Miraculous: Return of the Dark Moth
Chapter 6: Vesperia, the New Bee Miraculous Hero – Part 1: Sole Crusher
Synopsis for Part 1: Back at school, Caline Bustier tells the class since their field trip to New York that she is pregnant, and she'll be expecting a child someday. Meanwhile, Dark Moth continues his attacks behind the scenes, while possessing Shadow Moth to do them day by day. He tries to akumatise Zoé Lee into Sole Crusher, but Ladybug and Cat Noir come in and save her. After helping Zoé, Chloé calls Ladybug to have her half-sister, Zoé Lee into the new Bee Miraculous hero, Visperia in her place, as people still won't trust Chloé as Queen Bee. Ladybug accepted, on one condition; that Zoé would return the Bee Miraculous whenever they have tougher missions.
As Marinette Dupain-Cheng entered the Collège Françoise Dupont school, she walked in Caline Bustier's class, and her friends also welcomed Zoé Lee, the half-sister of Chloé Bourgeois as Caline Bustier entered the room. "Good morning, everyone." She greeted with a smile. "Good morning, Miss Bustier!" They all greeted. "Everyone, I have some terrific news to tell you." She said to the group in her class. "Um, maybe it's best if I tell them. Is that okay, Caline?" Asked Mr. Damocles, the school's principal. "Yes, of course, Mr. Damocles, go ahead!" Caline replied with a blush on her cheeks. Mr. Damocles took a deep breath and announced, "Everyone, since our little field trip to New York, Miss Bustier is expecting a child!" The class erupted into a mix of gasps and whispers as they congratulated Caline, who was blushing furiously, but smiled. "Wow! Congrats, Miss Bustier! I hope it's a girl." Marinette said. "Well, I hope it's going to be a boy." Nino Lahiffe as Alya Césaire, his girlfriend turned to him.
"I'm just saying, is all." Nino pointed out. "I'm sure whichever gender the baby will be, we will welcome it with open arms." Zoé smiled. "Right Chloé?" She asked to her half-sister. "Yeah, whatever." Chloé spoke turning her head to hide her blush. Miss Bustier cleared her throat. "Alright, let's get back to class. For today's class, we will be going over why all dogs go to heaven." Bustier said as she told them her story.
This story was about friendship and love. It started with one dog, a German Shepherd named Charlie Barkin and was killed by his partner, a bulldog named Carface Curruthers. However, Charlie had cheated death by taking his "watch of life" from Heaven and returning to Earth. He was warned that he could never come back to Heaven, and he would be taken to the Other Side if his "Watch of Life" stopped or if he died again without it. Charlie Barkin and his Dachshund sidekick, Itchy Itchiford, had rescued a little girl from Carface who had been using her to shift odds in the rat races. Then, when he saw the little girl was taken hostage by Carface, Charlie gave his own life to save a girl's life when she was taken prisoner by the pit bull. Because of that sacrifice, he was able to return home to Heaven. The class watched intently, their eyes glued to the screen as the animated film played out the heartwarming tale of friendship, love, and sacrifice.
Meanwhile, Chloé's mind swirled with thoughts of Ladybug and Cat Noir, and the recent events that had unfolded. Despite the joyful scene unfolding in the film, she couldn't help but feel the feeling of anger and resentment against Ladybug before the Akuma Wars rekindling within her. She was thinking she'd be like Carface in the animated film. But the class was a bit scared when they watched Charlie's nightmare of being sent to the Other Side, but they had to be strong. Zoé, however, was a bit spooked.
When Chloé took Zoé back to Le Grand Paris, Zoé was still shaken from having to witness the nightmare scene from the movie in class. "C'mon Zoé, it was just a movie!" Chloésaid. "I-I don't know, Chloé, but it looked so real." Zoé spoke. "Then, listen and listen good. Don't let fear get the best of you. In this family, we never, ever, EVER let fear take a hold of us." Chloe said as she grabbed Zoé by the shoulders, and pulled her close. "You let fear get a hold of you, people will just walk right over you. So take my advice. Either you walk over people, or I walk over you!" Chloé said to her half-sister as she left the room.
The next day, Ladybug and Cat Noir were on patrol, and they saw Chloé's Queen Bee signal, coming to them. "I thought you stopped using that thing." Ladybug stated. "Felt attached to it." Chloé excused. "So where's this Zoé you wanted us to meet?" Cat Noir asked. "That's the problem. Let's talk inside, but you have to promise not to accuse me of anything." Chloé said. "I will make no promises." Ladybug said crossing her arms. Cue Ladybug Miraculous Transition.
"She got akumatised? What'd you do?" Ladybug asked accusingly to Chloé. "Nothing. Everyone loves me... just slowly." Chloé said pretending to be innocent, causing Ladybug to frown and roll her eyes. "Perhaps I can tell them what happened to Mademoiselle Zoé." The family butler spoke. "Yeah, tell them what happened, Jean-Claude." Chloéspoke. "It's Armand." Armand corrected. "That's what your name is? Okay, whatever." Chloé spoke as the flashback began.
