Eleven years later

"We'll just make it!"

"Izu-nii, I can walk!"

Izuku Midoriya, now age fourteen, was running his way to the train station to get to school, while holding his 12-year-old cousin Wendy Marvell in his arms, lest her adorable clumsiness make them late again.

Right now though a huge supervillain was causing havoc with the commute, rampaging willy-nilly.

"Oh great. How many attacks does that make this month?" One guy asked.

"Six or seven, I think." Another replied as Izuku and Wendy observed what was happening.

"What even happened?" One asked.

"Just some amateur, grabbed someone's bag and got himself cornered." Another replied.

Izuku, meanwhile, was beaming at the fight before him, his eyes shining in the morning light as he watched the fight with the sharpened perception that his eyes provided him with.

"Wow! That's a really big supervillain!" The boy exclaimed, just as he picked up on three more fighters, glacing down to identify them. "Man, Death Arms, Backdraft, Kamui Woods! They're all here! Gotta get notes on this!"

He then took out his notebook to jot down what was happening, which an old man with stars on his head noticed.

"Hm? Hey, I know that demeanor: You're a fanboy, aren't you?!" The older man noted, which made Izuku a tad nervous only to give a friendly grin. "

"Ehehe, maybe a little." Izuku chuckled nervously.

"Izu-nii, your room is a shrine to All Might." Wendy mused. "…It's both sweet and kind of creepy."

Izuku pouted.

"…You don't have to call me out like that, Wendy."

Izuku continued jotting down notes on the whole fight which looked like it was going to end with Kamui Woods taking the prize with his ultimate move. However, at that moment, a giant woman in a purple and white skin-tight suit and a purple mask stole the spotlight by kicking the giant villain to the ground.

"Hi everyone, I'm Mt. Lady. The world's hottest new hero. So you don't need to worry about this bum anymore." The blonde grinned flirtatiously with a wink.

"Money shot." Several men said in unison as they started snapping photos.

Wendy rolled her eyes, mumbling something about Mount Lady's skintight costume and when puberty was going to hit her; the poor pre-teen was envious to get her figure develop

Shaking his head at the antics of the people around him and worrying about his cousin, Izuku just grabbed Wendy's hand and hopped on their train and continued on his way.

FAIRY

Twenty minutes and one promising to sit with Wendy at lunch later, Izuku was in the auditorium at Fairy Tail Academy, where the most physical and intellectual could move onward to greater things, not just in Heroics but in other respectable businesses such as police work or humanitarian aid.

While Heroism was still what many aimed for, Makarov and his teachers made sure to remind their students that fighting villains and averting disasters were not the only ways to benefit humanity.

For mostly a private school, the Academy allowed students to dress however they wanted, so Izuku enjoyed wearing a baggy robe and headband with horns on it; a gift from his father. To suffice it all, our hero was far happier here than he could've ever been at Aldrea Junior High School.

After two more disastrous play-dates with Katsuki Bakugo and doing some research at the most common middle school in Mufasta, not liking what she saw, Inko, who had gotten a job at Layla and her husband Jude's company, had enrolled Izuku into a very nice and private school.

This allowed Izuku to bond with Natsu and Lucy, two of the most precious people in his life, aside from his mother, Wendy….and possibly one more person, as Lucy constantly teased him for.

"You liiiiike her~!" Lucy'd always coo whenever Izuku and the girl who caught he attention interacted.

"Oh, like you and Natsu?" Izuku would always retort, making Lucy blush and hurriedly run away without fail, then seeming to forget the little teasing until next time.

Natsu sadly, was…well, cursed with the denseness of a stock harem and or shounen lead when it came to his feelings for Lucy; he was fericly protective of her and clearly found her atrractive, but kept insisiting they were just friends.

It was such an obvious affection that Izuku had vowed to get the two of them together by the end of high school…..As soon as he figured it out.

Reuniting with the duo also lead to Izuku meeting Prinicpal Makarov, who took a shining to the green haired boy and starting training him after school.

A well travelled man and former hero himself, Principal Makarov was also privy to the stories of the Sage of the Six Paths and throughout Izuku's school life, helped the boy learn how to control his powers by training one Path at a time. It was risky for obvious reasons, but in the end, it paid off and Izuku gradually gained control over his Paths.

Granted, the green haired boy was by no means a master; he particularly struggled with the Asura Path. But the control he had now was still good for the point in his life.

"Yo! Izzy!" Natsu, now a lean and fit young man in a vest and with his beloved scarf, waved his best friend over. "You catch the fight this morning?"

Izuku nodded.

"Nothing too big…well, aside from Mount Lady."

"Urg." Lucy groaned. "She's going to put us blonde bombshells back centuires, I just know it."

Lucy had bloomed into a literal bombshell, with many admirers and even a few modelling offers…at least before her parents found out.

Besides Natsu and Lucy, Izuku had made many other friends in his time at the academy, including the student council president, Erza Scarlet; Makarov's adopted daughter.

"Ah, Izuku." Erza noted with a smile. "Glad to see you here on time."

"The fight wasn't too bad." Izuku smiled. "How did your taming job go?"

Erza smirked as a decorated tooth the size of an adult suddenly appeared beside her.

"Easy enough; the children were so grateful they decorated one of the teeth." She smiled.

The red haired beauty was stern, determined and devoted to being the best as she could be…which she often tried to force onto others. Never with ill-intent mind you, but she was…intense. She was getting better though, at least in part due to her interactions with the younger Wendy, which made her realize some matters needed a more gentle hand.

Through these friendships and others he had made, Izuku had made a sort of 'guild' as the others jokingly tended to call it. All of them shared the same aspirations; to become the greatest heroes ever known.

