This week has been rather hectic for the Autobots, first Hound ended up saving Breakdown after the Decepticon got himself captured and tortured by mech agents. And then like a day or two after that, Caydes mother ended up getting kidnapped by mech agents and Airachnid. Only reason they knew about Caydes connection to the autobots was the whole dingus situation awhile back.
The only way to save Caydes mom was to show up with Arcee so Airachnid can have her sick fun with the two wheeler, but unlucky for the mech agents and the spider, Grimlock also showed up and well, everyone fled out of fear of course and Lily Redgrave ended up learning the truth about Caydes secret friends.
After this, Lily ended up visiting whenever she could. Today was no different. Hopefully Lily has no embarrassing stories about Cayde.
At the base, chilling around and whatnot was Ratchet, who was doing some work by the monitors. Grimlock and his team were by a corner of the room discussing a different team name since demolition force is not the best of names. And lastly there was the two humans Cayde and miko.
Speaking of the two humans, in the main part of the base, sitting at a desk was Cayde. He was working on a new gadget. As for what the new gadget does, well that's a surprise for later.
Helping Cayde out was his lovely assistant, Miko. She would hand him the tools and stuff he needs while talking to him." Have you ever thought what it would be like to be like the bots." Miko asked as she passes Cayde a tool.
Cayde of course nodded a bit. There isn't a day that goes by when the thought of being like one of the bots doesn't cross his mind." Yes, I have." Said Cayde as he puts the finishing touches on his gadget before setting it down.
The device was a bit big, about the size of a shield to be exact. As for what this device does, well that's gonna remain a mystery." So, what does it do?" Asked Miko, curious to know about caydes latest creation.
Cayde was about to explain what he has finally finished working on, but the sounds of a car driving in stops him from continuing his work.
Everyone in the room looked over at the tunnel and saw that it was Lily Redgrave in her truck. Ratchet already knew Lily was coming to the base but he chose not to say anything due to him not really carrying.
In the back of lily's truck was whole lotta scrap metal and broken tech of all sorts. Sometimes Lily picks this type of stuff up for her son whenever she can.
Lily parked her truck where the bots wouldn't have to watch there step at." Hey honey. I finished work a bit earlier so I thought I'd swing by to check in on you and my future daughter in law." Said Lily as she gets out of her truck.
This caused both miko and Cayde to blush quite a bit." Mom! We haven't even been together for even a year yet!" Said Cayde, feeling a bit embarrassed by his mom's words.
This caused a whirl to laugh, a small chuckle from Arcee, but nothing from either Skyquake nor Grimlock.
"Oh I know sweetie, but I have a feeling you two will one day get married." Said Lily, justifying what she said cause she has a feeling.
This only made the two blush even harder. Both were mentally praying to primus, yes primus, that something will happen to stop this embarrassing talk.
As if answering there prayers, the sounds of a fast car could be heard coming in through the same tunnel Lily just came in through. This of course caused all eyes, minus ratchets who is too busy with checking out a strange magnetic flux, to look over.
Turns out it was Bee, he was returning from a drive. With him was raf. After raf exits out of bee, the scout transforms and walked over to ratchet to ask if he's heard any word from his fath-I mean Optimus prime.
While he did that, Raf walked over to where all the other humans were." Oh, Hi Misses Redgrave. You're visiting again?" Asked Raf.
Lily nodded a bit. She then was about to correct raf and tell him to just call her Lily, but then Ratchet spoke up, stopping her or anyone else from saying another." Grimlock, I need you and your team to investigate odd magnetic disturbance." Ratchet said, looking over at Grimlock and his team.
Normally Ratchet would have someone like bee to investigate this little anomaly issue, but ratchet has a feeling in his spark that there is more to this than meets the eye.
Grimlock nodded a bit and then turns to his team." Team, move out." Said Grimlock, willing to do Ratchets request, only because when there's odd disturbances, that usually means the Decepticons aren't too far behind.
Grimlock and his team ready up as ratchet sets the coordinates for the groundbridge. While doing this, Cayde and miko walked over to the bots, Cayde holding the device in his arms." Since you guys are heading out and might run into some cons, mind taking my new invention out for a test?" Asked Cayde as he holds it up.
"How does this little gadget work?" Asked Skyquake as Whirl snatched the device up and inspects it a bit, poking and shaking it a bit.
