Today was like any other day for the Autobots, mostly like any other day. Everyone was just kinda standing around, nothing really to do since anything to do at the base had been done today. All that was left to do was watch some tv together. Currently on the tv was some Korean short show." Woah, how the hell did he do that? Is he really magical or something?!" Asked Whirl, getting really into the show right now.
"Oh definitely." Said Miko, just chilling next to Cayde and Raf as she watched the tv as well with them and mostly all the other Autobots.
Everyone seemed into the show, but the show would have been put on pause because of what Ratchet is about to say that will gain the attention of everyone." Optimus, you're not gonna believe this but I just discovered the location of the Decepticon war ship." Said Ratchet, showing the coordinates on the computer, along with an image of the ship.
Optimus and every Autobot in the base walked over to ratchet." How did you break through there cloaking tech?" Asked Optimus, wanting to know what his old friend to accomplish such a feat.
"That's the thing, I didn't. I was just experimenting with different wavelength frequencies and I just so happened to stumble upon the ship's coordinates. The Decepticons must be experiencing some system difficulty's if I was able to find their location." Ratchet explained to Optimus and everyone how he found the war ship's location and why he was able to find the ship.
This was good news to hear for everyone. With the location of the cons ship, there are so many options for them to do." With Megatron dead, and the element of surprise..." Arcee said, waiting for someone to finish her sentence.
"We can tear the cons and there ship apart." Said Grimlock, growling a bit as he said that. It's been so long since grimlocks killed something, the big guy really needs to get his hands on some cons soon.
Everyone was thinking similar things to what Grimlock said."Took the words right out my mouth Grim." Said Hound as he puffed his bullet cigar before blowing some smoke.
Ratchet didn't want to rain on the Autobots parade of murder thoughts, but the doc bot knew he had to." That's not all I picked up. I also found a Autobot emergency distress beacon here on earth." Said Ratchet, the coordinates the Autobot ship were shown on the computer.
Optimus being Optimus, chooses the other coordinates, not wanting to leave any autobot in the dust." The Decepticons can wait, there may be Autobots in distress. Ratchet, Bring your medical equipment. And Grimlock, this could be a trap, so I want you to join us. The rest of the team shall remain here till our return." Optimus wants to save any Autobots that may be still alive, but also wants to be prepared if this is a trap.
Grimlock wanted to argue with prime that it would more efficiently to send a team onto the Nemesis to cause some damage to the ship, but knowing the prime, he wouldn't allow it. So grimlock held his tongue for the time being.
With one quick groundbridge, the three Autobots ended up somewhere in a desert that was out in the middle of nowhere. They all spotted the crashed Autobot Vessel almost immediately." It appears to have been here for centuries, buried in this desert." Said Optimus as they all approached the ship.
Ratchets hand turns into a torch so he can cut a way inside of the ship so they may enter, but that would take a bit and Grimlock was not patient at all." Forget that!" Said Grimlock as he then punched the ship, creating a massive hole.
Ratchet and Optimus were a bit startled by this sudden action, but it was also expected knowing Grimlock. After a way in was made, Optimus and Ratchet walked on it. Not even a few seconds on the ship, it shook a bit.
Grimlock was about to step in the ship, but when he saw the ship rock a bit, Grimlock took a couple steps away from ship." I'll stay out here. Ship to weak for me Grimlock." Said Grimlock, standing around outside of the shop.
"It would be for the best Grimlock. Remain on guard out here. If we run into trouble, we will comm you." Said Optimus, agreeing with Grimlocks decision to remain outside of unsteady and weak ship.
So while Grimlock is just chilling outside of the ship, Optimus and Ratchet venture forth, searching for any signs of life." If any of them were placed into stasis then there might be some survivors Optimus." Said Ratchet, pitching some possible ideas.
The two walked up to a sealed door. Optimus forces the door wide open with a bit of force. After doing so, the two are immediately greeted by the site of many dead Autobots on the ground, Rusting like crazy. Optimus wishes this hadn't happened to these poor Autobots.
While Optimus was staring at the bodies, Ratchet did a quick scan of one of the bodies. What ratchet discovered shocked him to his core." Optimus! These Autobots were not killed because of the crash, but because of a Virus!" Ratchet backing away from the infected bodies and there pools of infected Energon.
Optimus narrowed his eyes a bit, staring at the bodies before remembering that he has seen something exactly like this before during the war on cybertron." We are in a plague ship. Ratchet, we need to leave immediately." Said Optimus, knowing that if they wish to remain alive and uninfected, then they need to roll out of here at once.
Before the two get the hell out of the death ship, the ship suddenly shook again. The two Bots stumbled
into a corner as to not accidentally touch any of the infected Energon. It worked, however, a noise from above caught the prime's attention. When Optimus looked up, he saw a corpse just hanging on the ceiling. The corpse leaked a couple drops of Energon and it landed right on the primes face, infecting him.
Ratchet is shocked and terrified by this." No..."
Meanwhile, outside of the ship. Grimlock was pacing around, feeling bored and the urge to fight someone was rising. But that bored feeling vanished when he saw prime and the doc bot walk out of the ship. Grimlock noticed that Ratchet seemed to be keeping his distance from prime." What's going on? What happened in there?" Asked Grimlock, wanting to know what the scrap is going on here.
