Chapter 3: Arc of the Azure Bear

Two young men were standing in a forested area. One blonde haired man wears a black short-sleeved hoodie with detached reddish-orange sleeves. Covering his hoodie is a white diamond-shaped chest plate cut off above his lower abdomen, and placed over his shoulders are a pair of white spaulders with rerebraces set under them. Below, he wears blue jeans with a white patch placed on the left knee and black sneakers. The hoodied young man turned to the other.

The other, a fellow blonde, was dressed in a light blue shirt with a dark brown leather vest, a pair of tan cargo pants, white sneakers, and a black baseball cap that was turned backward, allowing some of his blonde hair to spill through the hole of the cap. On his back, a massive spade shaped shield with two arcs recently painted on them.

"Hey."

"Yeah?" The other turned to him.

"You ever wonder why we're here?"

"It's one of life's great mysteries. Why are we here? I mean, are we the product of some cosmic coincidence, or are there really Two Brother Gods watching everything? You know, with a plan for us and stuff. I don't know, man, but it keeps me up at night."

The first young man looked at the second in confusion before saying, "What? I mean, why are we here. In this forest."

"Huh? Oh, uh…"

"What was all that stuff about the Brother Gods?"

"Oh, nothing."

"You wanna talk about it?"

"Mm, no."

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah."

The duo remained quiet for a little while until the first spoke, "So, we're getting close to the train station, right?"

"Yeah, we're almost there, bro." The second replied as they brought up a map that they carried from their backpack.

"Good. Because we've been walking for two hours and haven't seen any civilization ever since we left home." He said, before a pause as he spoke again, "I gotta ask… why did we leave home?"

"Don't you remember, Orion? My family doesn't think I'm capable of being a huntsman like dad or mom," the boy sighed before looking determined. "So that's why I'm going to prove them wrong!"

"Jaune. You literally dragged me out of bed, took Crocea Mors from the fireplace, and then led us through the forest to take a train all the way to Vale. So, excuse me if I'm not exactly fully conscious nor care about your plight at the moment." Orion said dryly.

"When you put it so bluntly…" Jaune faltered a bit before shaking his head. "Anyway, I'm still miffed that you are still not going full strength at me. How am I supposed to learn when you keep holding back?"

"Bro, strength is not the only thing that matters in a fight. Don't forget you got some brains that can outsmart any brawn."

"Easy for you to say!"

"Really? So, figuring out right away that Saphron was dating Terra when she brought her over to the house for dinner, wasn't using your brain?" Orion raised an eyebrow with an amused smirk.

"I mean, it was really obvious." Jaune admitted.

"Then there was the time you aced the majority of your classes before we decided to head out on this crazy journey?" Orion continued.

"I mean…"

"And there's also-"

"Okay, okay! I see your point!" Jaune interjects. "Anyway, I think I see the station down that hill."

Orion took a look and smirked as Jaune continued. "If we take our time, we should be able to make it down safely and- why are you smiling? … No, Orion, no! We are not-"

Orion grabbed Jaune in one arm and jumped. Placing his shield on his feet, the rim of the shield glowed purple with gravity Dust as he began surfing down the hill.

"If you're going to be a Huntsman, you need to handle your bro's Shield Surfing!" He laughed as Jaune screamed.

"I hate you so much!" He screamed with anime tears rolling down as they surfed down the hill.

In another portion of the forest, a young girl with wavy black hair and amber eyes was sitting on a rock. She was wearing a black, buttoned vest with coattails and a single silver button on the front. Underneath this is a white, sleeveless, high necked, crop undershirt and tight white spandex compression shorts that reach her upper thighs. She also wears black low-heeled boots and full stockings with a color gradation of black to purple at her ankles. On her left arm is a black detached sleeve with a silver cuff around her bicep, and black ribbons are wrapped around both forearms. A small, loose, black scarf is wrapped around her neck, and a gray magnetic backpack is strapped to her back, hidden by her hair.

Soon, a man with auburn hair and two blackened horns approached her. His eyes were covered by a white mask with red markings. He wore an asymmetrical black, long-sleeved, double-breasted stylized high-collared blazer with slit sleeves along with red thorn sigils adorned with a white crest that lined up on his left shoulder. His suit jacket had crimson lining atop his red shirt, with red thorn sigils atop a black flap attached to the bottom of the left hem and his wilting rose emblem on the back over an emblazoned white sigil resembling the curved stems and flower of the deadly nightshade plant. His blazer was half-buttoned, exposing a red shirt with a black line running parallel to his collar under it. He wore long black dress pants, black shoes with red soles and black gloves with red sigils.

