Somewhere on Earth, the Nemesis descends towards a mine and a large elevator descended from the ship's hatch as it opened up. Starscream started boasting to his, leader, Megatron.
Starscream: Of all the energon deposits we have located while you away, Lord Megatron, this one is by far the most significant. The drones have been mining without pause during your absence and have amassed quite a stockpile.
Starscream then looked as one of the drones.
Starscream: You there, fetch me a sample!
Megatron: Starscream!
Starscream got startled and turned around to see his master, walking towards him and passed him.
Megatron: Now that I have returned, I will issue the commands.
Starscream: I understand, Lord Megatron. Then as your humble servant, shall I ready the space bridge, to bring forth the Decepticon army you have surely gathered during your three years in space?
Megatron: My army will come, but my time away has yielded a more intriguing means of materializing them, a solidified form of the matter the ancients refer to as the 'blood of Unicron'.
Megatron shows his second-in-command the purple crystalline shard he had in his hand. Starscream looked at the crystal with familiarity as he guarded a batch of the same form of Energon for thousands of years before joining Megatron. This was the reason why Starscream joined the Decepticons.
Starscream: Unicorn the destroyer. But it is said that his blood is the anti-spark. It has been practically non-existent since Cybertron went dark.
Megatron: Plucked from cosmic shores. Gaze upon . . . Dark Energon!
Starscream: Legend tells that it holds the power to… revive the dead.
Megatron: We require only a cadaver to be certain.
He then looks at his second-in-command.
Megatron: Are you willing to make the ultimate sacrifice?
Starscream chuckles nervously, not want to be used as a science experiment for Megatron's power tricks.
Starscream: That may not be necessary. If I may Lord Megatron?
He then presents his master the fallen Autobot Prowl on the table, with his hands and legs wrapped with metallic locks.
Starscream: Consider it, 'a welcome home present'.
Megatron smirks looking at the dead autobot in the process.
(Sonic the Hedgehog: Transformers Prime)
Meanwhile at the Autobot base, Optimus was still going over why he requested that the humans should become their allies. He also talked about the visit of Sonic and Tails might bring them the edge of the favor they need, until they get back to their own world.
Optimus: And since you now know of our existence, I fear as of last night, the Decepticons know of yours.
Jack: Got it. If we spot any strange vehicles, call 911. Can we... go now?
Sonic, Tails, and Miko looked at him when he said that.
Sonic: What?!
Miko: Are you insane? I'm living a dream here in 'Bot'-swana. And I will not allow you or anyone else to shatter it!
Sonic: And we don't need the police. Last time when Tails and I first got into a human world, it did not end well for us.
Tails: Yeah. And they kept chasing us until we proved to them that we were heroes from another world, so we don't need the police involved.
Optimus agreed of what Sonic and Tails, which was why he was letting them stay here.
Optimus: It is best that you five remain under our watch. At least until we determine our enemies' intentions... And if Sonic and Tails find a way back to their world.
Ratchet looked at Optimus when he said this.
Ratchet: Optimus, with all due respect, the human children and those two animals are in as much danger here as anywhere.
Jack: Children?
Sonic and Tails: Animals?!
Cliffjumper and Arcee saw their reactions.
Cliffjumper: I think you offended them, Doc.
Arcee: He sure did.
Ratchet gave them a look and turned back to Optimus.
Ratchet: Sonic may have the speed of light and Tails can fly, but just like the humans, they have no protective shell. If they get underfoot, they will go… squish.
To prove his point, Ratchet took a little step that made the children back away from him. It also made Tails to stay up in the air for awhile.
Optimus: Then for the time being, Ratchet, we must watch where we step.
That's when the alarm started blaring and green lights started flashing in the entire room.
Sonic: Huh?
Jack: What's that?
Bumblebee: (Don't worry; it's our proximity sensors, which tell us someone comes from the base's top.)
While Jack, Miko, and Sonic couldn't understand Bee, Raf and Tails did.
Tails: Proximity sensor.
Raf: Someone's on top.
Sonic: Who's on top?
Ratchet looks at the Computer to see who it was.