"I had saw Mademoiselle Chloé leave Zoé's room in a huff, and gotten a little suspicious. I saw that she was getting a little hesitant, so I went and go get Mayor Bourgeois to comfort her. But when we came to her room, the door was locked." Armand said in a voiceover.
"We then heard Zoé speaking to someone in there, so Mayor Bourgeois peeked in the keyhole, and saw Zoé transform into a different person. Covered in gold. She went to the door and went on rampage!" Armand spoke as the gold villain kicked down the door. "Zoé?" André asked in shock. "Afraid not, Daddy. Zoé's gone. Say hello to new, improved Sole Crusher!" Sole Crusher said attacking people with a kick, turning them into shoes as André Bourgeois ran off screaming as the flashback ended. "Dark Moth! He must've akumatised the newbie!" Cat Noir spoke. "Where did she get her akuma?" Ladybug asked.
"Well, you see—" Before Armand could speak, Sole Crusher kicks Armand, absorbing him into her shoes. "Hey! You can't absorb my butler like that! And you can't use my image that way. I have a reputation to keep." Chloé shouted to the villain. "Zoé? Look, let's talk about this! Let them help you, or you'll do something you'll regret. Just give them your akuma and you can stop being Dark Moth's patsy, or you can go back to those ugly sneakers you came here with." Chloé tried to reason with her half-sister. "Too late." Sole Crusher spoke as she began to absorb Chloé into her shoes and started to grow. "Did she get taller?" Cat Noir spoke.
A butterfly mask appeared on Sole Crusher's face. "Remember our deal... Get me Ladybug and Cat Noir's Miraculous, and you'll be free to get some respect." Dark Moth ordered while possessing Shadow Moth. "I will... But first, I need some room." Sole Crusher spoke going outside Le Grand Paris Hotel.
Ladybug and Cat Noir followed and saw that Sole Crusher was getting huge with every person she stomps and absorbed in her shoes. "This is bad. I might have to cataclysm her before she destroys the whole city!" Cat Noir stated as he was going to use his power on Sole Crusher, but Ladybug grabs his arm, stopping him. "No way! We don't know what will happen if you hit her directly! It could be fatal!" Ladybug stated. "So, what we gonna do?" Cat Noir asked making Ladybug show an unamused look on her face. "Please don't start that again." She said. (That was a Disney's The Jungle Book reference.)
"Lucky Charm!" Ladybug shouted sending her yo-yo into the air. And she receives a shoe horn. "A... shoe horn? Of course! The akuma must be hiding in her shoes!" She spoke. "Then, let me trip her up a bit, m'lady. Cataclysm!" Cat Noir starts to make Sole Crusher trip and fall. Sole Crusher regains her balance, and Cat Noir destroys a part of her right shoe's heel, breaking it and causing the villain to fall. Ladybug throws her yo-yo at Sole Crusher's other heel and wraps it around it. Sole Crusher tries to regain her balance again, but Ladybug pulls on her yo-yo destroying the heel and Sole Crusher falls again onto a building. Ladybug and Cat Noir hide behind a car.
"Where's... the Akuma?" Ladybug asked. "How pathetic... Like you're gonna get my akuma that way. But go ahead, keep searching for it. I'll give you a head start." Sole Crusher smirked. They went back in the Le Grand Paris Hotel. "What're you doing?! Stop them!" Dark Moth commanded. As the heroes went back to the hotel, they began to search for Zoé's room. "Why are we looking for her room?" Cat Noir asked. "Because it might be where her akuma is... in her sneakers." Ladybug spoke. Then, AndréBourgeois was starting to come out from the janitor's closet. "Ladybug! Cat Noir! You're going to save us again, aren't you?" He asked.
"Mr. Mayor?" Ladybug asked. "I hid in here when I witnessed poor little Zoé getting akumatized." The mayor explained. "So, you saw everything?" Cat Noir asked. "Do you know where her sneakers are?" Ladybug asked. Mayor Bourgeois then led them to the cellar where Zoé's sneakers are. The cellar door was stuck, but then it occurred to Ladybug. She used the shoe horn Lucky Charm to open the cellar door. Sole Crusher then showed up, and she was twice the size as Le Grand Paris Hotel. "I have you now!" As Sole Crusher's fist is flaming and about to reach them, Ladybug finds the akumatized sneaker and breaks it. "No!" The Akuma flies out and stops Sole Crusher, who returns back to Zoé.
