Later at Night
Two shadowy figures were watching at night sky. While the woman was enjoying the sight, the other was getting annoyed by just watching.
"This is a waste of time." The shadow figure said, a little ticked off that they're spending time just looking at the stars.
"Oh, it's not that bad sweetie." The other one assured him. "Besides, at least we got what we were after." She was holding one of the emeralds.
"Yeah..."
That was when an unknown man was walking behind them. "Very impressive work preformed out there..."
"Who are you?"
"Who am I is non of your concern... For now, at least." The man replied. "I want to make a deal with the two of you."
The woman giggled, but her partner just grunt out of annoyance.
"I don't waste my time with salespeople. Get to the point."
"The two are in a need of assistance. I'll help you two, if you help me."
"Sorry, sweetie, but we can handle ourselves." The woman said.
"And I prefer to work alone." He said. "Rouge is an exception."
"I see..." The man nodded in seemingly understanding. "So, I'm guessing that you two don't want the Chaos Emeralds or get revenge on the blue hedgehog?"
Rouge and the shadowy figure looked back at the man, who had a green, customized MECH outfit on. He then had a smirk on his face.
A few hours ago
Things were pretty crazy, but it was worth it yesterday. After MECH retreated, Sonic and Tails introduced the Autobots to their friends, Knuckles and Amy. The human kids also got the chance to meet the two for real, as Miko already stated how she knew most of them due to her playing actual video games of 'Sonic the Hedgehog'.
When Agent Fowler found out, getting ticked off was in understatement. However, he did learned from them that they can be a huge help of taking down the Decepticons and, if he ever shows up, Doctor Eggman. So, eventually, he calmed down... For now, anyway.
Bulkhead and Miko got along great with Knuckles. Cliff also took his time to hang out with ole' knucklehead. Bumblebee got along with everyone, due to his kind nature. Arcee was a little annoyed with the pink hedgehog, now understanding how the blue hedgehog felt, but Amy was a good person though. Ratchet, on the other hand, despite that he was impressed with their powers, skills, and abilities, he was once again annoyed and angry that Knuckles and Amy accidentally crushed his tools.
But, bottom line, with new additional help, they might have a chance to end the Cybertronian war once and for all. Anyway, right now, Bulkhead was picking up Miko from School while Team Heroes were at Tails' new lab that he build which was next to the battleground where Cliffjumper and the deceased Prowl battled the Decepticons.
"So, Knuckles, how did you and Amy found us?" Sonic asked in confusion.
"Well, it started like this..."
Knuckles' Flashback
In underground, Knuckles and Amy Rose were walking through a tunnel, talking to find a way out.
Knuckles: This is all Shadow and Rouge's fault!
Amy: Hey, you can't blame those two. Eggman was the one that sent us here, just like he did before when he got us to Chris' world!
Knuckles: Even if Eggman is the one to blame, Shadow and Rouge was with him. Now we need to find Sally and Cream.
Amy: And Sonic and Tails!
Knuckles: Yeah... Them too.
However, while they were walking, they saw a blue light coming towards them get amazing speed.
Knuckles: Amy! Get behind me!
The pink hedgehog actually ran away so that Knuckles can take it on by himself. Luckily, Knucklehead took it down by just one punch. However, after that one punch, most of the master emerald shards came right out of it!
Knuckles: What the?!
The blue object then flew away, with Knuckles getting the master emerald pieces and looking around for Amy.
It took a few days for Knuckles to look for the pink hedgehog, until he found, not only Amy, but Sonic and Tails as well. Much to his confusion was that they were at a speeding train with a teenager.
End of Knuckles' Flashback
"You found the pieces of the Master Emerald?!" Tails shockingly asked.
"Well, most of them. I figured that you and Sonic had one of the Chaos Emeralds, which was how I was able to find you guys."
"Sorry, Knux, but neither of us has them."
"That's because I do." Amy stated, pulling out the silver gemstone. This surprised the boys greatly.