Ratchet: It's Agent Fowler
When Sonic heard the word 'Agent', he was not happy.
Sonic: Seriously? I thought the police weren't involved.
Jack: And I thought we were the only ones that knew about you guys.
Optimus turns to look at Sonic, Tails, and the kids.
Optimus: Special Agent Fowler is our designated liaison to the outside world. As he tends to visit only when there are issues, it may be best if you do not meet him at this time.
Sonic spin-dashed a hole in the floor to hide in, Tails flew to the ceiling, hiding into the shadows, and the kids hid behind some metal boxes. The elevator made it's decent to the main haul, the doors opened and Agent Fowler entered the base, but he did not seem very happy.
Agent Fowler: 7 wrecks, 34 Fender benders, a 3-hour traffic jam, and a particular note, numerous reports of a speeding motorcycle of unknown make, a red dodge challenger with horns at its front, and a black and yellow muscular car!
Fowler looked at Arcee, Bumblebee, and Cliffjumper when he said that. However, they just looked at each other and shrugged.
Jack looked at Fowler and hid away with Miko and Raf before he could see the 16 year old. Sonic peeked out of the hole and saw Fowler as well, but ducked back inside the hole he made. Tails, who stopped flying, was standing on the pipe that attached to the ceiling and looked down at Fowler too. He took a few deep breaths before flying again.
Agent Fowler: So anything you care to get off your tin chest, Prime?
Optimus: We have the situation under control, Agent Fowler.
Agent Fowler: They're back, aren't they?
Optimus: If you are referring to the Decepticons, I have doubts that they have ever left. Your planet is too valuable.
Agent Fowler: Then it's time to wake up the pentagon.
Optimus: Hear me, Agent Fowler. We are your best, possibly your only defense against the Decepticon threat.
Agent Fowler: Says you.
Fowler then turn to Bulkhead when he got his attention.
Bulkhead: Hey fleshy. Did anyone get splattered on that freeway?
Bulkhead grabs Ratchet's manipulator arm.
Bulkhead: Team Prime knows when to use force... And how much to use.
Bulkhead then accidentally breaks it as he uses too much strength on it. Ratchet saw this and was ticked off!
Ratchet: Bulkhead, I needed that!
Optimus looked at Ratchet and Bulkhead.
Optimus: Enough.
He then turns back to Fowler.
Optimus: Military involvement will only result in catastrophe. Perhaps you can condone widespread human casualties, Agent Fowler. I, however, cannot.
Fowler looks at Prime, then walks to the elevator.
Agent Fowler: Then do us both a favor and handle this prime, under the radar... Or I will.
The elevator then closed as Fowler left the base and went back to the surface. Sonic, Tails, and the kids got out of their hiding places.
Sonic: Talk about a close shave.
Tails flew back down to the ground.
Tails: You think? I'm just happy he didn't saw us, Sonic.
Sonic: Me too, buddy.
Bulkhead walks to Optimus.
Bulkhead: Pretty big bearings... For a human.
Optimus: Agent Fowler is concerned for his world, Bulkhead, as he should be.
Sonic agreed to Optimus.
Sonic: Yeah, I mean, I'm mad he threatened you guys, but he's just want the world safe... Commander Tower would've done the same thing.
Tails remembers the Commander of G.U.N back on their world.
Tails: Yeah, he would do whatever it takes to safe his friends and family...
Bulkhead looks at them, being confused.
Bulkhead: Who's Commander Tower?
Sonic: Back on my world, Commander Tower, or Abraham Tower, is the one who operates police and agents.
Tails: He's also the superior unit to G.U.N., also known as the Guardian Units of the Nation.
Bulkhead: Wow.
Sonic: Yeah, I know.
Tails smiles at Sonic.
Back with the Decepticons, Megatron looked at the corpse of Prowl, while holding the dark energon spark.
Megatron: Let us see if power born of Darkness can reignite the spark.
