Plot: Percy and Thalia find themselves sent to another world by the Olympians, unfortunately, they end up being noticed by none other than Shield. Set from the start of the the third book.
Scene 1:
'You have to go to this new world, they said, it'll all be alright, they said,' Percy thought as the wind slammed into his face. 'Give us each a backpack and just casually send us across universes. Zeus, if you can hear this, I hate you.'
Percy forced his eyes to open as he continued plummeting straight towards the Earth, the wind slapped into him from every direction. He looked to his left and saw Thalia falling right next to him. The only difference was that Thalia was screaming so hard that one would have thought that Hades himself was trying to rip apart her soul. Honestly, he was shocked that the daughter of Zeus was not more composed than him, maybe she was scared of heights. The thing was that her screaming was honestly distracting him more than the falling to their deaths.
He looked down and saw that thankfully the ocean appeared to be underneath them, and that meant that he had a fighting chance. Ever since discovering that his father was Posideon, the sea god, he had been experimenting with water as much as possible. He knew that he could pretty much survive any fall from any height as long as he had a decent amount of water beneath him, he had recently tried bringing other things with him to see if he could spread this particular ability to things he was holding. He had managed to survive a hundred-foot drop with a delicate glass cup, though Thalia was far different from a small glass cup.
He took a deep breath and pushed himself in her direction and was promptly slapped in the face by a flailing Thalia who apparently hadn't even noticed that his face was now redder than normal, he took another deep breath and begged for patience before reaching out again and grabbing her from behind, thankfully closing his legs as he did so and avoiding a stray leg hitting him in the balls. He spun them so she was on top of him before he pinned both her arms to her body and wrapped his legs around hers, he was holding her arms with one arm before pointing down towards the ocean with his free arm. He focused before pulling up, a tower of water shot up from it and grabbed them both, pulling them into the ocean.
After taking a moment to make sure they both weren't dead, Percy pulled them up so they broke the surface of the water. Thalia was still shaking even then.
"Thalia, you okay?" Percy asked in a concerned voice.
"W...what?" Thalia blinked before staring at Percy, her eyes widened before she roughly pushed him away. "I'm fine, I...whoa!" She blinked, suddenly feeling the water from the ocean. "What the..."
"It was my powers keeping us dry," He explained. "Anyway, you didn't tell me you were afraid of heights,"
"What?!" She squawked. "I'm not! I'm not scared of anything!"
"That's why you were screaming your head of, is it?" Percy scoffed.
"Shut it, Seaweed Brain!" Thalia snapped at him. "I..." She trailed off as she stared behind him.
"What?" He blinked before looking back and seeing what appeared to be a massive ship, on top of it were many men and women in uniform, pointing guns at them. In the centre of all of these men and women was a tough-looking black man with a bald head and a black eye patch.
Scene 2:
"So," Nick Fury said as she sat opposite Percy in what appeared to be an interrogation room, including a large table in between them along with a mirror on the side of the wall that according to all of the movies and TV shows in existence would most likely have a group of people in the room behind it. "You're trying to tell me that you and this girlfriend of yours just fell out of the sky for no reason?"
"She's not my girlfriend," Percy mumbled. "And I never told you we fell out of the sky."
"Because we say you fall out of the sky," Fury responded.
"You sure you didn't have your eyepatch over your good eye?" Percy asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Look kid, we've got video footage of the two of you diving to your deaths before the ocean itself leaped up and saved you both, judging from what we saw, you're the one who was responsible for that. How?"
"I prayed to the god of the seas," Percy grunted. "If you want I'll pray for him to bless you with hair,"
"Kid, you can keep playing as many games as you want, we'll get the answers we need out of you before you leave," Fury said as he stood up and walked out of the room.
'Oi, Sea-Brain!' A voice echoed in his head.
'Thalia, that you?' He asked.
'Yeah,'
'How the hell are you in my head?!'
'A lot of experimentation,' She admitted. 'It's surprisingly empty in here, you know,'
'Oh, ha ha,' He said, giving her a fake laugh. 'You have been interrogated as well?'
'Yeah, some bitch in a full body uniform, it's all blue, you'd like it.'
'Huh, I got the asshole with the eyepatch,' He told her. 'We need to get out of here,'
'But first we need to get our backpacks, there are valuable gifts in those things,'
'Well, they took my pen from me, but they haven't checked me since, it's in my pocket right now,'
'They took my mace can from me, but I still got my bracelet,' She informed him. Percy hummed thoughtfully as he heard this, he knew that his pen could turn into his sword Riptide, which normally wouldn't be able to harm mortals, but his father had told him that adjustments had been made for his trip. As for Thalia, her bracelet could turn into a pretty decent shield, while her mace can would turn into a spear, meaning right now she was only equipped with a spear.
'So, first, we escape our rooms, get our things, then escape the ship.'
'And how do you plan to do that?' Thalia asked. 'I mean, we could go full force and burst out but I'd rather not risk getting shot.'
'Well, you know what my abilities are?' He asked.
'You control water, right?' She asked slowly, feeling his grin.
'Mostly, but I also control any and all water-crafts,' He told her. 'And this thing is currently floating in the ocean,'
'Wait, are you saying what I think you're saying?!'
'Mighty daughter of Zeus, would you please join this humble son of the sea in stealing an entire fucking ship?"
'Fuck yeah!'
Scene 3 :
"I can't believe you did that!" Thalia laughed as the two walked into their hotel room.
"What?" Percy laughed back as he closed the door. "The jerk had it coming!"
"I'm not telling you off, it was funny as fuck!" She giggled. "The way he kept looking afterwards was just...I don't even have words!"
"Well, hopefully, next time he won't try and trick innocent people like me," Percy grinned.
"You're about as innocent as me," She snorted.
"Agreed," A female voice said as someone stepped out of one of the bedrooms, Percy and Thalia quickly adopted fighting stances, their weapons appearing in less than a second as they turned to face the new arrival, a beautiful woman with red hair, dressed in an elegant black dress. "Long time no see,"
"Ah, Miss Widow, wasn't it?" Percy asked causally. "You work with Fury, don't you?"
"Black Widow is my codename, my actual name is Natasha Romanov," She told them. "And yes, I work for Shield."
"How did Shield find us?" Thalia glared at her with such intensity that Natasha couldn't help but take a step back, an odd feeling for the woman who had thoughts against Russian mobs with barely a thought.
"We never lost you, just kept our distance," She told them. "But right now, Fury needs you to come in."
"Fat chance," Percy scoffed.
"The world's at stake," She told them.
"When isn't it?" Thalia continued to glare at her.
"There is a new threat, one that Fury believes will target you two specifically," Natasha explained. "His name is Loki of Asgard, and we believe he's trying to find you two."
