As the mission was sanctioned, and he was transferred to Landry and the Atlantis team at the time. As Rodney McKay, Cam Mitchell, Vala Mal Doran, Hank Landry, Frank Simmons, Steven Caldwell, John Shepard. And Elizabeth Weir enter the picture here, the story will have Daniel and Teal'C joining their team. As the SGA is founded 5 years early, and moved into the outpost on earth….

Chapter 9: Mission Assignments And Changing Commands IV
Till Teal'C decided to quit too, and came along with him, as they stayed a duo, in program teams, and passed their knowledge to Landry now. "Hey! You should meet the whiz kid they saddled us with while you were out of commission."he said and Daniel ignored even looking at him. "Robert Rothman. He was my research assistant when I was doing my dissertation, smart guy, had a good teacher." he said and he said it in disgust then.
"Geek." he said and Daniel sighed. "That's the reason we scientists don't want anything to do with you, you're as prejudiced. As a teenage just activated training ensign calling the General the old man, because you're not getting attention, as a teenage red shirt." Daniel said sternly then. "Yes, you used to call me that." he said and Jack said it. "I was talking about you, so…., how long are we going to be stuck with this guy?" He said to him as Daniel said it.
"What do you mean?" he asked and Jack paled, as he heard his voice, realizing this really was forever now at the news and he said it then. "How long are you going to be gone?" he said and Daniel nodded. "Didn't…, didn't dad tell you?" he said and he said it. "What? That you quit? Yeah, he told me that, but uh…, come on, we both know you can't stay away." he said to him then, and Hammond shook his head sternly, and Jack started shaking then.
"Then I guess we're both wrong cause…, I'm gone." he said and he said it snidely. "Give it a week: You'll miss me." he said and Daniel said it bluntly."Yes: all the salty, bad-tempered insults, all the illogical arguments…" he said and she flinched, realizing every word to Jack was another piece to her situation with him. "Ok, you'll miss Carter and Teal'C." he said and he said it, switching it. "I'll miss Teal'C." he said and she felt that slam.
Then, into her, realizing in being around Jack, he come to take offense to anything she did regarding him, and Teal'C was the only friend he had out of the 4 of them. Her, Jack, Teal'C and Janet then, because they treated him like crap ever since Jolinar came into the picture. "And you'll miss the excitement: All the new cultures you get to explore, the living history. It's the kind of stuff you can't walk away from." he said and she swallowed hard then.
"Jack: Up until now, every time I set foot through that 'Gate I was thinking about my wife, maybe I'll see her this time, maybe this is the one. Now every time I go through, it'd just be some.., someplace, where that hope used to be." he said and Sarah felt her heart rip apart, realizing that's how he felt after she too got taken. "That's why I can't do it any more…, I hope you understand that." he said and Anna wiped the tears off her face.
"The SGC may be the single most important human endeavor for the future of mankind, not bad, huh?…, You said that." he said and he said it in finality then. "The SGC will go on without me, you got by without me when I was for 2 months. after I found Denali, you can do without me now, as I'm transferring departments." he said firmly and she swallowed hard. "Point taken, I quit, before Linea." he said sternly and they paled.
"That you don't need me, nobody in this rathole does now, you want me side-lined yeah okay I am, you want out of the program, that's the baseline. Yeah okay, you got your wish, before you can hospitalize me, I quit, but like them, Doctor, you're as prejudiced. About civilians, as they are, so can it." he said and Janet swallowed. "And with those words in mind, Daniel quit his job in the SGC, so he can work the SGA, and 2) he's, here in the SGC, now on suicide watch."
"He's not part of SG-1 anymore, you made sure of that, Machello, this suicide watch, Colonel." he said and they started shaking. "That transfer was going through you, no matter you objected to it, and you just sentenced yourselves to a political death now. As a result of last night's attempt murder in your case, but you expect us to believe that was attempted suicide. When he knew he was being transferred this morning, and Brandon and Dave are coming to get him."
"And Hank and Jean with them." Sanderson said and they started shaking in fear, realizing they screwed up and Hammond smiled sternly then. "Here it comes, and Bert has the GDO, they're thinking, though he killed her already right now. And by throwing her in the cryo tank, she's still alive, there's the reaction you needed, they still never let it go." Daniel said and the quintet crossed their arms smiling sternly at that remark and they started shaking violently to that.