"How did you found it so fast?!" Tails asked, once again shocked.
"After I got separated with Knuckles, I was running too fast that I tripped over something. That was when I found the emerald."
Amy Rose's Flashback
Amy was running away from whatever that was until she tripped over a what she believed was a rock.
Amy: "Ow!"
She then got up, looked behind her and saw the silver gemstone.
"The Chaos Emerald."
After finding the Chaos emerald, she used it to find Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles. Luckily, she did, but to her confusion, she found strange men that was trying to kill in innocent teenager, along with Tails and Sonic. At least she saved them with her hammer.
End of Amy Rose's Flashback
"Great work, Amy." Sonic said, giving her a thumbs-up.
"Thanks, Sonic."
"So, what's the plan?" Knuckles asked.
"I think our best bet is to search for them. They might be at the city." the blue hedgehog suggested.
"I'll scan for them." Tails said, getting on his computer and started typing. It then began scanning for any chaos energy.
Decepticon Warship
The leader of the Decepticons wasn't happy at all. The troops were once again defeated by Optimus and his autobot, human, and mobian allies. However, goods things come for those who wait.
"It's about time you and Lugnut showed up, Knockout," Starscream said, "I do not enjoy being kept waiting."
"It was a long drive, Starscream," the Decepticon said with a European sounding accent after sighing "I'm still picking bugs out of my grille."
"Yes, right," the air commander said, "you're one of those."
"Come again?" Knockout asked him.
"Never understood why any self-respecting Decepticon would choose automobile as his vehicle mode when he can have flight."
"I like the way I look in steel-belted radials," he explained.
They then turned around, seeing another decepticon approaching them. "Ah, speaking of self-respecting, welcome back, Lugnut." Starscream said with a smile. "The warship and the crew wasn't the same without you."
"Thank you, Commander Starscream." The greenish-purple brute said to his 'master'. "I'm surprised that you were able to keep the 'Cons in check for Lord Megatron."
"Y-Yes, I have." Starscream said. "So, how was your flight?"
"It was... Nice." He admitted. "Although, it would be nice if the birds can get out of the way for a change."
"You and me both."
They walked through the corridors, walking towards the sick bay, "I take it Lord Megatron requires a laboratory assist?" Knockout asked.
"So, that we can fix any of our wounded or fallen warriors?" Lugnut added.
"You two... might say that," Starscream said before opening the door to the Sick bay.
Whoa," Knockout said as he saw the warlord, hooked up to spark-support. Even Lugnut was shocked. He couldn't believe that his hero and master was like this. That's not justice at all!
"What happen to him?" Lugnut asked in concern for his seemingly fallen idol.
"Sadly, our inevitably former Lord Megatron has been like this for some time. "But the crew took a vote, and it was decided that an expert might put him on the road to recovery." Starscream said.
"I've done plenty of body work, Starscream, but I'm better at breaking them than fixing them." Knockout said as he transformed his arm into a drill that looked like a Durabyllium Drill for a second before deactivating the drill which went back inside his arm. "It would help if I had my assistant."
"I summoned the three of you." Starscream said, "Where is he?"
We were hot on a fresh Energon trail when you called." Knockout explained.
"Breakdown will show when he's through scouting it." Lugnut added.
Tails' Lab
"How's the scanning going along, Tails?"
"It's still loading, Sonic." Tails said, still looking at the computer.
"H-Hey, Sonic."
"Oh, hi Amy!" Sonic said to his pink friend. "You know, I haven't seen you this mature before."
"L-let's just say that I'm learning from my mistakes."
Before they could get close to each other, they heard a few beeps from Tails' computer.
"Sonic, Amy, Tails got something!" They checked out the supercomputer and found out that the yellow chaos emerald was at the museum.
"Looks like we have to pay the Autobots a visit."
