"Rita's at Dark Spectre's palace?" Zedd asked gruffly as he looked at Divatox, who stood in front of him looking amused at how weak Zedd had become in recent months. "Why does she not return to me?"

Divatox smirked, "Rita's got no power anymore and do you really think Dark Spectre is going to waste Zordon's power to bring her back to you when you can't even keep your own son from switching sides?" she asked in a disgusted voice. "Dark Spectre's giving you a last chance, however, to get the Rangers and also the power that is within that blind brat of yours. They will all be at a funeral today, won't they?"

"Rocky's family is being buried today," Zedd growled. "It's a shame that I didn't get to kill Rocky."

Divatox scoffed, "Get over it, Zedd," she replied scathingly. "You and Goldar have a job to do."

Zedd growled again and gasped when a staff appeared in his hands, "This is a gift from Dark Spectre to ensure that you don't fail," Divatox hissed. "Goldar will meet you at the funeral; now get going!"

"With pleasure," Zedd growled as Divatox disappeared. "Now it is time to make everyone pay!"

Four coffins, two large and two small, sat at the front of the large church near the pulpit where the minister stood in his holy robes. Pictures of Rocky's parents, younger brother, and younger sister sat on an elegantly decorated table with a vase of flowers on either side. Rocky sat alone in the front pew with only his suit for warmth, as he had forgotten his jacket at Dr. Oliver's house in his rush to leave early.

A black bandana covered his patches of hair, but Rocky hardly noticed it and struggled to stay awake as he sat there, deep in grief and thought about his lost family. He had just had a chemotherapy session the day before after school had let out and it was beginning to take its usual toll, but it would be terrible etiquette to fall asleep during the funeral, especially since most of Angel Grove would be in attendance.

"Can I get you anything while you wait, young Rocky?" the minister asked in a concerned voice.

Rocky shook his head and closed his eyes to block out a sudden headache, unaware that the minister had walked down the aisle to greet Malcolm and Jason, both of whom were in dark Sunday clothes and Malcolm was carrying Rocky's coat while Jason was carrying a large cup of what looked like a smoothie.

Malcolm and Jason silently made their way down the aisle, "Rocky?" Malcolm asked softly. "You okay?"

"Malcolm, what are you doing here?" Rocky asked in a tired voice as he opened his eyes. "Jason?"

Malcolm sighed patiently, "Adam called us and said that you left without your coat," he explained in a concerned voice as he offered Rocky the coat. "I know you've been staying over there for a while."

"I'm too tired to do much," Rocky replied softly, fighting back a yawn. "Had a chemo session yesterday."

Malcolm nodded and draped the coat over Rocky's shoulders, "We stopped by Doctor Oliver's and got your coat since Adam called us," he explained in a concerned voice. "Have you eaten anything today?"

"No appetite," Rocky replied in a tired voice. "Even the smell of dinner last night was too much."

Jason sighed and held out the cup, "My dad's been a paramedic for a long time and he made this for you because he figured you wouldn't have an appetite today," he explained in a gentle voice. "Try it."

Rocky made a face as he took the cup and opened the lid, "What is it?" he asked, taking a slow sip.

"It's a smoothie," Jason replied calmly. "It's made from fruits and it's good for settling stomachs."

Rocky nodded and took another sip before replacing the lid, "That's all I can handle right now," he replied in an apologetic voice. "I was sick last night and I was sick on the walk over here."

Jason frowned, "Can we sit next to you for a bit?" Malcolm asked softly. "You shouldn't be alone."

Rocky nodded and Jason and Malcolm immediately sat down, "I don't know how I'm going to get through today," Rocky said in a faint, tired voice. "I really don't want to face a crowd."

"Losing loved ones sucks, that's for sure," Malcolm commented softly. "You're not alone, though."

Rocky looked at Malcolm and Jason, "Are the others coming?" he asked in a tired voice.

"Doctor Oliver's going to bring Justin and Ashley and Adam, Tommy, Laura, and Tanya are all coming together," Jason replied having talked to Tommy on the phone. "Kat's coming with her family."

Rocky sighed tiredly, "Does Justin know why I'm sick?" he asked in a worried voice.

"As far as I know, he doesn't," Malcolm replied in a worried voice. "He's old enough to be told."

Rocky scoffed, "Justin's been through enough already," he replied gruffly. "I can't tell him."

