Episode 438: Luxray Vision
Before we begin this chapter, I wanted to bring up something I didn't bring up from my notes from the previous chapter. I'm planning on doing an redemption arc for Silver Moon, making him regret everything he pretty much did, but the one to reach for him would be Kanako, and he would be an adoptive brother to Riku and Kanako in the future. That will be all I wanted to say for right now. Anyway, enjoy the chapter.
Shortly after dealing with Silver Moon, Sora and Kairi decided that the rest off the union knew about Silver Moon's identity after seeing his face for the first time. Sora made contact with Rei, Roxas, Ash, Ethan, Brendan, Chase, Lucas, Wes, and Michael through their Rotom Phones. He didn't wait long until they all answered.
"Sora, hows is everything going on?" Rei asked.
"Master, there's something I think you should know about," Sora said.
"Don't keep us waiting," Riku said. Everyone was surprised to see Riku's face on the Rotom Phone.
"Riku?! When did you get back?!" Sora asked.
"Just a little while ago, Sora. Surprise," Riku said.
"Eevee," Eevee said.
"Pikachu!" Pikachu said.
"Eevee!" Angel said.
"Eevee," Eevee said.
"Hey, Riku. It's been a while," Lea said. Riku and Naminé were surprised to hear Axel's voice.
"Axel?" Naminé asked.
"Rill?" Azurill asked.
"How are back?" Riku asked.
"First of all, it's not Axel anymore, it's Lea. Get that memorized," Lea said.
"Count Ernesh was right after all," Kanako said. Everyone
"Kanako too? What's going on?" Sora asked.
"It's a long story, Sora, but that is not important right now. What's important is what you have to say," Riku saud,
"Riku is correct, Sora. What is it that you wanna tell us?" Rei asked.
"Right. Kairi and I just had a fight against this Silver Moon guy and beat him, too. But there's more to it," Sora said.
"Then, what?" Ash asked.
"Yeah, what?" Lucas asked.
"The thing is, Silver Moon is another replica. And he's a replica of Sora and Xehanort," Kairi said. A collection of gasps go around for everyone.
"A replica of Sora and Xehanort? How is that even work?" Chase asked.
"I don't know, but Count Ernesh's scientist made it work somehow," Sora said.
"Pikachu," Pikachu said.
"Eevee," Angel said.
"Hey, isn't Xehanort that one guy you guys have been telling me about? The same guy who betrayed his teacher and took his name and research?" Dawn asked.
"That's him," May said.
"Kanako, you think you can explain what you know?" Riku asked his sister.
"Sure. What Sora and Kairi are saying is true. Silver Moon is a replica of Sora and Xehanort. It was a scientist named Professor Brimstone who created him. Count Ernesh knew he wouldn't control Sora since he has the power of light, so he had Professor Brimstone do some research on you. He was following you around from Johto to Hoenn, so you couldn't see him, but he could see you. After the Hoenn Pokémon League, he got everything he needed from you and began to work on No.x, aka, Silver Moon. He did it by combining the data he collected from you and the data from Xehanort, making it possible. So, like I used to, I followed Count Ernesh by my own free will. Silver Moon was someone I was close to as a brother, more than anyone else," Kanako explained. Everyone started to let everthing Kanako said sink in since they found it to be quite shocking.
"So it was like when Vexen created the Elemental Bosses," Brendan said.
"Yeah, it was," Kanako said.
"But if he is half a replica of Xehanort, then he is an enemy that has to be dealt with. Xehanort's Heartless and Xemnas are no exceptions," Ash said.
"Ash is right. Xehanort is straight up evil. And Silver Moon has to be reeking with Xehanort's stink," Ethan said.
"I don't think Silver Moon is evil. He might have a spark of goodness in his heart...somewhere," Kanako said.
"You're kidding, right?" May asked.
"I'm with May. Anything that came from Xehanort can't be good," Lyra said.
"Marill," Marill said.
"I don't expect you to beileve me since we were enemies when we first met, but it's true. I've seen it. And I'll get through to him and you'll all see," Kanako said.
"Still, I don't know," May said.
"Well, we should try to give him a chance at least," Chase said.
"Pika," Volt said.
"Chase has a point. We gave Lea a chance when he was Axel," Kris said.
"And I appreciate you for it," Lea said.
"Well, I wasn't a good guy at first, but I turned over a new leaf, thanks to Rui," Wes said.
"Wes," Rui could only say.
"But if Kanako is wrong, then we'll have to put him down," Elaine said.
"Vee," Maple said.
"We'll deal with whatever happens," Xion said.
"Xion is right. There's no way in knowing what would happen afterwards, so that makes it a bridge we're gonna have to cross when we get to it," Sora said.
