Trouble Magnet Turned Baba Yaga

Chapter 7: The New Dynamic Duo

Rumi made her way to Yaoyorozu's estate to meet with the legend himself Baba Yaga. Even though she knew very little about the man besides what he had done and his strange ability to somehow find trouble, She could not help the bit of excitement that bubbled in her chest. Entering the property she noticed the insane amount of security that Yaoyorozu's had employed. It was kind of ridiculous to see up close that every guard was armed to the teeth in tactical gear and she could spot APC's driving around on patrol on the property. The guy who gave her this Mission must not have been kidding about the fact that he attracted trouble. Since in the first minute that she had stepped on the property she could already tell that there was some people trying to break in. It seemed like the security on hand had it handled so she did not interfere and instead followed her escort who was leading her to Baba Yaga himself.

Entering what appeared to be a shooting range, she spotted the same green-haired man she had seen the other night, as well as a tall, beautiful woman with black hair. The green-haired man appeared to be teaching her how to use a firearm as she went through the drills that he had prepared. The guy was meticulous in his instructions and held an air of not just experience but a Strong presence that held strength. Spotting her out of the corner of his eye he passed the instructions off to another man who appeared to be a guard as he walked over and approached her. As he did she was able to get a really good look at him Allowing her to analyze his features. He was wearing a black business suit with a green undervest. Even from here, she could tell that the man was armed with his sidearm concealed by the jacket. Even how he walked was not just calculated but held an air of experience that only years of combat could bring. She was brought out of her thoughts as the man finally approached her and spoke up.

"Ahh, you must be Miss Usagiyama the Pro Hero Miruko. I am Izuku Midoriya also known as Baba Yaga. It is a pleasure to meet you." Izuku said as he introduced himself. Causing Rumi to Blink stupidly at him for a second before a vicious grin graced her face.

Yeah, she wasn't expecting that this guy was Baba Yaga but the fact that he took out half the Russian mob by himself while protecting an innocent made it much more believable for her. Plus this Izuku was definitely somebody who was her type.

"Please drop the Miss and when we're off the clock call me Rumi I'm not much for formalities. Anyway, I did not mean to interrupt your lesson. If you want to go back to teaching your girlfriend how to shoot I can head inside and get some grub while I wait." Rumi said knowing that was the Yaoyorozu eris since she looked like a carbon copy of her mother. She did not know What form of relationship he had with the eris but seeing how close they were only a moment ago she was hoping it wasn't anything romantic. Izuku just chuckled at that comment and his next words were able to sway any doubts.

"No, she's not my girlfriend if anything she's more like a sister, and even if I was interested in her she bats for the other team." Izuku said chuckling a bit causing Rumi to let out a mental sigh of relief before he continued.

"Anyway her bodyguard could pick up where I left off and we have things that we need to get done today. But first, we need to get you situated, so follow me." Izuku says before walking off with Rumi following close behind.

Entering a building that looked to be some type of storage area he went over one of the boxes and opened it revealing what appeared to be two pens. Taking one of them out he swiftly jabbed one of the pens into her leg causing her to Yelp in surprise and to step back. Looking at him in a mixture of confusion and anger she spoke up.

"What the fuck was that?" She asked confusion and anger evident on her face and tone of voice.

"That was a subdural tracking device I injected into you And before you say anything let me explain. I have lost way too many teammates due to us being separated this is only a safety measure. So if one of us does get separated we can find each other easily." Izuku says as he uses the other injector and injects himself with it. This seemed to turn Rumi's anger into a slight annoyance.

She did not like being tagged like some type of wild animal. But seeing him tag himself as well meant that he wasn't doing it because he thought she was weak. But Because he thought this was a needed safety measure. Which, by his tone of voice meant he Truly had firsthand experience and that this was a real concern. This caused her anger and annoyance to almost vanish completely and Seeing that he continued.