Autobot Base
Team Heroes arrived, telling the 'Bots that they found another Chaos Emerald. However, that wasn't the only thing they found. Bulkhead and Miko told them that his arch-rival, Breakdown, showed up and showed the team a picture of a golden orb. Optimus knew what it was. The picture was displayed on the Cybertronian computer System, "It is indeed an Energon Harvester," Optimus said, pointing at the orb on the monitor before turning to the four mobians and three humans, "A powerful tool created by the ancients to remove raw energon from any source."
"Greek gods knew Autobots? Raf asked.
"And the Decepticons? Tails asked that question.
"No," Optimus answered, "the ancients often used the art of a given era to conceal messages. This fresco was likely a signpost indicating a harvester's location hidden somewhere on this planet."
"Uh, Optimus, if the harvester removes energon from anything, and you all have energon pumping inside you…" Jack started.
"In Decepticon hands," Optimus said, knowing what Jack was getting at, "the harvester would be a devastating weapon."
"At least in the bright side, they won't know about it now, since Breakdown threw Bulk at the painting." Amy said, before giving Bulkhead a apologetic look. "No offense, Bulk."
"Nah, it's fine, Amy." Bulkhead assured her.
Miko turned to Bulkhead, "See? You were a genius to total that painting."
"Miko's not wrong." Arcee said. How can the 'Cons find the harvester without the fresco?"
"With high speed internet," Raf answered typing on a laptop, "if you do an image search for 'Greek God' and 'Golden Orb,' this pops up," he shows them the image on the computer of a of white stone statue of a Greek God holding a golden orb in his hand, "it's in a museum."
"The same museum where the chaos emerald is." Sonic added.
"That's the real deal?" Arcee asked.
"Looks like it." Cliffjumper stated. "Looks like a got a chaos emerald and a harvester to get from the museum."
"What's the plan, Prime?" Sonic asked, looking at the Autobot Leader.
"Contact Agent Fowler." Optimus requested.
Time Skip
Ratchet pulled up Fowler's contact information on the monitor that was in the middle and made a call but Fowler wasn't picking up and soon it went to his voicemail, "You've reached Special Agent William Fowler. I'm currently on an intensive training retreat and unavailable until Tuesday."
"I hate talking to machines." Ratchet said.
The four mobians gave the medic a questioned look. However, the questioned looks faded away when Optimus got their attention.
"Without Agent Fowler's direct aid, we will have to Confiscate the Harvester and the Chaos Emerald on our own." Optimus informed them.
"Woah, woah, woah," Jack said. "'Confiscate'?! As in steal museum property?"
"That sounds... illegal," Raf added.
"Because it is illegal, kid." The red knucklehead told him. He then looked at the Autobots. "Also, are you sure breaking into a museum is a good idea?"
"Yeah, that's something Rouge would've done." Tails added.
"So would the Babylon Rogues and Team Hooligan." Amy stated as well. "Not to mention that green snot and that traitor..." She growled mentioned them.
"Can't we just wait for Fowler?" I don't want the police on my tail again for something I didn't even do... Or something I'm actually doing for a good reason." Sonic said.
"I do not wish to break human law, but once the Decepticons learn of the Harvester's location and learn about your Chaos Emerald's existence, they will not hesitate to obtain them by any means necessary." Optimus explained. "We must act covertly."
Jack chuckles nervously. "Okay, n-no offense, Optimus, but covertly, talking animals and giant robots don't really go together. Museums are public. A-And they have guards and security cameras."
"No Problem!" Miko said, rushing towards Jack. "We're small enough to sneak in. And we are not a government secret." She then looked at Sonic and his team. "And they can be on the roof of the museum, being both back-up for Team Prime and us."
"Sounds like a solid plan." Knuckles said, liking the idea."
"For once, I agree with Knuckles and Miko on this one." Sonic stated.
"Same here." Tails and Amy added at the same time.
"Um, I don't think that's wise, though." Bulkhead said.
"But it may be our best option, Bulkhead." Optimus told the wrecker. "The longer we debate, the more time we give the Decepticons."
