Vampire Harry test chapter:
"Oh look, he's spacing out again." Third year Gryffindor Dean Thomas snorted as his friends Neville Longbottom and Seamus Finnegean followed his eye line. The trio were sat at the Gryffindor table and were now looking at Harry Potter, the boy-who-lived and the boy who was sat next to them.
The story of Harry Potter was well known, he was the boy who supposedly did the impossible and deflected the killing curse - an unblockable spell that pretty much did what it said on the tin - right back at the most feared dark lord of all time, Voldemort. Though the man was actually so feared that even years after his death people still refused to speak his name and simply called him 'he-who-must-not-be-named' or 'you-know-who'. However unfortunatly the next day he had been bitten by a vampire.
Harry Potter was a very good looking boy, yes his skin was pale but he was undeniably attractive. He had a thin face with perfect bone structure, his raven black hair was messy and wild and maintained a 'just been in the wind' look. Though his best features were undeniably his bright emerald green eyes that he had inherited from his mother. There were a few things about Harry that people may or may not find attractive such as his pale skin, the faint puncture wounds on his neck and the fact that his teeth could shift to give himself fangs.
"Of course he is," Seamus snorted. "look who just walked in." He said before he gestured to the great hall enterance where none other than Ginny Weasley walked in. Ginny Weasley, a pretty girl in the year below them, currently had four older brothers in school. One was Percy who was currently head boy, then there were the twins Fred and George who were both in their fifth year of schoo; and were infamously known as pranksters. Then there was the final brother, Ron, the brother in their year.
"Shut it," Harry said dismissively, barely paying attention. "my future lady has arrived." Harry said, licking his lips slightly as he looked at Ginny Weasley, there was something about the girl that attracted Harry attention to her everyday. Harry wasn't sure if it was her simple yet beautiful chocloate brown eyes, her pretty freckled face or her pretty red hair, it might just simply be her wonderful personality. Harry wasn't sure, but the one thing he was sure of was the fact that Ginny Weasley was the only girl he was interested in. Harry had barely noticed that Ron had entered the room with Ginny.
Ron was not really popular in the house of Gryffindor for quite a few reasons, one of which was the fact that he was not a model student. Gryffindor's might not be as serious about rules and behaving as the Ravenclaws's but they did value it since the actions of even one student affected the reputation of the house, though that was a rather minor issue as far as the majority of Gryffindor was concerned. No, the real reason why Ronald was not really that popular was the fact that Ron was quite simply a biggot.
He wasn't like Malfoy in Slytherin who if given the slightest chance would sprout off about how he felt that muggles and muggleborn were like inferior animals. Ron admittidly did feel like muggles were beneath wizards but he was nowhere near as bad in that belief as Malfoy. No, Ron was preudiced against vampires.
While everyone had some worries about Harry living with them at first, they had been able to get over it quickly enough when Harry showed that he had no interest in attacking anyone in their house. It also helped when Harry made friends with three out of his four dormmates, including Dean who was a muggleborn and Neville who Harry had assisted in getting over his crippling shyness. Sure Harry was a vampire but for the most part he acted like a normal boy, which was why Seamus, Dean and Neville had all readily began defending him against those who thought he was a blood thirsty monster who should be put down. It might be considered suprising to know, but not every witch and/or wizard posssesed a deep fear of vampires, they had been around for hundreds and hundreds of year, there exists a 'Society for the Tolerance of Vampires', which by its given name, must campaign for greater acceptance of vampires and their culture in the magical world, given their seemingly malignant reputation. The wizarding world also sets guidelines to prevent exterminating vampires outright. So once everyone confirmed Harry wasn't a blood thristy maniac he was pretty much nearly accepted by all.
Ron however had refused any attempts Harry made to be friends, Harry had given up quite early on that, seeing no reason to force himself on Ron or waste his time on a boy who irrationally feared him.
"It's a shame that he's her brother." Harry sighed as Ginny and Ron came closer, Harry smiled at Ginny who smiled back, or at least she did until Ron saw what was happening and scowled before grabbing her arm and dragging her further up the table. "Her neck is looking particularly slender today." Harry whispered to the others.
"Hmm, that is a good neck." Dean agreed with a smirk on his lips.
"She's a bit pale but that's part of the attractiveness." Seamus grinned, playing along.
"Really attractive jugular." Neville said, joining in.
"I know, right?" Harry grinned, seeming to have not picked up on the fact that they weren't being sincere.
Near the end of breakfast Harry got up and walked over to where Ginny was sat.
"What do you want?" Ron scowled, sitting opposite Ginny.
"Your blood in a bottle," Harry said in a dry voice before he turned to Ginny. "excuse me Ginny, but I was wonderinf if you'd like to go on a date with me tommorow?" Harry asked.
"I'd love that." Ginny smiled.
"Wait! You can't do that!" Ron protested as he stood up and gared at Harry. "You can't go with her! You..." Whatever Ron was about to say died in his throat when Harry's eyes shifted from green to red, Harry's mouth opened slightly to reveal his fangs and he let out a small growl that caused Ron to whimper as he sat back down.
"Right then," Harry said to Ginny after he went back to normal a few seconds later. "how about we meet during lunch to discuss our date?" Harry asked.
"That's be lovely." Ginny smiled at him.
"Great, oh and by the way...neck kiss!" Harry quickly reached down and kissed her neck before he turned and walked off. "Kissed her neck." Harry said in a proud voice as he got back to his friends.
