Sorry for the delay. I ended up doing more spiritual stuff and my soul merging, and apparently my soul melding that happened around the same time, finished with Frodo Baggins, "The Lord of the Rings". So, that happened.

Anyway, let's continue with this chapter. :)

God left His throne room. In haste, He charged towards the broken stained-glass window, where he saw a ghastly sight: one-third Heavenly host, with Satan as their leader, poured towards the Angelic Building, from which God stood inside. The very thought of having to face Satan was alarming, but God knew what to do.

"Where are you?" Satan asked, protruding towards the entrance to the Angelic Building.

"I'm here," God said, in a knowing voice.

Satan snarled at God's presence. Satan wasn't alarmed or anything, as God didn't make a very good scare, but that hint from God, that knowing expression, sent chills up Satan's spine.

"What do you take me for?" Satan asked God, courteously.

God smirked, knowingly. "Oh Satan, you know, this fight won't go well. If you don't put that sword down, and proceed to do your job, I will have no choice except to—"

"What?" Satan asked, beyond disbelief. "What will you do? I'm in charge now! You cannot do this, Lord!"

God grinned with tremendous wonder. "Oh Satan, don't let your job take over you." He chuckled, returning to His throne room, but not before proceeding to address Satan one last time, "This battle won't be won by you, Satan. And… I need you to be at my side for what I am about to do. Refuse and—"

"I refuse! You cannot do this to me! I am a god, like you!" Satan told God off, claiming his place on the throne.

God chuckled. "Oh Satan, do you not see that your battle with me is already lost. Now, turn around and go home. Come back to me in your true form, Lucifer Morningstar, or you will lose this day."

Satan sneered. He cackled, telling the one-third Heavenly host, "Did you hear that? God thinks He's going to win this battle!" The one-third Heavenly host laughed. "Well, I don't think so. Angels, proceed into battle!"

The one-third Heavenly host of Angels cheered, ready for war.

God shook his head. "You leave me no choice. Michael, begin this battle."

Michael nodded from outside the Angelic building. "At once, my Lord." He drew his sword, telling the two-thirds Heavenly host. "Angels, proceed! This rebellion will be won by us!"

"Yes!" the two-thirds Heavenly host declared, drawing their swords and other weapons.

"Angels, attack!" Michael declared, charging on swift wings alongside the two-thirds Heavenly host.

"Angels, advance!" Satan cried, moving into battle with the one-third Heavenly host.

At first, Satan and Michael's army of Angels proceeded at a walk. The walk was followed by a trot. Very soon, everyone advanced on swift feet, enraged at each other for choosing a side against God. It was in this moment that the two armies clashed, swords drawn and wings flapping… or horns and goat cloves, as was the case with Satan and his army, soon turning from an army of Angels to an army of Fallen Angels.

The Fallen Angels' wings sprang forth from different brightly colors, to sinister colors. Some Fallen Angels' wings turned dark blue, while other Fallen Angels' wings sported other sinister colors. The Angels that remained on God's side's wings remained as bright as ever, and growing brighter and lighter in tone than one could realize.

The Fallen Angels' personalities changed, too, becoming more sinister and mischievous, but also vicious and malevolent as time wore on.

It was as soon as the Fallen Angels and the Angels proceeded to take each other down that Satan departed for the Angelic Building, where God waited for him in the throne room.

Satan entered God's throne room. He was surprised the golden doors were wide open. It was as though God waited for him, carrying a glowing glass orb in his hands, before proceeding to place that orb on a stone pedestal.

God looked at Satan, who threw his sword at Him. God was clever. He blocked the sword with a sweep of His hand, leaving Satan with a few burn marks on his arms, leaving the Fallen Archangel collapsing on the floor in pain.

"Why do you do this, Lord?! Why?!" Satan screamed in agony.

God shook His head. With a sigh, God proceeded to mend the burns, healing them instantly. God looked at Satan with warning eyes, "I come to you now in hopes that you will work for me. You are Satan now, after all, Lucifer Morningstar. Your job remains the same: to become the mischievous doubter who sheds doubt and fear on everyone, including yourself."

God looked at him with disdain in His eyes. "Your army will be moved to the Middle Heaven. You, on the other hand, will be sent down to the Lower Dimensions. There, we shall go over what to do next. This is your punishment, but at the same time, my curiosity for the Lower Dimensions remains the same."

He smirked, telling Satan, "And you fell for it."

Satan looked at God in wonder. "Why are you doing this? What is the point in going down to the Lower Dimensions? I didn't do this!"

God shook His head. "You may be like this now, but you will harden up sooner or later. Your journey will be a perilous one. I promise you. Should you survive, and we'll see if you do, you will commence with My Plan. Surely, you did not think I would leave you in this state for no reason. Do My Plan or you will be thrown down into the Void's pit. Is that understood?"

Satan raged. The pit was the last place he wanted to go. Wasn't there another way? "What will happen to us? To my angels? Will they be defeated, too?"

God sighed. He looked at Satan in wonder, telling him, "No. My Fallen Angels will proceed on the long road back to the Heavens, back to Me. They will then, after some of them have passed their first test, be allowed to repeat the cycle, again, and again, and again until they've learned all their lessons. They've become my experiment. Granted, there will be other Angels who will assist them back up to the High Heavens, where I live. But until such a time has come, they will work hard until they've earned their places back with Me. Those Angels who disobey me and do not choose a side will be given another path, and one I dearly hope they will take with kindness."

He smirked, saying to Satan, "But alas, this whole Divine Plan I've come up with has already started. I will see you outside."

Satan sighed. He didn't have a choice. "Yes, my Lord." He sagged on the way out of the Angelic Building, where he witnessed Angels and Fallen Angels facing off against each other.

~o~

God looked at the Angels and Fallen Angels. Bloodshed was everywhere, with some Angels and Fallen Angels revealing cuts and fresh blood oozing down against their skin. Their faces were hollow from the fight, but their determination was resounded.

This was a battle unlike anything God had ever seen. It was only the beginning.

Then there were Angels who didn't know what to do. They witnessed the battle, the rebellion, but decided to stay out of it. These Angels disobeyed both sides, leaving God angry at them.

God pointed at this group of Angels, proceeding to tell them, "Because you have not fought, or chosen a side, you shall walk between worlds. The Lower Dimensions will become your home until you learn all your lessons and return to Me. You shall become the Faeries."

This particular group of Angels changed shape and form, transforming from Angels to a variety of beings and creatures. Otherworldly and mysterious, but playful and mischievous. Some were malevolent, while others were kind. Tricksy and having a way with words, these Angels would become.

They were no longer Angels. They were Faeries.

God turned to the rest of the Fallen Angels, declaring, "As for the rest of you, you will be sent to the Middle Heavens. The first group of Fallen Angels will proceed down to the Lower Dimensions with Satan. We will then test you all, to see who can return to the High Heavens, here, first and be reunited with Me.

"Is this understood?" God asked the Fallen Angels, at which many of them cried out in panic. God looked at Michael, saying to him, "Archangel Michael, it's time to go."

"At once, my Lord," Michael declared, knowing what to do.

Satan shook his head, telling him, "Wait, wait. No! You can't do this! I just—"

"Goodbye," Michael said, sending Satan down to the Lower Dimensions with God, where God's work was about to begin again.