"No more evil doing for you little akuma. Time to de-evilize!" Ladybug then opens her yo-yo and catches the akuma, purifying it. "Gotcha! Bye bye, little butterfly! (throws the shoe horn into the air. "Miraculous Ladybug!" The streets are repaired, and the people in Le Grand Paris restaurant are restored, as well as Chloé, as she rushes to the roof. "Pound it!" Ladybug and Cat Noir pound their fists as Zoé wakes up on a pool chaise. "You... you're Ladybug." Zoé spoke looking at the spotted hero. "Yeah. That's me." She then opens her yo-yo and pulls out a Magical Charm. "This is a magical charm, Zoé." She puts it in her hand. "With it, Dark Moth can't get to you any longer. Always keep it with you to remember what you overcame today, okay?"
"Thank you, Ladybug. You really are Miraculous." Zoé spoke as Chloé saw her being happy and Ladybug smiled. Cat Noir then jumps off the rooftop to recharge, and Ladybug was going to follow. "Ladybug! When you recharge, we need to talk about something important." Chloé spoke. "Yeah, sure. I know just the place. Bug out!" Ladybug said using her yo-yo to leave the area.
Back in Shadow Moth's lair, Shadow Moth expels Dark Moth from his body. "Darn it! Next time, bug face... I will crush you!" Dark Moth shouted angrily as the lair window closes.
The next day, Ladybug took Chloé to what was PJ's old Treehouse. Ladybug couldn't wait to hear what Chloé had to say.
"What is it, Chloé?" Marinette asked curiously. "I know I haven't been the nicest person, and even though I gave out my apology speech days ago… I have to ask a favor!" Chloé said with determination in her voice. Ladybug looked at her, surprised. "What?" She replied. "Could you pass the title of Queen Bee over to my half of a sister, Zoé?" Chloé asked to Ladybug's surprise. "What for?" Marinette looked at Chloé skeptically.
"Because I know that people still don't trust me after I became Queen Bee in the Akuma Wars, and with everything that's happening with Dark Moth and all the other akumatized people, I want to make sure that Zoé will do better. And I believe she'd be a better hero than me." Chloé continued. Ladybug nodded slowly, understanding Chloés' point of view. "Okay, but I need to make sure she's ready for the responsibility." Ladybug told her. "Tell her she'll help us out. But she has to return the Bee Miraculous to me when we're done. Is that clear?" Ladybug asked. "I'll remember that." Chloé nodded.
Chapter 6: Visperia, the New Bee Miraculous - Part 2: Queen Banana
Synopsis for Part 2: Marinette's class films a superhero movie, with Chloé in the leading role, with it being approved by Gabriel Agreste. However, when Marinette's class had Zoé become the lead role, Chloé became jealous of her half-sister's casting, forces herself into Zoé's role, demanding numerous rewrites to make the film her personal fantasy. When the class refuses to comply, she is akumatized by Shadow Moth on Dark Moth's orders. As she recognized Dark Moth's voice to take control of her, and reignites her hatred for Ladybug. Chloé then turns into the akumatised villain, "Queen Banana", with a car and a gorilla sentimonster named "Banana Boom-Boom", all of which can turn people into bananas. To help defeat her, Ladybug gives Zoé the Bee Miraculous, turning her into "Vesperia".
Marinette Dupain-Cheng also known as Ladybug was in her room, and she was seen is cutting fabric as the Kwamis of the Chinese Miracle Box watched. "I'll bet you anything it's a tablecloth for a picnic." Xuppu the Monkey Kwami guessed. "Not even close, Xuppu. It's a cape." Marinette replied as she gets up. "This one's for the superhero of creation." She walks over to a red cape. "This one's for the supervillain of destruction." She explained.
"Capes for Cat Noir and Ladybug?" Xuppu asked. "No, it's for a movie." Marinette spoke as the Kwamis "ooh"ed. "You know, those make-believe stories they show on TV?" Marinette added. "Are you gonna be famous?" Orikko, the Rooster Kwami asked. "No, I'm the costume designer, I'm not acting in it. We are gonna be on the news." Marinette replied until she gasped. "I'm gonna be late!" She grabs two flashlights and leaves.
The scene changes to a TVi news announcement where Nadja Chamack was reporting. "And now, the very original project coming from the Françoise Dupont school in Paris. Clara Contard reporting. The scene changes to the Françoise Dupont High School's rt classroom, and the students are getting ready for the movie as Clara covers her part of the report.
"Under the initiative of the art teacher, Jean-Pierre Monlataing, one of Françoise Dupont school's alumni, Thomas Astruc, who's become a successful film director, is participating in an ambitious project." Clara said as Thomas Astruc shows Zoé and Mylène how to use the swords. "He's overseeing this group of students who are volunteering their own vacation time to produce a real-life movie." Nino and Jean-Pierre supervise Nathaniel as he draws. "From script to storyboard, not to mention costumes," Rose admires Marinette's costumes. "—everything's being done by the students themselves," Alix paints a sword green. "with financial support from Paris' city hall."