He stabbed the dead body with the shard of dark energon. The shard went into the body of Prowl, while Starscream walked back, a little in fear. While the Terrorcon, that was Prowl, snarled as he woke up and broke the locks that were on his limbs. The Vehicons that brought his body to Megatron suddenly aimed their blasters at the terrorcon and the terrorcon clobbered the Vehicon on the left and beated him to death and then the other Vehicon started shooting at him and he soon clobbered him and did the same to him as well. Starscream and Megatron watched what the terrorcon was doing to the Vehicons and Starscream was freaked out by this.
Starscream: That's your plan?! Bring Autobots back from the dead to attack us?!
Megatron: That is no longer an Autobot. Just a mindless beast, it's only instinct to destroy anything in its path.
The terrorcon suddenly snarled and ran up to the warlord and the cowardly seeker, but he was ready for the terrorcon as Starscream got out of the way and Megatron unleashes his sword and cut the terrorcon in half and one of the terrorcon fell from the platform down into the mine,while the torso half held onto the edge of the platform.
Megatron: There, Starscream, rise of the indestructible seed of my army, the ultimate weapon.
The terrorcon snarled as Megatron walked up to him and stepped on his head before kicking him towards another platform.
Megatron: Once I learn to control it.
Starscream walked next to Megatron, looked down at the half-body of Prowl, and smiles darkly.
Back at the Autobot base, the computer beeps as it got Prowl's life signal piping back online. Ratchet saw this and he turned around to the others.
Ratchet: Blasted Earth tech! Prowl's signal just pop back online.
Sonic: Huh?
Tails: Prowl?
Miko: Who's Prowl?
Cliffjumper: Prowl was one of the police back on Cybertron. He was partners with Jazz, Arcee, and me. When we got to Earth, he and I were fighting the 'cons, but he was captured and killed by them...
Sonic and the kids felt bad for Cliff. Tails felt bad the most, since he was about to have a plane crash, if Cliff haven't saved him. However, he didn't show his sadness to Sonic, who almost saw it.
Optimus: How is that possible?
Ratchet: It isn't. Another bug, the system's chock-full of them.
Arcee and Cliff looks at Optimus.
Arcee: If there's a chance Prowl's alive...
Cliffjumper: Optimus, I know this does sounds crazy, but if Prowl is alive, we need to save him. I want to make up for my mistake, and saving him will fix it.
Optimus Prime nods at Cliff before turning to Ratchet.
Optimus: Ratchet, prepare sick bay. We may need it.
Optimus then activates his battle mask and starts walking away. However, he turned around when Miko got his attention.
Miko: Hey! What can we do?
Sonic and Tails looked at her in disbelief.
Tails: Miko, going with them is too dangerous.
Sonic: Yeah, and besides, Optimus might need me and Tails for this one. So, Optimus, what can Tails and I do?
Optimus looked at Sonic and Tails. Sure, they have super-powered abilities and could be helpful, but he didn't want to risk them getting hurt or captured by the Decepticons. Besides, this mission is only a search and rescue.
Optimus: Remain with Ratchet.
Sonic: What?!
Miko: Aw!
Ratchet looks at them as well, and he wasn't happy that they had to stay with him.
Ratchet: Aw...
After that, he activated a switch, which caused a portal to form at a device that looked like a tunnel.
Optimus: Autobots, roll out!
Optimus Prime and the rest of the Autobots, excluding Ratchet, transformed and drove through the portal. Sonic, Tails, and the kids were shocked and amazed when they saw that.
Sonic: Woah...
Tails: Amazing...
Jack: What just happened?
Ratchet: I transported them to the designated coordinates via the Ground Bridge.
Raf: What's a Ground Bridge?
Ratchet sighed when Raf asked the question and decided to explain what it is.
Ratchet: A scaled-down version of Space Bridge technology. Since we don't currently possess the means or the Energon required for intergalactic travel.
Jack: You're stuck here... On Earth.
Ratchet: With the likes of you, yes. But I constructed the Ground Bridge to enable travel from here to anywhere on your planet.
Raf and Tails looked at the Ground Bridge.
Tails: Woah.
Raf: Does it work on humans?
Ratchet: Naturally.
Sonic then thought about something.
Sonic: Can it also work for me and Tails?
Ratchet: Hmm... Maybe.
