As Naruto dispatched his clones to explore the family compound, he made his way toward the largest structure, assuming it was the main house. While walking through the compound, he noticed that all the buildings were adorned with seals. He surmised that these seals served to preserve the buildings, among other purposes.
Upon reaching the main house, he saw a seal on the entrance similar to the one on the main gate. Channeling his chakra into it, he heard the door unlock. As he opened the door, it automatically locked behind him.
Naruto's eyes widened in awe at the sheer size of the interior. The first floor featured a massive living room with elegant, comfortable furniture and a huge television mounted on the wall. The kitchen, too, was enormous, boasting a modern stove with an oven, a microwave, and a large dining area. He walked over to the colossal fridge and opened it, surprised to find fresh food inside. 'How is this possible?' he wondered. 'This food must be years old, yet it's still fresh.' Then he noticed seals lining the fridge and the food packaging. 'These must be seals to preserve food for extended periods,' he deduced.
Checking the cabinets and pantries, he found all sorts of snacks and other food items. 'Well, at least I won't go hungry,' he thought with a grin. The ground floor also housed two bathrooms and two fully furnished guest rooms.
After exploring the ground floor, Naruto ascended to the second floor. There he found the master bedroom. Stepping inside, he marveled at the largest bed he had ever seen. Another television was mounted on the wall opposite the bed. The room also boasted a huge walk-in closet and a private bathroom. Exiting the master bedroom, he discovered two other bedrooms, smaller than the master suite but still spacious, each with its own bathroom and walk-in closet.
Naruto then climbed to the third and final floor, where a massive, seal-laden door greeted him. Channeling his chakra, he opened the door. The sight before him was astounding. Inside was a colossal library, filled with countless shelves of books and scrolls on a vast array of topics. On the other side of the room was an armory, stocked with every weapon imaginable. Noticing a side door in the armory, curiosity piqued, Naruto opened it. He found himself in what appeared to be a forge, a place for smithing weapons. Excitement coursed through Naruto. This place had everything he needed. The library even had a private office for him to study in.
Naruto entered the private study, ready to delve into the Uzumaki scroll. With a deep breath, he unfurled the scroll, revealing two kanji characters. One labeled "Uzumaki History," the other "Uzumaki Bloodline," both penned by his mother. He channeled chakra into the history kanji, and with a poof of smoke, another scroll materialized. He immediately immersed himself in his clan's history.
After two hours of reading, Naruto was in tears. He learned that his clan had been massacred because other villages feared their strength. He was overcome with sadness and anger. His clan had remained neutral in conflicts, a peaceful people. They didn't deserve such a fate. He gritted his teeth, resentment building toward the villages that had annihilated his clan. But Naruto also felt a surge of awe. His clan had been able to fend off three entire nations single-handedly. He became determined not only to live up to the Uzumaki name but to restore his clan to even greater strength than before.
With newfound resolve, he opened the bloodline scroll. It described the chakra forging bloodline, which allowed Uzumaki to shape their chakra into solid objects. The default form of this bloodline manifested as chakra chains. But as he continued reading, he discovered that his clan had been able to create a variety of weapons, including staffs, swords, knives, and even shields. The more creative Uzumaki had crafted chakra armor, extra arms, and some had even created chakra wings to fly. It seemed the only limit was their imagination. His bloodline was incredibly versatile. He decided to master the default chain form before experimenting with other creations.
Suddenly, Naruto was bombarded with an influx of memories from his dispelled clones. He saw multiple training grounds, a variety of parks, stores, and restaurants. His compound was like a small, self-sufficient city. After sorting through his memories, he realized how late it was. He decided to shower and go straight to sleep. Starting tomorrow, he was going to take his training to the next level.
It was bright and early when Naruto was alerted to the presence of two visitors outside his compound gate. After dressing, he went to greet his guests. Arriving at the gate, he channeled chakra to unlock it. He was greeted by the Hokage, Hiruzen Sarutobi, and a young man with striking white hair and a face mask covering the lower half of his face.
