Kai is lying on his side next to Lucy, who is on her stomach, in his bed. He lightly draws circles on her back with his fingertips and watches her sleep. Fuck, does he love this woman. His Tesoro. It took almost losing her to realize it didn't matter where she was from and what she really was. He pushes her tussled hair out of the way so he can kiss her shoulder.

"Isn't it how it always goes? Almost losing someone to realize how much you care about them. How much you can't live without them."

They watch on in silence as Lucy is carried in, unconscious, and placed gently on the couch. The men turn away as Chisaki tends to her. The women gasp at her wounds. It's quiet in the guild, as Ms. Yamamoto does her examination. They're relieved that no everlasting trauma has come to her. She has always been able to bounce back from what life throws at her, but had that man, or any of them for that matter… even the toughest women of Fairy Tail wouldn't be able to cope with something like that.

Wendy smiles as she watches herself heal Lucy. She looks so much different. The copy is from a few years ago and she's no longer that little kid yearning to grow up and grow a chest like most other women. Now she's a woman who has a big chest and the back aches that come with it.

"Well, there's no way he survived that fire so don't worry about him watching you." Ms. Yamamoto states.

"But wasn't Remnaut your only way of getting home?" Kurono mentions.

"Yeah, but if what Remnaut was saying is true, then they'll know and search even harder. There could also be someone here that…"

"She won't know we still are because for them it's likely Remnaut died in that fire," Levy states from the table where she's feeding Metalia with Gajeel next to her feeding Gale.

"Damn straight we're going to search even harder," Laxus affirms while rocking little Rita in his arms. Yes, Laxus is rocking his daughter, sue him. He wants to be everything Ivan wasn't.

"It really shouldn't be this hard though," Erza comments as she too is feeding her daughter Irene.

"Do any of you remember going against anyone by Remnaut? This person has something against us and once we figure that out, we might get somewhere." Mira asks the remainder of Team Natsu in the guild.

"No, Erza and the rest of us have thought through who we fought, but haven't come up with anything," Wendy says.

"If there's anyone who would remember, it would be Lucy and…" Erza trails off.

"But the name didn't trigger anything for her."

"That is true."

Master Makarov interrupts them, "An S-class request came in, but the requesters are from a different country and asked for assistance from us."

"Why not ask someone from that country?"

"Because they want Fairy Tail mages. It could take months, possibly even a year because of travel time alone. Trains don't go through that area, so it'll be by horse and buggy."

Erza offers to go, with Wendy, Carla, and Gray. Juvia will be going along with them.

Many of the guild members talk at once, so it's hard to keep track of who says what.

"I just remembered something. Wakabayashi had plans to find All For One because he could help take care of his problem. Do you think he already went to the person?"

"Is it possible there's other yakuza out there that are as bad as the Steel Wolf clan?"

"Highly possible. Remember that meeting back in, I believe it was August? Aside from Wakabayashi, the rest are all for moving off the dark path and being more honorable. There could be a few that aren't aligned with the Shie Hassaikai and it's also highly possible they could go to this All For One person."

"Do you think others know about that doctor he was thinking about that can rearrange the molecular structure of a quirk and give it to somebody? Cobra, you said Wakabayashi planned on going to All For One to do so right?"

"Yeah… One thing I neglected to mention was that they had been collecting DNA samples of the 8 bullets and Kurono."

"How? Why them and no other quirks?"

"You've seen how bloody those fights get so it's not difficult getting some samples that way. It's easy to walk by someone and pluck a hair out or dig into a garbage can for a cup someone drank from. And why not other quirks? It's because they've seen those quirks in action and have been studying them closely. There's something else."

"What is it?"

"I didn't want to alarm anyone but there is another yakuza out for the Shie Hassaikai. They worked with the Steel Wolf clan. Considering Lucy was drugged, she wasn't able to catch it while attempting to listen to their souls."

"What did you hear?"

"I heard in Remnaut's soul that the boss of this one planned on double-crossing the Steel Wolf clan, by offering more to get their hands on the quirks of those in the Shie Hassaikai. There's no need to now though seeing as how Dabi killed all of them."

"Do you think they have something bigger planned?"

"Do you think he told All For One about Lucy?"

"Yeah, that's why Remnaut hasn't interfered, he's found that it keeps getting more interesting. As far as All For One being told about Bright Eyes? That I don't know."

"This keeps getting scarier."

"I'm getting a feeling that even though things are good for Lucy, Remnaut isn't going to do anything to interfere because trouble is brewing and All For One is behind it."

"You think so Gajeel?"

