"Mr. Arc, we need to talk."

Glynda flinched internally as the words left her mouth. She didn't mean to be so cold but in the face of a situation she was unfamiliar with, Glynda Goodwitch always falls back to her formal demeanor.

Still, the tone set would serve her well considering she was here to apologize and have a serious conversation with him.

Her throat almost closes up however when the Rusted Knight cautiously calls out her name.

"Glynda."

Glynda, not Ms. Goodwitch nor Professor Goodwitch.

He called her Glynda.

Damn.

Who would have thought just being called by her first name would have her traitorous heart react like so?

Her heart fluttered and a smile threatened to break out of her face even as she tried her best to restrain herself.

Brothers knew she hadn't been professional towards him enough already. Still, he does not make it any easier for her however.

"You promised to call me Jaune." He calls out softly and her throat dries up while her eyes widen as his bare chest comes closer once he starts stepping forward.

And just like that, her composure was broken.

Topless as he was, Glynda had a front row seat to the sight of his muscles rippling as he moved closer.

By the Gods, Glynda wasn't the type to swoon but even she got dizzy then and there as his sweaty, manly, musk invaded her nostrils.

All thoughts of having a serious conversation with him flew right out the window as every attempt to calm herself by taking deep breaths only backfired on her.

Glynda has always had a weakness for masculine men as evidenced by her brief stint with James back when they were younger and believe her when she says this, Jaune Arc was checking all of her boxes.

The fact that he was also the Rusted Knight, every girl's childhood hero, was the icing on the cake that was already perfectly appetizing.

There was nothing she could do with heat slowly making her blush but only sheer force of will stopped her from salivating in front of him as she gulps down her nervousness and tries to look him in the eyes.

"I-I did not think you would welcome me calling your name after..." She stutters and trails off with a blush as he nods at her.

"After you touched me."

Welp, there goes any semblance of compusre and poise she had. She flushes heatedly and looks away before coughing awkwardly.

"Y-Yes, an apology is in order."

"We definitely need to talk." Jaune cringed before looking at her intensely and Glynda's eyes spun at being put in the spot.

When Ozpin told her to procure some clothes for Mr. Arc, Glynda resolved her to apologize for her previous actions.

Now that she was here however, she finds herself at a loss for words. She couldn't help but wave her hands defensively between them instead.

"P-Perhaps after you've taken a bath?!" She squeaks out, making him reel back as she tries to buy some time for herself.

It works because Jaune Arc's widen as he takes in her word.

"O-Oh Gods! Do I smell?!" Jaune asked back instantly as he tried to smell himself.

Glynda could only shake her head at that.

"N-Nothing like that but wouldn't you feel more comfortable after a quick bath?!"

Jaune's eyes widened and he gave her a bright smile that makes her heart thump even more.

"You're right! Thanks, Glynda!" He says happily and before she knew it, she was pulling some clothes off of his bed and handing them towards him.

"Here, I prepared you some clothes." She calls out, a shaky smile appearing on her face as he smiles at her brightly.

"Thanks, Glynda! I wouldn't know what to do without you!"

And just like that, he takes his clothes from her hands and leaves Glynda a shaking mess as he rushes towards the bathroom.

The moment she heard the door slam close was the moment Glynda fell onto the bed with shaky breaths.

"Pull yourself together, Glyn! You are better than this!" She whispers harshly to herself as she tries to get her breathing back under control.

Gods, what must she look like right now?!

Heaving and blushing like a maiden in heat!

She came here to apologize and she couldn't even do that because what?! She couldn't master herself as she was too busy being like a teenage girl waiting inside her boyfriend's bedroom!

In hindsight, that was the wrong thing to think about because Glynda only blushes even more as she feels the bed below her.

Things only became harder for her however when the sound of the shower running reaches her ears.

Jaune Arc, the Rusted Knight, was taking a shower and Glynda Goodwitch could not help but have her imagination run wild.

Heat rushed throughout her body as she realizes only a few meters and a single door separated her from his naked form. She couldn't help it! She's seen him naked! She even touched him when he was naked!

So it was easy to imagine his rippling muscles slick with sweat being cleaned by cool refreshing water.