"Well it's simple. Push the big button on the top of it and then quickly throw it at an opponent. After that, that is when it will activate." Cayde explained how to use the device, but didn't explain what it does exactly.
Hearing this made whirl almost push the button immediately, but Arcee snatched it from whirl before he could." But what does it do exactly?" Asked Arcee as she hands the device over to Grimlock. Arcee wants to know what it does before even considering to use it.
Cayde wanted them to be surprised and see for themselves, but guess he has no choice." It's basically a magnet zapper. Once it's attached to an enemy, it'll zap them till they are knocked out." Explained Cayde.
Grimlock stared at the device in his hands before looking down at Cayde." We'll be sure to use it if any decepticons show up." Said Grimlock. Just as the big guy said that, the groundbridge opens up.
After that, the team headed on through,Cayde and miko wave them goodbye. When the Groundbridge deactivated, Miko looked at Cayde." Wanna go to the movies and see that new kaiju movie?" Asked Miko, wanting to go see a movie with her boyfriend.
Cayde of course nodded since there was nothing else to do and he's been dying to see that new kaiju movie as well." You read my mind." Said Cayde.
So while the couple headed out to see a movie, out in the middle of nowhere, Grimlock and his team were traversing a rocky area, tracking down the magnetic flux." We should be getting closer to whatever is causing this flux." Said Arcee, walking in front of the team while holding a scanner.
"Good, sooner we find the cause of it, the sooner we find some cons." Said Grimlock as he smashed his fists together, wanting to tear some cons apart.
As the team kept walking, they all heard some loud grunting sounds and they sounded rather...sexual." Sounds like some freaks are going at it out public." Joked Whirl who thought this was hilarious.
Skyquake hopes that why those noises are being made are not what they appear to be." Sounds can be deceiving." Said Skyquake, confident that what everyone was thinking was not really happening.
Grimlock and Arcee agreed with skyquake. There is no way two people would come out all the way to the middle of nowhere for sexual public stuff." One way to find out." Said Grimlock as he walked ahead, going to check out who are the ones making those noises.
The big guys team follow after him, wanting to see for themselves as well. When they all made it a bit further, they saw that it wasn't two people have some freaky fun out in the middle of nowhere, but was in fact two Decepticons fighting over something." Oh man, I was really hoping it was the other thing." Said whirl, a bit disappointed to not have caught two individuals in the naughty act.
The two cons who were fighting was the now one eyed Breakdown and the only femme Decepticon on the planet, Airachnid. Arcee glares at the spider femme con in anger, clenching her fist a bit." Airachnid..."
"So, what's the plan boss? We sit back and let them scrap each other? Or do we go down there and blow them both into scrap piles?" Asked Whirl, fine with either option cause both are rather entertaining to him.
Without even hesitating, Grimlock brings out his sword." We take them down." Said Grimlock, not wanting to sit back and watch.
The fight between the two cons continued till Airachnid got the upper hand momentarily. Satisfied with this quick upper hand, she then used this opportunity to reach for the device. But as Airachnid reached for it, an energy blast hit the device and sent it flying away from l her and landed right by breakdown.
The cons looked over and immediately the two were internally scared shitless. But only one of them showed it on the outside, and that was Airachnid." The destroyer!" Airachnid immediately transformed and then tried to flee.
Arcee wasn't about to let Airachnid get away so easily, so with quick thinking, Arcee activated caydes invention and then quickly threw it at Airachnid." You're not getting away this time!" Arcee yelled.
The device magnetized to Airachnid while she tried to fly away. She didn't get very far because once the device activated, she got zapped greatly. This caused Airachnid to scream in pain as she crash lands on the ground. After that she transforms back to robot mode, passing out as the device stops.
"One down, and one remains." Said Skyquake as he aims his mini gun at breakdown, ready to open fire.
Breakdown was in a very tough pickle here and survival chances are very slime. But out of the corner of his eye, breakdown spotted the device he was tasked to retrieve and it was right by his feet.
The autobots started to approach breakdown, most with their melee weapons out. This is gonna end very bad for breakdown if he doesn't think of something quick.
So with surprisingly good and quick thinking, Breakdown grabs the device...and then raises his arms up, surrendering." Wait! Let's make a deal autobots!"Said Breakdown, hoping they are willing to listen.