"I'm not a hundred percent certain; Just something about it has me on edge. It's just a gut feeling. You know we haven't heard hide nor tail from Ivan. I wonder what the snake is up to."

"Probably biding his time. It wouldn't be the first time he hid in the shadows for a long time waiting for the right time to strike."

As always, the men leave when Chisaki and Lucy shower.

"I wonder if they'd still be doing this if they knew Remnaut was alive."

"Would you if you were being watched?"

There's a mix between yes, hell no, and stuttering messes.

Instead of calling them back in, they absorb themselves in the conversation the two lovers have. Lisanna is shocked to hear that Lucy would like to see Natsu settle down with her. She becomes a blushing mess that the conversation is on her and Bickslow. She's also a little upset. She had a feeling Bickslow and Cana hooked up here and there, but she never had it confirmed. However, she can't hold it against them considering what she and Natsu had done.

All of the women laugh with Lucy when Chisaki brings up Natsu and Cana becoming a couple. However, Lucy has a good point.

"It's cute he still calls her his treasure. I was worried about where their relationship would go."

"Yeah, seems like they're in a really good place."

"Cana is going to have a field day with this."

The Next Day

"Alright guys, fill us in when we get back!"

"Bye Erza, Wendy, Carla, Gray, and Juvia!"

"Have a safe journey!"

"Remember to keep an ear and eye out for Brandish and A guy!"

"We will," Erza replies giving Jellal and their daughter Irene one last kiss before leaving. It hurts to not be able to spend Christmas with her family, especially since this is Irene's first, but Jellal assures her that it's okay and reminds her of her duty being a Fairy Tail mage. He understands and tells her that in case she's not able to call on Christmas Eve or Christmas, he'll record everything for her.

A woman who he has not seen in years enters the room accompanied by a little girl. Although he was aware of his granddaughter's existence, he had never anticipated having the opportunity to meet her.

Kai and Lucy are in the kitchen rummaging for something to eat.

"What the fuck, his daughter just dropped off her daughter and took off?"

"That poor kid! How could her mother do that?"

They can't believe someone would do that to their child. They hear Cobra curse about the cunt telling her father that her daughter is a curse among other things with the little girl right there no less!

When the old man brings the little girl in for Lucy and Chisaki to meet, all the women go on about how cute she is. In the end, Lucy isn't the only one crying. Some of the men even have a few tears in their eyes.

All of them smile when Lucy changes into Aries's star dress to help Eri feel less self-conscious about her little horn.

As they watch they wonder if the old man is going to ask those two to be the little girl's caretakers. Their relationship is just now getting back to normal, and they may be thrust into parenthood. Lucy looks to be taken with the girl, but Chisaki has stated he's not ready to be a father. Only time can tell where that will go.

"He's not going to give up on her moving in, give the guy a break."

"Damn, that was quick. Figured it would take longer to convince her to move in."

"Well, it would be difficult for Lucy to help take of Eri living somewhere else."

"And Eri needs a positive, loving, and caring female role model and Lucy is perfect for that role."

Lucy is waking up in the morning after having just spent her first night at the compound. They finally got the last bit of her things the day before. She was meant to sleep in her room but she got woken up in the middle of the night from Kai tossing and turning as well as calling out for someone. She rushed to his room to calm him down and he asked if she could please stay with him. The look on his face told her that he needed her, emotionally. Whatever it was he had a nightmare about really shook him up.

There's really not much to say as Lucy talks to Chisaki about magic and how a few of her friends discovered they have it. When Eri comes running into the room they can't help but think that not only does he need to give the little girl a break, but he is also going to have difficulty sharing Lucy. The look on his face is priceless when Eri asks him to make breakfast. They think that he's used to little kids being scared of him when he is around them the rare times he is out in public. At least he is going to try to do the whole caretaker thing even if he is scared of her and her quirk.

Bickslow walks up to the bar where Lisanna is at taking care of dishes. "Hey Lisanna, The Thunder Legion is going on a job. Want to come with?"

"Sure! Mira, I'm going out on a job with the Thunder Legion."

"Okay! Make sure you keep in contact." Mira says as she hugs her sister. "And you take good care of her Bickslow."

"Of course, Mira!" Lisanna says as Bickslow says, "Aye Sir!"

The Thunder Legion plus Lisanna head out to get ready. Mira turns to who's left in the guild which consists of Laxus, Gajeel, Levy, Pantherlily, Elfman, Kinana, Cobra, Midnight, Jellal, Meredy and Bisca who occasionally sits down and watches with them.

"Should we continue?"

"Might as well."

