And I'm back, thank you all for the reviews, here's chapter two of Invincible, tsking place in Episode 1. But not gonna start at the White House.
Illinois, Chicago Suburbs
Carlton "Carl" Tennyson sat at the kitchen table with a steaming cup of coffee in one hand and an actual printed newspaper in the other. His wife, Sandra, moved around the kitchen preparing breakfast, casting a skeptical glance at him.
"A newspaper, really?" She asked, her tone amused.
Carl didn't look up. "The TV's all junk. It's been going on about the White House getting attacked for the last 20 minutes."
Sandra raised an eyebrow. "Again?"
"Yeah." Carl muttered, flipping a page. "And no mention of Ben, which means he's probably up to something the government doesn't like."
Sandra sighed, placing plates on the table. "You know, for an English professor, you sound more like a conspiracy theorist."
Carl smirked. "And for an architect, you make one hell of a chef."
Sandra gave him a playfully suspicious look. "Is that an insult disguised as a compliment or the other way around?"
Carl grinned. "You tell me. I'm just a conspiracy theorist, remember." He cheekily, but lovingly, replied.
Sandra leaned down, pecking him on the cheek. "A cute one."
Straightening up, she walked to the stairs and called out, "Benjamin Kirby Tennyson, hurry up! You and Mark are going to be late!"
Upstairs
Ben Tennyson, now 17, zipped up his signature green jacket with the number 10 emblazoned on it, preparing to grab his bag when Cecil suddenly teleported into the room. "Kid we need to talk." Cecil spoke after teleporting into the room.
"What the!" Ben exclaimed in surprise. "Seriously you can't just call, I thought it costs like 5 million dollars everytime you teleport like that."
"The techs got it down to 1 million now, which means I can do it 5 times more if I want to." Cecil replies, then goes closer to Ben and pulls out a tablet he brought with him. "But I came to talk about this."
Ben took the tablet and scrolled through it, it was a bunch of news headlines about him and his recent heroics. Since appearing onto the scene 6-7 years ago Ben, or Morpher as people call him, has become, at times, troublesome to multiple goverments, organizations, militaries and politicians both domestic and international. Even having to go to The Hague to argue his point, but he's never been convicted, or his innocence was granted via a Veto.
"Oh well this is bad." Ben admitted, then turns tablet showing Cecil an unflattering shot of him as Four Arms whose photo was taken mid sneeze. "They only have this of Four Arms, I gave them plenty of good stuff."
"This is serious kid, you destroyed the equipment of dozens of Black Forest operatives in Iran, then threatened to turn them over to the Baghdad Police if they didn't sign confessions." Cecil told him.
"Who were using the whole thing to run a drug and human trafficking ring that the army was covering up." Ben points out. "You forgot the CEO to." Chuckles. "He was wetting his pants when XLR8 brought brought him to the prison."
"You destoyed and blew up 50 Billion dollars worth of US military equipment in Israel." Cecil reminded him.
"That was gonna be used to kill innocent people and destroy hospitals and schools." Ben countered. "Plus who doesn't love fireworks?" He joked.
"Yous stole half of France's gold reserve." Cecil added.
"Actually two-thirds." Ben corrected nonchalantly. "And I didn't steal it, I "redistributed" it, back to the countries France stole it from."
"Then you pantsed the French Prime Minister." Cecip continued. "While he was giving a speech."
Ben chuckle at that. "Yeah that was fun." Cecil continues a stern look towards Ben. "Oh relax Cecil, by tomorrow there'll be some alien invasion I have to stop and they'll try to give me a medal again."
"That's not the point." Cecil tells him. "President was attacked, we could've needed you."
"Please." Ben rolls his eyes. "That happenes every other month and you guys have to rebuild the place like twice a year." He points out. "Does the president even live there anymore?"
"I know you wanna help and I don't wanna stop you." Cecil speaks. "Just try not piss off anymore governments until I can convince the President you're an asset... again."
"Sheesh. You accidentally fight the Guardians one time and suddenly you can't be trusted ever." Ben commented as he walked out. "Later Cecil." Cecil then teleports away as Ben closed the door.
Downstairs
Ben descended the stairs, his usual confident stride leading him to the kitchen table where his parents were already seated. "Morning." He greeted casually, grabbing a plate and piling it high with breakfast.
Carl, his father, barely glanced up from his newspaper. "Morning, kiddo. Been giving Cecil headaches again?"
Ben smirked. "Cecil? Nah. His bosses, maybe."
Sandra, his mother, shot him a sharp look. "Ben, you need to start being more careful. Just because you can go globe-trotting and stirring up trouble doesn't mean you should."
"She's right." Carl chimed in, finally folding his paper. "You came pretty close to getting dragged in front of the UN and The Hague, for crying out loud."
Ben shrugged dismissively. "Politicians are like bulldogs—lots of barking, not much bite. Except for Teddy Roosevelt, but he's, you know, dead."
Sandra sighed, clearly unimpressed. "Listen, sweetie, you've got to start treating these people like coworkers. Your dad and I don't always get along with everyone we work with, but we find a way to cooperate. It's part of being responsible."
"Your mother's right." Carl added, retreating behind his paper again.
Ben raised an eyebrow, leaning back in his chair. "Sure, but if you didn't have to work with them, you wouldn't, because they're idiots."
Carl paused mid-turn of the page, lowering the paper with a thoughtful frown. "Huh. That's… a fair point."
Sandra threw her hands up in exasperation. "Don't encourage him!"
Ben just grinned, clearly pleased with himself then proceeded to get up. "Gotta go, Mark's waiting for me." He then proceeded to leave.
"Don't forget it's Tuesday dinner tonight." His mom reminded.
"That's weird, wasn't it Tuesday last week?" Ben joked as he left.
Outside
Ben started walking away from his house and when he got towards Mark Grayson's house, where he chuckled a bit as he saw his friend jump up like he was trying to fly. "Poor Mark." Ben sighed, seeing the pain Mark was feeling at not getting powers like his dad, Omni-Man. 'I still don't get how nobody here knows, there's a sonic boom once a day here?' Ben thought as he joined Mark on their journey to school.
School
"You got that math homework?" Ben asked as Mark opened his locker. "Quadratic Equations make no sense to me."
"Here." Mark said as he handed Ben his copy. "Didn't you get a B on the last exam?"
"Well that was because I bribed Sam to stick a mirror on the ceiling over Kyle's desk." Ben explained. "And it was just a B-."
"Didn't he get a C?" Mark responded.