"This ship is carrying a plague and Optimus got infected." Ratchet said with a somber and sad look.
Grimlock was surprised by this, never would he imagine that Optimus prime, leader of the Autobots, would catch a plague virus." Scrap..."

The plague had gotten worse for the prime when he had returned back to base and rested on a berth. Optimus's eye was flickering as rust was spreading very slowly on his body.
Everyone kept their distance while Ratchet Scanned the prime." It's just as I feared...Cybonic plague." Ratchet said, giving everyone a heads up on what it is they're dealing with.
This got worried looks from Everyone, well everyone who was a Cybertronian." The infection can only spread through touching the infected Energon." Ratchet informs the group, letting them know to stay clear of any Energon the prime might spill.
"What the hell was a plague virus doing on an Autobot ship?" Asked Miko, confused as to why a plague was on a Autobot ship of all ships.
"The poor bots probably got infected and were sent off before they could be helped." Said Jazz, thinking about how it might have happened and gave himself a slight shiver down his spine. It was not groove at all.
Nearly everyone in the room remembered the Virus. It destroyed millions of beings on cybertron, both Autobot and Cons." It killed a lot of people by on Cybertron during the Great War." Explained Arcee, giving out a bit of facts about what the virus accomplished during the war on cybertron.
"The plague was manufactured by the Decepticons when they tried using biological warfare to destroy the Autobots. It was personally created by Megatron himself." Ratchet said, pausing a bit to allow that information to sink into everyone who doesn't know about it.
Four people in the room had no idea about the plague. The fourth person was furious at the Decepticons and Megatron for using such a dishonorable battle tactic." More cowardly and dishonorable tactics created by megatron! How could I have ever followed such a disgraceful being!" Said Skyquake as he punched a wall. Skyquake has been lied to a lot by his old leader and finding new stuff everyday about what Megatron did causes Anger with the bot. Skyquake was quite pissed at the cons, Megs, and himself a bit right now.
"Yeah, Megatrons best known for being a mass murdering bucketheaded Asshole." Said Whirl as he pats Skyquake on the back.
Changing the subject to get them back on track, Raf speaks up."Is there a cure Ratchet?" Asked Raf, hoping there is one so prime can get all better and back to be healthy.
Instead of the Ratchet answer, it was Prime who answered Rafs question." No...cure." Optimus said weakly. Every minute goes by and the prime gets weaker and weaker.
This gave everyone despair and fleeting hope, But then Cayde spoke up." That makes no sense. If Megatron made this plague then wouldn't he have made a cure incase he got some on himself accidentally?" Cayde asked. If megatron was smart enough to create such a bio weapon then it would make sense that the warlord would have a cure incase he himself got infected.
That was true, but there is a slight problem with that." I don't know if you forget Cayde but Megatrons dead, pushing up lugnuts." Said Ironhide, reminding him and everyone else in the room that the warlord is dead.
"But, the cure might be somewhere in the Decepticon database. We still have the ship's coordinates." Said Ratchet, showing the coordinates of the Decepticon warship.
Grimlock knew what Ratchet was suggesting and immediately started to head for the ground." Ratchet, Activate the ground. Demolition force, prepare to move out." Grimlock said to his team, which now consisted of Whirl, Skyquake, and Arcee.
Ratchet Activated the groundbridge." Grimlock, hurry..." Ratchet told the big guy just as Grimlock and his team walked through the ground bridge.
Team Demolition force arrived on the other side of the groundbridge. They were now all aboard the Decepticon warship. Grimlock looked around a bit before turning to his team." First find the cure, then cause some damage." Said Grimlock as he then leads his team down a hallway.
Grimlock and his team remained as stealthy as they could while walking through the ship. Soon enough they spotted the Decepticons medic, Knockout, walking out of the lab room.
Knockout stopped for a bit, feeling like he was being watched...but then just shrugs off this feeling and walked away, going to find a certain partner of his." Hopefully breakdown isn't too busy." Said Knockout to himself as he left the area.
Once gone, the team made their way into the lab. Once there, Arcee went to the computer and began the search for the cure. While she did that, Grimlock looked at Whirl and Skyquake." Skyquake, we will guard the entrance. Whirl, search the lab for anything to make this place go boom." Ordered Grimlock, the two followed their bosses command, whirl was very eager to follow this command.
While the three did there tasks, Arcee continued to search for any information on the cure of the plague. And so far, nothing. This caused Arcee to bang her fist on the keypad in anger." There's no signs of a cure anywhere in here." Said Arcee to everyone and everyone on the comms.
Ratchet didn't like this one bit."Keep searching Arcee! The cure has got to be in there!" Ratchet yelled into the comms at Arcee.
Grimlock was about to tell Ratchet in the most polite way to never talk to Arcee like that again or something brutal will happen to him, but then Whirl spoke up, gaining everyone's attention." Holy fuck!! Guys!! Take a look at what I just found!!" Said Whirl, pointing at a door with a glass view on it.
