"What do you mean by anything?" Malcolm asked in a confused voice as he looked down at the white staff only for a moment before looking up at Divatox. "Nothing can bring back those who have died."

Divatox grinned, "Ah, so those who have died are on your mind, are they?" she asked mischievously.

Malcolm's eyes widened, but he didn't say a word, "The dead are never truly dead unless we forget about them, now are they?" Divatox asked in a cunning voice as she walked down the path and stopped close enough to Malcolm and Tommy that she could touch them. "How about you, Tommy?"

"I don't think about the past that often," Tommy replied coldly. "My uncle says that it's not good…"

Divatox looked amused, "Yes, your uncle," she replied craftily. "Now, Malcolm, wishes are powerful."

"Why would I be that selfish to wish for something for myself when others have also lost people they cared about?" Malcolm replied in an angry voice as he thought of all the people that had died at the hands of Rita, Zedd, and Divatox who didn't have to. "Your temptation is not going to work on me, Divatox."

Divatox scowled, "Would you rather be in a world where nobody knows what you've been through or remembers your name?" she asked in a sharp voice. "You have lost so much and yet your accomplishments are not as lauded as they should be. You're more special than you realize."

"My aunt, my uncle, Jason, and all of my friends tell me that constantly," Malcolm replied coldly as he glared at Divatox. "Nothing you tell me is going to make me use that staff to make myself happy."

Divatox sneered, but said nothing as Rita and Zedd suddenly appeared, "Rocky's family is history!" Rita cackled in a malicious voice as she suddenly noticed Tommy and Malcolm. "Ah, we have company!"

"You killed Rocky's parents and siblings?" Malcolm said in an angry voice. "Why would you do that?!"

Rita cackled, "Because you Power Rangers took Zedison away from us," she replied in an evil voice.

"Malcolm, don't let your anger get the better of you," Tommy whispered in a concerned voice.

Malcolm was silent for a moment and then slowly exhaled, "If you want to stop Rocky's family from dying, I'll give you the opportunity," Divatox cooed in an amused voice. "All you have to do is ask."

"Remember, do not do anything to change the course of history," Malcolm suddenly heard in his mind as memories about the last time he was sent back in time flooded his mind and why it had been important.

Rita smirked and Malcolm suddenly closed his eyes so that he wouldn't be tempted to give into the power of the staff even though he could feel it calling to him. Billy's voice suddenly echoed through his mind and Malcolm suddenly felt a rush of wind that was filled with three people screaming.

"Why did you even call me here?" Jason asked in a confused voice as he looked at Laura, Katherine, Tanya, and Adam as they all stood in the center of the Power Chamber. "I'm not a Ranger anymore."

Laura scoffed, "You're still close to Malcolm and Tommy," she replied crossly. "Alpha? Zordon?"

"Laura is right, Jason," Zordon replied as he appeared in his tube. "You are still their friend."

Jason nodded, but didn't say anything, "Jason why don't you just show some emotion about Billy's death already?!" Adam suddenly snapped, giving Jason an exasperated look. "Have you even cried for him?"

Tanya's eyes widened and Katherine covered her mouth in shock, "I've been watching you and Malcolm since Billy died and you two are nowhere near as close as you were when Malcolm first came to Angel Grove," Adam snapped as he glared at the surprised looking Jason. "Did you forget that Malcolm knows very well what it's like to lose people he cares about? He lost his parents and you and Billy were his…"

"First friends," Jason replied softly, suddenly feeling ashamed of how he'd been acting. "That day, Billy stayed with Malcolm while I ran back to town to get help. We barely left Malcolm's bedside…"

Katherine sighed, "I guess I'm just as guilty as Jason because I've been so busy helping Mark," she replied in a somber voice. "I've also been keeping my parents updated on what's been happening…"

"Your parents," Laura breathed in an anxious voice as a vision of Rita and Goldar suddenly attacking Kat's mother and father filled her mind. "Kat, when was the last time you talked to your parents?"

Katherine frowned at Laura, "Why?" she asked in a concerned voice. "Laura, what's wrong?"

"Zordon, can you give us a view of the site where Katherine's parents are working?" Laura asked in an anxious voice as she hurried over to the Viewing Globe. "Something's going to happen; I can feel it."

There was silence as the Viewing Globe switched to the site where Katherine's mother and father were standing and digging through some dirt. Brightly colored gems could be seen in a strainer that Katherine's mother was holding. Suddenly, the sky went dark and thunder began to shake the earth.

"Zordon, can we do anything to save my parents?" Katherine asked in a worried voice.