"Rocky, you're not invincible and Justin would want to help you," Jason spoke up in a concerned voice, seeing that Malcolm was getting flustered by Rocky's unusual gruffness. "Let people help you."

Tears filled Rocky's eyes and he nodded, lowering his head so that nobody coming in would see him crying and try to comfort him, "Rocky, I'm sorry if I was rude," Jason apologized in a guilty voice.

"No, you're right," Rocky replied in a sorrowful voice. "I'm just not really good at grieving."

Malcolm offered Rocky a sad smile, "Nobody is," he replied in a somber voice. "Did you want to go outside for some fresh air before people start to arrive? It'll be about half an hour or so…"

Rocky nodded and slowly stood up, "You two go ahead," Jason replied softly, suddenly feeling the urge to think about Elsa and his lost powers. "I'll be out in a few minutes. I just need some time to think."

Feeling that Jason had a real need to be alone for a moment even though he didn't know why, Malcolm silently led Rocky out of the hall. Jason sighed, stood up, and walked over to a window to think. Ever since he lost his powers and saw Billy die, Jason knew that he hadn't been right and continuing to stay in Angel Grove around everything familiar was only reminding him of what had been taken away from him.

"Justin, are you almost ready to go?" Dr. Oliver asked as he knocked on Justin's closed door.

There was silence and then the door opened, revealing Justin in an old suit with his tie in his hand and a distressed expression on his face, "Doctor Oliver, can I talk to you?" he asked in a concerned voice.

"Of course you can, Justin," Dr. Oliver replied patiently. "Do you need help with your tie?"

Justin shook his head, "Can I ask you something?" he asked in a worried voice. "Something private?"

Dr. Oliver nodded and entered Justin's room, "I heard Rocky throwing up in the bathroom last night," Justin explained in a concerned voice as he put his tie on and tied it. "Why is Rocky so sick, Doctor O.?"

For a moment, Doctor Oliver was silent and sat down on Justin's bed, "Rocky's been acting really weird lately and I'm worried," Justin continued in a concerned voice. "He disappears after school until suppertime and he doesn't usually want to do anything after supper but hide in his bedroom."

Dr. Oliver looked concerned at that comment, but said nothing, "Rocky's sick and I'm upset that nobody's telling me anything about it," Justin said in an upset voice as he crossed his arms. "I'm not a little kid and I want to help Rocky feel better if I can. Why won't anyone tell me what's wrong?"

"Who's shouting?" Ashley asked as she poked her head into the room. "Justin, what's wrong?"

Justin sighed, "Nothing," he replied in an unusually sharp voice. "I just want to be left alone."

"Well, we'll be leaving in about 15 minutes or so," Dr. Oliver replied calmly, torn between protecting Rocky's privacy and telling Justin the truth. "I've got to go and make sure the car is ready to go."

Justin scoffed as Dr. Oliver stood up and then he became very somber, "Is Rocky dying?" he asked in a concerned voice, terrified that he would lose yet another role model. "You can tell me the truth."

Tears filled Justin's eyes and he turned away, hastily wiping his face on his sleeve, "Ashley, why don't you go see how Tommy, Adam, and Laura are coming along in getting ready?" Dr. Oliver asked in a gentle voice as he smiled at Ashley. "Tanya should be coming over to come with us very soon."

Ashley nodded and walked off down the hallway, "Justin, Rocky is not dying," Dr. Oliver replied in a gentle, but firm voice. "However, I can't tell you anything without violating Rocky's right to privacy."

"Can I have a minute?" Justin asked tearfully. "I don't like people seeing me cry."

Dr. Oliver nodded, "Of course," he replied calmly. "I'll be in the foyer if you need anything else."

Justin nodded and Dr. Oliver silently left the room, closing the door behind him to give Justin privacy while he cried, "…I don't mean to bother anyone, but Kim's insisting on going to the funeral and I just don't know if I'm welcome there," Dr. Oliver heard Skull say in a nervous voice. "Kim's in my car."

Dr. Oliver silently watched Adam at the door, "Mister Skullovitch?" he finally asked in a soft voice.

Skull, who was in a suit and tie, froze at seeing Dr. Oliver, "Sir?" he asked in a concerned voice.

"I don't see why you and Kim wouldn't be welcome at the service," Dr. Oliver replied in a gentle, reassuring voice. "Rocky and Kimberly were good friends and I'm sure that will be the same today."