André Bourgeois, the Mayor of Paris speaks up. "Yes; you know, I myself directed a few in my youth, and—" Clara then interrupts. "And the cherry on top is that the film will be released in select movie theaters thanks to famous producer Bob Roth." An image of him appears, and André peeps from behind. Rose and Marinette help Mylène and Zoé with their costumes. "What a lucky break for these student-filmmakers, as well as for the two young actresses who'll be starring in the main role!'
"You may hate me, but I love you, and I always will!" Zoé said reading her script, while Chloé throws a banana peel at the screen with Zoé. "A film with my half-of-a-sister as the star?! Ridiculous!" Sabrina then offers a banana from a bowl to Chloé. "Do you want another banana, Chloé? I've heard they help put people in a better mood." Sabrina asked as Chloé grabbed the banana. "What I want is to go tell that bunch of lamoes how things work in real life! In my life." She frowned. "You okay, Chloé? You seem angry... Maybe we should take you a doct-"
"Don't tell me I need to see a doctor, Sabrina! Don't you dare!" Chloé shouted to Sabrina's shock. She then realizes and tries to calm down. "Sorry... I don't know how that got out... Let's just go." Chloé apologized as she left and Sabrina ran after her, with worry. In the art classroom, Zoé and Mylène are rehearsing their lines. "You may hate me, but I love you, and I always will—"
Chloé starts slamming the door open. "Excuse me! You're giving the lead role to my half-of-a-sister instead of me?! And with daddy's money, on top of it all." She shouted. "Uh, it's not actually funded by me, sweetheart, but by the city." André reminded her daughter. "Same thing." She walks over to Zoé. "You—I told you that you'd be sent back to New York if you ever crossed my path, and now, not only are you on my path, but on TV, too!" She said to her half-sister. "Don't let your sister walk all over you, Zoé. You are made for this part, you deserve it!" Marinette said standing up for Zoé, and Thomas Astruc approached. "It's true, and we're meeting with the producer tomorrow, so it's too late to change anything now."
"Might I remind you that you were offered a chance, like all the students in the school, to participate in the film, but you refused because, and I quote, "Mylène's sweater is too ugly, Nate draws like a 2-year-old, Alya is useless, and Marinette is ridiculous, utterly ridiculous"?" Jean-Pierre said reminding Chloé why she refused. "Did I say that?" She asked as a Steve Urkel reference. "Yes, but less politely." Jean-Pierre added. "Yeah well... I still mean all of it. I just have a problem of wanting attention. But if this stupid, childish film actually gets released in theaters and turns someone into a star, that someone should be me. So, you're gonna give me the part my half-of-a-sister is playing because everything she owns is mine." Chloé walks off with Sabrina following her.
André Bourgeois turns to the kids. "Don't worry, kids, I'll go talk to her, everything will be fine tomorrow." He closes the door and runs after Chloé. Marinette and Zoé look at each other.
A few days passed, and Chloé wanted to make some changes for her class's film project. She wants to play the main character, and has the script changed multiple times, bringing nothing but misery and annoyance among her crew mates. This includes changing her role to be the heroine, Queen Banana, adding a banana-themed vehicle, saving Adrien, and getting a giant yellow gorilla that throws exploding bananas as the main antagonist. Chloé is once more upset when the class can only get a prop gorilla instead of a real one, which doesn't exist. Fed up with the complaints, Chloé heads home early and expects the class have the entire script fixed tomorrow. Marinette refuses to let Chloé take advantage of their film, and with a motivating speech, she persuades the class to film the movie with their original script.
Next morning at the Jardin des Tuileries, Chloé's limousine arrives, and Chloé exits the limousine with Sabrina. She looks around and gasps. "Where's my giant gorilla? Where are all the others?" She then walks to a man loading boxes. "Why isn't anyone here to shoot my big scene?" She shouted. "They shot everything last night. Right about now they're probably over at the movie theater screening it." The man replied. "What?" Chloé spoke in a deadpan tone and dark look.
Chloé's limousine makes it at full speed to the movie theater, and she goes inside, swinging the door open. "What's this?!" She sees the movie playing where Mylène is playing as Destroika and Zoé playing as Kreatika. "Ultimate Nightmare!" Mylène shouted as she prepares her sword. "Harmonic Wind!" Zoé shouted as Kreatika and they fight using the swords. The audience looks, amazed. Zoé/Kreatika uses her power to stop Mylène/Destroika, then to wake up the class/citizens.
Zoé (Kreatika) then takes off her mask. "I've freed you from evil!" Mylène (Destroika) removes her mask as well. "Why did you wake them, Kreatika? Humans have destroyed the planet! They don't deserve to be awake!" Mylène (Destroika) shouted as she prepares her sword as Zoé (Kreatika) defends herself with her own sword. "You're wrong, Destroika. Each one of those humans carries the hope of a better world within them!" She reasoned with her. "You're just like them, I hate you!" Mylène shouted as she fell to the floor. "You may hate me, but I love you," Zoé (Kreatika) then kneels. "...and I always will, even if the whole world hates you," She places hand on Mylène/Destroika's. "sister." Mylène/Destroika looks up, and the two hug each other as the class/citizens cheer. The audience applauds. But Chloé was getting furious, and she growls.