"Not Kyle J, Kyle S." Ben told him.
"But he always gets A's." Mark pointed out, wondering why Ben didn't get a higher grade.
"Well it would've suspicious if I got to high of a grade." Ben reasoned.
Just then their other friend William came in, reading about the latest news. "Mauler Twins attack the White House? Nuts, right?"
"I saw." Mark said rolling his eyes, having watched the news this morning.
"I can't believe the Guardians of the Globe let them get that close to killing the President." Will commented.
"They didn't even get into the building." Mark points out.
"Plus that happens like once a week." Ben chimes.
"And Omni-Man was there, too." Mark adds, feeling the need to stick up for his father.
"Morpher was doing important stuff to." Ben again spoke.
"Of course." Will said rolling his eyes. "I forgot I was talking to an Omni-Maniac and a Morpho-head." He then sighs. "I mean Morpher is never NOT an alien, but I guess that adds to his mystique and while Omni-Man is hot and all, and that mustache." Mark then sighs, though not because be is homophobic but because Will is unintentionally calling his father hot.
"Sorry, sorry okay, straight stuff." Will said now changing the subject. "You two up for some Clash Crash tonight? I'm hoping for a Level 43 chest armor." He says excitedly.
"I'm free... unless something comes up." Ben responded, as he checked his phone.
"Or someone?" Will chided. "I swear I will never get how Kai has you wrapped around her little finger."
"That's cause you're not Straight and not in a relationship with someone out of your league." Ben points out.
Mark then sighs, causing Will go say. "Don't bring up that stupid job, man. Don't be that person."
"Seriously dude." Ben groaned.
"When's the last time you bought a comic book?" Mark replied. "Those things are expensive, and they're doing Seance Dog twice a month all summer." He reasoned.
"You're into the stupidest stuff." Will laments.
"Ditto." Ben agreed.
"Knock it off, Todd!" A girl is heard, directing their attention to the school bully trying to 'flirt' with Amber Bennet who was not interested in any way, shape or form.
Todd scoffs at her dismissiveness. "Come on... Quit playing games. I know you're crazy about me. Marcy told me." He tells her.
"Well, you are big and strong, aren't you?" She replies, pretending to be intrigued.
Todd then flexed his muscles, feeling very full if himself. "You know it."
"And you think that makes it okay for you to harass me?" Amber spits as she tries to get away, but Todd grabs her.
"Hey, don't walk away from me." He demands, keeping a good grip on her wrist. "What, are you a lesbian or something?" He asked, thinking that must be the only reason she's not interested in him, even though there are plenty of others.
"Oh, my god, I wish! Would you leave me alone then?" Amber responds, as she continues to try and break free of him, but Todd wouldn't let her. "Let go of me, so I can go find a girl to kiss!"
Seeing this Mark decided to try and step in, but before he did Will out a hand on his shoulder stopping. "Don't. The guy's twice your size."
"Maybe you can just sit back and watch this, but I can't." Mark says.
"I can because I'm not Omni-Man, and neither are you." Will pointed out.
"You can take him Mark." Ben encourages. "Doing something is always better than doing nothing."
"Let's see." Mark says before walking towards Todd and clearing his throat. "I think Amber's been pretty clear about how she feels, Todd." He says, his voice altered a little to sound more authoritative.
"You serious Grayson?" Todd replied, as he let go of Amber and decided to confront Mark.
"Look-" Mark is cut off as Todd punches him square in the face making him stumble backwards. He then punched Mark in the stomach making him double over. Todd was about to throw a third punch but a hand caught it.
"Come on Todd." Ben said standing to beside Mark as he fell to the floor. "Three hits is overkill don't you think?"
"Back off Tennyson!" Todd pulled his hand free. "You think I can't kick both your asses? Watch me!" He lifts his foot to kick the downed mark when Amber runs in from behind and kicks Todd in the crotch.
"Leave him alone!" She warned as Todd doubles over holding his crotch in pain.
The bully proceed to run away as fast as he could in his current state. "What are you looking at!?" He snapped at the onlookers as he passed by.
Ben and William helped Mark to his feet "You good Mark?" The former asked.
"You couldn't have shown up two punches earlier?" Mark critized with a bit of a groan.
Amber turned to them, specifically Mark. "Thanks." She said softly before walking away.
"See?" Ben says "Now Amber thinks your brave for standing up to Todd and feels sorry that you got beat up."
William smirks, impressed. "He's not wrong. It's a very effective combo."
Mark sighs as new voice joins them.
"Whoa what did I miss?" This was Ben's girlfriend, Kai Green a girl of Navajo descent with long, black hair, brown eyes wearing a short-sleeved red T-shirt with a red and peach colored sweater, green pants, brown boots, silver bracelets and a blue ring.
"Oh just you're usually bully cliche, with Amber kicking Todd in his nuts." Ben explained.
"Hero complex again?" Kai questioned, knowing how Ben usually gets into trouble for that kind of reason.
"Believe me he wasn't that much of a hero." Mark groaned, just before the bell rang.
"Gotta go not flunk English now." Ben said as he and Kai walked away.
"So we going to see that new Rom Com after school?" Kai asked as they walked down.
"Only if you can do what you did the other night." Ben argues.
"What is he talking about?" Mark questions.
"Hello." Will responds. "It's obvious."
"Someone else maybe, but with Ben." Mark responds.
Will ponders this for a few moments then says. "Yeah you're right, remember when he didn't even know who Fight Force was." The both laugh recalling that.
"Or... or the Teen Team." Mark added in between laughs.
Scene Cut
Ben was flying as the Manta ray like alien Jetray back after his patrol. "So anything interesting." Kai's voice spoke through the ear piece Ben was wearing, that was modified to stay in ear under any conditions or his forms.
"Eh not really." Jetray shrugged as he continued on his flight path. "Just your usual criminals, seems like all the real bad ones are on vacation."
"Well the Mauler Twins made headlines." Kai points out.
"No the Guardians made headlines." Ben counters. "They can be pretty tough, but I'd give them only a B."
"Ok professor Hero, who would you rate as a A villain?" Kai questioned.
"Well I guess I'd have to say- WOAH!" As Ben tried to respond but was cut off as some sort of projectile flew up at him and he had to dodge.
"You ok?" Kai asked with concern.
"Yeah just gotta go save the moon I think." Ben responds before he uses Jetray's powers to fly at the projectile. Then when he passed and got ahead of it he fired green lasers from his eyes. Blowing it up, but soon Ben was covered in trash and grease. "Gross!"