"Morning, old man," Naruto greeted Hiruzen cheerfully.
"Hello, Naruto," Hiruzen responded kindly. "How do you like your compound?"
"It's amazing!" Naruto exclaimed, his eyes sparkling with excitement. "It's so huge I had to create clones to explore it all. It's like I have my own small city."
Hiruzen smiled in response. "I'd like you to meet Kakashi, one of my most skilled ninja."
Naruto bowed formally. "Nice to meet you, Kakashi."
Kakashi waved him off. "No need for formalities. I was close with your parents."
Naruto's eyes widened in surprise. "I guess that makes us family then, huh?"
"Hmm, I guess you're right," Kakashi replied with a subtle smile.
Overcome with emotion, Naruto rushed to hug Kakashi tightly around the waist. He had never experienced the warmth of family, and this unexpected connection filled him with joy. Kakashi, seeing his sensei's son embrace him, felt a surge of emotion as well and returned the hug. Hiruzen watched with a heart swelling with warmth. It seemed he had made the right choice. They both needed each other.
But duty called, and Hiruzen had to interrupt. "Kakashi here is going to be helping with your training until you graduate from the Academy, which starts in two months. He'll also be protecting you. Your Uzumaki name paints a large target on your back."
Naruto understood. After reading about his clan, he knew their power was both revered and feared. He also recognized that he would eventually need guidance with his training. He was fine with this arrangement.
With that, Hiruzen departed for his office, leaving Naruto and Kakashi alone.
"Well, I'm hungry," Naruto announced. "Wanna come with me to Ichiraku's?"
"Lead the way," Kakashi responded.
Before leaving, Naruto created 100 clones and ordered them to go to the library and read up on anything they thought might be useful. Seeing this, Kakashi was astonished. 'To be able to create that many clones at his age… and he's not even winded,' he thought to himself.
"Okay, let's go," Naruto said, and with that, they headed to the ramen shop.
Kakashi noticed the glares and nasty words aimed at Naruto. 'How could they treat a child like this?' he thought, clenching his fist in anger. 'Don't they know he's the one saving their miserable lives?'
Naruto sensed Kakashi's anger. "It's fine, Kakashi," he said. "I've been dealing with this for as long as I can remember. I'm used to it."
Hearing that didn't ease Kakashi's anger at all.
After ten minutes, they finally arrived at Ichiraku's. Ayame, the owner's daughter, immediately noticed Naruto and rushed to him, glomping him in a hug.
"Whiskers!" she yelled excitedly. "I missed you! Where have you been?" Ayame was an 11-year-old girl with brown hair in a ponytail and a pretty face. She and her father ran this small ramen stand. They were always kind to him and even gave him free ramen when he couldn't afford it.
"I'm sorry, Ayame," Naruto answered. "I've been focused on training. I'll be sure to stop by more often."
"You better!" she exclaimed. "It's boring around here without you."
Teuchi, Ayame's father, appeared from the back. "Well, well, if it isn't our best customer! How ya been, kid?"
"I'll be better once I get my dose of your godly ramen," Naruto joked.
"Haha, you want the usual?" Teuchi asked, already knowing the answer. Naruto nodded. Teuchi then turned to Kakashi. "And you, Kakashi?"
"Just give me whatever Naruto has," Kakashi replied while reading an orange book.
"Two extra-large pork ramen bowls coming up!" Teuchi announced, disappearing into the back kitchen to prepare the food, leaving Ayame to converse with Naruto. Ever since meeting Naruto, she couldn't stop gushing to her father about how cute he was. She was saddened that he had to live such a difficult life, but she admired his mental strength and kindness. It took a special type of person to endure such hardship and still retain their compassion.
Ten minutes later, Teuchi arrived with two enormous bowls of pork ramen. "Enjoy, fellas!"
Naruto obliterated his bowl in record time, immediately asking for seconds. He looked over to see Kakashi's bowl already empty, his mask not having moved an inch. 'Was he a wizard?' Naruto wondered.
