Chapter 13 - Valhalla

Ivan Dreyar looked at the purple serum in his hands. The son of Fairy Tail's guild master looked skeptical as he looked at the little fluid in his hand. He looked at Brain who was patiently awaiting input from the greedy man. As Ivan had his own doubts despite knowing how intelligent the scientist is.
"So this poison will work?" Ivan asked.
Brain nodded, "It's not like a typical poison. Though slow and lacking in design. My poison directly attacks the entire body at once." he answered.
Ivan looked at the poison again, "So the whole body is effected but at a slow rate? Are you sure it will work or did you just give me an expensive case of diarrhea?" he asked.
"Every Jewel is worth it. I suppose if you're not interested. I can find another buyer." Brain said as he didn't want to waste anymore time with someone like Ivan Dreyar.
The man was so greedy, he called money "Money-chan" and tends to add "chan" to everything as a suffix. The last thing any businessman wants, regardless of legitimacy, is a frugal man taking too long to consider a purchase.
"Well it better work. That woman is stronger than she looks but her genes mean nothing with how Laxus was born." Ivan said referring to the frail child he created.
"I doubt you would have better results if you somehow made it into bed." Brain retorted.
"Are you choosing now to mock my sex life!?" Ivan asked angrily.
"How can I mock something that is nonexistent?" Brain asked with a straight face.
Ivan chose to ignore anymore remarks, "Fine I'll take it, but it better take that pale boy, Sieg, as well." he said.
Brain grinned, "A homunculus is just made to function as a battery. I doubt his organs will last long against my poison." he said before Ivan paid him the necessary jewel for the poison.
Modern day
(Fallen Jedi OST - Second Sister Theme)
Siegfried transformed Soul Calibur into the shape of a normal broadsword and prepared to bring impale Brain's head. When the dark mage suddenly lifted up his staff to block the attack. Brain gritted his teeth as he tried to push Siegfried back only to feel the Azure Knight's superior strength knock his staff out of his hands. Brain quickly rolled out of the way to avoid being killed and quickly picked up his staff again.
Siegfried ran at Brain and slashed at him repeatedly with the Oracion Seis' leader doing his best to block each attack, but not without earning a few light stabs and large gashes around the body. Further cementing that Siegfried's physical conditioning was still in great shape despite losing control to Nightmare earlier. Brain used every bit of strength to push Siegfried back while trying to channel magic into his staff to blast the knight away only to find himself losing his balance. Right before being bashed in the face with an elbow followed by a kick to the chest that sent him crashing into one of the abandoned buildings.
Brain coughed as he tried to pick himself up, 'No wonder the King of Fiore puts so much faith in this one. He's as powerful as his mother if he hasn't surpassed her already. If the rumors are true, he likely has the blood of a Pendragon in his blood.' he thought as he struggled to stand as Siegfried arrived.
For some, they would expect Siegfried to slowly walk towards Brain like a psychopath in a horror movie. Unfortunately he's not completely psychotic or like an evil villain who needs to gloat for 10 minutes before delivering the final blow. Instead, Siegfried was just running for the blow without stopping for a random conversation or suddenly being distracted by a random object.
"Wind Style: Crescent Slash!" Siegfried yells as he unleashes a powerful slash of wind towards Brain.
"Dark Capricio!" Brain counters, blasting away the wind technique and Siegfried who landed on his hands and feet. Siegfried quickly recovered and held up his sword defensively as Brain continued his counter attack, "Scream!" he yelled as his second blast was even more powerful.
"Summoning Jutsu: Rashomon!" Siegfried countered as a giant gate with a demonic face appeared.
The blast created a giant dent that made the wall bend backwards a bit. However Siegfried was safe and Brain's attack failed to do any damage. Suddenly, the roof tiles on the wall came to life and started to launch themselves at Brain who tried to blast them away before being hit several times and crashing into the ground again.
As Brain slowly stood up, he saw Siegfried was standing on top of the Rashomon gate. Where he jumped down and attempted to slash down at Brain with his sword.
Brain raised his staff against Siegfried again, "Dark Gravity!" he shouts as Siegfried crashed down into the ground.
Although that wouldn't keep the Azure Knight down for too long as he stood back up and changed Soul Calibur's form into a zweihander. Brain dodged every attack and attacked Siegfried from behind whenever he missed his slash. Only to end up taking a kick to the face followed by a slash that sent him flying into the air. It became significantly more painful as Siegfried rapidly slashed at him from the air before landing a deadly kick back to the ground.
Brain coughed up blood as he saw Siegfried land with no sign of giving up so soon. Using all his will power, Brain stood back up and discreetly used his Requip magic to summon a dagger that he kept behind his back. As Siegfried came close, Brain attempted to stab him. Of course it was blocked the first couple of times before successfully landing a blow to the face. Sadly this didn't do anything as Brain hit by the heavy sword a couple of times before falling back.
Siegfried wiped his face as if he were covered in dirt. Revealing that the dagger was unable to cut him much to Brain's surprise. Somehow the dream he had from his coma had granted him Armor of Fafnir, making most weapons and mid tier magic useless against Siegfried. Of course he can feel pain, but that didn't mean he was being effected or killed by something simple like a dagger.
"Earth Style: Stone Fist!" Siegfried yelled as he smashed his fist against Brain's head.
Brain grunted as he felt the heavy stone crashing against his head. As he fell, he quickly sweeped Siegried's legs who quickly recovered before kicking him back in return. Without even letting Brain catch his breath, Siegfried formed more hand seals and slammed them into the ground.
"Earth Style: Swamp of the Underworld!" Siegfried calls out as the ground turns into mud and pulls Brain down.
Brain raised his staff again in an attempt to find a way to escape this deadly trap. Only only to scream in pain as he felt a kunai cut deeply into his hand. Making him drop the staff into the mud and sink with him. Brain gritted his teeth as he couldn't move in the mud as it felt sticky and tried to pull him deeper under the ground.
"Tell me how to stop Nirvana!" Siegfried demanded as he extended Soul Calibur towards Brain.
Brain closed his eyes, "Midnight… do not vanish… that is my only prayer." he said as if he was giving up.
Siegfried didn't want to hear that, "Tell me now!" he commanded as he ready to end Brain's life regardless.
Sadly, it looked like Siegfried was going to get an answer. Siegfried jumped into the mud despite the fact that the mud was capable of messing with his chakra. He quickly did his job and forced Brain to open his eyes and made him gaze at his EMS.
"Tsukuyomi!" Siegfried exclaimed as he forced Brain into a 3 day long genjutsu.
After three seconds in reality. Siegfried came with Brain murmuring some incoherent words before being shoved deeper into the mud. Siegfried managed to obtain the information he needed about stopping Nirvana after a long torture session. Along with some information about Ivan Dreyar that would help in the distant future.
"The bastard isn't the only one behind it. I'll have to find Ivan on a later date. For now, I have to break this." Siegfried said as Nirvana continued to move.
"Naruto!" he heard his name being called.