"What?" Kai called out to him on his ear piece.
"Yuck." Ben exclaimed in disgust. "I'm covered in Burger Mart trash." Soon Ben began to hear laughing on the other end of the ear piece. "It's not funny."
"(Laughter) Totally is." Kai said trying to control her laughter. "Aren't you in (laughter) the air (laughter)?" Kai questioned in between chuckles.
"Must be a prank from Omni-Man again." Jetray thought. "When is he gonna get over that Mount Rushmore thing?"
"Well you did blast him to Pluto." His girlfriend points out. "Also I don't think it was him, he's busy taking down a dragon in Hong Kong."
"Aw man, always wanted to fight a dragon." Ben complained. "Plus I think I needed something there."
Kai took a moment to respond. "In China?" She questioned. "Like what?"
"Not sure, probably nothing important." Ben shrugged.
Days Later at School
Ben, Will and Mark were walking down the hall, but Mark didn't seem like his usual self. In fact he seemed out of it. "Mark you ok dude?" Ben asked.
"Jeez man. You still sore from Todd's thrashing, what's up?" Will asked, noticing it to.
"Huh?" Mark looked up, then back forward. "No I'm fine." He mumbled.
"Ok man, you sure look fine." Will replied.
"Really?" Ben questioned. "Cause dude you look like something's bugging you."
"Heeeeey Mark Grayson." The annoying voice of Todd called out, causing Mark to sigh in annoyance. "And I don't see Amber anywhere nearby to protect your sorry ass." The bully said as he approached.
As Ben was gonna step In, Mark stopped him. "I got this." Then when Todd got close. "Todd please, just don't-" He was trying to say, but was cut off when the bully grabbed him and shoved him against the lockers.
"Don't?" Todd mocked with a chuckle. "Don't what? Don't kick your ass again. What, are you threatening me, or do you need a replay of what happened last time ass?" He continued.
Mark however was not scarred as he maintained eye contact. "Hit me." He said and when Todd stared at him Mark reiterated. "Go on, hit me as hard as you can."
Slightly perplexed Todd complied, then reeled back his fist and punched Mark hard in the guy. "Oof." Mark grunt, seemingly getting the wind knocked out of him, but then stood back up. "Again." Mark stated plainly, and Todd obliged with a hit square to the face, but again Mark just faced forward seemingly unfazed. "Again, harder." He taunted.
Todd then punched Marks chest as hard as he could, but when his fist made contact it sounded like he was punching a brick wall. And Mark didn't even flinch, just stared back down at Todd, who pulled and cradled his fist. "Freak!" He exclaimed trying to save some face from embarrassment as he ran off.
Mark stared in his direction then noticed people still staring at him, likely wondering how he could take those hits when not long ago Todd would've thrashed him. "Agh." He pretended to groan while clutching his chest, acting, very terribly, like he got hurt.
"Ok dude what is up with you?" Will asked.
"Yeah." Ben concurrd. "Cause yesterday he would've beaten you like a drum."
"I need something to punch." Mark just stated.
"Uh he's gone dude." Will stated. "You missed your shot."
Ben then suggested. "Maybe hit the gym?"
Scene Cut
It was after school, XLR8 skidded to a halt on top of a building in the city. "So back up." Kai requested. "He just let Todd the Toad hit him?" She questioned.
"Yeah, took it like a champ." Ben stated as he lifted XLR8's visor and looked out onto the city. "Something felt off about him though." He pondered. "But what?"
"Hang on." Kai interrupted his thoughts. "Looks like you got a robbery not to far from you."
"Can't the cops handle it?" Ben asked.
"Well it involves a guy made of stone so." She pointed out. "You might wanna get your butt in gear."
Ben stretched. "Ok." Then got into a running position. "I've been wanting to try out that new alien anyway."
Scene Cut
Titan grabbed the robbers and jumped over the fence with kept running. "Looks like we might get away with it." One of the robbers stated with relief in his tone.
Suddenly something jumped in front of their main egress it was a large metallic humanoid alien that was dark blue in color. His silver serrated mouth took up most of his upper body and back; the rest of his head was on top and could swivel from side to side. It consisted of two eyes, a very tall horn in front, and a much shorter one in back. He also had a silver belt indented in his waist, matching wristbands and soles, four claws on each hand, and the inside of his mouth was green.
"Dead end fellas." The alien being said as it blocked their way.
Titan stepped forward "Move. Before I make you bug."
"The name's Eatle brick for brains." The alien replied.
Titan rushed at him, but they both suddenly heard yelling and looked to see a man flying out of control towards them. He ended up crashing into Eatle then Titan and they knock over the two guys and smash through the metal fence before tumbling across the ground.
The individual was wearing goggles and a hankerchief over his face, along with a read shirt, glives, blue pants and boots. "Meant to do that." He said lamely as he got back up
Eatle sat up and thought. 'Whose this guy?'
Titan got to his feet. "Who the hell are you?" He asked
"I'm... uh, I'm,.. I guess I'm still working on that. Any sugestions?" The individual stated a bit akwardly
'He sounds really familiar?' Eatle thought before saying. "What is this you're first time?"
Titans hesitates. If it was one on one he took take whoever this guy was, but he soon realized the alien Beatle was Morpher and was gonna be a bigger problem.
"Speaking of, who are you two supposed to be?" The newbie asked.
This caused a light bulb went off in titans head.
Eatle was a but surprised, his signature insignia was on his chest. "Seriously? I'm-" He tried to answer, but was cut off by Titan.
"We're the guys who are gonna kick your ass!" Titan spoke stepping a towards Eatle, making it it seem like they're a team.
"What?!" Eatle exclaimed. "Hold on."
"We got this partner." Titan said as he grabbed Eatles arm. "Just like we practiced. You hit em high, I'll hit em low." With that he used his strength the throw him at the newbie, causing the two to crash tumble backwards while Titan grabbed the two guys and the cash and ran.
"Get off me!" The Newbie spoke as he threw Eatle off of him, showing surpising strength.
Eatle got up and rubbed his head. "That was so not cool." He stated.
Mark jumped to his feet. "Give up before this gets ugly."
"Chill Greenie, I'm not the bad guy here." Ben tried to explain.
"Right." The newcomer saif with sarcasm. "Cause bad guys always admit to being bad guys."