After eating ten bowls to everyone's surprise, Naruto finally called it quits. Kakashi knew that because of Naruto's potent chakra saturating his entire body, his bodily functions were naturally enhanced, including his metabolism. He needed a lot of calories to maintain his enhanced functions.
After finishing, Naruto placed a huge wad of cash on the counter. Teuchi looked confused. "Naruto, this is way too much," he said.
"Don't worry about it, old man," Naruto replied. "After claiming my inheritance, I'm pretty loaded now. Look at this as thanks for feeding me when I had no money."
Teuchi accepted it with gratitude. Naruto then hugged Ayame goodbye before leaving with Kakashi.
As they walked back to the compound, Naruto asked, "So, how do you plan on training me?"
Kakashi responded, "Well, before I answer that, I want to spar with you and see your current regimen."
Naruto nodded, understanding the logic behind Kakashi's request. Once they arrived back at Naruto's home, he led Kakashi straight to a training ground. As Naruto stretched, preparing for the spar, he asked, "What are the rules?"
"Just come at me with the intent to kill," Kakashi replied. "Hold nothing back."
A feral grin spread across Naruto's face at the challenge.
Naruto released his gravity seals and became a blur as he rushed Kakashi. He aimed a punch at Kakashi's midsection, which the Jonin effortlessly blocked, countering with a lightning-fast kick. Naruto ducked under the kick while simultaneously sweeping his leg at Kakashi's ankles. Kakashi, ever agile, leaped over Naruto's leg and landed behind him, grabbing his shirt collar. With a display of effortless strength, Kakashi hurled Naruto across the clearing.
Naruto flipped in the air and landed on his feet with a mischievous smirk. Kakashi, momentarily confused by the smirk, glanced down to see a seal on the ground glowing ominously.
BOOOOM!
The seal erupted in a large explosion that shook the ground. Naruto knew it wouldn't be that easy to catch Kakashi off guard. Suddenly, he felt a hand clamp around his ankle. Confused, he looked down to see a hand emerge from the ground, yanking him downwards. In an instant, he was buried underground, with only his head exposed.
Kakashi emerged from the ground beside him. "You should always expect enemies to be in unexpected places," he lectured.
Naruto only smiled before poofing away in a cloud of smoke. Kakashi raised an eyebrow. "A shadow clone… but when?"
Before he could ponder further, dozens of kunai and shuriken rained down on him from the surrounding trees. With lightning reflexes, Kakashi performed a substitution jutsu, replacing himself with a log. He reappeared a few meters away, just as fifty Naruto clones emerged from the trees and charged.
With the elegance of an elite jonin, Kakashi engaged the clones, taking them out one by one using taijutsu and the occasional well-aimed kunai. But he noticed that the more clones he defeated, the more skilled the remaining ones became.
Unbeknownst to Kakashi, the real Naruto was observing the fight from the trees, analyzing Kakashi's every move. Once the last clone was destroyed, Naruto appeared in front of Kakashi with blinding speed, engaging him in close-quarters taijutsu. They traded blows back and forth, each strike met with a skillful counter. Kakashi realized that Naruto was fighting with increased precision and skill. It clicked – Naruto was using the experience of his clones to study Kakashi's fighting style in real-time.
Kakashi was impressed. Naruto was a true battle genius, just as he expected from a child born from such legendary parents.
Naruto threw a powerful kick aimed at Kakashi's front leg. Kakashi absorbed the impact and retaliated with a side kick to Naruto's head. Naruto rolled under Kakashi's legs, getting behind him, and attempted a back elbow to Kakashi's lower spine. Kakashi spun, intercepting the blow and catching Naruto's arm.
In a fluid motion, Naruto, with his elbow still caught, leaped into the air, attempting a flying triangle choke. Knowing Kakashi was strong enough to hold him, Naruto used his free hand to place a gravity seal on Kakashi, causing him to plummet to the ground with Naruto on top.