When Lucy found out when Eri's birthday was, she very well couldn't throw a party. Jiji had told her when it was so, on Saturday, December 21 they celebrated Eri's sixth birthday. Pops asked Chisaki to contact Tooru and invite him and Yaeka so Eri could at least have someone her age there and maybe they could become good friends. And so Chisaki can talk to Tooru more about being a caretaker of a little girl. It was a good conversation until they got on the topic of The 8 Bullets. He got offended when Tooru referred to him as his henchmen things. "I'm bad at remembering names. Besides, have you taken a good look at them?" Other than that, it was a small little gathering with just a few of them so as not to overwhelm the poor girl.

Cobra snorts, "Henchmen things."

"Eri is such a strong little girl. It's been two weeks and she's doing so much better."

Master Makarov puts in, "You can still see the sadness in her eyes, but that's to be expected. With Lucy there she'll get better much quicker, I think. She has always had a way of knowing the right words to say and how to take care of someone to make them feel better."

"I wonder if we'll ever get to see what the 8 bullets look like."

"Who knows? It's possible. They can't possibly wear that twenty-four-seven."

The newest recruit, Soramitsu Tabe who completes the group The 8 Bullets, is at the front door before anyone else to let Lucy, Rappa, Tengai, and Hojo in who are hauling loads of food In. It doesn't surprise Lucy since his quirk is food. Many were surprised that she didn't find it odd that he was always hungry and thus obsessed with eating. She just laughed and said she wished they could meet her friend Natsu, he would give Tabe a run for his money.

"How did you get all of this KFC?" Tabe asks.

"I ordered it back in October." Lucy tells them as she unloads it all, setting it in the center of the table. "When I heard of the tradition, I made sure to make a reservation."

Kai who is in the process of helping set the table stops, "That was before…"

Lucy gives him a little nod, "Yeah…"

"I wonder if he could give Natsu a run for his money in a food-eating contest."

Their question if they'll be able to see the faces of the 8 bullets is answered when they take their masks off to eat, well the majority of them do. Tabe doesn't need to take his off.

It's a heartwarming scene watching the big group laughing and eating dinner together. From what they learned about yakuza, it's very unexpected, then again look at the former Seis. All they ever wanted was their freedom and to have a life like that. Since they've been given a second chance, they've been making sure not to waste it and live their life to the fullest. Some found it in Fairy Tail, others found it in a different guild.

This group of yakuza has always wanted a family, and they found it in each other. Like Fairy Tail, every member that joins, regardless of how long they have been a part of it, they are automatically family.

They chuckle at Lucy and Chisaki's embarrassment at being encouraged to kiss under the mistletoe. Someone comments that it has to be annoying to have to always pull that mask down just so they can kiss. A fellow guild member interjects that it's only when they're around others or in public. His mysophobia makes it difficult for him to go without that mask.

It's an even happier scene watching everyone open their Christmas parents.

"Oh my god, Eri is right, he looks like a bird!"

"We should call him Birdman now."

It's so romantic watching Lucy and Chisaki under the twinkling lights as he asks her officially to be his. For someone who has never dated before it seems to come naturally to him.

A week later after The Thunder Legion and Lisanna have completed the job.

Bickslow, on watch, is sitting against a log in front of the fire, knee up, arm resting on it staring into the flames waiting for Lisanna to sneak out of the tent. She had asked Bickslow to be the one to take watch so they could talk. He agreed and let her know that it never takes long for that woman to fall asleep and once she is, it's difficult to wake her up.

The sound of the zipper from the tent is heard as Lisanna opens it as quietly as she can. She tries to be just as quiet when she steps out and zips it back up. She silently pads over to where Bickslow is and sits next to him, her knees folded up against her chest. She rests her chin on top of her knees and stares into the fire. "I need to tell you something. I hope you don't get mad at me."

"Yeah?"

Lisanna fiddles with the hem of her shirt, "I slept with Natsu… more than once."

Bickslow takes his attention off of the fire and gives it to her, "I know."

Her head whips to the side and she looks at Bickslow, "What do you mean, you know? How?"

Bickslow shrugs, "Listen, it's not a big deal. I sort of expected it honestly."

Lisanna looks down into her lap. "I'm sorry."

Bickslow tilts her head up with his index finger under her chin, "There's nothing to be sorry about. Natsu isn't just some random dude you met on the streets." He tucks a strand of hair behind her ear. "It's no secret there's history between you two. Where do you two stand now?"

"We haven't talked about it yet, but it was awkward. Honestly, I don't even know why we kept… you know… I suppose I thought over time it wouldn't be so awkward. That didn't happen though."