"Alright, he's not on suicide watch, he's part of the team, he's staying right here!" Mckenzie shouted quickly and he smiled sternly, as he looked at him sternly then. "It's too late, right now Colonel, you wanted him sidelined in the SGC, you get it now here. But at the same time here, he's being moved to a new command, as he recovers, but how can we. Now, believe you exactly, your idea to get him off your team, Colonel O'neill, out of the SGC, worked a little too well.
"But you want him gone, okay he's gone, he can work science and exploration now, but translations, but that's all you needed him for, you can get by with Garrett now. You kicked Danny off the team by suicide watch, remember, so with him no longer part of SG-1, or the SGC, he's being transferred to General Landry?" he said and they all paled at that remark. "Seems your words reversed themselves back on you, for now we're going to medicate you."
"And let you rest in one of the VIP rooms, but if your symptoms persist, or if you become a threat to yourselves or anyone else here on the base. We're going to have you all committed to mental health." Sanderson said and the trio started shaking, realizing once again their idea backfired and reversed itself back on them again finally. By the added blood all over the floor in the bathroom and the carpet at that remark, they effectively now, just destroyed their lives.
"What's next, you consider that hell freezes over, before you allow him back, yeah okay fine, we can make that happen, as he transfers to Hank. Said psychosis, either he works the SGC side of the program, or he doesn't work it at all. You don't run the program, it's civil services, but these rules exist for a reason, you think you're above the law, you Five, hmm?" he asked, and they all paled, realizing Addison put them in a no win, because the program was civilian ran there.
That the civil services ran the entire program, and now realizing everything they tried to do, to sabotage him, keep there at the SGC. It just got reversed back on them, only proving Daniel was right, that they belonged to Hathor. "Antartica is hell to your knee, so it will be when hell freezes over, before he ever returns to your team then, you want the team all military. Okay fine, Captain Sanderson is your archeologist again, you want him gone, he's gone now."
"That simple, you threw him to the wolves to keep going, yeah okay fine, you do military missions, he has archeology/anthropology." he said and Jack started shaking, realizing their idea worked a little too well, and Daniel readily accepted. In his return to Catherine. "So what's next, you calling him a Goa'uld sympathizer now, when he's a Tok'ra loyalist, with your father a Tok'ra?" he asked and the trio went white at that remark.
Now realizing Daniel did it with the Tok'ra queen and sired the first batch ever right now then, as they exchanged panicked looks then. "As such here right now, and to say this now, you're wrong, because you're Jack O'neill, stealing and doing trade without the 5 questions. As Aris said, oh you SGC Earthlings and your morality, has it ever occurred to you. That someone outside your solar system, may not see things the way you do."
"But cocky bastard, you think you can catch me, you're only checking Goa'uld planets in the cartouche, with us making contact with the Asgard, the Nox, now what. That we don't need their stuff, you idiots, we do need them, stuff, stuff breaks down. What we need are schematics, to create billions of these things, rather then stealing. And reverse engineering it now here." Daniel said sternly and Jack went pale at the insult then.

So no Danny send someone to find out what's being stolen, appeal to their good side. Because we're looking for who the mole is, inside this base, once found right now, they're being sentenced to whoever chose them: Shyla." Addison said and they all paled.
"I need to make a phone call." he said and went to the gate room. "Thank god we left the MALP there, I can call them directly." he said and dialed the number. "Yes we read you Commander, what is it." a voice asked and they heard a smile then in his tone smiling as he answered that response. "Alex that you?" he asked and they heard a smile in his tone. "Yes Commander, what can I do for you, my friend." he asked and they smiled as he answered.
"Listen can you tell the queen I'm back to visit indefinitely, I'm on a salvage mission here, but the traitors and their tramp, after they did last year, just got arrested for trying attempted murder to keep me here, and tell the queen that the serum worked like a charm, they been arrested for mental break and attempted murder here. But I'm coming to fix what they screwed up, before the king passed here now." he said and they heard a smile then at the news gently.