"Blake, it's time." The man said, holding his katana close by.

Blake gave a sigh, and stood up looking at him and said simply, "Okay."

Back with the brothers, they both were able to make it to the station.

"Whew, we made it in time, not a bad way to easily arrive right, bro?" Orion said, turning around.

Jaune was giving him a glare, his blonde hair all frazzled. Orion chuckled as the two headed inside to purchase a ticket.

Minutes later, they were on the train awaiting departure. "Orion, if I have said it once I'm saying it a hundred times: Stop taking me Shield Surfing."

"Ah, relax, buddy, we made it in one piece, right?" Orion chuckled, "Besides, would you prefer riding my ATV instead?"

"I trust you less riding on your Bear Rover, than your Shield Surfing." Jaune shuddered, thinking back. He was screaming like a girl as Orion was laughing, driving an high tech blue colored ATV that had a Bear's head attached to the front.

Orion chuckled at that, before looking out the window. Seeing the many autumn-colored leaves pass by made him sigh, his hand instinctively going towards a necklace around his neck, where a wooden carving of a Bear resided.

"…Do you ever miss them?"

"Who?"

"The family. Er, your birth family." Jaune reiterated. This made Orion chuckle.

"Well… I have no doubt they will head to Beacon." Orion said, smiling. "But nothing will ever make me regret being adopted that day your parents found me."

This made Jaune smile as Orion continued, "Besides, someone has to look after you and make sure you don't embarrass yourself."

"What're you talking about? I won't embarrass myself!"

"Those footy pajamas in your bag say otherwise."

"What's wrong with them?! They're comfortable."

"They're a good way to lose dignity. And don't get me started on your pickup lines..."

Within the caboose of the train, one of the train's staff workers was on her knees clutching her chest and breathing heavily. The worker was a Faunus, evidenced by the woman's sharp rows of teeth.

"W-What did you give me?!" The worker looked up, staring at a mysterious man. The man in question is tall and well-built with red eyes, pale skin, and light brown short spiky hair. His face is covered almost completely by a surgical mask. As his outfit resembled a doctor's; being that of a white coat over a white shirt and striped vest. He also wears a pink bow tie and dark pants. On the left shoulder was an emblem of APEX, while the right was a snake head biting into a vial.

"It's simple, my dear," the man said as he knelt down in front of her, "I have given you a shot of adrenaline so that you use your newfound power."

"P-Power?" She asked, groaning as her aura darkened.

"Mhm, now think, what do you despise most?"

"T-This whole train! It… they keep mocking me, but I can't even quit this job! I HATE IT! I HATE THEM ALL! THIS ENTIRE TRAIN SHOULD JUST BREAK!" The worker ranted angrily as her aura completely blackened.

"Yes, the negative emotions you have are merging with the Dark Sphere perfectly, evolving you." As the man explained, he stood up as the worker's shadow revealed her body growing more monstrous as she gave a low growl. "This will prove to be a good experiment."

(Insert BGM: From Shadows Trailer version)

Meanwhile, Blake and Adam run through the forest until they reach a cliff, peering down to see the train rushing through the forest along some tracks.

Adam and Blake slide down the hill and jump onto the top of the train, digging their weapons into the roof as they land. Upon boarding it the two jump onto another car, Adam slashes at a hatch before lifting it as they enter a car full of AK-130 Androids.

"Looks like we're gonna be doing this the hard way." Adam said, half-jokingly, as the Androids activate and circle the duo.

"Don't be so dramatic." Blake told her partner while she kept a hand on her weapon.

An Android activates the guns on its arms, before speaking. "Intruder, identify yourself."

Adam responds by firing his sword, dashing behind to shoot it's head off then cutting the Android in two. The rest deploy blades and he and Blake proceed to completely dominate the Androids in the car. Eventually, Adam kicks one and they burst out of the freight car onto a flatcar and encounter a horde of Androids running towards them.

"Let's do this."

They decimate the horde and enter into a second freight car. Adam then opens a box and examines the contents inside.

(BGM END)

"Perfect. Move up to the next car. The charges will have already been set."

"What about the crew members?" Blake asks.

