One Way To Get Rid Of A Rival
This chapter is pretty much self explanatory like the others. As we will see how Sofia will react when she has an intimate time with Pedro. But this time, Pedro is the one that feels something strange about it. Jacqueline and Jose are reading parenting books. And Nico will have a run in with Karina, but it doesn't go the way he would have expected. Plus…RDJ makes a drunk phone call. But who does he call? Let's Return To The Party…
The party was becoming more of a relaxing time, as many of the guests that were there for Martin's fashion designs had already left to go their own ways.
Whereas others remained to stick around with their own groups of friends. Calming the place down a fair bit.
Sofia, after many many times of wanting to get the man she had deep feelings for alone. Was finally alone with her for a good hour or so, when the other guests had decided to depart.
Both cardinals were dancing with each other to a couple of Ed Sheeran songs. One of them being 'Perfect' which is a song that Sofia chose on purpose.
Because she wanted to feel him close to her as they danced the night away.
"Woah, you are quite the dancer! What's your secret?" Pedro chuckled and spun her around, before he gradually wrapped his arms around her from behind. As he began grinding on her ass.
"When you got the figure like mine, you gotta learn to dance!" She replied and winked at him, as she spun around again and had her chest pressed up against his. "Who taught you how to dance?"
"Zara taught me to slow dance, pretty much? I already excel at samba dancing." He replied with a chuckle.
"Of course she did…" She rolled her eyes only a little…but this wasn't enough for him not to notice.
"Do you…have a problem with Zara?" The male cardinal ride he eyebrow in curiosity. As he just remembered the conversation he had with Samantha, earlier that morning.
"Whaaaat? No! No no no! I ain't got a problem with her! What's there to have a problem with?" Sofia lied, as she didn't want to tell him why she didn't like her at all.
"It's just that, every time I mention her, or when she shows up out of nowhere, your whole attitude changes. And that worries me…"
"It does?" She replied with a surprised look.
"Of course it does! I mean…you and I have known each other for half a year now. And I have gotten to know you, and I've enjoyed it a lot." He smiled at her, as he gently caressed her fingers with his.
"I've enjoyed getting to know you too. And…" For a split moment…Sofia locked eyes with the man she had feelings for.
Pedro paused as he was staring deeply into her soul. Normally, they would be friends with benefits and he always enjoyed fooling around with her and fucking her. But…there was something about the way he was gazing into her eyes.
It was something that he hasn't really experienced before…but he had a warm feeling in his chest. A feeling in which he hadn't felt before.
"And?" Pedro very softly spoke, as all of a sudden…when Sofia pressed her large breasts up against his chest. He couldn't help but feel that he had an urge to lean in and kiss her.
"And…I've enjoyed…spending time with you…" In her mind, she felt like he was so close to wanting to kiss her. But because she was waiting for this moment for so long…she couldn't wait anymore!

And as their beaks were only millimetres apart from each other…it was actually Pedro who made the final move.
As he caressed the side of her face, he moved his beak close to hers and they both locked their beaks in a sweet and passionate kiss.
As they had moved to wrap their arms around each other, Sofia's heart felt like it was beating a million times a minute. As she felt like her whole body was melting from how beautiful this kiss felt.
As for Pedro…he had mixed emotions right now.
On the one hand, he really enjoyed kissing her in such a beautiful and passionate manner. But he didn't know why?
He loved caressing her body as they locked beaks…but it felt different to anything he had experienced before.

"Woah? What's wrong Sof? You look a bit upset." Zara turned up wearing a very thinly strapped skimpy bikini. That was only just about covering her private parts and her nipples. She got a lot of attention from the men at the party that surrounded them. "You look like you are having a bit of a childish tantrum."
But she was hoping to especially gain a certain cardinal, who at this moment…was stood there with a dumbfounded expression on his face.
Like he had no idea on what to think or say.
"We were in the middle of something here! What gives you the right to interrupt us?!" Sofia was on the verge of losing her cool, in front of everyone at the party. "That bikini is a little revealing isn't it?"
"You like it? It's one of the very latest ones…" She did a little twirl and even twerked her butt a little. Hoping the male cardinal would be staring at her. R to no effect whatsoever, as he didn't even bat an eyelash at her.
"Looks like you are trying hard to gain every man's eyes on that ass…that fat ass that is." She spitefully said, earning Zara to give her an annoyed look.
"Sof, you guys were kissing? It's no big deal." The blue jay put a hand on her hip, looking at her fingernails. "If you felt uncomfortable with me standing here. Then why do it at all?"
"Because smart beak! I am having some quality time with my good friend here! And I do not need you to say anything to me." She growled even more as she was approaching her. Making the blue jay back up a little uncomfortably.
