Chapter 53 The Test
I don't own Kamen Rider Kabuto or My Hero Academia
Kabuto was with his class as they trained using they're special moves many times.
We've been getting better using them and i'm sure we can do it. Kabuto thinks to himself.
"That's enough Class A!" They saw Vlad King with Kendo and Monoma.
"Today, Class B has been scheduled to use this place in the afternoon." He said.
"Class B?" Izuku said.
"Oh great these guys." Kabuto said. "Hey Kendo."
"Hey!" She smiles at him.
"Eraser, hurry up and get out of the way!" Vlad said.
"We still have some almost ten minutes. You're not good at using time wisely, Vlad." Aizawa said.
"Hey, you know? The provisional license exam has 50% fail rate. All of you should just fail!" Monoma said.
Kabuto was looking around before he looks at Monoma. "Huh? Did you say something?"
Monoma falls down while Kaminari and Kirishima laughed.
"That was great!" They said.
"Also why are you here, the teachers said we're going to different areas in our tests." Kabuto said.
"Huh?!" Most said.
"That's right. It seems you weren't paying attention." Aizawa said.
"The hero licensing exam takes place each Jun and September at three different locations across the country at the same time. In order to avoid students from the same school fighting each other, all schools subscribe to the theory and splitting up their students by time or location." Vlad said.
"Whew. It's unfortunate that we want fight against each other directly!" Monoma said.
"Saying whew doesn't make you a threat. In fact your more of a joke than Yoshiko." Kabuto said.
"Alright!" Yoshiko spins around and stomps Monoma down before jumping away.
"She's now mocking me." He said.
"Hey look the idiot did something good." Bakugo said.
"All school," huh...? That's right, I didn't really think about it that much, but we'll fighting against other schools to pass." Sero said.
Izuku nodded. "In our case, we have to accelerating the process of getting them..."
"In addition, there are very few first years in the country that trying to get their provisional licenses. "That's right, so class B, i'm Ryuuichi and i'm also Kamen Rider Swarm, the most awesome one outside of Shinji!" He smiles.
"Oh yeah, we still have three." Monoma said.
"Numbers doesn't mean anything, with my own gear I can go higher, plus... If we fought you would lose like it was nothing." Ryuuichi pointed it out and Monoma felt destroyed by his comment.
"Well he's not wrong, your quirk is useless against the quirkless." Kendo said.
"Traitor." Monoma said.
Later at night
Many of the girls are together in a room that are Yoshiko, Mina, Momo, Tsu, Ochako, Jirou and Jill.
"Say girls, is there anyone you like?" Mina said.
"Yeah, I like Shi kun!" Yoshiko raises her hand.
The girls that like Shinji glared at her. She's too foward with her answer.
"Well that's nice Yoshiko." Ochako chuckles nervously.
"What about you Jill?" Mina asked.
"Well I shouldn't be talking since I only got here." She said.
"Come on there must be someone!" Mina said.
"Well moving on, i've been meaning to ask how your training is going Jill?" Momo asked.
"Well Sir Nighteye has been a good teacher to me, he was able to help me control it better." Jill said.
"Is that why you use a eyepatch?" Mina asked.
"Well it is two visions of present and future." Tsu said.
Jirou looks outside and saw Shinji practicing swinging a sword and she smiles at him.
"Hey what's with that look?" Mina asked.
"Nothing!" She said.
Next day
The class arrived at the National Dagoba Arena by bus with many looking nervous, Shinji saw many students coming.
He looks around. "This will be a intense one, but we gotta be ready."
"Yes, this a important part of your step to becoming a pro. You got the training you needed to be ready. Remember what I taught you." Aizawa said.
"Right." Shinji nodded.
"Oh that's right. Shinji asked mr Aizawa to teach him." Momo said.
"Well his skills would be better for him." Jirou said.
"Let's call out the usual! Ready, set- Plus..." Kirishima said.
"Ultra!" They heard a different voice.
They looked and saw a student from another school called Inasa Yoarashi.
"You shouldn't barge into other peoples huddles Inasa." A student said.
"Oh no! I am... very... extremely... sorry!" He bows so hard he slams his head to the ground.
"No problem!" Yoshiko does the same.
"That idiot!" Shinji said.
"Wait isn't that uniform from..." Ryuuichi points at it.
"The elite school that rivals U.A... Shiketsu High School." Shinji finished.
"I wanted to say it just once! Plus Ultra! I love U.A. High School! I am extremely honored to be able to compete with U.A. students! I'm looking forward to it!" Inasa said
He then looks at Shinji. "I remember you from the festival! You made a amazing speech and your a future Quirkless hero! I hope we can have a good match in the future!"
"Maybe." Shinji said.
"Yoarashi Inasa." Aizawa said.
"You know him teacher?" Jill asked.
"He's... Strong." He said.
They got surprised at those words.
"Last year, the same year as you guys, Yoarashi got the top scores admitted through recommendation, but for some reason, he turn down his acceptance." Aizawa said.
They got stunned and Shinji looks at Shoto. If he's similar to Shoto then he might be stronger.
"All right then, everyone from U.A, please excuse me!" Inasa said.
"Okay!" Yoshiko said.
He left and Shinji looks around for anyone that could be strong as him. Just the fact he managed to get the top scores means something.
"Eraser!" Aizawa got shocked. "Eraser is that you?" He slowly looks back.
