The rest of the Titans gathered in the main control room, the weight of the situation pressing down on all of them.
"Starfire's gone," Robin said grimly, his fists clenched at his sides. "Rouge was posing as Terra this entire time. I should have seen it."
Cyborg rubbed his head, still dazed from the blow. "It all makes sense now. Rouge was probably behind Cinderblock, using her shapeshifting to mess with us. She and Blackfire have been working together from the start—this was all a setup to distract us and isolate Starfire."
Raven's voice was low and angry. "They kidnapped Starfire," she said, "and now they've got Terra," chimed in Beast Boy.
Beast Boy's face paled, his eyes burning with anger as he processed what had just been said. He turned sharply to Robin, his voice trembling with fury. " Wait a second you two went into Terra's room to use that device on her, didn't you? That's why you were there! You didn't trust her!"
Cyborg shifted uncomfortably, but before he could respond, Beast Boy's eyes flashed with betrayal. "You've been planning this all along! You wanted to control her, and now she's gone—because you didn't trust her!"
Robin stepped forward, his voice firm but calm. "Beast Boy, listen—"
"No, you listen!" Beast Boy shouted, his emotions boiling over. "You don't get it! I know Terra, and she wouldn't have betrayed us! If you'd just trusted her, maybe none of this would've happened!"
Without another word, Beast Boy shifted into a falcon and took off, bursting through the Tower's doors and flying into the night. His wings cut through the air as he soared above the city, determined to find Terra on his own.
Back in the Tower, the remaining Titans stood in silence, the gravity of the situation sinking in.
Robin's expression hardened. "We need to move fast. Madame Rouge was a distraction, but she's working with Blackfire. We have to assume Blackfire has Terra—and now Starfire."
Cyborg nodded grimly. "We need a plan. And we need to find them before it's too late."
But as they prepared for what lay ahead, one question lingered: Had they pushed Beast Boy too far?
The Tower's once familiar walls now felt heavy with uncertainty as the remaining Titans gathered around the control console, trying to pull together a plan that felt more like a desperate gamble. Blackfire, on her own, had always been a formidable enemy—a ruthless power-hungry warrior from Tamaran. But now, with the addition of Madame Rouge, a psychotic assassin capable of shape-shifting and near-invincible hand-to-hand combat, the odds were stacked against them.
The room was thick with tension, and everyone knew it.
"Maybe that's it," Raven said, breaking the silence. Her voice was calm but focused, as if she had been working through this for a while. "We need to get help from some of the others."
Cyborg shot her a skeptical look, his mechanical eye whirring as it zoomed in on her. "Yeah, like who? The Justice League? I don't suppose you've got Batman on speed dial, do you, Robin?" he asked with a trace of sarcasm, folding his arms.
Robin shook his head, more out of frustration with himself than anything else. "No, that's not what she means, Cyborg." He sighed, pushing a hand through his hair. "Raven's talking about the other Titans. Titans East. Or maybe even others."
Raven nodded. "Exactly. We've got allies spread out across the country. We don't have to face this alone."
Robin took a breath, thinking quickly. "It's a good idea. I could send a distress signal to Titans East. But the problem is, they're not always on standby, especially this late at night. We might not get a response right away. In the meantime, someone needs to go after Beast Boy."
The words hung in the air, and in an instant, there was a chorus of groans as both Robin and Cyborg quickly backed out.
"Not it," Robin said, his voice loud and clear, raising his hand.
"Not it," Cyborg echoed, throwing his hands up in mock surrender. His grin said it all—there was no way he wanted to track down an emotional, angry Beast Boy, especially after the argument earlier.
Raven groaned, crossing her arms and shooting them both a dark look. "Fine," she said, her voice dripping with irritation. "But I want a month's vacation after this." She rubbed her temple, clearly not thrilled at the idea of playing therapist to an enraged, reckless Beast Boy in the middle of his meltdown.
Cyborg chuckled. "Hey, at least you've got the patience for it, Rae."
Raven glared at him, her eyes narrowing. "Yeah, patience… sure."
With a quick, sharp breath, Raven cast a teleportation spell, her form fading into shadow as she phased through the walls of the Tower to go after Beast Boy.