Naruto tightened his legs around Kakashi's neck, trying to choke him out. Kakashi channeled chakra to break the gravity seal before lifting Naruto and tossing him away. Caught off guard, Naruto rolled a few times before regaining his balance. He charged again, aiming a sidekick at the same spot on Kakashi's thigh.
Kakashi tanked the blow and countered with a front kick, sending Naruto flying backward. He then launched a volley of dulled shuriken at Naruto, who flipped and weaved through them before throwing his own shuriken. Kakashi caught them effortlessly and threw them back. Naruto, again, evaded the projectiles with acrobatic flips.
"Dammit, he's too good," Naruto thought. "I guess I have no choice."
Naruto concentrated, and four purple chakra chains erupted from his back, lashing out at Kakashi like vipers. Kakashi ducked, weaved, and flipped to avoid the chains, knowing that if he was caught, it would be over. It had been a long time since a mere child had pushed him this far.
Naruto retracted the chains, coiling them around him like serpents protecting their master. Suddenly, a second Kakashi appeared behind Naruto. The chains immediately impaled him, revealing it to be a lightning style shadow clone.
Kakashi analyzed the situation. "It almost seems like those chains have a mind of their own," he thought. "But that's not the case. Naruto is subconsciously using those chains in tandem with his sensory abilities. So any attack he can see or sense, his chains will instinctively defend against. Fascinating!"
With that realization, Kakashi performed a basic fire jutsu. "Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu!"
A medium-sized fireball hurtled towards Naruto. Reacting instantly, Naruto used his chains to block the fire. The chains absorbed the chakra from the jutsu, adding it to Naruto's reserves. Naruto, surprised by this unexpected ability, exclaimed, "That was interesting!"
He then rushed Kakashi, fighting in sync with his chains, which moved with an almost precognitive awareness. Kakashi drew two kunai to block the chains, the metal clanging against the chakra constructs. Naruto jumped back towards a tree.
"I can tell he has no real control over those chains yet," Kakashi observed. "He's just instinctively reacting."
Kakashi took advantage of this, vanishing in a burst of speed. He reappeared behind Naruto, aiming a kick to knock him out. As he anticipated, the chains reacted autonomously, blocking the kick. Seeing this, Kakashi swiftly took out four kunai and pinned the chains to the ground.
Not expecting this, Naruto lost his balance, allowing Kakashi to place a kunai to his throat. Recognizing defeat, Naruto sighed in exhaustion.
"Well, that was certainly something," Kakashi said, retracting his kunai. "You're definitely strong, Naruto. But I can tell you are self-trained. Some of your moves, while good in theory, are unrefined. Your taijutsu, while very solid, could use the guidance of a more experienced ninja. You could also expand your ninjutsu arsenal. And we need to work more on your bloodline."
Kakashi paused, a hint of pride in his voice. "With that said, you are the strongest kid your age I've ever seen. I'd say you are easily chunin level in overall strength."
Kakashi was genuinely proud of how far Naruto had come on his own. But it was now time to take him to the next level.
Two months had passed since Naruto's spar with Kakashi, and his training had been relentless. He continued his rigorous calisthenics routine, steadily increasing the intensity of his gravity seals. He still ran laps around the village, occasionally joined by a kid with bushy eyebrows – Rock Lee.
Kakashi focused on refining Naruto's taijutsu. He would spar with multiple shadow clones simultaneously, meticulously analyzing and correcting his form. Then, he would engage a single clone in a taijutsu match focused purely on grappling, honing Naruto's throws and joint locks. While Naruto's throws and locks improved dramatically, he still wasn't quite strong enough to execute slams effectively.
His ninjutsu arsenal expanded as well. Naruto mastered several non-elemental jutsu, including various shadow clone variants like the shuriken shadow clone jutsu, the kunai shadow clone jutsu, and the exploding shadow clone jutsu. He also learned the basic academy jutsu – transformation and substitution – and Kakashi taught him the body flicker jutsu. Kakashi decided to wait until Naruto's elemental affinities were determined before teaching him elemental jutsu.