Miko: You mean, I could just shoot on over and visit my parents in Tokyo?
Ratchet then bend down and looked at her from eye level.
Ratchet: Within moments. In fact, allow me to send you there immediately, all five of you.
Miko then gave Ratchet a warning look.
Miko: Watch it, Ratchet.
The autobots arrived in the Energon mine that the Nemesis, Starscream and Megatron were at, transformed as they exited the Ground Bridge portal, which closed behind them. Bulkhead noticed the energon within the mine they were in.
Bulkhead: Energon mine.
Optimus: Judging by it's scale, the Decepticons have been tunneling here for quite some time.
All five autobots hid behind a crystal of energon and saw multiple Vehicons of Servant class using a drill to mine energon, with a few used there blasters to slice a crystal of energon in half, Optimus then stood up.
Optimus: Let's find Prowl.
Optimus walked towards the mine and the Vehicons immediately spotted him and aimed their blasters at him and all five autobots activated their blasters back at the Vehicons who fired their blasters at the autobots, while some of the Vehicons moved the drills and used the drills to go towards them.
Bulkhead evaded the drill and knocked it over with his wrecking ball mace, while the autobots fired their blasters at the Vehicons, Arcee jumped, fired her blaster in mid air, turned around and kicked a Vehicon with her foot, then jumped onto the head of the Vehicon next to her and sliced his head off with her foot. Cliffjumper started shooting at the Vehicons, that were near Arcee. He also grabbed one of them and threw him to the others.
Bumblebee was in his Urbana 500 form and transformed in mid air, he activated his blasters and began shooting at the Vehicons below him and landed in the Vehicon, he then saw a drill coming his way and evaded it. Optimus lifted the drill up and blasted it. He then ran forward and a Vehicon was charging at him and he shot him in the chest.
Bulkhead, in his alternate mode, saw a Vehicon following Optimus and he accelerated towards the Vehicon, he then transformed and used his mace on the Vehicon killing him instantly.
Meanwhile back at base, Miko was looking at some Cybertronian technology and pointed at it.
Miko: What is this, anyway?
Ratchet: Broken, don't touch.
He walks towards the main computer of the base. He noticed that Sonic tried to touch another part of equipment with Miko.
Ratchet: Don't touch that either.
Sonic groaned in boredom.
Sonic: Aw, come on! What else can we do?
Jack: Is there anything in here we can touch?
The computer then started beeping and an 'error' appeared on the screen.
Raf: How come you guys are using human computers?
Tails: I was just about to ask the same thing.
Ratchet: It certainly wasn't by choice, it was handed down from the previous tenants when we inherited this former missile silo, I make changes as I see fit.
However, more of the systems went overload mode when all 'error' messages appeared out of nowhere, one by one. Ratchet groaned in angered seeing this.
Tails started looking at the computer and scanned it with his 'Miles Electric'. Raf saw the device that Tails was using.
Raf: Cool.
Tails: Thanks.
Raf then looks back at the computer system.
Raf: I think I can fix that.
Raf started walking away to take a laptop out of his backpack.
Ratchet: Really? You know this is complex technology, don't you? I mean, it isn't a child's toy.
However, Raf ignored him, plugged his laptop into the computer with a USB cord, and started typing as Tails flew and landed next to him and watched what he was doing. Before he finished, Tails told him to input a few extra codes he left out. Once he was satisfied with it, he told him it was good to go as he pressed the 'Enter' button.
Tails: Alright.
Raf: Now, try.
Ratchet looked up and was met with quite a shock. The error messages vanished and were replaced with green question mark icons before the screen returned to normal. He looked back at the duo, realizing that they're young genius. He then looked at Sonic who gave him a smirk.
Sonic: When you've dealt with alien tech and advanced robot tech as long as Tails have, fixing human computers is a walk in the park for him.
Ratchet: Noted.
Raf then looks at Tails.
Raf: Thanks for the help.
Tails: Anytime.
They gave each other a high five, knowing that they'll get along great.