Outside of the Museum
The autobots drive up towards the museum where the Energon Harvester and the Chaos Emerald was being stored at in their alternate modes, each Autobot took different locations to stop at.
"Autobots, Team Sonic, Confirm position." Optimus said.
"Arcee and I got West side." Cliffjumper said from the west side of the museum before they deactivated their engines.
Bumblebee buzzed from the east side of the museum before deactivating his engine .
"South side covered." Bulkhead said from the back of the museum and switched his engine off.
"We got the roof, Optimus." Tails said, while Sonic, Knuckles, and Amy were getting off of Tails' plane that transformed into his battle mech.
"Maintain your guard." Optimus said before turning his engine off. He then contacted the base.
Autobot Base
"Jack, Miko, Rafael, I will have a clear view of you. Once you secure the Harvester and retrive the Chaos Emerald, I will contact Ratchet to bridge you back to base."
Ratchet activated the Ground Bridge, "Now since you'll bypass all points of normal entry, you won't need to worry about setting off the alarm but take care to avoid any security guards." The medic said.
Tails then contacted the base. "Also, when you guys get the emerald, don't hold it for too long."
"Why? What happens?" Jack asked.
"If any human holds the chaos emerald for too long or absorbs too much chaos energy, they'll get chaos poisoning." Knuckles stated.
The humans gulped, hearing this. "How do you guys know?" Raf asked.
"Let's just say that Chris almost ended up sick because of it." Sonic said.
"Once you guys get the emerald, put it in the silver bag that I gave you." Tails said.
The human kids understood before Ratchet sent them through the Ground-Bridge.
Inside of the museum
The humans went through the portal with Jack operating the motorized scissor lift and stopped when they entered the museum's front room, which held a tyrannosaurus Rex, a moai, the heads of Easter Island and next to the statue there was the statue with the orb.
"Opa!" Miko said, and they saw Optimus blinked his headlights, giving them the go.
Jack raises the motorized scissor lift, which stopped when they were side by side with the security camera.
Miko took her phone out and angled it upside down to get a perfect picture of the statue holding the Harvester. She goes to where the photos of the statue holding the Harvester and places it over the top of camera positioning it to show the Harvester was there so they could confiscate it so a security guard looking at the security cameras in the museum's surveillance could see that it was still there.
Miko gave Jack and Raf two thumbs up and jack moved the motorized scissor lift towards the Harvester.
Time Skip
"This is taking forever..." Sonic complained, tapping his foot repeatedly.
"At least, we're not in the museum." Knuckles said.
"And that's a bad thing!" Amy shouted at them. "Those kids are risking their lives and reputations for us and the 'Bots! They could get in trouble with their parents, get arrested by the cops, which will lead to them getting in trouble with their parents, or worse, they could get killed!"
"Amy, calm down!" Tails said to her. "I'm sure that Optimus and the Autobots won't let that happen."
However, that was when they saw one car coming next to Optimus. They first thought it was just someone admiring the treasures outside of the place, until they saw a missile coming from the other car that was here. Luckily, Optimus caught it before it could explode. However, the Autobot leader was shocked by Knockout.
"It's the Cons!" Knuckles said with anger. "And they got Optimus!"
"We need to get down there and help them!" Amy suggested.
However, before they even could, they saw a greenish-purple Bomber Plane flying straight at them!
"Get down!" Sonic yelled.
Everyone ducked down, avoiding the wings and blades of the Bomber Plane. That was when the plane went back towards them. It then transformed into a full tall-sized robot.
"Well, well, well..." Lugunt said, impressed and surprised of what he was seeing. "Commander Starscream said something about aliens on this planet and being on the Autobots' side. Turns out, he wasn't lying."
The four mobians were staring at the decepticon, while they were on their battle/fighting positions.
"And you are?" Sonic asked.
"Lugnut." The decepticon answered. "And the four of you aren't going to live to know more about me."
