A/N: Kensi and Deeks spend Christmas in their new home. Just a big old ball of fluff.

"I'll be home for Christmas," Deeks sang quietly in Kensi's ear. She laughed, leaning into his chest as they swayed in a small circle to the sound of Bing Crosby. The room was dark except for the multicolored lights from their Christmas tree, which cast a glow across Kensi's face.

"Mm, it's not much of a home yet," she said, glancing around at the bare walls and empty floors of their new house. So far they'd only managed to move a few boxes with enough personal belongings to get them through a couple weeks and their bed.

"What are you talking about?" Deeks lifted a hand off Kensi's back, gesturing to the tree. "A Christmas tree is about as homey as you can get."

"I guess. It would be nice if we had some place to sit down."

"We can lay under the tree," he suggested, nuzzling his nose into her shoulder for a second.

"Then we'll get pine needles all over our clothes," Kensi said. She yelped, giggling as Deeks suddenly dipped her low to the ground, whispering in her ear.

"Not if we take them off."

"Uh-uh, that present doesn't come until tomorrow." She was still giggling though, even as she half-heartedly pushed his roaming hands away. Finally giving in, she allowed him to kiss her and looped her arms around his neck.

Several minutes later they were breathing a little heavily and the song had switched twice. "Silver Bells" was on now, a little melancholy and sweet, and they started dancing again.

"Even though this year has been crazy and hard and ridiculous, you know I wouldn't want to spend it with anyone but you, right?" he asked, looking down at Kensi, hoping she could see the love in his eyes. Sometimes it still felt like his heart could crumble into tiny pieces with the strength of his love for her. It was simultaneous a wonderful and terrifying sensation.

As Kensi trailed the back of her hand down his cheek, he kissed her palm, and she cupped his jaw, brushing his chin with her thumb.

"I know," she said softly. "And I am so grateful that I get to have you by my side through all of this too. You made all the terrible moments bearable and I realized that even if we lost everything, I would still have you."

"Even if we end spending Christmas on the floor and eating cold chicken soup?"

"That actually sounds pretty wonderful right now." Deeks grinned, leaning down to kiss her. When they parted, Kensi added, "And who knows, maybe next Christmas we'll have another little Deeks to be thankful for."

As they danced to the rest of the playlist, Deeks couldn't imagine a more perfect moment.
