Plot: Same as my last Harry born in DC chapter, just with one change to him, this time he is born in the league of shadows as the son of Talia and Batman. Basically a replacement for Damian Wayne.
Scene 1:
"Just once, I'd like to be a normal kid," Harry muttered to himself as he dodged a throwing knife that had been thrown from a shadow and had nearly taken off the tip of his nose. He easily caught the knife and tossed it back in the direction it came from. The knife was easily caught by none other than his new mother, Talia Al Ghul. The beautiful brown-haired woman stepped out of the shadows with a smirk on her face.
"You are improving nicely, Dear," She said with a proud smile.
'Hard not to improve when all you do is train,' Harry thought to himself just before Talia tossed the knife away and rushed towards him, pulling out a very sharp sword as she did so. Harry let out a mental sigh before pulling out his own sword and charging forward, their deadly blades clashed against each other as they 'sparred'.
Harry knew that this life was very different from his past life. In this life, he was not the boy-who-lived, saviour of the wizarding world. Heck, he didn't even know if the wizarding world existed. In this life he was born in the league of shadows, an underground assassin organisation that's been around for hundreds and hundreds of years. A group that was under the command of his grandfather, a man with access to a magical pit that keeps him alive and young - Isn't that just lovely? - and allowing him to rule until he gets what he considers to be a worthy heir.
The heir that his grandfather wanted was none other than Harry's father, Bruce Wayne AKA The Batman, a crime-fighting superhero that dressed up as a bat and fights criminals at night. While it might sound like the beginning of a bad comic book, Batman was not someone who should be underestimated. Harry's new mother and grandfather had made him do his research into Batman and he more than lived up to the legend from what Harry could see.
As for Harry, he was a genetically perfected soldier made from the union of Batman and Talia, between many experiments and years of training, Harry was already far more dangerous than the average man. Even able to hang with the adult members of the league in fights, Harry was being raised as the perfect soldier and he knew it. For now, he was content to play along, learn as much as he can. But soon, he would be getting out of here. The only question was how?
Scene 2:
"So, I'll bite, why did you call us both here?" Nightwing asked, standing alongside Batgirl as Batman sat at the Bat-computer.
"It sounded urgent," Batgirl added in a questioning tone. "Are you alright?" She asked with concern in her voice.
"I am fine," Batman said gruffly as he stood up and turned away from the computer before taking a deep breath. "I have important news, a few days ago there was an attack on the League of Shadows."
"The League of Shadows? What nut would be crazy enough to attack them?" Nightwing asked before pausing. "You know...besides us,"
"Not sure, yet," Batman grunted. "My best guess at the moment is Deathstroke, he has a history with the league. Though I'm also investigating Crane,"
"You think it could be Scarecrow?" Batgirl hummed thoughtfully.
"It's possible," Batman nodded. "But that's not why I called you both here. The League was hiding more than I originally suspected, it turns out that one of those things was a boy named Harry."
"What's so special about this 'Harry?' Nightwing questioned him. "Did they kill him? Are they holding him for ransom?"
"Not really," A voice said just as Harry dropped down and landed next to Batman, shocking both Nightwing and Batgirl. "Your bats are really nice," He told Batman as several bats flew down from the cave ceilings and began flying around him before flying away with the exception of a baby bat that had landed on Harry's head. "I shall name you Ronald," He told the bat fondly.
"He's my son," Batman added, shocking both Nightwing and Batgirl into silence.
"Ta-da!" Harry drawled out as unenthusiastically as possible, spreading his arms out widely.
Scene 3:
"How are we holding up?" Harry asked as he landed next to Supergirl, quickly throwing a Batarang out at Green Arrow who had been distracted while battling Artemis, allowing it to easily knock him out.
"Good to see you too, though I would have liked at least a 'hello' from my boyfriend," Supergirl grumbled before answering. "We got most of the Justice League contained, Kid-Flash reports that the mind control is wearing off."
"Yep," Miss Martian confirmed as she phased through a wall and rushed forward, kissing Harry on the lips before smiling at him. "Uncle John's free and is already helping out."
"You know, I still find it unfair for you to have multiple girlfriends," Kid-Flash said as he ran in at super speed and stopped right next to them. "But we got something worse to deal with now," Kid-Flash pointed to Superman who was flying towards them with a rage-filled expression on his face.
"Megan, Wally, secure points A5 and B10." Harry commanded. "Kara, go and assist Aqualad,"
"You want to deal with Kal-El on your own?" Kara gaped at him.
"I got it, now go," He ordered, only to pause when he saw that none of them had moved. "GO!" He barked out, sending them all scattering. Harry took several steps forward as Superman closed in. "Let's see if this works," Harry took in a deep breath just as Superman got close enough to throw a punch. Time seemed to slow for Harry who easily sidestepped the punch, Superman's eyes went wide before a punch to the face sent him flying into the nearest wall.
"What? But how?!" He gaped.
"Well," Harry chuckled. "Kryptonian blood plus magic equals one hell of an amazing ritual."