"Yes Danny I'll tell her, just come through when you're ready and I'll have quarters ready for you, remember said rules now, before we let you have it a second time. See you soon baby bear, Dr. Cartier out." he said and Sam paled and Daniel smiled. "See you soon, Philippe." he said and turned around."That's the royal Doctor: Philippe Cartier, he treated me when during the cave in." he said and Hammond and Carson nodded sternly then to him.
"Yeah he's a Goa'uld sympathizer, but said Goa'uld are the duo we did business with, after you helped them arrest their third. After she tried to kill Teal'C and their leader right now, you never figured it out yet, did you. Jacob's Goa'uld name is Rebec, he's the minor goa'uld to Lord Yu, so he follows Jacob. He follows Lord Yu, after said now in warnings, you get arrested by them, the consequences are not going to be pretty."
"He's not putting up with that crap of your's forever, but does this ring any bells." he said sternly to him then, as he put the tape in. "Dr. McKenzie." he said and he said it sternly. "Colonel." he said and Jack paled, realizing this was the next attempt then. "I'm not going to enjoy this, am I?" he said and Hammond crossed his arms then sternly at that remark. "Part of Dr. MacKenzie's work involves analyzing psychological data from SG units."
"Specifically looking for common side affects to Gate travel, Dr. Jackson's episode yesterday may have uncovered a serious one." he said and Sutherland's double nodded, and Jack paled, realizing that was aimed at them, for walking into a contaminated area, again. "Dr. Fraiser's been treating you for headaches lately, hasn't she?" he asked and Jack looked at Janet, who looked away uncomfortably then, and Janet went pale, realizing, now.
The validity of Daniel's question a few minutes earlier, she never acted like their parents, but relied on bloodtests, and Daniel was sick of it. "Yes. What's that got to do with Daniel?" he asked and he explained that. "Well you're not the only one. Fifty-three percent of SG field personnel also have a history of them." he said to him then. "A lot of people get headaches. What's your point?" he asked him then, and Jack swallowed hard at that then.
"You still don't get it, do you, there is no blood test that shows a gene for mental illness, it's environment, not hereditary." Carson said sternly and she went white. "That you screwed up highly here, this was environmental, or rather, artificial schizophrenia right now. And the only source that can be come up with it, it just happens to be the scientist. That you walked into 6 months prior at the time now." he said and Sam went white at remark in fear then finally here.
"As I said young man, I did that very same set of testings, and research, it's battle fatigue pure and simple, once the parasite was removed, he just needed 6 months of rest." Adam said and with a stern tone and he swallowed hard, shaking. "Dr. Jackson has experienced what I characterize as a first break psychotic episode. Which may be manifesting full-blown hebephrenic-schizophrenia." he said then and Hammond crossed his arms sternly then.
"Migraines are often one of the first signs." she said and he started shaking, realizing this attempt was meant to get them short changed. Only Daniel was faking the psyched out methods, till they had enough on him and Carter to have them shot. "As interesting twist, but thing of it is, that this was artificial, only the Professor is the real deal, Captain." Hancock said sternly and she started shaking in fear, realizing they were screwed now finally.
"Wait a minute: Daniel's a schizophrenic, and it's caused by…, the Stargate?" Jack said and she said it gently then. "It's the only logical explanation we have right now, Colonel." she said and he nodded, as Mckenzie also went pale, realizing they got caught then finally. "Dr. Jackson's dopamine levels have increased in the left hemisphere of his brain. All these symptoms are textbook schizophrenia." he said to him gently at that.
"I don't understand how this could happen without us noticing signs." Sam said and she finished that. "Nobody knows the exact cause of schizophrenia, some cases are genetic, but there's no history of it in Daniel's family. When it's not genetic, could be chemical, screwing with recreational drugs, if not that. It's environmental and the Stargate is a plausible environmental cause." she said to him and Sam said it to that defensively then.
"I've been through the 'Gate as many times as Daniel, and I don't have headaches." she said and she said it firmly to that remark at that. "Well your body may have some kind of immunity, possibly due to Jolinar." she said to her and Janet started shaking, finally realizing why Daniel threw that question at her, when their parents. Now, followed 40's and 50's psychiatric medicine, in the act of getting violent with doctor and Daniel never did that with her.
