Chapter 15:

*static*

"-Entry Log: 164, Dear Diary, I have been studying the data in the suit I made for the alien traversal I had but can't seem to establish a connection to the coordinates of the bun- *static* theater. That glowing box, it had so many weapons that could be useful for *static. It became the most powerful of the shinobi world! I'm not sure how, but I feel... no... I know that I'll see that box again! I plan, too. The weapons in that box... I feel it gives a random weapon from a random time. I NEED to find that bix again, the technological marvels that I could uncover there would be if great use."

*static*

*static*

"OK, we're here now. What is it you wanted us to see?"

"So, Lord Orochimaru is proud to announce that the Matter Transf- *static* -ready for field use! To prove it, Orochimaru himself will teleport to the mainframe from- *static* "

"You're joking that's on the other side of the fire nation. Plus, we specifically asked you to -"

"Oh shut up, Danzo! You're lucky you're here after the stunt with the Hyu- *static* I'll have you removed. Understand me?

"Hai, Lord Hokage.."

"Good, so let's see it."

*sounds of a radio being turned on*

"Are you ready, my lord?"

"Yes, Anko, everything is linked up! I'm teleporting in 3...2...1..."

*machinery and electricity whirring, then a poof as heard*

"What the!?"

*someone whistling is heard*

"Kukukuku, as you can see, I've nearly perfected the teleportation process,"

"That is very neat. I'm impressed! We could set up hidden outposts around the nations to -" *static*

"Impressed enough to increase funding and expand research?"

"Absolutely old friend. What do you need?"

"I need a bit more funding, some of Konoha *static* RND scientists to assist in my research, and of course more ele-"

Present:

Naruto was running through the flaming streets of the wave the wave. As red slit eyes helped his vision in the heavy mist as he scanned his surroundings. He came to a stop as he saw a figure walking towards him. "Well, hello there!" As the figure walked closer, he noticed the red glow of undead eyes coming from the figure. "Oh, and here I thought you we- woah!" He ducked as a huge sword flew over his head. He looked over to the corpse that walked towards him and recognized it as Zabuza's. He was still in shock at the fact that an undead had the strength for such ability. "That wasn't nice. I don't need your opinions!" He said to the corpse before it looked like he replied to... someone?

"Kkiiiiiiiarrrghhhhl meeeeeee preeeeeeeeee," the corpse responded before it charged towards Naruto. Instinctively, red chains burst out of Naruto's chest and impaled Zabuza, who turned to water. Before he could react to the revelation of a walking corpse using jutsu, another Zabuza clone appeared from the mist and swiped at him. Naruto saw the blow coming but wasn't fast enough to react as a bony decayed hand punch him in the face, sending him skidding across the street. "Now that's cheating!" Another Zabuza appeared and kicked the blonde. Naruto took the kick to grab the leg that made contact and swung the body into another clone, dispersing them both. 2 more clones appeared, swords were drawn and attempted to cleave him in half. The predictability of a turned Zabuza is what allowed Naruto to use his chains to grab each sword before destroying them, causing the rest of the water clone to be destroyed as well. Naruto scanned the mist around them, waiting for more to appear. However, just as quickly as the mist appeared, it started to lift. "Uh? Hello? I wasn't DONE yet!"

"MAX AMMO!"

Naruto heard the demonic voice and tilted his head in confusion. He took a step and noticed his once empty kunai pouches were now full, along with the magazines of the gun he chucked at the undead bastard. He looked down the alley and spotted it on the ground. He pointed an open palm at the weapon and a red chakra chain shot out and wrapped itself around the handle before the chain retracted back into the palm of his hand. The weapon had a medium-sized barrel that had holes around it, and a wooden shoulder brace, 'PPSH-41' was engraved in a small corner of the stock. He clicked a button and reached into his bag, pulled out a round magazine, and reloaded. "Well, good thing I didn't leave you behind! I love dismembering with you, hehehe!" He looked up and noticed a blue beacon of light stretching all the way up to the clouds above the land of waves. "Now, isn't that curious?" The blonde stated before he started running towards the light.