It was tempting to imagine herself as water droplet running down his form, refreshing him as she cleansed the glistening sweat off of his body.

A heated breath escapes her lips as she imagines herself just so.

She'd touch his bright blonde hair, flow down across his sharp facial features, into his muscled neck, and down again through his toned chest, eventually she would be trapped in the ridges of his rock, hard, abs but it would only be a matter of time before she goes lower and reaches his long and hard di-

NO!

Glynda immediately snapped her eyes open and screamed in frustration as her hand muffles her mouth.

"GRHHHMPH!"

Gods, what was she even doing?!

Here she was, Beacon's Deputy Headmistress and the pinnacle of Huntresses in Vale, and she couldn't even control herself?!

No! Glynda Goodwitch was better than this!

Taking one last chance to seek control of the situation, Glynda does what she does best. Work.

She took a deep breath before sitting herself up and looking at the mess around her. A ruffled bed and clothes disturbed by her own actions.

No, this simply cannot do.

Before she even knew it, she was clicking her tongue, shaking her head, and organizing Jaune's things.

The clothes she got for him were not that many so it only took a short amount of time of folding and compartmentalizing them before she was fixing his bed.

The work was a double-edged sword however because while it did make her calm, it made her too calm.

With the sound of the shower running in the background however, Glynda's mind is lulled into a false sense of security. Her body automatically relaxes and while it was her goal in the first place, it forces it to begin her nightly routine.

Mainly settling down after a long day of work.

By the time she was finished fixing the bed, she was already on autopilot. Her eyes turn a bit glassy as the emotional turmoil of the day releases itself into a sigh. She doesn't really notice her hand instinctively moving to her collar and while she didn't actually forget Jaune was just in the shower, Glynda was usually far too absentminded after a long day of work.

Which is why settling down happened to be one of the more enjoyable parts of her day. It also happened to involve stripping down.

She was just about halfway down to unbottoning her blouse and taking off her bra before starting to fix dinner when she froze after hearing a sound.

The bathroom door creaked open and Glynda immediately snapped towards its direction.

There he was, Jaune Arc, fresh out of the shower and wearing clothes that Glynda picked, stared at her with her blouse unbottened and her bra sticking out for all to see.

"What are you doing?" Jaune Arc asked, not taking his eyes off of her and Glynda could only blush prettily.

What, indeed.

Unfortunately for Glynda however, her misfortune was not over.

"Stripping." Her mouth automatically answers and the ground should have swallowed her up then and there because what the hell was she thinking?!

"What were you thinking?!"

Jaune cringed as Pyrrha hissed angrily inside his mind while he was in the shower.

Jaune could only answer one way however as his girlfriend continued to fume inside him.

"I wasn't!" He answers with complete honesty.

"JAUNE!" Pyrrha shouts.

"PYRRHA!" He calls back instantly, hoping the sound of the shower running would muffle the sound.

"You should have thrown her out the minute you saw her!"

Jaune only frowned at that however as he continues to shower. "I couldn't! Its impolite, Pyrrha. She came here to apologize."

"A likely story." Pyrrha scoffed and Jaune couldn't help but roll his eyes at that.

"Come on, Pyr. Why else would she be here?"

"To seduce you, of course!"

"What?!" Jaune's eyes widened at that.

"You heard what I said!" Pyrrha repeats but Jaune could only gawk even as his hands washed himself.

"I-It's Professor Goodwitch!"

For some strange reason however, he felt as if Pyrrha just rolled her eyes at him.

"I know you are dense, Jaune, but surely you are not that dense?! Remember the mothers from Atlas?"

Jaune blushed at that as he lathered his hair with shampoo. "You know about that, huh?"

"I've seen it." Pyrrha grunts before sighing at him. "Is it really so hard to believe Professor Goodwitch would act like that too?"

"Yes!" He answered instantly, facing upwards as he let the hot water run down his body.

Pyrrha however, only yelled back at him. "She has already touched you! What more do you need to make you believe she likes you?!"

Jaune faltered at that.

Framed like that...well, he couldn't help but agree with Pyrrha's assessment. After all, he could not deny that Professor Goodwitch really did touch him.