Siegfried turned around to see Jura arrive with Fairy Tail. Although he couldn't see Richard or anyone else with him. Either they were fighting the rest of the dark mages or got separated. He couldn't afford to worry about anyone else yet.
However before Siegfried said anything, he quickly grabbed Erza from Natsu who was helping her walk. Erza's eyes widened with surprise at Siegfried embracing her.
"I'm so sorry Erza. I never meant… you were not supposed to see that." Siegfried said as he cradled her former crush.
Erza's face softened as she hugged Siegfried, "Naruto, it wasn't your fault. You couldn't control yourself." she said.
Siegfried pulled Erza's head closer to his chest, "And you still got hurt. Something I can never forgive myself for." he said. "Oh and Natsu are you alright?" he asked.
"I think I lost the feeling in my arm…" Natsu tried to say before being interrupted.
"Good to know." Siegfried said interrupting the Dragon Slayer. "Anyways, I managed to gain information from Brain. We need to move before Nirvana creates any needles destruction." he said.
"What happened to Cobra?" Jura asked.
"Defeated, along with Brain. Although with what he said, the sleeping one is possibly still fighting Richard." Siegfried answered as he lead the way.
"Naruto." Erza tried to speak up.
"Then we practically have them beat. Lyon and I already beat Racer and some dark mages." Gray added.
"Let's not forget the fact you defeated Angel." Jura said.
"Naruto." Erza spoke up again.
"So that makes 4 out of 6. We've practically beaten these guys!" Lucy exclaimed.
"You are really strong Naruto-san!" Wendy cheered.
"Naruto!" Erza tried raising her voice.
"I wanna fight! You cheap shotted me and Erza got in the way!" Natsu yelled as he suddenly gained feeling in his arm.
Erza grew a tick mark on her head, "Naruto I am talking to you!" she said before wincing in pain.
Siegfried sighed as he summoned a note pad and wrote a note, "Just go here, this should be the next location." he said as he handed the notepad to Jura.
Jura nodded, "That is fine, I will lead the group." he said as he took Natsu, Lucy and everyone else with him.
Siegfried grabbed onto Erza and lead him down a nearby path, "What Erza?" he asked.
"That transformation, what was that?" Erza demanded.
"Erza we don't have time for that. We have a mission to complete." Siegfried said.
Erza shook her head, "I need to know. If it's detrimental, you have to bring it up right now." she said.
"Some things are meant to be kept silent." Siegfried said.
"Naruto, I know about the curse or whatever it is. Mirajane told the truth and Levy read your journal!" Erza said staring into Siegfried's green eyes.
Siegfried gripped Erza's shoulders, "Under no circumstances are you to ever tell anyone!" he said.
"I can't stay silent about this! What happened isn't just a danger to everyone else but to your own health!" Erza argued.
"We will not be speaking of this. I'm glad to see you are alive and I prefer to keep it that way." Siegfried said as he wanted to end this discussion.
As he let go of Erza. The red haired mage quickly grasped his arm. Defiant on getting some answers, not out of pride because she isn't getting what she wants but because of her concern for someone else's health. Someone she long abandoned and didn't want to repeat the same mistake again.
"This is not over Naruto. I won't forget about this until you let me help you." Erza said before Siegfried shot her a glance.
"How can you help others if you won't be willing to listen?" Siegfried asked making Erza stiffen.
As this conversation ended, they heard a loud explosion in the distancec. Followed by the sight of a lot of rocks rising from the ground. Siegfried's hands curled into fists as he glared at the swamp he created where Brain was under.
"Either he managed to sneak a lie past me or he neglected to tell me about the booby trap." Siegfried said before feeling another presence.
Siegfried quickly pulled Erza to the side and tossed several kunai in the distance, "A few sharp toys won't hurt me." said an arrogant voice.
Standing before Erza and Siegfried was Brain's final subordinate, Midnight. The feminine looking boy did not show any signs of damage or fatigue. Meaning that Richard has likely been defeated and with little difficulty if Midnight took this long to arrive despite looking unharmed. Siegfried narrowed his eyes as all he knew about Midnight was that weapons couldn't reach him and neither did magic attacks.
"You getting angry at me before giving into despair? I wouldn't blame you." Midnight said with a smirk.
"Can you fight Erza?" Siegfried asked seeing the Nidaime Titania nod.
Midnight chuckled at the bravado and stood still with his arms extended. Almost as if he was begging for them to hit him. Siegfried didn't think much of it as he kept his guard up and ran at him first.

Siegfried landed his blow only to see it go through Midnight who still looked cocky. The Azure Knight would jump away as he saw Erza summon a wave of swords to rain down upon Midnight who slowly walked around them with ease. Seeing that he was getting a bit cocky, Siegfried put down his sword and formed hand seals.
"Lightning Style: False Darkness!" Siegfried yells as he unleashes spear shaped lightning from his mouth.
Midnight laughed it off as he made a mock jog motion around before stumbling once the jutsu hit. The dark mage let out a small breath.
"Woah, that one put some effort." Midnight taunted.
"Hold still coward!" Erza yelled as she continued to barrage Midnight who kept dodging her attacks.
"You need some new tricks." Midnight said before extending his hand towards her.
Before Erza realized it, the metal on her armor was being twisted around her body. To the point that it constricted her and felt as if she was being suffocated by a large snake. As Midnight continued to torture Erza, Siegfried threw a large fuma Shuriken at Midnight who had his back turned. Though the element of surprise failed as he dropped Erza and extended his hand to make the shuriken avoid him.
When suddenly Midnight looked surprised as the shuriken turned into a copy of Siegfried. Midnight had only a split second to react as he used his wrists to block the mid air kicks from Siegfried before being kicked into the ground. Midnight crawled backwards away from Siegfried who summoned a sword to his side in an attempt to impale Midnight. Before finding his armor also constricting him.
"You got lucky, but don't think it will happen again! My Reflection Magic won't let any of your attacks touch me!" Midnight said before Siegfried escaped his armor by sending it back into storage.
Now wearing his casual clothing, Siegfried summoned Kusanagi to his side, "Reflection? Wouldn't that send attacks back at me?" he asked.
Midnight smirked, "Of course, you can't hit me but I'm free to hit you." he said still sounding arrogant.
Siegfried nodded, "Erza, try to hit him at the same time as I!" he ordered as Erza nodded after escaping her armor.
"Robe of Yuen!" Erza called out as chose cloth over armor with a bisento as a weapon.
As the both of them charged at Midnight, the dark haired man tried to constrict Siegfried with his own clothes. As he did, he surprisingly maintained grip of his sword and cut off his clothes. Leaving him half naked and while Midnight could try to go for the underwear. He was more afraid of fighting a naked guy who put more effort into killing dark mages than covering his modesty. So he just kept his guard up for Erza as he stretched her clothes around only to see that she was in no pain whatsoever.
'Damn! They couldn't have figured out my power have they?' Midnight wondered as the Kusanagi was brought down onto him. He gritted his teeth as he saw the blade coming closer, "You won't touch a single hair on me! No matter how fast or strong you are!" he yelled out.
