Chapter 11 – A Love letter to Subaru
The sky was bright with the sun peeking through the clouds. Winds blew with a slight cold
breeze.
A Raven-haired boy laid on the lap of a girl with pale skin, her long silver hair blew with
the wind as she peeked at the boys face though her black veil covering her eyes.
She ruffled the boys hair, Her face muscle began to look more relaxed as she patted his
head more.
She sang softly to him,

The girl had a huge blush on her face. A butterfly flew towards them and sat on the raven
haired boys face as he was fast asleep on her lap. She gave a soft chuckle to the boy.
The boys eyes twitched as the sunlight fell directly on his eyes, He slowly opened his eyes.
"Argh"
"It feels like I had a very bad nightmare"
He blinked before his eyes were partly open, he looked up to the girl but due to the sun
his vision was slightly blocked, He was only able to catch the glimpse of a pair of beautiful
amethyst eyes peeking from behind the girls veil.
"Subaru" She called.
He kept blinking as the sunlight got stronger and stronger.
He closed his eyes once more as the sun was blinding him.
"I LOVE YOU" She confessed.
*beep*
*beep* *beep*

His phone's alarm rang.
"MHmmmm"
He groaned in his bed.
"Subaru~"
A soft and calm voice called out to him.
"Urgh, just five more mins, please" He replied half asleep, gripping his blanket and
tucking his head inside to block his ears.
The voice stopped calling out for him and it was silent all of a sudden.
Subaru was partially awake at this point.
*beep*
*beep* *beep*
*beep*beep*beep*
His phones alarm started ringing again.
He tucked out his arm from inside his blanket, swinging his arm near his bedside table to
search for his phone. As he grabbed his phone and stopped the alarm he went back to
sleep again.
*Snore*
He was fast asleep again.
Five mins passed
*Thud* *Thud* *Thud*
A loud footstep was heard running upstairs to his room.
The door to his room was Flung open, As a tall well built muscular man jumped onto his
bed and latched onto him in a tight forearm grip.
"GOOD MORNING, MY SON"
He shouted as Subaru immediately patted his arm like a wrestler giving up on a ring.
"Can you not wake me up like a normal father would" Subaru yelled.
"This is a Natsuki family tradition" The man with Black hair with the hair style mostly
similar to Subaru replied as his black eyes shined through his glasses.
"You two are energetic as always"
"But mom would like to eat first so can we have breakfast now?" Standing at the door the
soft voice spoke to both of them a middle-aged woman with brown hair and brown eyes.
"Sure, Mom" Subaru replied.
As both of them made their way downstairs, Subaru left to freshen up for the day.
"Honey, You look even more beautiful today" Subaru father complimented his wife.
"Awww dear"
"But still you need to finish you green peas" She replied with a big smile on her face.
Subaru entered the dining room. Dressed up in his school uniform ready to leave for
school.
Both his mom and dad were shocked. "Subaru" She spoke putting her hand on his
forehead.
"Are you well?" She further added.
"AHH"
His father pinched him hard.
"This isn't a dream!" His father replied.
"WHY DID YOU PINCH ME! GO PINCH YOUSELF TO CONFIRM!" Subaru yelled.
Both his mother and Father gave a bright laugh. "We are proud of you son" They spoke
together almost in a sync.
The whole family sat down to breakfast. His father secretly slid the plate full of green
peas towards Subaru.
"You need more energy for the day, have this" his father replied.
Subaru looked at the plate resembling green as a forest, He pushed it back to his father.
"I feel very healthy enough to continue for the day, You are getting old maybe you need
it more than me" He replied mocking his father.
The fight for the Great forest of pea's lasted for 2 more mins until Subaru won.
"Dear can I get some mayonnaise" His father pleaded his wife.
"No"
"Todays mayo quota is served only for Subaru"
"I am happy he decided to get back to school" She spoke with a large smile.
"Get back to school? Was I going to school everyday like normal?" He thought at the back
of his mind.
"Subaru"
"You are going to be late" She spoke looking at the clock.
"Shit"
"Subaru, Language" She warned Subaru.
"Sorry but I need to leave, Goodbye" He hurried as he stuffed his mouth with the last
piece of bread and mayo sandwich.
"Want your father to walk with you to school" His father asked.
"I am not a kid anymore, Plus it would be more embarrassing, a high schooler coming
getting dropped off at school by his father like a kid" Subaru replied with a blush on his
face with a embarrassed reaction.