"We'll see about that."
Team Sonic then engage into battle with the large decepticon.
Inside of the museum
Due to the battle between 'Bots and 'Cons, not to mention when Lugnut transformed on top of the museum, it caused the alarm to sound. Luckily, the kids already got the harvester.
"Time to make our exit, boys!" Miko said.
"Just let me get the emerald." Raf advised. He was so close of grabbing it, but something, or rather, someone grabbed it quickly before he did. "Huh?!"
The black figure gave the three kids a strong glare before going through the glass, breaking the entrance in the process!
Jack didn't like how this was going. "We need to get out of here, now!"
Outside of the museum
Team Sonic were still fighting Lugnut until they saw a black figure escaping with something shiny.
"That thief stole the emerald!" Knuckles said after he punched Lugnut's face. The 'con was confused.
"Emerald? What emerald?" Lugnut asked before getting hit by Amy's hammer.
Sonic was then getting ready to run after the thief. "You guys stay and deal with the 'Cons! I'll go after the thief and get the emerald!" Sonic then left at top high speed!
However, after Sonic left, the battle was already over as Soundwave got the Harvester from Jack and Raf. The silent spymaster then transformed and left the area.
Optimus stood up as he fully regains conscious and sees Soundwave flying away with the Harvester, Knockout notices as well, "Mm," he said, "That would be game." He transformed, made a U-turn and drove away, Breakdown was evading blaster fire and repeated what his partner did.
Lugnut then laughed and transformed and flew off the roof.
Arcee went to chase after them when they heard Jack's voice. "The cons have the Harvester."
The three members of Team Sonic jumped off the roof and ran towards the 'Bots. "Some thief has the Chaos Emerald." Knuckles said.
"And Security has Miko!" Raf added as they ran toward the autobots.
"What?!" Bulkhead said. "I'm going in after her."
Optimus stopped the wrecker. "Bulkhead, Miko may be detained, but she is safe from harm."
Inside of the Museum
Despite that Miko was safe physically, she wasn't safe legally. Since she was caught by the guard, she had to think of something quick before she gets in trouble with her parents, both real ones and host ones or end up in prison.
"Look, kid, if this is some prank, you need to know that the authorities are on their way. It'll go a whole lot easier for you if you told me what happened to the sphere and the diamond."
"I was researching my history report. I just lost track of time and got locked in here after closing." Miko answered to him.
"So, what's your history report about? I'd love to know." he asked.
"Uh…" Miko said not knowing how to answer that question.
The abandoned city
The blue hedgehog was following the thief, who was actually and surprisingly fast. However, he wasn't as fast as 'The Fastest Thing Alive.'
After a few hours of running and a few twists and turns, the two of them were at an abandoned city.
"Going somewhere?" Sonic asked, stopping the thief. Speaking of the thief, due to being 'cornered', he turned around, revealing himself as Sonic's arch-rival and black lookalike... Shadow the Hedgehog!
"Shadow?"
Shadow didn't even say anything as he knew that Sonic was clueless as ever.
"Is that a chaos emerald?" The Blue Hedgehog asked. Again, Shadow didn't answer. However, Sonic smiled. "This really takes me back, y'know? The first time we met was when you pulled a robbery and stole a Chaos Emerald too! I guess old habits die hard... Right, Shadow?"
The Black Hedgehog only gave his blue rival a glare as Sonic continued talking.
"Hey, at least the cops ain't on my tail for it, this time. I still don't know how they managed to mistake you for me." He added, then asked a question. "So,you wanna tell me what's up?"
"Just stay out of my way. This doesn't involve you!" The black hedgehog said.
"Oh, I dunno buddy. I'm feeling pretty involved!" The blue hedgehog stated. "In case you haven't noticed, this is a different world. You can't just run around messing stuff up!"
"Like you do?"