Meanwhile back in the mine, a drill headed towards Bulkhead as he activated his mace, smashed the drill causing the Vehicon to jump in mid-air and Optimus then shoots the Vehicon with his blaster and then deactivated his blaster, everyone else did the same as the tons of Vehicons walked towards them with drills and without drills.
Optimus: Maximum overdrive!
Optimus started running forward and transforming into his semi-truck alternate mode and the other autobots followed. The Vehicons walking towards them that weren't using drills started shooting at them, causing them to slit up and as the Vehicons continued to shoot at them, the Autobot leader power slid at a Vehicon, then going in reverse, then power slid yet again, but towards a drill this time, the Vehicon driver fell out of the drill only to get run over by the rest of the autobots. Optimus then slid towards two Vehicons that was shooting at him, then sliding away from them after defeating them with his alternate modes, Bulkhead then ran over the Vehicons as he followed Optimus through the mine in his alternate mode.
The autobots transformed as they went deeper into the energon mine and hid behind silver colored metal boxes for cover and saw Vehicons walked up onto a platform, they also saw another Vehicon transporting energon on a minecart and even more doing the same thing.
Bulkhead whistled as he was impressed with the mining operation that the Decepticons were using to mine energon.
Bulkhead: Quite an operation.
Suddenly Vehicons noticed the autobots and started shooting at them, which in turn caused the autobots to shoot back at them. Cliffjumper then gave Bulk a smirking look.
Cliffjumper: You just had to say something, Bulk.
Bulkhead gave him a 'be quiet' look before turning back and resume shooting the 'Cons.
Above the mine, inside the Nemesis, Megaton was staring at a chunk of Dark Energon that was encapsulated and walked towards it.
Megatron: Blood of Unicron, how I might fathom the depths of your mystery, to become worthy of wielding your astonishing power?
That's when Starscream appeared from the screen.
Starscream: Lord Megatron, intruders have been detected in the mines.
Megatron: Optimus?
Starscream: Indeed.
As much as Megatron wanted to go down at the mines and finish his rival and the Autobots for good, he knew that this isn't proper place for an epic battle.
Megatron: I need more time to prepare an appropriate reception for my old friend.
He then looks at Starscream, who was on the monitor.
Megatron: Ready the ship for departure.
The seeker panicked when Megatron ordered them to leave.
Starscream: But the energon I've mined, the Autobots will seized it!
Megatron: Then blow the mines!
Back within the mines the autobots were still shooting at the Vehicons and Arcee ducked down as she saw something and looked up and saw her deceased partner on a platform above them.
Arcee: Cliff, look, it's Prowl!
Cliff looked where Arcee was pointing and saw him as well. He then nods at his partner and looks at Optimus.
Cliffjumper: We have a visual.
Optimus: We'll cover you. Go!
The autobots continued to shoot Vehicons, while Arcee and Cliffjumper transformed into their alternate mode and sped up a ramp and jumped in mid air and landed onto one of the levels of the Nemesis's elevator, while jumping towards the platform where the terrorcon was, with acrobatic skills.
When they got to the platform, Cliff and 'Cee gasped when they saw Prowl leaking purple energon. However, the vehicons were shooting at them once again, causing the platform to fall out. Prowl fell out with it.
Arcee: Prowl!
Cliffjumper: I got the 'cons, partner. Get Prowl!
Arcee: Got it!
Arcee ran to the fallen and grabbed Prowl's hand just in time and Cliffjumper was shooting the vehicons. They Cons started shooting back at Cliffjumper but Bumblebee blasted them. Meanwhile, Arcee pulls Prowl up, while the autobots were blasting at the 'cons.
Arcee: Let's get you home, partner.
However, Prowl woke up, looked up at Arcee, and snarled at her. Arcee, who was scared, realizes that Prowl wasn't himself, causing her to let him go. Cliff saw this and tried to grab the body, but it was too late as Prowl fell into the energon. Arcee grunted, knowing that she failed to save him. Cliff knelt down and looked where Prowl fell in. He had sadness in his optics, knowing that he also failed to save him. That's when they all heard familiar laughter from a platform above them and saw Starscream.
Starscream: Prime!
All of the Autobots looked at him in anger.