Before the Kusanagi could be manipulated in any way. The blade transformed into a snake and dashed for Midnight who was surprised again. Even more so as he screamed in pain as the serpent bit down on his arm and forced him onto his knees. Leaving him open to be kicked in the jaw by Siegfried. Midnight struggled to stand as Erza put her foot down on his back and applied lots of pressure.
"How did you hurt me?" Midnight croaked.
"If your can reflect magic. What does that have to say about physical attacks?" Siegfried asked as he changed back into some clothes.
Midnight's eyes widened as Erza continued for him, "I also noticed the delay in your reaction. Naruto turned into a shuriken and you tried to stop him but failed." she said. "Meaning you can stop magic and weapons, but not physical attacks." she said making Midnight glare at her.
"It's over, with Brain defeated and likely drowning under that swamp and now that Midnight is down. This operation is over." Siegfried said before hearing Midnight scream like a madman.
"I WON'T LOSE TO YOU! MY PRAYER WILL BE ANSWERED!" Midnight screamed as he was enveloped in red energy.
Siegfried quickly lifted up Erza in his arms as he backed away. Both witnessed Midnight transform into a hideous monster that towered over them. Then the world around them turned into a hellish inferno. Siegfried glared at Midnight who tried to intimidate them with his menacing appearance.
"Fools, this will never end. I…"
"Am and idiot." Siegfried said bluntly.
"Eh?" Erza asked.
"You still mock me? You are the arrogant one if you think you can…" Midnight was interrupted as the world started to turn back to normal.
He was suddenly human again and now being tied to a tree by it's roots. Midnight struggled to break free of his binds. When suddenly several copies of Gray wearing nothing but a loincloth appeared and started thrusting towards him.
"AHHHH! MAKE IT STOP!" Midnight screamed.
In reality
Erza sweat dropped, "What happened? He became a demon or something and now he's human." she asked. However what Siegfried did next terrified her, "Naruto?" she asked.
Siegfried laughed whole heartedly, "Erza, in the ninja lands there is a kunoichi named Kurenai who was renowned in her village for amazing genjutsu abilities. Genjutsu is the ability to cast illusions that dull the five senses. However she attempted this on a man with eyes like my own and she failed horribly." he said before gently putting her down and continuing to laugh.
"See Sieg? Isn't laughter the best medicine?" Naruto asked within him.
Erza put two and two together, "Are you telling me he used an illusion and you countered it?" she asked.
"GET AWAY FROM ME YOU FREAKS!" Midnight screamed as he thrashed around on the ground.
"And I put him in an illusion I use to punish Natsu." Siegfried added as he stopped laughing.
Erza felt a bit creeped out by the sudden sight of her former friend laughing out of nowhere. Little did she know about how outplayed Kurenai was against Itachi. Then again, until the Fourth Shinobi war ended, it was absolutely mandatory for the Konoha Ninja Academy teach a lot more then lectures as morality and history were completely irrelevant in battle. Then again most history wasn't cultural or anything important. For goodness sake, everyone called Minato Namikaze as Yondaime as if his title was his name. As if everyone suddenly forgot what his name was.
Now the academy demands a lot more physical and mental tests so you can't just rely on one form of jutsu the whole time unless there's a health related issue. So while people like Rock Lee can get a pass, you can't be like Kurenai who lacked more than a few par skills in tracking as it was useless in inevitable engagements. Lesson: Branch out, you don't need to be an expert in everything but you have to prepare for everything anyways.
That and if anyone feels stupid, Siegfried will remember the time TenTen told him that she blindfolded Neji Hyuuga. Who's clan focuses on using super X-Ray vision.
That aside, Siegfried lifted Midnight about an inch from the ground, "Make it stop!" Midnight pleaded as he was still trapped in the genjutsu.
"As you wish." Siegfried said before punching Midnight's head against the ground. "That's taken care of." he said before hearing loud shaking.
"What was that?" Erza asked.
"I don't know, but maybe Natsu's group ran into something." Siegfried said as he lead Erza towards the location Brain told him about.
With Natsu's group
After surviving a trap thanks to Jura's Earth Magic. Everyone still conscious was surprised by the sight of Brain's staff coming to life. The staff with a skull for a head revealed it was sentient and began to berate them for being idiots. Before deciding to use it's lightning magic to electrocute them. Before anyone realized it, Natsu and Gray spent nearly 20 minutes chasing around the stupid staff, introducing itself as Klodoa.
However the fun and games ended once they heard the sounds of lightning. It wasn't coming from Klodoa as he wasn't preparing to attack the two Fairy Tail wizards yet.
"Huh?" Klodoa asked.
"Lightning Flash!" said a voice.
Suddenly, a fuma shuriken covered in lightnign appeared in the air and came down upon Klodoa. Who was far too slow to react in time before his handle was completely shattered. Along with the giant blue orb that was in his mouth.
"We leave you and the poor girls alone for a few minutes. Yet you can't handle fighting a wooden stick?" Siegfried asked as he and Erza revealed themselves.
"Naruto you stole my fight again!" Natsu yelled hard enough that fire came out of his mouth.
Gray sweat dropped at the realization, "I think the fact we want to call dibs on fighting a stick. Really defines our line of work, ash mouth." he said as Natsu growled at him.
Meanwhile Klodoa screamed in terror, "No! The monster is here! Lord Zero is upon us!" he yelled.
Siegfried lifted up Klodoa's skull, "What has happened? What are you talking about?" he asked before feeling a large tremor.
The skull started to shake fearfully, "Lord Zero, he's a dangerous nihilistic personality locked away within Brain. He would feel no peace without seeing the world burn and now that the six warriors are defeated. That won't stop Lord Zero from appearing!" he yells.
With Brain
A large beam of energy shot out from the mud as the pressure released from Brain's body had skyrocketed to the point that Nirvana started to shake. Brain stood up as only a few lines were left on his face as they started to glow red. The scientist and leader of the Oracion Seis was soon replaced by an unhinged man with pale skin and blood red eyes who looked very gleeful.
"I see the Oracion Seis has fallen. No matter, Nirvana is here and I can use it to destroy the world! But first!" Brain, now named Zero, pulled out a bag from his coat. Zero laughed like a madman as he unsealed the contents and watched a godly amount of sand release itself, "Go my pet! With Brain's magic circles, you will obey no one but me and bless me with destruction!" he yelled as the sand fell off the weapon and transformed into a large beast.
Back with the group
Klodoa let out a loud yell, "He's coming! Lord Zero truly has awakened and is on his way here!" he screamed fearfully.
Before anyone realized it, Brain's other persona had arrived, "Yes I am." he said.
Everyone got into a defensive stance, "Again? I thought you beat him Naruto!" Natsu yelled.
"I will have to do it again it seems." Siegfried said as he reached for Soul Calibur.
Zero picked up Klodoa's skull, "It appears you haven't destroyed them yet." he said.
"Forgive me Lord Zero! But these pests just refuse to die!" Klodoa yelled before being squeezed.
