The Reason (7week, 1month)

"Wow talk about luck, most people wouldn't survive a hit like that" the first voice said.

Rigby slowly open his eyes, he felt a shock of pain on the left side of his head. He placed a hand where the area was in pain. It felt the area to be wet; he looked at his hand to see blood. He was confused why he was bleeding but his vision was coming back, and could there were more people in the room. Then he saw similar some faces and it took a while to see the whole gang was in the room, but they were standing around him. Starting off with Mordecai on his left side, along with Benson, Skips, Muscle Men, High Fives and Pops on his right.

Pops had brought a box of dozen donuts; he placed it on Rigby's lap. Rigby notice the box but Benson had moved it. The raccoon groan in pain, his head felt it was swelling up. As he look around the area he was in, the room was all white and the he could hear beeping sounds. Where was he thought as he look over to his friend. The last thing he could remember was that he was getting away from the doctor and nurse. When he run outside the hospital, the rain was pouring hard that he couldn't see where he was going. But he also remembers hearing a women screaming and the sound of car blowing its horn; after that everything went black.

What Rigby didn't remember after the car had hit him, the car did hit him just not very hard but enough to cause some minor injures. His body did flew off a bit from the car, but only his face made contact. The bumper of the car made contact and causing him to get hit by the side of his face. It was a good thing he had at least a pulse, the doctor and nurses quickly rushed him on a stretcher and back in to the hospital. It was a surprise that a simple check up would end up like this, Mordecai followed the nurses. Once the doctor and nurses had Rigby in safety and help him out, they told Mordecai to keep an eye on him. Mordecai end up calling Benson what just happen, not everything but only that there going be over for a bit longer. Rigby's doctor explain to nurses what happen and to not give him certain medicines.

"Dude you ran out of the hospital and a car hit you." Mordecai explaining what happen to his idiot friend.

"Serious I was hit by a car! Ow my head hurts so much uhhh." he realize why everything went black after he ran out and shouldn't have his eyes close when he ran.

"Your doctor said you were lucky, that it was just a minor injury to your face and not to your stomach."

Mordecai looked over to see Rigby had three monitors. One was for his heart and an IV for water. The last monitor he knew who it belong to, but other guys didn't seem to notice or care, but Benson looked over what Mordecai was looking and asked about it.

"Huh that's strange, why does Rigby have an extra monitor?" asked the gumball machine.

"Eh well you see it's for his...-" Mordecai was unsure to answer since he looked over Rigby who just looked away with shame.

Mordecai didn't know what to answer to Benson's question. Rigby wasn't sure wanted them to know, embarrassed they will look at him differently. Luckily the subject was change when they heard someone at the door knocking.

"Knock knock, heya guys just coming in, hope you guys don't mind if I can check the little guy."

Mordecai and Benson move out of the way for the doctor to get to Rigby. The nice men took out his stethoscope and check Rigby's heartbeat. He then lower the item to his stomach. Rigby was laughing nervously but the doctor was giving him a serious look. He stop laughing when it was serious what he was asking him, he turn to his side of the bed and place both hands on his eyes.

"Can someone please tell me what's going on? Mordecai what's wrong with Rigby?" As the boss Benson would like to know the health of his workers but it sounded like this guy laying in bed is keeping a secret. Mordecai was going to have to be the elephant in the room and say it.

"You see Benson...this is going to sound crazy and all, but...Rigbys um is pregnant..." Mordecai try his best saying it without it making it sound too weird.

Everyone in the room gasp, they thought this was a joke. Sadly it wasn't the doctor explain to Benson they did some tests and the results came out positive. Rigby is in fact pregnant and about one month or so. They wanted to know more information to make sure its correct.

Rigby was coking up on his tears, he couldn't believe what he was hearing. The doctor try his best explaining it wasn't so bad but he wanted to know how could a male get pregnant? Rigby shook his head and turn his direction to the other side, ignoring the doctor's question. He understood he seem stress and did not want to talk about it at this time.

The doctor left the room before stopping next to the blue jay, he patted on Mordecai's shoulder. The doctor look at him and congregated him for being a newly father. After the room got quiet, Mordecai was the first one to speak out.

He began telling them from what his mother had told him about her pregnancy and then his own childhood.

This all began before he was even born, his mother wanted a girl first but, she soon found out she was going to have a boy. "Benson I think Mordecai's right, we weren't in their the high school to know if this is true or not. Skips was right to reform Benson, but who was Rigby fooling. It really was written all over his face, the guilt was already eating him for all these years. Rigby looked at the pills that could get rid whatever that was inside him and thought to probably not take them. He took his time and limp himself back to his class. Mordecai was doing some of his class work and notice Rigby coming back in. He took the pills in his pockets and sat back on his seat carefully. Mordecai scooted his seat close to Rigby and asked where the heck was here.

He wander around the house for snacks and saw there weren't any. He made his way to the deli market that was down the street, but as he was walking back home he felt like he was being followed.