Laura didn't hesitate to pull out her Turbo Morpher and was shocked when a trembling Tommy suddenly appeared in the Power Chamber, "Tommy, we have to go and save my parents," Katherine said in an anxious voice, concerned by how pale and shaken Tommy looked. "Where's Malcolm?"

"You guys go," Jason spoke up in a calming voice. "I'll stay here and help Zordon search for Malcolm."

Even though Tommy could see sadness in Jason's eyes at not being able to join them, Tommy nodded and held out his Turbo Morpher, "Red Turbo Power!" he yelled in an anxious voice. "Let's do it!"

"Green Turbo Power!" Adam yelled in an anxious voice as he thrust his Turbo Morpher forward.

Silently praying that her and Mark's parents would be okay, Katherine thrust her Turbo Morpher forward, "Pink Turbo Power!" she shouted, silently hoping that Malcolm would be found soon.

"Yellow Turbo Power!" Tanya shouted anxiously as she thrust her Turbo Morpher forward.

Laura cast a look at Jason before looking forward, "Blue Turbo Power!" she shouted anxiously as she thrust her Turbo Morpher forward and morphed along with her four fellow Turbo Power Rangers.

Detective Stone silently watched through the window as two nurses checked the machine that was monitoring Rocky's vitals as the young man lay unconscious on a gurney covered by a blanket. From what the detective had heard on his way through the hospital, there were medical reasons to believe that Rocky DeSantos was falling out of remission after beating cancer as a child. It was truly tragic.

Never before had Detective Stone felt too old to do the job; he was now facing telling a potential cancer patient that his entire family had been murdered by monsters that had probably killed Billy Cranston.

So lost in thought was Detective Stone that he failed to notice that Rocky had woken up and was trying to make conversation with the nurse closest to him. He also failed to notice footsteps approaching.

Adam was supposed to have come with him, but an emergency had called him away, "Detective Stone?" a tired, but familiar voice asked. "I was just getting some tests done. What are you doing here?"

Detective Stone turned to see Skull standing there in a gown, sweats, and slippers holding to an IV pole with one hand and on to a nurse's arm with the other, "Skullovitch, how are you feeling?" he asked in a concerned voice, temporarily forgetting about Rocky as he saw how pale Skull currently looked.

"I should be released in the next couple of days," Skull replied softly. "I'm being given a break on my attendance given the circumstances of what happened and Ms. Appleby's been bringing my work."

Detective Stone nodded and looked back through the window at Rocky, "Hey, Detective, isn't that Rocky DeSantos in there?" Skull asked in a concerned voice as he frowned. "Why's Rocky in the post-op area?"

For a moment, Detective Stone was silent as he and Rocky locked gazes and he then sighed when Rocky's gaze shifted to Skull, "Rocky's cancer is back isn't it?" Skull asked in a quiet, somber voice.

Detective Stone frowned in confusion, "When I was receiving chemo, Adam and Rocky visited me and Rocky said that he had suffered from cancer as a child," Skull replied somberly. "Oh man…"

Through the window, Rocky suddenly motioned for Detective Stone to come talk to him, "Skullovitch, walk with me," Detective Stone said, knowing that he now had to deliver the news he truly dreaded to.

Even though Skull was confused, he nodded and, with the nurse's assistance, he silently followed Detective Stone into the room and waited by the door while Detective Stone walked over to Rocky's bedside, "Can you call my house and see if my parents are home?" Rocky asked in a groggy voice.

"Mister DeSantos, I have something to tell you and I need you to remain calm and listen closely," Detective Stone replied in a somber voice as the nurses moved away from the gurney. "Okay?"

Rocky was quiet for a moment and his eyes suddenly filled with tears, "I already know what you're going to tell me," he said in a groggy, tearful voice. "When I was unconscious, I felt my family saying goodbye."

"I'm so sorry, Mister DeSantos," Detective Stone replied somberly as he bowed his head.

Skull went white and felt himself being kept steady by two of the nurses while the third nurse walked over to the monitor, "I'm so tired that I can't think straight," Rocky breathed groggily as he felt his hand being picked up and placed under the blanket covering his body. "I really, really need to sleep…"

Rocky's voice suddenly trailed off as he fell back asleep. Trembling, Skull pulled away from the nurses and staggered out of the room just before he threw up all over the clean hospital floor.

"Someone needs to call the school and Rocky's friends," Skull said in a shellshocked voice as he staggered over to the nearest window ledge and sat down. "Rocky's friends are all at school…"

Detective Stone silently left the room and walked over to where Skull was sitting, "Skullovitch, are you all right?" he asked in a concerned voice, seeing shock in Skull's already pale face. "Talk to me."

