"What am I looking at?" I spoke

"Hey bro, can you help me out here?" said the underwear man

"And why should I?"

"C'mon man, I'm feeling all the blood going straight into my head."

I sighed and shot the rope, and the underwear man fell to the ground.

"Ouch, that could've been a lot worse."

Then I noticed a crate on top of a pile of cars behind the underwear man. Climbing up, I opened it up to find two SMGs. One was a black boxy-looking gun, and the other was a camo SMG with a laser sight. Then my echo showed me what type of gun. The boxy one was Tediore, and the other one was Dahl.

I grabbed both guns and climbed down from the pile of cars.

"So, who are you and why did the COV hang you upside down?" I asked

"I'm Vaughn and I'm the leader of Sun Smashers and the COV didn't hang me upside down; it was my own raiders."

"Why?"

"I told them to get rid of a Vault key. But they wouldn't listen, and they are taking it to the Calypso Twins."

"Damn, I have to get back to Lilith with this."

"Lilith the Fire hawk? Are you with the Crimson Raider?"

"Yes."

"Great, I haven't seen her since the whole Hector ordeal. Let me come with you."

I would say no, but he could be useful. Plus, even if he tried to do anything funny, I could just shoot him in the head.

"You can come along," I said

"Great," said Vaughn

"But I'm not giving you a gun."

"That's fine with me, bro. I got my abs to protect me."

I'm already regretting this.

"So, where's Lilith?"

"At the COV propaganda center. That we took over."

"I know, a shortcut to it."

I follow Vaughn out of his former raider boss base, back to the temporary raider base. Then Vaughn asked me.

"So how did you guys take over the COV propaganda center?"

"I did most of the work; it wasn't too hard."

"Impressive. Let's hope that doesn't get the Calypso Twins' attention."

"Please, I handle my fair share of psychos and scumbags. I think I can handle those two."

"Then you really don't know the twins. They are something else and this is from a guy who saw a vault monster."

"A what?"

"Hey, shortcut coming up."

We jumped down some ledges and stopped. Below us was a large pool of water and those strange dogs from earlier coming out of small caves.

"Wow, skag central down there. Mind taking them out since I don't have a gun, you know."

"What about your abs?"

"My abs can handle it; I'm worried about getting a skag barf on my underwear. They don't wash easily."

"Ending this conversation."

I threw a grenade down there, killing a chunk of them. Dropping down to the bottom of the shortcut, then more came out of the holes or came into the cave. I tried my new SMG on these skags. It was a lot better than my old SMG. I killed all the skags that came at me, and then a large skag with electricity power came out. I quickly got out of the water.

The SMG ran out of ammo; a message on the gun said, 'throw me.' I didn't have time to think as the skag shot lighting balls at me. Throwing the gun, it became a cluster of bombs, and it came straight toward the skag, blowing it up, and then the gun reappeared in my hand.

Yeah, these guns are way different than the ones in the Mojave. Vaughn jumped with all the skag's dead.

"Wow, impressive. I never actually got your name."

"Wyatt or Courier 6."

"Why Courier 6?"

"It was a name I used to go by."

Vaughn and I go back to command central, with Claptrap all over the place looking for something. We got to Lilith, who was turning on the radio.

"Wyatt, you're back. Got the key?" said Lilith

"No, but I got this guy who says he knows you?"

Lilith looked at Vaughn, her face looked shock. "Vaughn? Is that you?"

"Yeah, Lilith, it's me. I know I've been working out and was a war chief a few hours ago."

"Uh, sure, let's go with that. Why are you here?"

"Wyatt told me that you were looking for the Vault key. My clan has the key."

"What happened?"

"They ditch him and taking it to the Calypsos twins," I said

"What, where?"

"I heard my deputy or former deputy war chief talk about getting it over to the Holy Broadcast Center for Calypso's daily murder-sermon."

"Then we have no time to lose; we can't let them get it, but the broadcast center is a long drive."

"I usually find a few ways to get somewhere quick," I said

"I've gotten something better; head to my friend Ellie. She runs the catch-a-ride, and she'll get you some wheels."

"Driving that would be new. Alright, I'll head over to your friend."

I walked out of the room. The Calypsos twins, the more I hear about them and the vaults. Gives me the creeps, and I know my brain was screaming at me that this vault hunting was over my head. It was probably right.
