Test Chapter:

Plot: Harry Potter is a Hogwarts student because Dumbledore insisted, even though Harry was a squib. Being a squib Harry had limited amounts of magic, but that didn't mean he wasn't dangerous. Harry/Astoria.

Scene 1:

"Oh! Sorry!" Astoria Greengrass, a first-year Slytherin, squeaked after she ran into someone while turning a corner. She dropped a book and was about to lean down to get it when the person she had bumped into reached down and picked it up for her. As he handed it to her she was able to get a good look at his face.

He had messy, black hair with a thin face and bright, emerald green eyes. He looked like he was a second year, his robes let her know that he was a Gryffindor. It took her a moment but eventually, she saw the lightning-shaped scar on his forehead, she nearly gasped as recognition hit her with the force of a train, she was standing in front of Harry Potter. Harry Potter: the boy who lived, the one who supposedly survived the unstoppable killing curse and defeated the unstoppable dark lord when he was still old enough to sleep in a crib, the boy who everyone confirmed was a squib.

Everyone knew that he was the first squib that has ever been allowed to attend Hogwarts, he didn't go to wand based classes like charms and transfiguration but he did attend every class available where he didn't have to use a wand, and from what she heard, he had top marks in those class. He was also definitely skilled on a broom, as evidenced by the fact that he is the youngest seeker in a century. And if she hadn't believed it before then she definitely believed it when she saw him play.

"Are you alright?" Harry asked.

"Oh, um...yeah, thank you." She nodded. "I'm sorry, I should have been watching where I was going."

"No, it's alright. I should have been paying more attention, sorry." He apologized before extending a hand towards her. "My name is Harry Potter." He introduced himself.

"Astoria Greengrass." She replied, she offered her hand and he took it, he gently placed a kiss on the top of her knuckles before letting her go.

"A pleasure to meet you," Harry smiled at her. "oh, your sister is Daphne Greengrass, right?" He asked.

"Yeah, she's mentioned you before." Astoria admitted with a grin, "She's not exactly happy that you keep beating her in potions." she added.

"Well, to be fair, neither is Professor Snape." Harry grinned back.

"Oi, Potter." A voice interrupted, Draco Malfoy and his two bodyguards, Crabbe and Goyle, arrived on the scene. "What are you doing here?"

"Breathing and standing mostly," Harry answered without missing a beat. "what about you, Malfoy? If you're looking to get your nails and hair done then I heard that Professor Snape is in his office."

"Shut it, Potter. You shouldn't be bothering good purebloods, especially this one." Malfoy said as he wrapped an arm around Astoria's shoulders, she clearly looked uncomfortable with it but he hadn't seemed to have noticed. "This is my future bride." He said with a grin.

"In that case, I'd like to offer you my sincerest apologies," Harry said to Astoria. "if I had known that you were going to have the misfortune of spending time with this prat then I would have at least brought you some flowers and a card to try and cheer you up."

Malfoy growled and pulled out his wand. "Shut it, Potter!" He hissed as he pressed his wand into Harry's chest. "Go away now or suffer the consequences, you stupid squib. I don't even know why you came to Hogwarts, you know that you can't do anything against proper wizards like me."

Astoria looked at Harry, waiting to see how he would react. He didn't look scared, he didn't say anything either. Harry looked at Malfoy with a wide smile, like there was a massively funny joke that Malfoy didn't get.

The next day Astoria saw Harry and saw he was wearing that exact same smile. Funnily enough, she saw that smile after hearing that Malfoy had fallen down a set of stairs and broken his wrist.

Scene 2:

"This is madness," Dumbledore said as he and the other Order members stared at the room that was looking more and more like a graveyard after each passing second. "complete and utter madness." He looked around the room, seeing death eaters - and these people were definitely death eaters - dead.

"It looks like a muggle did this or a group of them," Moody commented.

"A muggle couldn't kill this many people." One member scoffed disbelievingly.

"Look around!" Moody snapped. "You see the evidence around you?! We've got arrows! Throwing stars! Signs of head trauma and bullet wounds!"

"How do you know that they are bullet wounds?" Another member asked.

"BECAUSE OF THOSE!" An exasperated Moody yelled as he pointed to the bullets left on the floor.

"Oh...fair point."
