A/N: Happy final day of Densimber everyone! I can't believe it's almost over. It's been a wild ride, at least from my side of things. I appreciate all your love and support for my stories.

And thank you to mashmaiden, the creator and master organizer of this event. Thanks for all the ideas, encouragement, and fixing up pretty pictures for me to use, among other things. Oh, and of course, finding a great many typos.

I may have changed the timeline on things a little bit to make things work.

"Alright, time for resolutions!" Callen called cheerfully across the bar. He was wearing a slightly lopsided Santa hat and had a partial glass of champagne in one hand. Ever since he'd proposed to Anna, and she'd eventually accepted, he'd been in an exceptionally and rarely seen good mood.

Anna hadn't made it in yet, but was supposed to arrive soon. Deeks couldn't wait to see her expression when she saw her slightly tipsy fiancé.

"Oh my god, are we really doing resolutions?" Nell said loudly, but lifted her glass anyway. She was dressed in a sparkly gold dress with poofy sleeves and a garland made of little bows on her head.

It was certainly the most striking outfit of the night and every time Deeks saw her, it made him smile.

Eric had come with a friend from work, a purely platonic friend, he was sure to stress. She was pretty much the antithesis of Eric, quiet and reserved, but she'd managed to strike up a conversation with Julia and seemed to be enjoying herself.

Despite his protests, Callen, Eric, Sam, and Nell had all insisted on chipping in to rent the bar for this year's annual New Year's party. Deeks hated the idea of charity, but they would not take no for an answer. Hetty had even chipped in by leaving an open tab for the night, even though she'd yet to make an appearance.

He noticed Kensi come out of the backroom, returning with a new stack of plates and napkins, and snuck up behind her, wrapping his arms around her waist.

"Hey, did I mention how gorgeous you look tonight?" he asked, sneaking a kiss beneath her jaw.

"This dress is at least three years old," she pointed out, sounding amused as she craned her head to look at him.

"And each time you wear it, you look more stunning than the last." Kensi turned in his arms, rolling her eyes, but he noticed she looked vaguely pleased.

"How much have you had to drink, babe?" He dipped her back, kissing her lightly.

"Maybe I'm just drunk on love," he suggested as he lifted her upright again.

"You are completely ridiculous," she said. Her smile was soft though as she trailed her fingers through his recently shortened hair. "But I'm glad you're happy." She smacked his butt, her movement covered by snack table. "Now quit stealing kissed before midnight.

"I am very happy," he agreed. Happier than he had been in some time.

A few feet away, Arkady, having been encouraged by Nell, was loudly arguing against Callen's resolution suggestion. Apparently resolutions didn't align with his drinking plans for the New Year.

"Then how about a nice, traditional toast," Sam suggested, cutting the argument short before it could get completely out of hand. He turned towards Kensi and Deeks, gesturing for them to come over. "You wanna do the honors man?"

"Speech!" Nell called through her cupped hands as Sam pushed Deeks and Kensi to the center of the room and then went join Kat at a table.

"Well, uh, I didn't exactly plan anything," he glanced back at Kensi who looped her arm through his, nodding encouragingly. "But, um, I am very grateful that you're all here today. This has been an incredibly hard year for all of us and I don't think we'd be here if we didn't have each other."

Deeks looked at each person in the room, feeling an overwhelming amount of gratitude and love. He cleared his throat noisily, trying to dislodge the sudden lump in his throat.

"And I'm," he turned to Kensi, pulling her closer. "We," he amended. "We are so grateful for the support and love you've shown us in the last few months."

"To family," Kensi added, raising her glass, leaning into his side.

"To family," everyone echoed.

As they all clinked glasses, Eric pulled up Auld Lang Syne on his phone. It wasn't quite midnight yet, but no one seemed to care. With everyone distracted again with kissing and drinking, Kensi took his hand and they snuck away to a dark corner of the room where they swayed together in one another's embrace.

He really was a lucky man.