"What about them?" Adam replies coldly.

Suddenly the entire train shook from an explosion, taking the two by surprise. Blake slowly turned to see a few cars behind them had exploded into flames.

"Who set off those charges?!" Adam shouted into an earpiece. "We have not cleared the train yet!"

{"Sir! It wasn't us!"}

"What?!"

"Adam?" Blake said anxiously, as Adam looked up and turned.

"What in the…"

What had shocked the duo was an Atlesian Spider Drone getting ripped apart by a hulking beast with sharp fangs. The creature was pulling and chomping the struggling machine's face, until it couldn't move anymore.

Jumping over to where the two were showed the creature in all its glory. It was a large humanoid shark that had a feminine build. Leathery skin covered her body as she flexed webbed fingers and toes. Covering her more ample parts was a mixture of markings and torn clothing, chains wrapped around her wrists and around her waist like a sash. A long tail and fin stuck out as she bared rows upon rows of sharp teeth. This was the Shark Alter.

"MUST… BREAK… TRAIN…" The Shark Alter growled, shocking the two.

"This creature speaks?!" Blake exclaimed as she readied herself. Adam narrowed his eyes beneath his mask, before noticing that the Spider Drone's main weapon was still functional.

"Buy me some time." Adam said, grabbing his sword. Blake nodded and began shooting, causing the beast to snarl.

Orion was humming, leaning against the door to the bathroom as the sound of someone puking their guts out came from it.

"Ugh… why is it always me…" Jaune moaned, before retching again.

"Told you that you needed to pack Dramamine." Orion remarked, before a glow came from his pocket. "Hang on bud; gotta take this."

"Hurry back… ulp!" Jaune kept on retching as Orion walked away. After a few minutes of finding a safe spot, the blonde pulled out an Aura Sphere that was blue and held a golden bear inside.

"What's going on, Bear?" Orion asks.

"We've got trouble… I'm sensing an Alter on the train."

"Damn…" Orion cursed. "We better take care of it quickly."

He ran towards the back of the train but stopped in front of the restroom Jaune was in. "Hey, I'll go check to see if they have any Dramamine in the back of the train. See ya!"

"What?! Wait, don't leave me! ORION-ULP!"

Blake was sent rolling across the ground, quickly recovering and jumping to dodge the Alter's bite. Blake kept moving, playing a dangerous version of cat and mouse, narrowly avoiding fangs and claws. Adam took aim and fired round after round at the broken drone, hoping to hit his mark. Soon enough, the bullets managed to hit the chest of the machine, causing it to spark.

The spark caused the cannon to fire directly at Adam. The man grinned, unsheathing his weapon and absorbing the gigantic beam. Adam chuckled as his entire body coursed with energy, turning around.

Blake immediately saw this as the Alter clawed at her. When it seemed that she was badly injured, she had dispersed into wisps of shadows, as the real Blake slashed it from behind.

The Alter staggered forward as Adam was in front of it. Drawing the blade from his sheath, he unleashed the energy he absorbed in a devastating slash, cutting into the monster.

"That… Hurt…" The Shark Alter mutters, black ichor began to bleed from the wound as she staggered backwards.

"Well, if it bleeds then it can be killed." Adam commented, sheathing Wilt back into Blush as Blake stood beside him.

"Sorry, but I'm gonna have to ask you guys not to kill that Alter." A voice called out. The three turned to see Orion walking towards them. "Not that I'd expect you to kill one."

"Who?! What do you mean by…" Blake trailed when she saw the Black Ichor slowly receding back into the Alter's chest. The wound began to slowly close up, much to the shock of Adam and Blake.

"Ah… feel better…" The Alter growled, patting its chest.

"Impossible!" Adam stared in shock.

"That was your strongest attack! Yet how…" Blake adds. The Alter roared and grabbed both of them and threw them. They rolled across the cart and struggled to recover as they slid to where Orion was.

"Their Auras are incredibly high, making them real monstrous tanks," Orion said, looking at them, "so kudos for damaging it to that extent."

The two looked at Orion, who noticed Blake and Adam held his head in pain. He was in a daze until the Alter gave a powerful roar. Soon the sound of buzzing filled the air, as giant wasp Grimm known as Lancers began flying in.

"Did that thing just summon Grimm?!" Blake said in shock.