Starscream: I'd stick around, but I'm squeamish.
He activated a bomb before letting go of it, which fell into the energon. He then jumped off the platform and transformed into his alternative mode and flew out of the energon mine.
Bulkhead: The joint's gonna blow!
Optimus: Autobots, roll out!
They transformed into their vehicle modes and drove out. However, the bomb went off and the energon, one by one, exploded. Optimus and the others were still driving away from the explosion that was gaining on them. Optimus then contacted Ratchet.
Optimus: Ratchet, bridge us back!
The Ground Bridge portal opened at the same location they arrived at and all five autobots entered the portal.
The Autobot arrived back at base with an explosion coming from behind and they transformed as Ratchet closed the Ground Bridge. Sonic, Tails, and the humans were amazed at how the autobots came back. Ratchet then looked at his team.
Ratchet: Cutting a bit close. How about Prowl?
They lowered down their heads when Ratchet asked the question. Sonic and Tails looked at them in sadness, realizing that whoever Prowl was, they were too late to save him. However, Miko started to ask questions.
Miko: What was that explosion? Was there a fight? Can I come with next time?
Arcee groaned as she heard Miko wanting to come with them next time they go battle Decepticons.
Arcee: Look!
Before she could say anything else to Miko, Jack walked to her.
Jack: H-Hey, Miko, let's go see what the bots hide in their sock drawers.
Miko: Seriously?
Once Jack and Miko walked away, Optimus looks at Arcee and Cliffjumper.
Optimus: Arcee, Cliffjumper, what did you see?
Cliffjumper looked down in regret and Arcee wrapped her arms around her chest.
Cliffjumper: I-I don't even know if it was Prowl or not... It looked like a monster.
Arcee: It wasn't Prowl. Well... at least, not anymore. He was mutated, butchered like something from those 'Con experiments during the war.
She then fell down. Cliff saw this and he and Bumblebee went to her to help.
Cliffjumper: Arcee?
Bumblebee: (Are you okay, Arcee?)
Arcee: I'm fine, just dizzy.
Miko was confused when Arcee said she was dizzy.
Miko: Robots who get dizzy?
Raf: Robots with emotions.
Tails: Robots... who have feelings.
Sonic: Robots who can think.
Jack: Robots... who can die.
Arcee sat on top of a metal box as Ratchet scanned her with his scanner upwards then downwards and so on till the scanner's light flashed red as the light hovered over her left wrist.
Ratchet: What's this?
Arcee: Don't know. Prowl was covered with in it. Leaking it.
Ratchet scooped up the purple energon with a cybertronian knife.
Ratchet: Go take a decontamination bath, now.
Cliffjumper and Bumblebee helped Arcee up to get her to get decontaminated from the purple energon. Meanwhile, Jack was trying to phone his mother but couldn't.
Jack: O-Optimus, I-I hate to bug, but no bars.
Optimus: Security precaution, the silo walls isolate all radio waves.
Jack: Well, if I don't call my mom, like, now, I'm pretty sure the cops will be out looking for me.
Optimus: Have you broken a law?
Jack: Uh, curfew. It's after 10 PM.
Raf: I better get home, too, or I'll be grounded for a year.
Sonic and Tails heard what Raf said.
Sonic: Grounded for a year? Okay, that's a little too strict.
Tails: Well, Sonic, he does have a mom.
Raf agreed what Tails said. Sonic then nods at Tails and Raf, while Optimus forgotten and realized about the Earth customs.
Optimus: Earth customs. I hadn't considered. But the issue of your safety remains.
He turns to Bulkhead.
Optimus: Bulkhead, accompany Miko home.
Miko: Awesome. My Host parents will freak!
Optimus: And maintain covert surveillance in vehicle form.
Bulkhead: Curbside duty. Got it.
Miko, however, wasn't trilled, because she wanted her parents to see Bulkhead in his robot mode.
Miko: Aw!
Optimus turns to Bumblebee next.
Optimus: Bumblebee, you will watch over Raf.
Bumblebee looks at Raf and smiles at him. Raf smiles back at Bee. Optimus then decides to look for someone to watch over Jack.
