25. To Thaw A Frozen Heart Part I

WE'RE BACK FOLKS! 🎉🎉🎉

And let me just say I wish I had played Dynasty Warriors Origins before writing this story. Because HOLY CRAP THIS GAME IS AWESOME! 😃

Do yourselves a favor and try it out. The remake of the classic open field combat game series is amazing. And even though I'm new to this series and have never played any of the previous games, except for the demos on PS2 and the Legend Of Zelda spin-off games called Hyrule Warriors. This game Dynasty Warriors Origins stands on its own two feet as what I personally call a must have. 🙏

The one downside is that they give us a silent main character and even though we can only customize his name at the beginning and change his outfit and weapons. That's it. You don't get to change his physical appearance like in most games with silent characters. But aside from that. This game has a lot of energy and fluidity to every battle that takes place.

Anyway. Sorry for the delay. I had this itch to continue the story beyond the next chapter because I CAN'T STAND CLIFFHANGERS! 😤

Especially since I was anxious to tell the ending of this Frozen visit. So I wasn't sure if I wanted to make it one big chapter or go for the unfortunate necessity that is a cliffhanger.

"HEY! Cliffhangers are what made Avengers Infinity War a classic!" Maverick protested in defense of cliffhangers. 😠

Fine! 😖

So I decided to just split this chapter in half and post both halves on the same day. Maverick do you concur with splitting something in half and having both at the same time.

"Sure." Maverick shrugged as he took both halves of his Subway sandwich and walked out. ️

Also there will be Deadpool references and a Free Guy reference. So keep your eyes open.

Anyhow. This is a long one. So let's get to it. But first let's answer some comments.

To Thaw a Frozen Heart Part I

Down in the dungeon of Arendelle Castle...

Arendelle was getting colder by the hour. At this rate, it would feel like the land and Mother Nature had canceled summer and skipped over Autumn. Thankfully Orion provided shelter at the castle, with roaring fire and a top of the line furnace, thanks to his technology and his powers.

But ever since the Marauders invaded Arendelle Castle. Elsa has been missing and Rapunzel's group along with Anna went out to go find her. Maverick, Verum Rex and Shift remained behind to interrogate some of the Marauder Troops that they captured. But not Blockbuster. He still remains frozen in a block of ice and Maverick has no other way to contain him for now.

So it all boils down to one last troop to interrogate since the others didn't know anything.

Maverick was in the interrogation cell. Along with Verum Rex and Shift. Lance and Hans along with a few of the castle guards were watching from the side. As the last Marauder Troop was sitting in a chair. In front of the table. Just like your typical interrogation scene.

Maverick leaned forward over the table, glaring at the Merauder Troop.

"We're done playing games. Your co-workers wouldn't talk. And now it's your turn." Maverick said seriously in a low tone as he held up a knife threateningly. "And this is the last time, I'll ask."

The troop just simply glared back under his mask.

"This is it." Lance squealed in excitement to see something violent happen.

And then. Maverick slowly held up a box of donuts.

"Which one, do you want, with your coffee?" Maverick emphasized with an irritated voice.

"I only drink decaf, asshole. And those, are display donuts." The troop sneered.

"Ugh! Same as the others." Lance groaned in disappointment as he pouted.

"Remind me again how this works?" Han inquired as he was weirded out by all of this.

Maverick threw his hands up and backed up. "I don't get you! I used all three. Good cop. Bad cop. And cop that gives you high saturated fat! And it didn't-" Maverick argued before he sniffed one of the donuts. "Damn you're right these are displays. I can smell the red dye number plastic."

"Sweetie? How about let me take over the interrogations?" Shift as she stepped in smugly, holding up a vial of some liquid. "After all, thanks to Zurg, I have just the thing to get these bastards to talk."

"Wait...Is that what you used on the other Expendables we questioned?" Maverick asked with wide eyes.

"Of course. Why do you think they all told the truth eventually?" Shift said back confidently.

Granted those previously interrogated troops all told the truth. They just didn't know anything. Maybe this one will be different.

On that note. Shift took a syringe and injected the truth serum into the Marauder Troop who winced from the needle in his neck. Then Verum Rex walked over.

"What does Sinister want with Elsa?" Verum Rex asked.

"He wants...a sample." The Marauder Troop struggled as he finally gave his answer.

A sample? As in a DNA sample. Verum Rex and Maverick looked at each other before Verum Rex pulled the mask and the troop had the same pale eye face and piercing red eyes as Mr Sinister. Which confirmed what Maverick concluded.

All of these troops are clones. Which means Mr Sinister is on another cloning role.

Meanwhile in the forest of Arendelle...

Rapunzel. Eugene and Anna spit up in the forest to see if they can find Elsa. With Eugene and Rapunzel riding Max still. Anna was on Fidella. As she called out to her sister as she rode the horse in a steady pace. Tracking through the thick blanket of snow.

"Elsa! Elsa! Elsa, It's me, Anna. Your sister who didn't mean to make you freeze the summer. I'm sorry. It's...it's all my f-f-fault." Anna called out while shivering from the cold a bit. Then she chuckled a bit nervously to herself. "Of course, none of it would have happened if she'd just told me her secret. She's a stinker."

Fidella shrugged and huffed as if she was saying 'I hear that, Sister'.

Suddenly when a tree branch snapped up and caused a pile of snow to fly up. Anna was startled and so was Fidella. But Fidella didn't rear back like most horses would. She kept Anna on her back.

*Plop!*

Then the pile of snow dropped on Anna And the horse. Making her groan underneath. "Ugh..."

Just then Rapunzel and Eugene rode back over and Rapunzel looked concerned as she got off to go help her cousin and Fidella out of the large pile of snow.

"Hold on." Rapunzel said before she began digging her cousin out of the snow. "Are you alright?"

"Oh yeah sure. Just...snow. It had to be snow." Anna exhaled as she pulled her legs out. "She couldn't have had tropical magic that covered the fjords in white sand and warm fire..."

"No offense, Ginger. But that would've been much worse. Last time me and Lance were in the Sahara, we're both seeing double and our great grandmothers at a lemonade stand." Eugene stated humorously on how extremely hot weathers would be much worse. As he helped get Anna and Fidella out of the snow.

"You know. Maybe this wouldn't be as bad for you if you thought to change into winter clothes before heading out with us to find Elsa." Rapunzel pointed out.

"Well it was summer this morning." Anna scoffed as she stood up and took a short breath before walking ahead. "I'm good. The sooner we find Elsa. The sooner we'll get back for- Woooah!"

Anna slipped down a snow slope and lost her cloak as she fell on her butt into a small cold lake. With the cold ice water just halfway up her waist.

*Splashed!*

Everyone winced. Even the horses. But Rapunzel slides down with ease to go help her.

"Oh boy. That sucks." Rapunzel winced as she helped Anna stand up. "Yeah, we better find you some warm clothes before you start getting frostbite."

"T-t-tthis i-i-i-isnt f-f-frost bitten yet?" Anna shivered with a small chatter of her teeth and she walked forward repeating "Cold, cold, cold, cold, cold, cold, cold, cold."

"Hey ladies! There's a shop up ahead!" Eugene called out.

"Good eye, Eugene!" Rapunzel called back as she and Anna went up to it. "Let's check to see if they have any warm clothes for you, Anna. Sound good!"

"Yes please!" Anna pleaded with a shudder as she waddled. "Oh God this is so cold."

The skirt part of her dress was frozen solid. As she was given help to go up the steps of the shop.

And Eugene knocked some snow out the way. "Wondering Oaken's Trading Post." Rapunzel read.

Then some more snow fell off the other sign. "Oooh! And Sauna!" Anna beamed lightly.

Inside the trading post...

The inside of the shop was a modest place to look for knick knacks. Food items and clothing. It was a small place but it was warm for the most part. Most of the food items were, produce items, minor can goods and salted snacks for the road. There was even a small toy area for dolls and wooden toys. Even some Verum Rex and Maverick plush dolls which Rapunzel smiled at.

"Hoo-hoo!" Rapunzel, Eugene, and Anna turned to see a man with a mustache and wearing a sweater with suspenders, sitting behind a counter, this being Oaken. "Big summer blowout. Half off swimming suits, clogs, and a sun balm of my own invention, yah?"

Oaken seemed like a decent guy despite not losing his formal smile. And a Scandinavian accent.

"Oh, great." Anna said with a nervous smile. "For now, um, how about boots... Winter boots, and dresses?"

"That would be our Winter Department." Oaken said, gesturing to the side of the store, which only had one pair of winter clothing, one pair of boots, a pickaxe, some rope, and snowshoes.

"That's the winter department?" Rapunzel asked in mild surprise.

"Seems a bit spartan if you ask me." Eugene said.

"We were not expecting any need to stock up on winter supplies. Summer just started, yah?" Oaken said with his hands together and a smile still on his face.

"Well, not much, but it'll do." Anna said as she waddled over and grabbed the clothes and boots. "Oh by the way, I was just wondering, has another young woman, The... Queen, perhaps, I don't know, passed through here?"

"Only one crazy enough to be out in this storm is you and your two friends, dear." Oaken said casually to Anna in response.

Just then a large man walked in. Covered in a pile of snow. It started some of them as he was covered in a black winter attire with a cap and scarf over his face like a mask.

"You three ane this follow. Hoo-hoo! Big summer blowout!" Oaken greeted.

"He's not with us. That's why we're alive." Eugene whispered with a nervous look.

Then Kristoff slowly walked up to the counter and looked directly at Anna and Rapunzel. Mostly Anna who was blocking the carrots by mistake as she hummed to herself trying to stand straight against the counter. Hoping to not get invaded or something.

"Something... you need, Sir?" Rapunzel nervously asked.

"Carrots." Kristoff muttered through his scarf.

"Huh?" Anna looked confused.

Kristoff leaned closer to her.

"Behind you." Kristoff said, making Anna look behind her to see the carrots on the shelf.

"Oh, right. Excuse me." Anna said with a sheepish smile as she stepped out of his way. Even Rapunzel stepped aside.

Kristoff picked up the carrots from the shelf and tossed them on the counter.

"Woh, a real howler in July, yes?" Oaken said as Kristoff walked over and picked up the rope and axe from the sparse winter department.

"Ain't that the understatement of the year." Eugene muttered to Rapunzel.

"Where ever could it be coming from?" Oaken asked.

"The North Mountain." Kristoff said as he walked back to the counter.

"North Mountain." Anna muttered quietly to Rapunzel. "Are you thinking what I'm thinking?"

"Elsa's probably there." Rapunzel muttered back as Kristoff placed the axe and rope on the counter next to the carrots.

"That'll be forty." Oaken said.

"Forty? No, ten." Kristoff said back affronted.

"Oh dear, that's no good." Oaken said, referring to the rope and axe. "See this is from our winter stock, where supply and demand have a big problem."

"You wanna talk about a supply and demand problem? I sell ice for a living." Kristoff said, gesturing outside the window towards his sled with several blocks of ice tied to it.

"Ooh, that's a rough business to be in right now. I mean, that is really..." Anna said before Kristoff gave her a cold look. "Ahem...that's unfortunate.

"And people say I put my foot in my mouth." Eugene muttered to Rapunzel.

"Because you do that a lot." Rapunzel joked back.

"Still forty. But I will throw in a visit to Oaken's sauna." Oaken said before gesturing towards the sauna door and waving. "Hoo-hoo! Hi, family."

"Hoo-hoo!" The family inside the sauna waved back.

Anna and Rapunzel waved back at the family with smiles of their own.

"If only it was empty." Eugene muttered to himself.

"Ten's all I got. Help me out. Kristoff pleaded.

"Okay." Oaken said before he put the carrots forward on the counter. "Ten will get you this and no more."

"Okay, just tell me one thing. What was happening on the North Mountain? Did it seem magical?" Anna asked as she emphasized.

Kristoff groaned a little as he pulled his mask down to answer.

"Yes. Now back up, while I deal with this crook here." Kristoff warned as they all turned to see Oaken stand up.

He was pretty tall now with a sad and offended expression.

"What did you call me?" Oaken asked.

"Ooooh raise the roof, you're dead." Eugene gawked.

Suddenly Oaken had Kristoff hung over his shoulder as he went out the door.

"Okay. Okay, I- Ow!" Kristoff protested as his head bumped the wooden sign and then Oaken tossed him out. "Wooooa!"

Then Kristoff landed in the snow as Oaken walked back in while waving. "Bye bye!" He said while sounding casual.

Maximus and Fidella looked weirded out at this from where they were parked by the entrance. And then Sven the Reindeer happily ran up to Kristoff expecting Carrots.

"No, Sven, I didn't get your carrots." Kristoff replied as he sat up.

"Uuugh!" Sven groaned with a sad look as he slumped.

"But I did find us a place to sleep. And it's free." Kristoff gestured optimistically over to the dilapidated barn right behind them.

It didn't look like a bad place to stay. But it didn't look good either. Perfect for a mountain guy like Kristoff.

Back inside. Oaken sat back behind the counter as everyone looked rather tense from seeing Kristoff thrown out.

"I'm sorry about this violence. I will add a quart of lutefisk, so we'll have good feelings. Just the outfit and boots, yah?" Oaken offered with a friendly smile as he placed a glass jar of lutefisk on the counter.

Then Anna looked down at the supplies Kristoff was going to buy when she realized they'll need his help to get to the North Mountain. If Elsa is there. Kristoff cna take them there.

"Uh that depends, and please don't toss me for saying this. But...did those originally come from a can?" Eugene awkwardly asked about the jar of lutefisk.

Rapunzel and Anna shared a glance at each other before nodding.

"We'll also take the supplies that gentleman was going to buy." Rapunzel said.

"I'll pay for them. Money is no object." Anna said as she pulled out the money needed.

"Oh she'll pay. Royalty comes in spades around them." Eugene assured.

Oaken went with the sale and they got the items before they all went outside and had a discussion by the entry.

"If what Jacked Frost told us is true. Then Elsa definitely went up the North Mountain." Eugene whispered to them.

And Cassandra is with her there too.

"I hope she's okay." Anna muttered in concern.

"Don't worry, Anna. I know Cassandra's with her. So I know she's doing just fine." Rapunzel said reassuringly.

Anna knew her cousin was right. Cassandra being a Guardian and a friend or Verum Rex and the Maverick would mean that her sister is in good hands.

Meanwhile inside the barn...

Kristoff was lying down on a bale of hay and playing his lute while Sven rested right by him as he sang. Either the magic of Fantasia or a nice lullaby. Or both.

"Reindeers are better than people~ Sven, don't you think that's true?~" Kristoff sang softly.

He then changed his voice as he sang for the reindeer as Sven nodded his part, "Yeah, people will beat you and curse you and cheat you!~ Every one of them's bad, except you!~"

"Aw, thanks buddy." Kristoff chuckled and scratched Sven's head before once again he resumed singing, "But people smell better than reindeers~ Sven, don't you think I'm riiiiiight?~"

Kristoff then changed his voice again as Sven nodded, "That's once again true!~ For all except you!~"

"You got me." Kristoff chuckled with shrugged. "Let's call it a night~"

"Goodnight!~" Kristoff sang for Sven as they both prepared to rest as Kristoff went back to his normal voice,

"Don't let the frostbite biiiiite~" Kristoff sang softly as they laid down against the hay.

And just when they were about to drift off into sleep, Anna opened the door to the barn. "Nice duet." She complemented.

Kristoff gasped up in shock until he saw who it was. Anna was now in the winter clothes she bought and changed her hair so she could put on the hat. This outfit is a traditional Norwegian clothing called a 'Bunad'.

Which consisted of a medium-length, dark blue skirt with a lavender round-cut lining with points and with each rose and periwinkle print similar to a rose around the skirt on each point, and each periwinkle bush-like print on each of its round edges with a black bodice with gold trim and green, red, yellow, and purple rose prints on it, a light blue long-sleeved blouse, and black heeled leather boots with gold linings and magenta soles. She also wears a magenta bonnet with purple lining, lavender fluff, and matching white print on the back, a pair of blue mittens with navy blue palms, a detachable magenta cape with a matching cap, purple linings, and small Byzantium tassels on the edge of the cape with a silver brooch consisting of a pair of hearts with gray prints attached to her cape and magenta lipstick.