Skull said nothing for several seconds and then silently gazed out the window, "No," he whispered in a barely audible voice, saddened that Rocky had lost his family so suddenly. "No, I'm not all right."

As the five Turbo Power Rangers touched down at the site, they immediately noticed that the air was cold and that Rita was standing in front of a terrified looking couple with her wand out, "You're not going to hurt them, Rita!" Katherine yelled in an anxious voice. "Enough innocent people have died!"

"Oh, Andrew, it's the Power Rangers!" Katrina Hillard said in an anxious voice. "I can't believe it!"

Rita whined as she turned her attention to the Power Rangers, "I'm getting such a headache every time you Rangers spoil my fun," she said in an annoyed voice. "FINSTER, IS MY MONSTER READY?!"

Finster suddenly appeared looking rather fearful, "Uh, Rita, the monster machine broke," he replied in a nervous voice as he gazed at Rita fearfully. "When Divatox's hostages escaped, they broke the…"

"NEVER MIND!" Rita screamed in an angry voice as she thrust her wand at Finster. "GROW!"

Finster squealed anxiously as he grew to a monstrous size, "SQUASH THOSE RANGERS WHILE I DEAL WITH THOSE TWO!" Rita screamed as she advanced on the Hillards. "THEY HAVE SOMETHING I WANT!"

"Turbo Zord Power!" Tommy yelled, knowing they needed it in order to beat Finster.

All five Rangers raised their arms in unison and five Turbo Megazords came into view, allowing the five Rangers a fair chance, "Turbo Megazord Power now!" Adam yelled in an anxious voice. "We need it!"

Almost immediately, the five Turbo Zords combined and Tommy, Katherine, Adam, Tanya, and Laura found themselves all sharing one cockpit, "TAKE THAT!" Finster yelled as he thrust his entire arm forward and hit the Turbo Megazord with so much force that it nearly knocked it off balance.

Sparks flew out of the Turbo Megazord, "Tommy, we're losing power," Tanya reported worriedly.

"We may need some help," Adam spoke up in an anxious voice, silently hoping that Rocky would forgive him for not coming to his aid. "Tanya, Kat, Laura, can any of you contact the Power Chamber?"

Divatox growled as she watched the fight from the telescope in the safety of her ship that orbited the Earth and was now prepared to leave Earth's orbit, "Rita's so pathetic with that magic stick of hers," she sneered as she watched the Turbo Mega Zord and Finster go at it. "It just makes monsters big."

"If you're really interested in defeating the Power Rangers, Divatox, I did find someone who could be more successful at it than that Andros freak was," a voice suddenly spoke from behind Divatox.

Divatox turned and to her displeasure, she saw Astronema standing there in a black catsuit with her multicolored hair tied up on top of her head, "Dark Spectre's furious that you lost Prince Andros and he wants me to help you destroy the Power Rangers," Astronema said in a fierce voice. He's also furious about what happened on Muranthias and he says that he'll do whatever he can to find that kid…"

"Billy Cranston died on Muranthias," Divatox scoffed. "Malcolm Lee Scott lost his powers…"

Astronema looked almost amused, "So, the Power Rangers are fighting with Rita and one of her monsters and the Power Chamber is unmanned," she replied in an amused voice. "Meaning what?"

"Meaning that Zordon is unguarded," Divatox replied in a shocked voice. "We don't have the power…"

Astronema grinned, "You don't have the power, but I do," she replied craftily. "Zhane, come forth!"

There was a flash and a young man whose appearance was hidden by a silver suit and there was a silver sword in his hand, "This is who you think will be able to get Zordon without interference?" Divatox asked in a skeptical, slightly amused voice. "He's just a teenager and can't be of any help…"

"Well, I found him on KO-35 after that little explosion and Dark Spectre says I can use him since you lost Prince Andros," Astronema hissed. "No doubt that Dimitria has found Prince Andros by now…"

Divatox snarled, but nodded, "Before I let you do this, you need to know who the Power Rangers are," she hissed, unaware that they were being watched from afar. "That way, you can destroy them."

In the Power Chamber, Jason found himself becoming more and more anxious about the Rangers and also about Malcolm, but he kept focused on looking at the Viewing Globe while Alpha switched it to different areas where Malcolm might have ended up. Zordon watched them silently.