"HEEEEY!" Chloé Bourgeois shouted getting everyone's attention. "Who authorized shooting this without me? Where's my monkey? And what is my half-of-a-sister doing in my movie?!" She shouted as Adrien walks over to Chloé with tablet in his hands, with his father on the screen, with Marinette following behind. "I did, Miss Bourgeois." Gabriel said from the tablet. "Miss Dupain-Cheng convinced me to watch this first scene. I found it very moving and... Adrien is exceptional in it. I've therefore decided to privately finance the movie based on the original screenplay." He explained as Chloé was getting more furious. "You, Mr. Betterfly, approved of this?!" Chloé growled gritting her teeth. "First of all, calm down. And second, I have no idea who are you talking about..." Gabriel said in a serious tone to Chloé. "DADDY!" She shouted as Bob Roth, the owner of Bob Roth Records was counting the money in his briefcase.
"Like we said before, kid: movie making's all about compromise." Bob said, shaking some of the money in front of her and puts money into briefcase and shuts it. "Sorry, Chloé. It was for the good of the film." Marinette stated as Chloé angrily shoved Sabrina's offered banana away. "Ridiculous!" She shouted as she slammed the door open. "Utterly ridiculous!"
"But most of all, it's for the good of my plan. Chloé has always an excellent source of inspiration." Dark Moth smiled from behind looking through Gabriel's tablet in Shadow Moth's lair. "Shadow Moo, akumatise her." He demanded to Gabriel's shock. "Are you mad? Miss Bourgeois and I had given out our respective apology speeches until you showed up. Her anger and jealousy is her own doing. I'll have no part of it." Gabriel said. "Is that so? Too bad you made a deal with a devil like me... And a deal with me... is binding..." Dark Moth said as he began to possess Gabriel's body with a handshake, to Nooroo and Duusu's horror.
Cue Transformation Sequence for Shadow Moth. "Nooroo, Duusu, Unify!" He shouted using the Butterfly and Peacock Miraculous as Dark Moth possessing Gabriel transforms into Shadow Moth. He then creates an akuma and an amok, sending them off. "Fly away, my little akuma, and you too, my amok. Bring Miss Bourgeois back into the web of evil."
Chloé heads to the exit of the movie theater with a very mad expression on her face. Adrien runs after her. "Hey, wait!" Adrien shouted as Chloé turns around. "Adrikins, it's sweet of you to want to console me, but I'm fine. I just need to be alone." She said. "Actually, I came to suggest that you apologize to everyone." Adrien suggested. "Are you mental?! You're as blind as your father was when he became Hawk Moth! They've ruined my film!" Chloé shouted. "It was never your film, Chloé. It belonged to the group." Adrien stated.
"You promised me one time you'd make an effort to stop being mean to everyone. I warned you that if you didn't, then we can no longer be friends." Adrien reminded to Chloé that she'd stop being mean to everyone, the day her butler became akumatised as Despair Bear. "You even made a promise to the people of Paris you'd be good again." He reminded her of her apology speech as she was trying to hide her anger.
"You think you can bring up those days... You're as ridiculous that film! It's over, you're no longer my Adrikins, you're Adrinothing!" Chloé shouted pounding her fist on a table, to Adrien's shock, until she realizes she's experiencing a mood swing. "I'm sorry... I really need to be alone!" She said tearing up as she runs off to the limousine and cries inside. The akuma and the amok enter through her limo's window, and lands in a pin on her hat, as Shadow Moth possessed by Dark Moth, communicates with her as a butterfly mask appeared on her face. "Hello Miss Bourgeois. Do you recognize my voice?" Dark Moth spoke in unison with Shadow Moth.
"Who is this?! Gabriel? You're back as Hawk Moth again?!" Chloé asked in shock. "Afraid not. It's Shadow Moth now... However, I tried to make you confess that you were Hawk Moo's little confidant, when I was PJ... and Dark Mills." Dark Moth smirked as Chloé realized. "Dark Mills? Dark Moth?! Why'd you make Adrikin's daddy evil again?! Get out of my head! I won't let evilise me like you did to my half of a sister!" Chloé shouted holding her head. "Look here now... Don't fight it. You want revenge on little Zoé, I can help with that." Dark Moth said as his voice was mixed with Shadow Moth's. "No means no! I promised I'd be good!" She shouted.
"Did Ladybug tell to do that? Think of everything she put you through with these names. Antibug when she called you a liar about Vanisher, your bestest best friend, Sabrina. Queen Wasp when you became Queen Bee to try to impress your mommy, in front of everybody. And last but least, Miracle Queen." Dark Moth said bringing up those names when she became akumatised by Hawk Moth, having Chloé snap, making her hatred on Ladybug reignite, causing her to let herself be evilised.