"Then I have no use for you. How can anything be destroyed if I cannot depend on a lowly skull?" Zero asked before using all his strength to crush Klodoa into dust.
"You jerk! He was your sidekick!" Natsu yelled angrily.
"I have no need for underlings! All I want is to destroy this world!" Zero yelled, revealing the extent to his madness.
Just as everyone was about to attack Brain's alter ego. The madman charged an excessive amount of magical power in his hands. Before unleashing a powerful torrent onto Fairy Tail.
"Dark Rondo!" Zero casted but unlike with Klodoa, this output of power was far superior.
So superior that everyone took a great big hit that nearly buried them under the building they were standing in. With Zero feeling satisfied for the moment. He travelled back to the center of Nirvana. Where he patiently awaited for it to reach Cait Shelter and begin it's destruction of the world. At least that's what Zero believed Nirvana was capable of alone.
While the attack from Dark Rondo was powerful, everyone was still alive and able to move to some extent. With Siegfried standing up first as he carried someone in his arms.
"I'm glad you're alright. I wouldn't know what to do if something horrible happened to you." Siegfried said somberly.
Erza's eyes widened at Siegfried's kind and courageous gesture.
"Thanks for the save Naruto!" Lucy said as she was being held in his arms.
"You're welcome, Levy would be devastated if something happened to her best friend. That and you're always someone nice to have around." Siegfried said as Lucy giggled.
Meanwhile poor Erza was ignored and looked like a rag doll that was hit by a truck. She didn't understand how she somehow traded spots with Lucy. Although Happy recovered quickly and decided to tease Lucy again.
"Wow you saved the worst for last." Happy said with his daily casual insult.
"Oh the cat's here. I forgot he existed." Siegfried said as Happy face faulted making Lucy giggle.
"The jokes aren't supposed to go back to me!" Happy whined.
"I thought being with Natsu taught you something Happy. Don't start a fire unless you want to be burned." Siegfried replied.
*DRUM KIT SOUND EFFECT*
"Of course you can try again with new material. Preferably one that's not flammable." Siegfried added.

'Where did that comedic side come from? I never told jokes in the past life or as a child.' Siegfried wondered while Happy recovered from his embarrassment.
After that ended, everyone slowly recovered before running off to look for Zero. When they started their search, they were stopped by another earthquake. It wasn't technically an earthquake per se as it was a giant machine moving above ground, but nonetheless it was very difficult to stand still. It only got apparently worse as they saw a giant amount of mana being built up at the front of Nirvana as if it was preparing to fire like a projectile weapon.
Before anything bad could happen, Nirvana was struck by various smaller magic projectiles. The entire structure briefly stood only on one side as the magic cannon fire wildly into the sky. Fairy Tail didn't know it, but Zero was very angry and displeased that Nirvana failed to hit Cait Shelter. All thanks to the ally they least expected.
"Look! It's the Christina!" Gray pointed out at the sky.
And right he was, the airship of Blue Pegasus was flying in the sky once again. The remnants of Blue Pegasus and Lamia Scale regrouped and managed to get the Christina flying again to dominate the battle from the heavens themselves. Only it was a struggle as Hibiki and the other were having trouble keeping airship together long enough to keep Nirvana from hitting it's targets.
"Hey guys!" Hibiki called out through his mental connection.
"Hibiki!" everyone replied back.
"We managed to get the Christina back online but we won't be able to hold out for so long. Since it's taking up every ounce of magic we have to keep us together." Hibiki said before explanation his newest discovery. "We can't stop Nirvana forever, but we did find weak spots within each leg. You have to reach their cores and destroy them. I'll send you all a map to find them now." He said before the Christina swirved away.
"What the heck was that!?" Natsu asked as he saw a giant wave of sand almost hit the airship.
"I don't know, I think they brought some kind of animal familiar. Like a… giant reindeer made of sand?" Hibiki asked before avoding another wave of sand.
Siegfried narrowed his eyes as he saw the creature's head, "That's not a reindeer, that's a tanuki." he said.
"Does it matter what animal it is?" Gray asked sounding clueless.
"No but it's power and origin does." Siegfried said as he stepped away from the group and formed several hand seals. Before slamming the ground as a giant seal appeared, "Kuchiyose: Kurama." he said when everyone was surprised by the sight of Kurama in his hodded disguise.
"What do you want gaki?" Kurama asked sounding peeved.
"Your brother says he misses you." Siegfried said sarcastically as Kurama turned to see someone he absolutely loathed.
"Shukaku." Kurama growled before running and jumping off of Nirvana.
"Naruto stop him! He's going to…!" Erza tried to say before Kurama transformed into his bijuu form.
Everyone minus Siegfried fell onto their butts as they witnessed Kurama's ferocious and gigantic appearance. One that towered over Nirvana and could easily flip it over with a few swings of his tail. However he knew better than to cause more destruction than he needed to.
"Shukaku you idiot. What are you doing here of all places?" Kurama asked only to hear silence. Before the giant tanuki launched an air bullet at him, "The silent treatment only makes me angrier. Quite surprising because I hate the sound of your voice." he said before tackling the tanuki and shaking the entire machine.
"What is that thing!?" Gray asked.
"It's a giant fox!" Lucy screamed.
"Scary!" Happy whined.
"Ignore him, Hibiki should be sending those maps. I will go deal with Zero." Siegfried said before Natsu stopped him.
"I call dibs!" Natsu yelled.
"You call something but get nothing." Siegfried replied.
This only made Natsu angry, "You have to respect dibs first Naruto!" he yelled.
"You can fight yourself. I will deal with the dark mage." Siegfried said before disappearing in a shunshin.
Natsu sneered, "Why does he steal all my fights!?" he asked angrily.
Lucy sighed, "That doesn't matter Natsu. Now go do your part of the job." she said.
"Fine!" Natsu barked as he picked one of the cores on the map Hibiki sent.
With Siegfried
Siegfried reappeared at another part of Nirvana just as Hibiki called him, "Naruto-san, I sent you a map too. I don't want to downplay anyone but I don't think Happy or Carla have any offensive techniques. So that means only 5 people will be able to destroy the cores." Hibiki explained.
Siegfried nodded, "Understood, I'll take the sixth core while I'm on the search for Zero." he said.
"I wish Ino had this kind of power on our missions." Naruto said impressed by Hibiki's magic.
"I think Inoichi-san did this during the war. Although I think he was hooked up to a machine. I can't remember details." Siegfried replied.
"Did he? I wish I had fancy magic in my day." Naruto said.
"You would have blown yourself up without instruction or taken a month to figure it out without help." Siegfried replied as Naruto grumbled.
"Naruto-san, I can still hear you. Also are you arguing with yourself?" Hibiki asked.
"It's just my insanity, ignore it Hibiki." Siegfried said as Hibiki sweat dropped.
"Okay, I don't know who Ino is but I'm glad to be of help." Hibiki said before disconnecting.