Everyone began to walk over to see what whirl discovered." What did you fi-" Skyquake stops his sentence and like everything everyone else there, goes a bit wide eyed when seeing what whirl saw.
It was the one and only, Lord Megatron! Grimlock growls at this as the door opened and then walked in with his team." Ratchet, we found Megatron...he's alive but on life support. Not for long." Said Grimlock as he brings out his sword. As much as Grimlock would have preferred to tear megatron apart, limb from limb out on a battlefield, Grimlock knows that Megatron must be destroyed while there's a chance.
The whole team aims their weapons at Megatron, about to open fire, even Skyquake. Normally, Skyquake would find killing a foe while in stasis or on a medical berth on life support dishonorable, but megatron doesn't deserve a honorable death after everything he has done." Megatron, may you forever burn in the ant-all sp-" Skyquakes send off line was cut off by Ratchet.
"Wait! Do not kill Megatron just yet!" Ratchet said, causing the team to cease their attack attempt.
"Give us one good reason why Ratchet, and make it quick." Said Arcee, still a little ticked off at being yelled at earlier and for being stopped from killing megatron.
Instead of Ratchet speaking out, it was Cayde surprisingly. Him and the other teens moved over to be closer to the computers so they could hear better."Megatron is Optimus's only chance at survival. Arcee, is there any Brian activity at all?" Asked Cayde, wanting to know if there was any at all.
Arcee looked over at a monitor and it showed that there was quite a bit of brain activity." Spiking hard, his sick mind is still active." Said Arcee, glaring at the monitor.
Someone else decided to speak up as well, it was Que."Good, his mind ain't lost yet. Which means you and the lads can now find the cure...in Megatrons mind." Que said, surprising everyone with his words.
"Go into megatrons mind?! Are you three crazy?!" Asked Arcee, thinking that they are for asking them all to do that.
Ignoring what Arcee said, Ratchet went onto explain on how one of them will be able to go into megatrons mind." There should be some equipment there that should help you perform a cortical psychic patch." Said Ratchet.
Mostly everyone couldn't believe what they were hearing, Whirl actually stopped paying attention and started to get the Cortical Psychic Patch hooked up and ready while everyone was distracted." Ratchet, Que, have either of you use this thing before?" Asked Grimlock, wanting to know if they got experience with this.
Neither of them did." Sorry lad, But no. But it's not too complicated so it should work out okay. But now the question is, which of you will go?" Asked Que on the comms, wanting to know who will be the one to venture forth into the warlords mind.
Before anyone could volunteer so no one else had to, they all heard a thud sound behind them. They all quickly turn back and saw that whirl had connected himself and fell to the ground." Ratchet, whirl hooked himself up." Grimlock told Ratchet as he walked over to whirl and sets him up against the wall.
After that, Grimlock then looked at Arcee and Skyquake." Not a lot of places to hide in here...so no hiding, we fight anyone who comes here and keep them from reaching whirl, Even if we fight whole army." Said Grimlock as he brings out his sword.
Skyquake and Arcee both nodded a bit as they bring out their weapons as well. While the three remained on guard in front of the doors, Whirl was tripping major balls before finally arriving in megatrons mind." I so wanna do that again after this." Said Whirl as he started to walk around.
At the autobot base, all the Autobots and teens were able to see and hear everything on whirls end." Hey that looks just like Kaon. Of course Megatron would be dreaming of that place." Said Ironhide, glaring a bit at the visual of kaon.
After a bit of walking around, Whirl managed to come across someone he'd never thought he'd see in kaon, or the very least, the memory or dream of kaon. It was Optimus prime, who was just standing in the center of the area." Huh, I was half expecting to see you with your head on a thrown or a collar on your neck." Said Whirl as he walked up to the fake prime.
Suddenly, out of nowhere, Megatrons evil laugh could be heard. Whirl looked over and saw megatron just a few feet away from him and fake OP." Optimus prime, your Autobot army's are destroyed, bow before your new master." Ordered Megatron as he brings out his blade.
Fake Optimus turns to megatron and transforms his hand into blade." Never. One shall stand, one shall fall." Said fake Optimus as he got ready to charge at megatron.
Megatron simply smirked a bit." Why throw away your life so recklessly?" Asked Megatron. The warlord then quickly charged at Fake prime, Not even given him the time to reply back and ruining the reference.
With one quick slice, Fake Optimus was destroyed with ease and faded away in smoke.
Everyone back at the Autobot base were surprised by this a bit, but then they all remembered that this wasn't a memory." Buckethead wishes it were that easy to take down the boss." Said Hound, finding this to be a funny sad that Megatron has prime be so weak in his mind in order to win.
Megatron smiled a bit at this, but then his smile faded when he heard the sound of the most annoying being he has ever met." Wow, that was just rude buckethead. Didn't even let fake prime answer your silly question." Said whirl as he got in front of Megatron, now gaining the warlords full attention.
"You, I do not know how you got here, but I will make you pay for trespassing my domain is punishable by death!" Megatron immediately swung his blade at whirl, who just stood there. The blade goes right through whirl, not touching him at all.
