In the sky, there was a flying aircraft carrier.

A farce was unfolding here as well.

The surveillance screens aboard the aircraft carrier were showing inappropriate footage involving Nick!

The agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. wore strange expressions; they didn't want to look at the screen, yet they couldn't help but sneak glances because the male actor in the footage was none other than their illustrious and invincible director, Nick Fury.

Nick's face was darker than ever, and he erupted in rage, shouting, "Is the tech team full of morons? Why haven't they taken this video down yet?"

Faced with their director's fury, the agents dared not speak, burying their heads in embarrassment.

"The tech team is working hard, but the virus on the other side is highly unusual. The new algorithm of the virus has never been seen before. It has integrated itself with the surveillance system in a very short time. Cracking this virus will take a long time, so I suggest we shut down the surveillance system," suggested Deputy Director Maria Hill, suppressing her laughter. Though her young, beautiful face remained icy, anyone could see the mirth in her gorgeous eyes.

"Shut down the surveillance?" Nick hesitated. The responsibility of S.H.I.E.L.D. was to monitor those with superhuman abilities. What if the other side had a plot and took advantage of us shutting down the system?

It's possible that they released this unsavory video just to make us turn off the surveillance system!

The more Nick thought about the situation, the more he felt the other side's intentions were malicious, and it left him in a perplexing dilemma—something that usually decisive Nick couldn't resolve quickly.

Maria Hill looked at her superior, eager to see what decision he would make.

"Forget it!" The psychologically resilient Nick ultimately rejected Maria's proposal, but he couldn't stand the bizarre atmosphere in the main hall. He said, "Maria, you take command here for now. I must find that damned organization."

"Understood!" Maria replied expressionlessly, but in a private moment, she decided she would laugh heartily.

Thus, the surveillance screens continued to show Nick's inappropriate moments for over an hour until the tech team finally managed to delete the damned virus, ending this farce. The agents had inadvertently watched their director's "entertainment" for over an hour.

"Wow, the director is quite impressive in this regard!"

"I didn't expect the director to still have such charm; he managed to entice such a stunning beauty!"

"The director is top-tier in special operations and possesses superhuman abilities, so it's normal for him to hold up for over an hour."

The agents whispered among themselves, gossiping quietly.

With a grim face, Nick entered the command center and asked, "Is there any movement from the other side?"

Maria furrowed her brow and replied, "It's strange. They made such a big fuss to make us shut down the surveillance system, but there's been no action. This indicates they know the director hasn't turned the system off."

Nick glared with his one eye and said, "Are you suggesting that one of our agents might be a mole?"

"Perhaps, but it could also be a prank on their part," Maria joked.

Nick's expression turned serious. "Do you really think so? Our S.H.I.E.L.D. computer system is one of the top in the world. Any hacker group trying to break into our system would have to pay a tremendous price and expend significant effort. Do you think, Commander Hill, that they would act just for a prank?"

"Yes, Director, you're right in your assessment." Maria's meticulously composed face began to reflect the seriousness of the situation as well.

"Isolate and inspect anyone who transmitted information outwards in the past hour!" Nick ordered.

S.H.I.E.L.D. began a secret overhaul. Everyone was overwhelmed and grumbling with a headache but found themselves helpless.

What they didn't realize was that this farce had stemmed from them monitoring a young scientist's computer. The virus thrown by Ye Hai was just a prank.

The next day, Ye Hai went to work as usual.

However, the atmosphere inside the Osborn building felt off today, with many men in black suits, reportedly from the National Security Agency.

A young female secretary approached with a polite middle-aged man. The man addressed Ye Hai kindly, "Hello, Dr. Ye. My name is Phil Coulson. May I ask you a few questions?"

"Of course," Ye Hai replied, assessing the famous agent with a smile. "Mr. Coulson, are you referring to Dr. Connors?"

"Yes, Dr. Ye. You're quite accomplished for your age." Phil praised him before continuing, "I've heard from Osborn employees that the formula for the mutation rate that Dr. Connors has been researching was improved with your help, so you must have significant insights on how Dr. Connors transformed into a lizard..."

"Sorry." The young female secretary interjected, "Mr. Coulson, you're mistaken. Dr. Connors didn't turn into a lizard; he disappeared that night and was likely eaten by the giant lizard that suddenly appeared. Oh, how unfortunate!"

Phil Coulson shrugged and said, "Maybe."

Afterward, Phil asked a series of questions, but with the female secretary present and Ye Hai's lack of cooperation, he could extract nothing useful and ultimately had to give up in frustration.

Finally, the young female secretary smiled brightly, saying, "Dr. Ye, Mr. Osborn would like to see you. Please follow me!"

"Sure, beautiful miss."

He was finally going to meet this chairman, and Ye Hai felt a slight thrill in his heart. He had always wanted to meet this person; he could treat Norman's hereditary disease, and this would be a significant deal. He used to be too intimidated to barter with such a powerful capitalist when he was an ordinary person. Now, as a formidable mutant, he had no such fears.

The female secretary wore a black uniform and a short skirt that hugged her curvy figure, revealing stunningly long legs. Ye Hai found it amusing that he had just seen her work on her computer last night, which included a steamy video of her and a man. He even sent that video to Norman's computer.

The secretary seemed quite interested in him and introduced herself as Eudora Senior, chatting enthusiastically along the way. However, Ye Hai showed little interest in her, just responding perfunctorily.

They entered the elevator, which was small and confined to just the two of them. The secretary wore a radiant smile, but a sudden flash of golden light gleamed in her eyes.

Ye Hai's heart sank as a sense of danger washed over him; something felt wrong.

"Clunk!"

The elevator came to a sudden stop, plummeting rapidly downward. The quick change nearly caused Ye Hai to fall if he weren't a mutant. The pretty secretary remained unperturbed, standing confidently as she smiled at him.

At this point, if Ye Hai hadn't realized something was off, it would have been a waste of his intelligence.

"Who are you?" Ye Hai stared at the secretary.