Eatle tried to reply. "Actually-" But was cut off as the new guy charge punched him arcoss the face, then punched him in the gut a. "Hey!" Eatle exclaimed, before lunging forward and hitting the Newbie in the face with his horn, breaking one of the lenses on his goggles. Eatle then charged into and slammed the wannabe into a wall hard enough it left large cracks in it. When the kid fell to his knees to catch his breath Eatle turned to see Titan and the two guys were gone. "Aw man."
The newcomer looked up and seeing Eatle was distracted he flew up and grabbed his horn. "Hey, hands off the horrrnnn!" He yelled as he was spun around and thrown through the air, smashing across walls and hitting a parked car causing it to tumble across the street.
"Okay. no more Mr. Nice Hero." Eatle growled befor tearing off the fender of a car and eating it.
The newbie landed across the street. "Had enough?" Eatle turned and his horn glowed green. "Uh oh." Eatle fired a green energybeam, blasting his target and sending him to the side of a building.
Suddenly a new voice was heard. "Stand down Morpher." Looking up Eatle saw Omni-Man floating above him
"Morpher?" The new guy said as he stood back up, the it dawned on him "Oh shit." He add, now realizing his mistake.
Omniman looked over at Eatle as he landed. "This is a new one. What do you call it?"
"Eatle." Morpher stated, striking a bit of a pose.
Omni-Man raised an eyebrow. "How do you keep track of all these names?"
"Hey naming them is half the fun." Ben reasoned.
The newbie that attacked Morpher stepped forward, rubbing his neck akwardly. "Morpher, uh Eatle I am so sorry. I didn't know you were... well you."
Eatles eyes wdened as he finally recognised the voice. "Mark?" He thought to himself.
"He's new at this." Omni-Man simply stated, before adding. "I'll take care of things here."
Eatle blinked "Sure. I gotta see if I can find Rockhead and his buddies." With that in a green flash he transformed into XLR8. "Later." Then after lowering his visor that sped off.
Omni-Man turned to Mark and stared at him for a moment. "You look ridiculous."

Tennyson Residence
Ben and Kai were in Ben's room, Kai on the bed and Ben at his computer doing as they did schoolwork. "So wait this guy just attacked you?" Kai questioned in amusement.
Ben turned from his seat on the computer. "Well it was sort of an accident. Pretty sure he just got powers like... yesterday." He theorized. He had told Kai about fighting Mark, but not that Mark was a superhero now.
"Still he kinda kicked your ass." Kai teased wirh amusement.
"Please, he got in a lucky shot." Ben argued, as he turned back to do some work. "While I was distracted from Brickhouse making us look like partners and then ditching. Barely even felt a thing." He added.
"Not hurt huh?" Kai asked, skeptically.
"Not a scratch." Ben dismisses.
"Guess you don't need a kiss to feel better huh?" Kai replied playfully.
Ben smirked at Kai's playful tone, swiveling his chair to face her again. "Well, now that you mention it." He said, leaning back dramatically. "Maybe a kiss would help with the trauma."
Kai rolled her eyes but smiled, leaning forward from her spot on the bed. "You're impossible, you know that?"
"Impossible to resist," Ben shot back confidently, earning a playful shove from Kai, before the two began kissing.
Just then they heard a knock on the door and they split apart as Ben's mother came in. "Ben dinner is ready." She announced.
"Yeah we'll be down in a few." Ben replied.
"You'll be down now." Sandra told her son. "You can make out with your girlfriend some other time." She added before leaving.
"I swear she has little camera's in here or something." Ben theorized, even though he combed through his house for such. "How else does she know."
"Uh women's intuition." Kai reasoned, before she began walking out of the bedroom. "Now come on, your Mom's lasagna is best when it's hot." With that they left for the weekly Tuesday dinner.
Meanwhile the camera on Ben's computer zoomed in as Ben walked away.
GDA Surveillance Room
Several agents were monitoring screens of the Tennyson, unbeknownst to occupants. However the camera's they had were on angle's strictly from household devices that would not look out of place. With Ben's multiple transformations he would sniff out any monitoring. So the only footage they can get is from Computer camera's, the Smart TV, their own home monitoring system, smart refrigerator and possibly their phones.
The lead agent on site pulled out a burner phone and sent a text. "Staying home for dinner." The agent sent it then smashed the phone.

Cecil recieves the message personally on his own phone, as he puts it away Donald walks in carrying an old looking file, along with a newer one. "Sir I think we have something potentially important." Donald tells his superior.
"Potentially?" Cecil questioned. "What's this about."
"It's about the kid." Donald tells him.
"Mark? So what he got his powers, I saw him take down Killcannon." Cecil scoffed.
Donald then explains. "It's about Ben sir."
"He just went to dinner." Cecil replies. "Is there something wrong with Oblitus?" He asked.
"None that I know of sir. But it's not about Oblitus." Donald then hands Cecil the newer file. "Fight Force recently took on a villian that teleports to alternate dimensions, other earth's essentially. Well when he does this brings back trace particles that indicate they traveled through dimensions and from the earth they traveled to and from, doesn't do any harm, but we can tell they're from other earth's because they vibrate at a slightly different frequencies."
"Where is this going Donald?" Cecil wanted to know.
"Of course." Donald then moves to direct Cecil's eyes to a specific analysis. "These are the villians particles that he dragged from a certain earth... (points to another part) and these are samples from the crash site during Ben's... misunderstanding with the Guardians and Omni-Man. They have the same vibration frequency. So at some point."
"This villian went to where the kid came from." Cecil deduced. "But we already knew he was from abother dimension."
"But there's something else that the lab could not detect until they realized they that the dimensional particles were mixed with Tachyons." Donald stated. "We've been under the asumptions Ben traveled through space and time, but our experts theorize he was taken through time, then accross dimensions or vice-versa." He explained.
"So that means." Cecil began, finally getting it.
"Either he is the victim of two successive accidents each on a colossal scale or someone wanted him to come to our dimension at that specific time." Donald concluded.
"Let me guess the odds of it being an accident, followed by another accident are 0." Cecil added.
"If you turn the page you'll see the calculation." Donald told him. Cecil did and saw a 0 followed by a decimal points then a steggering amount of zero's afterwards until it reach a 28.
"Well fuck me." Cecil said, before turning back to Donald. "Is that all?"
"There is one more thing." Donald answered, then handed him the older file. "To keep up with the ruse that we found the watch on the Apollo 11 mission we assigned people to comb through the old files in the old Mount Rushmore vault. And they found something."