"I do agree. The news about Silver Moon is troubling, but we're not going to get anywhere by guessing everything that happens. Sora, you and Kairi did the right thing to bring this matter to all of our attention, Sora. I'll alert Ben about this. In the meantime, I'll need you to carry one on your journey. That goes to all of you, too" Rei said.
"Yes, Master," Sora, Kairi, Roxas, Xion, Ash, Leaf, Ethan, Kris, Lyra, Brendan, May, Chase, Elaine, Lucas, Dawn, Wes, Rui, and Michael said.
"I think Takato, Takuya, Yugi, and the others should know about this, too," Tai said.
"Very well. Again, thank you for reporting this to me, Sora," Rei said.
"Anyway, Riku, welcome back," Sora said.
"It's great to be back," Riku said.
"And Kanako, it's great that you made a change," Sora said. Kanako smiled, knowing she felt accepted despite what happened.
"Thank you, Sora," Kanako said.
With that said, Sora broke contact with all the others. They continued on their way toward Solaceon Town. A little while later, there were approached by young Trainer with blue hair and blue eybrows.
"Hey, you're Sora Ketchum, aren't you?" The boy asked.
"Sure am," Sora said.
"Good, because I've been looking for a strong Trainer to battle! The name's Alan by the way!
"Okay, Alan! Show me everything you've got!" Sora said.
"I will! And the one I'm sending out is my Nosepass!" Alan challenged as he threw his Pokéball and his Nosepass came on out to battle. Sora took out a Pokéball and threw it.
"Go! Lucario!" Sora called out. His Pokéball opened and Lucario came out to battle. "Fair warning, my Lucario is a Fighting and Steel-type Pokémon, so it won't be easy for you."
"I don't do easy! Your Lucario looks awesome, but it won't beat my Nosepass! Isn't that right?"
"Nosepass!" Nosepass said.
"Nosepass! Zap Cannon!" Alan ordered as Nosepass sends out Zap Cannon right at the Aura Pokémon.
"Use Double Team!" Sora ordered. Lucario made several copies of himself, making Nosepass's Zap Cannon miss its mark. "Now, use Aura Sphere!" The copies all disappear and Lucario fired Aura Sphere right at Nosepass.
"Use Zap Cannon to block that!" Alan ordered. Nosepass uses Zap Cannon to block Lucario's Zap Cannon. "Zap Cannon again!" Nosepass fired another Zap Cannon right at Lucario.
"Dodge that and use Bullet Punch!" Sora ordered. Lucario dodges Nosepass's Zap Cannon and lands a Bullet Punch.
"Try this on for size! Magnet Bomb!" Alan ordered. Nosepass fired Magnet Bomb right at Lucario.
"Double Team!" Sora called out. Lucario uses another Double Team. Nosepass's attack goes through the duplicates.
"Now, use Rock Slide!" Alan ordered. Nosepass forms rocks and sends them down at the Aura Pokémon. The rocks came down fast.
"Dodge it!" Sora called out. Lucario dodges Nosepass's Rock Slide. "Aura Sphere!" Lucario forms another Aura Sphere and sent it right at Nosepass and hit the Compass Pokémon on the mark. Nosepass was knocked out.
"Nosepass! You okay?" Alan asked.
"Nose," Nosepass weakly said.
"You did great, Lucario," Sora said.
"Cario," Lucario said.
"That was great, Sora. Youre better than people say you are," Alan said.
"Thanks. You're pretty good yourself," Sora said.
"Thanks for that. If only I wasn't so far from Mount Coronet, I would have gotten my Nosepass to evolve into a Probopass," Alan said.
"You're thinking of evolving your Nosepass?" Sora asked.
"Yeah. I was heading for Hearthome City to challenge the Gym Leader there," Alan said.
"Well, she might not be there. Sorry I have to tell you," Sora said.
"Aw, man," Alan groaned.
"But I can help out your Nosepass," Sora said. Alan looked at Sora.
"Really? How?" Alan asked.
"Instead of getting your Nosepass to evolve on Mount Coronet, how about you just use a Thunder Stone instead?" Sora suggested.
"You think that's gonna work?" Alan asked.
"Trust me, it does. I raised a Nosepass, too and I used a Thunder Stone to make mine evolve, and it'll do the same thing with yours," Sora said, taking out a Thunder Stone. "Here." Alan took the Thunder Stone from Sora.
"Well, here goes," Alan said as he hands Nosepass the Thunder Stone. Suddenly, Nosepass began to evolve. Nosepass has become a Probopass right before their eyes. "Whoa! My Nosepass is a Probopass now!"
"See what I mean?" Sora asked.
"I do now. Thanks a lot," Alan said.
"Anytime, man," Sora said as he and Alan shook hands. Kairi and Angel smiled at the sight.
Over to a mansion not too far, a middle-aged man recieved a letter. And by the way the letter was written it was very threatening.
"Oh my goodness," the man said.