He still remembers her green eyes looking at him as her soft hands gripped him firmly before moving up and down. He remembers his seed lubricating as she swiped the head of his manhood with her-

"JAUNE!" Pyrrha yelled indignantly, jolting him out of his thoughts even as his member began to harden.

"What?!" He shoots back defensively but he only felt as if Pyrrha was looking at him flatly because of that. "I'm sorry, okay?! It's a natural reaction! If it helps, you are still the first one to touch me." He winces apologetically but Pyrrha only pouted at him.

"Only in your dreams."

Jaune's throat closes up at that before he sighs deeply. It was always a bummer when he was reminded that Pyrrha, his Pyrrha at least, only exists as a ghost in his head.

At first, he thought of using the Relic of Creation to ask for a body like what happened with Penny but he didn't know if that would work considering her soul was apparently attached to his. Penny did not have that condition.

The best case scenario for them would be if Pyrrha instantly transfers to the soulless body without any issue. The problem however was that when did things ever become the best case scenario for him?

Never.

They had as much chance as failing as they had succeeding.

The worst case scenario would then be if Pyrrha completely disappears, leaving him alone again as she returns to the afterlife.

Otherwise, her soul would stay inside of him and all he'd have accomplish is having a soulless body in his hands.

Jaune sighed.

He'd probably have to ask Jinn a question to make sure everything goes right but by then he'd have to deal with Raven and then Lionheart which in turn would warn Salem that something was up. He could lose his one chance of ambushing Cinder in his home turf!

No. If he wanted to get Pyrrha a body, it would have to be after he has killed Cinder and the world was a little bit safer.

"Jaune." Pyrrha calls out softly and Jaune could feel the worry in her tone.

She probably felt the heaviness of his thoughts but he only gives her a wan smile as he finishes showering.

Right, those problems were for later. Right now, he had a girlfriend to ssothe and a conversation to be had with another woman.

He felt Pyrrha purse her lips at that and he only chuckles softly as he reminds her of something very important. "Remember, you will always be my first kiss. That's real."

"I am, aren't I?"

He felt Pyrrha's spirits lift at that as he heard the smile in her voice anf Jaune only laughs louder as he waggles his eyebrows while drying himself with a towel.

"Besides, you are the one with me every night."

"Jaune!" She yells out shyly as he smiles widely.

Mission accomplished.

"Now come on, we still need to talk to Glynda." He ventures as he changes into the clothes Glynda picked for him.

They weren't fancy by any means but they were overall better than Jaune's own list of clothing containing nothing.

"It's Glynda now, is it?" Pyrrha grumbles but Jaune only speaks firmly.

"Pyrrha. First of all, she asked. Second, I promised her and-"

"Arcs. Words. Yes, yes, I still think she is here to seduce you." Pyrrha says impatiently and it was Jaune's turn to frown at her.

This was still Professor Goodwitch they were talking about. As much as Pyrrha was making a lot of sense, Jaune didn't want to assume anything of her. Especially after she just said she came here to apologize.

"Let's just see what she wants."

And see they did.

As he opens the bathroom door open, Jau e sees a sight he never would have dreamed of.

Glynda Goodwitch, snapping towards him with wide eyes, her blouse unbottoned, and her bra out for all to see.

It was pink.

"I told you! I told you she was out to get you!" Pyrrha immediately yells out vindictively.

His eye twitched at Pyrrha's words but there must be something more here. He refuses to believe Glynda Goodwitch of all people would just bare herself to him.

"What are you doing?" He asks in an effort to understand even as Pyrrha continued to howl in his mind.

"She's stripping, Jaune! Can't you see?! She's trying to seduce you!"

No. Surely not. Glynda should have a logical answer to-

"Stripping."

Palm. Meet. Face.

His palm rubbed his face frustratedly as he failed to manifest his Semblance again.

It has been hours since the Rusted Knight left them and Jaune was still no closer to unlocking his Semblance despite feelings its effects first hand.

It only pushed him to try harder however and yet while Jaune opted to stay and continue to train, everyone else started returning back to the dorms as the sky turned darker.