"Alright, let's say for the sake of argument that it is the Stargate, a theory to which I do not ascribe, then why don't we just put a little sign at the base of the ramp. That says 'Gate travel may be hazardous to your health.' I can live with that." Jack said to him and Sam nodded. "So can I, Sir." she said, nodding in agreement and the quartet exchanged stern looks at that, knowing that to keep going they were going to throw Daniel.
And right to the wolves then to keep going and she and Jack went white at that. "Excuse me, but is that the 'to keep going, we're going to abandon a member of our team', tone in your voices?" Hammond asked sternly and they paled at that. "The Air Force can't, I can't risk any SG officer having delusions in the middle of a crisis. Therefore, as we speak, all outstanding SG teams are being recalled for evaluation." he said to that sternly then.
"You're shutting down the whole program?!" she said, never thinking then after Shyla, that their mistreatment could result in a fast shut down. "Only until Dr. MacKenzie and their teams submit their report. If his theory is proven correct. Limits will be placed on the number of missions, but until then now, is the Stargate is closed." he said and she started shaking, realizing this once again was the consequence of her decision during Shyla.
"General…" Jack started to say and he said it sternly. "There is no debate, Colonel." he said and he said it sighing then. "Of course not." he said and she said it in resignation. "What about Daniel, sir?" she asked and Mckenzie answered that. "For now we're going to medicate him and let him rest in one of the VIP rooms." he said and as Janet said it then. "But if his symptoms persist or he becomes a threat to himself or anyone else…"
"We'll have to commit him to Mental Health." she said and the 7 doctors and Addison smiled sternly and she started shaking violently, realizing they dragged in a real schizophrenic. "Wait a second, I take it back here!" Jack said shaking in fear then and he smiled dangerously. "Can't take the words back that have already been said, and does this ring any more bells right now." Sanderson asked him sternly and he swallowed hard at that remark, then shaking.
Now realizing he was screwed here now. "Untie me, Jack, don't do this." he said weakly and they heard a cold tone in Jack's voice as he answered him. "You did it to yourself, Daniel." he said and Daniel shook his head. "No I didn't." he said and Jack smirked as he answered him at that. "Then who did, Shyla, don't tell me Maggie gave that scalpel to you. What about an invisible enemy, that's the only conceivable explanation right now."
"And into why a member of my team would slash his wrists." he said and the nurse crossed her arms as Perry and Jefferson did the same as they were watching this from behind Jack. "No she didn't." Daniel said and Jack said it with a stern growl. "There are no cowards on SG-1." He said and they heard a bitter mental chuckle at that as they heard an answering response to his remark as he said it softly then, and Hammond crossed his arms sternly then.
"You're one to talk, what do you call this." he said grabbing his wrist and shoving his sleeve up, as they saw the secondary cut, next to the first and he paled then. "There are no cowards on SG-1, you contradict your own words." he said as Teal'C, Lou and Warren crossed their arms. "You are such a hypocrite, but I don't take drugs, I don't drink more then one glass, but now. And with my future powers, it's 3/4's non to 1 shot is." he said and he swallowed hard at that.
'Yeah and look who's talking right now, you self righteous bastard, a member of SG-1 wouldn't throw someone up on their place right now. They wouldn't pretend to not know what their team mate is trying to tell them when they're being eavesdropped on. They wouldn't continue to pretend the team mate that protected them from their worst nightmare and is suffering a break down."
"And after 7 months since they made a fool of themselves, they wouldn't continue to try to deflect the reason. Now, that the said team mate now hates their guts and tell the truth to the general. So I'm no coward, you are, you spineless coward, you sick bastard.' They heard as they heard Jack go further and Jack paled at each remark coming out of his mouth as Frasier did the same at that.
"My, my fault." he said and Jack heard his voice say it coldly. "Damn right." he said and then finished it then. "What did you think you were doing, what you think suicide is the best way to handle this. Alright I'm not taking any chances here and I can't trust you enough to not hurt yourself. And until you got your head on straight, you're off my team." he said and and they heard they feigned remark.