Yes this was copied off of wikia. Do you really expect us to describe the dress?!

Kristoff sighed in relief and felt the need to roll his eyes. "It's only you. What do you want?" He replied.

"I need you to take me to the North Mountain." Anna told him.

But Kristoff gave her a deadpanned look as he laid back down and used his hat as a sleep mask over his eyes. "I don't take people places."

"Let me rephrase that..." Anna said before she tossed something.

Then a sack of the supplies landed in Kristoff's lap. He sat up and looked in the bag to see all the things he was planning to buy were in the sack as Anna told him firmly.

"Take me up the North Mountain... Please." Anna said that last part with a mild timid gesture.

Kristoff stared at her. He clearly doesn't take orders. Especially from a town he doesn't live directly in. But then Anna spoke up.

"Look, I know how to stop this winter..." Anna told him. "Me and my relatives do anyway."

Kristoff considered what she was saying before he mentally decided 'Oh what the heck? She's nuts but at least she paid for my things.'

Then Kristoff laid back down and pulled his hat over his eyes with a sleepy smile.

"We leave at dawn." Kristoff said.

"And you've forgot the carrots for Sven." Anna added.

Then a bag of carrots hit him in the face making him grunt, as the Princess quickly apologized

"Opps! Sorry! Sorry! I didn't mean..." Anna frantically said before she cleared her voice into a firm one. "We leave now... right now..."

Anna turned away as Kristoff shared a carrot with Sven. As she took a deep breath, and realized this was going to be a long journey.

Rapunzel walked over to her. "Well? What did he say?" She quietly asked Anna. "Did he agree to help us?"

"I believe so. I think he's just getting ready." Anna whispered back.

"I can hear you." Kristoff called out from the barn, making them both wince.

A little bit later on the trail to the North Mountain...

As Rapunzel rode on Maximus and Eugene was riding on Fidella. Anna was riding in Kristoff sled that was being driven by Sven. They all rode across the forest.

"heya! Heya! Heya!" Kristoff said as they rode through the snow and around a corner, Anna herself was enjoying the ride. "Hang on. We like to go fast!"

"I like fast!" Anna smiled as she put her boots up on the top of the sled.

"Woah woah woah! Get your feet down!" Kristoff exclaimed, pushing Anna's feet off. "This is fresh lacquer. Seriously, were you raised in a barn?"

Kristoff then spit on it, and started rubbing it clean, some of the spit hitting Anna's face.

"No, I was raised in a castle." Anna groaned as she wiped the spit off.

At this point, Maximus and Fidella were running side by side with the sled between them.

"So uh, tell me. What made the queen go all ice crazy?" Kristoff asked Anna.

"Oh hang tight, pal. You're gonna love this." Eugene said sarcastically from Fidella and while Rapunzel didn't say anything, she didn't argue with him either.

Anna ignored Eugene before speaking.

"Well, it was all my fault." Anna admitted to Kristoff. "I got engaged. But then she freaked out because I'd only just met him, you know, that day. And she said she wouldn't bless the marriage , and-"

"Wait." Kristoff stopped her, looking befuddled. "You got engaged to someone you just met that day?"

"Yeah. Anyway," Anna continued on as a look of shock and bewilderment graced Kristroff's face. "I got mad. And so she got mad. And then she tried to walk away. And I grabbed her glove.

"Hang on!" Kristoff Interrupted again after shaking his head, looking at Anna like she was crazy. "You mean to tell me you got engaged to someone you just met that day!?"

"Yes, pay attention." Anna sighed in annoyance.

"I think he's paying attention. He's just having trouble believing what he's hearing." Eugene muttered to himself.

"But the thing is, she wore the gloves all the time. So I just thought maybe she has a thing about dirt." Anna said.

"Didn't your parents ever warn you about strangers?" Kristoff asked.

"... Yes they did." Anna said, scooting away from Kristoff.

"But something tells me they did teach you to ignore any incoming warning signs about settling down. Think you can pass those lessons on to Blondie?" Eugene joked

"Eugene!" Rapunzel whined.

"Hans is not some stranger." Anna argued.

"Oh yeah? What's his last name?" Kristoff asked as raised an eyebrow. Making her scoff.

"Of the Southern Isles." Anna slowly answered.

"What's his favorite food?" Eugene asked.

"Sandwiches." Anna instantly.

"Best friend's name?" Kristoff asked the next one.

"Probably John." Anna shrugged.

"Eye color?" Eugene asked.

"Dreamy." Anna gushed.

"Foot size?" Kristoff asked.

"Foot size doesn't matter." Anna said amusingly.

"It does if you want your second mouth to not feel sore." Eugene snickered.

"Second mouth. What?" Anna inquired.

"Have you had a meal with him yet?" Kristoff asked Anna. "What if you hate the way he picks his nose?"

"Picks his nose?" Anna asked with a disgusted cringe on her face.

"And eats it." Kristoff said.

"Okay. That is disgusting." Rapunzel said.

"Excuse me, sir. He is a Prince." Anna said in an affronted tone.

"All men do it." Kristoff said nonchalantly.

"Eeeew!" Both Anna and Rapunzel cringed.

"Okay. That is where I have to disagree with you, pal. I have never done anything like that in my entire life!" Eugene said with an affront expression himself.

Max snorted with an eye roll, as if to say 'yeah right.'

But it's true. Eugene never did. It's actually the top five grosses things to ever do.

"Though I can't speak for Lance." Eugene muttered.

"Look it doesn't matter! It's true love." Anna argued.

"Well..." Rapunzel said as she was thinking of what to say next.

"Doesn't sound like true love to me." Kristoff replied.

Anna raised an eyebrow, "Are you some sort of love expert?" She snorted.

Kristoff paused for a moment.

"No, but I have friends who are." Kristoff replied.

"Yeah, that would explain why you've yet to mention that you're dating anyone." Eugene quipped.

"Oooh, your friends are love experts? I have got to meet them. Maybe we can exchange matchmaking tips." Rapunzel said excitedly.

"Oh boy. I feel the headache coming." Eugene muttered to himself.

Just then, Kristoff heard something as his eyes scanned the area with furrowed brows and he pulled Sven to a slow halt while he took his lantern.

"You have friends who are love experts." Anna scoffed with her arms crossed. " Sorry, Cus but coming from him. I'm not buying it."

This Princess is not bothering to hide her witty sarcasm.

"Stop talking." Kristoff replied quietly.

"Wait hold up. Does anyone else hear that?" Eugene inquired as he turned around on Fidella.

"Hear what?" Anna looked back as Rapunzel turns around on Max.

They all looked back and the horses ears picked up on the noise of some low growls way behind them. And as Kristoff held his lantern out. They could ass see the illuminated yellow eyes of a back of wild winter wolves. All looking at the group like meals.

"Sven. Go!" Kristoff immediately yelled as Sven ran and droge the sled at a fast pace.

"Ride Max!" Rapunzel yelled as the horses neighed and rode off with Eugene who was still on Fidella to follow Kristoff and Anna.

As the wolves barked and chased after them like a meal rush. These wolves growled and barked with dangerous furocious intent.

"What are they?!" Anna asked, looking worried as she held on.

"Wolves!" Kristoff answered.

"Wolves?!" Anna's eyes widened.

"And lots of them!" Rapunzel exclaimed as she brought out her Vibranium Frying Pan and set it to pistol mod.

"You two keep going! We'll try drawing some of the wolves away from you!" Eugene exclaimed as he pulled out his sword.

And then Rapunzel set her pistol to stun as she and Eugene rode off in an opposite direction. Rapunzel even struck a thunder spell on a tree to scare some of the wolves away, thanks to the upgrades and bits of magic her guardian friends shared with her weapon. And a large number of the wolves followed after them. Since they wanted to eat the horses too. But a good number of wolves still chased after Anna and Kristoff.

"You sent your pan to stun?!" Eugene exclaimed as he used his sword to swing and intimidate the wolves away.

"Of course I set this to stun! Some of them might have puppies, and I will not make those puppies orphans!" Rapunzel yelled back as she kept firing her stun blasts.

"Ugh! You and your truth!" Eugene shouted as he knew she was right.

Meanwhile Kristoff and Anna were still riding on the sled to lose their own set of wolves. But it was with great difficulty as those predators were gaining on them.

"What do we do?!" Anna asked as Kristoff leaned over and reached for a torch stick in his cargo.

"I got this! Just don't fall off and don't get eaten!" Kristoff told her as he took out a torch stick and lit it with his lantern.

"But I wanna help!" Anna insisted.

"No." Kristoff said.

"Why not?" Anna asked.

"Because I don't trust your judgement." Kristoff said.

"Excuse me?" Anna asked, looking quite offended.

"Who marries a man she just met!?" Kristoff asked as he kicked an incoming wolf away.

"It's true love!" Anna exclaimed as she grabbed Kristoff's lute and swung in his direction.

"Woah!" Kristoff ducked, allowing Anna to hit the wolf that was about to pounce on Kristoff.

Before Kristoff could say anything, another wolf leaped up and grabbed at Kristoff's sleeve with its teeth.

"WOAH!" Kristoff cried out as he was pulled off the sled, making him drop his torch which Anna quickly grabbed.

"Christopher!" Anna cried out in concern as Kristoff now held on to a rope that was pulling him along as the wolves gave chase.

"It's Kristoff!" Kristoff called back in an annoyed tone until two wolves ran up and started biting at the pants sleeves of his legs. "Ow! Ow!"

Sven, upon seeing his best friend in danger, tried to run faster to escape the wolves chasing them.

Meanwhile, Anna reached down behind the sled and used the torch to ignite a big sack which she quickly grabbed by the sides.

"DUCK!" Anna cried out as she tossed the burning sack.

"AAAAHHH!" Kristoff screamed as he saw the sac coming his way, making duck his head down as the sac sailed over him and hit the two wolves attacking him, knocking them back.

But more wolves were still coming after them.

"You almost set me on fire!" Kristoff exclaimed as she climbed the rope to get back onto the sled.

"But I didn't!" Anna said back as she helped pull him back onto the sled.

"Roooo!" Sven exclaimed with wide eyes as he looked up ahead, making Anna and Kristoff look as well, earning gasps from the two.

They were fast approaching a cliff.

"Get ready to jump, Sven!" Anna called out.

"You don't tell him what to do! I do!" Kristoff exclaimed as he shoved a sack into Anna's arms and hoisted her into his arms.

"Hey!" Anna exclaimed before yelping as she was tossed towards Sven. "Woah!"

She landed on Sven's back as Kristoff, still on the sled, pulled out a knife.

"Jump, Sven!" Kristoff called out as he cut the rope connecting Sven to the sled, allowing Sven to use all his momentum to jump over the cliff and towards the other side, barely making it himself.

"Woah! Ahhhhhh!" Kristoff exclaimed as he jumped from the sled as it soared through the air and barely made it to the other side.

Looking back, he let out a sigh of relief as he saw the wolves could not get to them, before looking down with a sad look as he saw the destroyed remains of his sled catch on fire from the lantern.

"Mmmmm. But I just paid it off." Kristoff whimpered sadly before feeling himself slipping off the side. "Uh oh. No. No no no no."

Before he could fall off the edge, a large strand of yellow rope was thrust his way.

"Grab on!" He heard someone say, before grabbing onto it, before he felt himself being pulled up. "Pull, guys! Pull!"

He looked up to see it was Rapunzel's hair he was holding on to, with Eugene and s surprised yet relieved Anna helping to pull while Sven stood with Maximus and Fidella, looking worried.

Eventually, they were able to pull Kristoff to safety, allowing him to roll onto his back and breathe in relief.

"Wow. That is a lot of hair." Anna muttered in amazement.

"Thanks." Rapunzel smiled.

Then Eugene looked over the cliff and saw Kristoff's sled completely on fire. Even Anna looked over feeling guilty.

"Woah." Anna cringed.

"So. Your day and plans have been ruined because of a hyperactive quirky fish out of water who demanded you to take them on a trip, huh?" Eugene mused to lighten the mood. "Hang in there, Pal. I've been there."

Kristoff groaned as he facepalmed himself with both hands.

"I'll replace your sled and everything in it," Anna said with regret to Kristoff before she sighed. "And I understand if you don't want to help me anymore."

Rapunzel was gonna add 'or us' but she decided to leave it.

"So. North Mountain. Any idea where that is, cause all of this is new territory for me." Eugene spoke up as they walked away from Kristoff.

Max and Fidella looked at Sven who nodded to them with a wink, as if to say 'Don't worry, I got this. Kristoff is a bro, I know how to handle him'. And Max had a look that said 'Knock yourself out'.

Then Sven walked over and huffed while looking at Kristoff with an expected got up and could tell what he was thinking.

"Of course I don't want to help them anymore. In fact, this whole thing has prevented me from helping anyone ever again." Kristoff said to the Reindeer.

"They'll die out on their own." Kristoff spoke for Sven.

"I can live with that." Kristoff replied.

"But you won't get your new sled if they're dead." Kristoff spoke for Sven again.

Before he looked exasperated. "Sometimes, I really don't like you." Kristoff deadpanned.

Which made Sven smile and pant. Maximus and Fidella were weirded out by the conversation. It's as if Sven possessed Kristoff's mouth. Or maybe Kristoff is a mind reader.

Meanwhile Rapunzel and Eugene along with Anna were still lost.

"Alright Pascal. Which way is North?" Rapunzel held Pascal out of her hand.

Pascal looked around for a bit. Turning a few times. Before he turned back around and shrugged.

"Ugh! of all the things we thought to bring. Gear, weapons, food and personal items, why didn't we think to bring a compass?!" Eugene exclaimed.

"Hold up! We're coming." Kristoff called back over with a hint of reluctance. As Sven was running over with Max and Fidella to catch up to them.

"You are?!" Anna perked up before she acted cool about it. "I mean, sure. We'll let you tag along."

"Course my gut's telling me it's getting late. I'm sure the trail will be much less dark and teeth infested in the morning." Eugene said as he stretched his arms.

"That's true. We should definitely set up camp for the night." Rapunzel suggested.

"Yeah but how are we gonna do that?" Anna asked her cousin. "I didn't bring any tents with me for us to set up. Did you?"

"Not really but look on the bright side, at least we lost those wolves." Eugene shrugged.

*Wolf howl!*

"OH COME ON!" Eugene exclaimed.

And just as a pack of more wolves came out from the dark areas of the trees. And growled at the group. Rapunzel readied her frying pan pistol. While Anna readied a stick in her hand. Kristoff had an axe pick while Eugene unsheathed Excalibur. The wolves were drawing in closer. And closer.

Ready to attack.

And just as the wolves were about to leap over to them. Suddenly landed in a ball of fire was the Maverick. Who had shifted into the M-Rex.

You know the Robotic T-Rex from the Wreck It Ralph chapter.

The M-Rex growled at the wolves who growled back and then he did the roar.

*T-Rex Roaaaaaaaaaaaaar!*

The wolves whimpered in fear and ran off. While the M-Rex gave two middle fingers with his tiny arms.

"What just happened?" Kristoff looked confused and amazed.

"Reality only goes downhill from here, bud." Eugene joked as he patted his shoulder.

"Your timing could not have been any better. I'm so glad you caught up with us." Rapunzel smiled with relief looking up at the metal dinosaur.

"Uh guys? Why are you not freaking out at the sight of a metal dinosaur?" Anna asked.

"Oh. Right. I forgot. My parents didn't tell you in the letter." Rapunzel timidly realized.

"Tell me 'what' in the letters?" Anna asked slowly with a raised eyebrow.

"Blondie's rich adopted sibling Orion, is the Maverick."