Skull flinched as Tommy came into view in a suit and tie, "Is that Kimberly in your car, Skull?" Tommy asked in a concerned voice, shocked to see Kim dressed in a black dress with her hair in an updo.

"Yeah," Skull replied in a nervous voice. "She sorta asked me to look after her and I agreed to."

Tommy frowned, but didn't say anything, "Look, I don't want any trouble," Skull continued, worried that Tommy would try to fight him over Kimberly. "I'm just helping Kim get back on her feet right now."

There was suddenly an awkward silence as Laura and Ashley came into view, both of them wearing dark colored dresses, "Tommy, Adam, Eugene, what are you doing?" Laura asked softly, worried that Tommy and Skull were going to end up in a fight over Kimberly. "Eugene, can I ask how Kimberly is doing?"

Skull was quiet for a moment and sighed, "Not very well," he replied softly. "But that's all I can say."

"Wasn't Kim staying with Zack?" Adam asked in a concerned voice. "Why isn't she over there?"

Skull paled slightly, but said nothing, "Adam, Tommy, please go finish getting ready," Dr. Oliver cut in in an unusually firm voice. "Ashley, go see if Justin is ready to go. I suspect Tanya will be here very soon."

Adam and Ashley walked off, but Tommy didn't move, "Tommy, please," Laura said anxiously.

For a moment, Tommy hesitated and then he walked off, "Laura, Kim wants to talk to you and I don't know why, but she does," Skull said in a quiet voice. "If it's okay with Doctor Oliver, that is."

"Laura's old enough to make her own decisions," Dr. Oliver replied gently. "If you want to, Laura…"

Even though Laura felt slightly uneasy about talking to Kimberly, she nodded and followed Skull outside to his parked car, "Laura, I didn't think you'd see me," Kimberly said, gazing up out of the open window.

"Eugene said you wanted to talk to me?" Laura asked in a cautious voice. "What about?"

Skull cautiously lingered by the hood of the car while Kimberly and Laura talked, but Tommy was watching the conversation from his bedroom window. He had a phone in his room and that made it easy for him to contact Jason and share his concerns about Kimberly reaching out to Laura once again.

"Rocky, Malcolm, what are you two doing out here?" Rocky heard Katherine say in a worried voice.

Rocky opened his eyes and saw Katherine, Mark, David, and Mr. and Mrs. Hillard standing in front of the church in dark clothes, "The fresh air helps," Rocky replied softly. "Malcolm said it would."

"Well, Malcolm seems like he would be the best person to help you at this time," Mrs. Hillard said in a comforting voice as she gave Rocky a warm hug. "Oh, Rocky, you're holding up remarkably well."

Even though Rocky was slightly uncomfortable at being touched just at that moment, he nodded politely as Mrs. Hillard let him go, "Thank you, Mrs. Hillard," he replied in a polite voice. "How are all of you?"

"Don't you worry about us, dear boy," Mrs. Hillard replied soothingly. "Dear, let's go find seats."

As Mr. and Mrs. Hillard moved into the church, Katherine smiled at Rocky, "I'm really sorry about your parents, Rocky," Mark spoke up in a somber voice as he held out his hand, hoping Rocky was nearby.

"Thanks," Rocky replied softly, reluctantly shaking Mark's hand. "Thank you guys for coming today."

Katherine nodded, "We're your friends," she replied reassuringly. "You're not alone in this, Rocky."

Rocky nodded and sighed tiredly, "I'm gonna go see if Jason still has that smoothie," he said in a tired voice as he self-consciously brushed his suit off. "I kinda also have to finish writing my eulogy."

As Rocky walked off, Malcolm looked at Katherine, "Rocky finished his eulogy yesterday, but my guess is that he doesn't want people to see him get sick," he explained calmly, having been around Rocky long enough to know when Rocky was feeling sick. "Adam said that Rocky wasn't feeling well today."

"Oh, poor Rocky," Katherine replied in a compassionate voice. "We should all do something for him."

Malcolm grinned, "Actually, Detective Stone is gathering volunteers after the service to help Rocky go through his family's house and people are bringing food over there," he replied gently. "I know it's an odd time to be doing that, but Rocky pretty much wants to get everything taken care of quickly."

