For those who remember 'The Book of Job', from the Old Testament in The Holy Bible, there is a part about the job, the Satan. I did do research on the origin story behind the Satan, as there are videos on YouTube that explain this, but this is also my take of how Lucifer became Satan and the Rebellion in Heaven in these first few chapters. So, hopefully everyone won't freak out too much over this, since we're getting into the Bible's origin story here, in these first few chapters.

And the Divine Council can also be found in the Bible, too.

With that said, let's continue the story. :)

The Heavens were the next creation God made.

As the Light and the Darkness, the Nothingness and the Everything, as well as the Void and the Infinity found themselves quarreling, the Void rushed back to the Nothingness, wanting a special hug from her. The Nothingness shivered in the Void's arms, leaving the Everything quaking with fury.

God shook His head. He had enough! "That's enough!" His voice resounded. "I will make the worlds anew. And you six shall fall into the distance, becoming nothing more than a name and a voice."

And so, it was done. The Light and Darkness fell into whispers, the Nothingness and the Everything became nothing more than shadows of their former selves, while the Void and the Infinity drifted off, with the Infinity clinging to the Void for one last time, before the Void drifted away into its own pit.

God sighed. That part was done. He quickly set to work, making sure that nothing else went array. His perfection would be plenty in the Heavens. He sought to create a new land, centralized as the seventh land and the centermost part of the Cosmos. The Infinity and the Everything surrounded this land. The Light and Darkness found their places amidst the Day and Night, longing for each other and meeting only until the sunrise and the sunset took over. The Nothingness longed for her sweet lovers, but could only go on alone in the Darkness for thousands of eons. The Void, on the other hand, took his place underground, in the prison chambers of the Underworld. He would not rest until all of creation was captured, for the Void was vexed with anger.

As for the Heavens, they became a beacon of hope. Perfection was key, and here it was where God would make His newest creation: the Angels, his treasured possession. And yet, he would always cherish them.

Each Angel had different characteristics, with their own hierarchy to follow. These Angels were loyal to God and they stood by him.

God created the Divine Council: it was a council where all of God's meetings would take place. For there were plenty who garnished God's words, while some took hold of other matters.

What did God's treasure most? The Word. His Word. His Word helped God create Life, but it would also be the salvation everyone needed, even when they did not see it.

God's final reward for the Heavens was building a city, as well as homes for everyone he created. These homes, businesses, buildings, and what else one could find in the Heavens were perfect.

And yet, something was missing. But what was that something? God could not pin it down. Hmm… he needed to speak with the Divine Council, and speak to them he would. At their ten-story building, with pristine glass windows, marble floors, and stone walls, God knew His Divine Council deserved this building.

But what would they discuss?

"This meeting is called to order," one of the Divine members stated, smacking a gavel to a wooden block. "Those who are loyal to God, please stand up." Everyone did, looking to God as He sat at His throne, pondering what to do next. The first Divine member spoke up, "Good, good. We may begin this meeting with our discussion on the Heavens. All is well here."

"Yes! Looking well indeed," a second Divine member spoke up, loving this. "No signs of imperfection. Nope, we shall not have another incident, like we did when God created the Darkness and the Light. Everything is as it should."

God shook his head, speaking up as well. "Do not blame me for this. Although, the blame must be intended." Everyone fell silent. The Divine Council members turned to Him. God added, "Did you not think everything would run its course? Did you not suppose this all happened for a reason? The Light and Darkness are kept stabilized, the Nothingness cannot cause trouble, but the Void is venomous. The Everything and the Infinity are right where they should be, for the moment. Should any of these creatures sets themselves loose upon this Heaven and the Lower Heavens, I have no doubt havoc will spew across the lands."

He shook his head, telling them, "Listen, we have other matters to discuss: the creation of Perfection. Well, I want to spice things up, add Imperfection to the list of things we need to achieve. I want to see my creatures, my beings, all of creation witness these events. We will see Perfection and Imperfection play out in the Lower Dimensions. The Lower Dimensions must be held accountable. They must play a part in this story, a play which will stretch for decades, even unto Infinity. Surely, you don't wish to rebuke this gesture? I am doing you a favor! Please, tell me if I'm wrong here. I will gladly make things better."

Voices were raised, out of anger and fury. But God was patient with them. He allowed the Divine Council's voices to be heard. And yet, he silenced them with a raised hand.

"Now, I understand this is hard, and it will be very difficult for you to understand, but this will work. Now, do we have an understanding?" God asked His council, leaving them confused.

"What if this plan fails? We could be dealing with a lot of failed experiments," one of the Divine Council members spoke up, not knowing what they were getting into.

God hushed up. He looked at his council, informing them, "There will be no doubt many failed experiments." He stood up, catering to them, "Prepare to make the first species. Then report to me when you're done. I'd like to see your creations up close, for these experiments are for the Lower Dimensions."