Everyone else except his partner.

While Nora and Yang waggled their eyebrows at them as they left, Jaune would have preferred being alone for this part despite being so close to the Emerald Forest.

Why? Because of one reason.

"Jaune, are you okay?" Pyrrha called out worriedly from behind him.

Her pity.

Rationally speaking, Jaune knew she wasn't actually pitying him but he couldn't help it! Shame still feels his heart at his lack of progress in front of her.

There they were, two people standing atop Beacon's cliffs as one of them tried to train while other watched in worry.

Jaune just barely bit back a cry of frustration at her words however and he is only able grind his teeth quietly. "I'm fine, Pyrrha."

She didn't deserve him lashing out at her but Jaune feared his patience was running thin after hours of fruitless training. Worse yet was that he didn't think he could take anymore pity from her of all people.

He heard her step closer towards him and there was no hiding the sigh that escapes him at that.

"I don't think you are fine, Jaune."

"I said I'm fine, Pyrrha." He grunts out but Pyrrha only comes closer and lays a hand on his shoulder.

"No, you aren't. I think you're tired-"

"I said I'm fine!" He shouts over her, throwing her hand off of him as he turns to face her.

His eyes widen then as he sees the expression in her face.

Jaune wasn't proud of his reaction and he could only sigh frustratedly as he looks at Pyrrha's hurt expression. "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have yell at you."

Pyrrha however only looks at him warily. "...What's wrong, Jaune?"

"I said I'm-"

"If you say you are fine again then I will actually punch you." Pyrrha interrupts, suddenly looking at Jaune with a flat expression on her face as she shows him just how unimpressed she was with his behavior.

Jaune could only gawk at her before resignedly shaking his head. "I guess I deserve that."

Pyrrha finally softens at his words as her worried voice returns to call him out. "Now will you actually tell me what is wrong?"

He chuckles hysterically at that.

What was wrong? Everything was wrong!

Pyrrha, dead.

Weiss, bleeding out.

Ruby's friend, murdered by his sword.

And here he was, unable to even improve himself. Unable to unlock his Semblance, which, considering he already had his older self to teach him was just a pathetic display of incompetence. And it was something he couldn't just admit to Pyrrha like so.

So what does he do?

"It's nothing." He lies like the liar he already was.

Pyrrha however only crossed her arms and raised an eyebrow at him.

"Jaune, it is not nothing."

"Can't we just leave it at that?" He groaned frustratedly at that but Pyrrha only lools flatly at him.

"Nope."

His eyes widened a bit but he only pleads at her more.

"Pleaseeee."

Was it a bit whiny? Probably but a smirk only tugs at Pyrrha's lips as she smiles at him.

"Nope."

He only chuckled hysterically at that.

It was something he would have expected of Ruby, not Pyrrha who was usually the example of poise and kindness but it seems his partner was resolved to get to the matter of things.

"You really aren't going to leave it alone, are you?" He shooks his head resignedly.

Pyrrha laughed beautofully and Jaune couldn't help his heart skipping a beat as she smiled at her.

"Nope. Now come on and tell me what's wrong."

"It's stupid." He sighed reluctantly but a wry smile kept tugging on his face even as he looked away from her.

"It wouldn't be stupid if it was bothering you, you know? Now what is it?" Pyrrha tapped her foot impatiently and Jaune couldn't but blush embarrassedly as he grumbled his answer

"It's my Semblance."

Pyrrha however only frowned at him. "What?"

"I said it's my Semblance." He answers louder, looking at her awkwardly even as she tilted her head in confusion.

"Yes? What about it?"

Jaune's eyebrows instantly climbed upwards at that.

Did...did she really not notice?!

Judging by her face, she really didn't!

"I-what do you mean what about it?! I can't use it, Pyrrha! I can't use my stupid Semblance!"

Pyrrha froze and Jaune thought she was finally realizing the gravity of the matter only for her to do the damnest thing.

She laughed.

Jaune's eyes widened as Pyrrha laughed loudly, no, she wasn't just laughing. She was bellowing! Straight from her belly!

"What?!" Jaune shrieked as his face started to redden in embarrassment.