This caused the team to stop, being curious as to what kind of deal that breakdown could possibly be trying make with them." Perhaps we should hear him out, he is surrendering." Said Skyquake, not wanting to fight an opponent like breakdown who had just surrendered and is wanting to make a deal.
"Or it could be a trick." Said Arcee, keeping her optics on the unconscious Airachnid, not wanting the slagging bitch to get away while they're talking to breakdown.
Whirl...had nothing to say cause he didn't really care what goes down at the moment. So that just left two options for Grimlock. Grimlock didn't take too long to make a decision." If this is a trick, we will tear you apart till there's nothing left." Warned Grimlock, growling slightly as he did that.
This of course motivated breakdown to not try anything funny out of fear for his life." So, in exchange for this little trinket, you autobots will let me leave here alive. Oh and let me take that piece of slag back to lord megatron so he doesn't kill me for coming back empty handed." Said Breakdown, pointing at Airachnid. He really hopes they will take the deal so that everyone will leave this place a winner, sorta.
Skyquake and Whirl remained silent since neither feels like they should voice an opinion in this matter. Grimlock also remained silent, but only for a bit before looking down at Arcee." Your call." Said Grimlock, leaving the decision of accepting this deal to her.
Arcee was kinda glad grimlock is giving her full control over this call. She knew that whatever that device was, the cons must not get there hands on it, plus, is breakdown takes airachnid back to the decepticons then the chances of them meeting again will be much higher." Alright fine, toss the device over and then take her and go." Said Arcee.
Breakdown lets out a huge sigh of relief. Seems like he will get to live for another day. So now that the deal has been accepted, Breakdown tossed the device over to the autobots, Skyquake catching it. After that, breakdown walks over to the still unconscious airachnid, flicks off the device attached to her, and then picked her up." Breakdown to the Nemesis, I need a groundbridge." Breakdown comms back to the warship.
Almost immediately, a groundbridge opens up and then he heads on through with the slagging spider bitch.
After doing this, the autobots were now alone with the device in hand." Well, mission accomplished...Now what?" Asked whirl as he walked over and picked up Caydes device, having a feeling the teen will want it back.
Grimlock didn't waste time using words to answer whirl's question cause there was really only one thing to do, head on back to base." Ratchet, groundbridge." Said Grimlock as he comms the doctor for a portal back to the base
It doesn't take too long for the groundbridge to appear and for the team to head on through. Another successful mission for team...whatever their name will be whenever they finally pick something good.

Rocks...so many rocks. That was all that miko could see from all around her and Cayde. Reason why was because they were sitting near a huge cave that was supposedly abandoned by the decepticons after having stripped all the Energon from inside.
Why the teens were at this cave was because the Autobots believe that there might be some Energon the cons didn't get. Hound and whirl ended up being the ones tasked with investigating this and for some reason, miko and Cayde tagged along, both thinking it would be fun, but really it was boring as hell.
"I'm so bored!" Miko groans out, lying on a boulder as she stares up at the cloudy sky, wishing she could go back in time and stop herself from asking to go on this mission.
Cayde looked over at her, dressed in a tank top and some shorts, making his prosthetic leg way more visible now than when he wears jeans or sweatpants." It was your idea for us to go with them." Cayde Pointed out.
Hearing this only makes miko groan again." Don't remind me." Miko begs, not wanting to be reminded that this cause of boredom is because of her.
Fortunately for them both, the boredom will soon end.
Hound and whirl exit out of the cave, having finished scanning the abandoned mine for traces of Energon." Dame things gotta be busted, says there's Energon here but the cons picked this place clean years ago." Said Hound as he shakes the scanner a bit before hitting it a bit, thinking it's busted.
"Maybe if you hit it hard enough, it'll magically fix itself?" Whirl suggests a bit sarcastically, actually very sarcastically.
Hound slowly looked at whirl, thinking about slapping the fuck out of him and almost did it, but then Cayde spoke up right before hound could." Hey hound, is it safe in there?" Asked Cayde, sliding off the rock he was on.
"Kinda, but the place could collapse at any moment if like an earthquake or something happens, why?" Asked Hound, wondering why Cayde asked that.
Cayde simply pointed at the cave and everyone saw miko run in." I will remain bored no longer!" Miko shouted as she ran on in, getting deeper and deeper into the cave.
Everyone just kinda stood there for a bit before going after her, hound jogging ahead to make sure he doesn't lose track of her.