Naruto's clones continued their diligent studies in the library, delving into various subjects including medical ninjutsu and procedures, poisonous and healing plants, blacksmithing, art, battle strategies, interrogation techniques, and anything else they believed could contribute to becoming a stronger ninja.
Naruto's fuinjutsu skills progressed rapidly, reaching a level 5 practitioner level. He invented several new and useful seals. One was what he called an "enhanced bandage," a small, bandage-sized strip that instantly healed minor cuts and bruises when applied. Anyone could use them; simply stick it on the injured area, and it would automatically release healing chakra, glowing red when the healing was complete. Naruto wanted to make these available to the public but knew that no store would partner with him due to the prejudice against him.
Another seal he created was the "anti-rape seal." After reading a book about kunoichi, he learned that they were often sent on seduction missions to gather information, which sometimes led to them being taken advantage of. Naruto spent days devising a solution, eventually creating a seal that, when placed on a kunoichi's pelvis, could sense lustful intent. If someone tried to assault the kunoichi, the seal would activate, permanently rendering the offender incapable of sexual assault.
Naruto showed his inventions to the Hokage, who was astonished by Naruto's advanced fuinjutsu skills. Hiruzen, recognizing Naruto's talent, knew just the right person to help him distribute his seals.
But the area where Naruto improved the most was his bloodline. He now wielded his chakra chains with the fluidity and precision of extra limbs, able to create as many as he wanted from any part of his body. They were strong enough to rip trees from the ground, and he could command them to suppress or absorb chakra. He could also alter their thickness and shape, making the links smooth or spiky, and even found a way to channel fuinjutsu through them. He loved his bloodline; it was versatile and powerful. It was almost time to try creating other constructs from his chakra.
Under Kakashi's guidance, Naruto had progressed faster than ever before. Now, he was on his way to the Flying Dragon Shinobi Only Store, a place Hiruzen recommended for selling his seals.
He reached the store, its display windows showcasing various weapons and shinobi equipment. Stepping inside, he approached the front counter, where he saw a girl about a year older than him, dressed in Chinese-style clothing. She had warm brown eyes and her hair styled in twin buns. Naruto found her pretty. She was engrossed in a magazine about weapons.
"Excuse me," Naruto said, getting her attention.
She jumped slightly and looked up, blushing as she saw Naruto. He was a little shorter than her, with crimson hair streaked with blond, the most intense purple eyes she had ever seen, and adorable whisker marks on his cheeks. He wore a slightly open black yukata shirt with red swirls on the sleeves, baggy hakama pants tied at his waist with a red obi belt, and his forearms and shins were wrapped in red bandages. He was, in her opinion, a real cutie.
"How can I help you?" she asked, still blushing.
Naruto, oblivious to her flustered state, replied, "My name is Naruto. Can I speak to the owner, please?"
"My name is Tenten," she said. "Sure, he's my dad. I'll go get him."
She ran to the back, and a minute later, a large, muscular man with a shaved head and dark beard approached. He wore a smithing uniform with thick leather gloves and steel-toe boots, and a black leather apron.
"My name's Rei. How can I help you, kid?" he asked. He knew exactly who Naruto was, as his parents had often frequented his shop to have weapons made or repaired. In fact, he was the one who designed and crafted Minato's legendary three-pronged kunai.
"I have a proposition, if you'd hear me out," Naruto said.
Rei's interest was immediately piqued. "I'm listening."
Naruto explained the seals he had invented and expressed his desire to sell them in Rei's shop. Rei knew he couldn't let this opportunity slip away. To think that Naruto was already this skilled at fuinjutsu!
"I'd like to modify your offer," Naruto continued. "I'll provide these seals for free and let you keep all the commission if you allow me to become your smithing apprentice."