"No matter what you are still my baby boy" His mother added.
Subaru gave a huge smile as he turned back and ran out of the door on his way to school.
*cough* *cough*
"I should have taken my time to chew it properly" Subaru spoke as he choked on the
sandwich he inhaled like Kirby.
He purchased a lemon soda from the vending machine on his way to school as he opened
the drink. A cat ran towards him followed by a woman with a pale skin.
The cat jumped on his face and scratched his face. He panicked as the lemon soda slipped
from his hand.
"Ah that's dangerous" A women called out.
The lemon soda spilled all over her. The cat ran away from them. Subaru held his face in
pain but somehow he open his eyes to see the women with pale skin, He silver hair
dripping lemon soda as she looked down at her uniform soaked and all wet.
"Uh!, I will be late now" She left a sigh of disappointment.
"You?"
"That uniform is similar to my school!" Subaru noticed.
"AH! I am so sorry" She spoke.
"Are you also from Ebisu private highschool?" He asked.
"Yes"
"I am a new transfer student, I was supposed be early, but I am scared of the new faces I
will meet, I have no friends here, so I decide to take a stroll and calm my nerves down"
She replied in a nervous tone.
"I am so so sorry" She pleaded again.
"Its ok come on standup" Subaru spoke to her reaching his hand out for help.
He gave her his jacket and handkerchief; He kept looking at her beautiful Amethyst eyes
as she wiped her silver hair with his handkerchief.
"Um!"
"Can I ask for you name?" Subaru asked with a blush on his face.
"Hmmm?" She stared at him for a second.
"Uh its fine if you don't want to, I just think it would be a crime to not know the name of
such a beautiful girl who was starting at the same school as I am" He rushed in with
explanation to not be accused of being a creep.
She gave a soft chuckle as he continued "Satella".
"Satella?" He repeated.
"Hmmm is there something wrong?" She asked Subaru.
"Not really, I just have this weird feeling as if I am forgetting something or "Someone""
Subaru looked confused.
"Hey, I know, Now that we know each other I will be your first friend at school"
"But before" He turned back, "Wait here I will get a towel from the nearest convenience
store" He spoke as he left in a hurry.
"Thank you, Subaru" She replied.
"Huh"
"Did I give her my name yet?" He thought to himself.
As he disappeared into the distance.
Satella stood there beside the vending machine holding Subaru jacket hard.
"Is this really what you wanted" A smug feminine voice called out to her.
Satella turned back.
A tea table appeared with a white umbrella blocking the sunlight, A teacup elegantly
placed upon a saucer laid on the table empty beside a teapot.
A woman with beautiful white hair, she walked from behind the umbrella like a ghost
appearing out of nowhere. Her white hair shining bright as she sat on the chair, her
elegant black dress refined her beauty more with a butterfly hair clip on her hair adding to
her beauty.
She poured the steaming tea onto the cup as she continued, "You can't hold him for
longer, you can't keep lying to him"
"I don't need to hear that from you, Echidna" Satella replied.
"Death is permanent, People can't keep holding onto the one who are long gone" Echidna
continued.
Satella kept quiet as she listened to her looking down at the ground gripping his jacket
placed around her more hardly.
"You will never understand, and that is what makes you and me different" Satella spoke.
"Huh! I never aimed to be like you, I was just interested in him due to his ability"
"He seemed fun to observe" Echidna replied.
As Satella's eyes grew furious. Echidna stopped speaking further on the topic.
"Well, it's a matter of time"
"I am waiting to see what exciting outcome this brings" She continued to mock Satella.
As echidna disappeared and it was back to the normal scenery of a park. As Satella stood
near the vending machine. A voice called out "OI! Satella!"
"Subaru!" She turned back.
"Here is the towel"
"We maybe late, but we can still make it by the second period" Subaru spoke.
She kept looking at him without blinking. Her amethyst eyes glowed as it reflected the sun
light.
"I love you, My beloved" She whispered.
"Huh! Did you say something?" Subaru asked.
"Nothing" She replied letting out a sweet smile
Subaru looked at her confused, He blushed as he couldn't believe how beautiful she was as
he chimed in together with a smile.
As both of them walked together side by side towards the school.
A butterfly flew inside an open book as Echidna closed it drinking her tea.
"Natsuki Subaru"
"Your really are a strange man"
She spoke with a smile on her face.
