of punishment with them?"
"I never said they were being punished." That made her blink as he stated over. "I want to take them with me for a chat. You will see them when the next school day starts."
Alexis stared over before softly nodding turning to girls. "Come on time to head back."
'What's that idiot doing!? He caught them red-handed so he should report them!' Dr. Crowler in his spot was in shock that Barrett isn't gonna turn them in despite catching them while the girls left, and Syrus take a boat to row back while Jaden uses his to take him, and Yuri over to Barrett. 'Barrett expel those slackers now! They don't deserve to be here!'
"Why did you two come here?" Barrett asked as he turned and started walking, clearly intending them to follow him.
"Well... like you heard from Alexis sir, she brought me over here. Syrus was already here when I came over. Yuri just followed me along." Jaden admitted over towards him as they followed him. "I don't exactly know why Syrus was here in the first place."
Barrett nodded. "Well regardless, the two of you are going to have a little chat with the Professor."
