Alicia screeched, waving her hands around. "Oh my god, it's happening!"

Cassandra blinked, taken aback by her sudden reaction. "Uhhh."

"My baby finally has a crush on someone! Tell me everything! Is it Aibi, or Tiara, or oh my god, is it that Rodriguez girl?" Alicia gushed, reaching out to grab her daughter's hand. Cassandra widened her eyes. "Oh my, it is her!"

"No!" she yelled. "I mean, no. I don't like Rodriguez, and Tiara and Aibi have been dating for the last three years."

"And you didn't tell me?" Alicia asked.

"I didn't want you to tell dad. They're my friends, well, at least they were," Cassandra explained.

"…Did they do that to your eye?" Alicia asked, moving the eyepatch away from her eye to reveal the bruise once more.

"Aibi did," Cassandra replied.

"Why?"

"I may have kissed Rodriguez today," Cassandra muttered, blocking her ears in anticipation of the scream, which followed promptly.

"Cassandra Teagen Jordan, you had your first kiss today?" Alicia grinned, slapping her shoulder.

"I did," Cassandra said. "It was so awkward, I don't think she expected me to kiss her."

"Oh?"

"She was teasing me, and yeah. I kissed her," Cassandra continued. She smiled.

Alicia smiled too. "I'm happy for you my darling. But back to Aibi, why does she care? And why did she hit you?"

"I don't know, Aibi has always hated Rodriguez. Something happened between them and she refuses to tell me what. But anytime I get close, Aibi goes psycho on me," Cassandra explained, folding her arms.

"Honey, a good friend wouldn't do that…"

"I know, but she's my best friend!" Cassandra urged, hugging herself tighter. "I can't let her go that easily."

"Cassandra…"

Suddenly, the door handle jiggled, and Oscar walked through the door. He threw his keys into the bowl and stopped as she saw the two of them in the living room. "Hello."

"Hi Dad," Cassandra greeted.

"Hi honey, how was work?" Alicia asked, getting up to go back to the kitchen.

"Alright, is dinner nearly ready?" Oscar replied, putting his things down in his room.

"Mhm!" Alicia replied, going back to the onions. "I'm just cutting up the toppings, we're having tacos."

Cassandra smiled, getting up to help her mum finish dinner.

When Alexandra got home, her mum had left another note by the door.

Overnight shift again, dinner's in the fridge, love ya

She sighed, letting Plagg out of her pocket.

"Home alone again?" Plagg asked, flying straight to the kitchen.

"As always," Alexandra replied, following him into the kitchen. She placed her bag by the entrance and opened the fridge. It was a plate of lasagna, covered in red, chunky sauce. She smiled, taking the plate from the fridge and into the microwave. "There's some cheese in the fridge, help yourself."

Plagg flew into the fridge almost instantly. Alexandra chuckled, staring at the food in the microwave while it heated up. Once it was finished, she took the plate to the table and started enjoying it. At this time, Plagg flew out of the fridge and landed right next to her food.

"Any plans to see Coccinelle today?" Plagg asked, watching the food go from the plate to Alexandra's mouth.

"No, I think she's had enough of me for now," Alexandra chuckled. She noticed Plagg's gaze. "Take some."

Plagg divided right in. Alexandra chuckled again, taking the last bite before putting the plate in the sink and walking off to her room.

The next day, Alexandra walked right up to Cassandra.

"Hey, how's your eye?" Alexandra asked, seeing the same eyepatch from yesterday. Cassandra turned to face the girl, looked her up and down, then walked away from her. Alexandra walked as the girl walked away. She sighed.

"Trouble in paradise?" Mason asked, leaning against the locker behind her. She turned around.

"Shut up. Why is she ignoring me?" Alexandra asked, opening her locker.

"Hmm, I don't know, maybe it's cause you two kissed yesterday, and now she's scared of catching feelings she's already caught," Mason explained, grinning. Alexandra took her laptop out of her back, throwing the bag into her locker.

Alexandra rolled her eyes. "Can we talk about like, anything else?"

"Sure. You free after school today?" Mason asked.

