Beast Boy carried Terra into the tower, his heart pounding as he anticipated the reactions of his made his way to Terra's old room, the place where she had stayed during her time with the Titans. As he entered, his eyes fell upon the heart-shaped locket that he had given her when she first joined the team, a somber reminder of their past relationship.
The sight of the locket stirred a mixture of emotions within both of them—joy at the memory of their happier times, and sadness at the way things had ended. They stood there in silence for a moment, the weight of their shared history hanging heavy in the air.
Just then, the sound of footsteps interrupted the silence, signalling the return of the other Titans. Beast Boy's heart raced as he realized the moment of truth had arrived. He stepped out of the room, with Terra on his back as she had passed out from fatigue.
"Guys, I have an announcement to make," he said, his voice nervous but determined. The other Titans stopped in their tracks, their eyes widening in confusion as they took in the sight before them.
"Umm, tada! See, I told you it was her," Beast Boy continued, his voice gaining confidence as he presented Terra to them. The titans stood in shock as they tried to process the scene before them. "Ugh we'll talk about this in the morning ,"in the meantime get her to the medical ward , goodnight", Robin said as he and the other titans went to room, way too exhausted from their battle to deal with the current situation.
The next morning, the Titans gathered in the war room. Terra was in the medical bay, unconscious, her wounds being treated. Robin, Cyborg, and Raven sat around the table, faces grim. They hadn't spoken yet, but the tension in the air was palpable.
Robin broke the silence. "We need to talk about Beast Boy and his uh situation."
Cyborg leaned back in his chair, crossing his arms. "Man, I thought we were done with this. Terra's a ghost—she was gone. And now... she's back? After all she's done? Man what' she even doing here and what the heck did BB do?!"
Raven's eyes were cold, her voice even colder. "Regardless of what happened between them, we can't trust her. She betrayed us once, and she'll do it again. Bringing her back here was a mistake."
Robin nodded, his brow furrowed in thought. "Beast Boy… he's not thinking clearly. I saw the look in his eyes. Whatever happened last night, it's messing with his head. He's spiralling, and I don't think he'll be able to handle it if Terra stays here."
Cyborg sighed, shaking his head. "We've all seen the way he's been lately. This ain't about protecting Terra. He's doing this for himself, trying to make something outta nothing. It's like he's stuck, thinking he can bring back what's already dead."
Raven's gaze sharpened. "And what happens when she decides to turn on us again? She's unpredictable, dangerous. I can feel the conflict in her, even unconsciously. She's not here for redemption."
Robin tapped his fingers on the table. "You're right Raven, but we also need to think about the team and more importantly about Beast Boy. Beast Boy's emotional attachment to her is compromising everything. If she stays, we risk him becoming more unstable. If she goes… I'm not sure how he'll react and you of all people know how he gets when he gets mad…."
Cyborg shifted uncomfortably. "So what's the plan, then? We kick her out? We take her somewhere she can't hurt anyone?"
Raven's eyes darkened. "We get rid of her. For good."
Robin looked at her, surprised, but he didn't dismiss the idea outright. "We can't just—"
"We can," Raven interrupted, her voice harsh. "She's a threat. She's hurt us before, and she will again. She'll break Beast Boy even more. And if we're forced to choose between her and him, the choice is obvious."
The room fell into a tense silence.
"I'll talk to Beast Boy," Robin finally said, his voice heavy. "But we need to figure out a way to keep this from tearing the titans apart."
The three of them sat in brooding silence, the weight of Terra's presence threatening to unravel everything they had built. Outside, the sun rose on a new day, but inside the Tower, shadows loomed large—thicker, darker, more dangerous than ever before.