A loud alarm suddenly filled the Power Chamber and a masked woman clad entirely in white appeared in the chamber with a well-dressed, blonde haired young man laying at her feet unconscious, "Dimitria!" Alpha cried out in an anxious voice. "Zordon, it's Prince Andros from the planet KO-35! Ai-yi-yi!"

"Divatox destroyed his home and attempted to use him against the Rangers," Divatox explained in a soft, yet concerned voice. "There are only ruins left on KO-35 and he is in need of help right now."

His worries temporarily forgotten, Jason walked over to where Andros lay, "Is there anything I can do to help him?" Jason asked in a concerned voice as he knelt down next to Andros. "I can't do much, but…"

"Jason Lee Scott, you have already done remarkable things for the future of this world by protecting it as a Power Ranger," Dimitria spoke, her eyes narrowing slightly as she smiled at Jason. "Even though you no longer have your powers, you have a life full of joy and success ahead of you for your service."

Jason nodded, but said nothing, "For now, Jason, it is best that you and Alpha leave the Power Chamber while it is still safe to do so," Dimitria said in a calming voice. "Zordon, Divatox and Astronema are plotting to capture the Power Chamber using an innocent being to do so. It is no longer safe here."

"Jason, I will send you and Alpha to separate, but safe places," Zordon replied calmly. "I will also send Andros to where he can be of help to others later on despite all that he has lost. Prepare to leave."

Swallowing hard, Jason nodded and stood up, "What about Malcolm?" he asked in a worried voice.

"Everything will be all right for you and your fellow Rangers," Dimitria replied calmly. "Be gone."

Before Jason could reply, he, Andros, and Alpha were teleported from the Power Chamber, "Zordon, you do not have much time," Dimitria said in an anxious voice. "Is there any safe place for you?"

"No," Zordon replied worriedly. "I want you to protect and preserve the Rangers since I will not always be able to."

"You kids need to get back to school pretty soon," Dr. Oliver said in a concerned voice as TJ, Cassie, Ashley, and Justin followed him out of the Youth Center holding Malcolm's crutches and Tommy's school bag, "I'll go back to Angel Grove High and see if Tommy and Malcolm have come back yet"

Ashley grabbed Tommy's bag, "Those bad people took Tommy and Malcolm," she replied in an anxious voice. "Is there any way we could call the Power Rangers to help us find them? They're cool."

"The Power Rangers are a myth," Cassie said in a snotty voice. "They're not real at all."

TJ's eyes widened, "Are you kidding me?" he asked in a shocked voice. "Of course they're real."

Justin didn't say anything, as he suddenly felt as if something was very wrong with both Malcolm and Rocky. He looked up to both of them as being the brothers he had never had while he saw Dr. Oliver, Tommy, Ashley, Adam, and Laura as part of the happy family that he had never gotten to have.

"Hey, Doctor Oliver, can I take the afternoon off of school and go visit Rocky?" Justin asked softly.

Dr. Oliver's eyes widened a bit, "No, you can visit Rocky after school," he replied firmly. "Okay?"

"We need some help here!" a voice suddenly filled the air. "They're too powerful for us!"

TJ's eyes widened as the sky suddenly went dark and loud cackling echoed across the sky, "YOUR POWERS ARE MINE!" Rita's voice shouted angrily as she continued to cackle. "YOU WILL LOSE!"

"The Power Rangers are in trouble!" Ashley piped up worriedly. "We have to help them somehow!"

Cassie frowned, "We don't even know where they are!" she yelled in an anxious voice. "How…?"

Suddenly, the ground began to shake and it was all anyone could do to just stay on their feet.

A moment later, the shaking stopped, "Kids, let's go back inside the Center," Dr. Oliver said anxiously. "All right?"

Back at the dig site, the Turbo Megazord was nearly drained of power because of the continued shots from the unusually powerful Finster. Rita had been slowly approaching the Hillards step by step, but both of them were also battling the rain that had begun to fall from the blackened clouds.

"I'VE HAD ENOUGH OF THIS!" Rita screamed as she raised her wand. "THIS IS YOUR END!"

Terrified that Katherine and Mark would have to also endure the pain of having their parents killed, Laura got up and jumped out of the Turbo Mega Zord before anyone could stop her. She jumped in front of Andrew and Katrina with her body in defensive position and Rita cackled, deeply amused.

"Do you really think you can stop me, Blue Ranger?" Rita snarled. "The last one couldn't…"

Swallowing hard, Laura pulled a small mirror out of her pocket and held it out in front of her just as Rita fired a red laser from her wand. The laser hit the mirror and, although it reflected off the mirror and hit FInster's giant form, it also caused the mirror to shatter and engulfed Laura in a pile of gray smoke.