"What the heck is your issue with me?" She cursed, almost reaching the edge of one of the pools. "All I am doing is trying to spend some time with my childhood friend. And you are simply just jealous about my presence."
"Jealous? Of you?! Please! Every time I wanna have done good quality time with Pedro, you always seem to show up and ruin it! Why? Are you in love with him or something?!" Soon, a few birds around them began staring at them, watching this whole scene unfold.
"How is that any of your business, if I was? Besides, why are you so touchy about it? Are you in love with him?" She only whispered what she said just now, only so that Pedro couldn't hear it.
"H-How is that any of YOUR business?!" The way she slightly blushed a light pink there, Pedro didn't notice it. But the blue jay female did.
"Ummm, ladies? Please can we not have this here?" Pedro was trying to keep the peace, but neither of them listened to him.
"Not now Pedro!" Sofia snapped back, not in an angry way. More in a kind and gentle way. "This is how ladies…deal with things."
"You going to let her talk to you like that? Why would you wanna spend time with someone who has to dress slutty to gain your attention?!" Zara very rudely pointed out, as Sofia all of a sudden felt quite embarrassed. Which is a very rare feeling for her, as she doesn't normally feel embarrassed.
And because she hated this new feeling…she did something pretty stupid.
She ended up shoving Zara brutally by the shoulders, making her go flying into the pool head first. As many of the guests around them began gasping in shock.
"SOF?!" Pedro immediately went wide eyed and approached her. "What did you do that for?!"
"Does it matter?! She is a bitch and a hoe! Clearly she is just trying to get in the way!" She yelled back in frustration.
"Get in the way of what?" He arched a curious eyebrow.
"I-I-I mean…Get in the way…" As she was struggling to finish her sentence, a certain feminine sounding green armed man approached them and cut her off mid sentence.
"What's going on over here?" Martin suddenly approached the cardinal duo with the security guard he hired for the evening. "What did you do here?"
"That crazy woman just pushed me in the pool vigorously! And I think I hurt my ankle!" Zara yelled in horror. Although, she had appeared to be really milking her injured ankle. Whilst giving Sofia a victorious smirk on her beak.
"Sofia, why would you do that?" Martin sadly asked his friend, putting a hand on his hip.
"She just…really ticked me off! I did it in retaliation!" She answered back with her hands shaking. "She was calling me a slut, made fun of my outfit, called me some horrible names…"
"I'm sorry Sof…but because of the severity of the situation. I'm gonna have to ask you to leave the premises." The green armed mam reluctantly stated, as he ordered the guard to escort her out of the party. "This is nothing personal. I just can't tolerate this sort of behaviour."
"But…She didn't do anything?" Pedro attempted to defend her, to no avail.
"I'm not asking again. Please leave my home." Martin politely asked a second time.
"Fine! I don't wanna be here anyway! Too many BITCHES about!" She emphasised that second last word towards the blue jay girl climbing out of the pool. Who was walking along in her skimpy bikini, swishing her hips in a sensual fashion with her boobs jiggling. Still giving a victorious smirk on her beak.
But as she thought that Pedro would be staring at her, he was in fact gazing at Sofia's saddened expression. And for some reason, that made him feel twice as bad for her.
"Martin, this was just a huge misunderstanding here? Plus, she doesn't seem to be hurting that much, if she was able to climb out of a pool just fine?" Pedro remarked, technically throwing her childhood friend under the bus.
You can imagine that this must have annoyed her.
"What the fuck Pedro? You saw what she did? And you choose to defend her?" Zara piped up rudely, as she was now grabbing her towel and wrapped it around her. "You can't be serious?!"
"I saw you antagonising her, and then you made fun of her! Which I gotta say, ain't cool! You know that anyone who messes with those who I care about loses my respect." He remarked and put a hand on Sofia's shoulder.
This was enough to calm her down, because she loved the way he touched her like this.
SLAP!
Zara stood up to him and slapped him across the face brutally, before grabbing her bag of clothes to change into. "You know what? You really haven't changed at all, have you Pedro? You always seem to have no idea when someone has feelings for you!" She blurted out quite loudly in an attempt to embarrass him.
"Tell me about it…" Sofia thought to herself. Despite absolutely loving this whole scene unfold.
"You, have feelings for me?" Pedro replied quite surprised by this.
"I did! But now? Now I see that you are clearly not the guy I thought you were. Because I thought you'd be defending me, instead of her!" She pointed her finger at the cardinal with an angry glare.
"Her, name is Sofia! And I don't reciprocate your feelings Zara. I'm sorry. I thought we could be cool and all, being good friends again. But clearly that cannot happen." Pedro stood up tall and put a hand on Sofia's hip. As she smiled at him with so much admiration for him.