With everyone inside of the cave, they all were unaware of the sudden arrival of two uninvited guests.
Two jets arrived, one was earth based and the other was Cybertronian. The two transformer and it is revealed to be Megatron and starscream.
Megatron began walked towards the cave while starscream remained where he was, a bit scared." Uh master, why are we here? There's not a single scrap of Energon left." Said starscream, trying to understand what his master brought him here...alone.
Megatron stops and turns back to starscream." Indulge me starscream, won't you?" After that, Megatron continued to head on back into the cave.
Starscream, very nervously, followed his master into the deep dark cave.
While the two did that for a while, the others had continued to journey through the cave themselves, having somehow gotten separated in the process.
Whirl tries to comm hound to see if he's found miko yet, but the comms are jammed thanks to the caves minerals."Well this is just great. Lost in a cave and no communications, can this day get any better?" Asked Whirl out loud, not thinking things could get worse.
Cayde just rolled his eyes a bit at this and was about to tell whirl that he's being a drama queen, but Cayde stops himself after stumbling upon something.
Cayde has just stumbled upon the leader of the decepticons, about to kill his cowardly second in command. And it seems like his presence was picked up quickly due to both megatron and Starscream looking over at him." Huh, I thought you'd both be more intimidating." Said Cayde casually, not seeming to be scared of either of them.
This of course surprised both of them for a couple of reasons, but the reasons didn't matter cause it still distracted them both long enough for whirl to come out and fire his chest guns." Eat lead buckethead!" Said whirl, firing at megatron.
Megatron is able to tank the bullets as he fired his fusion cannon at whirl, attempting to hit and kill the one eyed autobot.
Because of this, Whirl and Cayde get behind cover quickly so neither of them would get killed.
while Megatron continues to fire at them, starscream flees, attempting to escape punishment and with his life of course. So When megatron saw this, he was pretty furious." You dare abandon me starscream?!" Yelled Megatron as he then turned his attention to starscream and fired at the seeker.
Every shot that megatron fired had missed the seeker and caused the caves to shake more and more, starting to cause the whole entire cave to collapse.
Everything was falling apart, the ground beneath the three was giving out and crumbling away." Son of a bit-" that was the last thing Cayde said before he fell, along with whirl and Megatron.
In another part of the cave, hound and miko ended up getting trapped under a bunch of rocks, thankfully hound is able to keep the rocks from falling over, but the question is how long can hound hold it?
Hopefully for till someone is able to reach them.
After recovering from the fall and somehow not getting crushed to death, Cayde got up and took a look around, noticing that he was all alone." Hello! Can anyone hear me?!" Cayde shouted, trying to see if anyone is nearby.
But to caydes luck, not a single noise was heard. Cayde sighs a bit and was about to look around for an escape route, but then he spotted the big drill machine and grinned a bit." Jackpot." He said as he ran over to it and then climbs up to the control panel.
Cayde takes one look at the panel and understands everything immediately. Those lessons with ratchet and Que are paying off. Cayde activated the drill and started to drive around and drill his way through the cave, trying to find someone, anyone.
While drilling through the cave, Cayde hums a small tune." Brothers of the mine rejoice..." Cayde muttered as he drills through some rocks.
After a bit more drilling, Cayde backs up to see if he's close to making a way out or has found anyone yet. Cayde does end up finding someone, but not who he would have hoped." Oh, it's you." Said Cayde with a bored look.
Cayde was speaking to the one and only megatron, who was trapped almost completely." I suppose helping those in need is out of the question?" Asked Megatron.
"What do you think?" Asked Cayde as he crossed his arms, not seeming to be scared of megatron.
Megatron is a bit surprised by this, but doesn't really care." If that's the case, then I suggest you use that drill and end me now because I guarantee you will never have this chance again." Said Megatron, warning Cayde that this will be his one and only chance at ending him.
Instead of answering megatron or ignoring him and just drive away, Cayde gets off the drill and then walked over to megatron, standing right in front of the cons face and looking him straight in the eyes." That is where you are wrong. You see, when you were in whirls body, you destroyed some of my inventions. Now unless you apologize, I will make sure that I am the one to kill you. Not Optimus, not grimlock, not anyone else...just me." Said Cayde, being one hundred percent serious with his words.