Cecil opened the old file and read it. "Apollo 18 Astronaut Commander 'Mad' Max Tennyson disqualified from program after..." Cecil reads then his eyes widen. "Tell me this is a joke."
"I can't tell you sir." Donald stated.
"Well what can you tell me!" Cecil demanded. "Cause this here says that he was disqualified for leaking classified intel and then everything else is fucking redacted!" Waves around the report which, except for small bits, had been blacked out of any information thet would clear things up.
"I'm sorry sir, but anybody who would know is deceased, but I'm having more people comb through all recorded data, paper and electronic." Donald tries to reassure him. "We could always try-" He tries to suggest.
"No!" Cecil dismisses. "Keep searching until you find something useful." He order as he hands back the file. "Remember why we're doing this, the whole fucking world could depend on it."
Guardian of The Globe HQ
Darkwing walked in after recieving an emergency alert to come to their headquarters. He entered the meeting area by dropping down from seemingly out if nowhere and when he rose up from his crouched position The Immortal turned to him. "Darkwing, why did you call us here?"
Darkwings eyes widened in surprise, because he was NOT the one who signlaed the alert. "Me?" He said in surprise.
Soon everyone else tensed up for a fight. "So none of us signaled the alert." War Woman stated, readying her mace and looking around for any potential threat.
"Oh god what's going on?" Green Ghost said her voice clear with worry. "Is it bad?"
As Red Rush surveyed the room, something caught his eye. Without hesitation, he darted forward at full speed, heading straight for The Immortal, whose expression shifted to one of confusion at the sudden blur. Before The Immortal could react or even fully process what was happening, Red Rush shoved him out of the way—just in time to avoid a devastating fist that was aimed for his head.
The owner of that fist kept going until he flew to a stop in the middle of the room, revealing himself to the astonished gasps as. "Omni-Man?!" Immortal exclaimed in confused shock.
War Woman was the first to act, swinging her mace at Omni-Man, avoided the first swing, then the second. As he prepared to counterattack, Red Rush dashed in from his blind spot, landing a quick strike that momentarily threw him off balance.
Omni-Man's eyes darted around the room, scanning for his next move, when Darkwing hurled a couple of explosive projectiles. They detonated on contact, forcing Omni-Man to take a step back as he shielded himself from the blast.
Seizing the opportunity, Aquarus stepped forward, extending his arms and releasing a powerful torrent of water. The hydropump surged toward Omni-Man, crashing into him with enough force to stagger even the Viltrumite for a moment.
Omni-Man raised his arms to block, but the sheer force of the water pressure was immense, pushing him back slightly as it blasted against him. The powerful hydropump, strong enough to carve through stone, made it clear that Aquarus was holding nothing back. The Atlantean King's expression was stern, his focus unshakable as he continued to unleash the torrent.
For a moment, Omni-Man seemed to struggle, then, with a burst of speed, he leaped into the air, escaping the water's path entirely. His eyes locked onto Aquarus, and he barreled toward the Atlantean King, his fists clenched, ready to deliver a devastating blow.
But just as before, Red Rush came to the rescue. In a blur of motion, the speedster dashed in, grabbing Aquarus and moving him out of harm's way in the nick of time. Omni-Man's fist smashed into the ground where Aquarus had been standing, the impact sending shockwaves through the room and cracking the floor beneath him.
As Omni-Man's fist made contact with the ground, he growled internally in frustration and rose up. When he did Red Rush went in for another pot shot from Omni-Man's blindspot. Omni-Man turned to him, but he was gone and quickly came from another angle with a strike to Omni-Man's face before running off.
Omni-Man scanned the room, his eyes darting briefly before he turned his head in the opposite direction of Red Rush's approach. As Red Rush darted in to land another punch to Nolan's face, Omni-Man anticipated the move. This time, as the speedster's fist connected, the Viltrumite swiftly caught his arm as he pulled away, keeping it in an iron grip.
Red Rush gasped just as Omni-Man pulled him in and grabbed his head. Red Rush reacted by rapidly punching Omni-Man's chest at high speed just as his head was being crushed. Time seemed to be going so slow from Red Rush's persoective as even the briefest conversation with anyone seems like it is hours. His teammates tried to rush to his aid, but at their speed they were basically frozen. Red Rush kept punching and punching, even as one one of his eyeballs popped out and his hands broke. But despite managing to get blood coming from Omni-Man's mouth Red Rush continued to suffer until.
CRUNCH Splat
His skull was finally crushed. The fastest man alive had fallen, unable to escape the wrath of a force far beyond his speed.
The Guardians all had a mix reaction of shock and terror as one of their teamates was killed by someone they thought was their ally.
"No!"
"No!"
Gasps
"Noooooo!" Martian Man roared in anguish, surging toward Omni-Man from behind. He stretched his body, elongating his limbs to wrap tightly around Nolan, binding his arms and legs in place. The alien hero's grip was firm, effectively immobilizing the Viltrumite.
"Why have you done this?!" Immortal shouted, his voice filled with fury. He seized the opportunity and launched a powerful right hook directly into Omni-Man's face. The force of the punch caused Nolan to stumble to the side.
War Woman immediately followed up, swinging her mace in an upward arc that smashed into Omni-Man's jaw. The sheer impact made him stagger in the opposite direction. Omni-Man then stumbled in the other direction as War Woman tried to go in for another hit. With a grunt he pushed Martian Man off him by sheer force with an audible snap. Nolan then quickly ran War Woman, who swung her mace downwards to try and hit him, but he sidestepped out of the way and slammed her face into the ground, breaking the surface.
Omni-Man then pulled a groaning War Woman up by one of her braids, revealing blood coming down her nose. But before he could finish her off he heard the whoosh of some of Darkwing's throwing weapons. He ducked, avoiding three that were tossed in a wide horizontal arc and exploded along the wall.
As Omni-Man steadied himself, taking a couple of steps back, his piercing eyes darted across the battlefield, scanning for the next attack. A faint noise from above caught his attention. Looking up, he saw Darkwing above him and without hesitation the Mignight Menace hurled a handful of spherical pellets directly at the Viltrumite. Omni-Man instinctively raised his arms to block, bracing for an explosion. However, the pellets erupted into a thick, high-density foam that rapidly expanded, engulfing him from the torso down.
Omni-Man grunted as he struggled against the foam, his sheer strength causing cracks to form along its surface. Chunks of the hardened material began to break off, but before he could fully free himself, War Woman charged in. With a fierce battle cry, she swung her mace with all her might, smashing it into his chest and sending him flying across the room.