Just then, a younger Officer Jenny along with a large Pokémon came in. She wore an outfit that seems similar to the Pokémon next to her. It's a Pokémon resembling a fully-grown lion. While its face, hind legs, torso, and the back of its front legs are blue, much of its body is covered with shaggy, black fur. The fur is longer around the shoulders and the base of the tail, and forms a mane on its head. It has yellow eyes with red sclerae, a blunt muzzle, and rounded ears with yellow insides. The eyes change to the color when when using its ability. There are three yellow half-rings on the back of each foreleg. Its long, thin tail is tipped with a yellow four-pointed star. This Pokémon is Luxray.
"Are you Matthew, the mansion owner?" The younger Officer Jenny asked.
"Yes, but who are are you?" Matthew questioned.
"Just call me Marble! Marble, the super-duper ace detective!" Marble introduced.
"I believe I have requested Officer Jenny from Mahogany Town," Matthew said.
"She's super busy with a case back home, so she sent me in her place. I happen to be her top student and this will be my first official case! And this is my trusty partner Luxray!" Marble said. Luxray turned its head.
"Well, I cannot refuse your services despite your age. I welcome any help that I can get," Matthew said.
"I may never be sure who spilled the beans, but now that they've all been spilled, it's my understanding that you have recieved a threatening letter that reads that your valued treasure is in danger of being stolen, right?" Marble asked.
"Yes. I have the letter here," Matthew said as he handed it to her. She read the letter thoroughly. The letter reads:
Dear Mr. Rich man.
We're going to be taking your most valuable treasure from your little mansion. We're going to make our move at 8:00 sharp! So, you better be ready to notice it gone!

The Beauty Gang
"So, the Beauty Gang," Marble said. "Do you have any idea who they are?"
"Not in the slightest. This is the only clue linking to them," Matthew said.
"I see," Marble said.
"But I feel that we should we should increase security just be on the safe side," Matthew said.
"Yes! I was about to suggest that!" Marble said. "Just you wait, Beauty Gang! I'm going to catch you and throw you three behind bars!"
Further out, three women are hiding out in a cabin. They wore almost black skin tight bodysuits. One has black hair, one has blonde hair, and one has red hair. The one with the black hair seems to be the leader.
"So like, what do you think is in that little chest of his?" The blonde, talking like a stereotypical dumb blonde.
"What else, Sunny? Jewelry. Jewelry that can make us rich as queens," the woman with black hair said.
"Are you sure, Kitty? It seems too good to be true to me," the red head asked.
"Then, what do you think is in there, Peppermint?" Kitty asked.
"It could be full of gold! You can have your old diamonds, I'll take gold over that any day of the week," Peppermint said.
"Or maybe, it could be some yummy tasty candy," Sunny guessed. Kitty and Peppermint sighed to her stupidity.
"You air-head! Only you would think it could be full of candy!" Peppermint spat.
"Hey, he could have a sweet tooth, you know," Sunny said.
"It could be anything. And I'm going to have it. And no obstacle is challenging enough to keep me from getting what I want," Kitty said.
"You mean, what we want," Peppermint said.
"Yeah, what she said," Sunny added.
"Fine, you too," Kitty said.
"That's more like it," Peppermint said.
"Now come on, girls, we got loads of planning to do," Kitty said.
Over to Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, and Angel, they made their way through a forest with Solaceon Town getting closer than ever. When they came out of the forest, they spotted a mansion ahead of them.
"Sora, look! A mansion!" Kairi said.
"I guess we made a wrong turn in the forest, but it's getting to dark and late to do anything to do anything about it, so we're gonna need a place to stop for the night," Pikachu said.
"Eevee," Angel said.
"I guess you're right. Fighting Silver Moon didn't exactly give us a chance to rest up when we made that stop earlier," Kairi said.
"Well, let's hope whoever lives here can spare us a couple of rooms for the night," Sora said.
"Yeah," Kairi said.
"Pika," Pikachu said.
"Vee," Angel said.
The couple has gotten closer to the mansion grounds and looked around when they noticed how quiet it was.
"I have a bad feeling about this," Kairi said.
"Sounds really quiet. I don't even hear a single peep coming out of a Whismur," Sora said.
"You don't think it could be Count Ernesh trying to trap us?" Kairi asked.
"I don't know. Someone might be hiding out here just to ambush us. Just about anything can happen up to this point," Sora said.
"Like what?" Kairi asked. Their motions activated the lights and shines right on them.
"Like that," Sora said.
"There you are!" A voice called out. The couple looked up to see Marble and her Luxray. "I got you now, Beauty Gang!" Luxray jumped off, much to her dismay. They were shocked to see the large Pokémon coming down.
"What's that?" Sora asked. Luxray then started to chase after Pikachu,
"No, not again," Marble said, climbing down the ladder. Pikachu avoids being slashed by Luxray's claws.