"That's more like it." Dark Moth smiled from his lair. "Queen Banana, I am Shadow Moth. Once again, they refuse to recognize your true talent, so I give you the power to show them who the real star of Paris is." He said. "Fine, but I want a giant monkey who throws exploding bananas." Chloé demanded. "You want it? You got it. I will be the director of your dreams. In exchange for your powers-" Chloé interrupts Shadow Moth, right when he was about to ask her in exchange of Ladybug and Cat Noir's Miraculouses. "Yeah, yeah, I know, Ladybug and Cat Noir's Miraculous. You'll have them!" Chloé said. "Good girl." Dark Moth smirked as he snapped his fingers, having Chloé transform into Queen Banana along with her car, and a large and muscular sentimonster banana-themed gorilla, Banana Boom-Boom, appears. She blasts people with her banana gun and drives her car to Banana Boom-Boom's head.
"Banana Boom-Boom, action!" Queen Banana ordered as the gorilla roared and starts destroying the movie theater. Adrien looks down and walks away, very upset with Chloé about how she acted earlier. Suddenly, he falls after the destruction. "Where is my useless half-of-a-sister? Banana Boom-Boom, peel them off!" Queen Banana shouted as the sentimonster hits people, turning them into bananas. Adrien and Marinette with Zoé run away. Adrien and Marinette went to different restrooms for their respective Kwamis (Tikki and Plagg) to have them transform.
"Plagg, claws out!" Adrien said when he closed the door, transforming into Cat Noir. Meanwhile, Marinette and Zoé run up the emergency stairs. "She's mainly mad at me, so I should try and reason with her." Zoé said to Marinette. "Unfortunately, no one can reason with your sister, Zoé. Especially when she acts like this. Listen, you stay here, I'm gonna... try to find a way out." She runs up and sees Queen Banana wreaking havoc.
Cue Ladybug Transformation Sequence.
"Tikki, spots on! Yeah!" Marinette transforms into Ladybug as Tikki warps into her earrings. She then becomes Ladybug.
Cat Noir then confronts Queen Banana. "Hey there, banana queen! So what's your superpower? Making people slip on banana peels?" He asked as Queen Banana glares at him. "You're about to find out, you ridiculous annoying cat!" She said blasting away. Cat Noir runs as Queen Banana and Banana Boom-Boom attack. He uses his staff to deflect the blasts. Ladybug grabs him with her yo-yo, saving him from another one. They jump down.
"Careful! Dark Moth must've did this to Chloé." Ladybug stated. "I gotta admit, I'm a little jealous of her gear." Cat Noir added as Ladybug extracts an ear communicator from her yo-yo. "Totally unnecessary, nothing can beat a Cat and Ladybug duo." She said as Cat Noir extracts an ear communicator from his staff. "Well, we *do* make the perfect pair, m'lady." They take off to face Queen Banana. They try to attack her, but she fights back with bananas.
"Well, we've got gear, too. Lucky Charm!" Ladybug shouted sending her yo-yo in the air, and the Lucky Charm turns into a scooter, which she dodges so it doesn't land on her and she checks it. "Scooter, helmets, tube of glue, cartridges, air pipe... Everything needed to fix a flat tire. That's a lot to process." She looks around and forms a plan using the glue and the banana gun with her Lucky Vision on how to use the Lucky Charm. "Something is missing, but what?" She asked. "Hey, Chloé!" Shouted Zoé as Queen Banana looks down to sees Zoé standing in front. "You wanted me... Here I am!" She shouted. "Of course: Zoé!" Ladybug said as she puts on a helmet.
"Ready for a transatlantic voyage on the banana express?" Queen Banana asked to Zoé. "Only if you promise to stop doing evil in Paris. Like you did back at your speech." Zoé said. "Sure. I'll cooperate." Queen Banana said sarcastically as she started to point her banana gun at a passerby, turning him into a banana. "Oops. Did I do that?" She asked. That was a Steve Urkel reference. "Dang it, Chloé! You've become Dark Moth's puppet! A pawn for a devil!" Zoé shouted angrily. "Banana Boom-Boom, grab her!" Queen Banana ordered as Ladybug grabs Zoé on board the scooter, and they drive away from Banana Boom-Boom. "Cat Noir, cover us!" Ladybug shouted.
"Cataclysm!" Cat Noir shouted activating his Cat Miraculous's destructive power. Queen Banana drives off the sentimonster, which makes Cat Noir accidentally hit him with the cataclysm. As a result, the sentimonster goes berserk and roars crazily. Ladybug facepalms. "Seriously?!" Ladybug shouted. "Oops. I did it again." Cat Noir said in a high voice. This was a Britney Spears reference to her song, "Oops, I Did It Again." Banana Boom-Boom attacks him and the surroundings. "Nice move, heroes..." Queen Banana spoke sarcastically. "When he's out of control, Banana Boom-Boom is even more destructive! Have fun, you two!" She flies off in the car.