Nolan twisted in midair, stabilizing himself just in time for Immortal to intercept him. The leader of the Guardians tackled Omni-Man with incredible force, slamming him into the nearest wall with a thunderous crash. Immortal held him there, gripping him tightly. "Omni-Man, what's happening? Why are you doing this?!"
Nolan's expression darkened, and with a sudden surge of power, he broke Immortal's grip. He then raised his fist, ready to deliver a lethal blow, but Green Ghost intervened. She at first tried to get to Immortal, but knew she wouldn't make it in time so targeted Nolan and touched him just in time, making both herself and Omni-Man intangible.
Omni-Man's punch passed harmlessly through Immortal and the Viltrumite's attack failed to connect with anything solid, his hand passing through his target. But Omni-Man's instincts were razor-sharp. In that split second of intangibility, he turned his attention to Green Ghost, realizing she was the source of the phasing. Without hesitation, he shifted his position, his hand slicing through her intangible form with calculated precision.
Green Ghost's eyes widened in shock as the connection between them severed. Her body solidified as she fell to the ground, lifeless, the wound Nolan inflicted becoming gruesomely visible. Blood began to pool beneath her as Omni-Man stood over her, his expression cold and unrelenting. The Guardian of the Globe who could slip through any danger had finally met a force she could not escape. Green Ghost had fallen.
Again the other Guardians were shocked, but they did not have time to mourn. Martian Man again stretched his body to trap Omni-Man like before, giving Immortal a chance to throw a strong punch, causing Nolan's head to snap back. The impact was powerful enough to make the Viltrumite stagger, but his fury was unrelenting.
Like before Omni-Man used sheer force to get Martian Man off of him. Before Omni-Man could capitalize on his opening, more of Darkwing's specialized throwing weapons came hurtling toward him. They detonated on impact, creating a series of powerful explosions that rocked the room. Omni-Man staggered briefly, disoriented by the concussive force, but his recovery was swift.
As the smoke began to clear, Aquarus stepped forward, reeling back his hand/fin and with a mighty gesture, he unleashed a powerful torrential blast of water. The powerful stream roared toward Omni-Man, aiming to keep the Viltrumite pinned down. Narrowing his eyes, Omni-Man reached down and grabbed Green Ghost's lifeless body from the rubble. Without hesitation, he raised her as a shield, letting the water hammer against her corpse.
As Aquarus kept up the attack, Martian Man was able to recover and stretched his body to be next to his amphibious ally. "Are you alright?" Aquarus asked, keeping up the attack.
"I'll live." The Martian replied.
"There has to be some reason for this." Darkwing spoke.
"Someone has to be controlling him." Immortal said, helping War Woman up. "He would never do this."
"Regardless." War Woman began. "It's him or us." He pointed out.
"I choose us." Immortal replied, though he did not want to hurt or kill a fellow comrade, he knew the only chance for survival was to go at Omni-Man with everything they had.
Aquarus stopped his attack so Omni-Man dropped Green Ghost's body then felt something above him. Looking up, he saw War Woman descending, her mace raised high, ready to crush his skull. Instinct took over, and he propelled himself backward, narrowly avoiding the devastating blow. only to be tackled from the side by Immortal. The Guardian leader roared as he tackled Omni-Man, forcing him back. The impact sent both of them hurtling across the room, but Immortal had the advantage, gripping Nolan by the shoulders and driving him into the nearest wall.
With raw, unrelenting force, Immortal dragged Omni-Man across the chamber, grinding his face against the jagged stone. The friction tore at Nolan's skin, leaving behind deep scrapes and cracks in the rock surface as Immortal pushed forward, his grip tightening with furious determination.
Omni-Man gritted his teeth as Immortal kept pushing him, his face scraping painfully against the stone wall. Then with a furious growl, he twisted his body, using his sheer strength to break Immortal's grip for a split second. And in that moment Omni-Man slammed his elbow backward, driving it directly into Immortal's stomach.
"OOF." The ancient hero grunted as the impact sent a shockwave through Immortal's body, forcing the air from his lungs as his grip faltered. Nolan seized the opportunity, whirling around and delivering a crushing uppercut to Immortal's jaw, sending him flying across the room.
Before he could capitalize on the attack, however, the room suddenly erupted with gunfire.
BRRRT BRRRT BRRRT BRRRT BRRRT BRRRT BRRRT BRRRT
High-caliber rounds pelted Omni-Man from multiple angles. He barely flinched, the bullets doing little more than irritating him, but the unexpected assault made him hesitate for a brief moment. His eyes darted around, spotting the source, Darkwing, using some sort of electrical panel, had managed to activate some of the base's automated defenses, turrets firing relentlessly at the Viltrumite. Nolan then quickly began destroying the turrets in rapid succession, he then went for Darkwing but his fist only hit a hologram.
His moment of distraction was all War Woman needed. "RAAAAAH!" Letting out a fierce battle cry, she lunged forward, swinging her mace with every ounce of strength she had. The weapon connected cleanly with the side of Omni-Man's face. A sickening CRACK echoed through the chamber as Nolan's head snapped to the side. Blood sprayed from his mouth as something small and white flew through the air. It was a tooth. From one of Omni-Man's teeth.
Not wanting to let up, War Woman swung her mace a few more times, each hit however missed as Omni-Man dodged them all. Aquarus, wanting to help help his teammate, once again fired a powerful hydro pump attack at Omni-Man, hoping to throw him off and give War Woman, or anyone another opening.
At the same time however when a downward swing hit nothing but the floor, splintering it in the process, Omni-Man threw a left punch, sending War Woman across the room. Nolan then took the mace and threw it at the Atlantean who launched his attack.
The mace tore through the rushing water and slammed into Aquarus's skull with a sickening CRACK, embedding itself deep in Aquarus's head. His body goes stiff, his eyes wide in shock, with water pouring out if his hands before he collapses lifelessly to the ground. The once-mighty King of Atlantis had fallen, his blood mixing with the water that now pooled around him.
A now recovered Martian Man saw as his comrade and dear friend was killed. He then glared at Omni-Man and unleashed a defiant. "RRAAAAAAAGH!" Before again wrapping his body around Omni-Man, this time even tigher and mainly just his arms and torso.
"Grrrr." Omni-Man grunted as he tried to break free, but couldn't. First, he was weakened from all the fighting. Second, with Martian Man constricting just his arms and not his whole body, the Guardian had more grip. And third, Martian Man was fueled by both anger and grief, his determination to hold Omni-Man tighter than ever before.