"Hurry, Pikachu! In the shrubs!" Sora said. Pikachu heads for the shrubs to hide. Luxray's eyes glows yellow as it searches for Pikachu. It found him as he kept his head down. Luxray jumps and comes to deliver an Iron Tail on Pikachu, making him come right out. What the? How did it find Pikachu that easily?" Sora took out his Rotom Phone and scanned it.

Type: Electric
Luxray has the ability to see through solid walls. It uses this ability in either hunting or searching for its missing young. It can even spot them even in the shadows.
"That answers that," Sora said.
"Of course. Luxray's eyes can see through anything," Kairi said.
"What good eyeballs Luxray has," Sora said.
"Luxray!" Marble called out to the Pokémon. "Please, don't move until I tell you!" Luxray disobeys Marble and came at Pikachu with another Iron Tail.
"Here comes another Iron Tail," Kairi said.
"Pikachu! You use Iron Tail, too!" Sora ordered.
"You too, Angel!" Kairi ordered.
The Pokémon couple clashed with Luxray's Iron Tail like swords. They stood against their ground.
"Those are tough Pokémon. I'm especially impressed with that Pikachu. Okay, come on out!" Marble shouted as security guards all came out and surrounded them all.
"We're surrounded!" Sora exclaimed.
"Now, grab the Beauty Gang!" Marble ordered. The security guards attempted to grab the couple.
"Pikachu! Thunderbolt!" Sora ordered. Pikachu gave the guards a Thunderbolt, shocking them all. They all fell to the ground. Marble was impressed by Pikachu's attack.
"Wow! What a Thunderbolt! It must be so awesome to use Electric-type moves!" Marble exclaimed. Sora was about to ask what she meant by that, but shook his head, knowing it wasn't important right now.
"Look, we're not who you think we are!" Sora said.
"We were only looking for a place to sleep for the night," Kairi said.
"Yeah, as if!" Marble said.
"Just a moment," Matthew spoke, walking up. He recognized Sora and Kairi. "I've seen two of these people on TV. The girl is the one who was in the Hearthome City Pokémon Contest. And the boy was in the Hearthome Tag Battle Tournament. Am I correct on both accounts?"
"Yeah, that's exactly right," Sora said.
"If I'm not mistaken, you're Sora Ketchum, the Pokémon League Champion of Kanto, Johto, and Hoenn, and you're Kairi who won the Hoenn Grand Festival," Matthew guessed.
"Yes, that's exactly right," Sora said.
"I'm Matthew. I own this place," Matthew said.
"Ha! I can't believe believe you thought I thought you were bandits for real," Marble said, denying she made a mistake.
"What do you mean by that? You jumped the gun and accused us without getting the facts straight first!" Sors argued.
"Take it easy, Sora, she made a mistake," Kairi said. Sora then calmed down. "Just who are the Beauty Gang?"
"You see, my manor contains a most valuable treasure that is called the Old Charm. I received a threatening letter from the Beauty Gang, stating that they were planning on stealing it," Matthew explained.
"I gotta say that's a weird name," Sora said.
"We don't know who they are, but they sound someone who can be very vain, and I never even heard of them until now. Have any of you ever heard of them?" Marble asked.
"No. Only Team Rocket in Kanto. The same can be said for Team Magma and Team Aqua back in the Hoenn region and Team Galactic here in Sinnoh. There also some crooks we dealt with in the past," Sora said.
"But since you can't take any chances with a priceless treasure like the Old Charm, I've asked Officer Jenny and her team for assistance," Matthew said.
"Officer Jenny? Which one?" Sora asked.
"Mahogany Town," Matthew simply answered.
"And that's why Jenny's trainee number one, me, came to investigate you," Marble said.
"You? Number one?" Kairi asked.
"Right! Don't know who spilled the beans, but now they're spilled, it's true! The name's Marble, the super-duper ace detective!" Marble introduced.
"So, you say," Sora deadpanned.
"Yes! Not to worry, as Luxray and I will solve this mystery!" Marble stated. Sora went up to Matthew.
"You think she can handle it?" Sora whispered.
"Well, I couldn't refuse since she came all this way. Officer Jenny was terribly busy in another case. Say wait! Perhaps you two could help us," Matthew suggested. Marble looked at him, confused.
"Well, since there are bad guys here, then we'll have to catch those crooks red-handed," Sora said.
"What color are their hands now?" - Pikachu subtitle. Angel chuckled at the joke.
"Well..." Marble paused. "Oh, alright. But you'll work under my command!" Marble said.
"Command?" Sora and Kairi asked.
"Come on, it'll be great," Marble said. "You'll have Marble, Ace Detective as your boss!"
"Pika," Pikachu said. He turned to look at Luxray and it's just glaring at the mouse Pokémon angrily. Luxray looks away. Pikachu didn't like its attitude one bit.