"Damn straight." M-Rex said in a deep voice before he shifted back into the normal Maverick and looked at Rapunzel. "All of Sinister's reproductive Storm Troopers didn't know shit. But the last one spilled his lips."

Then Shift came over from the air and landed next to him. While holding an empty syringe of truth serum.

"All because of my confiscating fingers." Shift mused.

"Nice one, Thunder Sis. Up top!" Rapunzel beamed, holding up her hand for a high-five, which shift returned.

"That's great and all. But what took you so long to get here?" Eugene asked.

"We had to lock up all Sinister goons. Right after I cavity searched all of them using X-ray tech instead of a rubber glove." Maverick explained.

"And we took a pit stop at this trading post that had the sauna available." Shift smirked as she rested her forearm on Maverick's shoulder.

30 minutes earlier at the Wandering Oaken's Trading Post...

Oaken was just sitting behind the counter humming as the Sauna only had Orion and Friday in their human skin forms. Completely nude behind a thick fog, and having one 'banged' up time. While both of their clothes were folded on the rack by the door.

"Ah! Ah! Ryan! Ooh! Yeah! Harder Baby! Oooh!" Friday panted and moaned inside the sauna.

"Need an extra ten minutes, yah? Just ten more coins?" Oaken offered from the desk with a casual smile.

"Take twenty from my pouch, Scandi Walgreens! I'm dreaming of a blue, red and white Christmas right now!" Orion yelled from inside the sauna.

Resuming where we were before...

"Okay I did not need to know that." Eugene deadpanned with a weirded out expression.

"Considering that they named their shop the anagram for Naked Norwegians. THEY HAD IT COMING!" Maverick exclaimed with an angry look.

"I'm totally confused. Are these two your mystical entourages or something?!" Kristoff inquired as he was completely lost.

"Do I look like Jerry Ferrera, Glee Cast?" Maverick inquired with a fourth wall break.

"More like his sister." Rapunzel said jokingly before doing the introductions. "Anna, Kristoff. While the world knows them as Maverick and Shift, I know them better as my adopted brother and sister-in-law, Orion and Friday."

Maverick then shifted back into Orion without his mod so they could see his red skin. And Shift turned back into Friday with her normal blue Kree skin noticed.

"Wait wait wait wait. You're brother? The Maverick? How come I'm just now hearing this?!" Anna gawked.

"We were working up to it, but our schedule got interrupted by the party crashers." Eugene said in humorous defense.

"Plus. Something like this is much better in person." Rapunzel said.

"Also if the blue and red are turning you off. I'm a mutant with fire abilities and she's an alien hybrid who can shape shift." Orion quickly explained their skin color.

"You were right." Kristoff muttered to Eugene.

"About what?" Eugene replied.

"About reality going down hill." Kristoff answered.

"We're about to set up camp by the lake straight ahead. We'll explain what sinister's thugs told us once we're there." Friday said to them.

"Sounds good to me." Rapunzel said.

"I have so many questions right now." Anna muttered in shock and awe.

As everyone walked down towards the lake nearby which was a pretty nice set up. Surrounded by trees. Clean water. And a perfect view of the sky. They would've seen the stars if it weren't for the cold clouds blocking the stars and moon.

By the time they made it over. Friday went inside of a normal size blue tent. Which everyone was taken back by. Even the horses tilted their head in confusion. The tent looked big enough for two. But not enough for even six people, two horses and a reindeer for that matter.

"In here, folks!" Orion called over as he stood by the tent entry.

"All of us?" Anna asked in surprise. "It looks like it'll be tight for two people. And there's six of us, plus two horses, a chameleon, and one reindeer."

"Trust me, Anna. Not everything is what it seems." Rapunzel said mysteriously with an eye wink.

"Those of you who watched Harry Potter know what you're in for." Orion said to the Readers.

Eugene walked in first and everyone heard his voice inside. "Wooah! Guys you have got to see this!"

As Rapunzel. Anna. And Kristoff walked over. Anna was the first to go inside with Rapunzel and they gasped in awe as they saw how large it was inside. Despite how small it was from the outside.

This was a magic tent. Some of the best keybladers would use this whenever they had to stay out in the wilderness of certain worlds. The small size from the outside was meant for subtlety for the sake of the world order. But the inside was to accommodate the keyblade wielders and whoever is officially with them.

The inside had a living room that was set up like a Nordic home. Similar to the commoners who live in Arendelle. Complete with soft wooden furniture and comfortable beds. With the colors of red and green Nordic themes.

And there were sleep sections with beds and such. Even a section for the horses to rest over in the corner. Completely sectioned off. Completely with stalls and feeding areas

Inside the tent was Yozora who was writing some notes on his gummi phone.

Even Max. Fidella and Sven were amazed by the size of this tent from the inside.

"Hey guys. Make yourselves at home." Yozora said to them.

"Thanks." Rapunzel said as she took off her coat. "Gosh it's so good to be out of the cold."

"This is amazing." Anna muttered in awe.

"This has to be a dream." Kristoff muttered as he looked around. "I must've fallen off that cliff and hit my head."

"Trust me buddy. You're gonna wish that were the case." Eugene joked as he took his own coat off.

There was even a roaring fire over by the fire pit that was being kept under a circular furnace. Kristoff and Sven went over to rest as Kristoff leaned against his reindeer friend like a cushion as he sat down.

While Max and Fidella went over to the horse stalls. Anna and Rapunzel went over to the sofas to have a seat while Eugene took the sectional.

Orion and Friday took the section sofa while Yozora took the edge of the second sectional.

"Lance stayed behind to keep an eye on everyone at the castle. Plus to be our eyes and ears if anything changes over there." Yozora told them.

"How will he do that if he's all the way back in town?" Anna asked in confusion.

"We have ways to communicate across vast distances. Some industries used to charge for the use of minutes with such tech." Friday explained.

"Just start off with the first questions and Blondie and I will take it from there." Eugene assured.

"Okay. Sure. First question." Anna said calmly. "How long have you guys known about magic?"

"Well for us Guardians of the Unknown, it's been almost a decade. More than half I would say." Yozora stated.

"Zel here on the other hand, she's known magic her entire life. A whole blockbuster with a spinoff TV show worth." Orion gestured at his sister. Who scoffed a bit.

"Yeah well. Being kept in a tower most of your life by a power hungry woman who claimed to be your mother, had some of its perks. Like me having magical hair that glows when I sing." Rapunzel said with a quirky but upbeat attitude.

"Really? Your hair glows when you sing? That's pretty cool. You'd never need a lit torch." Anna said enthusiastically. "Does your hair do any other cool things?"

"It depends on which incantation I sing. I just found out not too long ago that they're are four different incantations." Rapunzel enthusiastically answered back.

"One heals folks. The other kills folks. One super charges and the other super charges for the dragon lady, formerly known as Cassandra." Eugene listed humorously.

"Cassandra's a dragon?" Anna inquired

"No. They just have this sibling rivalry it's been going on long before me and Ryan met them." Friday explained about Eugene and Cassandra.

"She and I had a difference in opinion for a short time but we're much better now. And closer than ever." Rapunzel said happily.

"Geez. How bad was it before?" Anna asked.

"Bad enough to go Mcbeth on all of our asses. Turns out the lady that kept Rapunzel in the tower all those years was Cass' birth mom. And she abandoned her own little girl for the fountain of youth you see before yee." Orion explained.

Anna wasn't near Elsa at the time when Cassandra told Elsa about her real mother.

"That's so awful! How could Cassandra's mother do that to her?" Anna asked in horror.

"That's the thing. Gothel never loved anyone. All she cared about was herself." Rapunzel frowned.

"If you lived long enough as she did, of course you'd become a she-devil." Eugene scoffed.

"But I think it's best if I start off at the beginning. You see, one day before my birthday. Eugene came up to my tower to..." Rapunzel hesitated to tell Anna anything about his Flynn Rider days.

Eugene was waving his arms behind Anna while mouthing 'Don't tell her!'

"To...hide from some friends he owed money to." Rapunzel timidly lied.

And Eugene gave two thumbs up.

"And what happened next?" Anna asked with anticipation.

While Orion looked at the Readers and used a universal TV remote to break the fourth wall, and fast forward through a large part of the conversation.

Up to the point where Kristoff was already asleep with Sven. And the horses were already asleep. Even Eugene was asleep at this point. But Orion. Friday and Yozora were still awake to listen and add anything to the story. And Rapunzel and Anna were drinking cups of hot cocoa while talking.

"And so during the party. Eugene got on his knees and announced his marriage proposal. To me. And while I felt rather touched. I felt scared to even say yes. Knowing how I felt about settling down and all." Rapunzel said as she twiddled her fingers.

"But you said yes, right? Or did someone interrupt you before you could?" Anna asked with anticipation.

"No. I wanted to say yes. But I said no." Rapunzel admitted.

Which Anna didn't expect to hear. Especially with her own actions. She almost shouted but remembered the others that were asleep.

"WHA- oops. I mean what? Why? What's wrong with being together forever with someone you love the most?" Anna asked in quiet surprise.

"It was complicated. Sort of. I had just gotten out of a tower. There was so much I missed out on. A whole world of possibilities and so much of myself I needed to discover. And I wasn't ready. To settle down and commit to a life in the palace, as a Queen and a wife. And so even now me and Eugene are taking our time." Rapunzel said and sighed. "We both don't want to commit to something we can't count on."

Anna couldn't help but think of what Rapunzel just said. Was she moving too fast with Hans?

"But you and Eugene still love each other. Right?" Anna asked carefully.

"Absolutely. Of course we both still love each other. I'm nothing without him." Rapunzel said with a bright smile on her face.

"And I feel the same way." Eugene agreed with his own smile.

"You're supposed to be asleep." Rapunzel smiled smugly at her boyfriend.

"Well sorry. I didn't know this was a private meeting." Eugene replied with playful sarcasm making Rapunzel and Anna giggle.

"So. What happened next?" Anna asked.

"Well. This leads up to when I met a certain adolescent knight who's crazy with a capital M." Rapunzel smirked at Orion who smirked back.

"This could take a while folks. Go check on Moonstruck in the meantime." Orion told the Readers to go over and see what Cassandra's doing.

As Rapunzel was continuing the story. At the same time. Cassandra was telling the story to Elsa. Only she was much further in since she started before Rapunzel did.

Meanwhile at the Ice Palace...

Because Cassandra traveled on the gummi ship with the Guardians during her missions. She had these coded meal packs that could turn into a full course meal with a simple drop of water. courtesy of Toon Town.

Because of these. Elsa and Cassandra were seated in the dining room. In chairs made of ice that felt like glass. With blush felt-like cushions. And the silverware and dishes felt like unbreakable glass despite being made of ice. It didn't feel cold at all.

And the meal consisted of a full course prime rib meal with a salad. A potato dish and french onion soup. And as they had their meal. Cassandra was telling the story from her side. While they were seated, facing each other.

"After it was all said and done. I was welcomed back home. Orion even made me this suit. And I was allowed to train. And become a keyblade master." Cassandra told the story.

"I'm glad you were able to reconcile with each other." Elsa said as she took a sip of her wine. "So, what does the title of Keyblade Master entail?"

"I'm still figuring that out. But so far I feel like I'm taking on much bigger challenges. Taking on responsibilities and carrying it with pride. So far I'm getting something I always wanted my entire life. To prove that I'm...so much more. And I'm more than capable." Cassandra explained in deep thought. Before looking at Elsa. "I hope I don't sound too prideful and self-centered just now."

"No no. Not at all. Wanting to prove that you're more than what others expect of you is never wrong. I'm happy things are going so well for you and your friends right now." Elsa said with a small smile before sighing. "I just wish I could say the same about myself."

Cassandra looked sympathetic as she couldn't help but feel for Elsa.

"So uh...How long have you had these powers?" Cassandra asked carefully.

"Honestly? I've had these powers for as long as I can remember. Since I was a little girl." Elsa replied back honestly after a moment of contemplation.

"Who else knew about them?" Cassandra asked.

"Just my parents. And some of the staff." Elsa answered.

"And Anna?" Cassandra asked with concern.

"Well...for a time she did. I was about eight year old the last time she saw me use it. And she got me up with excitement in the middle of the night to play. And...I had a certain level of control back then. Until I made the wrong move. She was jumping across some piles of snow I conjured up, but she went too fast and I panicked. And shot her in the head." Elsa explained the backstory.

"Crap...How did she survive?" Cassandra asked.

"Our parents took us to a colony of Rock Trolls that live in the woods." Elsa answered.

'So the rumors are true.' Cassandra thought to herself hearing about the Rock Trolls.

"Their elder was able to heal Anna at the cost of her memories. After that she never knew until today. But he warned us that my powers would be a danger if I didn't learn to control. And that fear would be my enemy." Elsa said while in thought. "As a result. My parents locked the gates. Reduced the staff and kept me safe inside from anyone else from getting hurt. Including...Including Anna."

"That explains why Rapunzel's parents haven't had much contact for years." Cassandra muttered in understanding. "But... What about after your parents' deaths? You continued to isolate yourself from everyone, including Anna?

"I had to, Cass. Contrary to how things have been, Anna means the world to me. And I could never forgive myself if anything were to happen to her. Especially if it's because of me." Elsa said with a depressed look.

"I get it. You don't want to hurt the ones you love." Cassandra said gently and sympathetically. "But isolating yourself hasn't solved any problems. All it's done is add more."

"I know. But I can't control it, Cass. I've tried." Elsa said with a troubled look as she looked down and placed her hand on the table. Which caused a bit of frost to build under the fingers. "It just hasn't been easy."

But Cassandra reached over and placed her hand on top. Which didn't frost over her hand.

"I know what isolating yourself can really do, Elsa. And I get It's not easy for everyone to look someone in the eye and say 'I'm hurting' or 'I'm sad' or 'I'm sorry'. But just because it's not easy doesn't mean you shouldn't do it." Cassandra spoke out of experience. The way she isolated her inner troubles and feelings from her best friend and sister Rapunzel.

"How do you solve something like this?" Elsa said as she looked at Cassandra.

"Well like you, I ran away and stopped holding back. Only you didn't want to cause any harm. While I, wanted to cause as much as possible. Thinking Rapunzel was the source of my problems. When the problem really was me, and how I interpreted everything. I was bitter. Resentful. And I let my real enemies take advantage of that." Cassandra said with the aftermath of guilt read on her face.

Then Elsa felt Cassandra wrap her hand around Elsa's cold one. Not flinching from the frost of the Snow Queen's fingers.

"I just don't want you to end up like I did." Cassandra expressed.

That's why Cassandra is here. And especially why her team is here. To help Elsa and keep her from suffering what Cassandra has suffered.

"What do I do then?" Elsa quietly asked.

"For now, just wait for my team to show up. They're dealing with those men who broke into the Castle last night." Cassandra said before giving her a comforting smile. "In the meantime, I will protect you if more trouble comes this way until my team arrives. And when all is said and done, we'll help you with your powers."

Elsa felt grateful. And maybe just a little unease. She wasn't used to anyone getting this close. Or helping her like this. For a Queen she never liked being the center of attention. But as modest as she was. Elsa still felt a strong sense of gratitude towards Cassandra. And she smiled at her which Cassandra returned.

Later on after dinner was finished. Cassandra decided to call it a night for Elsa. As they stood at her bedroom door.

"You should get some rest. It's been a long day for you." Cassandra said to her. "I'll stand out and keep watch just in case."

"What about you? Don't you need sleep?" Elsa asked, concerned for the older woman.

"Don't worry. I used to do this during Rapunzel's journey to the Dark Kingdom. I'll be fine." Cassandra assured with a smile. "You just get some sleep. Take your mind off of everything. And I'll help you test those ice fingers in the morning."

"Alright. But only if you're sure." Elsa said before giving Cassandra a quick kiss on the cheek, making the older girl's eyes widen in shock as Elsa's own widened as she realized what she had just done. "W-well, g-g-goodnight!"

Elsa quickly went into her room before Cassandra could even think of a response.