"Now I'm going to send you an app, download it onto your phone. At all times it should send you my location. If it somehow loses my signal it will immediately alert you and send you my last location. It would also alert you when my signal is picked up again. The app has password protection, a fingerprint scanner, and a Retinal scanner. This is all to keep that app secure, Just in case somebody steals your phone they wouldn't be able to locate us using it." Izuku says as he pulls out his phone and sends her the app. With a ping from her phone, Rumi went through the steps of installing it. Once she was done Izuku moved on to the next topic.

"Now from your file, I read that you used a sawed-off double Barrel shotgun in your vigilante career. And that you usually use a Kevlar-lined jacket to hold it." Izuku says as he pulls out another box with a leather jacket and some other clothes. He then pulled out a pair of sawed-off double Barrel shotguns as well as an assortment of different types of ammunition for it.

Seeing this Rumi's eyes widened in shock. She knew that this guy did his research all right. All the clothes were her size and the two guns were just how she liked them. Well, that's if she had a chance to get a proper double-barrel shotgun. The one she had in her vigilante days was an old rusty piece of crap she found in some junkyard. The jacket had internal holsters for the two shotguns as well as bullet and stab-resisting lining. Probably the same stuff that his suit is made out of. It wasn't just the jacket too her shirt was a lot thicker and had the capability of easily concealing The plate carrier that she was given underneath it without revealing that she had one. She can also tell it was made of the same materials that her hero outfit was made out of. Which could stop low-caliber rounds pretty easily. Looking back at him questions formed in her head and since she was not the one to dance around such topics she decided to voice them.

"Why am I going in my old vigilante garb? And why would I need the extra Firepower?" Rumi asked curiously. She did not mind having a little extra Firepower with her, and it would be fun to use her favorite types of boomsticks again. But this was pretty weird. But Izuku just blinked weirdly at her question before he realized something, causing him to do a facepalm, And after letting out a long sigh of annoyance he spoke up.

"I guess you weren't informed, figures. *Sigh,* okay, let me give you the rundown real quick. But first, were you informed of my little meeting that I had with the HPSC?" Izuku asked and When she shook her head in confusion he started to explain. So He told her everything that happened yesterday and to say that she was shocked was an understatement.

"So you're telling me that you fucking declared war on the HPSC because they would not release Lady Nagant. And you're going to make them release them by hanging around key locations and using your capability of attracting trouble to cause a little havoc." Rumi asked amazed

"And that's why you're going to be wearing that. There's going to be fewer people wanting to fuck with us if you're in your hero outfit. And I'd rather you be armed just in case shit really hits the fan." Izuku said which turned her shock of amazement into a devilish smile that he gladly returned.

"Fuck yeah, this is going to be fun!" Rumi Exclaimed happily with a grin that showed her excitement, which Izuku gladly returned. As Izuku watched her put on her gear he could not help but think to himself.

'Yeah, this was definitely going to be fun.'

3 Days Later HPSC Headquarters

The president of the HPSC along with the board of directors were in a meeting discussing only one topic...

" We must stop this blasted Baba Yaga! If we don't we will lose everything!" One of the Board members said after reading one of the hundreds of reports that they have gotten over the past three days.

"And what can we do? We can't arrest him. All the evidence points to him being at the wrong place at the wrong time and because of the presence of Miruko technically taking out all the villains everything is pretty much legal. Everything else has been declared as self-defense thanks to a detective with a lie detector Quirk, who determined it was such. We have no legal way to pin this on him and even if we did the Yaoyorozu's would simply get it dismissed." Another board member said grumbling at their predicament.

"Then why don't we just kill the bitch? He made it very clear He wanted her released. So we kill her and we send a message." One of the board members said causing the madam president to slam her hands on the table with anger.

"Are you mad! He's currently only playing with kid gloves right now! If We kill her there's nothing stopping him from killing every single one of us and burning down our organization. Do I have to remind you what he did in Russia? The Russian mob ruled that country for over 200 years and had every government organization there under their thumb. The only organization that could truly rival the hpsc. And he tore it down less than a week and killed one of the most dangerous sss class villains, all... by... him...self!" The president said completely Furious about what that idiot had just suggested.

