Batman had seen a lot of weird things in his time, he had done a lot of surpising and dangerous stuff in his time, and now he could add fighting an alien army to that list. It was a big step up from the Gotham city criminal scum that he had spent most of his life dealing with but it was not totally out of his ball park, after all he had dealt with mind controlled plants, enhanced individuals and even carnivourous killer crocodile exited the crashed jet and rushed forwards along with the other three members of his impromptu team. Or at least the three members with him, as he knew that Iron Man was flying around and it was very, very likely that Thor and Hulk would join them soon.
Firstly there was Captain America whose real name was Steve Rogers, he was dressed in a quite frankly ridiculous looking blue suit but at least it would give the Captain sufficnt movement. The Captain was physically enhanced in pretty much everyway possible, he was at a physical strength that Batman could never reach even with a life time of training, though Batman was at peak human level conditions so he was close enough to be able to challenge Steve in a fight. Steve AKA Captain America also possessed a unique shield that was made out of an extremely rare and massively valuable metal known as Vibranium. Batman really wished he could get some time to study it, he did know that there was some that had been found in the African country Wakanda and should he make it out of today alive then he'd probably go there to look more into it.
The second person with them was Clint Barton Hawkeye who was mostly dressed in black and was equipped with a few different weapons, though his main weapons were without doubt the bow and arrow he was supporting. Clint was an extremely talented marksman, accurate enough with a gun that he would impress deadshot but his gun skills were overshadowed by his archery skills, they were impressive, so much so that sometimes Batman would struggle to guess if he was better than Oliver Queen (AKA Green Arrow) from his old world.
The third person with Batman was Natasha Romanoff AKA the Black Widow, she wore an attractive and tight black bodysuit and was equipped with several weapons, she - much like Batman himself and Hawkeye - were arguably extremely weak in comparison to the other members who could all bench press cars. But with that being said she - much like Batman and Hawkeye - was not someone who should be taken lightly, they had all earned their reptutations.
Batman himself was wearing suit made of a Kevlar weave with ceramic plates centered around the bat symbol with the inclusion of a holographic screen projector in the right gauntlet that allowed him to communicate with his other allies face-to-face.
The tri-weave bodysuit consists of an outer and inner layer made from a titanium-dipped tri-weave fiber mesh. Sandwiched in between is the MR-fluid based liquid armor system. The proprietary WayneTech Smart MR-fluid hardens in response to impacts, specifically designed to provide superior shock absorption, as well as enabling greater force delivery behind counterattacks. The liquid body armor layer is also more flexible than the ceramic or fiber-based alternatives used in previous suits, allowing for greater maneuverability and faster elimination of multiple targets in quick succession. The suit's subsystems are symbiotically integrated with the Batmobile and provide a quick launch capability via the vehicle's electromagnetic ejection system). Designed to withstand up to 6gs of acceleration, the suit increases navigational capability by tolerating high acceleration maneuvers without risk of injury (vis-a-vis gliding, grapnel boosting, and high-speed ejection from the Batmobile).
While the new suit was high tech in nature and offered Batman his full mobility, it was, however, only moderately effective against bullets. While the actual plates could easily stop bullets , in between the plates was were the weakness of this armor was, as demonstrated by The Arkham Knight as the liquid armor layer was highly effective against impact, but only offered moderate protection from bullets, especially at point blank range. However if shot the suit was designed to compress around the wound and stop the bleeding,
It was in impressive suit, but Batman intended to add further improvments once he was able to get Stark to work with him on improving it, the billionaire had offered (all but begged) to help when he was working with Batman on the shield hellicarrier.
"Um...just to check, am I the only one who is seeing a bunch of aliens shoot out of a portal in the middle of the sky in the middle of New York in the middle of the day?" Hawkeye asked, staring at the portal with disbelief.
"No." Batman simply replied.
"Oh, good." Hawkeye sighed before looking down and muttering something about how his life was even stupider than he expected.
"Our priority is protecting the citizens, we need to work on containment." Batman said to the others as he spotted an alien charriot flying towards them at high took out a batarang and threw it, it curved threw the air and hit the driver of the chariot, the chariot shot off course and crashed into the ground a short distance behind them.
"And killing as many aliens as we can." Black Widow replied as she cocked her hand guns.
"And that." Batman quietly agreed, while he was most definetly not a big fan of killing people, he did have exceptions to the rule, and invading aliens were one of them. Batman pulled out his grappling gun and aimed it upwards, "Good luck." he said before he aimed it upwards, a line shot out and pulled him into the air.
Once Batman was sufficently high enough he reached into his belt and threw out a trio of batarangs, knocking a few alien chariots out of the sky. The grappling hook released itself from the side of the building and allowed Batman to drop them onto another chariot, the alien passenger swung at him with a staff like weapon, Batman ducked before he kicked the passenger off. Batman dropped a shock device on the driver before jumping off and gliding down to another chariot.
'This'll be a long day'. He mentally sighed.