"What?" he said and Jack heard his voice make it very clear. "You're deactivated." he said and they heard, his next cold remarks. "I'll ask Hammond to keep you on the project, though I don't know what you'll be doing after this stunt." He said and Hammond answered that himself. "What he'll be doing, Colonel, is taking your place, now, as the leader of SG-1, until you got your head on straight, young man."
"And until I see you're ready to handle things, but two attempts to block out the memories until the Tok'ra go to the more direct approach. And of shoving you back into your nightmare and this is payback for what you did to him right now. And when he's not here, Carter's in charge of the team." he said and Jack swallowed hard at that remark, as they heard very furious tone in Daniel's voice at that, as improvised the next one.
"Fine, you don't need to take a chance with me anymore, you're like everyone else I've ever considered a parent, or did you forget that I'm an orphan. So if that's how you see it, that I'm burden, then just get out of here. I'm serious, just leave, if you think I'm just a burden, then you don't need to take a chance on me." he said as Jack saw the feral smile come into his eyes as he answered him.
"I don't intend to." he said as they heard the heart monitor beeping wildly at that as they saw her walk up with a syringe. "Colonel, it's rest time for our patient, rest is what his body needs." she said and Rosen crossed his arms at that. "No." Daniel said quickly and they nodded. "Well that's going way too far here at the moment, if I heard the entire conversation, I'd get him away from you." Pulaski said in shocked disgust at that and Hammond nodded.
"You ever read up on the three laws of robotics, they're like being a soldier and a doctor?" he asked and they all paled. "A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm. A robot must obey all orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict now."
"And with the First or Second Law, which coincidentally matches the SGC/NID conditioning." he said and they all went white, never thinking they were robots now, just to protect the program. "Well sorry this robot developed a mind of its own, do you realize how corrupt the U.S. military really are here, are you truly willing. Now, to kill people just to protect the secrecy of this program?" he asked and they started shaking then.
"Soul test guys, you drink this, and we see if you match me, the quartet and the generals." he said and the entire technicians and medical team took a swallow. "Whoa, whatever they put into this stuff, and that's some strong cider too right now. This is beyond good, but yeah I don't feel any different, in fact I feel like you said. Smarter, stronger, faster, I bet if I get cut, when dealing with repairs, my cells divide here."
"Five times faster then normal." Siler said smiling and Harriman, Grace and Graham nodded in agreement. "Yeah and make that 75x's faster then normal, as the narrator's sister would say, some super human, others monsters. But one or the other, only these freaks crossed the line to get the second right now. And we can use this, as a way to create the game, come to life in sum years." he said and they crossed their arms then.
"To quote the narrator to the next version of that game, 'we were standing on the threshold of discovery, a technology, with infinite possibilities. Instead, we let them in, fused an unholy union of flesh and metal, now this brave new world. Has gone to hell.', well the only way it could, is if soldiers like you never repent. And show remorse for attempted murder here or whatever you pulled here." he said and Daniel said it then.
"Walter, Graham, start taking the gate offline, deactivate their key cards, level 20 foxtrot wyoming Mike Charlie sierra, on base security. But level 25 on papa Sierra, as a result of papa bravo foxtrot Romeo, after Hathor." he said and he nodded. "Yes Sir." Siler said as he got to work. "Level 25, that's medical/psychiatric maximum security in a mental hospital!" Sam said in shock and Sanderson nodded as Graham grabbed the phone.
"As Frasier said, but if their symptoms persist, or if they becomes a threat to themselves. Or anyone else, we're going to have to have them committed to mental health. Well they just proved that last night, you're a threat to yourselves, each other and everyone else. So get comfortable, no one is going anywhere and do you or Frasier have a sane explanation, for he just did right now, after cutting his wrist."
"And to the elbow, I call this, he's so crazy jealousy, he's ready to kill anyone that does better then he does, it's not a competition. But if you're jealous enough to kill your competition, then what more is there to say here. But that we need to have you committed for psychiatric evaluation, till such time here. As the president decides to reactivate the SGC right now, he agrees with Kinsey and decided to call shutdown."