"Always, you know that," Alexandra replied, pulling out a book.

"Wanna go to the movies? I heard they made a movie about that video game you like," Mason asked. Alexandra closed her locker.

"Yeah I'm down, what video game is it?" Alexandra accepted, walking towards her classroom.

"The fuck if I know what it's called," Mason answered, following her.

The rest of the day, Cassandra ignored or avoided Alexandra. It wasn't particularly hard, but every time Alexandra would try to start a conversation, Cassandra would stare at her, look her up and down, and then walk off. In the end, she found it assuming. But, much to Cassandra's disappointment, the supervising teacher finally noticed her eye by the third period.

"Cassandra, what happened to your eye?" the teacher asked. Cassandra looked up at the sound of her name.

"Oh, uh-"

"You need to go to the nurse! Alexandra, could you take her?" the teacher asked.

"Of course Ms," Alexandra replied, standing up. Cassandra soon followed, and both girls walked out the door side by side.

They walked to the nurse's office in silence. When they entered, the nurse turned around to greet them.

It wasn't long before the nurse left the two since Alexandra had been holding the warm cloth on Cassandra's eye. She was sitting in front of the girl, who hunched forward, folding her arms and looked away.

"You can't ignore me forever," Alexandra said, placing the cloth down. Cassandra looked back at the girl, looking her up and down, before looking back away. "Jordan, seriously. I didn't do anything wrong."

Cassandra stood up, walking towards the door. Alexandra followed her, slamming the door shut as Cassandra tried to open it. She turned around, stuck between Alexandra and the door.

"Cassandra! Come on, I'm talking to you," Alexandra said.

Meanwhile, Aibi and Tiara sat quietly side by side in class. Tiara leaned into Aibi.

"Have you apologised yet?" Tiara asked.

"No," Aibi replied, putting her arm around Tiara's waist.

"Aibi."

"I haven't seen her yet," Aibi added.

"But you will?"

"I promise."

Tiara smiled, turning to give her a quick kiss on her neck. Aibi, holding back a smile, tuned back into the teacher's teaching.

Alexandra wasn't surprised that she had gotten herself into this situation by now.

She had both hands around Cassandra's waist, holding her close. She gently pressed her lips against Cassandra's. Cassandra had one hand cupping Alexandra's cheek and the other just under her neck. Slowly, their kisses went from gentle to rough, as they went from gentle presses to occasional sucking and biting each other's lips. They'd periodically pull away, regaining their breath. But this time, Cassandra stood still, pulling back from Alexandra's grip.

"Is this gonna continue happening?" Alexandra asked, staring into her eyes.

"I don't know," Cassandra muttered, moving her hands down from her face to her arms. She wrapped her arms around Alexandra, pulling her closer as she nuzzled her face into her shoulder. "Can I ask you something?"

"Yeah, what's up?" Alexandra asked, hugging her tightly.

"Don't you feel annoyed this keeps happening?" Cassandra asked, muffled by the fact she was on Alexandra's shoulder.

"No," Alexandra admitted. "Not right now, at least, but I won't like being used as an experiment for much longer."

"You're not an experiment, Rodriguez," Cassandra answered, lifting her face up to meet Alexandra's.

"Then what am I to you?" Alexandra asked. "Wait, no. Don't answer that, I don't wanna hear you say I don't know."

"Sorry," Cassandra apologised.

"It's fine," Alexandra accepted.

The girls stood in silence for a bit, just looking at each other. Cassandra's mind was afar, going through the events of the past three days. Whereas Alexandra was staring at her, her mind running through every thought at the same time. Her heart fluttered seeing the way Cassandra's face scrunched, or the feeling of her hands against her back. Her heart raced like her mind, and everything in her was screaming "More! More!"

But she pulled away, snapping Cassandra out of her trance. Neither girl said anything as Alexandra returned with the heat pack, applying pressure to her black eye. "I told you we should have gone to the nurse the moment she hit you, it looks terrible now."

"Yeah, I get it Rodriguez. But even a black eye can't ruin this pretty face," Cassandra muttered, grinning towards the end of her sentence. Alexandra raised an eyebrow, shoving the heat pack further.

