Brenna couldn't wait for the following weekend, even though she saw Oliver Wood wherever she went since they were both in Gryffindor, she was still nervous about being alone with him. When word got out to the Quidditch team that their weekend practice was going to be cut short, the Weasley's were all too ecstatic to praise Brenna and thank her publicly for giving them the "weekend off". This not only made Brenna blush like a rose but her roommates also figured out about the sudden date and were just as overjoyed about this new pairing. She tried to play it cool but with a whole swarm of people kept telling her "job well done", it was kind of hard to focus on schoolwork. It was even worse considering that this was her first date that was coming up.

"Oi, Brenna!" someone yelled to her.

She turned and recognized the Weasley twins, "Lover boy is in the showers! He'll be out very shortly!"

"Don't mind them" Brenna turned and noticed another Weasley, Percy on the other side of her, "They feed off of embarrassment, it's hard to believe that we're actually related"

"So you know what to do then?" Brenna nodded off to the pair, "When are they like this?"

Percy hesitated, "No… it seems like they will do anything to annoy you and won't stop unless you threaten to write to our mother. She's the only one who can get a lid on those two"

"Too late" Brenna giggled, "Now the whole school thinks that Oliver and I are dating"

"Yeah…" Percy glanced around, "Between you and me, he's really looking forward to this. I'm one of his roommates and for once he's not talking about Quidditch strategies as much anymore. There he is! Good luck"

Brenna gawked at Percy as she wanted to tell him that it was even worse that Percy told her that but he quickly ran away. She groaned as she felt butterflies in her stomach and her heart was already sailing up to Aphrodite's temple by now. Oliver was walking up to her in nothing special really, just a turtleneck and dark jeans. His hair was slightly wet and his cheeks were just as flushed as hers right about now.

"Morning!" Oliver said cheerfully.

"Good morning" Brenna replied, "How was practice?"

Oliver raised his eyebrows and sighed, "Would've gotten more done if the Weasley's weren't singing every love song they knew. Angelina's broom almost got nicked by a bludger"

Brenna made a painful expression, "Well, hopefully something else pops up and requires their attention… shall we go?"

Oliver waved his hand off to the side as Brenna followed in the direction to where most teens were wandering off to. Getting her already rubbery legs to start working made the nerves calm down only a little bit. She suddenly wished she had a book or something in her hands that would cause her to hug something tightly, Brenna suddenly had no idea where to put her hands or even how she holds herself while walking.

"Are you planning on going back to Greece for Christmas?" Oliver asked.

Brenna nodded, "Father couldn't bear to leave Athens just yet, I think he's finally planning on growing roots to a place"

"That's nice" Oliver complimented, "I've never been to Greece before, my parents want to travel this summer and want an answer by this break in order to plan"

"Well, there is much to do in that country" Brenna said, "The modernized buildings and ruins around every corner. The Magical Community there really keeps up to date in preserving the architect. The Wizarding World in Greece is wonderful to see… there are some who claim to be a direct descendent to Zeus, unfortunately"

Oliver chuckled, "And you don't believe them?"

"Definitely not," Brenna laughed.

Only because she knew the truth behind those drunken stories. Her grandfather hated that there were magical beings among humans. He liked humans because even though they looked the most like the Gods, they had no power and needed the Gods for their praise and worship. Witches and Wizards, on the other hand, don't believe in faith and religion because they could make anything happen that humans claimed were miracles. This angered Zeus and would've desttroyed the Wizards long ago, if it wasn't for a handful of Gods that objected, including her mother.

"Well, you never know where our magic comes from but I wouldn't be surprised if it was from them" Oliver answered, "If they even exist"

Brenna gave a dry chuckle as she hoped her mother wasn't listening in, "So! What do we have planned today?"

"Oh! I was thinking that we could go to the Three Broomsticks for some lunch, walk around to see what interests you and probably go to the sweet shop before leaving, how does that sound?"

Brenna raised her eyebrow, "No mention of brooms or quidditch?"

Oliver blushed, "I am trying to cut back on my obsession with the sport"

"Well, if we do see a shop like that, I wouldn't mind going in" Brenna told him.

Oliver seemed happy to hear this as Brenna smiled and looped her arm around his arm. For someone who looked skinny and lean, she was surprised to feel muscles under his sleeve. She didn't know why she did it but she kept herself in place as she didn't want to suddenly change her mind. Brenna looked up and gasped when she saw the entrance to Hogsmeade.

She didn't know if it was because of the smell of crisp cookies in the air with orange and dark chocolate but Hogsmeade reminded her of a Christmas Market if a Christmas Market was a town that is. She recognized a few students as they passed by with goodies and treats, not really taking in the magic of this little town. Brenna turned to Oliver who smiled down to her taking in the town all at once.

"That was my first reaction as well" Oliver said, "I'm really glad that you decided to come during this time of year, winter hits differently when it comes to this place"

"I can see why" Brenna smiled as she looked up to the falling snow, "It almost looks like a Hallmark movie"

Oliver blinked, "A what?"

Brenna shook her head, "Nevermind, just that this place feels… magical with a sense of being home"

"I'm sure they enchanted it that way" Oliver whispered to her, "Percy believes that the entrance is enchanted so the homesick students don't feel so lonely"

"Well, I am glad that I came with you for the first time here" Brenna turned to him, "Shall we eat first?"

"Yes! I'm starving" Oliver confessed.

Brenna giggled as he continued to guide her down the busy street as something in the corner of her eye was waving frantically. She turned and noticed Aria was there off to the side as she beamed and raised her thumbs up, Brenna gave a shush look before turning back to what he was saying.

"They honestly have everything that you could wish for" Oliver was explaining, "But the best and what I am honestly craving the most is the butterbeer"

"A cup of warm butterbeer sounds amazing right about now" Brenna agreed.

Oliver Wood smiled down to Brenna Jammal before he decided to wrap his arm around her waist and led her to the Inn.