Optimus: Ratchet?
Ratchet: Busy.
The medic was trying to analyze the purple energon and he doesn't want to be watching over a human. Optimus saw that Arcee was finished with her decontamination bath.
Optimus: Arcee. You'll accompany Jack.
Arcee didn't want to be 'bodyguard', so she pretended to still be dizzy.
Arcee: Still dizzy.
Ratchet: You're fine, says your physician.
Optimus then looks at Sonic and Tails, wondering who will be their partners.
Optimus: Though that you two may have…unearthly abilities…I feel it would be best if you have an Autobot guardian with you outside the base. You can never be too careful.
Sonic and Tails looked at each other. After a few minutes of thinking, they turn their attention to Optimus.
Sonic: Alright.
Tails: Fine by me.
Later at night, Cliffjumper was given Tails and Sonic a ride. The two couldn't believe that they were in another dimension, where giant robots, who are from another planet, exist. While Sonic was asleep, Tails was awake, still felt bad for what happen to Prowl, who was partners with Arcee and Cliffjumper.
Tails: Cliff? Can I tell you something?
Cliffjumper: What is it, kid?
Tails: I-I... um... I'm sorry for what happen, Cliff. Bumblebee told how you and Arcee became best friends with him. Prowl didn't deserve what happen to him. If I haven't came to this world, you wouldn't have to save me and let Prowl get captured.
Cliffjumper could feel the regret and sorrow coming from his voice. He knew that he wasn't lying either, but he also didn't blame Tails for Prowl's death.
Cliffjumper: Thanks, Tails. I appreciate it... And I don't blame you for Prowl's death. Besides, The Cons are the ones who killed him.
Tails: I know. I just wish I could make up for it.
Cliffjumper: Don't worry, kid. You'll be fine.
Cliffjumper finally stopped. Tails then saw his destroyed bi-plane at the site where Cliff and the deceased Prowl battled the Cons.
Tails: That's the place...
Tails got out of Cliff's vehicle mode. He then brought out his toolbox. Cliffjumper sees his toolbox and assumed something.
Cliffjumper: You're going to fix your plane?
Tails: Yes, but I'll also be building a house and a workshop.
Tails got started building while Sonic was sleeping in Cliff's vehicle mode. Cliff also slept as well, ready for the next day.
Later In a suburban neighborhood of Jasper, Arcee was in her motorcycle form and drove Jack to his house, a one story sized house. As she approached the driveway, the house's garage opened up, she drove into it and Jack stepped onto the gear to stop her motorcycle from falling over. He then walked around her.
Jack: Arcee, I just wanted to say… I'm really sorry for your loss.
Arcee: What could you possibly know about loss?
Jack: What, you think you're the only one with problems?
She then transformed and bent down on her knees, to not damage the garage.
Arcee: I'm not sure girl trouble counts.
He scoffs, holding his arms.
Jack: Well, I-I'm pretty sure my girl trouble started the night I met you,
Just then a car appeared on the driveway. Arcee, seeing a car behind them, activated her blasters, thinking it was a Con.
Arcee: Cons!
Jack: No! Mom.
June: Jack?
When June got out of her car, she notices Arcee in her alternate mode.
Jack: Mom! Don't...Don't freak. I can explain.
June: Can you?
she places her hands on her hips and walked into the garage up towards where Arcee was.
June: Jackson Darby, we've talked about this.
Jack: Yeah, I know.
June: You don't know. I worry about you enough when you're not here. Now I have to worry about you driving a motorcycle?"
Jack: I'm 16, I can't be driving a 10-speed forever.
She looking at Arcee in her alternate mode.
June: How did you even afford this?
Jack: Uh, I-It's used. It's abused really. Needs a ton of repairs. The point is, I may have been a kid when I bought this, but I'm not anymore. You tell to make responsible choices. Well, I-I chose her. And I'll be responsible, I promise.
June: Her? I didn't be bringing girls home just yet.
Jack: I like to think she brought me.
She warned him before walking towards the door to the inside of their house.
June: Well, I'm glad you finally have a reason to wear your helmet, every single time you ride! You will take me for a spin every once in a while.
