He felt himself going mad. He kept on repeating the same sentence over and over again, each time he said it he could feel his mind growing number and number and it wasn't until said sentece was imprinted in his mind, until his memory could never get rid of it that he passed to the next sentence just so he could repeat the horrible process.

But as Jaune recited he failed to notice something approching. It wasn't even trying to hide its precenssence but the tired and broken mind of the young man was unable to register the how it approached, how it lurked close to him unrelenting and unwavering ready to prepare its attack. Slowly it approched a claw to the neck of the young man the instrument of Jaune's doom being carried right towards him.

"AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!" Jaune exclaimed as he felt the burning sensation on the nape of his neck.

"Hot chocolate?" Ai asked holding a cup while letting out a malicious giggle. "You're way too on edge."

"Can you blame me?" Jaune asked while scratching his eyes, he gave a quick look to the clock on the wall: 3:46 am. "I have classes at nine, if I keep on like this for another hour I will get two hours of sleep and can have naps in between classes to study for the exam."

"That doesn't seem pretty healthy." Ai said with some concern while putting down to cup of hot chocolate. "When are the exams?"

"In a week." Jaune said causing Ai to look at him in surprise and horror. "This are the final exams and the teachers said that basically everything we saw during the semester, this is the last strech. Once I'm done with it I will be free to be hired in the law office of Mister Wright and either start taking cases or I will have to do nothing because of him being a quite capable lawyer."

"How about we go to the beach aftet this?" Ai said with a calm tone slowly approching Jaune. "Not with the twins, I'm sure Miyako would have a pretty of free time to deal with them now that Ichigo stays so long in the office searching for a new idol group."

"Yeah that would be ni-" Jaune started before he felt the voice of Ai, right on his ear. His eyes widened as he heard Ai whisper various things to him, things that he had only seen in adult videos when he was a little younger and filled with curioisty about how women in the internet looked. He turned to look at Ai with a red face, with an scarlet expression that could not be described as any other thing than one of pure embarrassment.

"You know, a little bit of food for the thought." Ai said while walking back to the bedroom. "Or... You can come and we can try a little bit of that tonight for that little hour." Like that Ai Hoshino, his girlfriend dissapeared into the darkness of the bedroom they shared while letting out an hipnotizing giggle.

Jaune remained silent for a few seconds. He looked to the bedroom and then back to the notes and laptop he had on the desk. He looked at what could be one of the best hours in his life and then to the tortuse hour that he would need to deal with before falling asleep. He looked at the beautiful woman that was waiting for him in the dark and then he looked at the paper.

"Lord..." Jaune said before putting his hands together as if he was about to pray. "Please never give me a trial like this ever again."

With that Jaune had to bite his own tongue and keep on studying with dilligence, he knew that Ai would be upset at him in the morning but he didn't care he new he was about to pass the exam with a ten.

"Forgive me." Jaune said while poking the cheek of the pouting Ai. "Please Ai forgive me."

"What did you do?" Aqua asked the boy while the entire family ate dinner together. "She hasn't spoken to you in the entire day."

"Papa is a jerk." Ruby said told Aqua. "Or at least that is what Mama told me when I asked me when I asked."

Jaune sighed. He knew this would happen but not to this stubborn extent, sincerly it didn't matter to him though. Ichigo and him had made a bet, one simple bet that menat more for Jaune that the degree he was about to get, if he got a good score in the next exams the score would be the number he would pay them the number of vacation days in a beach at Mexico.

A seven would give them a week stay, while a ten would given a ten day stay. He was aiming for the ten and not only that but he was also preparing himself to give one of the biggest surprises to the girl in the shape of pretty nice ring.

Even if it mean to ignore the desire of his heart Jaune was goign to make sure that they were about to spend the best pre honey moon in the entire world!

Context. This moment happens four months afte the stalker incident, two months before Jaune and Ai started to date after she was discharged from the hospital and announced the world that she would be graduating from the world of idols because of the injury made by the incident with the stalker.

Jaune is thinking about asking to engage because even though they had stayed together for only two months he and she had been living together for about three years and taking care of the twins during that time.