"Fine by me! Keep the bitch! Maybe you and her can continue screwing each other until one of you gets bored!" And just like that, Zara was the one being escorted out by security. As Martin realised who the real trouble maker was out of the two of them.
"Sorry for the confusion darling! Please, enjoy the party! Or, if you do wanna go home now I completely understand." Martin solemnly apologised for the confusion and gave Sofia a hug.
"It's okay Martin. All is forgiven." She smiled as he nodded his head. "But I think I may want to go home now anyway. Pedro? You coming with?"
"Sure thing girl! Let me just order the uber." Pedro immediately pulled out his cell phone to order the Uber. As for Sofia, she was stood there talking to Martin. Laughing hysterically inside after successfully getting rid of Zara out of her life.
But as he walked off to order the Uber, there was something about that kiss with her that felt…very strange deep down. It was as if his chest was feeling quite warm and his heart rate had increased.
"Oooh, I need to lay off the red bull for a while." Pedro thought that it was energy drink that made him feel like this.
Little did he know…that it was something else entirely that made him feel this way.
He just hasn't fired out what it was.
Now Let's See How Jacqueline And Jose Are…
The first day that Jacqueline had agreed to move in with her boyfriend Jose, for the remainder of her pregnancy. It was her idea that both of them indulge themselves in reading the books on parenting that they had purchased earlier that day.
In fact, the couple went baby shopping that morning with Tilly and Samantha. And they bought nearly $1000 worth of stuff. That Jacqueline kindly paid as she did have one joint account with her best friend RDJ.
"So, do you have any ideas on baby names yet?" Jose asked Jacqueline sweetly, caressing her hand with his own. As she smiled at him warmly.
"I was thinking…Cecilia if it's a girl. But as a boy…I haven't quite figured out a good fit jet." She answered honestly, finishing off another book she read.
"I love it! Cecilia…We could even call her Ceci for short." He stated, finishing off his book. "I had the idea of naming him after my deceased father? Who was sadly shot and killed by a mugger when I was nine years old." The green armed man sadly remarked.
"Oh baby, I'm so sorry!" The blue female sadly replied.
"It's okay. I was thinking that it would be a good way to honour his memory."
"What was his name?"
"Diego." He said with a smile.
"Diego…A perfect choice for a boy." Jacqueline grinned and winked at him playfully. "Hehehe…"
"What are you giggling about?" He smirked a little bit, noticing that her face was blushing a little bit.
"Your flies on your shorts are down." She pointed out the fact that his flies are undone, and when he glanced down to notice. He laughed a little bit and zipped them back up in embarrassment.
"Oops. Silly me!" He chuckled and zipped it back up. "I do struggle a lot more now than what I used to."
"I know. And I am sorry that you have to go through all of this. But on the plus side, after I give birth to our baby. And after I've finally lost the baby weight, I can help you when you need me." She beamed and gave him a kiss on his beak. "I love you Jose."
"I love you too!" Jose replied after pulling away from the kiss. "By the way, have you spoken to Lila since the incident?"
"Yes. Terrible what happened to her. I swear that if I ever see him back out on the street again, I'm gonna strap him down on a table. Pour liquid nitrogen on his dick and balls. Then smash it with a fucking hammer!" She tightened her hands into fists.
"You know? I think it's really hot when you talk like that." The green armed man remarked and winked at his girlfriend.
"Hehehe!" She giggled lovingly and closes the book she was holding. "Okay, I'm ready for you to quiz me!"
"Very well!" Jose stood up and took out a note book and a pen. "Question one. How long must you wait after giving birth, before you can give your baby a bath?"
"Ummmm, oooh! At least 24 hours!" She answered very confidently.
"Correct! Question two. How often must a new born baby need to eat?"
"That's an easy one! Every two to three hours. But just in case, it's always wise to ask the paediatrician, because it could be different based on the weight of the baby."
"Excellent! Question three. If you are dealing with dry skin on your newborn baby, what kind of baby lotion must you use?" He asks the next one, whilst noticing her trying to piece together the answer in her head.
"Ughhhhh, hmmmm? Oh yes! I got it!" She clapped her hands together a couple of times. "The answer is a hypoallergenic lotion or fragrance-free baby lotion."
"Brilliant! Now this is the big one…And I'm not talking about my penis…" Je joked with a slight wink.
"RDJ's is still bigger…" She answered honestly, as he just smirked again.
"Stop rubbing it in! Anyway, here is the final question! What must you do if your baby is asleep?"
"You should also be sleeping?" She replied with a grin.
"Correct! You are so smart." Jose passionately kissed her on the beak again, before wrapping his arm around her lovingly.
"Hehehe! Haaaaa, you know what's crazy?" Jacqueline sighed in a relaxed manner.
"Hmmm?"
