A.N: Not really planning to write a story, just wanted to write down this idea.
Plot: Harry Potter was hoping to make a friend for life, though it didn't quite work out the way he thought it would. Enter Doomsday (The monster that killed Superman in the comics for those that don't know)
Scene 1:
"What happened?" Batman asked quickly as he arrived on the scene, he saw that most of the members of the Justice League were incapacitated in some way or form. Wonder Woman's shield was wedged into Cyborg's shoulder, Aquaman's face was bloody, Flash had broken his legs, Lantern was unconscious and Wonder Woman's left arm appeared to be broken, not to mention the state of the other leaguers. For now, he focused on Superman who seemed half-conscious.
"Clark!" Batman hissed. "What happened?"
"Doomsday..." Superman croaked. "Something...something took him away, he was here a minute ago." He said just before a flash of light signalled the arrival of their resident magical expert, Zatara.
"Something...something has happened," Zatara said, grimly.
Scene 2:
Harry let out a sigh as he sat in the forbidden forest, having finally finished drawing up his rune circle. He had come to Hogwarts, hoping that he'd finally find friends, and would finally be normal. Boy, his hopes were dashed in record time. Some people were horrible, Malfoy and Snape came to mind. Others were nice, like Ron, but Harry never felt like he could be himself around them like they wanted a specific version of him, they wanted the boy who lived. But that wasn't him.
He was just Harry.
Still, this ritual should help make things better for him. It was the familiar ritual, designed for making pets into familiars. A familiar was apparently like a pet, but one that was so much closer to the owner. They'd be together forever, inseparable. Now, that sounded like a dream. So here Harry was, planning to attempt the ritual with his beloved owl, Hedwig.
"Alright, Hedwig," He said to his owl who was perched on a nearby tree branch. "On my word, dive into the ritual circle, okay?" Hedwig nodded.
"Okay, let's start."
What followed was Harry chanting a ritual incantation for five minutes while sitting deathly still, barely moving at all and hoping that nothing would go wrong. Soon, it was time, Harry signalled Hedwig to fly towards him just as he was about to finish the last repetition. Hedwig flew towards him, about to enter the circle when a flash of light appeared above and a large figure dropped down, scaring Hedwig away as the new arrival dropped into the ritual circle.
A light flashed, and the ritual was complete.
Harry looked up and gaped at the new...thing...that was standing in front of him. What was in front of him looked like a monster out of some comic book. It was nearly eight feet in height, had grey skin and wore nothing beyond a pair of dark green shorts. It had bright red eyes, razor-sharp teeth and what looked like bone spikes protruding from various parts of its body. The two of them glowed brightly, the light slowly changed into a bright green before dying then.
The big monster looked at him, and a growl escaped from it before it looked down and seemingly noticed Harry for the first time.
"Uh...hello," Harry said quietly. "Um...it's nice to meet you...I suppose..." He said nervously, standing up and wondering where his wand is, only to remember that he had to leave it outside of the ritual circle. The problem with that was that he wouldn't be able to get to it before the monster could get to him, plus he barely knew any spells so he suspected that he wouldn't suffer any differently with or without the want. "Um...I'm Harry..." He said, holding his hand out, not really sure what else to do. Figuring he might as well try being nice as he had nothing else to lose.
The creature reached for him, its giant hand wrapped around Harry's arm and it gently shook it. It was restraining itself, Harry could tell, he knew that it would take this thing minimal effort to rip his arm off. It let go and stared at him, awkwardly.
"Boy, this is awkward," Harry said, scratching his head, an action that the creature quickly mimicked.
Scene 3:
"Face it, Potter," Voldemort taunted, laughing loudly along with his death eaters. "You have no chance against me, you may be an above-average wizard but that's it, nothing in the face of Lord Voldemort. You can't beat me,"
"Maybe I can't," Harry chuckled as he forced himself up to his feet and stared at Voldemort, grinning madly. "But he can," He said, confusing Voldemort.
"And 'he' would mean?" Voldemort asked just before a large crash was heard.
"Voldy meet my friend," Harry introduced before turning to Doomsday.
"Get him?" Doomsday's voice boomed with a hopeful tone.
"Get him," Harry nodded.
"Get him?" Doomsday asked once more, grinning viciously.
"Get him!" Not needing any further incentive, Doomsday leapt at Voldemort who fired several spells that all bounced off Doomsday's hide. Voldemort apparated away just as Doomsday created a large crater that knocked all of the death eaters off of their feet.
"What the fuck is that?!" Voldemort demanded, appearing a small distance away. Harry was more than happy to answer his question.
"He's called Doomsday,"