Cassandra just stood in shock after what just happened. And she touched her own cheek. While thinking about what this could mean. Cassandra turned and slowly walked towards the balcony while in deep thought.

"What the hell have you got yourself into, Cassandra?" Cassandra whispered to herself as she leaned against the rails. As she wasn't sure what to think of this.

Sure Cassandra found Elsa to be absolutely beautiful and engaging. But could she ever compete with royalty enough to start a relationship? Especially when certain kingdoms expect the Queen to marry into straight forward royalty for heirs and the union of another kingdom?

Cassandra wasn't sure. But protecting Elsa still was her priority. Whether it ends with them together or not. Though Cassandra doesn't expect the former.

The next morning on the trail to the North Mountain...

As Rapunzel and Anna walked with the others across the snowing trail of the forest. Verum Rex and Maverick passed the time making conversation.

"One thing you should know about Sinister. The Replica Program that Orion took was originally his project. Meaning Danielle practically exists because of him." Yozora revealed as they walked.

"Who's Danielle?" Anna asked.

"My genderbend carbon copy." Orion quipped. "Not in that Captain Marvel way."

"She also holds the title of Maveress. And she's also an amazing kick-ass girl." Rapunzel said with enthusiasm.

"She and Lucas were the ones who informed me about Sinister being interested in Elsa. I'm positive he wants to make his clones with her power." Yozora figured.

"I just felt a shudder go down my spine. And it wasn't from the cold." Anna said.

"Well he's not gonna get what he wants. We're gonna stop him and protect Elsa." Rapunzel said, determined.

"Try to save the confidence for when we see his troops again. Knowing Sinister, he'll have a large number of clones and to make them. He will need a certain number of mutants or super beings to make it possible." Friday said with a serious tone.

"Great. More work with no pay." Kristoff deadpanned as he was walking with Sven

"I feel your pain, Man." Eugene whispered.

"If you all want an example, last night I was contacted by an informant who escaped from Sinister's base. It's who we're heading to see right now." Yozora revealed.

"Really? Who is it?" Rapunzel asked in surprise with a raised eyebrow.

"We're not sure. God I hope it's not Howard The Duck, cause he's expensive and caused the curse that gave birth to Pixar." Orion stated with a fourth wall statement.

Just then as the group made it up to a snowy hill. There was a cave up ahead. Yozora and Orion shifted into the Maverick while Friday turned into Shift as they approached.

"Let us do most of the talking." Shift said to the group.

"Sure. No problem." Anna nodded with Rapunzel.

"I was talking to the boys." Shift gestured at Eugene and Kristoff.

"Excuse me!? I'm a top notch negotiator!" Eugene exclaimed, offended.

"Yeah, don't pay any attention to me. At this point, I'm just here for the ride." Kristoff said with a calm tone.

And as the group approached the cave entry. They saw someone familiar that Rapunzel would recognize from the Avengers films and comics. A guy with a bow and arrows and a black outfit with a purple color scheme and a leather jacket.

It was Clink Barton, AKA Hawkeye. Who was standing watch, leaning against the cave entry wall and twirling an arrow in his fingers.

"Took you Teen Titans along enough. I could hear you snoring all morning from here." Hawkeye grinned.

"I needed a couple of hours in, Daryl Dixon." Maverick snorted.

"Oh my God. It's Hawkeye." Rapunzel said in awe and excitement. "One of the Original Avengers!"

"Who? And the original what?" Anna asked as she was confused and blown away by Rapunzel's excitement.

"The Avengers! They're one of the greatest superhero teams in the entire Multiverse." Rapunzel explained to her cousin. "And Hawkeye, or Clint Barton, is one of those heroes, using incredible Archery skills to fire advanced arrows with all kinds of designs and effects."

"The more you know." Maverick humorously waved a rainbow in front of them.

"You may wanna hold in some of that excitement Princess. Cause I came with a couple of more." Hawkeye informed them.

"Like who?" Verum Rex asked.

Suddenly a familiar black man in a black bullet proof vest and matching pants and boots. With a leather jacket and a shotgun with a Katana came out. He also had a mild goatee with a pair of sunglasses.

This was Eric Cross Brooks. AKA Blade

"Ooooh shit it's Blade." Maverick gawked. Before he cleared his throat. "Sup, Brooks! Thought you were...retired."

Maverick said that last part with a western accent.

"Retarded?" Blade glared.

"Retired. I'm not looking to get canceled. Not while I'm setting foot in Jennifer Lee's money bin." Maverick emphasized with a fourth wall break.

"I don't like you." Blade seethed with a dagger pointed at him.

"You never did. Not even the Merc I'm based on." Maverick calmly quipped another fourth wall break.

"Blade... Wait!" Rapunzel gasped, looking a bit pale. "Blade, as in the Vampire hero who drinks people's blood? That Blade?"

"Cool your bangs, Ma'am. I'm not looking for a drink at the moment. Don't need it to live." Blade assured with a cool tone.

"Oh. Okay. If you say so." Rapunzel said nervously. "Sorry. It's just that stories of Vampires always give me goosebumps."

"Don't worry. He's not undead or like the cast of Twilight." Verum Rex assured.

"Or Salem's Lot. Thank God." Maverick hung his back with a groan.

"The vampires in the Marvel World are not undead predators like in those horror films. They're just another race hidden from society trying to survive." Shift assured.

"Though some of them are threats." Verum Rex added.

"Morbius is not here, right?" Maverick asked nervously.

"Nope." Blade confirmed.

"Unclench..." Maverick sighed in relief.

"Thank God for that." Rapunzel sighed in relief.

Just then another young woman came out of the cave. A light brown skin girl with a white pale patch-like tattoo over her left eye walked out. She was wearing a skin tight leather outfit with a jacket and a cleavage with heel boots. And a brown wavy mess afro.

"And you are?" Maverick inquired.

"Domino. I'm lucky." Domino grinned.

"If you're so lucky, then what are you doing here with us?" Maverick asked.

"I don't know yet." Domino shrugged.

"Meaning?" Maverick inquired with a raised eyebrow.

"It means 'I don't know yet'. But there's a reason I'm here. And I'll know when I know. Everything usually works out for me." Domino stood with her hand on her hip.

"Luck isn't a superpower, Charlie's Angel." Maverick scoffed.

"Yes, it is." Domino smiled.

"No, it isn't." Maverick deadpanned.

"Yes, it is." Domino replied.

"No, ma'am." Maverick dismissed.

"Mmm-hmm." Domino replied.

"Mario No-pez." Maverick countered.

"Yeah." Domino replied with the same smile.

"Nacho cheese." Maverick replied.

"No, it definitely is. I really-" Domino was gonna say.

"There's no way that it-" Maverick was about to reply.

"Sorry, I was interrupting you." Domino interrupted.

"Sorry. No, I interrupted you." Maverick countered.

"No, no, no. You can go first." Domino insisted.

"Oh, I was just gonna say, 'No, it isn't.'." Maverick replied.

"I was gonna just bring it back to that 'yes, it is'." Domino grinned.

"Let's meet in the middle and say, 'No, it isn't.' " Maverick replied.

"But it is." Domino smirked.

"CAN WE PLEASE MOVE ON?!" Eugene echoed in annoyance.

"I like her already." Shift grinned at Rapunzel

"Because of her personality, or because you want to bring her to your bedroom so she can get lucky?" Rapunzel asked with a smirk.

"I'm not always about bi-sex, Zel!" Shifted groaned in annoyance from Zel teasing her kinks.

"Sounds like a convenient power." Anna said about Domino's luck powers.

"Wait until you see me in action." Domino winked.

"Anyway, who else is with you?" Maverick asked them.

"For now just us three." Blade answered. "Wolverine was with me when I got captured by sinister. But Barton and Domino got me out before they could draw blood."

"I followed them all the way to this world. Somehow I survived the fall through a vortex." Domino added.

"I just used the Quinjet. Doms called me in for help and since my kids are at summer camp for now, I said yes." Hawkeye remarked.

"Well, I'm glad you could come to help us." Rapunzel said.

"Great. So not only are we trying to undo another Ice Age, we also have to contend with a madman with a clone fetish and rescue our resident Edward Scissor hands." Eugene quipped. "Anything else we should know?"

"They got Logan because they got his clone daughter, X23." Hawkeye revealed.

"Laura?" Verum Rex's eyes widened.

"Who?" Rapunzel asked.

"Exactly as Darts here said. Wolverine's clone daughter. And if Sinister is smart, he'll extract enough ingredients from her to process more of her with no fillers." Maverick answered.

"Oh my God." Rapunzel said before her eyes burned in anger. "Oh, we are definitely not letting this bastard get away with this."

"Show us where the base is." Verum Rex told the three marvel heroes.

They all nodded as they led everyone inside the cave. And as they walked in Anna had some questions from Rapunzel.

"Who's Wolverine? Is he like half a wolverine?" Anna whispered a question to Rapunzel.

"He's a superhero, and an X-Men member who can heal really fast and can make metal claws pop out of his knuckles." Rapunzel whispered back.

"Does that hurt?" Anna asked, looking concerned.

"I'm not sure, but I don't think he cares." Rapunzel shrugged.

Just then as they made it out of the other end of the cave. They saw a gated base just down the ridge. Complete with a metallic mobile lab in the middle. And army tents surrounding the place with Marauder Troops marching everywhere.

"Call it, Rex." Maverick nodded to his best friend.

"Alright. Our priority is to find Wolverine and shut this base down. Afterwards we will gather whatever intel we can." Verum Rex told the team.

"Plus we go in hard and fast. No need for stealth." Hawkeye remarked as he readied his bow.

"How large are his forces?" Rapunzel asked.

"Twenty Marauder troops. And a half dozen more. Expect a powered clone inside the lab. That's the real loot." Domino replied.

"You say that like it's dirty." Maverick quipped.

"Okay. What do you need me and Kristoff to do?" Anna asked them.

"What do you mean 'And Kristoff'?" Kristoff inquired.

"Just use this to keep watch for us. Let us know if there are any big surprises coming over the ridge behind the base." Verum Rex answered as he handed Anna a pair of binoculars.

"Think you can handle it, Cus?" Rapunzel asked with a knowing grin.

"Don't worry, Rapunzel. I got this." Anna said confidently. "I know what I'm doing."

"Yep. We're dead." Kristoff quipped.

"Don't be a wet blanket, Kris Kringle. These kids do this as a regular routine." Eugene remarked as he unsheathed Excalibur.

Rapunzel readied her frying pan and shifted it into an electric rod pan. While Verum Rex. Maverick and Shift readied their keybladed. Hawkeye readied his bow and arrows while Blade unsheathed his katana. And Domino readied her pistols.

As all of Sinister's men were doing a routine march around the gate entry. All was quiet. Until...

Coming out of the smoke in a slow walk was Maverick and Verum Rex walking together with shift. Hawkeye. Blade and Domino. Rapunzel and Eugene walked out of the smoke while Eugene coughed a bit. But Maximus and Fidella both were looking tough as they huffed through the smoke.

"Woah! You can do that?!" Domino asked as she was shooting some troops down without missing.

"Domino. We've barely scratched the surface of what this hair can do." Rapunzel said confidently as she kept waving her hair.

Meanwhile Blade was slashing and spinning his katana and then he tossed his throwable glaive to slash through five troops. While Hawkeye slashed over and shot six arrows at three troops. And those arrows caused an electric current that shocked five more troops.

Maverick jumped in the air and waved and thrusted his arms out to cause a dozen tents to explode with bursts of fire. And he landed and incinerated seven clones. Which made Eugene pause as he knocked some down.

"Don't feel bad, they're synthetic troops. They don't have a heart, let alone a conscience." Shift spoke up as she sent lightning bolts at eight of them.

Even Rapunzel knows Maverick's no kill rule is flexible to animals or anything that doesn't have a heart. It's not murder if they're not truly alive to begin with.

"Okay. That means I don't have to hold back. Good to know." Eugene said with a determined look.

And so Eugene slashed Excalibur at the incoming troops with perfect sword training. While Maximus and Fidella ran through them thanks to the neon kinetic build shields that covered them.

Verum Rex ran through as he spun his keyblades. Flipping over troops while knocking them down. And he even grabbed an incoming missile with one hand and slammed it into one of the troops before he leaped up and casted a gravity spell on the rocket launcher troop. Then he thrusted his keyblade to slam his amo to ten more troops.

Blade was using his shotgun to shoot down and blow more troops to bits while Hawkeye fired arrow after arrow at the troops. He even leaped into the air to shoot a sonic boom arrow that emits a loud burst noise. Causing the troops to fly in the air screaming.

As soon as the rest of the troops were taken care off. Maverick finished scanning in the mobile laboratory building.

"We've got a problem. That building inside is littered with booby traps. The kind with Sinister's mind tricks. and the kind of mind tricks that made me skip through Arkham Knight's secret ending." Maverick informed the group as they all gathered up near the entrance. "Basically if we go in and set off one of the traps. Sinister's automatic lab gear will attract Wolverine's DNA and store it in the Cloud."

"Then he'll be able to create a clone of Wolverine whenever he wants." Rapunzel muttered before gripping her handle tightly. "We'll have to be careful where we step then."

"No need. I'll go in." Domino announced.

"By yourself?" Verum Rex inquired. "It's dangerous in there. Especially for all of us if you trip one of those."

"Whatever. I'm going in." Domino answered as she ran over to the entry of the building.

"Uh, that's a negative, sole survivor. Luck is not a superpower!" Maverick called over as she went in. "We are so ***ked."

"No, we most certainly are not ***ked!" Domino echoed from inside the building.

"Seriously, I don't get it! What, you shoot luck lasers out of your eyes? It's just, it's hard to picture. And certainly not very cinematic." Maverick kept talking.

As Domino was inside dodging and flipping over traps. But no one could see her do it as they all stood outside.

Just then. As slashes and screams could be heard from the inside. As five dead Marauders were thrown out of the door. And suddenly. Wolverine walked out in long jeans. Boots and a brown leather jacket. While he smoked a cigar.

"Well, yeah you are in my world. But in the mountains, close to the Kingdom of Arrendelle." Rapunzel went on to explain. "Mr. Sinister plans to use my Cousin, Queen Elsa's DNA to make super clones with ice powers. So we came here to stop him along with rescuing you and Laura."

"Laura wasn't up there." Logan sneered with a growl.

"They didn't have her here. She's located in Sinister's second base." Blade informed him.

Logan went over and grabbed Blade by the collar of his jacket. "You told me she was in Alaska." He snapped.

"I said they took her there. They didn't say she was there." Blade said calmly.

"Logan. Sinister is an ex Syndicate member. He had a dark portal to this world from Alaska." Verum Rex explained.

Before Logan could ask another question. Eugene called over from a burnt tent.

"Hey guys, I found a trooper that's still alive." Eugene called out to them before quipping. "Oh boy, you're in for it all. I would've gone with a quick death over what's coming for you."

Logan then let's go of Blade and stomped over at the down troop while looking scary. And he slammed his boot on the guy's head making the troop grunt as he snarled.

"The girl. Is she alive?" Logan asked.

"What girl? I don't know any girls?!" The troop argued.

"Mm mm." Maverick shook his head as the others sighed knowing what was coming.

Logan growled as he grabbed the troop by the neck and slammed his claws into the guy's left knee.

"Ugh! ***K!" The troop screamed.

"Focus right here, Bub." Logan gestured his head with a low growl. "Or I'll pop your goddamn knee off. The girl." Logan warned with a low tone of fury.

"You should see him do this with the mask on. It's like Batman except he can turn his neck." Maverick whispered to Rapunzel.

"This is why I'm grateful he's on our side." Rapunzel muttered back.

The troop struggled to speak while in pain. And then he spoke. "She's alive. She's Sinister's newest guinea pig." The troop answered.

Just then the troop's radio buzzed on his hip.

*"Trooper. What's going on down there? Cloning production has fallen behind on the radar."* Mr Sinister's voice was heard.