This brief moment of restraint allowed Immortal to act. The Guardian of the Globe charged forward, his fists hammering into Omni-Man's already bloodied face with punishing force. Each blow landed with a sickening thud, causing Omni-Man's vision to blur.
War Woman stood a few paces back, eyes locked on the lifeless body of Aquarus, her heart heavy with sorrow. She looked down at the fallen hero, her hand trembling as she reached for her mace, still lodged in Aquarus's skull. "Sorry my firend." With a grimace, she pulled the weapon free, the sickening sound of it coming loose from the Atlantean king's head echoing through the room before she turned her attention back to Omni-Man, her face hardening with resolve.
At the same time Darkwing had been trying to either contact the GDA or anyone, but any and all communications were blocked or cut, even his own. It would take time to reach anyone and that was something he did not have. Slamming the console he was using he growled in frustration before pulling some sort of high tech flashdrive from his belt. "Time for a field test." He said, before inserting it in the consile
Meanwhile Omni-Man's body was wracked with pain, his blood spilling onto the ground as Immortal relentlessly pummeled him. But even through the pain, Nolan's resolve remained unbroken.
With sheer will Omni-Man managed to clear his blurred vision enough to see Martian Man's core. The tension in his body flared, a surge of strength rising from within. He knew if he could get to it, if he could just rip it off, Martian Man's hold on him would be broken, and he'd have a chance to fight back. He tried to reached for the core, but Immortal saw this this move and grabbed Omni-Man's right wrist with his left hand, pulling it away from the core just as Omni-Man's fingers brushed it. With his free hand, Immortal continued to hammer down blow after blow.
Omni-Man now seemed totally immobilized, but his legs were still free. As Immortal reared back his fist for another punishing blow, Omni-Man shot up and slammed his into Immortal's face. The headbutt sent the Guardian leader flying back, forcing him to stagger backwards.
With this brief reprieve Nolan reached for Martian Man's core and ripped it out. Martian Man's scream was heard as this was done. "AHHHHHHh..." And the form that Martian Man had chose to bund Nolan limply fell to the ground. With that, Martian Man, the Guardian from Mars, had fallen.
War Woman, who had already been charging back into the battle saw this. "RAAH!" She shouted as she jumped up and swung down her weapon at him. Omni-Man reacted by catching the mace, which cause the ground at his feet to crack and break a bit. Then with fast reflexes reached for her face and once again threw her down towards rhe floor. War Woman was able to put one arm down to brace the impact a little, but it was still strong enough that she needed a moment to recuperate.
A moment was all Omni-Man needed, but before he could Immortal came in and delivered a strong left hook that staggered him a bit and drew some more blood. As Immortal tried to deliver a strong right punch to follow up Omni-Man caught it and threw the Guardian leader by his arm to the nearest wall. Immortal hit it with a CRASH and before he could recover Omni-Man lunged toward him to deal him a fatal blow. But before it could land.
VREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEM
Omni-Man's face and body rippled as he was blasted to the side by some sort of sonic weapon on his left wrist. "Ahhhhh!" He groaned in pain as he covered his ears, turning he saw it was Darkwing in some sort of metal exo suit, it looked like a bulky robotic version if his normal costume. His left fist was extended as it fired rhe sonic weapon.
Before Omni-Man could go after Darkwing, War Woman came in with her mace and swung it horizontally. "Ooof!" Nolan grunted as he stumbled to the side, towards Immortal, who recovered and launched a left punch of his own.
Again Omni-Man stumbled, as he did so Darkwing threw several disk like objects at Omni-Man's chest. "Get back!" He shouted, and the other two remaining Guardians did. When they did.
BOOM! CRASH!
A huge explosion shook the room as the devices exploded with such a force that it blasted Omni-Man into the wall and shook the mountain. "What is that?" Immortal questioned.
"Experimental exo suit. Began working on it after we met Morpher. Years to make and cost a fortune, luckily I had both." Darkwing replied his tone void of any emotion except malice toward Omni-Man for what he had down to his comrades.
Foot steps were then heard from where Omni-Man was blasted towards and the remaining three Guardians got ready. Nolan stepped out the smoke casually, despite his suit ripped up in multiple place, with his face and body covered in various wounds and blood. Blood from himself and his victims. He was visibly getting tired as one can tell by his breathing, which he soon controlled and then narrowed his eyes at his opponents.
As War Woman and Immortal were about to charge Darkwing stretched his arms put to stop that. "Don't!" He urged. "You'll leave yourselves open." He informed them, knowing Omni-Man would go for the counter attack when their attacks didn't conntect, or when they went in for a second hit.
Darkwing then threw several of his throwing weapons the Viltrumite. Omni-Man flew upwards and short towards the Guardians like a rocket, causing them to scatter. War Woman and Immortal jumped to the sides, while Darkwing backflipped, so Nolan crashed only on the ground they were standing.
As Darkwing backflipped, he shot a cable to one of the lights, then fired another directly at Omni-Man's chest. Before Nolan could rip it off, Darkwing pressed a button on his suit's waist, causing the lights and electrical panels to flicker as power surged through the line. Omni-Man was electrocuted with enough energy to power a small city.
"Grrrrr." Nolan grunted, his body tensing from the electricity. But within seconds, he ripped the cable off, steam rising from his skin. As he did, War Woman charged in from the side, her mace swinging for another strike. Omni-Man caught it mid-swing, then used his strength to fling her into Immortal, who was rushing in from the opposite direction. They slammed into the wall with a thunderous crash, debris crumbling down on top of them.
Omni-Man then turned to Darkwing, just in time to block a couple more explosive throwing weapons. The ally turned traitor then rushed at Darkwing, who again fired the sonic weapon at Omni-Man with a.
VREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEM
Omni-Man grunted as the impact briefly halted him, but he pressed forward, blood trickling from his nose. Closing the distance, he slashed through the sonic weapon with his right hand before reaching for Darkwing's head with his left. As his fingers clamped onto the exo-suit's helmet, Darkwing quickly hit the release and ducked away just in time, leaving the helmet to be crushed like a soda can in Omni-Man's grip.
Darkwing swiftly grabbed a small sphere from his belt and hurled it at Omni-Man's face. Upon impact, it burst into a swirling green smoke, forcing Omni-Man to cough and stagger backward while grabbing his throat. Darkwing sprinted toward Omni-Man, taking advantage of his temporarily blurred vision. He landed a series of punches to Omni-Man's face, and with the suit's enhanced strength, they actually seemed to have an effect.