Once inside, they look upon Luxray and Sora stroked his chin.
"Okay, Shinx evolves into a Luxray, so that means, that's what Shinx will be after Luxio," Sora said.
"Yeah, that's exactly right," Marble said. Sora took out his Pokémon Box and he exchanged Sneasler for Luxio. Sora then lets Luxio out.
"Take a good look, Luxio. That's what you'll evolve into. Awesome, right?" Sora asked.
'Luxio," Luxio said.
"You raised your Luxio well. And I know it'll make an awesome Luxray," Marbel said.
"Thanks," Sora said. He looked at the doors in front of him. "So, the Old Charm's in there?"
"Right! The Beauty Gang's letter said they would steal it at precisisely 8:00," Marble said.
"Then, it's a good thing we're here right now. Now, it'll be even harder for anyone to come in without anyone knowing," Sora said.
"I know it sounds easy, but there's one thing that worries me," Marble said. They all look at Marble. "I'm concerned about Luxray. See, it hasn't been that long since Luxray evolved from Luxio. So I was trying to teach Luxray how to use Charge Beam. But he couldn't. Luxray's been unable to learn Electric-type moves. Though I figured it would get the hang of it eventually. But when we were helping Jenny chase after a bad guy. I told Luxray to use Iron Tail, but he tried to use Charge Beam instead. That was when Jenny and her team of Arcanine came running in after him and trapped him with Flamethrower. Since then, things have gotten much, much worse. Luxray won't listen to a thing I say. Even the Arcanine don't like to come around him anymore."
"Is that why you were impressed by Pikachu's Thunderbolt?" Sora asked.
"Hm-hm. I was hoping if Luxray could learn some Electric-type moves, maybe Luxray would listen to me again," Marble said.
"Have you tried training Luxray on your spare time?" Sora asked.
"I did. But when Luxray gets angry, things can get really, really scary," Marble said. "I don't know how we could do any special training like this."
"Then, it's even harder than we thought," Sora said.
Outside, the Beauty Gang waltz to the manor grounds, disguised as security guards.
Back to the group, they stood watch by the doors as the clock says it was ten minutes until right.
"Almost time," Sora said.
"Alright," Marble said. "Come on, Beauty Gang, give it your best shot." The Beauty Gang make their way to the most guarded spot. Sora and Kairi have let out their other Pokémon out to assit them.
"Just look at those Pokémon there. They're expecting us," Peppermint said.
"I think they're cute. I especially like that little white one. I want to pet it and keep it and cuddle it so much," Sunny said, eyeing Zoura.
"Focus, Sunny. We don't have time to play around. We have an important treasure to claim," Kitty said.
"What do we do?" Peppermint asked.
"Proceed as planned," Kitty ordered. The Beauty gang moved in to the doors. "Good evening. We have direct orders from Mr. Matthew to transport the treasure."
"But it's so close to 8:00," Marble said.
"I get it! Fool them at the last minute to fool the thieves," Kairi said.
"Oh yeah! I was thinking exactly the same thing!" Marble proclaimed.
"Wait a minute! What if they're actually the Beauty Gang? They could try anything to get their mitts on it," Sora said.
"Oh yeah! I thought the same thing!" Marble boasted.
"Um, they could be trying to move at the earliest time," Kitty said.
"Like, right," Sunny agreed.
"I thought that, too! Pros like those thieves would be right on time!" Marble said.
"Unless the thieves could have set the clock back five minutes to throw us off," Sora said.
"Right, Sora, then, it'll be 8:00 right now," Kairi agreed. The Beauty Gang were sweating up a storm. "That's pretty slick and pretty sneaky."
Just then, Matthew walked in to check in on everything.
"Is everything okay in here?" Matthew asked.
"Everything is under control, sir," Marble said.
"They came here to move the Old Charm as you ordered," Sora said. Matthew gasped.
"Who ordered it?" Matthew asked. Sora, Kairi, and Marble realized they were duped.
"It's a good thing we didn't open the doors yet," Sora said.
"SHIT!" The Beauty Gang exclaimed.
"You're the Beauty Gang!" Kairi said.
"Hey, I was about to say that!" Marble cried. The crooks took off their disguises to reveal themselves.
"Thought it was going to be easy, but you damn kids made it a whole lot harder!" Kitty said. She took out her Pokéballs and threw them. "Purugly! Persian! Delcatty! Sharpen your claws!" The three cat Pokémon came right out to battle. Peppermint and Sunny did the same thing.
"Vileplume! Arbok! Houndour! Go!" Peppermint called out as her Vileplume, Arbok, and Houndour came out.
"Corsola! Weepinbell! Mothim! Go!" Sunny called out as her three Pokémon came out to battle.
"Pikachu! Thunderbolt!" Sora ordered.
"Pika," Pikachu nodded. Pikachu was about to attack, but Luxray pushes Pikachu to the side.