"FINSTER!" Rita screamed as Finster exploded. "YOU WILL ALL PAY FOR DESTROYING FINSTER!"

The smoke cleared and Laura turned to Andrew and Katrina Hillard with an emergency device in her outstretched hand, "Take this and you'll end up safe in Angel Grove," Laura said an anxious voice, knowing that Katherine and Mark would be happy to see their parents alive. "Get out of here!"

"Thank you," Andrew replied in an anxious voice as he grabbed his wife and grabbed the device.

As Andrew and Katrina, disappeared, Rita pointed her magic wand at herself and grew to the same size as the Turbo Mega Zord, "LET'S TAKE THIS FIGHT BACK TO ANGEL GROVE!" she screamed angrily.

Laura quickly jumped back into the Turbo Mega Zord cockpit and frowned as every power system suddenly failed, "The Turbo Mega Zord's failed!" Katherine cried anxiously. "What do we do?"

Rita cackled and powered up her staff, "I'M GOING TO BLAST YOU INTO OBLIVION!" she roared.

Without warning, a masked figure in a white uniform that had all the Ninjetti animal symbols on the chest, appeared with a white staff in hand, "You will be the one blast into oblivion, Rita," a deep voice spoke as the figure thrust its staff forward. "Never again will you haunt the Earth or its defenders."

A beam of light shot out from the staff and engulfed Rita, causing her to vanish into oblivion.

"YOUR POWERS ARE STILL DOOMED!" Rita screamed as the sky suddenly reverted back to normal.

The figure then turned to the Turbo Megazord, "It is time for you to rest now, Rangers," it said as it waved its staff at the Turbo Mega Zord and caused it to vanish into thin air. "You have done a great service for the world this day."

Brightness filled Malcolm's eyes and he opened his eyes to find himself staring at the blue sky and it quickly dawned on him that he was laying on sand. He slowly sat up and saw that he wasn't far from the water and that the cast on his left foot was undamaged, but obviously had sand in and around it.

The sun was incredibly bright, but Malcolm could see a figure down the beach that was standing in the water, "HEY!" he shouted in as loud a voice as he could. "I NEED SOME HELP OVER HERE!"

For a moment, there was silence and then the figure turned and began coming towards him. As the figure came closer, Malcolm was both shocked and relieved to see that the figure was actually Jason.

"Jason, what are you doing here?" Malcolm asked in a shocked voice. "Where am I? I skipped…"

Jason nodded, "I was at the Command Center looking for you and Zordon sent me and Alpha away because some woman named Dimitria said there's gonna be trouble," he replied softly.

"The last thing I remember is sitting by a tree and being kidnapped by Divatox along with Tommy," Malcolm stated in a shaky voice. "My crutches are gone; Jason, can you help me? I can't walk…"

Again, Jason nodded and carefully helped Malcolm up, "I guess the Power Rangers went to save Katherine's parents and found out that Rocky's family was killed by Rita and Zedd," he explained as he helped his injured cousin across the sand towards the road. "We're on the beach somewhere, I think."

Malcolm and Jason's faces fell when they noticed a sign nearby that indicated that they were about five miles from the city limits, but still within the County of Angel Grove, "I'm sorry I haven't been really there for you since Billy's death, Malcolm," Jason said in an apologetic voice. "He was your friend too…"

"School was just too much today," Malcolm replied somberly. "Everyone I care about leaves me behind and I just realized that I'm not really as strong as I thought I was. I've not healed from my parents…"

Jason's eyes softened, "I know," he replied gently. "We can sit down with Mom and Dad and talk…"

Suddenly, a horn blared down the road and the sound of a revving engine caused Malcolm and Jason to turn just in time to see Bulk, whose face was concealed by a helmet, cruise down the road on his motorcycle that had a sidecar on it, "Bulk, what are you doing out here?" Jason asked in a confused voice as Bulk gaped at them. "Isn't there school?"

"School ended like an hour ago," Bulk replied in a confused voice. "Where were you two today?"

Jason shrugged and Malcolm sighed, "I couldn't handle school today," he replied, not caring if Bulk teased him or not anymore. "If you wanna make fun of that, go ahead; I'm beyond caring…"

Bulk's eyes widened in surprise and it was then that he noticed how pale both Jason and Malcolm were when they normally looked upbeat and healthy, "Do you two want a ride back to your house?"

"Jason, I want to go visit Rocky if that's okay," Malcolm said in a quiet voice. "He lost his family…"

Bulk frowned, "What?" he asked in a concerned voice. "Are you talking about Rocky DeSantos?"