"And do not get me started on that fucking Gun Club and his ties with Stars and Stripes and the madam president of the United States of the fucking America. We kill her he has enough pool to probably start world War 3." The president said still Furious.

"What are we supposed to do then? Release her as he asked. Because if she talks are organization may not burn but we will." One of the board members says frustrated at this whole scenario.

"Of course not. We just need to control the situation." The president says as she calms down.

"And how do we control the situation?" board members ask.

"Simple, we eliminate him. We have several villain organizations Under our Control that have no way to be tracked back to us. We'll simply put a HIT on him and send it to all those organizations then send Heroes into Mustafa to build up better PR for the HPSC and create a better hold on this society. We will even put him on the watch list for all heroes so when they see him they might catch him doing something illegal and we can nail him for it."

"But what if this doesn't work? What then?" One of the board members ask

"Then we'll have no choice but to Ask... HIM."

A Day Later

Izuku was in a warehouse being shot at by 30 armed goons bent on claiming his hide. It was the sixth attempt today... So pretty much an average day for him. His thoughts were interrupted by one of the goons with a Uzi emptying his mag at the dumpster that he was hiding behind with Rumi who had the world's happiest Grin on her face, and he had to admit it was cute.

"Okay, it's only been 4 days and I'm having the most fun in my life. It's official we're going out on a date after this." Rumi declared as she fired one of her double barrel shotguns and blew one of the goon's heads off. Izuku blink Dumbly at her before responding.

"Ahh, Are you... Sure about that? I'm literally cursed and you want to date me?" Izuku asked completely Confused, as he fired a shot out of one of his Glocks And nailed one of the goons in the head, taking him out of the fight.

"Duh, of course, I want to date you. For one you're hot, you can kick ass and take names with the best of us, and you're all-around a decent guy. Plus I never have to go looking for a fight if I stick with you. And do I have to mention that you're fucking Baba Yaga? Seriously I was sold once I figured that out and saw your handiwork firsthand." Rumi said as she blew another goon's head off. Then the rest of the Goons called a retreat after seeing half their forces annihilated.

This gave the two a nice welcome reprieve and allowed Izuku to collect his thoughts. Honestly, he wasn't against the idea. Rumi was totally his type even though she was a bit of a battle Junkie. But doesn't that make it less likely for her to leave him? Shaking his head from those thoughts he decided to go for it and see what happens.

"Okay once we get this settled I'll take you out somewhere special. I know a place that a friend of mine owns and we can even stock up on ammo there." Izuku Said with a smile on his face as he started to call Tsukauchi.

Izuku took it upon himself to stash ammo and Essentials in various locations around the city and Ippan's restaurant, The Ordinary Cafe was one of those places. Ippan did not mind especially when the payoff was the Round Table giving her their protection, And for Izuku to hang around a lot more.

"Sweet, Ammo, and a date. you really know how to treat a woman." Rumi said with a saltree smile and a wink. Causing Izuku to blush a bit.

"If you like guns so much there is a firearms competition later this week. I plan on going since an old friend is running it. If you want to go we could go together." Izuku said as he finished texting Tsukauchi who said that he was on his way.

"Already planning our second date eh." Rumi said with a cheeky grin.

"Not really I think it's going to be our 6th date by the time it comes around. Since I have a feeling me and you are going to be going on dates quite a bit between now and then." Izuku said causing Rumi to laugh. But when she calmed down she got an idea.

"Fuck it why don't we just make every day that we are out on some type of date. And once a week we'll try to go somewhere romantic or some shit." Rumi said with a saltree smile as she wrapped her hands around Izuku who in turn wrapped his hands around her waist.

"Why not it will be fun, although you should know you're pretty much my first girlfriend," Izuku said but before she could respond the sounds of sirens started to approach. Deciding to be professional until this was done, they got off of each other and prepared themselves for another round of questioning from their good friend Tsukauchi.