This confused megatron who then decided to keep trying. All the failed attempts to kill whirl just made whirl laugh a bit." Oh I almost felt it that time!" Joked Whirl while laughing some more.
After a few more failed attempts to murder whirl, Megatron stopped. When he did, whirl also stopped laughing." Alright I'll cut to the chase buckethead. I'm in your mind thanks to things your cons made, which means you can't touch me." Said Whirl, trying to speed things up here.
So while Megatron process this and a few questions started to pop up in his head. Outside of the mind palace, Grimlock and the others were standing around, waiting for either the cons to find them, or for whirl to be ready to leave Megs mind.
But it seems like the first option is what will happen first. Starscream, Soundwave, and Knockout opens the door." I am simply suggesting we grant our master to be one with the al- AHHH!!" Starscream screams like a little bitch the moment he saw Grimlock, oh and the other two I guess.
Knockout also screamed but in a more gay way while Soundwave just stood there for a bit before speaking." Starscream, this is your fault somehow." Said soundwave before transforming to his land vehicle mode and drives off before he could get killed by Grimlock. Even Soundwave knows that Grimlock is the superior one between them.
Starscream and Knockout do the same, well starscream flies in jet mode." Cowards, but they know their limits at least." Said Skyquake, a bit disappointed there won't be any fighting.
Skyquakes secret wish came true as many Decepticons come rushing over and opens fire at the three Autobots. Grimlock brings out his shield and blocked the fire as he looked at Arcee." Arcee, be ready to unplug whirl when it's time. Kill anyone who gets past Me Grimlock or Skyquake." Said Grimlock as he charged at the Cons, Skyquake doing the same.
So while the two brutes tore the cons apart, body parts flying everywhere, Arcee waited near whirl, ready to pull the patch and get whirl out of there." Hurry up whirl, the whole ship will be on us soon." Said Arcee, wondering what's taking whirl so long.
Back in the mind of megatron, Whirl finished up his whole explanation as for why he's here and how to convince Megs to fork over to cure. This of course and also somehow at the time, works. Megatron opens his hand and makes the formula for the cure appear." Well played ex-wrecker, the chemical formula to manufacture a cure. Not that i expect you to understand it." Said Megatron, basically calling whirl a dummy.
Whirl wished he could flip off megatron, but he can't. Instead of trying to do that, he just reached out for the formula to take it, but then Megatron closed his hands." Hey! Why did you do that? I thought you wanted to kill the real Optimus?" Whirl said, wanting the cure back.
"Oh I very much do. But how can I do that when I am trapped in my own mind? I will give you the cure, only after I have been released from this place." Said Megatron, smirking a bit. He thinks he has all the cards, but in reality, megatron has nothing now.
Whirl just groans a bit, about to say ya to get this over with, but then everything started to vanish into smoke, Whirl included." Huh, guess I don't need your deal after all, see ya buckethead!" Said whirl as he waved goodbye.
Megatron was mad to say the least, he had been tricked." No! Take me with you! Take me!" Demanded Megatron as he reached out for whirls smoke, Turing into smoke himself.
Whirl soon came back to his body." Alright, I'm back! What did I miss?" Asked Whirl. Just as whirl asked that, the upper body of con flew past him.
Grimlock and Skyquake were Decimating the Decepticon forces, tearing them all apart. This made whirl a bit sad that he had missed all the con killing. Before Whirl could get up and join, a groundbridge appeared and was then shoved in by arcee." Grimlock, Skyquake! Time to go!" Said Arcee as heads on through the groundbridge.
The two brutes headed towards the groundbridge, Skyquake entering first. Grimlock was about to go through, but stopped and looked at Megatron. Grimlock could kill him here and now, but Grimlock didn't have the time as more cons were about to arrive, which would waste time that could be used to make a cure for prime. So the big guy just heads on through the groundbridge.
Later...
The cure had been created and injected into prime, the effects of the plague miraculously vanished instantly. Optimus got up, thanks to the help up Ratchet.
Everyone cheered and clapped for the prime's recovery." Please, reserve the hero's welcome for my physician. And for Demolition force." Said Optimus, motioning towards ratchet and grimlocks team.
The Autobots gave a round of applause for them. Whirl was about to take a bow, but then frozen up a bit. Something strange was happening to him, or should I say, within.
Inside of whirls mind, a certain warlord was there, having accidentally gotten himself trapped in whirls mind." I'm out...or should I say, in!" Megatron then laughed evilly from within whirls mind. This was not good...

It was a new day and the first to happen was a medical examine for the Prime, just to be sure that the plague is completely out of Optimus prime's systems, and that everything had recovered back to full health. Once the check up was complete and Ratchet satisfied, the doctor let the prime go." I am happy to report that any signs of the plague are indeed completely gone and everything is as it should be." Reported Ratchet with a small smile, happy that Optimus will be alright.
Optimus smiled slightly as he was let go and walked out of the chamber." Thanks to your medical expertise, old friend." Said Optimus.
Ratchet shook his head a bit, the good doctor can't take all the credit for this save." Wasn't just me Optimus, it was also Grimlocks team." Ratchet said as he looked back and spotted Grimlock with his team.
