Jimmy hadn't been able to sleep. His mind was weighed down by the thought of the Mawgu trapped in the Infini-Cube. He squeezed his eyes, trying to command his brain to stop. But the image lingered still. He tossed and turned, struggling against whatever had come over him. The thought he alone was responsible for letting the Mawgu out was alot for him to bear. He wrestled against his anxiety with logic. No one in the known universe shared his DNA. So, no one should be able to free the Mawgu.
Jimmy muttered to himself, "No one can let him out. No one will let him out. He will never get out. Right?"
Meanwhile, at Professor Calamitous' secret lair, He and Vlad were working on something together.
Vlad noted, "You know, we should really let Densel and Sheldon know we're going to get into the Dark Matter Dimension. We all took that blood oath, not just you and me."
Calamitous scoffed, "What Densel and Sheldon don't know won't kill them. Besides, only we have experience with portals of this magnitude."
Vlad looked at the plans and then the portal and asked, "And you're sure it's supposed to be inside a triangle like that?"
Calamitous snapped, "Just get in there and, uh.. erm, you know what to do."
Vlad said, "Okay, I'll pull the lever."
He rushed into the room with the portal and pulled the lever. The portal whirred to life.
A loud, horrible tearing noise could be heard reverberating throughout Gravity Falls. Everyone had to cover their ears, glass shattered, and car alarms went off. An orange hexagonal hole opened right next to the still-cracking statue of Bill Cipher.
A strange, short man in a lab coat with goggles and a furry mustache came into the world, picked up the statue, and then left back into the portal.
Then it closed, and with it, the sound of absolute silence.
Vlad asked, "What is that?"
Calamitous said, "Our first trophy. This statue of a deity from another world!"
He set the statue up in the corner of the room and then recalibrated the machine. Vlad was a bit enraptured by the sight; after all, it wasn't every day he saw an eye of providence wearing a top hat and bow tie.
Calamitous scolded, "Focus, Vlad!"
Vlad quickly got into position and pulled the lever again. This time, when the portal opened, Evil Jimmy eagerly entered.
Evil Jimmy said, "Finally! I was wondering when someone would bring me back!"
Vlad said, "Hello, Malicious James. Call me Vlad Plasmius. The professor and Ir worked hard to bring you to this world."
Evil Jimmy snapped, "Call me that again, and I will tear you apart atom by atom, ghost man!"
Vlad chuckled, his fists oozing ectoplasm and his eyes glowing green, "I'd like to see you try, boy."
Calamitous growled, "Enough, both of you!"
Evil Jimmy approached Calamitous and asked, "So what do you need me for, Professor?"
Calamitous retorted, "How did you know I needed you?"
Evil Jimmy quipped, "Uhm, hello, boy genius here! I know you villainous types don't just let each other out because you're concerned with mental health. You need me to get into that goody original's lab."
Vlad said, "Wow, you are a genius."
Calamitous said, "Precisely, We need that Infini-Cube for my next Evil plan! To ensnare all worlds into one place!"
Evil Jimmy said, "Imprisoning a universe. I like it!"
He came into the lab and noticed the statue asking, "What's with stone henge here?"
Vlad said, "It's our first trophy, and we hope to have many more as we intend to expand into the wider multiverse!"
Calamitous asked, "Isn't he wonderful?"
Evil Jimmy smiled and said, "Yeah! He certainly is."
Vlad then questioned, "Why are your two referring to this statue as he?"
Calamitous replied, "It feels like the thing to do."
Vlad was bewildered but shook it off.
Jimmy finally resolved to check in on his lab after his body refused to yield to sleep. He got out of bed and grabbed a flashlight. He went downstairs to the backyard. He turned on the flashlight, and as the beam pierced the shadows of the night, he saw something.
His jaw dropped when he saw that the door to his laboratory was wide open. He rushed inside, and his heart pounded out of his chest as he heard someone rummaging through his things. His horror sank as he saw his laboratory in ruins; the inventions were in shambles. It was so that art that he had a sinking feeling he knew exactly what was in the lab.
Jimmy finally came to the intruder, and sure enough, it was his Evil clone! The clone turned to Jimmy with a smug smile. He held up the Infini-Cube with a glint in his eye.
Evil Jimmy jeered, "You should have let Clamatious destroy you when he had the chance."
Jimmy snapped, "You'll never get away with this."
Evil Jimmy threw down a little Hexahedron onto the ground, and an orange hexagon portal opened on the spot.
Evil Jimmy smirked and said, "Oh, I already have."
Then he disappeared into the portal.
Sirens blared in the Time Police headquarters. Two codes flashed cryptically on Blandin's tablet screen: Code Gold Pryamid and Code Orange.
"Okay," Blandin muttered to himself, "Code Gold Pryamid means the physical body of Bill Cipher has gone missing. But, Code Orange?!"
Time Baby's voice boomed across the headquarters, "BLANDIN! FRONT AND CENTER!"
Blandin rushed to Time Baby, not wanting to draw any more attention to himself. Time Baby scowled at Blandin.
Time Baby demanded, "Where is it?"
Blandin said, "Look, I don't know. I'm not even sure what Code Orange means."
Time Baby said, "Ah, you weren't briefed. Well, now that you have higher clearance, you learn that Bill Cipher is one of many villains clamoring for control of the multiverse. There is one group of interest that is now breached into our world. They're called the Evil Syndicate. A group from this universe called Nickelodeon, a slimy, disgusting group of misfits that the rest of us Toons barely even tolerate. I mean, come on, one of their challenges is to pick a giant nose complete with snot!"
Blandin gagged, "Ew!"
Time Baby then explained, "More to the point, we need to brace ourselves for the threat of this Evil Syndicate."
Blandin then asked, "And you don't think the rise of this Evil Syndicate and the disappearance of Bill Cipher's physical body may be connected?"
Time Baby considered it and said, "Oh, no. The Evil Syndicate is a dangerous threat, but not like that!"
Blandin was confused and asked, "What do you mean?"
Time Baby said, "Well, Their just Pranksters! There's no reason why they would want to join forces with notorious Nightmare Demon, Bill Cipher!"
Blandin was bewildered but couldn't come up with a counterargument.
Time Baby then commented, "I just can't believe that the MAwgu failed. He seemed so ready to drain the universe dry of its power."
Blandin was in shock.
To be continued...