Logan glared hard as he pulled his claws out of the troop making the guy scream before Logan yanked the radio off and responded back to Sinister as he walked slowly back to the group.

"All of your men are fired, Bub. And I'm coming for you." Logan sneered.

*"Ah. Wolverine. We could've been so well acquainted this time. I guess I'll have to work twice as hard on the girl. No worries. She's a fighter. Just like her old man."* Mr Sinister chuckled evilly on the radio.

"You keep your ***king hands off of her you GODDAMN SON OF A BITCH!" Logan bellowed in response.

*"That's up to you. I'm here at the primary base. I'm more than willing to get her off the hook. If you're willing to take her place. All I want is the blood of the Queen. And it's more than worth the risk of your claws."* Mr Sinister replied sinisterly.

Before the radio turned off. Logan huffed and smashed the radio to the ground. Rapunzel slowly approached Logan as he stood up while looking off with an angry expression.

"If he so much as removed one ***king hair on her head..." Logan snarled.

"We're going to get Laura back. And make Sinister pay for what he's done." Rapunzel said reassuringly.

"Not just pay. I'm gonna make sure he wakes up in hell." Logan breathed.

"Easy, Tiger. Let's save that raw energy when we get to the main base." Hawkeye suggested.

"He's got a couple more heroes down there. Y'all better be careful." Blade spoke up.

"Aren't you coming?" Shift asked.

"Can't. Sinister still has a portal attached to this base. I'm gonna need to shut it down from the other end." Blade informed them.

"What about us? We're still practically trapped in the fridge." Eugene pointed out since Elsa's powers are still blocking communication to the Mav Club.

"You don't wanna travel through Sinister's portals. Trust me." Logan warned them.

"He's right. His portals are drawn directly from the Realm Of Darkness. Not even me or Mav could handle the trip." Verum Rex spoke up.

"I can. I got protection thanks to Strange's little Vishanti charm." Blade stated before he looked at Rapunzel. "I'll pass the word over to him, and he'll let your folks know what's going on. And that their kids are alright."

He could've said just 'daughter'. But the King and Queen Of Corona consider Maverick and Rapunzel as their kids. Especially Shift.

And everyone knows that.

"Okay. Thanks." Rapunzel said in an appreciative tone. "Good luck."

"Don't ever need it." Blade grinned as he looked over at a station under a tent.

He pulled the drapery and saw a dark portal. Then Blade picked up the one living clone troop and flung him over his shoulder making the trooper groan before Blade ran through the portal. And disappeared. A few seconds later. The dark portal shuts down.

"You know when you look past the Rated R content. He's actually a pretty cool guy." Maverick said to Rapunzel before he looked at the Readers. "I know all you think differently."

He's right. Fans adore him because of the blood and gore.

"Yeah, you're right. He's actually kind of growing on me." Rapunzel said with a small smile.

"But just in case he has friends with thirsty teeth, I'm still not inviting him over." Maverick cautiously mused.

"Oh definitely. I agree." Rapunzel said without hesitation.

She's starting to like Blade. But Vampires still creep her out.

"No need to add a capital letter to that. Even my Author's Mom would banish his ass if she saw him with a jar of Christopher Lee's pearly whites." Maverick said a fourth wall statement to the Author.

I don't have a jar of- you know what? I'm not even gonna try.

"The base is five to six clicks from here. We can take you there." Domino spoke up.

"Lead the way Lady Luck. I'll go roundup Mountain Dew and Veronica Mars. And they're little Dasher too." Maverick said as he teleported over to go get Anna, Kristoff and Sven.

Then Eugene stood next to Rapunzel.

"So. Which Marvel Trading Card do you think might be at this next stop?" Eugene asked her.

"At this point, we might run into the Ice Man since everything's FROZEN right now." Rapunzel joked, breaking the fourth wall without realizing it.

Maverick commedically gasped "My fourth sight is contagious." He whispered and looked at the Authors. "Don't make her do that again."

On that note. Everyone got ready to walk on further. This next stop would bring them much closer to finding Elsa. And much further in the beauty of her power.

Mr Sinister doesn't know what he's messing with. And something told the Guardians that he doesn't care. Well. He's about to wish he did.

Later across the Valley of Ice...

As the group was walking across the valley. Rapunzel. Eugene. Anna and Kristoff were admiring the ice branches on a tree that was gleaming with ice. With beads made of ice. Sven shook his antlers playfully around the icey beads.

Up head the group saw a frozen river. And Hawkeye could see a path right past it. But Wolverine could sniff out trouble not too far from their location. And he had to be sure.

"You all wait here. Barton and I will scout ahead." Wolverine told them.

"Shout out if you need us." Hawkeye told the group.

"Will do. Just be careful you two." Rapunzel said.

On that note. Hawkeye and Wolverine went up towards the path to see if there were any surprises. knowing them, they'll handle a few threats that are up ahead before bringing the group over. Especially since they have some civilians with them.

This gave the Guardians time to admire the beauty of winter. Despite it being summer.

Maverick. Verum Rex and Tsunami went down to check over the frozen river. And see how stable the ice is. While Eugene. Rapunzel. Anna and Kristoff stood together.

Max and Fidella were running around the icy branches with Sven.

"I never knew winter could be so beautiful." Anna muttered fondly as she looked around.

"Yeah! It really is beautiful, isn't it?" Everyone heard, making them turn to look at Sven for a moment before looking around for the source of the voice, Rapunzel, Eugene, Max, and Fidella tense and cautious for a possible attack. "But it's so white. You know, how about a little color? I'm thinking like maybe some crimson, chartreuse. How about yellow?"

As they all stood there looking until Rapunzel, Eugene, Max, and Fidella found the source of the voice approaching. It was a noseless snowman (OLAF), making the four relax at seeing her was obviously not a threat. Anna, Kristoff, and Sven have yet to notice him.

"No, not yellow. Yellow and snow? Brrrr...no go!" Olaf said with a disgusted look before laughing and walking over to stand between Anna and Kristoff who finally took notice of him. "Am I right?"

"AAAAH!" Anna screamed and kicked Olaf's head which flew off his body and landed in Kristoff's hands.

"Hi!" Olaf said.

"You're creepy." Kristoff said before tossing the head to Anna.

"I don't want it!" Anna yelled before tossing it back to Kristoff.

"Woh! Back at ya!" Kristoff yelled back before tossing it back to Anna.

"Please, don't drop me." Olaf said as Anna tossed his head back to Kristoff while his body was stumbling about.

"Come on, it's just a head." Kristoff said before tossing it back to Anna.

"No!" Anna exclaimed as she tossed the head back at Kristoff.

Meanwhile, as Anna and Kristoff were practically playing Hot Potato with the Snowman's head, Rapunzel, Eugene, Max, Fidella, and Sven watched from the sidelines.

"I want to say this is the strangest thing we've seen so far. But I can't." Eugene said with his arms crossed.

"Yeah. We've been desensitized to this sort of thing quite a bit." Rapunzel said, earning grunts of agreement from the two horses while the reindeer was just confused.

"Alright, we got off to a bad start." Olaf said as his body walked up to Anna, who had his head at this point.

"Ew, ew, the body!" Anna cringed as she threw Olaf's head back onto his body which landed upside down on him, making him look confused as he stood back up.

"Wait. What am I looking at right now? Why are you hanging off the earth like a bat?" Olaf asked as everything looked upside down to him.

Just then, Yozora and Friday came over.

"Okay. What?" Shift inquired about the talking snowman.

"Either I'm confused or Elsa must be more powerful than we thought." Yozora said in surprise.

Then Orion teleported back over.

"What are we talking abou-" Orion almost asked before he was startled and pointed in total shock. "WHAT THE FUDGE COVERED JESUS IS THAT THING?!"

Sound familiar folks?

"Why did I suddenly get a serious sense of déjà vu?" Anna asked while looking confused.

"I have no idea." Rapunzel said before addressing her brother. "Relax, Ryan. It's just a snowman. He's harmless."

"No. A snowman is a medieval banksy. That! Is the last thing we all see before we die. either that or the birth of product placement hell." Orion said as he was still in shock. And made a fourth wall breaking statement.

"You have Bugs Bunny and Spider-Man's phone number and this freaks you out?" Yozora asked with an amused grin.

"If you had watched Jack Frost starring Michael Keaton, or that creepy Nestea Cool commercial, you'd understand how creepy as ***k the men in ice really are." Orion replied with a serious and humorous tone.

"Is he alright?" Kristoff asked.

"He's never alright." Eugene replied with wit.

"I'm just now hearing Mav's list of contacts and have bigger questions about that than the snowman." Domino spoke next to them.

"You're telling me." Anna said before taking a deep breath and walking towards Olaf. "Alright. Wait one second."

Feeling sorry for Olaf, Anna put his head right side up.

"Oh! Thank you!" Olaf said happily.

"You're welcome." Anna said with a small smile.

"Now I'm perfect." Olaf said, earning a slight giggle from Anna.

"Well, almost." Anna said before she reached for a carrot, only for Yozora to see it coming and already had one out for her. "Oh, thanks."

"Of course." Yozora said as Anna took the carrot from him.

"It was like my whole life got upside down." Olaf said to Kristoff before he turned his head back around in time for Anna to slam the carrot all the way through Olaf's head "Wooh!"

"Oh! Too hard." Anna said as she and everyone else cringed. "I'm sorry! I was just..."

"Head rush!" Olaf exclaimed as his eyes came back into focus.

"That looked like it hurt." Eugene said.

"Definitely." Kristoff said.

"He seems fine now though." Yozora said.

"He's actually kinda cute." Friday said.

"Am I the only one weirded out by the living snowman!?" Orion exclaimed.

"Probably. But it's okay, Ryan. Just LET IT GO." Rapunzel said with a giggle at her brother's antics, accidentally breaking the fourth wall for a second time without realizing it, making Orion's brown twitch.

"That's twice this chapter. You do it one more time, you'll regret it. I dare you." Orion said to the Authors with a crazy look.

"Are you okay?" Anna asked Olaf in concern.

"Are you kidding me? I am wonderful! I've always wanted a nose." Olaf gushed joyfully as he tried to grab the little bit of carrot sticking out between his eyes. "So cute. It's like a little baby unicorn."

Anna, cringing at the part sticking out of the back of his head, pushed forward the carrot sticking out the back of Olaf's head.

"What? Hey! Woh!" Olaf exhaled as he saw his now big carrot nose sticking out from between his eyes. Oh, I love it even more! Hah."

That earned a giggle from Anna and Rapunzel.

"Alright, let's start this thing over. Hi everyone. I'm Olaf. And I like warm hugs." Olaf introduced himself to Anna and opened his arms for a hug.

"Olaf?" Anna muttered before suddenly realizing he was the snowman from her and Elsa's childhood. "That's right, Olaf!"

"Wai-woah wait hold up! You're telling me you've met him before?! And he looks like he was just born yesterday!" Eugene asked in shock.

Olaf gasped. "How does he know today's my birthday?" He whispered.

"Olaf was a Snowman Elsa and I would build all the time when we were kids." Anna said, feeling melancholy from the memory.

"Awww! Elsa must've been thinking of Olaf when remembering happier times and her ice powers must've brought him to life." Rapunzel said with a big smile. "And he's just so adorable."

"No. Babies and puppies are adorable. Mostly chihuahuas. And so are bikinis but that thing." Orion dejected.

'That thing is a cute faced product ready to drain your wallets.' PRO deadpanned a fourth wall statement in agreement.

'Beware of the Amazon!' TEC exclaimed a reference to Amazon.

"And you all are?" Olaf asked with his smile still there.

"Oh. Um, I'm Anna. And this is my cousin. Rapunzel." Anna started the introduction.

"Wow. That's a lot of hair, you should keep all of that moisturized. Otherwise your dandruff will outnumber the snow." Olaf chatted about how huge Rapunzel's hair was, and then gasped as he covered his mouth. "I am so sorry. That was negative and offensively derogatory. That's a word right?"

"Kay, now I like him." Orion stifled a laugh at the dandruff part.

"It's okay, Olaf. I'm not offended." Rapunzel said with a giggle. "Actually, my hair can sometimes be quite a hassle to work with. Good thing my hair is magical."

"Oooh just like the friend I made this morning." Olaf said in fascination.

"Uuuh friend?" Anna inquired.

"Oh I met her this morning. A real burner with the red outfit. She's busy right now handling some personal matters behind a tree.

"Where is this friend now?" Rapunzel asked.

*ARF! ARF!*

"Oh here she comes now!" Olaf pointed.

"Damn it might have rabies." Orion deadpanned as he shifted into Maverick.

"Heeey! Her suit looks just like that shell you're wearing!" Olaf gushed in excitement.

"Who's..." Maverick slowly turned as his eyes widened as he saw her coming...in all fours.

And his suit's Playlist automatically played a song courtesy of PRO and TEC's feelings of this moment that's happening.

As the music's Melody played. A red skinned young female chihuahua in a cosplay Maverick costume. Complete with the pup shoes and Maverick themed sunglasses. She was running in slow motion as Maverick starred in adornment.

While Rapunzel and Anna gasped in awe and joy. While Eugene and Kristoff were looking weirded out.

"Look at you! This little demon is coming with us!" Maverick exhaled in joy in total thrill as the Chihuahua was licking his masked face rapidly.

"Oh my God! That's the most adorable thing I've ever seen!" Rapunzel gushed at the sight while reaching over to pet the Chihuahua's head.

"I know, right!? Where did this adorable baby come from!?" Anna cooed as she gave the little dog attention too.

"Ah, da, da, da, da ,da ,da, da! You ladies got Carrot Top over there. Jennifer Lopaws, AKA Puprick is coming with me." Maverick declared with humor as he held the dog away.

"Aww, come on! That's not fair." Rapunzel pouted while trying to hide a smirk.

"And who did she run to first?" Maverick said smugly before Jennifer Lopaws reached over and struggled to go over to Rapunzel. "Alright, fine. But be careful where you put your hands."

"Don't worry. I know how to handle little cuties like this." Rapunzel chirped as she took Jennifer Lopaws into her arms before the Chihuahua started licking her face. "Hahaha! Aren't you an affectionate little pup."

"That's cause she's turned on. I scanned her. She's ninety present g-spot all over. She'll let you know it." Maverick winked in his eye mask.

"Oh lala." Friday whispered in awe. Her bi-side found that adorable for some reason.

"Yeah sure. Like I'm gonna buy that." Rapunzel smirked with an eye roll at her brother's antics.

"I'm serious, Zel. You let this one in your arms too long, you're forever her dominatrix." Maverick warned humorously as he shifted back into Orion.

"If that's true I'm letting her sleep next to me tonight." Friday said with a sultry tone.

"That's both weird and hot for all the 'right' wrong reasons." Domino remarked.

"I am surrounded by nutcrackers." Kristoff rubbed his temples.

"Buddy, this is just the tip of the iceberg in your journey on the glacier of life." Eugene quipped.

"My siblings are such perverts. I swear." Rapunzel exhaled in fond exasperation.

"Anyway getting back to introductions to stay true to the source material, before the song for the Christmas album. This is my wife, Friday. And that's my best bud, Yozora. The anime poster boy for my team, the Guardians of the Unknown. And the little insurance agent on Zel's shoulder is Pascal, without-A-Pedro. And over there are our loyal heffas, Max and Fidella." Orion helped with the introductions. "Oh and that's Domino, the Jennet Jackson of a new recruit."

"Interesting..." Olaf nodded with a smile and looked over at Kristoff and Sven before he leaned over to ask Anna. "And who's the funky looking donkey over there?"

"That's Sven." Anna answered.

"Uh huh. And who's the reindeer?" Olaf asked as he leaned over again.

"Pfft!" Eugene stifled a laugh realizing the first question while Kristoff had a deadpanned look.

"That's...Sven." Anna awkwardly answered.

"Oh they're-" Olaf almost asked.

"Yeah. Just go with it." Orion said as he wanted to speed things up. Not bothering to explain that part.

"Oh okay, that makes things a little easier for me." Olaf optimistically assumed Kristoff and Sven had the same name.