"We just killed Cons, whirl was one who went in Megatrons mind and find cure." Said Grimlock, giving a bit more of the credit to whirl.
Whirl of course, loved this." Aw boss, come on, you're gonna make me blush. Plus this will probably make Arcee jealous." Joked whirl, messing around a bit.
Arcee just rolled her eye a bit at whirl's antics." We were just lucky that Megatron was somehow still alive for us to even get the cure." Said Arcee, who can't believe she just said that.
The others looked at her and were thinking the same as her." Yeah, I can't believe I said that either." Said Arcee, letting them know she was with them.
While they all kinda just chat around a bit, Whirls optics flickered a bit before walking away from the group. Whirl then looked down at himself, moving his claws a bit, but it wasn't whirl, it was Megatron." Of all the bodies to get stuck in, why did it have to be this one?! But this is only temporary till I am able to figure out how reactive my body." Megatron said in whirls mind as he then decided to give up momentary control for now to try and remember what happened to him in the first place.
Time goes by and now whirl was in the training with with the rest of team Demolition force. In the room with them was Que, Cayde, and Miko. Miko was there to see stuff blow up and hang out with Cayde.
The two geniuses on the other hand, seem to have made some new weapons for the team to try out." Now remember, these are just prototypes, so if they blow up or not work, that's alright." Said Cayde as he took a few steps away from the selection of weapons.
The first one up was Arcee, she grabbed some duel blasters. But there was something strange with them. There was small blue crystals on them, Energon shards." Those are blasters fire small shards of Energon, exploding upon impact." Explains Cayde with a grin.
This got a bit of a worried looked from Arcee."Don't worry about it blowing up lass, we made sure it wouldn't before thinking of giving it out for testing." Explained Que, letting her know that those will not blow up if they fail to work.
Arcee sighed a bit and then decided to go with it and then aims the shard gun at a painted target on the wall and fired. One the shard hit the target, it made an explosion that damaged the wall quickly a bit, making a hole.
Everyone stared at the damage that gun did and were impressed to say the least." That was so cool!" Said Miko with a smile, amazed by the destruction that gun did.
"When will it be ready for the field?" Asked Arcee, wanting to know when she can start using it on some cons.
Cayde just shrugs a bit." Not sure, it would have to depend on how long it takes for me or Que to finish up the other weapons first." Said Cayde, pulling out a note pad and writes down that the shard blaster prototype was a success.
There was a few more weapons to go through. Whirl spotted one he liked and then grabs it." Ooo, what can this one do?" Asked Whirl as he inspected the weapon, getting his claw on the trigger of the gun.
"Oh that's a personal favorite of mine lad, it is called the chaos rift combustor. A grenade launcher that creates smaller and more grenades upon impact. It'll kick loads of ass." Said Que, feeling proud of himself and Cayde for this weapons creation. If it all goes well then they could perfect it and have it combat ready.
Whirl liked the sound of many explosions. Just as whirl was about to use it, Megatron took over whirls body and then aims the gun at the pile of weapons and then fired at them.
This confused everyone and caused some panic. Que quickly grabs Cayde and miko and ran away before the grenades could go off on the weapons.
Wanting to keep the explosion to a minimum, Grimlock got in front of the weapons, with his shield out and blocked the explosion, minimizing the blast.
The explosion wasn't too big but now there was a decently big hole where all the prototype weapons were. Cayde stared at the hole with his jaw dropped." I did half of those by myself and they took me weeks to make." Cayde said as he fell to his knees, saddened by the loss of his precious weapons of mass destruction.
Well at least two out of the other ones survived.
While miko comforts her crush over his loss of his creations, everyone looked at whirl as he regained himself. Whirl became confused when they all were staring at him." What? Why are you all staring at me?" Asked Whirl.
"You just destroyed our friend's creations and you ask us why we stare? Have you lost your mind whirl?" Asked Skyquake, not out of anger or trying to be a dick, but out of curiosity cause what whirl did was somewhat out of character.
Whirl rubs his head a bit before looking at the creator where the weapons used to be." Wait,I did that?" Asked whirl, being even more confused. Destroying weapons he could use to cause some mayhem doesn't fit him at all.
Everyone was now getting a bit worried for whirl, if he didn't realize or rather know that he did that, something must be wrong with him. Grimlock thinks that Ratchet should run a check up on whirl." Go see Ratchet, have him scan you." Said Grimlock, wanting his teammate in top shape.
Whirl gave a bit of a joke salute to the big guy." You got it boss, oh and Cayde, sorry about you and the geezers weapons." Whirl apologies to Cayde about the destruction of the weapon prototypes.
Cayde obviously forgives whirl, knowing that whirl wasn't in control of himself." It's alright, but if you really wanna make it up to me, come find me after Ratchet gives you a check up." Said Cayde as he got up and then walked away to head back to the room where he makes all his stuff.
Miko and Que join him, miko wanting to hang out with Cayde some more and Que wants to help the lad remake the old weapons,make new ones, or work on perfecting the shard blaster and the chaos rift combustor since those two are the only ones that survived.