The mist cleared up, and the other four were racing towards the beacon. Still shaken up about the possibility of the turned Zabuza frightened them. Satsuki's eyes darted in every direction, already taking advantage of the Sharingan of being able to see everything in greater deal. However, not having been used to the chakra drain, the Uchiha, was limited to using it in spurts. Sakura held a white knuckle grip on her kunai and her firearm. She was taking deep breaths to steel her emotions after neatly having herself get eaten, trying to save her sensei. Speaking of Kakashi, he was leading the squad to the beacon. He had hoped that his student was the cause of the light or that he would head towards it. The corpses littered the roofs of the wave. 'Seems they learned that we're jumping roof to roof to get around. These things can learn, unfortunately.' He made everyone check their gear one last time before speaking. "We're gonna have to travel via the roads now. All roofs are overrun, " he stated. The 2 girls didn't like the idea of having to run through the streets, but they saw they had no choice. Haku was the first to drop down. In front to undead turned to look at him.

*BOOM BOOM*

Haku's Olympia destroyed the heads of his targets instantly before he appeared behind him. Before it could strike, Kakashi landed on top of it from the roof, driving his kunai straight through its head. The girls followed and dropped down as well. They started running towards the beacon. Bodies of men, women, and children littered the floors. All of them torn apart, misisng a good chunk off their body that was eaten away by the undead. Sakura blinked the tears away from her eyes as she focused on reaching the objective. Satsuki was only a little bit better. She refused to turn on her Sharingan, not wanting to capture the carnage in such detail. Kakashi and Haku faired better. Both of them had seen death multiple times. Kakashi has seen his comrades fall and the horrors of war. However, even those horrors didn't compare to this. 'What a damn mess! What have we gotten ourselves into?' Were the thoughts of Haku. It was still jaring the whole situation. They ran into a couple of shamblers that were easily dispatched. More started appearing, causing the trip to Satsuki, threw a fireball jutsu to a crowd of corpses, killing a good chunk and setting others on fire. She would then use her Colt to finish them off, causing them to explode and making nearby zombies fall as well.

It took about 5 minute till they reached the light and what they saw wasn't what they were expecting. It was a long wooden box sitting on top of a couple of cinder blocks. It had a latch that didn't have any kind of lock, and there was to question marks on top of it that also glowed. "A box?" Satsuki was confused. "It looks like it? How's it glowing?" Haku asked. Kakashi stared at the box and pondered on what to do next. "Look, there's writing on it." Sakura approached it and tried reading them. However, the text was too faded to read. She then went to open it, ignoring her sensei and teammates that they didn't know what was inside. She opened the box just as Kakashi grabbed her shoulder. He pulled her away and went for cover. However, instead they heard a jingle play.

Turning to look, everyone saw a bunch of weapons that they both recognized and could never hope to imagine. Suddenly, it stopped on a weapon, and it floated there, slowly descending back into the box. Sakura got up and went over to it. She hesitated for a bit before reaching out to claim her prize. It was heavy, that was for sure. She inspected the weapon and read the letters 'AK-74u' carved into the side of it. She tried her best to hold it in a correct and comfortable manner. "It seems that this box will randomly give us a weapon. And from what it seems from our time and some place else." Kakashi stated out loud. Before they could each test their luck. Satsuki called out.

"Guys! They're here!" She said in a panicked tone. Everyone turned around to see that more undead appeared and made their way towards them. Each brought out their weapon, but before they could fire, a bunch of shots rang out from the roof above into the horde. They looked up to see Naruto standing on top, firing wildly into the horde, tearing it apart, laughing maniacally as he did so. He weapon started to click, so he dropped down in the middle before a bunch of barbed chains erupted from him and started to flail everywhere, decimating the crowd. After all was sudden in done, everyone was covered in blood. Everyone stood in shock at how fast, and brutally, he took them all out. He slowly stood up and turned to look at them. Kakashi's breath got caught in his throat as he saw his students red slitted eyes. 'Damn, it's as I thought he's slowly being corrupted!' He thought to himself nervously.

Naruto cleared his throat and spoke in an unusually polite manner.

"Heh, pardon me for dropping in uninvited!"

New chapter up wouldve been up sooner but this stupid app keeps messing with my documents. Besides that hope you enjoyed let me know what you think. as i said this is my first story so constructive criticism helps a lot! I don't own Naruto or COD: Zombies!