"Yeah," Malcolm replied somberly. "Would you mind taking me to the hospital, Bulk? Jason…"

Jason sighed, "I'll come with you," he replied gently. "I'll phone Mom and Dad from there."

Grateful not to have to face Rocky alone, Malcolm nodded and kept quiet as Jason helped him sit on the back of the bike before he got into the small side car. Malcolm held tightly to Bulk so he wouldn't fall.

"Mark, Katherine, David?" a female accented voice rang out. "We've come to stay with you."

Mark was blind, of course, but the dream he had been having while resting on the recliner in the family room had been very real. He had been in a suit of some sort and had helped the Power Rangers defeat a strange looking witch, but it had just been a dream; there was no way he could do that being blind.

"Mark, Kat?" a male voice called out. "Katrina, perhaps they're not home from school yet."

Suddenly recognizing the voices of his mother and father, Mark slowly sat up and grabbed his cane before carefully getting to his feet, "Mum, Dad?" he called out, sweeping his cane in front of him as he navigated out of his bedroom and down the hall of the bungalow. "Where are you two at?"

A pair of arms suddenly wrapped themselves around him, "Mark, my beautiful boy!" a female voice said in a loving voice. "We almost didn't come home, but the Power Rangers saved us; how are you?"

Overwhelmed with surprise, Mark clung to his mother and didn't move even though the front door opened and closed again, "Mum, Dad," Katherine's voice spoke in a relieved tone. "You're safe."

"Katherine, are those tears in your eyes?" Mark heard their father ask gently. "What happened?"

As Katherine explained about Rocky losing his family, Mark felt his eyes filling with tears; he would be absolutely devastated if his parents were lost. It was only because of the Power Rangers that he was able to still have his parents in his life even though he couldn't see them. He was truly lucky.

"Mark, darling, are those tears in your eyes?" Mark heard his mother ask. "Oh, honey…"

Katherine sniffled and suddenly began to cry as she embraced Mark and her mother, "I just am so luck that I've got my whole family together again," she said in a tearful voice, hating that she could never tell her parents and Mark that it was her, Laura, and the rest of the Power Rangers who had saved them.

"Where's David?" Andrew Hillard asked in a concerned voice. "I'd like to thank him for…"

Katherine sighed, "David went out to the reservation for a few days to pack up his father's house," she replied in a gentle voice. "He'll be back in a few days and I was wanting to go visit Rocky at the hospital tonight, but I also want to be with all of you. I've been missing you a lot and I just need you all…"

"I'll call out for takeout and we'll have a quiet family dinner," Andrew said in a gentle voice as he walked over to the phone, not caring he still had to unpack the car. "After dinner, we'll talk about what to do."

"Skull?"

Physically and emotionally drained from crying over the death of Rocky's family and also putting off rest despite Detective Stone's pleas, Skull looked up from the floor and was surprised to see Adam and Tanya standing in the doorway with TJ, who was wearing scrubs, sneakers, and an ID badge.

"Oh, are you here to sit with Rocky a while?" Skull asked in a quiet voice as he slowly stood up and immediately grabbed to his IV pole for support. "I was getting tests when I heard about his parents…"

Adam and Tanya exchanged a concerned look and Skull's knees immediately buckled, "Easy," Adam said in a concerned voice as he hurried over and caught Skull. "How long have you been sitting in here?"

"I'm not sure," Skull replied in a faint voice as he gazed at Rocky's sleeping form. "A while, I guess."

Adam helped Skull walk over to the door, "Detective Stone went off to get some dinner and do errands and my parents are both working," Skull explained in a faint voice. "Kimberly didn't come today…"

"If you just hang on to your friend for a minute, I'll get a wheelchair," TJ offered in a gentle voice.

Tanya walked over to Rocky's bedside as TJ left the room, "Who's that?" Skull asked in a faint voice.

"My name's TJ Johnson," TJ replied calmly as he came back with a wheelchair. "I'm 15, but I'm just finishing up eighth grade this year at the junior high school. I'm a part-time volunteer and orderly…"

Skull nodded and let out a quiet sigh of relief as Adam helped him sit down, "Rocky's sleeping because he had some surgery a few hours ago," Skull explained shakily. "His cancer might have come back."

"What?" Adam asked in a horrified voice just as Rocky suddenly let out a groggy, semiconscious moan.

Skull swallowed hard, "I think I'd better go back to my room and lie down," he said in a shaky voice.