"Malcolm, I mean we should take Rocky on a camping trip or a trip somewhere fun where he can forget all the bad stuff for a while," Katherine replied in an amused voice as she patted his cheek. "Spring break is coming up pretty soon and I'm sure we can kidnap Rocky for a few days and get him to relax a bit."

Malcolm nodded and smiled as he spotted TJ, Cassie, and Carlos coming up the walk in dark clothes that didn't look fancy, but did look appropriate for a funeral, "Malcolm, Kat, do you think Rocky will mind if we come to the service?" TJ asked softly. "We didn't really know Rocky's family, but we know Rocky."

"I'm sure Rocky will be grateful for all the support he can get," Katherine replied encouragingly.

TJ nodded just as a car came down the street and parked at the curb near the church. A moment later, a nervous looking Skull got out of the car and quickly let Kimberly out before offering his hand to her.

"Kimberly, Skull, hi," Katherine replied calmly as Kim and Skull walked over to them. "How are you two?"

Kimberly, however, didn't reply and Skull sighed, "We're fine," he replied nervously. "Kim, you ready?"

Averting her gaze from Katherine, Kimberly gave Malcolm a look as she and Skull went into the church and Malcolm cringed, "Kim's changed a lot," he replied in a concerned voice. "And where's Zack?"

Before Katherine, who was also concerned about Kim, could reply, Dr. Oliver's car came down the street and parked near an empty curb. Dr. Oliver, Tommy, Laura, Tanya, Justin, Adam, and Ashley all got out and the younger ones walked over to Kat, Malcolm, Kim, and Skull while Dr. Oliver locked the car.

Tommy and Kimberly gazed at each other for a moment and then Kimberly looked at Skull, "Can we go inside please?" she asked in a quiet, but anxious voice. "I want to give my condolences to Rocky."

"Sure," Skull replied softly, ignoring the glare from Tommy as he led Kimberly off into the church.

Laura glanced at Tommy before she looked at Justin and Ashley, "Justin, Ashley, let's go find some seats," she said in an uneasy voice. "Tanya, Kat, TJ, Cassie, Carlos, do you want to come with us?"

Before anyone could protest, Laura, Tanya, and Kat led TJ, Cassie, Carlos, Ashley, and Justin into the church, "Tommy, you really need to calm down," Adam spoke softly. "I know you're uncomfortable."

"It's really uncomfortable for me to see Kim and Laura acting like friends after Kim tried to hurt Laura," Tommy replied in an uneasy voice. "I don't know how Laura can be so forgiving to Kimberly."

Dr. Oliver sighed, "Tommy, when you came out of that spell that Rita had you under, I and many of your friends forgave you without a second thought," he replied calmly. "Besides, it's not really appropriate to be thinking about those things today; today is about being there to help Rocky through his grief."

"Guys, we should get inside and get seats before the church fills up," Adam spoke up nervously, noticing that more cars, including Detective Stone's, were beginning to fill the church's large parking lot.

Suddenly ashamed of himself, Tommy nodded and silently walked into the church with Adam and his uncle, not noticing that a nervous and well-dressed Bulk was also sitting in Detective Stone's car.

Organ music filled the packed church as the minister gazed out at the crowd with his Bible open to some verses that he hoped would console the grieving young man sitting in the first row, "Ladies and gentlemen, we gather today to remember the four members of the DeSantos family whose lives were mercilessly taken by an unexpected and devastating monster attack," he said in a somber voice. "I will commence the service with a prayer and a reading and then a hymn will be sung before we…."

Suddenly, the earth began to quake violently and loud, familiar cackles filled the church, smashing all the windows and the glass on the framed pictures of Rocky's family. Goldar and Zedd appeared at the front of the church and the entire room of people screamed and began to try and leave quickly.

"YOU EARTHERS ARE ALL SO WEAK AND AFRAID!" Zedd roared as he zapped his staff at the ceiling, causing debris to fall and barely miss hitting people. "LET ME SHOW YOU SOME TRUE POWER!"

In the midst of the chaos, TJ, Cassie, Ashley, Justin, and Carlos quietly slipped out of the back pew of the church and around to a side of the church where they wouldn't be seen morphing into Turbo Rangers.

"Red Turbo Power!" TJ shouted as he thrust his Morpher out in front of him. "Let's jump into action!"