Pyrrha however only continued to laugh as tears started to prick her eyes.

"Stop laughing! Why are you even laughing?! This isn't funny, Pyrrha!" He called out, anger coloring his voice.

"I-I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I didn't mean to laugh!" She called out as her laughter died down to chuckles while she wipes the tears in her eyes.

Jaune only frowned at her. Was this how she really was? He bared his problem towards her and she had the gall to laugh at his face. Jaune has never felt more betrayed.

Pyrrha must've sensed his mood because she stops laughing and cringes apologetically albeit with a slight smile on her face.

"That was mean of me. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to laugh, truly."

"Then why did you?"

Pyrrha however only smiled softly at his frustration.

"Jaune, you have to understand that you've only had your Aura for a few days. It would be illogical to think you could unlock your Semblance instantly."

Jaune's thoughts ground to a halt.

"What?"

Pyrrha rolled her eyes at him with a smile on her face. "Did you think unlocking your Semblance would be so easy? You would need to have a traumatic event to shock you into using it if you want to have it unlocked instantly, otherwise, you'd do it like the rest of us. By training."

Jaune however pouted at that. "But shouldn't it be easier for me? I know what it is. I've felt it myself. Heck, I even have my older self to teach me."

"Maybe you just need some time then? When did your older self unlock it anyway?" Pyrrha shrugged even as Jaune looked down at his hands.

"It happened when Weiss was bleeding out in my arms."

He gasped however when Pyrrha reached out to grab his hands even as she looked at him softly.

Jaune blushed a bit at the softness and care in her actions but Pyrrha only continues, not minding the contact between them.

"That would certainly do it." She whispers and Jaune gulps as her emerald eyes bore into his blue ones. "Can you tell me anything else? What was he trying to do?"

He felt his brows furrow before his eyes widened at the question.

"I think...I think he was trying to heal her." He says in amazement and a smile grows on Pyrrha's face.

"Good. That's good, Jaune. I understand your older self let you experienced his Semblance. Do you remember how it felt like?"

Jaune felt as if he could have been lost in the cadence of her voice and his smile only grows as Pyrrha continues to help him.

"It felt...good. Pleasant. Like cool water refreshing my skin and a warm bath loosening my muscles at the same time." He answers amd he blushes at the proud smile he elicits from Pyrrha.

"That's amazing, Jaune. Now I want you to hold onto that feeling before closing your eyes and trying to do that to me."

He follows her instructions. Remember the feeling of cool, healing, water on his skin as he closes his eyes.

It was a mistake.

Without his sense of sight, Jaune could only feel the warmth of her hands and all he could hear was the sound of his rapidly beating heart.

In his short life of seventeen years, there was nothing quite like the feeling of a woman who you knew likes you holding your hands short of the moment of his Aura being unlocked by the same woman.

His heart only beat faster as he heard her voice.

"That's good, Jaune, now gather your Aura into your hands and let it flow to me."

Jaune tried. He really really did but all he could do was shake lightly and gather a small amount of Aura as he tried to follow her instructions.

"It's not working." He sighs frustratedly before opening his eyes and looking at Pyrrha who only stared back at him frustratedly.

"What's wrong?" She asks and Jaune could only shake his head, unwilling to say he was distracted her, which from a certain point of view was also true.

Even before Pyrrha started helping him, Jaune already had problems with his Semblance. He could gather his Aura into different parts of his body like he does with an Aura Slash but he could not amplify it.

For a Semblance called Aura Amp, he should be getting stronger, not just moving around Aura like everybody else.

"I can't amplify it. I could move it to different parts of my body but I couldn't amplify it and transfer it to you."

"Maybe we need to recreate it." Pyrrha replies, letting go of his hands as she thoughtfully puts one under her chin.

Jaune immediately looked at her in horror.

"I'm not going to stab you!" He shouts with wide eyes but Pyrrha only chuckles at him.

"You don't need to. I was thinking more about the stress of the situation."

"Oh." He breathes a sigh of relief at that and Pyrrha laughs loudly at him.

"Come on, I have an idea." She says as she pulls him near the edge of the cliff.