Grimlock, Arcee, and Skyquake left as well to go do their own things separately. Well Skyquake went to go do something by himself while Arcee and Grimlock went off to relax and do something together.
After they all left whirl alone in the room, the one eyed ex wrecker left the room to head to the central of the base to find Ratchet, but surprisingly the doc wasn't around.
But what was around was one of doc's stuff, it even matched ratchets color scheme. As whirl stared at it, Megatron once again takes over whirls body, making the ex-wrecker walk over to the device and grabs it, well tried to."Come on! Work you stupid claws! How the frag does this Autobot use these claws?!" Demanded Megatron as he was shouting in anger in whirls mind.
Eventually though, Megatron managed to get whirl to grab the device and then crush it." Excellent." Said Megatron before releasing control over whirl for now.
Ratchet came back to the room just as whirl crushed a device he was working on." Whirl! I needed that!" Said Ratchet. The good doctor feels like he had said that line for many times now.
Whirl looked at ratchet and then slowly looked at what he had in his hands." Oh come on! Again?!" Whirl is getting sick and tired of blacking out for a second and then coming to seeing himself doing something he didn't wanna do.
This got Ratchets attention and made him drop the whole I needed that thing." Again? What do you mean again?" Asked Ratchet, wanting to know what whirl is talking about exactly.
"Oh well I sometimes black out, see bucketheads face, and end up doing something I have no clue about." Whirl explained what happens when everything goes dark for him.
"What? Megatron?" Ratchet doesn't like the sound of this, not one bit.
Later, whirl was hooked up and placed into stasis to try and fix his mind, well the black outs and the megatron images at least." How long will whirl be in this state?" Asked Grimlock, wanting to know when whirl be back to normal and ready to crush some cons.
The good doctor shrugs a bit." Not sure, but a whole day should do the trick." Said Ratchet as he then walked away, leaving whirl alone.
A call alert went off by the monitor, getting everyone's attention, well everyone who was there. It was a call from agent Fowler." Prime! Have you seen any Decepticons in hula skirts lately!?" Asked Agent Fowler, his question was so strange to everyone, and especially prime.
"No special Agent Fowler, I have not, why?" Asked prime, wanting to know why agent Fowler would ask such a strange question about the decepticons.
"Cause the cons just raided the kawaii observatory, stealing only the primary lens to a space telescope." Fowler explained to the Autobots what the cons stole.
This information was a bit confusing." Wait, they stole some glass? What good is a lens when they could have stolen something cooler." Said Miko, trying to understand why the cons would take something so random and lame.
Fowler had no idea, but what he did know was the location of lenses."No idea, but tracker in the lens should be able to help figure out the cons plains." Said Fowler as he then sends the coordinates of the lens to ratchet.
The coordinates showed that the lens and the cons were all the way out in the Arctic." Oh great, the Arctic." Arcee said sarcastically, of all the places to go, it had to be there.
Ratchet zooms in a bit, spotting the reason why the cons were there. There was a lot of Energon, so much, but it was out of reach for anyone thanks to the ice." Starscreams going to melt area to get Energon." Said Grimlock, figuring out the pretender to the Decepticon thrones plan of action.
"That much ice melted would cause water levels to rise, sinking a large majority of the population underwater." Said Cayde, already seeing the outcome of melting all the ice in his head.
That is terrible and must not happen, no matter what." We cannot allow Starscream to succeed in his plans. Autobots, prepare to roll out. Grimlock, you and your team will remain here at base incase anything happens." Said Optimus as he,Hound, Jazz, Bee, Ironhide, and Crosshairs left through the groundbridge ratchet opened for them.
With team prime gone, that just left Grimlock, Arcee, Skyquake,Que, Ratchet, Cayde, Miko, and one sleeping Whirl. Grimlock and Arcee head off to train a bit together, or maybe to make out, who knows.
Skyquake left with Que to see if the geezer can upgrade his mini gun since there's nothing left to do really.
The good doctor left to find some parts to repair the device whirl had broke. That just left the two teens, alone with a power downed whirl. Miko saw this as an opportunity to shoot her shot. So while the two teens were sitting on the floor nearby whirl, Miko spoke up." So uh Cayde, my birthdays coming up soon. Like in a few days from now." Said Miko, blushing slightly as she talked.
Cayde knows this, he has a good memory." I know miko and don't worry, I'll make you something special for your special day." Said Cayde, thinking she was worried about getting something lame from him.
Miko shook her head a bit." Nah, I'm not worried about that. I know I'll get some kick ass gift from you. But I actually want something else, something a bit more special." Miko said, getting ready to say the very thing that could change their friendship, into a relationship.
"What is it?" Asked Cayde, having no clue, nor would he be ready for what she was about to say.
Miko takes a deep breath and then lets it out as she gets ready to say the thing she has been wanting to say for some time now." Cayde, I wanna go on a da-" Miko, once again was interrupted before she could get her confession out in the open.
Whirl suddenly woke up and started walking over to the Groundbridge controls." Oh come on! Wait, whirl?! Where are you going?!" Miko asked, surprised to see whirl up and about.
But whirl didn't reply to her at all, but instead sets some coordinates to the ground bridge and then heads on through once the Groundbridge was open.