"Have you two talked about it yet?"

Lisanna shakes her head no, "Not exactly. He told me he needed space and to talk to you before he left on his mission with Gildarts, Happy, and Cana. If I know Natsu as well as I think I do, that told me all I needed to know. You know he's not one to talk about feelings."

"Well, for me, could you get him to talk? It would make me feel better than relying on a silent conversation. I want to know for sure he doesn't have any feelings towards you before I take you on an official date. Which is something I should have done a long time ago." He stares back into the fire. "Instead of fucking around with Cana."

"I don't hold that against you. I mean, I can't be upset, after being intimate with Natsu."

"That's diff-"

"No, it's not. It's not different at all. I very well could have approached you and yet, I didn't. But I was thinking, after I talk to Natsu, how about we start fresh?"

"That's why I want to take you on a date. Start over instead of beating around the bush. But there is one thing I've wanted to do, and I'd like to not wait any longer." He takes off his helmet and sets it to the side.

"What's that?" She's surprised when Bickslow picks her up and places her in his lap so she's straddling him. She feels his hard length, "Oh my, you're already…"

Bickslow chuckles, "Yeah this," he grinds her against him, "is what you do to me."

Lisanna blushes, "Natsu was never hard right away- crap, I'm sorry I didn't mean to bring him up-"

Bickslow cuts her off by kissing her. "Don't worry about it, it's going to happen." He is surprised by Lisanna cupping his face and leaning slowly in to kiss him. This time it's taken deeper and before it can get too heated, he breaks it. "We better stop, or I'll end up fucking you up against that tree. I don't want to go too far, too fast with you, no matter how much I want you." Bickslow lifts her off her lap.

Lisanna stands and looks down at him, "You're right. Well, I better head off to bed. Good night Bickslow."

"Good night, Lisanna."

They eat ozoni, a hearty soup with mochi, and rice cakes. Soba is also served and sounds of slurping echo throughout the room causing Eri to giggle. A lot of them find it to be a delightful sound.

They have a long trek ahead of them if they're going to take part in the tradition Joya no Kane, the ringing of a temple bell 108 times to purify the soul, so they make sure to get their fill.

Before they leave, Eri gets a card with money. She got two actually, one from her grandfather and one from Lucy. She was told that it was a lesson in saving money. To make sure she saves it and doesn't spend it right away.

Fairy Tail find the New Year tradition very interesting and inspiring. It makes them want to do the same thing when they ring in the new year in a week. Maybe not the ringing of a large temple bell. Sure, Gajeel could make one and Laki could construct the log to ring it with, but the Dragon slayers wouldn't appreciate it much. They too want to take the time to reflect on the past year and cleanse their minds. They also plan to surprise Asuka with cards containing money.

At the moment though, those who are still in Magnolia are all gathered at the guild for Christmas Eve. Master Makarov, Laxus, Mira, Freed, Elfman, Evergreen, Jellal, Gajeel, Levy, Cobra, Kinana, Lisanna, Bickslow and many more.

Asuka is helping Levy, Bisca and Evergreen with the children. Levy's and Gajeel's twins Gale and Metalia who are three, Jellal and Erza's daughter Irene who is one and Rita, who is Mira, Laxus, and Freed's daughter who is also one.

It's a great and wild time, though it's not as wild as it would have been if all the guild members were there. They still enjoy themselves and have a wonderful time. The other members would be upset if they didn't.

Present Time

"So that's it."

"There really is no telling when Erza and the others will be back?"

Master Makarov shakes his head, "No there isn't and let's hope they find an answer while they're out there."

"It sucks that no matter what we'll always be a couple of months behind Lucy. Here it is, almost February and this disc goes until March. Which means as we're standing here talking, she's in April?"

"Maybe? I don't know. It's confusing."

"At least the time difference isn't as bad as the one between Earthland and the celestial spirit world."

"You missed a couple of good parties Cana."

Cana waves it off, "It's all right."

Natsu chimes in, "Yeah, we had our own fun."

Gildarts, Cana, Natsu, and Happy really didn't do anything so Gildarts is curious as to what fun he is referring to. They were still traveling during that time. He mentally shrugs. Natsu always has fun with his friends regardless of what they're doing.

Lisanna decides that it's now or never to talk with Natsu. She goes up to him at the table he's at. "Hey, Natsu? Can we talk?"

Natsu has a good idea of what it's about and despite him trying to silently communicate with her, he knows they need to talk even though it makes him slightly uncomfortable. They walk outside at the back of the guild and it's silent until Lisanna breaks it.