Carlos nodded, "Green Turbo Power!" he shouted, thrusting his Morpher out in front of him.

"Yellow Turbo Power!" Ashley shouted, inhaling sharply as she thrust her Morpher out in front of her.

Justin gritted his teeth, "Blue Turbo Power!" he shouted, hoping that Rocky wouldn't get hurt.

"Pink Turbo Power!" Cassie shouted anxiously as she thrust her Morpher out in front of her.

Fully disguised by their Morph suits, the five Turbo Rangers hurried back into the church and saw that most of the crowd was trying to get out, but several people were still at the front, "AH, THE POWER RANGERS!" Zedd roared in an amused, but angry voice. "I FIGURED THEY'D COME TO RUIN THIS!"

"Let's go," Jason said in an anxious voice as he stood up and held his arms out in front of where Malcolm, Rocky, Laura, Tanya, Katherine, Tommy, and Adam were sitting. "Guys, you need to go."

Before any of them could leave, however, Goldar started walking over to where Mark was sitting with his parents, "MARK, RUN!" Katherine shouted, knowing that all Zedd wanted was to take Mark away.

Knowing that Mark wouldn't be able to make it through the crowd in time, Rocky got up and quickly got himself between Goldar and Mark, "ROCKY!" Justin shouted in an anxious voice. "GET OUT OF THERE!"

"Why don't you buzz off, Goldar?!" Rocky hissed, spitting at Goldar as he held his arms out defensively.

Goldar cackled and Zedd promptly fired his staff at Rocky, throwing the already weakened young man across the church and on to the hard floor, rendering him unconscious. Full of rage at Rocky being hurt, Justin charged forward and began hitting Goldar as hard as his power would allow him to.

"LET'S TAKE THIS OUTSIDE!" Ashley roared in an angry voice. "LEAVE ALL THESE PEOPLE ALONE!"

Goldar cackled and Zedd walked over to where Rocky lay unconscious in front of a trembling Mark, who was leaning heavily on his cane, "If you come with me now, boy, the fight will be over," he grunted in an aggressive voice, knowing that Mark wouldn't be useful to Dark Spectre because of the blindness.

"Why would I go with you, you metallic moron?" Mark replied coldly. "I have no need to be evil."

Goldar's eyes widened as TJ and Carlos jumped high in the air and came at him with corkscrew kicks that barely missed hitting the fleeing crowd. As Goldar found himself falling to the floor, Ashley and Cassie came forward and assumed defensive postures, ready to attack Zedd if he tried to hurt anyone else.

"Oh, Zedd, this is so amusing to watch," Divatox said in an annoyed voice as she suddenly appeared at the front of the room where the priest, who had fled to call for emergency services, had been. "I didn't say you could use the power I gave you to mess around. You're supposed to be kidnapping that brat!"

Mark gasped, but said nothing, "It doesn't matter if you kidnap him anyway," Divatox snapped in a malicious voice as she gazed at the Turbo Rangers and the remaining crowd. "Even without that blind brat's powers, we still have enough power from Zordon to dominate the galaxy and conquer Earth!"

Zedd cackled, "GOLDAR, COME!" he roared, eager to see Rita again and get on with galactic domination.

Goldar whined, but obediently vanished from the church with Zedd, "You're too late to save Zordon and your precious Earth, Power Pukes," Divatox hissed as she vanished. "Consider your duty failed."

There was a heavy silence as Katherine came over and helped Mark away from Rocky, "I think the minister went to call for an ambulance," Adam said in a concerned voice. "Where did…?"

Adam fell silent as he heard TJ, Cassie, Ashley, Carlos, and Justin trying to calm and organize the group of terrified people outside, "Stabilize Rocky's neck," Malcolm said in a concerned voice as he looked at Jason. "I'm going outside to try to find Mom and Dad and explain what's going on in here."

Swallowing hard, Jason walked over and knelt at Rocky's head, being very careful as he stabilized Rocky's neck, "We should clean up the pictures too," Laura spoke up softly. "Rocky will want them."

There was a heavy silence as Detective Stone and Bulk came into the chapel, "The Power Rangers have the frightened crowd under control," Detective Stone stated calmly. "Emergency services are coming."

Instead of helping Laura and Tanya pick up the pictures, Katherine led Mark over to an empty bench and sat him down to try and help him stop trembling, "Kat, something's going to happen very soon," Mark whispered so only Katherine could hear. "When I have to leave, can you look after Mom and Dad?"