As Sven leaned over to bite Olaf's carrot nose but the snowman pulled back with a short laugh.

"Ha! Look at him trying to kiss my nose." Olaf mused with a babyish voice. "I like you, too."

"No deviantart ideas please!" Orion warned the Readers.

"Olaf, did Elsa build you?" Anna asked Olaf.

"Yeah. Why?" Olaf asked as Kristoff took one of Olaf's stick arms off, looking at it in curiosity.

"Fascinating." Kristoff said as he examined Olaf's arm.

"Yeah, that's one way to put it." Eugene said.

"Do you know where she is?" Rapunzel asked.

"Yeah. Why?" Olaf asked as he seemed to not notice missing an arm.

"Do you think you could show us the way?" Friday asked patiently.

"Yeah. Why?" Olaf asked as Kristoff bent Olaf's arm.

"How does this work?" Kristoff muttered before Olaf's dismembered arm suddenly slapped Kristoff across the face "Ow!"

"Yeah, I saw that coming." Orion said.

"Next time, look. But don't touch buddy." Eugene said as Olaf took his arm back.

"Stop it, Sven! Trying to focus here." Olaf said to Kristoff as he put his arm back in place and turned back to Anna "Yeah, Why?"

"I'll tell you why. We need Elsa to bring back summer." Kristoff said to the snowman.

"Summer?" Olaf asked in wonder.

"Mm-hmm." Anna nodded.

"Yep." Rapunzel said.

"Oh, I don't know why but I've always loved the idea of summer, and sun, and all things hot...!" Olaf said enthusiastically.

"Really? I'm guessing you don't have much experience with heat." Kristoff said as he kneeled next to Olaf with a smirk.

"Nope!" Olaf simply said.

"Your little ones will be occupied for now, folks. Go ahead and go pee." Orion said to the Readers as if they were watching the Frozen movie.

"But sometimes I like to close my eyes and imagine what it'd be like when summer does come." Olaf smiled cheerfully as he started daydreaming. He walked through a pure sunny day at a grassy meadow with the sun shining behind him. and the magic of Fantasia took over.

"Bees'll buzz~ Kids'll blow dandelion fuzz~ And I'll be doing whatever snow does~ In summeeeeer~" Olaf sang as he danced with a casual ballet and a bit of a kick as he waved a dandelion in his hand, slowly across the grass, then he was leaning at the beach on a blanket and under an umbrella with cold beverage in his hand "A drink, in my hand~ My snow up against the burning sand~ Prob'ly getting gorgeously tanned~ In summeeeer~" Olaf sang as he took a tan reflector and some shades over his eyes.

As Maverick was sailing over the ocean. He saw Olaf tanning in his fantasy world. On a bed of hot burning sand. Even though he's made of snow.

"What?! This fantasy is batshit crazy enough for me!" Maverick echoed over at the Readers.

Then Olaf sailed in a boat while leaning back as he sang, "I'll finally see a summer breeze~ Blow away a winter storm~" Olaf sang before he swan dived into the water, causing all pieces of himself to separate. "And find out what happens to solid water~ When it gets waaaarm~"

"I'd tell him, but consideration forbids." Maverick said while sitting with his legs crossed on the boat.

Then Olaf leaped across a sandy beach with sand/snowmen. One of them was a woman having her beach drape pulled by a seagull. As Plaf danced passed them to the beat of the song. "And I can't~ wait to see~ What my buddies all think of me!~ Just imagine how much cooler I'll be... In summeeeeeeer!~" Olaf sang as he was under a beach bogota with some with a cane, tap dancing with a seagull who also had a hat and cane. "Da da!~ Da doo~ A bah bah ba baba boo~"

"Testify!" Maverick tossed cash at Olaf from the audience tables. As a crowd of Mavericks were clapping and whistling for him.

"Thank you." Olaf tipped his hat to them as he held it out to collect the cash.

Then Olaf was with another snowman that was just a head, and held a cup of hot chocolate with marshmallows and a smiley face. While in a large jacuzzi...Just go with it people.

"The hot and the cold are both so intense~ Put 'em together, it just makes sense!~" Olaf sang as he clinked his cup as a toast to the friend in the tub with him.

"Actually it makes no damn sense but that's why the song works." Orion said while shirtless in the Jacuzzi wearing red swim trunks. While Friday was in a white bikini in his arms.

Then the Fantasy went back to Olaf tap dancing with four more tapping seagulls. Swinging like the Dick Van Dyke he was being. "Rat dadat dadat dadat dadadadadoooooo!~"

"While he's being Dick Van Dyke. Let me try to be a dick." Maverick mused as he stood on a grassy field in the fantasy and melted a bucket of ice and splashed it on the grassy ground to make a puddle.

Then Olaf bounced and leaped across the grassy hill. "Winter's a good time to stay in and cuddle!~ But put me in summer and I'll be a..." Olaf stopped at the puddle, looked down at it for a short moment, before hopping over it, as the word 'puddle' went over his head. "HAPPY SNOWMAN!~"

"Oh blame a guy for trying!" Maverick echoed from behind.

Then Olaf ran across the grass with a checkered blanket that he spread out to feel the warm wind, and then he laid back against the blanket and stared up at the blue sky. "When life gets rough I like to hold on to my dream~ Of relaxing in the summer sun just lettin' off steaaaam~" Olaf sang with a sigh as he let steam out of his snowy body (you read that right). Then the talking snowman reached up to the sky longingly, "Oh the sky~ Will be blue~"

Then the group were all sitting in confusion at a picnic with sandwiches in their hands. While Orion was the only one eating his sandwich. And Jennifer Lopaws was eating some tacos in a doggy dish

"And you guys'll be there tooooo~" Olaf sang.

"Can one of you pass the spicy mustard and Absinthe?" Orion asked his friends in the picnic casually, while eating. "And my half a bottle of Quaaludes."

Then Olaf happily got up and sang, as the fantasy faded. "When I finally do what frozen things do~ In summeeeer!~" Olaf aang expertly.

Everyone just couldn't help but smile as the song looked to be concluding.

"We're gonna tell him," Kristoff smirked.

"Yep." Eugene agreed with a smirk.

"Don't you dare." Anna and Rapunzel warned them simultaneously with a glare.

Then Plaf finished with an overture of giant fiery words right behind him that reads *'IN SUMMER!'*

Caused by Orion.

"IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNNNNN SSSSSUUUUUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRR!~" Olaf sang the ending overture.

Just then. Hawkeye and Wolverine came back down and they just stood there confused. As everyone else noticed.

"Uh...What did we miss?" Hawkeye inquired.

"I don't wanna know." Wolverine waved the song off.

"Long story short. The prophecy is true. now I'm waiting for talking fire to have their chance. And not in that Pixar kind of way." Orion explained with a Fourth Wall reference to a title with 'elements'.

"Apparently, Elsa's ice magic is so powerful, it brought a snowman from our childhood to life." Anna said with a big smile. "And apparently he wants to see what summer's like."

"He also showed up with this little Chihuahua that's cosplaying as my brother." Rapunzel said, mentioning the Chihuahua in her arms. "Isn't she just so adorable?"

"Actually..." Wolverine hesitated to say.

"That's not a dog. Especially one from Comic Con. That's one of Sinister's clones." Hawkeye informed them.

"Say whaaaaaaaaaaa?!" Orion replied with a high pitched street tone. Then asked normally "Let me guess. Old Stormur files?"

"Well if he's not biting anyone's throat out. They must've done it wrong. But worse." Wolverine scoffed as they noticed Jennifer Lopaws was just panting in Rapunzel's arms still and snuggled against her.

So the dog is a clone. What are the odds?

"Oh come on. There's no way something this adorable could be made by someone so evil." Rapunzel said with a giggle at the end as Jennifer Lopaws licked her face again.

"Blondie, I'm sure something like that's been done before." Eugene said before something came to him. "So wait. If this pooch was made using Forge here as a genetic source, does that mean she also has some of his abilities too?"

"Maybe. If she came out of Mav's blood. It's very possible so watch where you point his eyes. We don't want another 'first meeting with Bolt' Incident." Yozora answered.

"But at the same time, who cares? Sinister clearly isn't a responsible pet owner so he's not getting this Unicorn back." Orion protested as he stroked behind the dog's neck making him hum.

"By the way. Who are these two colorful looking knights?" Olaf asked optimistically about Wolverine and Hawkeye.

"Hey watch it! Archers aren't as generic as knights." Hawkeye retorted with a minor one liner.

Yozora was going to say something again. But Orion beat him to it.

"That's Hawkeye. Secret agent and sharp shooter." Yozora answered the snow man with a casual cool demeanor.

"His main superpower however is getting free guac at Chipotle." Orion quipped a fourth wall reference.

"And that's Logan, but we call him Wolverine. A mutant like Orion but more vicious and with metal claws. And...metal bones." Yozora added the introduction for the other hero.

"He's usually shirtless but he's let himself go since the divorce." Orion wittly answered with a fourth wall statement about Logan's actor.

"Fascinating." Olaf whispered in awe.

"Are you done?" Wolverine inquired at Orion.

"Nope but let's go anyway." Orion answered smugly.

"Whatever. We found the main base. It's straight ahead." Wolverine pointed up at the ridge up past the frozen waterfall.

"Perfect! Let's go handle some personal business I missed out on and then! LET'S BRING BACK SUMMER!" Olaf cheered as he ran ahead.

"Hey hey! Children at the back, we take point! Orion ran ahead. As the other guardians and super heroes ran ahead.

While Yozora stood with Rapunzel. Anna. Eugene and Kristoff.

"you know whenever Mav's on a roll with his lips. I hardly ever get a word out." Yozora remarked.

"Eh, you get used to it." Rapunzel said with a shrug. "Besides, it just makes what you do say that much more impactful."

"Also Barton's wrong. Archers can be knights on the same level." Domino added a true fact. Before she ran off to join the others.

"I knew it!" Anna exclaimed to herself as she and Rapunzel ran off to join the others. Along with Max and Fidella.

But Kristoff and Eugene stayed behind for a little bit. Still thinking about what the Snowman believes. In regards to summer and heat.

"Someone's gotta tell him." Kristoff pointed out as if he wasn't listened to.

"Don't worry. I think he'll get the message if he gets too close to Orion when he goes all inferno... Probably." Eugene said with a shrug.

Kristoff sighed as he. Sven and Eugene ran ahead to go join the others.

Meanwhile at the Ice Palace...

Cassandra spent the entire day helping Elsa hone in on her powers. And learn to focus on what she wants them to do. Every now and then they would take breaks to eat or chat or exchange stories. Mostly about Cassandra's adventures or some childhood memories of Elsa.

They were currently at the main upper sanctum or the Heart of the palace as it was called. Cassandra had some black rock pillars with targets painted on them for decoys. Mostly just a glow in the shape of round targets.

Elsa was practicing her aim. As she got better as the hours passed by. And this time. She threw shot after shot. And hit all the center targets.

"There you go. You're a natural, Snowflake." Cassandra smiled as she patted her back in encouragement.

Snowflake was the nickname Cassandra came up for Elsa.

"Thanks, Moonbeam. I couldn't have made it this far without you." Elsa said with her own smile.

Moonbeam was Elsa's own nickname for Cassandra.

"This next test is a small one. But you gotta be mentally prepared for it. Don't worry it won't be too hard." Cassandra told her as she formed an armchair made of rocks for herself.

"Okay. I'm ready." Elsa said before creating a table and chair from her ice powers and sitting down in front of Cassandra.

"Now I noticed that when we usually touch hands. It's usually when I have my gloves on. But my gloves are just a style and a safety measure for combat." Cassandra explained this next part as she took her suit's gloves off. Then she placed her right hand on the table. "Take my hand."

"Are... Are you sure that's a good idea?" Elsa asked nervously. "What if I start freezing you by accident?"

"Do you want to freeze me on purpose?" Cassandra asked with an encouraging smile.

"No. Never." Elsa said with a firm voice.

"Then it won't happen. Just don't expect it to happen. Take it from a keyblade master. We have more control over magic than we have over our own eyes and limbs. At least that's what Yid Sen told me." Cassandra shared some insight. "Just focus on me. And what you want."

Elsa nodded as she took in Cassandra's words. And then she slowly reached over slowly to Cassandra's hand. When she got close. She retracted a little.

"It's okay..." Cassandra whispered.

Elsa looked scared but then took a deep breath. And she placed her hand over Cassandra's. And held it softly but with a small grip. Elsa exhaled as she felt Cassandra's hand. It's been a long time before she ever had physical contact like this.

"You know. This was the hand that got damaged during me and Raps' incident with the great tree..." Cassandra pointed out softly. "And the one that got retracted and fixed. I gotta say. This feels a lot warmer than the suit I'm wearing."

Elsa's eyes widened and got misty.

"Really?" Elsa choked out. "N-no one's ever said that about me before."

"Being called warm?" Cassandra asked.

"Y-Yeah." Elsa stammered out while looking down nervously.

"Well believe me. I'm more cold and dangerous than you'll ever be." Cassandra remarked. And corrected herself. "Sorry, that was meant to be a joke. It came out wrong."

"No it's okay. I understand what you're trying to say." Elsa said with a small smile. "Thank you. I think you're very warm too."

Before Cassandra could respond. She furrowed her eyebrows as she could magically sense some people outside. And he looked over at the balcony doors.

"Cass, what's wrong?" Elsa asked while looking concerned.

"There's someone outside." Cassandra answered with an alert tone as she stood up and quickly put her gloves on.

"Who is it?" Elsa asked as she stood up as well. "Is it your team?"

"No...Go and hide." Cassandra told her with a serious tone as she shifted her Paragon helmet on and pulled her hood up.

Elsa gave a silent nod before running behind the door, a scared look on her face, worried for Cassandra and what she might be facing any second now.

Just then. As things were quiet. The double doors to the balcony burst open from someone's strong fist. And that someone was Philippa Sontag. AKA Arclight.

*BURST!*

A dark haired slightly tanned skin woman in a metallic purple combat suit with arm braces and her shoulders exposed. Walked in with a saunter as she looked around.

"Sorry for the door, Little Lady. Everything does that when I knock." Archlight mused mischievously.

"Funny. I was gonna say the same thing happens when I make someone swallow their teeth." Paragon said with a vicious tone.

"Mmmm. Tough ones are my game. The name's Arclight. I'm here on behalf of my boss, Nathaniel Essex. But you all call him Sinister. He wants to see the lady of the house." Arclight declared as she popped her own knuckles.

"Over my dead body, you psychotic bitch." Paragon snarled as she summoned her keyblade.

"That's the idea, Sweetie. Thanks for reminding me." Arclight smirked as she jumped in the air and slammed her fist into the ground. Causing a purple shock wave that knocked Paragon a few feet. Back.

But she recovered and zoomed over to deliver a hard slash to Arclight who blocked Paragon's keyblade with her arm braces. Paragon slashed a few times as Arclight kept blocking.

But Archlight went in for several hard EMP Punches. But Paragon blocked them with her keyblade and a rock shield she quickly conjured up on her forearm.

Elsa could only watch from her hiding spot as Paragon pushed Arclight back and delivered a Thundaga Spell that struck on top of Archlight who only laughed.

"Ahahahahaha! Thanks for the drink." Archlight smirked as she roundhouse kicked Paragon in the face and made her grunt as Paragon landed on her face.

Archlight then picked up a large sharp ice sickle in her hand. And just as Paragon was getting back up. Archlight slammed the Ice Sickle in Paragon's left shoulder.

"GAAH!" Paragon shouted in pain.

And Elsa gasped in horror seeing the pain her friend was facing.

"Cheap shot, Asshole!" Paragon snarled as she turned and held her hands up. Causing waves of rocks to slam into Arclight.

The rocks were large builders that were coming out of the hole of the balcony Arclight made. But Arclight held her hands out to block the large boulders with her shock waves. But Elsa quickly held her hands out and froze Archlight from behind.