"Hey!" Sora exclaimed.
"Luxray, what are you doing?!" Marble exclaimed. Luxray charges into battle.
"Purugly, Persian, and Delcatty, use your Shadow Claw!" Kitty ordered.
"Arbok, Houndour! Fire Fang! Vileplume! Use Sludge Wave!" Peppermint ordered.
"Corsola! Use Pin Missle! Weepinbell! Razor Leaf! Mothim! Psybeam!" Sunny ordered. The three feline Pokémon charges at the Gleam Eyes Pokémon, but Luxray smacks them with Iron Tail. Luxray does the same thing with Houdour and Arbok as Vileplume fires Sludge Wave, but Luxray dodges Sludge Wave and smacks it with his claws. Corsola, Weepinbell, and Mothim fires their attacks at Luxray, but he smacked them away with another Iron Tail.
"Gabite! Use Dragon Breath!" Sora ordered. Gabite fired Dragon Breath at them.
"Peppermint! Give us some cover!" Kitty said.
"Houndour! Smog!" Peppermint ordered. Houndour makes a clean get away in the cover of smoke. Luxray tries to catch them, but is batted away by Weepinbell's Vine Whip. The Beauty gang calls back their Pokémon and attempted to make their escape as they fell into a secret passage down below. They all fell into it. The group shows up but they don't see the criminal trio anywhere.
"Where did they go?" Sora asked.
"Oh no, it's the end of my career! I'm all washed up before my first arrest!" Marble cried.
"Wait, there's been no report of anyone leaving here," Matthew said.
"They couldn't have gotten far," Sora said. Marble then perked right back up.
"Of course. I was just thinking the same thing!" Marble stated.
"I must warn you that the area up ahead is where all kinds of treasures used to be stored. There are a number of booby traps hidden everywhere to stop any intruders. So be careful," Matthew warned. This surprises them to know that there are traps all around.
"We better watch our step," Sora said. Luxray looks around and sees one that's right behind Pikachu.
"Lux," Luxray attempted to warn the Mouse Pokémon. Pikachu jumped back and stepped on a tile, making the floor open up. Pikachu falls in only for Luxray to catch him. They both fall in with Angel following them.
"Angel! Don't go!" Kairi called out.
"Pikachu!" Sora called out as he attempted to follow them, but Matthew stopped him.
"It's too dangerous!" Matthew said.
"But..." Sora paused.
"You think the Beauty Gang fell in that hole, too?" Kairi asked.
"This time it's true. The end of my detective career," Marble groaned.
"Wait, since this is your manor, you've got to know where that trap door leads, right?" Kairi asked. Marble perks back up again.
"What do you know! I was about to ask Matthew the same thing!" Marble said.
"Yes, there's a secret tunnel. Follow me," Matthew said. And everyone all said.
Down below, Pikachu, Angel, and Luxray slide on down to the tunnel. They all looked around to their surroundings.
"Where are we?" - Pikachu subtitle.
"I don't know." - Luxray subtitle.
"Wherever we are, we have to get out of here and do it fast." - Angel subtitle.
"Then, we're going have to work together to get out." - Pikachu subtitle. Luxray just scoffs at the idea.
"I have a feeling it's easier said than done." - Angel subtitle.
"You're right. It's going to be a long night." - Pikachu said.
Back up above, Mattew shows them the fireplace.
"Here," Matthew said, pressing the brick that opens it. The fireplace opens up. "Now this staircase will take you straight down to where that pit is located."
"Okay, great," Sora said.
"You just leave it to Marble, Super-Duper Ace Detective!" Marble said.
"Well," Matthew said, not sure if she could handle it down there.
"I made you a solemn promise to catch to criminals and bring them right to justice," Marble said.
"If we're gonna go down there, then we'll have to stay together since it looks very easy to get lost in," Kairi said.
"Yes, I was about to suggest that!" Marble said.
"Well, here goes," Sora said.
With that said, Sora, Kairi, and Marble went down to search for the Pokémon below.
Back in the pit, Luxray tried to make it out alone.
"Hey, wait up!" - Pikachu subtitle.
"Don't follow me!" - Luxray subtitle.
"We want to get out just as bad as you do! We got to work together if we want to get out!" - Pikachu subtitle.
"He's right. We can't do that if you don't work with us." - Angel subtitle.
"I don't have to do anything with any of you! And especially you!" - Luxray subtuitle.
"What is your problem? Why do you have such an attitude towards me? What did I do to deserve such shabby treatment? Are you just mad at me because I can use Electric-type attacks and you can't?" - Pikachu subtitle. Luxray glares at him angrily.
"I don't need to explain myself to the likes of you! Make a Combee and buzz off!" - Luxray subtitle. Luxray runs ahead.
"Hey, wait for us!" - Pikachu subtitle.