"Yes, Mark," Katherine replied softly, knowing that Mark would soon have a bigger part to play.

"Justin, wake up," Justin heard a gentle voice say as he felt someone gently shaking his shoulder.

Justin opened his eyes and realized that he had fallen asleep in a chair beside Rocky's bed, "Justin?" he heard a gentle voice ask in a concerned tone. "You took off from the church without telling anyone…"

Yawning, Justin looked up and was surprised to see Dr. Oliver standing beside the bed still in the suit he had worn to the funeral with a concerned expression on his face, "I snuck over here so that Rocky won't be alone when he wakes up," Justin replied groggily. "I know I should have said where I was going."

Dr. Oliver merely smiled and Justin gazed at Rocky solemnly. Rocky was in bed with a hospital gown and blanket covering his body, a bandage covering his head, electrodes covering his chest, and IV's in his arms while a clip was on his left index finger, "Why are there things on Rocky's chest, Doctor Oliver?" Justin asked in a confused voice as he looked up at the man he considered a father figure.

Before Dr. Oliver could reply, Rocky moaned softly and blinked open his eyes, "Justin, Doctor Oliver?" he asked in a groggy voice as he saw Justin and Dr. Oliver standing there. "Where am I? What happened?"

"You're in the hospital, Rocky," Dr. Oliver replied calmly. "You were knocked unconscious by Zedd."

Rocky winced as pain shot through his body and he noticed the electrodes on his chest, "I just had chemotherapy yesterday and now I'm back in the hospital," he said in a groggy, frustrated voice.

Justin frowned, "Rocky, what's chemotherapy?" he asked in a confused voice. "Is it medicine?"

"Yeah, Justin, it's medicine," Rocky replied in a groggy voice. "It's a treatment given to cancer patients."

Dr. Oliver frowned as Justin's eyes widened, "Cancer?" Justin asked softly. "You have cancer?"

"Yeah," Rocky replied in a groggy, somber voice as he gazed at Justin. "But it's treatable."

Even though Justin wanted to cry over the fact that one of his 'big brothers' was sick with a terrible illness that would be hard to beat, he nodded just as a nurse came in, "Ah, Mister DeSantos, it's good to see you awake," she said in a cheerful voice. "Several of your friends have been asking about you."

Rocky nodded and sighed tiredly, "I think that Rocky just needs to rest and maybe have a light supper tonight," Dr. Oliver spoke up gently, knowing that Rocky didn't know how to refuse any visitors. "Rocky, I talked to your doctor on my way up and you have a bump on the head and broken ribs."

"Okay," Rocky replied tiredly. "I'm really not that hungry, actually. Am I allowed to sleep for the night?"

The nurse nodded and Dr. Oliver sighed patiently, "Justin, I think it's high time we go home so you can have dinner and do your homework," he said in a gentle, but firm voice. "Adam's going to stay with you, tonight, Rocky and Detective Stone will check in on you two. I'll be back in the morning to visit, okay?"

Justin stood up but looked reluctant to leave, "Justin, can you listen well for Doctor Oliver?" Rocky asked in a tired voice, fighting hard to stay awake. "When I'm feeling better, we'll do something fun, okay?"

"Okay," Justin replied softly as he gently gave Rocky a hug before walking away. "Have a good night."

As Dr. Oliver led Justin from the room, Rocky blinked tiredly and fell into a deep slumber, barely missing seeing Adam, who had taken the bus over to the hospital, enter the room holding a two backpacks.

"Kat, this is far enough," Mark spoke softly as he felt a breeze brush across the back of his neck.

Katherine nodded and stopped on the sand, not far from where she had parked the truck after giving in to Mark's pleas to stop by the beach before going by Dr. Oliver's to visit with everyone who had gathered to discuss the funeral and what had happened to ruin it, "This is a nice night, isn't it?"

"Mark, what's going on?" Katherine asked softly as Mark stretched his cane out. "What's wrong?"

Mark sighed heavily, "Kat, it's time for me to go and be of help in another place for a little while," he replied gently, releasing Kat's arm and extending his hand. "The Power Rangers will need help."

"How will I explain your absence to Mom, Dad, and everyone else?" Katherine asked worriedly.