"Ugh, yeah. It looks like it's going to be a tough one." Orion said, cracking his neck and knuckles before walking past the two.

"Hey!"

"Idiot… planning to get yourself killed, human?" Adam scoffed.

"I have no intention of dying… not while I have a promise to keep." Orion smirked, drawing a belt buckle from his vest. Much like Aaron's and Kuromu's, except it had the face of a bear as he placed it on his waist.

AURA DRIVER!

"A belt buckle?" Blake tilted her head as she wondered what Orion meant by 'promise'. Orion smiled as he pulled out his Aura Sphere.

"Let's go, Ursa."

"Understood. We shall crush the enemy with our strength." The blue sphere blinked with each word spoken. The two stared in disbelief at Orion's sphere, which he inserted into an open maw.

AURA SPHERE LINKED! BEAR! SNARL!

The Sphere flared up, as a few Lancers charged at them. Suddenly a paw made of blue aura clawed through them. The paw came from Orion's aura animal, a giant blue bear that growls at the Alter and Grimm. Orion grinned, pounding his fist against his chest before pointing at them.

"Henshin!" He pushed the handle, causing the maw to close down and the Sphere to glow brightly. The Bear hugged Orion and engulfed him in light.

TOMERARENAI WARRIOR! AZURE BEAR!

He was clad in a full black bodysuit similar to Aaron and Kuromu. He had an azure blue chest plate that was a bit bulkier than his body with a blonde furred collar, azure-white knight styled shoulder guards. He also sported dark blue and gold forearm gauntlets with bulky armor in the shape of bear claws. Next was azure and white boots with gold claws on the toes. Finally, he wore a black helmet with a blue 'mask' that resembled the head of a bear with a V-shaped green visor and a gold mouthplate that resembled the grill visor on a medieval knight's helmet.

"Kamen Rider Azure." Orion declared, walking towards his enemies. "Strength is in my resolve."

(BGM Start: Serious Steel by Masaru Yokoyama)

"BREAK HIM!" The Alter commands, pointing as the Grimm flew at him. The Lancers began using their stingers, which merely sparked off Orion's armor.

"Heh, kinda tickles." Orion chuckled in amusement, before delivering a few punches that smacked the wasp Grimm easily. A few were sent into the ground with a splat as others recovered.

"That armor…" Blake stared in awe and disbelief.

"Is strong." Adam finished, gripping his weapon tightly. The Lancers grew annoyed as they began swarming the Rider, hoping to overheat him with their wings.

"Okay, now these are getting annoying. Time to really swat these pests." Orion growled, holding his hand out. The aura spiked and formed a handle that he grabbed and swung, sending many of the Grimm flying.

When the aura faded, Orion was holding a machete styled sword. The handle looked extendable as mechanisms covered the spine of the blue colored blade.

URSA BREAK-AX!

Orion began charging at the remaining Lancers. He swung left and right, cutting through the Grimm like butter.

"Come on, you bumblebees!" Orion taunted as he slashed a few more, "I can do this all day!"

"BREAK YOU… AND THEN THE TRAIN!" The Alter roared as she dove forward. But instead of hitting the ground, the Alter began swimming as if the train was water. A massive fin came out and charged straight at Orion whilst his back was turned.

Blake saw this and, whether instinct or worry, she shouted, "Behind you!"

The blue Rider heard the warning then twisted the handle of his weapon which caused the blue blade to fold back over the mechanism until it morphed into a large ax.

AX MODE

"Nice try!" Azure declared as he spun on his heel then swung his transformed weapon to the surface of the train just as the Alter's fin was mere inches away from him. This caused an explosion of water, as the altar was sent soaring into the air before flopping like a fish on the open cart.

The Alter got up and roared, lunging at Azure. He brought up the arm holding his ax as the monster bit into it.

'Idiot. Not only are you losing your weapon but also your arm as well.' Adam thought, smirking. But his smirk faded when he saw that the teeth were not even denting Orion's armor.

"What's the matter, Guppy, too hard to chew?" Orion jokes, flexing his fist and rearing back, "Well let's see you chomp on this!"

After shaking his arm out of the monster, he sent out a left punch directly into the Shark Alter's mouth. The Alter staggered back, opening its mouth to reveal its teeth were shattered to bits.

"Woah…" Blake muttered in awe, as the Alter growled. Its broken teeth fell out as newer, more sharper teeth took their place.