"Yes, my Lord," the Divine Council members stated, as the meeting finished and everyone was dismissed. God, and the Divine Council, parted ways, making their way out of the circular meeting room. This meeting room was chalked to the brim with deep red carpets and aisles of dark mahogany wooden benches, complete with their own tables, long and rectangular in front of the benches. Wooden stairways led out of the meeting room. God left this meeting room, entering the hallway, where God was intercepted by his most loyal and first Angel he ever created: Lucifer Morningstar.

Lucifer had pale skin, rugged features, jet black hair that flowed from his head down to his shoulders, and he was dressed in brown armor. The attire suited Lucifer, but he would have preferred another outfit, something snazzier.

The moment God met up with Lucifer, their bond was already strong. Lucifer was a powerful Archangel, but even his strength had limitations. For it was God who foresaw these limitations, pushing Lucifer to do better than he already did.

"What's the status? What do we need to know?" Lucifer asked, curious.

God smirked, knowingly. Lucifer chuckled, as they walked down the grey marble stone hallway, with its long, tall, rectangular stained-glass windows, etched and in many colors, perfect for each Archangel and Seraphim God created.

"Tell me, what's troubling you, Lord?" Lucifer asked God, curiously.

"It has come to my attention that perfection is not enough," God stated, leaving Lucifer mystified.

"I don't understand. We have everything we could ever ask for here!" Lucifer stated, refusing God's words. "The Heavens, they are at peace, and so is everyone. Please tell me you are not doing what you did with the Light and Darkness? Are you?"

God fell silent.

Lucifer huffed. He wanted more details!

"Well fine, if you won't let me hear the plan, then I'll figure it out myself!" Lucifer cried in fury. His angel wings glowed in the fading sunlight. He flew towards one of the stained-glass windows, representing him. The stained-glass window shattered, leaving Archangel Michael's stained-glass window shaking, but still standing.

Lucifer huffed. This was ridiculous!

"Where will you go? When you can't figure out my divine plan?" God asked Lucifer, curiously.

"I need more time to think. I… humph. Never mind. I'll do this myself!" Lucifer cackled, darting away from the building.

Archangel Michael appeared before God. They shook their heads, understanding the situation. "Lucifer has always been reckless, even after he was created. I wouldn't worry too much about him, Lord."

God looked at Michael, telling him, "I will keep an eye on Lucifer. Can you check on the Divine Council, to see if the first experiments are ready?"

Michael bowed, "It would be my pleasure." He darted off down, straight to the massive laboratory, where the Scientists were at work.

The Authors, the Scientists, the Engineers, and the Builders came when God created them. They, along with the Force, the energy field created by everyone and everything, were who God called to help him build everything He wanted created. Even the Light and the Darkness, the Nothingness and the Everything, as well as the Void and Infinity, were created by them with God's aide.

It was them who came before everything else, as did the other gods and goddesses who came as well to this new pocket in Space and Time, for it was Time who God started, shortly after he created the Heavens. For as long as Father Time kept watch over Space, there was no need to fear.

Shortly after God left the meeting room, He entered the laboratory with all its tiled floors, greyish white drywalls, counters and cupboards, as well as the silvery tables, fitted with so many glass vials and laboratory equipment. God looked in amazement at the newly crafted pods, where the Scientists' experiments alongside the Divine Council were kept safe.

God observed each experiment with great pride. And yet, he foresaw each new experiment fail.

"We can't get it right! I'm sorry, Lord," one of the Divine Council members stated, cautious over their next move.

"If we create the Spirits next, then I don't see how we can't go wrong," God asked, curiously.

The Divine Council member huffed. "It's too much time. And time is not on our side!"

God chuckled. "Time is always on our side. You'll see." He patted the Divine Council member on the back, declaring as He walked away from the laboratory, "Continue your experiments. We'll get there!"

The Divine Council member sighed. He lowered his head in shame. "At once, my Lord."

God chuckled as he re-entered the hallway. Another experiment failed, but God wasn't giving up! They'd find the cure, the right experiment. Just wait and see!

Lucifer sighed. He didn't mean to break his own stained-glass window, but there it lay on the ground, broken into several tiny pieces. This wasn't good! Not good! Just what was he to do?

"Would you like a job?" Archangel Raphael stated, heading to the infirmary.

Lucifer nodded. "Sure. What is it?"

Raphael shook his head. "You won't like it. It's from God."

Lucifer tilted his head to the side. "Tell me."

Raphael huffed. "You'll be taking on the job as the Satan. Do not let it get to your head. It's a tough job, but it will turn you into something you're not."

Lucifer huffed. Not only did he not like this, but he had a feeling he would become Satan.

"Fine. Give me that card," Lucifer said, taking the card from Raphael's grasp.

"You're to report to God immediately. He had something for you to do," Raphael said, darting off.

Lucifer looked at the card in shame. Whatever God wanted him for, Lucifer knew he'd reject it. But to reject God of the job he was getting… that was wicked.