"Stop following me!" - Luxray subtitle. Not looking where he was going, Luxray triggers a trap door and he falls right to a pit with spikes at the bottom. He almost fell all the way through, but luckily, Pikachu and Angel caught him before then. Luxray was relieved that he didn't fall to his death, and looks up to see Pikachu and Angel, holding him by the tail.
"We got you!" - Pikachu subtitle.
"Let me go!" Luxray subtitle.
"Just so you'll be filled with more holes than Swiss cheese? Not a chance!" - Pikachu subtitle. He and Angel started to pull him up. The two smaller Pokémon worked together to pull him out. Once Luxray was pulled out.
"Why did you save me? The both of you would have died trying to save me." - Luxray subtitle.
"We don't need a reason to help someone. We only did it because it was right." - Pikachu subtitle. Luxray was amazed by how Pikachu and Angel just risked their own lives to save a fellow Pokémon.
"Thanks. I mean it. Thanks." - Luxray subtitle. Luxray started to smile.
"You're so lucky, Sora," Marble said. This confuses Sora.
"How am I lucky?" Sora sked.
"You and Pikachu get along so well, that's how," Marble said.
"Oh. Well to tell the truth, it wasn't always like that," Sora said. Marble looked at him with a puzzeled look.
"Really?' Marble asked.
"It's true. Pikachu and I got off on the wrong foot at first. When Pikachu and I first met, he didn't like me, at all. Pikachu wouldn't do a thing I said. But he got along with Kairi and Angel with no problem," Sora said.
"That was when Sora and I first met. In fact, Sora's the reason I decided to become Pokémon Trainer and go on a journey with him. That was when Sora saved my life from those awful Pokémon hunters. Things changed for the better for Sora and Pikachu after those hunters sent their flock of Spearow after us." Kairi took Sora by the hand. "And I am still grateful to him to this day." Marble was amazed by not only how Sora was able to handle Pikachu despite a rocky start, but also how Sora and Kairi first met.
"So what do you think I should do to get Luxray and me like Pikachu and you?" Marble asked.
"That's kinda hard for me to say since everyone is different, but I do know that Pikachu and I are best friends," Sora said.
"Good friends?" Marble asked.
"Yeah. I didn't know why Pikachu didn't like me at first, but all that is in the past. I only know that I would never leave Pikachu for anything," Sora said. "I guess you can say that I'm loyal to my Pokémon just as my Pokémon are loyal to me."
"Friends, huh," Marble said. "I guess lately I've been so afraid of Luxray. I haven't been acting like much of a friend at all. Thanks for talking, Sora."
"No problem," Sora said.
Over to the Beauty Gang, they began to tunnel their way out of the pit.
"If they don't have the decency to make an exit, then well have to make the indecency to make one ourselves," Kitty said.
"You know it, Kitty. Whatever it is, it got to be so cool!" Sunny said.
Over to the Pokémon, Luxray looks around for anymore traps ahead of them, just to avoid another careless mistake. Luxray looks at the wall.
"There's a path." - Luxray subtitle. He pushes the brick to open the wall.
"Then, let's take it and get out of here." - Pikachu subtitle.
"Wait. There's another trap. You just need to watch your step." - Luxray subtitle.
"Luxray's right. We can't afford to trigger another one." - Angel subtitle.
The wall opens to reveal Sora, Kairi, and Marble.
"Pikachu!" Sora said.
"Angel!" Kairi said.
"Luxray!" Marble said.
Pikachu and Angel jump into their Trainer's arms.
"Glad you're okay," Sora said.
"You too, Angel," Kairi said.
"Luxray, I was so worried about you!" Marble said. Luxray blushed and felt embarrassed. "Hey, Luxray? Do you think you and I could be friends?" This surprises Luxray greatly. Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, and Angel were just as surprised to hear her ask a question like that. Luxray agreed and affectionately nuzzles her.
"What a sight to see," Sora said. Kairi nodded in agreement.
"Yes! We're gonna be the strongest team you've ever seen!" Marble cheerred as she jumped up and down. She was unaware of another trap. She steps on the tile, alerting the cpuple. The wall closes up.
"There goes our only exit," Sora said. The wall with the spikes closes up and comes right at them. The way the Pokémon came though started to come at them as well. "Oh, crap!"
"I'm so sorry!" Marble apologized.
"We're going to be sorry if we don't either get out or open the wall!" Sora said.
"This is really it! Forget career! We're all going to die!" Marble exclaimed.
"That's if we don't find a switch!" Sora said.
"Amazing! I was gonna say that!" Marble said. "Luxray! Take a look!" Luxray does exactly that and hurridly seached for a switch.
"Luxray," Luxray said, letting her know she found it.
"Great, Luxray! Now use Iron Tail!" Marble ordered. Luxray charge at the wall with Iron Tail and smashes the brick. He pushes the button. The walls stops coming as Sora and Kairi hold each other as did Pikachu and Angel. The walls revert back to their positions.