Rei was taken aback. All he had to do was teach Naruto how to make weapons? This was almost too good to be true. He knew these seals would be incredibly lucrative. Tenten was equally astonished. A kid younger than her was already smart enough to invent such useful seals? Who the hell was this kid?
"You have a deal, kid," Rei said, extending his hand.
Naruto nodded and unsealed a scroll from his palm. "This scroll contains a thousand of each seal I explained. I also added in my enhanced explosive tags and flashbang tags."
"Damn, this kid came prepared," Rei thought, impressed. He grabbed the scroll. "Be here tomorrow, 8 am sharp."
Naruto nodded and left. Rei watched him go, thinking, "Interesting kid."
Naruto walked home, reflecting on his recent progress. "Looks like picking up art has really helped my creativity," he thought. Not only had it enhanced his ability to invent new fuinjutsu, but it also improved his calligraphy. His sealing formulas now resembled intricate works of art rather than just random kanji.
Naruto had chosen painting and carving as his main art forms. Carving, in particular, proved beneficial for etching fuinjutsu onto solid objects, using senbon to precisely carve seals.
Arriving home, he began preparing dinner. He had studied cooking and nutrition from books written by the Akimichi clan, becoming a decent cook with knowledge of well-balanced diets. For dinner, he made chicken fried rice, packed with plenty of chicken and vegetables. He made extra for lunch at the Academy tomorrow, sealing the leftovers in a preservation scroll to keep it fresh and hot.
After dinner, he showered and laid out his clothes for the morning, feeling a flutter of nerves about his first day at the Academy. He had limited experience interacting with kids his age and hoped to avoid any awkward situations. With that thought, he drifted off to sleep.
The next morning, his alarm clock jolted him awake. He went through his hygiene routine and dressed in the same outfit as the day before. For breakfast, he ate a bowl of high-protein cereal from an Akimichi grocery store. After finishing, he created a clone to go to Rei's shop while he headed to the Academy.
As he walked, he saw other children and their parents going in the same direction. He wished Kakashi could be there, but his jonin sensei was away on a long-term mission. He noticed various clan heads walking with their children. Reaching the Academy entrance, he heard parents warn their children about him, telling them to stay away. The clan heads, however, looked at him with sadness, remembering their friend's son and the hardships he faced. They planned to greet him after orientation.
Naruto found the correct classroom and entered, taking a spot in the back row, alone. A few minutes later, the Hokage arrived, greeting everyone and delivering a motivational speech about the Will of Fire. After his speech, he bowed and left, along with the parents.
"Well, take your seats," their teacher instructed. He was a young man with tanned skin, a scar over his nose, and his hair tied in a ponytail – Iruka Umino.
All the students found seats, with Naruto remaining in the back. It was clear that most of the students were avoiding him. The clan heirs noticed this but remained silent.
"Now, when I call your name, stand up and say 'here'," Iruka-sensei announced.
Naruto heard his name and stood up. "Here, sensei."
All the kids looked at him, the girls blushing as they got a clearer look. Naruto sat back down.
After roll call, he realized he was in the same class as all the major clan heirs: Choji Akimichi, a chubby kid with swirls on his cheeks and orange hair, currently munching on a bag of chips; Shino Aburame, with short black hair and dark glasses; Shikamaru Nara, currently asleep, sporting a spiky ponytail; Kiba Inuzuka, a feral-looking kid with brown hair and red facial markings, a white puppy perched on his head; Hinata Hyuuga, a timid-looking girl with short dark blue hair and pale eyes; Ino Yamanaka, a girl with blonde hair and pale blue eyes; and lastly, beside him, Sasuki Uchiha, with dark hair tied in a ponytail and black eyes. She wore a short blue top with mid-thigh white shorts and black bandages wrapped around her arms and legs.
"This will be interesting," Naruto thought.
Unbeknownst to him, both Ino and Sasuke were observing him with interest, for different reasons. Ino simply thought he was cute. Sasuke was curious; she swore she had heard the Uzumaki name before but couldn't place it. She also couldn't deny that he was cute.