They saw Ms Joke going towards him. "I've seen you on tv and at the sports festival, but it's been a while since I've seen you in person!"
Aizawa got shocked seeing her.
"Wasn't she at the festival?" Shinji said.
"That's right it's Ms. Joke!" Izuku said.
"Let's get married!" Ms Joke points at her and Aizawa.
"No." He said.
Mina got excited seeing that.
Joke laughs. "No? That's a good one."
"Your hard to talk as usual Joke." Aizawa said.
"Ms. Joke! Her Quirk's Outburst! She forces those near her to laugh, dulling their thinking and movements! Her fights against villains are full with craziness!" Izuku said.
"If you marry me, we can make a happy family with never-ending laugther!" Joke said.
"A family like that can't be happy." Aizawa said making her laugh again.
"You two seem close." Jill said.
"Our agencies used to be close to each other! In our cycle of helping and being helped, our mutual love of each other bloomed." Joke said.
"No it didn't." Aizawa stopped her.
"Oh, I love your quick retorts! It make you worth teasing, Eraser!" Joke said.
"Anyway if you here." Aizawa said.
"That's right, come out everyone!" Joke said.
Kensubutsu Academy students came since they're the school she's teaching in.
A guy called Yo came up to them. "Wow, it's amazing meeting you all, even the famous quirkless student."
"Yeah, well he's not the only one as UA now has four more of them." Ryuuichi points at himself.
"Amazing! I'm jealous that UA has you guys since you are all so fast." Yo said.
"Hey change into your costumes and go to the orientation." Aizawa said.
"Right." They said.
Shinji goes to change into one of his rider forms since something big will happen.
Later
Everyone was at the orientation halls as Shinji was now Kabuto in rider form along with Swarm.
"Wow theres a ton of guys here." Swarm said.
"It's to be expected." Kabuto said.
Then a guy called Yokumiru Mera came. "Um... Well, let's do that provisional license thing... I'm Mera from Heroes Public Safety Commision. The kind of sleep I like is non-REM sleep... Nice to meet you. I've been so busy that I haven't gotten much sleep... We too short-staffed... I'm so sleepy! With that conviction, I will give you the orientation."
"Is he like Aizawa?" Swarm said.
"About the content of the provisional license thing... Frankly, all 1,543 examinees here will have to win through a free-for-all exercise!" Mera said.
"Serously?!" Swarm said.
"I see, this is a all out war against all the schools." Kabuto said.
"Our society is currently said to be saturated with heroes, and ever since Stain was arrested, many have shown doubts about the current state of heroes." Mera said.
"Well, as a private cictizen, no matter what the motivation, to tell someone to risk their lives for others without seek any reward is... It's the ruthless story for these modern times... But anyway, whether its for compensation or for loyalty and courage... the result of many heroes working hard together to help people and defeat villains is that right now, the time from when an incident begins to when it is resolved is so short that it'd make you sick. You all are about receive your provisional licenses and finally throw yourselves into those rapids. Those who doesn't keep that up with speed have to tough it. Accordingly, what you'll be tested on is speed! The first hundred to fill the requirements will pass."
They got shocked to hear that.
"Theres a total of 1,543 students, didn't they say only half will pass." Momo said.
"That's not even half." Kabuto said.
"Well a lot has happened in the world, so heres the requirements." He holds up a target and a ball.
"The examinee will put three of these target on his or her body. They can go anywhere as long as it's an exposed area. You can't put them on the soles of your feet or in your armpits. You will also have six of these balls. The targets are made to only if they're hit by these balls, and if all three of your targets light up, then you're out. Those who have their third target will be count as defeat. So you can pass this round by defeating two people. That's it for the rules."
"So basically hit the targets with the balls." Swarm said.
Kabuto then thinks about what might happen, the fesitval was a way for the others to see what they can do. But they will make a mistake thinking they're still the same.
"Okay then... After we open, we'll pass out the targets and balls, and then we'll start one minute after we've gotten to everyone." Mera said.
"Open?" Izuku said.
The walls opened revealing a stadium around them.
"I believe that you have the terrain that you like and dislike. Use your Quirks well and do your best." Mera said.
It started and Kabuto saw Bakugo go away. "That damn idiot! Everyone if we seperate have someone be there for you. We can't let them get the better of us!"
"Right!" They said.
Joke and Aizawa was at the seats and she looks at him. "So why aren't you worried?"
"Because i'm not." He said surprising her. "The one that has the most potential among them... Is the one that doesn't have a quirk."
She got stunned hearing that.
Yo came down with his classmates. "Okay! One of them can't be fast if he doesn't use his belt and the other guy's quirk hurts him-" He got cut off when Kabuto appears in front of him shocking him and his classmates.
"But... How?" He said.
"I got a few upgrades." Kabuto said as he slams the ball against the guy's target.
He then takes out his cloth and grabs two of Yo's classmates slamming them against each other letting the others score on them.
"Did you..." Joke was surprised.
"Yes, I trained Shinji myself, that boy has a bright future, he could be the one to rival our best students." Aizawa said.
Kabuto stands in front of his class as they went foward together.
Note: The test is starting and Kabuto showed off the fruits of his training from Aizawa and Mogul as the upgrades he got made him have a similar speed to clock up without using the belt, now to answer a review. "Guest-Z-01 Well he met Mogul already but for others i'll have to see."