Funny enough, one of Fairy Tail Academy's most loved aspects was the facts that students could apply to take on jobs around town, jobs that came with temp Quirk usage licensces. So, the students were a wee bit more prepared compared to other schools.

Right now, the teens were in their final year of the academy before graduation.

Makarov himself was on center stage about to announce his choices for the students he recommended to UA High and the students that were taking the Entrance Exam.

"In accordance with the time-honored tradition, I will now announce the four of our students who got into UA via recommendation, along with the students who will be taking the Entrance Exam!" Makarov said as the whole school was cheering for the announcement. "I have witnessed so much growth from all of my children, and have chosen these four students…Natsu Dragneel."

"YES! WOHOOO! Thank you, sir!" Natsu said as he raised his right arm in the air.

"Mirajane Strauss." Makarov continued.

"Thank you very much, master." A girl with white hair said with a bright smile on her face said as she gave a bow.

Mirajane was Erza's Vice President, best friend and arguably the strongest contender for most beautiful girl in the school after Lucy and Erza; actually having some modelling gigs. She was also possibly the sweetest girl in the school, often making lunches for the less fortunate students and helping out wherever she could. This hid a fearsome fighting skill, highlighted and emphasized by her Quirk…

Izuku was fearful of Mirajane's strength; not helped by how, in the earlier years, she and Erza had been very, VERY bitter and violent rivals. Mirajane simply smiled and thought the world of Izuku, who she often claimed to be the cause for her personality change.

"Laxus Dreyar." Makarov said as he looked at his grandson, a young man with a lightning bolt scar over his right blue eyes and blonde hair.

"Well, that was obvious." Laxus smirked as he stayed neutral.

If there was a list of students who were top contender to reaching the top 10 Pros at Fair Tail, Laxus would be number one on that list: Not only was he blessed with a powerful Lightning Quirk (which was stronger that Electricity and came with none of the downsides), he was a brilliant tactician and blessed with insane durability and strength.

Izuku and Laxus had a…complicated relationship; they both respected each other's strength, to the point Laxus had and kept offering Izuku a spot in his team the Thunder Legion; his close friends Freed, Bixlow and Evergreen, three outcasts who also had eye based Quirks. However, the two disagreed on how to become #1 at anything, or even what the title of #1 meant.

You see to Laxus, strength was all that mattered to become #1 and that if you stepped on some to get there, it was okay; just proved how unfit they were. Izuku thought the key to be #1 was being inspirational and urging others to do better. The one thing they had come to agree on was that sacrificing your friends and allies was NOT the way to reach the top.

"And finally, Erza Scarlet." Makarov said as he looked at his adopted daughter, who manifested a knight's armor.

"It's an honor to be chosen, master." Erza said as she bowed.

The audience burst into applause and Makarov let his chosen soak up the praise of their classmates before he continued:

"And now, the students for the entrance exam… Gray Fullbuster!"

"Yo." A boy with black hair said as he raised his hand.

"Gray. Your clothes." Makarov and the students on stage all said together, making Gray glance down and see he was down to his boxers.

"DANG IT!"

Gray was a very talented student; able to figure out and capitalize on weaknesses and rivalling Natsu and Laxus as the best hand to hand fighter. He was also blessed with a powerful and versatile ice quirk. The one problem was that…well, as shown above? He had a bad habit of taking off his clothes at the worst times.

"Lucy Heartfillia!" Markarov continued.

Lucy beamed as Izuku and Natsu gave her especially proud smiles before Makarov continued.

"Juvia Lockser!"

A woman with long light blue hair gave a proud haughty smile before inching towards Gray.

"It's a sign, darling!"

"Not so close!" Gray irked.

Juvia was blessed with a powerful [Water body] Quirk and an incredible will; when she put her mind to something, NOTHING could or would stop her; she'd broken mind control and escaped seemingly unescapeable rooms when she saw something she wanted. Her only weakness was her adoration of Gray after he saved her from a suicide attempt after a cruel break-up.

"Gajeel Redfox!"

A man with spikey black hair, red eyes, and facial piercings grinned as he pumped his fist in the air.

Gajeel was without a doubt Natsu's biggest rival; he and Juvia, his best friend, had originally from Phantom Lord Academia, only to transfer when they saw the better environment Fairy Tail was. Despite this, unless you were Makarov, Gajeel wasn't one for friends most of the time. With an iron-based Quirk and far more brutal fighting style that Natsu, Gajeel's strength was well known.

"Levy McGarden!" Makarov

A woman with blue hair with a yellow hairband beamed proudly, Lucy giving her a proud 'yahoo!'

Levy came from a moderately wealthy family of writers, with her Quirk [Solid Script] allowing her to will whatever she wrote into existence. She and Lucy were close friends, bonding over their love of books and co-writing a few stories together. Levy also had the honor of being the one person Gajeel would obey and protect without any request, some thinking the two were in a secret relationship.

"Elfman and Lisanna Strauss!" A man with white hair, tanned skin, and a scar under his right eye, and a white-haired woman with short white hair in pigtails smiled at each other as Mirajane gave them both a proud look.

These were Mirajane's younger siblings; the proudly manly Elfman (who was not all that strong, but his heart was in the right place) and the sweet Lisanna, who was arguably Natsu's best friend aside from Lucy; having helped tutor him and learn to control his strength

Makarov then called out one name with great pride clear in his voice:

"Izuku Midoriya!"

Izuku rubbed the back of his head bashfully as his friends all cheered loudly for him.

"And thanks to me recommending her to Principal Nezu, Wendy Marvell!"

Wendy, tears in her eyes, raced to and happily hugged her older cousin, overjoyed at being able to be Pro Heroes together.

All of the students cheered for the ones chosen for the chance to make it into UA High.

"And thus began the story of how we all became the greatest heroes..."

To be continued…!