"I thought that if we were to have a baby. I was worried that you wouldn't want one. And I was afraid that you were going to abandon us…" She teared up a little bit.
"Hey hey hey! I could never leave you! Or our baby!" He embraced her by pressing his nose up against hers. "I am so deeply in love with you, that I could never leave you. And I am so excited about being a father."
"I'm so deeply in love with you too!"
As they leaned in and kissed each other again in the mist loving of ways. You could tell that their connection was really strong. And their relationship has only grown stronger now after finding out about the baby they would be having together.
Now Let's See Where Nico Is…
"Shhhh, there's that samba guy that got slapped by his girlfriend…"
"I bet he had a tiny dick! And that's why his girl left him…"
"What a loser! Nobody will ever want him again!"
As the male canary was making his way through the city with his face low, and his eyes full of tears. He kept on thinking about how his relationship had ended so abruptly.
So much so that he kept on rubbing his sore cheek, after being brutally slapped and dumped by Lillian.
Who little did he know…ended up having a wild night with RDJ.
As the night sky was signalling the early hours of the morning. Nick felt that maybe he needed to go somewhere to relieve some of this stress he was feeling.
Just as he felt like he wasn't having any luck at all, he noticed a certain orange canary girl standing outside of a cocktail bar. Standing there smoking a cigarette whilst she was minding her own business.
"Hey Karina! H-How's it going?" Nico caught up with the canary girl. Who all of a sudden jumped at the sound of his voice.
"Nico? What…What are you doing here?" She sounded quite awkward by his presence.
"I was hoping I'd bump into you. I was wondering if we could I dunno? Go for a drink with me?" Nico very much wanted to hang out with her to take his mind off of everything.
"Haha…You're kidding right?" The orange canary girl put a hand on her hip. "No offence samba boy…but I don't date anyone who ain't hitting the big time anymore."
"What? What are you…"
"Hey look? There's the loser that got slapped by his girlfriend!" A random black hawk girl walking with her boyfriend pointed him out. As they began pulling their cell phones out to take photos and videos of him to post on social media.
"You see…You lost your reputation Nico. Don't get me wrong, you're cute. But you're a nobody now." Karina blew him a kiss to mock him, before waltzing into the bar with a few other birds that were stood outside smoking.
As for the make yellow canary, he soon felt that a lot of eyes fell upon him in an instant. With everyone taking our their devices to record him to most likely post it on scowl media.
He felt completely and utterly humiliated by all of this negative attention.
So much so that he whipped out an old looking green baseball cap and a pair of sunglasses. As he began to escape the surrounding fans. Who were pointing and laughing at him as he ran off.
Disappearing into the night.
Finally…Let's Head Back To RDJ…
A couple of hours had passed by since RDJ had sexual relations with Lillian, and after she decided that it was best that she were to go home. He thought that maybe he needed to eventually call his dad.
Just to tell him about the breakup with Lila, and ask for some much needed advice.

He whipped out his cell phone and began scrolling through his contacts, then when he pressed the phone icon on the number he chose. The phone began to ring.

Unknown: Hello?
RDJ: Oh? Ummmm, hey Hannah. Is my d-dad there?
Unknown: Ummmm…I'm n…
RDJ: It's okay! It's okay…I can tell you the news!
Unknown: Ummm, okay? Not quite sure why you are…
RDJ: So basically…My girlfriend Lila and I have broken up!
Unknown: Lila? Girlfriend?
RDJ: Oh come on, you do know that we've been together! Anyway, I caught her being close to her ex boyfriend Manuel…And when I con-confront-ted her…She had nothing to say!
Unknown: I don't think you understand RDJ, I am not H…
RDJ: You know what? I think you are right! Maybe after some time had passed we can possibly talk again. That's if she still doesn't have feelings f-f-for him!
Unknown: Are you okay? You sound like you are drunk or high?
RDJ: Drunk! Super drunk!
Unknown: That wouid explain why you called me. Don't you realise that I am…
Hang up!
On The Other Side…
"What the? Right…" The individual on the other line was in fact a woman. She called out to the other room. "Honey! I'm going to Rio! I need to book a flight for tomorrow morning!"
"Okay. I'll see to it that it gets done!" The individual calling from the other room has to be either a boyfriend or a husband to her.
Just as she took out her cell phone, she instantly checked times and prices. "Haaaa, it's been a while since I've been home…"
Now I wonder who that could be? Looks like Pedro had the same sort of strange feeling that Sofia had at first when the two of them passionately kissed each other. So is he starting to feel differently about Sofia? Jacqueline and Jose got to read some baby books and spend some time together. Especially now since the two of them are now living together. Also Karina rejected Nico after his popular status collapsed. And is now the laughing stock of Rio right now. And RDJ drunk called a certain individual on the phone, but I wonder who that could be?