"What do you mean by that?" Sonic asked before continuing to try to reason with Shadow. "Eggman might be in this world and his goons might be after the emeralds! Heck, even though 'Chrome Drone' is deactivated, thanks to the Eggster, he could still get reactivate himself and go after the emeralds too! There is also huge robots on this world fighting each other!" Sonic added. "We're both on the same side here. So, why don't we just team up and..."
However, before Sonic could finished, he saw a 'Chaos Spear' coming his way! He used his speed to get out of the way, seeing the spear hit an empty tall building.
"Shadow! Have you lost your mind?!"
But Shadow didn't even care since they were at an empty city and because Sonic was getting on his last nerve. He then charges up another 'Chaos Spear'. "Keep on walking the path you are walking right now and you will become an enemy. You will become my enemy." He stated. "I might not be able to outrun you, but I can outfight you."
He then sent another at the blue hedgehog.
"Chaos... Spear!"
Autobot Base
"In all likelihood, Starscream will use the Harvester to gather as much energon as quickly as he can from the planet's otherwise unmineable energon deposits. Approach with extreme caution. Starscream will not hesitate to turn the Harvester on any one of us." Optimus told them before sending Bumblebee, Arcee and Cliffjumper to three separate locations. He reactivated the bridge for himself and turned to Bulkhead. "Bulkhead, it is best that you remain here."
"So Team Sonic and I can bust Miko out of the museum?" He asked the Prime.
"So you and Team Sonic can help Ratchet." Optimus answered, "You may be Miko's guardian, but she requires human assistance. Agent Fowler remains our best option." The Prime transformed and drove through the Ground Bridge.
Raf tried contacting the Special agent but he kept getting his voicemail, "You've reached Special Agent William Fowler. I'm currently on an intensive training retreat and unavailable until Tuesday."
"Still no answer," Raf told Bulkhead.
"Fowler's lounging around some poolside cabana." Bulkhead said and he smashed one of Ratchet's tools with a fit of rage.
"Bulkhead! I needed that!" Ratchet yelled at Bulkhead, holding an almost complete replica of the Harvester that he was working on.
"We can free Miko if we can just return that harvester to the museum," Bulkhead told him.
"So the Decepticons can steal it all over again?" Ratchet shot back at him.
"I am so dumb!" Bulkhead said, gripping his head.
"It's not your fault, Bulk. "Knuckles assured him.
"Yeah, besides you're not the only person who made dumb mistakes." Amy said, pointing at ole' knucklehead.
"HEY!" The red echidna yelled at her. Luckily, Tails got the both of them to be quiet and went back to working on a fake chaos emerald.
"So how are we going to help Miko?" Jack asked.
"By making these replicas and returning them back to the museum." Tails explained, just finished with the fake chaos emerald under 25 seconds.
The construction of the Harvester replica would be going a whole lot faster if Bulkhead hadn't just mangled my frame welder!" Ratchet angrily said.
"We're already trespassers and thieves." Jack said, Why not add forgery to the list?"
"At least it's for a good reason." Knuckles informed him. "Also, it's not like your parents are going to find out about it."
"That's what I'm thinking about." the 16 year old teen said.
Bulkhead groans, "I wish I never taken Miko to the-" he suddenly realizes something, "The painting of the Harvester isn't the only thing we found in those ruins."
"I'm sorry?" Ratchet asked him, with confusion.
"What are you talking about?" Amy asked as well.
"Starscream's not dumb." Bulkhead told them. "No matter what kind of tool he has, he's gonna take the easy route."
"Then let's go!" Knuckles stated, pumping himself up.
"Nah, I got this." Bulk assured him.
Once the medic turned on the Ground-Bridge, Bulk went through. Tails, Knuckles and Amy were about to go through as well, until they got a distress call from Sonic.
"Uh oh!" Tails stated. "Sonic needs our help!"
The abandoned city
The blue hedgehog quickly jumped away from the incoming Chaos Spear. He then charged at Shadow, who simply got ready to fight. Sonic tried to punch Shadow three times, but the black hedgehog blocked them and counter-attack Sonic with a jab hit on the back and kicked the back of his head, sending the blue hedgehog flying.