Suddenly, the buzzing returned even louder than ever before. Orion looked up, noticing the silhouette coming down.

"Of course, you can't face the drones without facing the queen." Orion said, as the Lancers descended with a much larger one that possessed seven overlapping plates, sharper antenna, a bigger abdomen, and more angular wings. This was the Queen Lancer, and it was not happy that Orion cut through nearly half of her hive.

"BREEAAAAAAK!" The Alter roared, causing the Lancers and Queen Lancer to fly at him.

"Sorry, Grimm, but this train doesn't have room for you or Alters." Orion smirked, removing his Aura Sphere and slowly inserting it into the ax handle itself.

SOUL CHARGE!

Blue and gold electricity began to spark and crack over the edge of the ax blade as the blue Rider brought his weapon up over his head then pulled the trigger on the handle.

AZURE BREAK IMPACT!

"DOORRRRYAAAAH!" Orion yelled as he swung down, creating an explosion of electricity and slash waves. The slashes and electricity carved through the Grimm like butter as the Alter covered her arms.

Blake and Adam were in awe at how much damage the Rider was dealing. Each attack seemed to leave deeper marks on the monster's leathery skin.

"It hurts… it hurts!" The Alter groaned as it staggered and spasms from residual volts of electricity coursing through it. One more roar came from it, as it dove back into the train and rushed at Orion.

"Had enough, did ya? Well then, let's finish it then!" Orion declared, dismissing his weapon and grabbing the handle of his Driver. Pushing and pulling, the Bear's eye crackled with blue and yellow electricity flowed out from it.

BITE!

Orion chuckled as he stretched his arm, letting energy and Aura coat his fist. He then delivered a punch to the ground, causing the energy to form azure bear claws that sprouted from the cart like zombie hands.

The Alter roared as it was smacked into the air by one of these claws as if she was a salmon. Orion looked up as four Bear claws formed underneath him, boosting into the air. Soon he was above the Alter with his right leg up, the energy and Aura building around it.

URSA BREAKDOWN!

"You are outta here!" Orion shouts, delivering an ax kick to the Alter's head. The kick pushed further, sending the monster spinning rapidly to the train cart. Orion spun and landed, looking up to see the Shark Alter stagger up.

"In the end… what got broke… WAS ME!" The Shark Alter gave one last defiant roar, before falling backwards and then…

*KA-BOOM!*

(BGM End)

An explosion went off as Orion held up a ring. "All right, Capture Ring, let's catch a big one." He said, as the Dark Sphere flew towards it and created a bright light. Looking at the completed Sphere, it was cyan in coloration with a shark inside. "Ha! Welcome to the team Sharky!"

The sphere flashed, and the sound of bubbles and splashing came from it.

"That was relatively a cathartic experience." The Buckle's eye flashes blue as it spoke.

With a nod, he removed his Aura Sphere and closed the Driver, changing back.

"Whew! That was pretty fun." Orion commented as he casually tossed his newly acquired Aura Sphere into the air then caught it with ease. "Well, better get this girl back inside, and back to my puking brother."

Orion walked over to the unconscious girl, only to face a red blade pointing at his face. Looking up revealed Adam to be holding his sword at him.

"Sorry, human, but we have questions. You're coming with us." Adam said sternly.

"A shame, because I don't recall taking orders from terrorists."

"We are not terrorists!"

"So, you weren't going to blow up the train filled with passengers just to spite the SDC?" Orion pointed out, dryly.

"They deserve it!" Adam retorted. "Anyway, you have some explaining regarding that armor and how that woman became a monster!"

"Sorry, that's a trade secret!" Orion said, leaping over Adam and Blake, landing on the cart ahead of them. Lifting his shield, he aimed for the train's coupling. "I'd love to stay and chat, but I think this is your stop!"

He slammed the shield into the coupling, breaking it and watched as Blake and Adam's half separated.

"We can't let him get away!" Adam angrily exclaimed, turning to see Blake throw her weapon in its whip configuration.

The whip hit near Orion's foot, causing him to jolt in surprise.

"Blake?"

"… Goodbye, Adam."

Before the masked Faunus could get a word in, Blake had already left Adam behind and landed on the passenger cart alongside Orion.

"Uh, what just happened?" Orion pondered, confused.

"I think this girl renounced loyalties with the White Fang." The Sphere remarked.

"H-How did you know what I was thinking?" Blake asked, a bit unnerved by the sphere talking.