Mark chuckled, "It'll take care of itself, I think," he replied calmly. "I love you and I'll see you soon."

Suddenly, a golden glow came down from the sky and completely enveloped Mark, but Katherine found that she wasn't afraid as she watched the golden beam go upward and vanish into the darkening sky.

However, as Kat walked back to the truck, tears pricked at her eyes and she softly began to cry.

Tommy sighed as he picked up another piece of pizza from the box that was closest to the couch, "I hope Rocky's going to be okay," he said in a tired voice. "I can't believe Adam got to go over to the hospital and the rest of us didn't. Rocky's had a horrible day and we could all cheer him up."

"Tommy, you have to remember that Rocky's had a horrible day," Tanya spoke up in a concerned voice as she took a drink from the glass of water she was holding. "Adam's his best friend and Rocky would really get overwhelmed with all of us there. It's probably why Jason didn't come over here tonight."

Laura quickly got up out of the chair she had been sitting in with Ashley, "Ashley, okay, you've had enough pizza and it's time for you to do any homework you haven't done yet," she said in a gentle voice as she gazed at Ashley, who had since changed into yellow pajamas. "How much homework is left?"

"Just an English worksheet," Ashley replied tiredly as she stood up. "Can you help me with it, Laura?"

Laura smiled and put her arms around Ashley, "I want you to try your best on it first and I'll help you if there's anything you don't understand," she replied gently, but firmly. "It won't take you too long."

Ashley nodded, hugged Laura, and silently left the den, "Tommy, you have to understand that Rocky probably just wants peace and quiet tonight," Laura spoke softly. "The day was rough on him."

"Speaking of the day, Laura, what did you and Kim talk about?" Tommy asked in a gruff voice.

Laura raised her eyebrows in shock, "Honestly, Tommy, you have to let your hate for Kimberly go," she replied in a calm, but firm voice as she moved towards the doorway. "I know you two were close, but things happened and you're not close to each other anymore. You need to focus on moving on."

Tommy's eyes widened in surprise, but he didn't say anything, "Tanya, can you help me clean the pizza boxes up before Doctor Oliver gets back?" Laura asked in a gentle voice as she stood up, walked over to the coffee table, and began closing the pizza boxes. "We can put them in the kitchen for now."

Tanya nodded and helped Laura gather the pizza boxes, "I think I'm going to go for a walk," Tommy announced in a tired voice as he stood up. "The gathering's been nice, but I just need some space."

"Tommy, seriously, it's too late to be out walking around," Laura spoke up worriedly. "Just stay here."

Tommy's eyes narrowed for a moment and then he silently slunk off down the hallway to his room, needing to be alone with his thoughts, "I should probably get ready to go since Kat's supposed to be coming by and picking me up," Tanya spoke up as they carried the boxes into the kitchen and set them neatly on the counter so Dr. Oliver and Justin could have some pizza. "She and Mark were going to go on a drive and then they were going to come over here to pick me up. It shouldn't be very long…"

The phone suddenly rang and Laura quickly answered it, "Kat?" she asked, hearing Kat's voice speak.

Laura was quiet as Katherine explained what had happened on the beach and that she was going home instead of over to Dr. Oliver's house before hanging up, "That was Kat," Laura explained as she hung up the phone and put it back on the cradle. "Kat was at the beach with Mark and he just disappeared."

"Disappeared?" Tanya asked in a concerned voice. "What do you mean that Mark disappeared?"

Laura sighed, "Kat said he went to find help for the Power Rangers," she replied in a somber voice.

Tanya's eyes widened in shock, but she merely helped Laura to stack the pizza boxes in silence.

Torrential rain quickly drenched Mark as he felt his sneakers touch the ground and he immediately stretched his cane out to try and see where it was safe to walk. Ignoring the rain and accompanying cold, Mark slowly moved across the ground with one hand out to feel what was around him.

Not far from where Mark was, a large figure covered by a cloak was watching him with a great deal of curiosity, "Oh ho, young man, you look a little lost and wet," the figure commented commandingly.

"Who said that?" Mark asked in a nervous voice as he looked around for where the voice came from.

There was a heavy silence and then Ninjor, who was clad in a cloak, suddenly came out from behind a group of trees, "I can hear footsteps," Mark commented nervously. "Please, where are you?"

Ninjor was silent for a moment, "You cannot see me, can you?" he asked in an intrigued voice.