"I don't love you. Well, I mean I do, but not in a romantic way. A friendly way. What we did felt…"

"Wrong," Natsu fills in.

Lisanna nervously chuckles, "And awkward."

"Yeah…" Like it is at this very moment. To break it, Natsu asks, "So did you talk with Bickslow?"

"Yeah, that's why I'm having this conversation with you. He doesn't want to date me unless he knows for sure that you have no feelings for me."

"Tell him not to worry, I don't. Getting out for a few months and doing that mission helped clear a lot of things up for me."

"That's good."

"Mmhmm. So, is that all?"

"Yeah, that's it."

They both walk back into the guild hall. Bickslow and Cana are at the bar laughing and Lisanna's steps falter. Natsu notices and places his hand on her back and nudges her forward, "Don't worry. There won't be anything going on between them anymore."

Lisanna trusting Natsu smiles at him and walks up to Bickslow hugging him from behind.

"Hey." Bickslow greets Lisanna and pulls her out from behind him and next to him so he can wrap an arm around her. He then glances at Natsu who gives him a thumbs up and walks away.

"You better treat her good Bickslow. I'm happy for you Lisanna." Cana says with a smile.

"Thanks Cana." Lisanna watches Cana walk over to Natsu and chat before walking out of the guild together. There's no way they like each other now is there? Lisanna is surprised that she feels no jealousy. She smiles at Bickslow when he places a kiss on top of her head.

"You guys change partners more than square dancers," Makarov says as Laxus wheels him past the new couple.

Laxus's laugh, along with Gajeel's and Wendy's, is heard across the guild.

Natsu hears it and chuckles a little.

"What's so funny?"

"Just Gramps being Gramps. It's nice seeing Lucy happy." Natsu states as he walks Cana home.

"It is. How are you holding up? And don't lie, since the beginning you've been sort of back and forth on your feelings for Lucy."

"I…" Natsu exhales, "She wasn't wrong, I show my love through actions, not words. For her, well you know what I've done for her… Yes, I loved her. A part of me always will. And despite what she told Chisaki, I know she loved me too. At one point anyway. Am I upset that love faded? No. It's the same for me. I can understand why she would think if there was anyone I would be with if not her, then it would be Lisanna. We sort of tried that, but yeah… you know how well that worked out. Anyway, I want to do as she hopes I will do; Don't wait for her and move on."

"Damn Natsu." Cana is taken aback by that little speech.

Natsu shrugs, "I know we'll see each other again. I'm hoping that when we do, it'll be a way to travel to and from both worlds whenever we want so we could still visit."

"That would be nice."

"I feel bad for Bickslow. Once Gildarts finds him, he's dead."

"And when my dad finds out about us, he'll kill you."

Natsu smiles at her, "I'm not scared of him. I'm always up for a fight. Well, here we are. You have a good night, Cana."

"Do you want to come in?"

"Do you want me to?"

"I wouldn't have asked if I didn't." She grabs him by the scarf and drags him into her home.

Ivan is pacing in his home that's hidden up in the mountains. Remnaut told him that he was sending Lucy to another world to hurt Fairy Tail. And it did for a while. But they've gotten over it and have been carrying on like normal while also searching for a way to find her. Remnaut never said anything about stalking her, recording her life, and taunting Fairy Tail with videos of where she's at and what's going on with her. Why would he want to give them clues? Does he not know how relentless Fairy Tail is? Does he not know Fairy Tail will never give up no matter how long it takes? What game is that man playing?

Yes, Ivan wanted this to happen because he's an asshole, he wanted to see them hurt, but they're not in much of a panic like he wanted them to be. They would be had Remnaut not sent Fairy Tail videos, showing them how she's doing. He needs to figure out a way to hit them where it hurts again, but how?

Remnaut better not come back to Earthland because if he does and Ivan sees him, he's going to kill him. Not only so no one has a way to get to where Lucy's at but so Fairy Tail can't see her anymore.

And there's the second part to this round of Back At Fairy Tail. The whole love square thing is over with. There's not much more to do with that other than Natsu and Cana sneaking around behind Gildarts back.

To be completely honest, I never put much thought into Remnaut and Ivan, so I've been winging it as I go. But I think I have it figured out. I hope I do anyway haha. Only time will tell.

I don't think there's much else I wanted to cover other than to apologize if this seemed rushed. Did it feel rushed? I kind of feel like it is. I'll do my best to not rush the next three. I tell ya, it's been difficult working within the timeline of when Deku first meets All Might to ten months later when he takes the U.A. exams. There isn't any canon to work with other than Deku and his training.