"I disagree, Jordan," Alexandra responded, lifting Cassandra's hand to the heat pack. She smiled.

"I'm gonna ignore that," Cassandra stated, turning around to open the door. She held it open with her foot, gesturing with her arm for Alexandra to leave. "After you."

Alexandra rolled her eyes. "Whata gentlewoman."

Cassandra chuckled.

The two returned back to suspension, scribbling down as many notes as they could before the end of the day. Suddenly, Alexandra's head purred up. She pulled out her wallet, and quickly searched through it, groaning loudly. Cassandra's attention peaked, and she chuckled quietly watching the girl.

"Do you have twenty bucks I can borrow? I swear I'll pay you back tomorrow," Alexandra asked, looking up at Cassandra. She paused slightly, realising Cassandra was staring right at her and smiling.

"Yeah dude, of course," Cassandra said, turning around to find her purse. She opens it, takes out twenty dollars and hands it to her. "What for?"

Alexandra took it, sliding it into her pocket. "I lost a bet," she said, as she put away her wallet and slowly started to pack up for the end of the day.

Cassandra copies her. "What's the bet?"

"You don't wanna know," Alexandra replied, placing everything in her bag just as the bell rang. She stood up, walking over to her partner. "Wanna walk home together?"

"Yeah sure," Cassandra answered, placing the last of her things in her bag.

As they walked out into the hallway, Cassandra spaced out, knowing Alexandra was rambling about something. They passed Aibi and Tiara, where Aibi was begging Tiara about something and Tiara turned her head, humphing. She then spaced back in as she stopped, hovering behind Alexandra talking to Mason.

"Hey nerd," Alexandra greeted him.

"Hey Alex," he greeted back, closing his locker and turning to face her. His eyes widen slightly as he sees Cassandra looking out of place behind his friend. "So I'm getting picked up today, which means I've gotta cancel our movie plans."

They start to walk off. "That's fine, Jordan's gonna walk with me."

Mason smiles. "Good luck, Jordan," he teased, emphasising her last name. Cassandra's face dropped.

"Don't call me that," Cassandra stated. Mason grinned, looking Cassandra up and down.

"Right, sorry Cassandra," Mason apologised.

"You can call me Cass, or Cassy," Cassandra added. "Just not Jordan."

"Or Teagen," Alexandra added, looking down. She pulled out a twenty dollar note. "Here, by the way."

"What's this for?" Mason asked, taking the money.

"I lost the bet," Alexandra admitted, sighing.

Mason's eyes widen again, now hollowing with the laughter. "Oh my god, already?"

"I shoulda just lied to you," Alexandra muttered, looking away from her best friend.

"Do I get twenty bucks for each one?" Mason asked, pocketing the twenty.

"Hell no, I don't have that much money," Alexandra admitted.

"What are you two going on about?" Cassandra asked.

Mason looked at Cassandra, then back at Alexandra. "Oh, you're cruel. You didn't tell her?"

"No," Alexandra said, starting to walk off. Cassandra followed her, occasionally flinging her bag over her shoulder. She watched the two chat, occasionally seeing Alexandra shout or elbow Mason, to which he just laughed it off. Before they left the school, Mason turned around to face Cassandra.

"So, how was making out with Alexandra? I heard she's a good kisser," Mason asked Cassandra. Cassandra looked at Alexandra, raising an eyebrow.

Alexandra's face turned red, shoving her hands into her pockets. She narrowed her eyes at Mason. "Dude, shut up!"

"She's a really good kisser," Cassandra admitted, looking straight at her. She smiled. Alexandra's eyes trailed back to her gaze, her face relaxing. Mason looked between the two girls, grinning and rolling his eyes. "But uh-, I'm not gay so yeah."

Mason and Alexandra look at each other, then look back at the girl. Alexandra stepped forward, grabbing Cassandra's face and pulling it forward to kiss her nose. Cassandra's breath hitched, and she froze in the spot. Alexandra smirked. "Sure you're not." She tapped her nose, tracing her from her neck to just above her chest. Cassandra watched her finger, swallowing loudly.