The sixth core
When Siegfried arrived at the core hoping to destroy it and get it out of the way. He glared as he saw Zero standing there with his arms behind his back. As if he were patiently waiting for him.
"I see I was granted great fortune that we may battle again." Zero said with his evil smile present.
Siegfried drew Soul Calibur, "I broke my cardinal rule again. Always double tap." he said as Zero chuckled.
"A fine rule indeed. Now you will be reminded of it forever in the afterlife!" Zero shouts as he dashes at Siegfried. "Dark Rondo!" He shouts as he blasts his magic directly at Siegfried.
The Azure Knight slammed down Soul Calibur into the ground. Using all of it's crystals to block the attack but with greater difficulty this time. As nearly all of them were destroyed by Zero's greater power output. From what Siegfried could guess, Brain might not only have sealed a more dangerous personality but a portion of his own power. Similar to a mad enhancement in a way, trading sanity for power. Though there are some who have that ability but have enough intelligence to communicate to a limited extent.
With that in mind, Siegfried ducked as Zero smashed his fists through the few crystals. Just narrowly avoiding the crazed man's heavy punches. At the same time, Siegfried winced in pain as the previous fights along with Nightmare having gained control had taken a toll on his body. Making it easier for Zero as he noticed Siegfried getting sloppier.
"You should have rested first! No worry, you will rest soon!" Zero shouted as he punched Siegfried in the gut before slamming him face first into the ground. Siegfried grunted in pain before Zero kicked him away, "This will not take too long after all." he said arrogantly before Siegfried stood up again.
Siegfried took a few deep breaths before transforming Soul Calibur into a broadsword, "I'm nowhere near finished." He said.
(Naruto Shippuden OST - Fourth Hokage)
Zero laughed, "Good!" he screamed as he ran right up to Siegfried.
Zero tossed another punch at his foe before Soul Calibur transformed again. This time into the form of a zweihander. Zero looked surprised as the heavy sword's sudden appearance blocked his attack and made him stumble back. Siegfried made an upward slash that sent Zero flying high into the air. Before the albino man could recover, Siegfried jumped up and slashed at Zero several times before landing a heavy downward slash sending him crashing into the ground.
Zero let out a loud gasp as blood escaped his mouth before rolling away. Siegfried crashed into the ground as he missed an attempt to stab Zero. The madman cracked his neck before powering up his magic.
"I see you are still willing to fight in your condition." Zero said as Siegfried tried to hide his fatigue. "However that is not good enough! Zero Slash!" he yells as he creates two magic whips to strike at Siegfried.
The Azure Knight did his best to avoid each slash before being hit and sent crashing into the center pillar of the room. Where he was hit again while on the ground before being lifted up and tossed again. Siegfried quickly formed a hand seal with one hand as the whip shaped magic came back to attack him again.
"Fire Style: Great Fireball Jutsu!" He yells as the Zero whips away the fireball.
"Sure you can do better than that!" Zero exclaimed until he noticed Siegfried disappeared.
Zero looked all around for the sneaky knight before noticing him in the air. Zero summoned his whips again before hitting Siegfried and making him shatter into little bright lights as if he were made of fairy dust. It was at this point that Zero realized that Siegfried could use clone magic and unlike Shadow Clones, they break into mana fragments rather than smoke. Not only that, but Siegfried made several more to ambush the dark mage.
Zero failed to destroy them all with his whips before one clone twisted his arm and allowed another clone to hit Zero in the face. Zero almost fell to the ground until he recovered and slapped them away. Leaving room for more clones to repeatedly kick him back and forth until another pair appeared and uppercutted him in the chin.
Once Zero descended into a painful landing. The man continued to be barraged by clones until he had enough and destroyed them.
"Dark Delete!" Zero shouts as he fires dark projectiles from his finger tips to destroy each clone.
When suddenly, he sensed Siegfried behind him. The blond charged up a Rasengan to strike him from behind. Zero growled as he used Dark Delete again to destroy him before the jutsu could hit it's target. However this time he was surprised by smoke as another Siegfried appeared and slammed the orb into his back.
"Odama Rasengan!" Siegfried shouted as Zero twirled into the wall.
As Zero was embedded into the wall and tried to break free. Siegfried fell to a single knee and started to pant. Mentally cursing himself as he believed that he still hasn't recovered yet from his awakening and fight from Laxus. He blamed it on that as he was never this exhausted after being turned into Nightmare.
'Then again, Cobra was still tricky to fight and Midnight was very troublesome to deal with.' Siegfried thought as he tried picking up his sword again. He slowly stood up as Zero got himself unstuck and came back to the fight, 'Wind Style: Great Breakthrough!" he shouts as he sends Zero flying away.
However this wind technique didn't stop Zero as he had enough strength and resistance to avoid going too far away. He grinned as the wind calmed down and he landed safely on the ground.
"I hope you didn't think a couple of ninja tricks would be enough." Zero said as he was still willing to keep fighting
(Naruto OST - Rising Fighting Spirit)
Siegfried let out another breath, "Of course not, but don't think it doesn't take on trick to do so much." he said before creating more magic clones.
"This is getting annoying. Dark Capricio: Scream!" Zero yells as his magic got stronger and destroyed each clone before they could attack. "It's hopeless! Everything I touch will be destroyed!" he yelled as he ran up to Siegfried and punched him right in the face.
"AUGH!" Siegfried screamed as Zero continously punched him before knocking him onto the ground.
"This pointless fight no longer amuses me!" Zero exclaimed as he kept attacking Siegfried.
"Fire Style: Fire Breath!" Siegfried manages to call out as he unleashed a bright torrent of flames at Zero.
Zero skid back as he put out the flames that singed parts of his face and his clothes. In return, Siegfried gathered up his strength to run at Zero and hit him back. Before once again slashing at him up at the sky. Where Siegfried would then summon bandages around his arms that would remove themselves and wrap around Zero's body. To Zero's surprise, Siegfried grabbed him and turned him upside down.
"Omote Renge!" Siegfried shouted as he started spinning around rapidly.
Just as they were about a foot away from the ground. Siegfried let go of Zero and hopped away just as the man landed headfirst into the ground. Siegfried stumbled before falling onto his side from the impact and having to use one of the gates. A difficult but powerful technique that Siegfried was grateful Rock Lee had taught him. Unlike that cheap incomplete imitation that the Uchiha made. Sadly this made Siegfried feel more exhausted and prompted him to lie on the floor and catch his breath.

"It's over." Siegfried muttered as he panted rapidly before looking at the orb. "Hopefully I still have time to gather up my energy and destroy it." he said as his entire body was throbbing.
Unfortunately, his foe was far too determined to keep fighting until death claimed him. Zero was more determined at winning than Brain was at being a genius. Zero laughed as he ripped off the sleeves of his jacket and started placing sheets of paper on his arms with magic circles on them.
"I'll take you with me if I have too! This is the power I wanted to use but never expected to resort to so early!" Zero said as his body started to turn red and his pupils turned completely white.