"All Senate Appropriations support is being thrown at the SGA, only instead of war, is trading and no more cutting corners now here." Hammond said sternly and they paled. "Code 20, code 20, this is not a drill, I repeat not a drill, the traitors, are in the control room, the Stargate is going offline, for 90 days. And till all papa papa Romeo are complete, under order by the joint chiefs and the president." Graham said into the radio.
"Make that 4 months actually, the SGC is deactivated, pending a psychiatric run through here, the base is in lock down, communications blackout. So anything too small to bring back, has been postponed, and tell me, how is Maybourne. Now going to get it to Earth now, through Neumann, after he and his team escaped exactly last year?" Daniel said and SG-3 paled, realizing Daniel was the agent meant to arrest him then.
"With two attempts in 6 months, one including a scientist that said the very remark, you said about him, Captain Carter, what more is there to say. As going back to Sarah, you trace him there, he blew it, in getting Sha're back. As you been lying to us for 18 months, you don't need him in this rathole anymore. He has no reason to stay here anymore, you made sure of that right now." Dillon said and they started shaking violently.
Now realizing this was all thanks to the log entry she had put down, they had enough of their attitudes. "Log entry August 22, 1998." he said to clarify and they all went white. "You crushed his soul, so why should he stay here exactly, you murdered the sole cause. Of why he joined the program, just what right do you have here, to judge the value. Of his life outside this program?" he asked and she started shaking in fear then at that.
"At least with Catherine, as she's, as you say, a soft scientist, she and the queen can heal his heart, In his words, up until now, every time he set foot through that 'Gate right now, he was thinking about Sha're. Maybe he'd see her this time, maybe this is the one, now every time he goes through. It'd just be someplace, where that hope used to be, that's why he can't do it any more, he thought you'd understand that."
"Nothing is holding him here, his only friends are medical born, medical spec ops, what's the point, you all think he's crazy, dangerous, out of control. Yeah okay, fine right now, the military says he's crazy, the military can find different ways. Just to do the job without calling on civilians, when the civilian ran, military help. Runs the civil service department, which just happens to be based, on John Nash right now."
"As he said, you don't need him, nobody in this rat hole does, but you just proved our point, something was bound to happen. And that something is, first Machello's legacy and with it, Sha're death, followed by Linea." Sutherland's double said sternly and they started shaking in fear, realizing this went back to his confronting them. And in front of Hammond, Carson and Ferretti, and Johnson and Makepeace swallowed hard at that news.
"But as we don't have the time or money, energy, to focus on full medical, and psychiatric, we know a few people that do, and he's staying there. This time, after you destroyed his further chance to heal and recover, after you nearly killed 75 people. Whatever these powers that the ancients have, are you really willing to put 75 to 100 people in the hospital, to get out from under scrutiny?" Sanderson said and they paled.
"Son, I sent for some old family friends, not your father's age group, but your grandparents." he said and he nodded smiling, as a couple and an old man, looking like Christopher Plummer walked in, and he smiled then. "How's my baby?" he asked and he sighed. "She lied to me all that time, but quite frankly, I don't belong here anymore." he said and he nodded. "Going to be okay, son." the elderly scientist said gently to him.
"Hey Professor, been a long time." he said, shaking his hand, before the man hugged him tightly then and he nodded. "Yeah I missed you too son, you know I would have come to get you sooner, if not for Nick right now, transferring you all over the place. But your grandfather is the one ending up permanently incarcerated right now. I gained the Nobel prize right now, but you deserved that Nobel prize, for proving things here."
"But this crossed the line, so the gate causes it huh, uh huh, yes alright, so it's me all over again, yeah okay I understand that, but the faster. That we get you away from these lunatics, the faster you heal, but as I said then. What's the point of being considered crazy if you can't have a little fun with it now." he asked and Mckenzie started shaking in fear, realizing they shoved a true schizophrenic scientist into the equation finally.
"You know the Nashes?!" Sam said shaking and Dr. John Nash nodded sternly."His grandmother is my best friend, but while I earned the Nobel prize, his grandfather. Who my doctor also diagnosed now, considered had a nervous breakdown, bordering on hebephrenic-schizophrenia, based on a crystal skull right now. MacArthur's psychiatric institute, up in Trenton, New Jersey." he said and she went white, shaking.