"Wow, you're gayer than she is," Mason admitted, laughing. He held out his hand, getting a down-five from Alexandra, then moving his hand up for an up-five. They then fist pump, flattening out their hands and dragging it out as they do it. They then kicked out their leg, hitting their toes against each other. "Laters Alex."

"Bye Mason," she waved.

"Cya Cass," Mason shouted, entering his mum's car.

"Bye!"

Alexandra bent down, waving at his mum. His mum rolled down the window.

"Hi darling, how are you?" Mason's mum asked.

"I'm great, how are you, Mrs Valentine?" Alexandra asked.

"I'm fantastic. Are you walking home?" Mrs Valentine questioned.

"I am."

"Would you like a ride home?" Mrs Valentine asked, turning her car on.

"No, thank you Mrs Valentine, I'm walking home with a friend," Alexandra thanked, pulling Cassandra to her height.

"Hi Mrs Valentine, I'm Cassandra," Cassandra greeted, waving politely.

"Hello Cassandra, nice to meet you," Mrs Valentine waved back. "Well, if you're sure, bye Alex and Cassandra."

"Bye," the girls waved, watching the car pull out.

"So, we are friends?" Cassandra asked.

Alexandra grabbed her hand and started to walk off. "For now."

"The fuck you mean for now?" Cassandra questioned, as she was dragged along.

Alexandra just smiled, interlocking her fingers with Cassandra's. Cassandra couldn't help but smile. They both walked down the street, occasionally bumping into each other.

"Isn't your house the other way?" Alexandra asked.

"It is," Cassandra answered, flinging her bag over her shoulder again. "I'm just gonna go the back way." Alexandra scoffed quietly. "What?"

"Nothing," Alexandra responded.

It wasn't long before they ended up in front of Alexandra's house. Cassandra held out her hand, letting go of Alexandra's.

"Alright, I'm gonna go," Cassandra started. "Bye-"

"Wait," Alexandra said, pulling on her arm before she walked off. She lunged forward, grabbing her face. She pulled her eyepatch off her face, checking the bruises. It was still very purple and blue, but the swelling had died down a bit. "Geez, Jordan, you really shouldn't have argued with her."

"I know," Cassandra admitted, looking up at Alexandra with one eye and squinting the other.

"Well, she's gotten stronger," Alexandra admitted, putting her eyepatch down.

"What do you mean?"

"When we ended our friendship, she punched me. But she could never leave a bruise," Alexandra explained, pulling her keys out of her pocket.

"You guys were friends?" Cassandra asked, narrowing her eyes.

Alexandra chuckled. "Do you even know why she doesn't like me?"

"No, her story is changed every time she talks about it," Cassandra said, watching Alexandra walk to the door. She puts her keys in the door.

"You should ask Tiara about it," Alexandra explained, twisting the keys to unlock the door. "I'd tell you to ask Aibi, but I don't want her to ruin your pretty face again." Alexandra smiled, pushing the door open. "Bye Jordan."

"Bye Rodriguez," Cassandra said, letting out a huge smile. Alexandra shut the door, signalling Cassandra to get moving.

Alexandra stood at the door, looking at it. Her smile spread across her face, while Plagg flew out from her bag to by her side.

"Hey Plagg," Alexandra greeted, still staring at the door.

"Hi Alex," Plagg greeted, floating by her side. He turned to face her. "You know, you and Adrien are so different."

"What do you mean?" Alexandra asked.

"It took him months to kiss his crush, Marinette. It only took you a week to kiss yours," Plagg stated, his smirk widening as he spoke.

Alexandra rolled her eyes, turning away from the door. "She's not my crush."

"Sure," Plagg retorted, sarcastically.

"Anyways, there's Camembert in the fridge, if you're hungry," Alexandra told, and before she could continue, Plagg zoomed by, phasing into the fridge. Alexandra chuckled, walking into the kitchen and grabbing a glass of water.

Right as Cassandra got into bed at the end of the day, she felt her phone vibrate. Locking it up, she saw a message from Aibi.

Aibi

I'm sorry, I shouldn't have hit you