Zero screamed as a powerful but deadly aura leaked from his body. To the point Siegfried couldn't see as he felt like he was facing headfirst at a squall. Before he realized it, Zero was already in front of him and lifted him up into the air before crashing him into the center pillar of the room.
'The Eight Gates, he somehow managed to recreate it.' Siegfried thought with surprise before Zero lifted him up again.
"You like it!? I sure do! It hurts you more than it does me!" Zero screamed as he ran and shoved Siegfried across the wall until the knight switched to his tribute armor.
Zero would then crash Siegfried through a wall and into the center of the corridor room. Where Siegfried attempted to counterattack with one of his swords before being repeatedly punched and kicked until he slided towards the exit.
"Finally! I can end this! Genesis Zero!" Zero shouts as he blasts Siegfried with a wave of phantoms that envelope him. Zero laughed as Siegfried struggled to break free, "It is too late! You will be erased from this world!" he yelled gleefully.
With Siegfried
Siegfried struggled to breath as the spell made him feel as if he were trapped in the vacuum of space. Yet at the same time, he was still and unmoving. As if he had lost control of all free will in his body. Siegfried couldn't do so much as to tap into his chakra thinking he could break this like he would a genjutsu. Then again, it's not like he could perform any techniques or have access to his dojutsu.
'I have to move. This thing is practically suffocating me rather than erasing.' Siegfried thought as he tried forcing a lot of pressure into even the smallest parts of his body. 'Just one technique, one thing that could help me break free.' he thought as gasped for air.
Every second he was trapped, Siegfried felt as if his heart was literally burning. Every beat felt like a hammer banging within his chest. The lack of oxygen felt as if his skin was going numb. His unmoving eyes starting to go dry without blinking. At the same time, he felt exhausted both physically and mentally. For some reason, this terrifying feeling felt as if it were familiar.
'Why does it feel familiar?' Siegfried wondered.
*ZAP*
'What was that?' Siegfried wondered again.
*ZAP*
'This sensation. I know I've felt it!' Siegfried thought as his eyelids started to move.
*ZAP*
'Like a battery, I feel like a battery being charged up, but how?' Siegfried kept thinking as his fingers started to twitch.
*ZAP*
'I can move! I know I can! I just need more!' Siegfried thought as the sparks moved around his body.
*ZAP ZAP ZAP ZAP ZAP*
Siegfried started to feel a load of electricity forming around his body. Yet that didn't make it any easier to breath. All Siegfried got in return was feeling and movement in his body. However despite the pain, he thought it was enough.
'Come on! Just a little more! I just need energy!' Siegfried thought as he prayed for more energy.
*ZAP ZAP ZAP ZAP ZAP ZAP ZAP ZAP ZAP ZAP ZAP*
"GRAH!" Siegfried screamed as he could feel his entire body being cooked up at this point. 'Pain is temporary.' He thought.
*ZAP*
'It can last for a minute, an hour or even a day but eventually it will subside.'
*ZAP*
'If I quit now, it's going to last forever.' Siegfried thought as he clenched his fists before moving them together.
*ZAP*
'Something else will take the place of my pain.' he thought as his vision got dark.
*ZAP*
With Zero
Zero laughed as Nirvana was no more than a minute and a half away from firing. By the time Siegfried was trapped in hi Genesis Zero, the Christina had already crashed into the ground and was likely destroyed. Possibly from the fact that everyone onboard the airship had run out of mana. Making it impossible to stay in the air any longer let alone stay to fire on Nirvana to prevent it from destroying Cait Shelter.
"Yes, everything will be destroyed! My pain will not matter when everything is gone!" Zero shouted as his skin started to peel from his body using the improvised version of the Eight Gates.
Before he realized it, a giant explosion occurred from behind him. Right where Siegfried was being devoured by the spell. When suddenly, the entire room started to fall apart as a giant sentient dragon made from lightning appeared. The majestic beast let out a roar as it's sheer size was too much for the room to contain. Zero stumbled back as he tried to find room to find a way combat the dragon. Until he noticed what created the flashing monster.
"Impossible! You should have been erased!" Zero exclaimed as he pointed as Siegfried who came walking out unscathed.
"Kirin." was all Siegfried said before the dragon crashed down onto Zero.
Outside, with Kurama
Kurama managed to burn most of Shukaku's sandy body into glass. Before all that was left was a tanuki the size of a large hill. By then, Kurama just lifted his younger sibling by the throat with one of his tails.
"Come on you stupid reindeer! You think you're as good as me!? You can't even fight outside the sand for too long!" Kurama roared out before repeatedly punching his brother.
After a few minutes of impassive silence. Shukaku started screaming and whining.
"OW OW OW OW! KURAMA YOU BASTARD! STOP BEATING ME UP!" Shukaku screamed.
"Then stop attacking the guild you stupid reindeer!" Kurama yelled.
"I'M A TANUKI! NOT A REINDEER! ALSO… what guild? Where are we? I don't remember leaving the desert." Shukaku said as if he forgot where he was.
Kurama growled before squeezing his brother's throat tightly, "What the hell happened to you?" he asked with a glare.
"Hey look!" Shukaku said as Kurama noticed the giant lightning powered dragon.
"That kid is in trouble again. 30 years and he's still hurting himself." Kurama said.
Shukaku sweat dropped, "What are you talking about?" he asked before being tossed away.
With Siegfried
(Fate Apocrypha OST - Amakusa Shirou Tokisada)
Siegfried grunted as the lightning sparked around his body, "I can breath now." he muttered before Zero appeared.
The crazed man came crashing out of a lot of stone debris as his body became a darker shade of red along with his hair. Every second that passed, his body matched the same shade of color as his face along with veins pulsing all over hid body. Zero cackled like a madman as he could feel more power literally coursing through his veins despite the heavy toll it was taking on his body.
"How hard is it to kill a homunculus? You're all just batteries!" Zero screamed as he ran up to Siegfried.
Zero landed his punched that created a gigantic crater in it's wake. Only to be surprised to see Siegfried was not there. He was less than a foot behind Zero. As green electricity surged from his entire body.
"I'm much more than a homunculus." Siegfried replied.
With a war cry, Zero launched himself from the spot where he once stood. Less than a second later, Siegfried side stepped as Zero almost took his head off with a single punch. Siegfried took the chance to strike Zero while he was open to kick him in the abdomen. Zero bent down as he gasped for air before being grabbed by his jacket and punched three times across the face before he returned the favor. Grabbing Siegfried's helmet and slammed him against the ground.
As Zero recovered and prepared to stomp on the back of his head. Siegfried blasted Zero away with a giant surge of electricity.
Zero glared Siegfried, "Zero Slash!" he yells as he tries to attack with his whips.
"Now you fall! Lightning Style: Electromagnetic Murder!" Siegfried countered as green lightning poured from his fingertips.
The magic whips soon found themselves dissipating when blasted away by the lightning technique. Before Zero himself was blasted into the ground. Though this only aggravated him as he poured more energy into strengthening himself. Soon believing that all he could do now was use physical power to defeat Siegfried. Before once again rushing at Siegfried with his fists.