"Uhm, Pyrrha? What are you doing?" He asks cautiously as he pulls his hand back.

"Trying to help you." She smiles but Jaune only looks at her skeptically.

"I don't think pushing me off of a cliff would help me unlock my Semblance. If it did, then I should have already unlocked it when I got launched towards the forest."

She surprises him again however but turning towards him and giving him a sad smile.

"Then do you know how I died?"

Jaune froze at that before slowly shaking his head.

"All I know is somebody killed you."

For someone hearing how they were supposed to die, Pyrrha took it with the casual grace Jaune could only be envious of.

"Hmmm...anything else? When was the last we would've seen each other?" She hums, tilting her head curiously even as Jaune's throat closes up.

The last time they would have seen each other?

"Probably when you kiss me before running to your death after pushing me into a locker." He answers tightly.

Pyrrha however, shyly looks away with a blush on her face at that.

"Oh." She says as she puts both hands behind her back before looking away from him.

Any other time, Jaune would have blushed at the sight of Pyrrha framed by the moonlight and looking as bashful as she was now. Talking about her death however was not a matter for blushing. It took away all joy Jaune would have had to what he was sure was a lovely evening.

He smiles brittlely and Pyrrha must've seen it because she turns towards him with a sad smile of her own.

"Did you see it yourself or did your older self tell you?"

"I saw it." He gulps as Pyrrha nods apologetically at him.

"I'm sorry."

"Why? It hasn't happened yet, you know?" He asks with a fake laugh but Pyrrha only looks at him for a moment.

She looks away, muttering something to herself before nodding and turning towards him.

"You're right. It hasn't happened yet." She says resolutely and was it a trick of the light or was she starting to blush as red as her hair. "Now I want you to close your eyes."

Jaune looked at her dubiously at that before following her instructions. Darkness greeted him as he closed his eyes and it wasn't long before he heard her voice again.

"I want you to think about that moment. What would you have done differently?"

To be honest, he himself has been thinking about the same question the moment the memory crystallized in his mind. Combined with the words the Rusted Knight threw at him the first time they fought then Jaune could only have one answer.

Never abandon Pyrrha.

"Follow you. I would follow you." He answers resolutely, a confident smile tugs his lips upward as his resolve hardens.

No matter what happens, he was following her.

Before he knew it however, she was whispering closely.

"Good."

His eyes immediately opened and the next thing he knew, a hand was covering his eyes.

"Pyr-mmph!"

Something soft made contact with his lips but he didn't even have any time to process it before he was pushed backwards.

He gasped as he stumbled onto the ground before looking up at Pyrrha. Without the hand covering his eyes, Jaune had a front row seat to Pyrrha blushing and smiling at him...right as she falls backwards over the cliff.

Save me. He hears and he was already moving..

The distance was too far and Jaune was too slow but before he even knew it, he was already glowing and scrambling to follow.

Speed was his friend then and there but right as he launches over the edge, he looks down and sees Pyrrha...laying back on her shield that was floating midair.

She smiled. Jaune smiled.

And then he fell.

By the time Jaune Arc and Pyrrha Nikos returned to their dorm room, it was well into the night.

Both their clothes were dirty and frazzled but both were also smiling from ear to ear.

When asked by their teammates what they did, both had one answer.

Training.

Skepticism was plain to see on Nora Valkyrie's face however. "What kind of training would leave you like that?"

"Oh you know? Jumping off cliffs." Jaune Arc answers as he gives Pyrrha Nikos a teasing look.

"Why would you jump off a cliff?" Lie Ren asks confusedly to which Pyrrha Nikos laughs with a red face.

"Well someone needed some help awakening their Semblance." She answers happily as she looks back at Jaune Arc.

"Did it work?" Nora asks curiously to which Jaune and Pyrrha only looked back at each other.

"I need more training."

"He needs more training."

"Well, there's always the rooftops if you need a place to jump off of." Lie Ren adds, too used to Nora's whimsies to question them much. At that moment however, both partners only looked at him like he was a genius.

And thus, Jaune Arc and Pyrrha Nikos' nightly routine of training on the rooftops was born.

If they ever did anything else, well...there was no one else to see.