Ratchet comes back into the room, just as whirl disappeared in the Groundbridge.The doc then looks at miko and Cayde." What happened? Did miko touch something?" Asked Ratchet, assuming that she must have touched something.
Miko frowns at this and the. flips off the doctor as Cayde answers ratchet's question." Whirl just suddenly woke up and then used the Groundbridge to go somewhere." Said Cayde, explaining what happened while ratchet was gone.
Whirl, or I should say Megatron, arrived at the battle field where he used dark Energon to revive a whole small army of the undead."where is that shard?" Megatron said, his voice mixing in with whirls a bit.
It didn't take long for the warlord to find the dark Energon shard and then plucked it out from the ground, on the first try.
A groundbridge opens up and megatron/whirl takes this opportunity to head on back to the Autobot base so he can get to the Warship.
Back the Base, Ratchet and the teens were waiting for whirl to return." Grimlock and the others should be here soon. I have a bad feeling that all is not right with Whirl." Explained Ratchet, thinking it would be best if everyone in the base was here to confront whirl.
Megatron/Whirl comes on through the Groundbridge with the shard of dark Energon, Ratchet saw this and gasped a bit." What are you doing with that?!" Asked Ratchet.
Megatron/Whirl punched the doctor right in the face, knocking him out." To repair my body." Spoke Megatron/whirl as he then walked over to the Groundbridge controls and sets the coordinates.
Miko nor Cayde knew what megatron sounded like, but it didn't take Cayde long to realize who the secondary voice belonged to." Megatron..." Cayde said, staring at Megatron/whirl.
Miko was shocked by this, but Megatron/whirl was a bit impressed by this since he had never met the flesh bag ." You're smarter than you appear human." Said megatron/whirl as he then booked it for the Groundbridge, wanting to transfer back to his original body immediately.
Just as he went through and the bridge closed, Grimlock and the others arrived, first thing they see is ratchet on the ground. Skyquake and Que help up the doc." Ratchet, what happened?" Asked Skyquake, confused to why ratchet was on the ground.
Instead of the Doctor answering the question on everyone's mind, Cayde and Miko answered for him." Megatron came in here and knocked Ratchet out." Said Miko.
"To be more specific, Megatron is in whirls body and is controlling him." Cayde explained to them all about better so they aren't confused.
This was shocking to hear, but it made sense with how whirl had been acting recently. But the question now is, where had megatron/whirl went and why. Checking the Coordinates, Ratchet noticed the coordinates were somewhat close to the same ones as Optimus and the other's coordinate." These coordinates are close to the ones Optimus and the others used." Said Ratchet.
"Perhaps there coordinates for inside of the Decepticon warship?" Suggested Que, staring at the coordinates and came to that conclusion.
"Demolition force, come on, we have a friend to free and a warlord to grind into powder!" Grimlock said as he then smashed his fists together before starting to walk towards the Groundbridge, Arcee and Skyquake following right behind him.
Ratchet immediately opens up the Groundbridge for them and then watched them leave, hoping they free Whirl from megatrons control and kill megatron as well.
The three bots made it through and the first thing the small team noticed that they were in the warship of the cons, and a trail of bodies." Megatrons in a hurry to return to his body." Said Arcee, stepping over a headless con.
"We better hurry if we wanna be there when megatron rises." Said Grimlock as he started running to the room where megatrons body is at. Skyquake and Arcee ran after Grimlock.
The trio arrived to the med bay of the cons ship and found Megatron/whirl, using a cortical psychic patch and gets ready to stab his body with the dark Energon shard. Arcee and Skyquake were about to attack, but then Grimlock stops them." No, let him. When megatron out of whirl, then we attack." Grimlock said, thinking it would be better to attack megatron when he's back in his original body instead of whirls body.
The two nodded a bit, agreeing with Grimlocks decision. They all just watched as Megatron/whirl stabs the Shard into the hole in his bodies chest and watched as the hole closes up. Once that happens, Megatron, now back in his body, his eyes open up as he got up. As Megatron comes back online, some cons come rushing into the room, but then stand in shock." Decepticons! Your rightful lord and master has retu-"Megatrons return speech was cut off short by getting grabbed by the face.
Grimlock didn't care nor wanted to hear Megatrons return speech."Shut! Up!" Yelled Grimlock as he then crushed Megatrons head, killing him with ease, ending Megatrons life once and for all.
As this happened, the Arthur, me, sighs a bit." Honestly, I can definitely see that actually happening. But since Megatrons needed for plot, I can't use this scene." I said as I then went back to typing.
Take two...
Grimlock didn't care nor wanted to hear Megatrons stupid return speech."Shut! Up!" Yelled Grimlock as he then tossed Megatron over to a wall near the cons.
The cons quickly opened fire at Grimlock and his team, which those with range weapons, shot right back at the cons. Bullets and blasts everywhere. While the autobots and his decepticons had a shoot out, Megatron ran awa-I mean strategical retreated so he can go and squash a pest.
Whirl, after recovering a bit, fired some rockets at the cons, destroying the remaining two. Now there was no more left." Aw man! I only got two?!" Sounds like whirl is back to his normal crazy self again.