"I can't see anything, but I can hear you, sir," Mark replied, recognizing the voice to be male.

Ninjor chuckled and held out his arm, "Reach your hand out and you will feel my arm," he instructed gently, sighing as Mark gingerly touched his arm. "Grip it harder than that; you will not hurt me."

"Where am I?" Mark asked nervously as Ninjor led him across the ground. "And who are you?"

Ninjor, however, said nothing as he led Mark into a building whose hallways were only lit by torches engraved with Ninjetti symbols. At the end of the hallway, Ninjor led Mark into a large room that was decorated like a single bedroom, but also had a fighting mat and other furniture in the room.

"What is your name, young man?" Ninjor asked as he looked at Mark. "You look awfully young."

Mark swallowed hard, "Mark Hillard, sir," he replied nervously. "Can you tell me your name?"

"I am Ninjor, Master Warrior of Phaedos," Ninjor replied calmly. "What caused you to be blind?"

Mark gripped his cane anxiously, "I was blinded by a monster named Ivan Ooze while under a terrible spell put on me by a monster named Lord Zedd," he replied somberly as he began to feel tired. "Terrible things have happened on Earth and I felt like I could help the Power Rangers, but I can't see…"

Trembling anxiously over the memories of Zedd and Ivan Ooze, Mark released Ninjor's arm and sank to his knees, "You do not need your eyes to show the desire of your heart," a softer voice suddenly spoke.

Mark, however, bowed his head and said nothing as footsteps approached him, "There is more to a warrior than the ability to see with their eyes," he heard a female voice say. "Why do you tremble?"

"The memories are so terrible," Mark replied anxiously as he felt a hand touch his wet forehead.

Dulcea studied Mark for a moment and then silently took hold of his free hand, "Your desire to seek help for the Power Rangers comes from your heart and that is why you came to Phaedos," she said in a comforting voice, carefully helping Mark to his feet. "You are to be the help for the Power Rangers."

Mark froze, "How can I be of help to them?" he asked in a confused voice. "I don't know a whole lot."

"That is why you are here, Mark," Dulcea replied, gently caressing his cheek. "You shall be taught."

Dulcea's face softened considerably as Mark nodded slowly, "For now, though, you must rest so that you have the strength to be taught," she said in a motherly voice. "We shall talk again very soon."

Mark felt Ninjor's hand on his arm and silently allowed himself to be led away. Dulcea silently left the room and kept walking until she was outside; she sighed deeply and gazed up at the dissolving clouds.

"Faith has brought Mark back to me alive," Dulcea spoke softly. "I will help him become who he is meant to become."

Jason sighed as he sat at the family computer, silently looking at a website for a college in New York that had a top rated Fire and Emergency Services program. It was two years of classroom and practical education that led to automatic employment with FDNY after successful completion of the program. After being a Power Rangers, he found that helping others was rewarding.

Letting out a tired sigh, Jason silently printed off an application and hoped that his parents or Malcolm wouldn't wake up at the sound of the printer. Although he loved Angel Grove, Jason thought silently, everything that had happened lately had made him wonder if it wasn't time for a little time away. It would be different, but maybe he needed the break from everything.

"Jason?" Jason suddenly heard Malcolm ask in a tired voice as footsteps came down the hallway. "What are you doing up?"

Jason looked up from the computer and was surprised to see Malcolm come into the computer room in his pajamas with a slipper over his left foot, "My foot was bothering me, so I decided to take a walk around the house," Malcolm explained in a gentle voice as he sat in the easy chair near the door.

"I was thinking about what I'll do after graduation," Jason confessed as he turned to face Malcolm. "Can I tell you about it?"

Malcolm nodded and lifted his foot to rest on the ottoman, but didn't say anything, "I've been looking around at colleges that offer good paramedic training programs and I found one in New York," Jason explained, pulling the printed application off the printer. "I think I'm going to apply for next fall and if I get in, I'm going to go and do my best to learn what I can there."

"Maybe going to New York will help you feel better about everything," Malcolm replied calmly. "You haven't been yourself."

Jason nodded, grateful that Malcolm was understanding about his thoughts, "No matter where you go and what you do, we'll always be family, Jason," Malcolm replied calmly. "That will never ever change."

"That's for sure," Jason replied, giving Malcolm a grateful smile for offering his unconditional support.