The two just stared at each other, neither saying a word. Normally, Megatron would just laugh at this kind of threat, especially from one so small and so weak. But, there was something about this human that made Megatron believe that this human before him was very serious." What's your name human?" Asked Megatron, wanting to know.
"Cayde Redgrave, but everyone just calls me Cayde." Said Cayde, not seeing an issue with telling the crazy warlord his name.
"Cayde...I'll be sure to remember it the next time we meet. And it will be near Optimus primes corpse." Said Megatron, smirking slightly when he said that.
Cayde just rolled his eyes at this and heads back to the drill." Uh huh, sure." Said Cayde as he made it to the controls and drives on out of there, leaving megatron alone.
As Cayde drove away, going to try and find the others. While he did that, Megatron got to work on getting himself free from his rocky tomb.
As Cayde drills some more, he heard some voices just ahead of him, behind a bunch of rocks. There were three voices. He knew that two out of the three voices were hound and Mikos, but the other one was starscreams. And from the sounds of it, starscream was about to do something.
That shit was not gonna fly with Cayde." Not the fuck today!" Said Cayde as he puts the drill in full thrust and drills through the wall quickly.
Cayde was correct, starscream was in there with hound and miko, hound being unable to do anything since he was holding the ceiling, keeping it from coming down upon them all.
Starscream was about to do something out of anger from getting kicked by hound, but then the sound of drilling stops him." What?"
The drill comes right on in, koolaid man style, hitting starscream and knocking him to the side. Hound and Miko looked over and saw that it was Cayde." Cayde, get miko out of here!" Said hound, wanting to get miko out of here and safe.
Cayde doesn't waste time getting down to the treads of the drill and reached for miko." Time to go." Said Cayde.
Miko was hesitant at first since she didn't want to leave hound behind, but she knew that hound would be alright since if starscream does anything to the big guy then the whole roof comes down." You better not kick the bucket hound!" Said Miko, shedding some tears as she grabs caydes hand and is then pulled onto the drill.
After that, Cayde rushed to the controls and then drives on out of there, leaving hound and starscream alone. Normally Cayde would shoot and kill starscream...but Cayde didn't bring any of his guns, miko as well.
"How are we gonna help hound?!" Asked Miko, wanting to know if Cayde has some sort of plan.
Cayde didn't, but thankfully he didn't because a very familiar friend showed up." I think I can help out our favorite chunky autobot." It was the one and only whirl. After so long, whirl has finally found the others.
It was relieving to see whirl after everything that's happened." Whirl! Finally! Where have you been?" Asked Cayde.
"It's a long story, but first i gotta save someone's fatass. Go and drill us a way out." Said Whirl as he walked past them, heading to the secluded area where hound and starscream are.
Following his orders, Cayde uses the drill to drill an exit tunnel for them all while whirl goes to grab hound.
It didn't take long to make an exit hole thanks to the big drill. With an exit now made, all that was left was to wait for whirl and hound to come back.
Thankfully, whirl didn't take long and both him and hound came out of the cave." Hound! You're alright!" Miko hops down the from the drill and ran over and hugs his foot.
Hound smiled a bit and pats miko on the head with his finger." Course I am. There's no way I was gonna let starscream of all cons to take me out." Said hound, reassuring miko.
After that, everything just kinda stands around, looking at the cave. Thinking on what they should do. On one hand, they could bomb the place and hope that it kills both megatron and starscream.
But on the other hand, they're all very exhausted and could just head on back to the base." Anyone else just wanna head back to the base and forget this day happened?" Asked miko, wiping some of the dust off herself.
The guys just nodded a bit, agreeing with her." Yeah, Im too exhausted to do anything else." Said Cayde, yawning a bit.
So with that, everyone just left, hound contacting ratchet for a groundbridge to head on back to the base.
While the Autobots and the teens head home, back in the cave. Starscream was holding up the ceiling, struggling greatly. As starscream held up the ceiling, he noticed something out of the corner of his eye, it was lord megatron, free and safe." You see master, I didn't abandoned you! I came to save you!" Said starscream, trying to tell his master the 'truth'.
Megatron wasn't buying this, not one bit." Save me?" Megatron continued to stare at starscream, watching him suffer.
Starscream groans in pain, barely able to keep the ceiling up much longer." Look into my spark master, my intentions were true!" Starscream then started to beg for his master to save him.
But Megatron just stood there, watching starscream with a smirk, enjoying the seeker's torture...