"Excalibur Mimic!" Siegfried called out as he pulled out the sword he obtained from Laxus.
As Zero arrived in front of Siegfried's presence, the Azure ducked down and avoided the kicks that followed the attack. Siegfried countered with rapid slashes which Zero avoided easily but not without eventually falling and taking a large cut to the leg.
"The Eight Gates grant strength and power, but at the cost of your health. You only increased the chance of death than victory." Siegfried said as he avoided another punch.
"It no longer matters once you are all destoryed!" Zero yelled, not noticing Nirvana collapsing behind him.
Siegfried smiled behind his helmet, 'They destroyed the cores. Now it's time for me to finish this.' he thought.
Zero continued to attack Siegfried with a flurry of kicks and punches. Which Siegfried could manage to block or avoid thanks to the electrical enhancements. Even going as far as making Zero fly away again by unleashing another explosive wave electricity. This only further annoyed Zero as he used the remaining power he had to keep running back at Siegfried who continued to block each attack before countering with a quick slash to the chest.
Knocking him into the ground.
"I see, I should have focused on destroying those around me without destroying myself first." Zero grunted.
"There will be less destruction with you around." Siegfried said a Zero's insane grin never left his face.
"Do not make promises you cannot keep!" Zero yelled as he managed to land punch to the gut.
One strong enough to dent his chest armor. Before dropping a heavy elbow to the back of his head before being kicked away. Zero laughed as Siegfried struggled to stand before being kicked into the ground again. Fortunately, Siegfried wouldn't let a few hits finish him off. As he grabbed Zero's fist before landing another punch to his face followed by several more until he was tossed away.
With Rapidly still in hand, Siegfried ran at Zero at full speed leaving several craters in his wake. With Zero doing the same as he repeatedly recovered to keep fighting. After another trade of blows, Zero landed the next hit by kicking Siegfried's helmet off and slapping him. However Siegfried stood his ground and bashed Zero on one of his ear's with the fist holding his sword. Zero let out a pain filled scream as he clutched his now blood ear.
Siegfried refusing to allow Zero to continue fighting regardless of how badly wounded he was, brought down Rapidly. Zero in return tried to block it with his free arm. The two fighters gritted their teeth as the energy surrounding them destroyed a big portion of the forest that wasn't already destroyed by Nirvana. As Zero managed to push Siegfried's new sword away, he didn't have time to attack or defend as Siegfried repeatedly slashed at Zero until his free arm was severed.
Zero screamed as he tried to clutch his now bloody stump. As Siegfried took a knee and tried to regain his breath. Sadly, he remembered his philosophy and his cardinal rule that he mentioned earlier.
"This won't end unless I make." Siegfried said as he struggled to stand on his own.
Even while Zero was preoccupied with his permanent disfigurement. The dark mage's power slowly died down as his body was charred and burning away from the Eight Gates destroying his body. Leaving what looked like a thin piece of toast in the shape of a man. The only good thing about this is Siegfried accidentally destroyed one of the magic circles on Zero's arms and might have negated the other somehow. Regardless, the usage of such a risky technique still did permanent damage.
Hence why Siegfried was too afraid to ever go near the sixth gate as the eighth was absolute death, but before them was practically destruction of the body. Now here he lied at the Azure Knight's mercy.
"Destruction… need to… destroy… will not… die… until everything…"
"Let me destroy you then." Siegfried interrupted as he put Rapidly away.
Siegfried charged up a lot of mana into his arm before summoning a gate behind Zero. Zero's eyes widened as he found himself being pulled in by the demonic looking gate as the head above it laughed with excitment. Zero tried to drag himself away with his remaining arm until the gate dragged him away and tried to close the doors.
"NO! YOU CAN'T TAKE ME YET! THERE IS STILL SO MUCH LEFT! I CAN'T! I REFUSE! YOU.. YOU ARE THE REAL MADMAN!" Zero screamed.
Siegfried narrowed his eyes as his hand closed into a fist, "GATE… OF VALHALLA!" he screams as the gate locks Zero inside.
As Zero screamed and begged for a do over, the evil head laughed, "If you live through this, you've earned my respect. Another soul for Hela does me proud." the statue said before disappearing.

With that, Siegfried gagged as he felt like he was about to vomit. Before feeling a greater pain go through his entire body. Siegfried panted as the pain slowly went away but not in a good way. As his entire body felt empty, hollow and freezing at the same time. Almost as if he were a living corpse. Not too long would the lightning that empowered go away
"I shouldn't have used that. It takes a toll on my health." Siegfried muttered as his pupils dilated.
Siegfried struggled to stay conscious but at this point. He was beyond any limit he had been through in this lifetime. He could only hope that all goes well regardless of whatever happens. He mentally laughed as he could almost hear Inferno's screams about him waking up and staying alive. Almost as if he were concerned about dying himself when the demon could find another host. Not that Kurama would let that happen, the fox would find a solution, if only temporary, as to keep the world from being dominated by a demon of greater hatred.
Yet, it's almost as if life wouldn't let Naruto's reincarnation move on just yet.
For a brief moment, Siegfried's eyes opened and he regained feeling in his body. With the freezing temperature leaving his body. Even more, he felt something soft and warm under head. Along with someone or something stroking his shortened spiky hair. He tried to look up and all he could see was a bright smile before he lost consciousness.
A while later
Siegfried opened his eyes to see a chibi Kurama sitting on him, "You almost died again dumb ass." he said.
"Good morning to you to." Siegfried said sarcastically before wincing.
"Hold still, I should heal you. There's no hospital here and you just woke up from a coma." Kurama said as he started emitting a green energy.
"Since when do you know medicine?" Siegfried asked.
"Living with a dragon who earns your respect will motivate your to branch out." Kurama said.
"That and the only good thing of you being sealed is faster healing. Though a lot better when you're whole." Siegfried said.
"I'm around 80% whole, not shut up and let me heal you." Kurama said.
"Where's the Ichibi?" Siegfried asked ignoring his advice.
Kurama sighed, "I whooped his ass and he ran." he answered.
A few minutes later, Siegfried sensed someone arriving.
"Naruto!" he heard a female voice say.
Siegfried turned his head, "Erza…" he muttered.
Erza kneeled beside Siegfried, "Naruto! I saw the giant blast and then the sonic impacts! Then…"
"Erza you're kneeling on my stomach." Siegfried said as Erza yipped and adjusted herself.
"I'm sorry, but when I saw…"
"I'm fine, I'm always fine." Siegfried said pretending that he didn't feel as if a building collapsed on him.
Erza gripped her skirt, "You're not fine! After the events of earlier and then that explosion! I… everyone's worried about you!" she exclaimed.
Siegfried sighed, "Erza, for tonight. Just let me rest. I did my job, I slayed dark mages, lost control, slayed more dark mages, settled an old issue… just don't force yourself. You being worried only makes it worse on me." he said.
Erza couldn't help but to feel worried, "Then let me help you." she pleaded.
Siegfried sighed again, "Then maybe you can make things more comfortable." he said.