"Augh! What the-" Arclight almost screamed before the rocks slammed her through several walls. And out of the mountain.

Thus ending the fight. As Paragon was on one knee. And she took her helmet off. And grimaced as she tried to yank out the ice sickle that's impaled into the back of her shoulder.

"Cass!" Elsa cried out as she ran over to check on her. "Oh my God! Your shoulder!"

"Mmmgh...I'm fine, Els. I just..." Cassandra groaned as she hissed in pain.

"Don't argue with me. You're not fine." Elsa said sternly as she helped Cassandra to start walking. "Come on, we'll go to my room to patch you up."

Cassandra leaned on Elsa as she carried her with one arm over her shoulder. And the Snow Queen led her into the master bedroom.

There. Elsa sat her down on the bed while Cassandra took off the upper half of her Paragon attire. And she was now wearing the black tank top underneath.

On a normal occasion Elsa would be blushing to see Cassandra's figure under the suit. But the Snow Queen was too focused on taking care of Cassandra's wound.

Then Cassandra took out a first-aid kit. A Xandarian brand.

Some of the health tech Elsa wasn't familiar with. But she relied on Cassandra to help guide her in how to use them.

"This is a mild nerve sedative. Placed the needle in my upper arm. And press the red button." Cassandra guided her with the first piece which was an injector.

"Okay." Elsa said with a mildly nervous tone as she took the injector and lined it with Cassandra's arm. "Just….hold still."

Cassandra winced as she felt her entire upper shoulder go numb. Then she took out a skin-fill spray that uses special nano-tech to reconnect the skin around any fatal nerve endings.

"Alright. Can make the ice sickle melt?" Cassandra asked.

"Yes." Elsa nodded anxiously.

"Alright. Melt it off and spray this stuff around the open wound." Cassandra handed her the skin-fill spray.

"Okay. This is gonna sting. So just breathe." Elsa said before she melted the ice sickle away before quickly using the spray on the wound.

Cassandra however took a deep breath as she grit her teeth a little. And then Elsa completely melted the ice sickle off. And she sprayed the skin-fill around the open wound to cauterize it with nanotech. Once that was done. Cassandra handed Elsa some skin motion to sooth her pain and some gauze.

As Elsa applied the lotion. Cassandra sighed in relief as most of the pain was leaving. Especially since she took a painkiller with a glass of ice water.

"I'm sorry, Elsa. I had a feeling they would try a move like this. I should've known it would be sooner." Cassandra said calmly.

"Hey. Don't blame yourself. It's not your fault." Elsa said as she started to wrap the gauze around her wound. "Some things are just beyond our control."

"And some things are always in our hands." Cassandra said quietly. Before she sighed. "I'll be honest. If we had all met way before. If you and Anna were there on the journey. Before I got to the Moonstone. I probably wouldn't have betrayed Rapunzel. Or used my powers to take advantage of my friends."

"Hey. You made mistakes. But you learned from them and came out a better person." Elsa said back. "And honestly, I don't think I could ever see you as anything other than the amazing woman you are now."

"Elsa. Honestly a mistake is when someone messes up your order at a restaurant. Or telling a lady when's the baby coming and then you find out she's just fat...Damn it I'm sounding like Mav right now." Cassandra scoffed a little as she pinched the bridge of her nose briefly and looked at Elsa. "Bottom line. I helped the Syndicate get back together. If they hadn't taken a portion of my power...Sure me and Rapunzel destroyed it. But that only influenced and motivated these assholes to get back together and try harder...I can't help but feel like if it wasn't for me. The Syndicate wouldn't have gone after you. And that you never would've run away. Orion and the others would've helped you if not for them."

Elsa understood Cassandra's guilt. But she placed a hand on her other shoulder and gazed at her warmly.

"No, Cass. This was going to happen no matter what. And evil does what it wants no matter what. Your decisions were not responsible for what happened to me." Elsa said passionately. "If anything. You've given me hope. Hope that I have not felt in so many years. If not for you, I would be here, all alone, sinking into despair. You've done more good for me than I could ever pay back in a lifetime."

Cassandra knew she was telling the truth. But the guilt was eating at her. And only the Snow Queen could help her.

"If you had seen what I was like. A month and a half ago. You wouldn't be saying that. I had hateful intentions to hurt people just to get even. The fairy thing that you're afraid of doing with your powers, I wanted to do so badly. Only to find out that I was wrong. And I was doing it for the wrong reasons. How could I possibly forgive myself for all of this?" Cassandra said with a troubled look that was similar to when she apologized to Rapunzel.

"By reminding yourself that you're not that person anymore and never want to be. That you're doing your best to do everything you can to make amends for your past actions." Elsa said as she finished wrapping her wound. "And your best is all anyone can ask for."

Would Elsa be saying that if she knew that Cassandra was keeping a secret? About Arendelle being frozen? Cassandra's working on a way to tell her. And she feels that it will be easier once the team arrives.

"You know. If we had met, during my Lady-In-Waiting days. I think I would have been jealous of you." Cassandra softly remarked.

"Jealous of me?" Elsa asked in surprise as she took a seat next to Cassandra on the bed. "Why?"

"Because...Well. For years I wanted people to respect me. I wanted to prove that I was some staff member at a castle. But you. You practically have everything I ever wanted. Respect. Real power, and a crown to go with it." Cassandra explained. "Whether you realize it or not, a woman of your reputation... You haven't reached the tip of the iceberg of what all you could really do. And there was a time I'd give anything to be in your position."

It's not a crown that Cassandra wanted. She just didn't want people to think less of her. When she can do so much more.

"I know how you feel. I was a bit jealous of you too, because you have your powers and aren't afraid to be around the ones you love because of it." Elsa said with a sad smile. "I wish I could have that with Anna again."

"I think you can. If it's all about learning how to control your ice thing. You're practically already there. This palace we're sitting in is proof." Cassandra encouraged her.

But I can't go back. I can't take the chance of hurting Anna again." Elsa said as she wrapped her arms around herself as her eyes became misty. "I may learn to control my powers and be who I'm meant to be. But I can no longer go back home, or to Anna. Especially with the way things have ended.

Cassandra paused for a second. Before she came up with the right worlds.

"That's not what I'm saying. I'm not saying for you to go back. But to consider moving on. Make amends with yourself. You don't have to go back into hiding or limiting yourself. Or living in fear." Cassandra clarified with motivating words.

Elsa thought about what she was saying. For the first time she felt free. The Young Queen's mind was made up. But if Cassandra's asking her to take it further and see where it goes. Perhaps she can do that.

"Do you really think I can do that?" Elsa asked with a small voice.

Cassandra and Elsa slowly held hands. And their eyes meet.

"You can do anything. You're capable of everything. don't let the last thirteen years of your life tell you otherwise." Cassandra affirmed.

"You... You're right. I feel like I can." Elsa said before a blush came to her cheeks. "Especially with you at my side."

"Trust me. I'm not going anywhere. I'm where I'm supposed to be." Cassandra softly said.

Some may interpret it as her situation and status as a Keyblade Master. But it can also be this moment with Elsa.

"I'm so happy to hear you say that." Elsa said as she slowly leaned in until, after a slight moment of hesitation, their lips met in a kiss.

And Cassandra kissed her back. As Elsa wrapped her arms around Cassandra. Feeling Cassandra's soft warm skin. And her warm tender lips against Elsa's own cool lips.

Both of them. A Queen and a Warrior in love. Who couldn't resist the moment. The moment of passion. Weakness and confession.

Yesterday Cassandra would've knocked herself in the head for getting this close and personal. But Today's Cassandra would tell Yesterday's Cassandra to go screw herself. She's not missing this chance.

For the first time in forever. They both have found love. True love.

Meanwhile down at Sinister's Main Base...

The Guardians along with Wolverine and Hawkeye were on top of a snowy ridge looking down at the main base. This one looked about the same as the last one. But with over a dozen more tents surrounding a mobile lab that only had one floor. But it spanned across the middle of the base. Surrounded by tents.

The gate surrounding the base was a laser grid. A wall completely made of a red energy field surrounding the base. And Marauder Troops marching around in groups.

"This one's gonna be much harder than the last one." Hawkeye said as they all stood together on the ridge while knelt down to avoid being spotted.

"Yeah, well twice the security. Twice the pain." Wolverine sneered as he extended the claws on one hand.

"Cool your furry pits, Barnum. That entire base is more prepared than the last one." Maverick replied.

"He's right. Both Mav and I ran a scan. The base is linked to a preprogrammed lock down grid connected to the dark portal it came from. If we trigger the alarm. It will automatically trigger the portal to send the entire base to a new location. Maybe somewhere much further from Elsa's location." Verum Rex explained.

"We cannot afford to let that happen." Anna said with urgency. "What do we do?"

"I think our best move is to move quickly, but quietly. And avoid being detected at all costs." Rapunzel said.

"We already have a pattern. There are three guards that carry the keys to the main security console. Three of us will have to take the keys at the same time. Giving Mav just a short window to use them, unlock the console and shut down the grid." Verum Rex told them the plan.

"That's when we strike." Shift confirmed.

"Also Hawkeye, once we disable the outer wall. Take aim and fire at the sub generator behind the south wall. It'll buy Mav time to shut the grid down." Verum Rex told Hawkeye.

"You're the hail mary pass, Turok." Maverick added with a quip.

"Don't need a hail Mary." Hawkeye said as he twirled an arrow. "I never miss."

Maverick looked at the Readers "Who doesn't want to see him duel with Bullseye?" He said to them.

"I'll take key number one." Domino volunteered.

"Number two." Wolverine added.

"Oh oh oh! I got number three." Anna raised her hand up.

"You?" Kristoff asked.

"Of course. I'll have you know as a little girl, I used to pick-pocket the keys to the chocolate cabinet after midnight." Anna said smugly. "So I think I can handle these idiots just fine."

"How do you even still have a pear shaped figure?" Eugene inquired before Rapunzel smacked his arm. "Ow!"

It kind of makes you wonder though. Chocolate turns to bubbly fat.

"Not in this era. Cane sugar was unrefined back then." Maverick whispered to the Author.

Oh. Never mind.

"Alright then. But I'm knocking him out after you make the lift." Kristoff insisted.

"Fine by me. Just don't slow me down, Kristoff." Anna said with a smirk.

"You sure they're not the ones' engaged?" Hawkeye whispered to Eugene as he raised an eyebrow at them.

"I know what you mean. They're so oblivious about it, though, it's just so painful." Eugene whispered back jokingly.

"Alright. On my mark...go." Verum Rex signaled from Wolverine. Domino. Anna and Kristoff to head down.

They all snuck down the ridge and thanks to the snow. It was easy to find cover. The first guard was patrolling up at a guard tower. Domino climbed with ease. Relying on her luck to not get spotted.

Wolverine snuck under the snow bushes towards the second guard who was guarding the side entrance. And he extended his claws. Ready to strike. Like a predator eyeing his prey.

Anna and Kristoff snuck over to the guard who was standing way out by the south east corner. Which was easy since he was the closest to the bottom of the hill the rest of the team were hiding. Waiting to strike.

Once Anna and Kristoff were close. The earpieces in Anna and Kristoff's ear buzzed a bit making them wince.

*"Is everyone in position?"* Verum Rex called.

*"I'm ready."* Domino answered quietly.

*"Just tell me when to start cutting."* Wolverine whispered with a feral tone.

"We're all set on our end." Kristoff whispered back.

"Oooh, I love these earpieces. They're so cool and convenient." Anna whispered excitedly.

*"Focus, Candy Girl. We're on the clock. Alright. Take your guard's key. At the same time. In three...two...one."* Maverick announced.

And on that note. Domino swiped the first guard's key and then snapped his neck expertly. Wolverine swiped the second guard's key before he thrusted his claws into the guard's head. While Anna quickly swiped the key from the third guard, before Kristoff knocked the guard out with a swift punch. Anna was impressed by how strong he was.

"Got the key." Domino said.

"Ditto." Wolverine replied.

"Ours too." Kristoff added.

Then Maverick quickly teleported rapidly as he retrieved all three keys and went over to the security console. Then he slid over to the guard posted over by the console near the lab. And knocked him out with a silent air kick. Before Maverick stood up and used all three keys to quickly access the console. He hacked the first gate. Exposing the sub generators.

Hawkeye saw his que as he aimed an EMP Arrow towards the main cables and took his shot. The arrow hit the cables. And short circuited the generator silently.

Maverick had just five more minutes to access the grid. He used his tech skills to bypass the fire wall. Reset to default admin. And then he typed in a new password to access the grid.

"Switching off...Now." Maverick whispered.

And suddenly the grid shut down as the entire base lost power. And so did the gate. And the portal linked to the base shut down as well.

"It's lights out, folks! Let's party!" Maverick called out as the sound of bullets could be heard.

*Gunshots!*

"I'm starting to think it was invitation only!" Rapunzel exclaimed as the bullets flew.

As Rapunzel and Eugene went down to join the fight. So did Maximus and Fidella while Olaf and Sven stayed up on the hill to optimistically watch. Olaf sat back one the edge while kicking his short stubby feet. Not that he even had knees.

"I love watching professionals at work. Though this show might be a bit too graphic." Olaf optimistically smiled.

While Sven cringed at the sight of Wolverine chopping off limbs in the base down below.

Down below Rapunzel let her hair loose completely waved her hair once again as it was glowing. and lashed a lock over a six guards. Knocking them into a tent and made it collapsed.

While Eugene slashed Excalibur at four guards that came his way with knives and laser swords. Thankfully Rapunzel's hair automatically responded to her need to protect as it blocked all bullets from hitting her or Eugene. Waving over both of them.

As Maverick teleported over to spin his keyblade and cause six troops to fly in the air with each smack. He even air twirled to grab a guard by the neck and spin tossed him into five tents causing them to collapse.

And as he and Rapunzel stood together to take on another set of incoming troops.

*Arf Arf arf!*

They heard Jennifer Lopaws AKA Puprick running over and growling at the troops. But the Troops paused and looked confused before they snickered and laughed a bit.

"Yeah right." One of them muttered before they turned their attention back to Maverick and Rapunzel.

And just before they attacked.

*NEON BLAST.*

Puprick's eyes were glowing in her doggy Maverick mask. And the troops were covered in a field of neon. The same colors as Maverick's neon powers.

"WHAT THE FU-" One of the troops shouted before Puprick shook her head up and caused them to be thrusted high in the sky.

And they all screamed. "AAAAAAhhhhhhhhh!"

They'll probably be back down soon.

Then Puprick sat down and scratched her ear.

Maximus and Fidella dropped their jaws as they saw after rear kicking some troops away.

"Oh shut the ***k up hard! Jenny's got dibs!" Maverick exclaimed in amazement.

"Okay. So Puprick does have some of your powers. Good to know." Rapunzel smiled before leaning down to pet Jennifer Lopaws' head. "Good girl. Do you know any more tricks?"

Puprick panted a bit before she looked forward and sneezed.

*ACHOO!*

*Fire blazing!*

Her sneeze caused a fire to erupt at an armory tent and it blew to bits.

"HEY! WE NEEDED THOSE!" One of the troops yelled before Maverick shot a neon beam at the troop to shut him up.

"Aww, good girl! Talk about a hot dog." Rapunzel gushed with a giggle. "I think it's safe to say Jennifer Lopaws has all your powers, bro. Probably your healing factor too."

"Oh she does look at the graze on her right leg." Maverick pointed at the bullet hole that closed up on its own.

Which impressed them both.

Just then. Hawkeye shot a zip line arrow near them. And he rode down on it with a cable attached to his back as he spun around fast and shot several arrows across the base. An explosive arrow blew up a gas tank.

*BOOOM!*

A Pym Arrow shrunk down five troops once it hit the ground.

*SHRINK!*

An acid arrow melted a crane cable to drop on top of six troops.

*COLLAPSED!*

And then Hawkeye landed in front of Maverick and Rapunzel while Eugene came cover from behind after finishing some troops.