Luckily, Sonic landed on the ground, ran past Shadow and started running around the black hedgehog in circles. However, unknown to the fastest thing alive, Shadow knew what Sonic was about to do and attacked him once again, followed by serval combos. He then kicked Sonic into the air, teleported next to the blue hedgehog and kicked him towards a building.
However, Sonic landed on the building and started doing his spindash. He went past Shadow, due to the black hedgehog dodging his attack. Sonic did it again, but this time, when Shadow blocked the attack, the blue hedgehog started charging up, breaking the black hedgehog's defense. He then started attacking Shadow from different directions, finishing his combo move with a Sonic Kick, which sent Shadow to a building.
"Playtime is over... Time to step it up." Shadow charged his chaos energy and teleported out of the old building.
He then appeared behind Sonic. The two hedgehogs gave each other a glare, before Shadow teleported away. The black hedgehog then kicked Sonic's face and teleported away when the blue hedgehog tried to hit him back. Shadow attacked him again, sending Sonic into a wall. The blue hedgehog was very ticked at the moment and jumped onto his feet.
Sonic then started charged up his spin-dash/light speed. Shadow did the same as the blue hedgehog. After the two charged up, Sonic was pure light blue, while Shadow was pure light yellow. The two then charged at each other, using their light speed attacks at each other.
The two were equally matched, hitting each other with their light speed spindash attacks. However, the blue hedgehog's speed didn't match the black hedgehog's strength.
Shadow then broke Sonic's moves with a counterattack and kicked him into the air. The black hedgehog then teleported at the air and sent a strong downward hit on Sonic, sending the blue hedgehog into the ground.
After the impact, the blue hedgehog couldn't even move... All he could do is look around and saw Shadow, who was staring at him with disappointment and disgust.
"Worthless... Don't show your pathetic face around me ever again, Sonic." The Ultimate Lifeform said before teleporting out of the area.
The blue hedgehog's eyes then laid down, unable to move. That was when a green portal appeared with Tails, Amy, and Knuckles coming out of the Ground-Bridge. The trio found the unconscious hedgehog, with the pink hedgehog picking him up out of concern.
Top of the Autobot Base
It took awhile for Sonic to recover. While he was recovering, Bulkhead destroyed the Energon Harvester, after getting a beating. The Autobots, along with Agent Fowler, got Miko out of the museum office. After the blue hedgehog did recovered from his defeat, he told them that Shadow was the one that 'stole' the chaos emerald and beated the crap out of him.
Right now, everyone was sleeping/recharging except for Sonic. The blue hedgehog had his eyes closed as he was thinking of what Shadow told him.
Flashback
"You can't just run around messing stuff up!"
"Like you do?"
End of Flashback
The blue hedgehog opened his eyes, still thinking. "What did Shadow mean by that? Did I do something that made him hate me?" He continued thinking about the black hedgehog's words. "I don't get why he's acting like that... Is he... Is he going to become my enemy?"
The Present
"I know great things about you two. With me and my friends, we'll be unstoppable."
"Sorry dear, but we can handle ourselves." Rouge said. "He's the Ultimate Lifeform, and I'm a spy agent." She added, while pointing at Shadow.
The man then smiled, handing her a M.E.C.H. card. "Think about it." The man then started walking into his helicopter. Before he could walk inside it, Shadow got his attention.
"Who are you?"
The man smirked. "You'll find out soon enough." The man then got inside of the helicopter. The vehicle also flew away.
"Hmmm, what do you think, Shadow?" The bat asked, looking at the M.E.C.H card.
"If he's able to get the both of us home, I'll consider it."
The duo then left the hill, heading towards the road.
I hope everyone enjoyed this special chapter! I wanted to make this very long, which was the reason why I was busy with my other stories. However, I hope the wait was worth it.