Their observations were interrupted by Iruka-sensei passing out tests. He explained that this orientation test was to assess their current skill level. When Naruto received his test, he was surprised by how easy the questions were. He was the first to finish and turned it in, much to Iruka's surprise. After an hour, everyone had completed the test.
Iruka-sensei then led them to the target practice area to test their accuracy. He handed out shuriken and kunai, but when he got to Naruto, the boy refused. "No need, I have my own."
Although he saw no weapon pouch, Iruka took his word for it, curious to see what he would do. He graded the students one by one. The civilian students performed poorly, as expected. The clan heirs ranged from mediocre to pretty good, with Sasuki having the best score so far.
Naruto was last. He walked to the target area and unsealed four shuriken in his left hand and four kunai in his right. The students and teachers were surprised. "A first-year student knows fuinjutsu already?" the teachers wondered. The students thought they had witnessed magic. Sasuke studied Naruto with even greater intensity.
With a flick of his wrists, Naruto threw all eight weapons simultaneously. All of them hit the bullseye at the same time with a loud thud. The teachers were astonished. Was this the prodigy of this generation? The girls in the class squealed with excitement, completely disregarding their parents' warnings about him. Sasuke was equally surprised. "He's just like Itaia… Just who is he?" she wondered.
Naruto looked bashful, unused to such attention. He resealed his weapons and returned to his place in line.
They were then led to the last area: the sparring circle. Iruka-sensei would pair students to spar and gauge their hand-to-hand combat skills. Naruto was paired with Kiba. Both got into their stances.
"Begin!" Iruka-sensei announced.
Kiba rushed Naruto, attempting a wild claw swipe. Naruto dodged effortlessly, countering with an elbow to Kiba's cheek. Seeing him stunned, Naruto followed up with a jumping back kick, sending Kiba flying out of the circle.
"Ring out! Naruto is the winner!" Iruka-sensei declared.
Naruto was surprised by how easy that was. The students and teachers were stunned once again. Everyone knew that the Inuzuka clan was renowned for their taijutsu. To see one of their own defeated so effortlessly in two hits was shocking.
"Did you see that?" "Wow, he's so amazing!" Naruto heard the students whispering about him. He was embarrassed by the unexpected attention.
It was on this day that the Naruto fan club was founded by Ino herself.
After orientation, the students were picked up by their parents. As Naruto was leaving, he was approached by all the clan heads and their children. They greeted him warmly, shaking his hand and introducing themselves. He asked how they knew him, and they explained that they were all friends of his parents, with Tsume and Mikoto being his mother's best friends, and Itaia being his mother's former genin student.
Naruto blushed when he saw Itaia. She was a beautiful teenage girl with long black hair tied in a loose ponytail, black eyes, pale skin, and a curvy yet athletic figure. She wore a tight black top with tight black kunoichi leggings. Her face, while beautiful, was devoid of emotion. Naruto had heard of her; she was considered one of the most prodigious kunoichi to ever come out of Konoha.
After talking for a while, everyone headed home. The clan heirs excitedly told their parents about Naruto's skills.
"He reminds me of you, big sis," Sasuki said to Itachi.
Itaia looked at her younger sister with intrigue. "Oh? How so?"
"Well, he was good at everything he did. He was the first to finish the written test, he used magic to make kunai appear and hit every bullseye, and he beat an Inuzuka in taijutsu in two hits. He was amazing!" Sasuki gushed.
"Hmm, interesting," Itaia mused. It seemed her sensei's son was quite the prodigy. She would keep an eye on him.
"Oh, does little Sasuki have a little crush?" Mikoto teased.
"No! I'm just impressed with his skill, that's all!" Sasuki blushed.
Mikoto just laughed. "Really? I mean, he looked pretty adorable with those little whiskers." She continued to tease.
Sasuke covered her ears and ran home. Mikoto giggled, and Itaia smiled faintly. Things were certainly getting interesting.