"Hang on tight." Ladybug said to Zoé as they drive to the metro, closely followed by Queen Banana, but end up alone because she gets stuck since her car is too big. "You'll have to come out sometime, Ladybug, especially if you don't wanna see my monkey make a banana smoothie out of your kitty! Good ahead, make a plan. I'll be waiting." Queen Banana cackled.
Ladybug takes her helmet and turns to Zoé. "We don't have much time. I need your help to save Cat Noir and Chloé." She reaches the Bee Miraculous out of her yo-yo. "Me, help you?" Zoé asked.
"Zoé Lee, here is the Bee Miraculous, which grants you the power to immobilize your opponent." Zoé takes it with uncertainty. "You will use it for the greater good." Pollen, the Bee Kwami flies out. "Is this... a Kwami?" Zoé asked. "Yes. Pollen the Bee Kwami at your service, my queen." Pollen bowed to Zoé, but the girl looked down. "But Chloé's gonna be furious, she used to be Queen Bee!" Zoé said. "Chloé will never know it's you. Besides, she asked me to make you her successor as holder of the Bee Miraculous." Ladybug stated. "She did?" Zoé asked. "She did?" Pollen asked at the same time as Zoé. "Yes... Unlike her," Ladybug places a finger to her lips. "you'll keep your identity a secret. And once the job is complete, you will return the Miraculous to me. Understood?" Ladybug asked.
"But... I can't do it, I'm not strong enough, I—" Zoé said hesitantly as Ladybug places hand on Zoé's shoulder. "I know you can do this." Ladybug said to reassure her. "How do I do this?" Zoé asked. "Easy. You have only one thing to say, my queen: "Pollen, buzz on"." Pollen instructed as Zoé puts the Bee comb Miraculous on.
Cue Bee Miraculous Transformation.
"Pollen, buzz on!" Zoé shouted as Pollen warps into the Bee Miraculous comb, and she transforms into Vesperia.
Ladybug swings out, and Queen Bananas starts shooting and follows her. Vesperia leaves once the coast is clear. "Yoo-hoo!" Vesperia shouted. Banana Boom-Boom and Cat Noir fight at the Roue de Paris area of Paris. The sentimonster grabs him. "Hey, you big ape! How about fighting someone your own size?" Vesperia shouted getting Banana Boom-Boom's attention.
"Venom!" She shouted activating her Miraculous's power, bringing out her spinning top. Banana Boom-Boom throws Cat Noir away and starts shooting bananas at Vesperia, who dodges them. She ends up running up his arm and using the Venom on his head. She lands next to Cat Noir. "Queen Bee?" Cat Noir spoke. "No, the name's Vesperia!" Vesperia corrected as Cat Noir's ring started to flash because he used his Cataclysm. "Ladybug's gonna need us again." Vesperia spoke. "Thrilled to make your acquaintance, Vesperia." Cat Noir kisses her hand, to Vesperia's surprise. "Just give me a second." They run to opposite sides of the Ferris wheel and de-transform. As Adrien gives camembert to Plagg, the latter starts regarding Zoé for her potential.
"That Vesperia is to Queen Bee what Fourme d'Ambert is to Roquefort: sweeter, more refined and much nicer." Plagg stated as he eats a piece of Camembert. The two transform again and run to join Ladybug in the Streets of Paris where she dodges the explosive bananas but trips. "You're slipping, bug brain. Now I'm going to turn you into banana bread!" Queen Banana shouted until Cat Noir comes in from behind. "Cataclysm!" He destroys the car as Queen Banana jumps out and lands next to Ladybug. "Give me your Miraculous, or else I'll turn her into baby food!" Queen Banana demanded to Cat Noir as she holds her banana gun to Ladybug's head. However, Vesperia lands on the ground with her Venom activated. "Queen Banana, you're not even capable of a fair fight with the new holder of the Bee Miraculous!"
"Who are you to say that to me?! I'm the one and only Queen Bee!" Queen Banana shouted. "Oh, you were, but I am the Queen Bee you're supposed to be until who you used to be." Vesperia said as Ladybug discretely puts glue where Queen Bananas stores the banana gun. "And you're only the queen of bananas! Ladybug chose me to defend Paris because she said you couldn't do it." Queen Banana, furious, blasts Vesperia, turning her into a banana and freeing Ladybug in the meantime.
'And what are you going to defend now that you're a banana?" Queen Banana cackled as she puts her banana gun away. She turns to Ladybug and Cat Noir. "Now see what happens to people who don't see things my way? Give me your Miraculous!" She tries to pull out the banana gun, but it's stuck. "This Lucky Charm glue is really good. And so is Vesperia, don't you think, Cat Noir?" Ladybug asked to her partner, Cat Noir. "You counted your bananas before they were peeled, Queen Banana." Cat Noir said. "No, not again!" Queen Banana shouted as Ladybug makes her trip with her yo-yo. Cat Noir uses his staff to toss the pin to Ladybug, who smashes it on the floor. The akuma and amok fly out.