The team were relieved by this, but now they had leave the ship and help out Primes team incase they need help." Come on, time to leave the ship." Said Grimlock as he leads his team out of the area, trying to find a way off the ship.
Meanwhile outside of the ship, Primes team was fighting against Breakdown and a couple of Decepticon troops, battling it out while Starscream continues to have the ice melted, But then knock out noticed something." Wait, is it me, or is there a certain lack of leader present?" Asked Knockout, making a good point.
The sounds of a truck engine from behind caught their attention, making the two look back and See Optimus Prime driving right for them. Seeing this makes Starscream growl in frustration." Prime!" Starscream then quickly shoved the trooper on the laser device and then quickly aims it at Prime.
Optimus yelled out in pain but kept on pushing, tanking it. The primes keeps on pushing till getting close enough to the device. Once close enough, Optimus transforms and then leaps up into the air before coming down onto the Device, Slicing it with his blade, destroying the device and making a big explosion.
The explosion created a shockwave that caused everyone down on the ground to go flying. The explosion also sent Optimus crashing down to the ground near the Autobots.
While Optimus groans a bit as he remains on his back, starscream started to fly down towards the prime, about to fire at him." Megatrons greatest mistake was ever allowing you to live prime!" Yelled out Starscream, just as he was about to fire at the Autobot leader.
However, just as the seeker was about to fire, Megatron came flying in, crashing and taking Starscream all the way back up to the Nemesis. Optimus was surprised to see megatron back." Megatron..."
Up on top of the decepticon warship, Megatron drops starscream on the ground, both transforming back into robot mode. Starscream cowers before his master." L-Lord megatron?! Your healed! Thank the All spark for this miracle!" Said Starscream, trying to seem like he's joyful about Megatrons return.
Megatron knew better." Oh it will be a miracle alright starscream, if you survive what I have planned for you!" Said Megatron, letting it be known his intentions.
This of course scared Starscream and the seeker tried to transform and flee, but Megatron was quick to grab the seeker and then tossed him over to a wing of the Ship." W-Wait! Optimus, the Autobots, they're down there waiting for you!" Starscream tries to sway his masters wrath to them.
Oh but it will not work, Megatron is way too pissed." My greatest mistake?! I have made few, but there is one mistake I do not intend to make again!" Said Megatron as he reached out and grabs Starscream by the head and started to drag the seeker into the ship.
"No! Please! Master! NOOOOO!!" Starscreams plead was heard all throughout the Arctic. The Nemesis then started to fly away.
As it did, a Groundbridge appeared near breakdown and a few surviving troops." Till next time Autobots." Said Breakdown as he heads on through with the others.
Now the only ones left in the Arctic were the Autobots." Bucketheads back. This is just great." Crosshairs said sarcastically.
There was nothing to do about that today, but what the Autobots can do is head on back to base." Ratchet, we need a groundbridge." Optimus Prime comms the medical officer.
"Hey can we hitch a bridge with you guys?" Everyone turned around and saw that it was Whirl with the rest of Grimlocks team.
one groundbridge later...
Everyone was back at the base, Whirl just finished up his check up with the doc." You should be back to your old self again." Said Ratchet with a small smile.
Whirl was glad to hear this, ain't no one gonna control him"Finally! Now if you all would excuse me, I gotta apologize to someone...huh, never thought I'd say that." Said Whirl as he then headed off to find Cayde.
Cayde was working on the perfect gift for Miko, getting a bit in the zone while working. After a bit there was a knock at the door." Come in!" Said Cayde as he sets his tools down and then turns around in his spinning chair to see who it is.
Whirl opens up and then comes on." Hey Cayde, doc just checked me out." Said Whirl, looking down at Cayde.
Cayde stared at whirl for a before going back to his work." Whirl, if you're here to apologize, don't. It was megatron who destroyed my stuff and it's gonna be megatron who will apologize. Even if I have to tear out his eyes, teeth, whatever I gotta break to make him apologize." Said Cayde, being very serious with what he said.
Whirl process this a bit before laughing a bit, believing that Cayde will do those things." Well it seems like Megatron better watch his back." Whirl joked a bit, but also not really.
After that, whirl was about to leave, but then Cayde spoke up." Whirl, I need some advice." Cayde said randomly, getting whirl to stop.
"On what?" Asked whirl, turning back around to look down at Cayde.
Cayde thought about easing into the question or trying to hide it a bit. But just decided to be straightforward since that's probably what whirl is gonna do." I wanna ask Miko out and to be my girlfriend, but I got no idea how to do that." Said Cayde, turning back to whirl.
Whirl was not expecting that." Wait, you're asking me, me! For advice on how to ask out your obvious crush, Miko?...Just be straightforward and direct." Said Whirl, giving Cayde the best Advice he could think of.
At first, Cayde thought about dismissing this idea, but then thought about it a bit more before being on board with it." Okay, I'll do that. Thanks whirl." Said Cayde as he goes back to working on Miko's gift.
With the advice in Caydes mind, all that was left to do was wait for the perfect day, which just happens to be Mikos birthday...