"I can take you back if you tell me where it is," TJ offered gently. "Adam, Tanya, you can stay…"

There was silence as TJ wheeled Skull out of the room, "I already told Doctor Oliver that I'm staying until visiting hours are over," Adam commented as he walked over to Rocky's bedside. "What about you?"

"David's out of town, so I don't have anyone else who cares about me being out late," Tanya replied in a gentle voice as she looked at Adam briefly before looking back at Rocky. "He lost his entire family…"

Adam sighed, "His parents and siblings, yes," he replied somberly. "However, Rocky's still got us."

"Rocky's still got us," Tanya whispered softly. "Even if we're not Rangers forever, he still has us."

It was slowly becoming dusk, but Laura didn't care and she silently continued to watch from afar as Ashley, Justin, and Cassie sat at a table near the Youth Center bar all doing their homework. After rescuing Katherine's parents, Laura had returned to school and the day had progressed normally.

The day had been long and taxing, but Katherine's parents had been spared the same fate as Rocky's family. It wasn't much of a victory and Laura found herself unable to be relieved because of the pain she was in as a result of being hit by Rita's beam. Her body, mind, and heart were all hurting immensely.

At some point, Laura knew that she would need to talk to Rocky and to the other Rangers about all they had done, but if she moved, her stomach would hurt. She needed help, but didn't know where to find it.

So deep in thought was Laura that she nearly jumped out of her chair when she felt a hand touch her shoulder and also knocked over the untouched glass of water that was on the table, spilling it all over her pants, the table, her backpack, and the floor. Deeply embarrassed, Laura grabbed her backpack from the floor and rushed from the common area, nearly knocking Dr. Oliver and Tommy over as she left.

"Laura?" Ashley said in an anxious voice, frowning when Laura disappeared into the girls' bathroom.

When nobody spoke, Ashley got to her feet, "Ashley, just give Laura a moment," Tommy spoke as Kimberly and Zack came into the Youth Center, freezing as they saw Tommy and Dr. Oliver there.

"Shut up, Tommy!" Ashley snapped. "Laura's been having nightmares and problems sleeping and you don't care about that! She still has nightmares about how our parents used to beat us and…"

Dr. Oliver looked both surprised and alarmed at Ashley's outburst, "What?" Cassie asked in a shocked voice as she stared at Ashley with wide eyes. "Your parents used to beat you and your big sister?"

Kimberly, meanwhile, silently slipped away from Zack and slipped into the girls' restroom only to find Laura sitting on the bench near the paper towel dispenser with a hand on her stomach, "Kimberly, what are you doing in here?" Laura asked in a pain-filled voice. "I didn't mean to have such a reaction…"

"I can understand what you've been through to a point," Kimberly replied softly. "When I was a prisoner of Rito, I was treated very poorly to the point where I didn't want anyone to ever think me human…"

Laura sighed and took a deep breath, "I haven't been around for the last few days because I've been staying in a spare bedroom in an apartment that Zack bought," Kimberly continued, saddened to see nothing but fear in Laura's tired eyes. "I've been having nightmares about the past too and I…"

"It's not about the past," Laura replied, cutting Kimberly off. "We were involved in a battle with Rita and Finster a few hours ago and I protected Kat's parents from harm, but Rita injured me with her wand."

Kimberly frowned, "How bad?" she asked, seeing that Laura was in pain. "Is it your stomach?"

Laura sighed, "It's like the injuries I received at the hands of my parents have flared up again and it takes everything I've got to keep going after that fight," she replied in a tired voice. "I've also had terrible nightmares that something is going to happen to Zordon; like, he won't be able to help us anymore."

"Do you think Divatox will do something to Zordon?" Kimberly asked in an anxious voice.

Laura shrugged, "I don't know, but I don't know how much longer the powers will be with Tommy, Adam, Kat, Tanya, and I," she replied in a voice filled with dread. "We're all going to graduate soon and I'm sure they've all got plans to travel and I was thinking of going to the local college for a while…"

"I thought you'd be sharing your plans with Jason?" Kimberly asked softly. "I know you like him."

Laura blushed and sighed, "I don't want to hold Jason back," she replied softly. "And I will if…"

Kimberly frowned as Laura's eyes filled with tears and she suddenly began to cry softly, "Come here," Kimberly said in a concerned voice as she gently pulled Laura into a gentle embrace. "Let it out."

All the lights were on at the Lee Scott home as Bulk's motorcycle pulled into the empty spot that was in the wide driveway, "I'll see you two at school," Bulk said in a quiet voice. "Have a safe night."