When he turn around to see who it was, Ronnie was already running towards him. Rigby notice he ran quickly, he ran back to his house. As soon he made it back to his safety of his own home, he was catching his breath. He was lucky that nobody was at home, his parents were at work along with his younger brother still at school. He walked upstairs to his bedroom, but he heard a window break downstairs. There was a sound of footsteps running upstairs and stop when his door was slam open, Ronnie face was on fire, angry in his eyes. He pushed Rigby onto his bed and stare down into his eyes.

"Please for the dear of god TAKE IT! TAKE THE DAMN PILLS!"

"Wha-why huh?! I don't care what happens to our relationship Ronnie, I'm not going to ask you for anything not even fucking child support!"

"Relationship? We never had one Rigby, maybe in your head there was but we are nothing."

"But…I thought you. . .I see."

"You actual like it when I force myself to have sex with you, it's was just sex Rigby. Look I don't have time for a child in my life. Even if you push me away from my kid, I was always have in the back of my mind. It would make me look a like a loser for not being a father, Rigby."

"Then I ju-just drop out of school, so no one has to see my fat stomach and I might even move to another state or somewhere, so no one will ever know. You wont ever have to know about me again."

"Stop acting crazy, that would make me feel worse. You don't know what you're getting yourself into man, Rigby for gods sake please take them. Not for you but for me, I really don't want to explain to my girlfriend that I knock up a dude."

Rigby could see this was finally the end of his runaways; the baby's daddy was on his knees with his hands covering his crying face. Rigby stretch over his arm over to grab his pillow, in his hand the pills were in the small plastic bag. He look over to the crying man, he poke Ronnie on the head and showing him the pills. Before he did take the pills, he shyly ask him something.

"Before I take them Ronnie, ca-can I ask one more favor?"

"...Uh-um sure what is it?"

"...Um ca-can you give me the last hug you will ever give to me."

Ronnie picked himself up and gave Rigby the tightest hug. Rigby brought his face up to Ron, unexpected again their lips locked. No tongue but they were kissing. This was something Rigby is willing to cut out from everyone but he probably tell Mordecai some day, maybe or not.

Rigby took the pills out of the bag and swallow them front of Ronnie, once the squirrel saw the deal was seal. He left from the front door, but had left some money for the broken window. As Rigby saw him walking out the door, he couldn't help to feel his feelings were deeply hurt, but felt his life was so over. So ever since that day he just dropped out, not able to see his former crush ever again.

"Really? Really Rigby that was the real reason you drop out of High school, I would never...why?" his best friend was so lost in words, all this time he thought Rigby left school because of his un-focusing in school. But for some asshole, it was so not even worth giving up his own future.

"You see this is why I didn't tell you man and that's the real reason I told you I lost the money. Sorry for lying you that I bought weed with the money man."

"Dude, if you would have told me then I wouldn't be pissed off at you for a whole month."

"That's all in the past now and I want to say I'm sorry, like I'm really sorry dude. I'm sorry I wasn't there to graduate with you."

Mordecai walked over to Rigby handling him a donut and gave him a soft punch on the shoulder. Rigby was glad that his buddy had forgiven him about everything, now that he knew his dark truth and past. Everyone in the room were enjoying the donuts that Pops had brought with him. Benson told Rigby that his life could almost sound like Mordecai soaps. It was good for Rigby to laugh for a while, it was amazing his friends didn't see him differently. Their attention headed back to the large door when they heard a female voice.

"Knock- knock" a feminine voice was heard from behind a door.

Everyone move away when the large door open again, it was a different doctor. She was well looking female cat with big black afro hair, but she had a sweet voice. Her smile brought Rigby's checks to blush, seeing he had a beautiful doctor. She made her way to check on Rigby's blood pressure and his breathing.

"Hello Rigby, I heard you were expecting something but you seem gotten hurt before leaving the hospital. But no worries okay, it's always scary for first timers but I promise you, it will be pretty exciting in the long run. Oh my bad, my name is Jazmin and I will be your doctor for the next 9 months."

"Nin-nine months you say! Oh my god that sounds like about half of year."

"If you don't like the sound of that, would you prefer for me to say how 39 weeks till you see your little angel."

She pulled her stethoscope around her neck and sat next to Rigby to check his small injury on his head. Jazmin asked for Mordecai to hand him some bandages in a box. She was replacing the use bandage for a fresh one and she continue talking to Rigby.

"Since you are about one month pregnant, have you thought about taking some prescriptions for your pregnancy. It would be good for you and your baby health, sometimes babies don't come out good when mothers don't take care of themselves good. You and your friends should take some books to learn more about this. Wouldn't that be fun for you guys huh."

The doctor walk out to grab a bag that was outside the door, and she came back in to hand everyone a book but High Fives and Muscle Men shared. And the doctor gave a special book about 'Raccoons' to Benson. Everyone just realize this is really happening, it sounded so impossible to happen. As for Rigby he felt the weight was lifted from his shoulders but he was scared, that now he had something inside in him. Rigby rubbed his belly before thinking what in the world had he gotten himself into now.

Now the gang finds out that Rigby is knock up, and I know some of you are going to say "Rigby can't get pregnant he's a dude." My only defense is Its Anything But,