"No more evil-doing for you, little akuma." Ladybug opens her yo-yo and spins it around. "Time to de-evilize!" She catches both the akuma and the amok feather with her yo-yo. "Gotcha!" She opens her yo-yo releasing the butterfly and amok. "Bye-bye, little butterfly. Bye, little feather." Ladybug then throws the box which came with the scooter up. "Miraculous Ladybug!" The magic ladybugs then fly out and the damage Queen Banana made is repaired, and Chloé returns to normal. "Pound it!" Ladybug and Cat Noir bump fists together.
Ladybug and Cat Noir look towards Chloé. "You need to learn to control your anger, Chloé." Ladybug said as she creates a Magical Charm. "This Magical Charm will protect you. Take it." She offered until Chloé smacked it away. "Like I'm going to take advice from you, Ladybug!" She said furiously as she turns to Vesperia. "And you, Vesperia. You're only a fake version of Queen Bee." She storms off to the movie theater. "What just happened?" Ladybug asked in confusion.
Shadow Moth begins to expel Dark Moth from having to possess him. "Dark, you need to stop!" He shouted. "Never. Queen Banana's film has turned out to be a flop, but the script will be rewritten very soon." Dark Moth then prepares another akuma for Chloé. "No, stop!" Gabriel shouted. "Chloé, your endless supply of anger promises multitude of chaos." Dark Moth chuckled as the akuma flies off.
"That sure was strange... It's almost like Chloé's upset about us since the Miracle Queen incident again." Ladybug stated. "And it looked like Dark Moth's made her reignited that anger at us." Cat Noir spoke as Ladybug picked up the Magical Charm. "We'd better recharge our kwamis before Darky uses Shadow Moth to akumatise her again." Cat Noir spoke as he bowed his head to Vesperia and Ladybug. "Vesperia, m'lady." He jumps off. "What do we do? This Magical Charm can help Chloé escape Dark Moth's possession, but I can't force her to wear it." Ladybug said as Vesperia smiled with a thought. "I got a plan. Trust me." Vesperia said.
Time passes and Vesperia de-transformed back to Zoé off-screen.
Chloé storms in the movie theatre. "I want to shoot my film!" She demanded as Zoé comes in from behind. "Chloé, give it a rest. It doesn't matter if you try to send me back to New York, I'm done playing the supporting role for the good of our family." Zoé said trying to reason with her, but Chloé makes an angry "Homer Simpson" like growl at her. "DADDY!" She shouted, but André spoke confidently and sternly. "Zoé is right, Chloé. You can ask me for a new cellphone or to paint the limousine pink, but you can't ask me to hurt your sister." He spoke as Chloé started shaking with anger. "Don't call her that. She's not even half of a sister, she's nothing to me! I—" She turns to Zoé. "I hate you!"
Zoé places her hands on Chloé's shoulders. "You may hate me, but I love you, and I always will, even if the whole world hates you, sister." She hugs Chloé. "Remember? We have the same mother! Look, she even gave me this gift." She reaches out the Magical Charm. "Well, if it comes from mom, then I'm the one who gets to wear it. So, give it!" Chloé demanded as the akuma flew into the building. "Okay. What's mine is yours, and what's yours is mine, just like the song says." Zoé said giving the Charm to Chloé. She closes Chloé's hand. "We are family." Zoe said. "Enough with quoting songs." Chloé puts the Charm on as a necklace, and the akuma is blocked by a pink forcefield, as Marinette watched. "It worked!"
From Shadow Moth's lair, he smiles that his akum was repelled. "Yes! In your face... Dark Moo." Dark Moth growls and starts to pound his head on a wall in frustration, and Gabriel watches with satisfaction.
"Everyone, my daughter has something she'd like to say for what happened today." André spoke. "I won't say it!" Chloé said shaking her head. "Chloé! You promised you'd be a better person since that speech of yours. Last thing I need is for your mother and me to be turned into Style Queen and Malediktator, or Heart Hunter." He said sternly as his daughter frowned. "I'm sorry, everyone." Chloé said to her class. "Thank you, Chloé." André spoke.
"I'm out of here." Chloé walks off as Adrien walks in. "Chloé! You okay?" He asked. "I'm just fine, Adrikins. I'm happy as a monkey in a tree. Now, if you don't mind, you let me be." Chloé replied gritting her teeth as she left the theater. "Zoé did it!" Marinette said in her hiding place. "Maybe this will help Chloé become a better person time." Tikki said peeking out of Marinette's coin purse. "Let's hope so, Tikki." Marinette said to her Kwami while hiding.