Before he realized it, Erza lifted Siegfried's head and placed it on her lap, "Does that help?" she asked.
Siegfried's eyes widened for a moment, "A little bit." he answered truthfully before closing his eyes.
The next morning, Cait Shelter guild
Earlier, the Rune Knights from a newly rebuilt Magic Council had arrived. They had arrested Richard along with the other members of the Oracion Seis. Except for Brain/Zero for obvious reasons, which Siegfried had to explain. Along with any dark mages that managed to survive as well. Though the Rune knights had to work fast as Siegfried suddenly looked like a zombie dragging himself from the grave as he tried crawling after the dark mages.
Though funny to the higher rank members within the government as they read the report. It was terrifying to see Siegfried trying to attack them like a wild animal. At least until Kurama and Erza restrained Siegfried.
Now, everyone was hoping to celebrate their victory at Cait Shelter. Although many of the wizards never heard of Cait Shelter before, not even Siegfried. Although he could see some guilt on Kurama's face until both he and the fox noticed something off about the guild. Something the guild master was hiding.
"I commend your efforts and thank you for saving us." Roubaul said gratefully.
Siegfried gave Kurama a knowing look.
"Hey we deserve a victory party!" Natsu suggested as everyone started doing a stupid dance.
Siegfried noticed that Erza looked serious. Meaning that she likely knew about the secret behind the guild. As Roubaul and his people were silent and looking very serious as well.
"I am truly sorry, please accept my sincere apology for I have yet to tell the truth." Roubaul said despite some of them still wanting to party. "We are not the descendants of the Nirvit people. We are the Nirvit people and created Nirvana to stop the mindset of destruction of others. However the peace we created did not last long. As with all there is good, there is always darkness." he explained.
Everyone looked at the elder in confusion. After a long explanation about morality. Roubaul explained how Nirvana absorbed all the evils of the world as did it's inhabitants. For the Nirvits killed each other after absorbing evil despite being naturally kind hearted people. With Roubaul being the sole survivor, until he corrected himself.
"In truth, I'm merely a thought projection. A little sample of what's left of the real Roubaul." the elder said as Siegfried winced.
He could almost feel a jab at his existence. However it looked like Wendy was starting to suffer as she saw all the people she knew in her life disappear.
"NO ONE I KNEW WAS THE REAL PERSON!?" Wendy screamed.
"Don't fret dear, you and Carla don't need imaginary friends. You have real friends now." Roubaul said as he pointed at everyone behind her. Roubaul slowly started to disappear as well, "Goodbye Wendy." He said before disappearing.
"MASTER!" Wendy screamed as she tried to reach him, only grasping nothing but air.
Wendy collapsed onto her knees as she cried at losing the only home she knew. Despite this, Erza tried to reach out to the child only for Wendy to slap her hand away. Acting out of grief, Wendy ran away to pour her heart out from losing the only family she knew. Siegfried placed a hand on Erza's shoulder to keep her from going after Wendy. At the same time, no one noticed Kurama sneaking away.
With Wendy
Wendy sobbed as the entire secret behind Cait Shelter hit all at once right away. Someone as young and naive as Wendy was heartbroken and her emotions ran rampant. Leaving her confused and depressed and even alone in some way. Before she realized it, she felt a hand on her shoulder.
"Go away." Wendy said with a hiccup.
When the hand left her, she felt something else pick her up. Wendy yipped in surprise as she noticed an orange tail grab her by the waist.
"Wendy, why are you crying? Aren't you a big girl now?" asked a familiar voice.
Wendy turned her head to meet the owner of the voice, "Papa?" she asked.
"Yes Wendy, papa is back." Kurama said now in his human-ish form.
Wendy's eyes began to water again, "Papa… PAPA!" Wendy cried out as she hugged him as tightly as possible.
Days later
Wendy looked up at the large building that belonged to Fairy Tail, "Is this a real guild? Or is it an illusion too?" she asked Kurama who was carrying her.
"I was in an emotional state Wendy. Bijuu's can't raise humans." Kurama said.
"Why not?" Wendy asked.
Kurama sighed, "You would be ruined. Just look at Naruto." he said.
Siegfried was carrying Erza like a princess, "Almost there Erza. You can rest once we're there." He said.
Erza on the other hand blushed, "I'm not the one grievly injured! You should put me down!" she exclaimed.
"Nope, think of this as your punishment." Siegfried said.
"What punishment?" Erza asked.
"The fact that you lost your sword. Erza, I left you that sword as a gift and you almost lost it. I swear, if you lost that eye scope, I would give all your gifts to Mirajane." Siegfried explained. "That is unless she cooked Filo after starving herself." he added.
Inside
"We made it back alive and Naruto isn't in a coma!" Natsu yelled as they all ran inside.
Siegfried gently placed Erza on a seat before facing Mira, "Hello Mirajane, where's Filo?" He asked.
Mira smiled as she presented a chicken dinner, "I think you'll know soon. I think you two need to eat up first." she said ever so happily.
Siegfried slowly pulled out one of his swords, "Mirajane Strauss… this better not be little Filo." he said as Mirajane looked nervous.
When suddenly, "PAPA!" a child's voice screamed a giant bird bursted through the wall.
"Filo?" Erza and Siegfried asked.
Even more surprising for them, Filo turned into a small child with angel like wings, "I missed you and mama Erza!" she said before running up to Siegfried and hugging his legs.
"What?" Siegfried asked.
"I missed you, but now you and both my mama's are here! We can eat lunch like a family!" Filo said excitedly.
"I think all that electricity fried my brain. I Just saw a bird I hatched turn into a human." Siegfried muttered.
Cana, who was walking by, handed him a beer jug, "Take this, it makes it all better." she whispered.
Siegfried passed out, likely from shock and his wounds. Although Cana took her beer jug back and drank it.
"PAPA!" Filo screamed.

As Siegfried left for his job again. Filo started working on a cake to give to her adoptive father. All the while Wendy decided to help.
"Thanks Wen! You're a good friend!" Filo said as she started working on the candles.
"Um Filo, why is there two brides on the cake?" Wendy asked.
Filo smiled, "So papa can know that mama Erza and mama Mira are waiting for him." she said just as the two women arrived. "Mama's! Here hold this! I need to get extra icing!" she said as she handed her cake over to them.
The next thing the girls knew, Levy and Lucy arrived, "I knew it!" Levy exclaimed.
"Wow… I never knew but… I'm happy for you two." Lucy tried to say kindly.
Erza and Mira blushed, "It's not what you think!" they both said.
When suddenly Makarov arrived, "Hello girls, how's… ARE YOU TWO FINALLY GETTING TOGETHER!?" he asked as if this was a thing.
"WE WERE NEVER TOGETHER!" they both yelled.
"So you girls just started?" Makarov asked as both women glared at him.
"Three cheers for Mira and Erza coming out!" Gray yelled.
"HIP HIP! HOORAY!"
"I'm not lesbian!" Mira and Erza cried before Filo came back wondering what was happening.