Arcee tilts her side-view mirror as Jack follows his mother,
Jack: We'll see. She's kind of temperamental.
He turns the light off and goes inside the house as the garage door closes.
The next morning Arcee revved her engine, causing Jack to wake up. He opens the garage door, a little ticked off that she was making a lot of noise.
Jack: Shh! Are you crazy? You'll wake up my mom.
Arcee: Grab your helmet. It's go time.
Jack: It's Saturday!
Arcee: You can watch cartoons back at base with bumblebee.
He then scoffs, reminding her that he's sixteen.
Jack: Cartoons, I'm sixteen.
He then closed the door to the garage.
Arcee: And leave a note for your mom! She worries!
High in Earth's atmosphere, the Decepticon warship was flying through thick, banks of clouds. It was late evening and the colour of the clouds was turning to a dusty pink whilst the sky became darker. Inside the ship, Megatron and Starscream were situated in a big room with a pillar in the center with some sort of force field surrounding it.
Resting on the pillar was a humongous chunk of Dark Energon sprouting out of some sort of rock at the bottom. The amethyst light lite up the room whilst the hazy mist billowing off the crystals was sucked into multiple vents above the platform.
The silver warlord strolled around the pillar, gazing up the Dark Energon crystals. He had been examining the dark substance without pause ever since he had it transported aboard his vessel.
Meanwhile, Starscream kept his distance down the pathway as he debriefed his master on the events that occurred at the Energon mine.
Starscream: I do not think you have to worry about further Autobot interference, Lord Megatron. Not with Prime's spark extinguished.
Megatron: And what evidence do you possess of this fact?
Starscream: I destroyed the mine. As you instructed.
Megatron: Optimus is not easily destroyed. We have millennia worth of battles behind us to prove it.
He returned his gaze upon the Dark Energon.
Starscream: Perhaps you should take a break, Lord Megatron. I fear too much contact with the Dark Energon could…adversely affect you."
Megatron: Or perhaps Starscream… I have simply not allowed myself to have enough.
He plucked off a shard from the formation of Dark Energon crystals.
Starscream: Wait! Lord Megatron, no! Not your spark chamber, you do not know what it will do!
However, the seeker's screams went ignored as Megatron stabbed the purple shard deep into his chest. Suddenly, a loud growl emanated from the depths of Megatron's throat. Bright purple light began to illuminate from the seams and joints of Megatron's body. As seconds passed, the warrior's structure started to shake rapidly.
Starscream looked on in horror as he took a few cautious steps back from the scene.
Without warning, another louder growl exited out from his mouth as his once red optics turned a bright purple.
Back at the Autobot base, the command center was empty with the exception of Ratchet. It was early morning and everything was quiet as the rest of Team Prime and the latest human additions, along with Sonic and Tails, were outside doing whatever they were doing. Ratchet had decided to take this time of peace and quiet to his advantage and study the purple substance he scraped off Arcee the day before.
Ratchet looked through a microscope, examining the purple goo he removed from Arcee's wrist. He looked up from the device and stared at the monitor that showed an enhanced image of the purple substance.
Ratchet: Hmm, the base elements of this goo are unlike anything I've ever encountered. It must've been extremely concentrated to have affected Arcee so rapidly.
Using a set of Cybertronian size tongs, the cranky medic then removed the glass slide from underneath the microscope. On the slide was a single droplet of the same amethyst goo.
Ratchet: However, results are slow coming without the proper tools, thank you very much, Bulkhead.
While he was complaining, he proceeded to another part of his laboratory.
Just as Ratchet stepped away from his workbench, out of his knowledge, a small droplet of purple fell to the floor. The drop of goo landed on the same robotic, grappler device that Bulkhead had previously crushed.
Unexpectedly, the purple substance seeped into the mechanical arm through the seams. After a few seconds, the grappler hooks began to flinch as purple light shone out from the device's seams and through a hole in the palm of the mechanical hand.
Suddenly, the grappler tool came to life and began to crawl around on the floor much like a spider. It scurried across the base floor, searching for its first victim.