Jason quickly got out of the sidecar and helped Malcolm off the back of the bike, "Did you wanna come in for a bit and warm up, Bulk?" Malcolm asked, gazing at how pale Bulk looked. "It's supper time and…"

"No," Bulk replied nervously as the bike's engine suddenly sputtered and died. "Oh man…"

Swallowing hard, Bulk got off the bike and it promptly crashed to the driveway. Pieces went everywhere and as Bulk removed his helmet and scrambled to keep the pieces together, the front doors to the house opened wide and Thomas and Helen came out to the driveway. They had heard the sudden crash and had immediately become concerned.

"Jason, Malcolm!" Helen said in a relieved voice as she embraced both Jason and Malcolm warmly.

Thomas looked at Bulk, who had given the bike up for lost, and nodded, "Thank you for giving Jason and Malcolm a ride home," he said, concerned by how beat up the teen looked. "What's your name?"

"Farkas, sir," Bulk replied nervously as he took a step back. "I should really get going, you know?"

Thomas frowned, "It's kind of a bad night," he replied gently. "Would you like a ride home?"

Shaking his head, Bulk picked a bag up from the back of the bike, "I'll walk," he replied nervously.

"Bulk, you should at least come in for dinner after giving me and Jason a ride into town," Malcolm spoke up, sensing that not all was well in Bulk's world. "Oh, Dad, can we go visit Rocky tonight after supper?"

Thomas was quiet for a minute, as he, along with the rest of the emergency service workers in Angel Grove, had been alerted to the unexpected deaths of four members of the DeSantos family, "If you're feeling up to it, Malcolm," he replied calmly. "We do need to talk about your vacation from school…"

"It was just too much for me today," Malcolm replied quietly. "I'll apologize to Mister Caplan…"

Helen sighed and gave both Jason and Malcolm hugs, "Farkas, how about you come in for dinner and then I'll drive you home?" Thomas said in a gentle voice, smiling at Bulk. "We're having warm food…"

Reluctantly, Bulk followed Thomas, Helen, Jason, and Malcolm into the house with his bag slung over one shoulder, "Bulk, what happened to you?" Jason asked, his eyes widening at seeing multi-colored bruises around one of Bulk's eye while there was a blood stained bandana covering his forehead.

"I've been working hard in school lately and I walked into a door by accident," Bulk replied in a nervous voice, not moving away from the foyer. "Look, I appreciate your kindness, but I really do need to go."

Thomas frowned, "Jason, my extra supply bag is in the foyer closet," he said in a commanding voice, not wanting Bulk's injuries to get infected. "Farkas, I'm a paramedic; why don't you let me have a look at you and bandage you up a bit? Then, you can have a hot meal and I'll drive you back to your…"

"The shelter locks its doors at nine and I want to stop by the hospital and visit Skull first," Bulk replied, his eyes widening in horror at what he had just revealed in Jason and Malcolm's presence. "Oops…"

Jason frowned as he hurried over to the closet, opened it, and pulled out the bag of spare medical supplies that his father kept on hand for emergencies, "Farkas, why don't you sit on the couch and let me take a look at your forehead and eye?" Thomas gently suggested. "You can trust me, okay?"

Bulk stood there for a moment and then, letting out a sigh of surrender, he walked over to the couch.

"…Thank you for letting me know, Adam," Dr. Oliver spoke into the phone. "I'll see you at school."

There was a click and Dr. Oliver turned off the cordless phone and looked at Justin, who was in his pajamas and perched on the arm of the couch, "Rocky's asleep and Adam's going to stay the night with him because he's the closest thing to family available right now," he explained in a patient voice. "Now, Justin, it's nearly ten o clock and you have school tomorrow. Will you please go to bed for the night?"

Justin nodded and stood up, "I just can't believe those horrible monsters killed Rocky's family and they're not even sorry," he replied in an exasperated voice. "Now Rocky's all by himself in the world…"

Dr. Oliver gave Justin a parental look and Justin silently left the living room and went to his bedroom for the night since everyone else was already in bed. As he heard Justin's bedroom door close, Dr. Oliver sighed; he hadn't had the heart to tell Justin or even Ashley what Adam had said about Rocky's cancer relapsing. Laura, Ashley, and Tommy had come back an hour ago and he hadn't needed to tell Laura or Tommy, as he had a feeling they already knew about it.

It was bad enough that Rocky had to bury his family in a few days, Dr. Oliver thought as he sat in his easy chair trying to sort his thoughts, but to have to face another battle with cancer in the light of this tragedy was truly horrible.