"He's the main reason the Author started watching the Mission Impossible films. True story." Maverick whispered to the Readers.

"Wooah! That was amazing Hawkeye! You really didn't miss a single shot!" Rapunzel said, completely impressed. "How did you do all that?!"

"Well I came, I aim and just do for the hell of it. Also my doctor at Pearle Visions still thinks I'm a mutant." Hawkeye remarked with a shrug.

"And yet you're just a regular human with insane skill." Rapunzel said.

"Regular? Pfft." Hawkeye scoffed as he looked over at the containment center tent. "Also I released a little insurance they had locked up in that tent. You may wanna stand back."

"Why? Who did you just let loose?" Rapunzel asked while still doing what she was told.

"RUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!"

A loud monstrous roar was heard. As the green muscular monster of destruction himself bursts out of the tent as it explodes.

And then the monster landed in front of Hawkeye with a glare and a groan while facing the main lab.

It was the Incredible Hulk! Sinister had him locked up for his experiments but Hawkeye just freed him.

"Holy Jolly Green." Eugene muttered in shock.

"It's the Incredible Hulk!" Rapunzel gasped in excitement.

Hulk turned to the Princess.

"Blonde girl like Hulk?" Hulk inquired.

He's usually used to citizens being scared of him when he's in his green form.

"Of course! You're one of The Avengers' strongest heroes." Rapunzel said with a big smile.

"Hmm..." Hulk grunted with a small smile under his furrowed brows. He likes being appreciated.

On one end of the base Verum Rex was shooting his laser pistols and slashing his keyblade at the troops with great skill and agility.

Nearby. Shift was sprinting as she charged with lighting while slashing at some troops left and right.

On the other end of the base. Wolverine had just finished slashing and chopping down three troops. As his clothes tore. Then he ripped his shirt off to reveal the yellow spandex X-Men suit underneath.

Then Wolverine glared directly at Hulk. As Hulk turned and glared at him. And they both growled. Signaling a fight.

"Oh my God oh my God oh my God! Shut the front door, it's happening!" Maverick squealed in excitement as he clapped his hands like a happy teenage girl. Ready to see these two heroes fight.

"What? What's going on?" Rapunzel asked in confusion before realization took hold. "Are you telling me these two are about to fight each other? Right now?"

"Hell yeah, sis! Get your special sock out, Nerds. Cause this Rumble Rose is FINALLY HAPPENING!" Maverick yelled in excitement as he put on some old fashion 3-D glasses.

"RUAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!" Wolverine roared as he extended his claws and charged towards the Hulk.

"RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAUGH!" Hulk roared back as he charged towards Wolverine.

Everyone was about to witness the fight of the cinematic century. The Incredible Hulk vs Wolverine.

"Yes...Yes." Maverick's eyes expanded in excitement as they drew closer.

And just when these two heroes were finally going to clash...They both charged right past each other to fight more Marauder Troops that were both in groups in the opposite directions.

"***K!" Maverick bellowed in frustration and hung his head back as he groaned. "Aaah! Now I hate offscreen truces."

'Hey! What are they doing?!' PRO inquired.

'GET BACK HERE AND KILL EACH OTHER!' TEC exclaimed at Hulk and Wolverine.

"Okay. So that just happened." Rapunzel muttered in shock.

"Thank God. I don't think our world could survive the clash of those two." Eugene sighed in relief.

As the fight resumed. With two furious heroes fighting. The Hulk rammed through multiple troops. While Wolverine ran over the Hulk's back to slash at three more.

Hawkeye resumed fighting as he shot more arrows as Rapunzel was shooting her frying pan pistols at several troops. It's a good thing these troops are synthetic copies of Sinister and not real people. Thus everyone's consciousness was clear.

Mostly the heroes that don't kill. Because let's be honest. These Troops are no more alive than the Outriders or the Chitauri.

Domino was busy shooting at more troops as well. As the group all came together. While Anna and Kristoff found some laser rifles and started shooting.

"Hey look! I figured out how these work!" Anna beamed loudly while shooting.

"That's great, Anna!" Rapunzel called back as she kept shooting. "Just be careful where you aim that!"

Good thing she learns by watching others use them. And of course the bullets inside are laced with neon energy, causing Anna and Kristoff's bullets to hit the right targets. And thanks to a hoaming mod Verum Rex added to their guns.

Double the safety at the hands of rookies.

And finally as the group was together. With Rapunzel blocking the bullets with her hair locks shielding each shock from hitting the team mates that can't heal.

And finally the troops were decreasing in numbers. An enemy came. out of a dark portal. And that Enemy was Mister Sinister. Hovering out of the portal.

Mr. Sinister had a very pale skin, a black goatee, short black hair, red eyes with the whites of his eyes black. His armor was black with a red belt, and an intricate red cape that was several strands of red fabric, like they were designed to lash out at you. And a red gem over his chest.

He held his hands up using his ultra technopathic abilities to raise up metal and large cages out of the tents and connect them together into large cage. And he slammed it on top of the team to trap everyone in a large electric cage. And even he even honed in on Maverick's suit to keep him from teleporting.

"Woah I forgot to renew my subscription!" Maverick cringed as he was slammed down to the ground in front of the group. Even Shift was forced to the ground next to him.

The Hulk was caged into a metallic down that shocked him down. "RAAAAAGH!" Hulk roared as he tried punching but each punch shocked him painfully and kept making him collapse.

Wolverine leaped in the air to take doen Sinister from behind. But Sinister rammed multiple re-bars into Wolverine's body.

"AAAAAAAAAAGH!" Wolverine shouted in pain as Sinister turned his hand and caused the re-bars to bend around Wolverine and slam him down into the ground next to Maverick.

"That's gonna need some equate later." Maverick winced as he was stuck too.

"Let us out of here before I cave in your face!" Rapunzel threatened with an angry tone.

"Zel, his face is already caved. Look at him. He's so white, Xbox Live won't let him play BLACK Ops." Maverick quipped while he was pinned on the ground.

"Jokes. Typical. I would like to thank you all for coming. Especially you, Princess Rapunzel. You'll make my next batch of troops golden." Sinister said to Rapunzel.

"If you think that I'll let you-" Rapunzel almost said with a glare.

"He's so pale, he gets a tan from watching the microwave!" Maverick quipped again.

"Oh come on, Ryan! Let me insult him too!" Rapunzel said with a whine. "I always get interrupted when I try to throw out good insults."

"Sorry. One more. He's so pale white, that Charlie Sheen told him 'The cocaine goes IN YOUR NOSE not all over your face genius!' Okay I'm done." Maverick quipped and promised.

"Okay, does he really think it's a good idea to piss off the villain who has us at his mercy?" Kristoff asked in befuddlement.

"Trust me pal. You get used to it the longer you're around us." Eugene quipped.

"Besides, this is just his way of showing he's not afraid of the bastards we're up against." Rapunzel said.

"My next chapter for the dawn of Mutant Kind, starts with all of you. Mostly the Queen of these Frozen Hills. I would've come and offered my solution to perfection. But as they say. Everyone's afraid of the doctor." Mr Sinister declared as he hovered still in front of them.

"Ugh. I really didn't miss long complicated conversations." Shift groaned on the ground.

"Your solution to perfection is a winter wonderland?" Verum Rex inquired.

"Oh you insult me, Rex. Of course not. It starts with Ultimo." Sinister smirked.

"Well shit." Hawkeye exhaled.

"What? What's Ultimo?" Kristoff asked.

"Copyright infringement made flesh." Maverick answered from the ground.

"Now if you could all sit still for wait for my men to..." Mr Sinister didn't finish his words as he turned to hear noise coming from inside. Sounded like a young girl giving bloodied screams and troops screaming in the background as they're being shredded.

*SLASH! SLASH! SLASH!*

But then after a couple of gunshots. The noise faded from inside the building as Mr Sinister assumed that X-23 inside was pacified.

"Now. As I was saying..." Mr Sinister looked back as he was about resume.

"Que slow mo shot." Maverick broke the fourth wall.

*GLASS BREAKS!*

As Laura Kinney AKA X-23 smashed through the glass window. As she slashed at the back of Mr Sinister's neck. Making his eyes widened.

*SLASH!*

And then Mr Sinister's body fell. With his head fallen off next to him. And Laura landed on one knee. As she growled.

Laura is eighteen years old. Wearing long blue jeans with brown leather western boots. And a black t-shirt with her raven color hair below her shoulders.

With Sinister dead. The cages fell off as everyone was free. Laura ran over to Logan and pulled the re-bars off his chest and limbs and he yelled a bit as it hurt. And she helped him up.

"Are you alright?" Laura asked him.

"I was gonna ask you that. Did they hurt you?" Logan asked out of concern.

"No. But they got Warren." Laura said as she looked away with a seethe.

"Warren?" Rapunzel asked.

"Angel." Shift answered.

"Her boyfriend." Maverick winked.

"Oh no." Rapunzel said before trying to be reassuring. "Don't worry. We'll get him back."

"At least Mr Honest I.D. rests in two pieces, huh?" Eugene joked as he looked over at Mr Sinister's headless body.

"Not really. Check the label." Laura gestured.

Maverick teleported over and read one of his 'personal' labels.

"Dry cleaned only. M 32 - 34." Maverick read.

"The other label, wise ass." Laura deadpanned.

Then Maverick found a clone I.D. on the back of Mr Sinister's neck.

"Agh! It's just another goddamn clone!" Maverick exclaimed in frustration as he tossed the body. "I hate it when he cliffhanged us!"

"So, Mr. Sinister is still out there." Rapunzel said.

"Which means he might be making his move to capture Elsa." Anna gasped in concern.

"Not at the moment. The real Sinister has a convoy arriving 200 miles due east from here." Domino revealed. "I heard it from one of their transmitters."

"Which means Ultimo is on board." Verum Rex figured.

"Okay. Back up. Who, or what is this Ultimo?" Rapunzel asked.

"Well first it was Mandarin's personal robot, but after Stark trashed him, Trask Industries. The ones who built the Sentinels." Hawkeye explained the first part.

"Bolivar Trask tried to use Ultimo's parts and schematics to create a Sentinel that can scan an immediate the power of any Mutant or the other poor superpowered bastards. Me and X-Men trashed the factory five years back before they could bring Ultimo online." Logan explained.

"But if Sinister has those schematics now. He'll finish what they started. And it sounds like he needs Elsa's DNA to finish the project." Shift said in realization.

"Why would Elsa's DNA make a difference?" Eugene asked.

"Fitz, think about it. Elsa is practically Super Saiyan level Highest Grossing Animated film if she can do things like change the weather and create life out of snow. It's not her power Sinister wants. it's the extent of her power." Maverick explained with a fourth wall statement.

"He'd be able to create the ultimate weapon." Rapunzel muttered in horror.

"One that can create even more weapons at will." Anna muttered in horror.

"We better get to Elsa's location. And fast." Verum Rex insisted.

"You all go on ahead. Laura and I better head out and bust up that Convoy." Wolverine said as he puts on his mask.

"HULK SMASH!" Hulk roared as he finally busted out of the metal orb it was trapped in and lets out another raging roar. "RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!"

"You want me to give him a nap?" Shift asked as she shapeshifted into Black Widow briefly.

It could've worked. Hulk has always had a weakness for Natasha.

"Uh uh. He's good this way. He's pissed. And I could use that." Wolverine grinned.

"I'll go with them and make sure the big guy keeps aiming his fists at the Pale Troopers." Hawkeye volunteered to go with Wolverine's group.

This will get messy. For the bad guys. Mostly.

"I'll stay with these Metal Gear Solids and make sure they get the Queen back on time." Domino said as she volunteered to stay with Verum Rex and Maverick's group.

"That's much appreciated." Rapunzel said before addressing Laura. "Hi, Laura. I don't think we had a chance to introduce ourselves. I'm Rapunzel."

Don't worry folks. Laura's not that mean. Not anymore anyway. Especially since Logan gave her a life.

"Laura Kinney. X-23." Laura replied to her introduction. She didn't smile but she didn't look hostile either.

"And I'm her cousin Anna." Anna introduced herself before she said to Wolverine's group. "As soon as the rest of you are done. Meet us down in the Kingdom of Arendelle, it's not far from here."

by that time they would've gotten Elsa and Cassandra back. And they'll come up with the plan of attack against Sinister if needed.

"You got it." Hawkeye nodded as the others agreed.

Wolverine. X-23 and Hawkeye walked over to the last helicopter on base. Which wasn't blown to bits by Shift or Maverick.

"Good thing I saved that one." Maverick remarked.

Uh huh. Sure you did.

Then Hawkeye flew the helicopter with Wolverine and X-23 on board. Hulk ran and jumped high into the air to follow them.

After that the group of Guardians walked out of the base. With complete ruins and all the troops taken down. The real Sinister may not be dead. But this will be a major setback that will delay him from getting his hands on Elsa.

As soon as everyone was a good distance away from the base. Maverick smirked over at Rapunzel as they were walking. As he held up the trigger to some bombs he planned at the base.

"Any votes against the big red button?" Maverick smugly asked.

"Just go for it, Ryan. We all know you're dying to press it." Rapunzel said with a knowing smirk.

"Totally..." Maverick mused as he pushed the red button. And then...

*BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!*

This was a big one. Makes you wonder how big. And if anyone saw that.

Back over in Arendelle...

The entire Kingdom was completely covered in a thick blanket of snow. No one could see the road anymore as the citizens of the town were having trouble trying to keep themselves warm. This entire snowstorm happened in a moment when everyone wasn't prepared. When everyone was stocked for summer instead of winter. In town there were two men arguing by the town square over some firewood they were collecting.

"No, no. You've got the bark facing down. The bark needs to be face up." The first man argued.

"Bark down is drier!" The second man glared back as he flipped the log back over.

"Bark up!" The first guy snapped back as a boy took some wood over to his father.

In town. Prince Hans and two of the castle guards gave out cloaks and blankets to the people

"Cloak? Does anyone need a cloak?" Han called out as he offered one to a woman.

"Arendelle is indebted to you, Your Highness." The woman said gratefully.

"The castle is open! There is soup and hot glogg in the Great Hall!" Hans said out loud to the people, as he kept handing out the stack of cloaks in hand and passed some to one of the guards "Here. Pass these out."

At that moment The Duke the Weselton walked over towards him with his two bodyguards. Ready to protest.

"Prince Hans, are we just expected to sit here and freeze while you give away all of Arendelle's tradable goods?" The Duke asked with disapproval.

Typical that this short pile of prejudiced scum would be more concerned about losing money than people.

"Princess Anna has given her orders." Hans replied.

That's when the Duke cut him off.

"And that's another thing! Has it dawned on you that your princess, the Maverick and those other demonic barbarians may be conspiring with a wicked sorceress to destroy us all?!" Duke protested.

"Do not question the Princess or the royal guests from Corona. They left me in charge, and I will not hesitate to protect Arendelle from treason." Hans firmly warned and pointed at the Duke.

"Tr-tr-treason?!" The Duke looked flabbergasted.

Just then...

*BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!*

There was an explosion in the distance. Way up in the mountains and the people in town saw it and were startled.

"What was that?!"

"I don't know!"

"Are we under attack?!"

It was actually Maverick's bombs that blew up the base. Hans walked over a little to get a closer look and saw that the mushroom cloud came directly near the North Mountain. As he presumably was worried about Anna. He turned to the crowd and guards.

"Princess Anna and the Guardians are in trouble! I need volunteers to go with me to find them!" Hans called out to them.

Some of the men in the crowd stepped forward to volunteer. While the Duke stepped up while rubbing his arms from the cold.

"I volunteer two men, my Lord!" The Duke spoke up as Hans accepted. Before the Duke whispered to his two guards. "Be prepared for anything. And should you encounter the Queen, you are to put an end to this winter. Do you understand?"

The two bodyguards looked serious as they obeyed directly from the Duke to kill Elsa.

They clearly aren't aware of how powerful she is. And who is with the Snow Queen. Not that it'll stop them from trying.