"That was close," Kairi said.
"Yeah. Any later then we all would have been the right size to fit in a sandwich," Sora said. Marble hugged Luxray again.
"All's right with the world! Thanks to you, Luxray," Marble praised. The Beauty Gang made their way through the wall.
"Finally we're out," Sunny said.
"Not really," Sora said. The Beauty gang looked at the group.
"Not you meddling kids!" Peppermint exclaimed.
"You're trapped here! And the only way out is with us!" Sora said.
"Not on your life!" Kitty said. She took out a Pokéball and threw it. "Go! Persian!" Persian came on out to battle.
"Go! Arbok!" Perppermint called out.
"Go! Weepinbell!" Sunny called out as the three chosen Pokémon had all come out. Sora and Kairi each took out their Pokéballs and threw them.
"Let's go! Luxio!" Sora called out.
"Go! Pachirisu!" Kairi called out.
"Luxray! Go!" Marble called out as the three Electric-type Pokémon rushed in to battle.
"Perisian! Shadow Claw!" Kitty ordered.
"Weepinbell! Vine Whip!" Sunny ordered.
"Arbok! Poison Fang!" Peppermint ordered.
The Beauty Gang's Pokémon come right at the three Pokémon.
"Luxio! Use Spark!" Sora ordered.
"Pachirisu! Use Discharge!" Kairi ordered.
"Luxray! Iron Tail!" Marble ordered. Luxray smacks Weepinbel with Iron Tail as Pachirisu gave the three opposing Pokémon a heavy shock as Luxio charges at Persian with Spark.
"How dare you!" Kitty growled. "Use Slash on that Luxio!" Persian gave Luxio a swipe of its claws. "Now, use Bubble Beam!" Persian fires Bubble Beam and struck hard.
"You okay, Luxio?" Sora asked.
"Lux," Luxio said.
I know you still have some steam left to battle, so use it! Use Spark!" Sora ordered. Luxio charges towards the three Pokémon and his attack is much stronger than before. "Okay, Pikachu! Use Thunderbolt!"
"Pachirisu! Discharge!" Kairi ordered.
Pikachu and Pachirisu fire their Electric-type attacks and they shocked the three opposing Pokémon on the mark. Luxray jumps and absorbs the electricity.
"Luxray!" Marble gasped.
"I get it! Luxray couldn't use any Electric-type attacks, because he didn't have electricity in his body in the first place!" Kairi said.
"Yes, I was thinking the same thing!" Marble said. "Luxray! Charge Beam!" Luxray fires a powerful beam of electricity and it struck the three opposing Pokémon. The Beauty Gang knew it was bad for them.
"Like, uh-oh," Sunny said.
"Pikachu! Thunderbolt again!" Sora ordered.
"Luxray! Charge Beam!" Marble ordered.
Pikachu and Luxray both fire Thunderbolt and Charge Beam at the same time and it struck both the Pokémon and the Trainers. They laid on the ground, unconscious.
They rounded up the crooks and their Pokémon.
"Thank you very much for your assistance," Matthew said gratefully.
"Tut, tut, there's no need to thank me, sir. The Old Charm is safe and sound," Marble said. "And it's all thanks to Marble, the Super-Duper Ace Detective!"
"Humble as ever," Sora said.
"Pikachu," Pikachu laughed.
"At least the bad guys are caught," Sora said.
That was when Officer Jenny shows up and she had a stern look on her face.
"Hello there, Marble," Officer Jenny greeted. Marble knew she was going to be in trouble.
"Hi, Jenny," Marble sheepishly greeted.
"What do you think you're doing taking a case without my persmission?" Officer Jenny asked, tapping her foot.
"Uh, well, uh," Marble stammered, trying to explain.
"We're going to have a talk about this later, young lady," Officer Jenny said. She turned to Matthew. "I hope Marble hasn't caused any problems for you." Matthew just smiled.
"No, Marble was most helpful. She captured the criminals who came close to stealing my precious Old Charm," Matthew said. She turned Marble.
"As for you two," Officer Jenny said. Marble and Luxray gulped. Her stern turned to a smile. "You two made quite the team." Marble smiled as did Luxray. "But we'll still talk about this."
"Okay," Marble said.
"But I'm sure you must be hungry. Please, come on in and eat as much as you like," Matthew said.
"After an exciting night like last night, I could go for a pancake as big as a Snorlax right about now," Sora said.
"We've definitely earned a good, hearty breakfast for this," Kairi said.
"Wow, I was about to say the same thing!" Sora said.
"Hey! You stole my line!" Marble exclaimed, making everyone laugh.
The Beauty Gang were brought to justice and Marble has given her gratitude for the help of Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, and Angel. And the adventure ends for now as the meal went on. So, let's eat!