Omni-Man reeled from the hit before swinging a powerful right-handed punch, but Darkwing dodged effortlessly and used his momentum to execute a judo flip. Omni-Man tumbled but quickly recovered, charging forward with a forceful downward strike from his left hand. Darkwing sidestepped to his left, deflecting the punch with a sharp left handed karate chop before snapping a quick right jab to Omni-Man's face. As Omni-Man staggered, Darkwing used his body as a springboard, running up his chest and landing a sharp kick to his face before flipping backward. While still airborne, he flung several explosive throwing weapons, which detonated on impact, forcing Omni-Man to stumble back even further.
Darkwing landed and sprinted toward Omni-Man, hurling two more explosive weapons at him. Meanwhile, War Woman and the Immortal were nearly free from the debris that had buried them. Omni-Man raised his arms to shield himself from the blasts just as Darkwing launched into a corkscrew flip, aiming a powerful kick at his face.
But by then, Nolan's vision had cleared. Seeing the attack coming, he swiftly caught Darkwing's ankle and, with brutal force, slammed him face-first into the ground. Without his helmet, the impact grotesquely disfigured his face, leaving him completely limp. Darkwing could only groan incoherently before Omni-Man, without hesitation, flung him the other way. His skull shattered on impact, his brain matter splattering across the floor and his life snuffed out in an instant.
With that, Darkwing, the Planet's Premier Sleuth, was dead.
As Darkwing's lifeless body hit the ground, War Woman and the Immortal finally freed themselves from the debris. Fury burned in their eyes as they charged at Omni-Man, determined to put him down and avenge their fallen comrades.
War Woman leaped into the air, swinging her mace down with all her strength. Omni-Man caught it mid-swing, his muscles straining against her might. But the brief distraction was all Immortal needed—seizing the opening, he lunged forward, ready to land a devastating blow.
Immortal's fist crashed into Omni-Man's jaw with enough force to send shockwaves through the air. The impact snapped Nolan's head to the side, but he quickly recovered, his eyes narrowing as he released War Woman's mace and retaliated with a brutal punch to Immortal's gut. The blow sent Immortal skidding backward, but he dug his heels into the ground, refusing to go down so easily.
War Woman took advantage of the moment, swinging her mace in a wide arc. This time, she struck true—her weapon slammed into Omni-Man's ribs with a loud CRACK. He grunted, but before she could follow up, he grabbed the handle of the mace and yanked her forward, driving his forehead into her nose with a sickening crunch.
She staggered back, blood dripping down her face, but Immortal was already on him again, delivering a rapid series of punches to his chest and face. Each strike was fueled by rage, by vengeance—but Omni-Man absorbed them, his expression darkening. With a roar, he caught both of Immortal's fists mid-swing and threw the Guardian leader to a wall, making a crater.
War Woman wiped the blood from her nose, her grip tightening around her mace. They couldn't stop—not now. With a fierce battle cry, she lunged at Omni-Man once more, determined to make him pay.
This time, her swing connected perfectly. The mace crashed into Omni-Man's jaw with devastating force, sending him hurtling upward. His body slammed into the chamber wall several meters above, making a crater. For a brief moment, he was stunned, embedded in the shattered surface, as some dust and debris fell down around him.
But War Woman wasn't finished. She leaped straight up toward him, her mace raised for another crushing blow.
Omni-Man, however, was ready. The moment she got close, he lunged forward with terrifying speed, his hand wrapping around her throat and before she could react, he twisted her neck a full 180 degrees. A sickening crack echoed through the chamber as her body seized up, blood gushing from her mouth and staining her cape. Her weapon slipped from her grasp, clattering as it hit the floor. She was dead before she even hit the ground.
With that War Woman, the world's Fiercest Amazon, had also fallen.
Omni-Man landed heavily, his body aching, his breath ragged. The battle had taken its toll, more than he'd expected it to, he was exhausted, bruised, and bleeding. He barely managed to stagger upright before Immortal was on him like stink on a dump, fists flying in a relentless assault.
Blow after blow rained down, each strike heavier than the last, forcing Omni-Man onto the defensive. His arms barely kept up, struggling to block as Immortal drove him back with relentless fury.
Between his furious attacks, Immortal's voice rang out, filled with raw emotion—rage, grief, betrayal. "Why'd you do this?! Why?! Why?! WHY?!!!!!!"
Omni-Man barely managed to block, his arms growing heavier with each blow. Immortal drove him back, forcing him into a corner, his fury giving him the strength of a man who refused to fall. Seeing his chance, Immortal reared back for a finishing strike, ready to end this once and for all.
But in the blink of an eye, Nolan moved. Summoning the last reserves of his strength, he weaved out of the way just in time. In one swift, ruthless motion, he turned and swung his hand with his fingers outstretched, slicing Immortal's head clean off.
For a second, the body remained upright, as if refusing to accept what had just happened. Then, slowly, it collapsed, Immortal's head rolling lifelessly across the chamber floor.
With that the Immortal, the leader of the Guardians of The Globe who had been serving mankind for centuries, be it a Celtic Warrior, a Knight at King Arthur's Round Table, President of the United States Abraham Lincoln and a Superhero, was the last one to fall.
Omni-Man stood amidst the carnage, his chest rising and falling in labored breaths. His gaze lingered on Immortal's lifeless body before shifting around the blood-soaked chamber. The corpses of the Guardians surrounded him—Red Rush, Green Ghost, Aquarus, Martian Man, Darkwing, and War Woman. Each one had fought with everything they had, but in the end, they all lay dead at his hands.
The weight of it all pressed down on him, his body battered and broken. He took a few unsteady steps forward, the room spinning, his vision blurring. His knees buckled, his strength finally giving out.
With that, Omni-Man collapsed, unconscious, surrounded by the fallen heroes he had slaughtered.
And with that, Chapter 1 begins! The previous chapter was just a prologue, and I hope you all enjoyed it. A huge thanks to my co-writer, Star Saber21, for his help—he was the one who suggested having Mark briefly fight Eatle instead of Titan.
I also hope you liked the battle between Omni-Man and the Guardians of the Globe. Since they had previously fought Ben and were nearly defeated, I figured they would have trained harder to prepare for threats of that magnitude. Plus, I wanted a big, intense fight, and I didn't think it was the right time to have Ben and Mark team up just yet.
Stay tuned for more, not sure when, but the next chapter I write will be for Omni-Boys Season 2, still the same story. Take care.