"My dear, I was created from Aura, the manifestation of the soul. I can sense when someone's own soul is troubled." The Sphere explained.

"It's a quirk of an Aura Sphere." Orion chimed in. "But that still begs the question: What to do with you?"

"I…" Blake paused, before opening her mouth to speak.

"Ugh… I'm going to kill Orion…" Jaune said, slowly crawling out of the bathroom as he tried to settle his stomach. "I bet he's laughing at my expenses again!"

When he turned a corner, he saw Orion sitting with some Dramamine.

"Found it." Orion smiled brightly.

"What kept you? Playing Casanova or something?" Jaune asked.

"Oh please, bro, you think of me in that light?"

"Yes, yes I do." Jaune said, as his mind flashed back to many times a girl would either swoon or want to talk to Orion.

"Don't be jelly just because I got more game than you." Orion teased as he messed with Jaune's hair.

Jaune pouted as he took the Dramamine, letting Orion be left to his thoughts.

'You're thinking about the Alter right?' His Aura Sphere spoke in his mind.

'Yeah, they've been more active than before.' Orion confirmed in his thoughts. 'And considering we transformed means they're onto us again.'

'Ah~, I see that's not the only thing you're thinking about…'

Flashback

"I…" Blake paused, before opening her mouth to speak, "I wanted Faunus to have a better life… but not in the way that the White Fang is doing it."

Orion nodded in understanding, "Okay, and how exactly are you going to accomplish that? You went the route of the White Fang but that turned into a mistake."

"… Beacon Academy. I can apply there to start." Blake said, before sighing. "You think I'm fighting for selfish reasons, don't you?"

"The issue isn't if it's selfish or not." Orion said with a smile. "The question you need to ask yourself is 'do you have the resolve to see it through'?"

"Resolve?"

"My strength comes from my resolve to stop those who continue to make monsters."

Blake looked down in thought as Orion continued, "Think it over. We are going to the same place, after all."

"You are going to Beacon?"

"Yep, looking to be a Huntsman and the best one ever." Orion boasted. He heard groaning and noticed the unconscious girl that had once been an Alter. "In the meantime, I better get her inside."

Flashback End

'Nevertheless, as long as APEX is still running havoc, our duty as Kamen Riders will continue.' Orion thought. He looked over at Jaune, who was slowly recovering from his motion sickness. 'Plus there were those flashes and voices I heard…'

His thoughts then recalled the words he heard, specifically when he laid eyes on Blake herself:

'The same company, infamous for its controversial labor forces and questionable business partners.'

'Unfortunately, the real world isn't the same as a fairy tale.'

'Well maybe we were just tired of being pushed around!'

He closed his eyes and let his thoughts return to now. 'Maybe the others might know what is happening…'

Adam frowned, staring at the slowly disappearing train. A few White Fang Members had arrived on the scene, looting whatever they could get their hands on. One of the members walked up to Adam.

"Sir, should we follow after Blake?" The grunt asks.

"No," Adam shook his head, "Let her figure out herself how humans are."

He then turned around to walk away. "Besides, we need to research further into the existence of these Alters and anything regarding… Kamen Riders."

Meanwhile, in the forest, the doctor from before had witnessed the battle on the train via a drone. He watched as Orion cut through the Grimm and fought the Alter before defeating it.

"Tch, again the Kamen Riders impede our efforts." The doctor clicked his tongue in annoyance.

"It makessss no difference, ssssince they provide more battle data." The Doctor pulled out a black Sphere that held a Snake inside it.

"Indeed Snake, they'll soon regret ever crossing us."

"On that, we agree, Doctor Snyder." A voice caused the Doctor to turn. Stepping out of the trees was the commander and Koa, who giggled and skipped.

"Ah, my dear commander. Seeing as how you are here with our Atlas Alpha, means that we're mobilizing at last?" The doctor said with a smile.

"Fufu yup! It's going to be a big party!" Koa giggled excitedly.

"Come, the Master expects all the division leaders. No matter what those riders do, our goal remains the same." The woman turned and walked back into the forest. "Glory to APEX."

The two placed their right hands against their chests before making a claw with their lefts.

"GLORY TO APEX!" They declared before following, Koa skipping and Snyder walking with his hands behind his back.

GKC: And with that the chapter ends!

KRD: And after that, Volume 1 will truly begin.
