Chapter 2.5: A certain Merry Christmas
(Kamijou Touma) 25th December
His eyes snap open. The one day a year that he doesn't hold back on money; christmas. He hums happily as he enters the kitchen and begins to make himself and his teammates breakfast.
Soon there are pancakes, eggs, sausages, bacon and other breakfast foods ready and the table is set.
"Food…" Index mumbles under her breath as she walks into the kitchen half asleep before beginning to gobble down the food in front of her.
"Merry Christmas Index." Kamijou says happily as he continues to make more food. Only the faint sound of a chair being moved tells him that Shirai has begun to eat breakfast. Flipping a pancake he hums happily.
Nothing could stop him from being happy today. Nothing at all.
"Morning Shirai." He greets the perverted teen.
However his humming is interrupted by the sound of a bottle being dropped. He turns around to see Biri-Biri and Shirai looking at him like he's finally lost it.
"Something wrong girls?" He asks as he passes Index her third plate. Index takes a bite before moaning in delight.
"Toouuummmaaa. Food sho good…Please marry me and make me food forever." Index says between bites.
Kamijou is momentarily stunned by her sudden proposal before saying "I'll probably be making you food forever anyway so no, I will not marry you."
Misaka, who had been watching the interaction with great interest, suddenly let out a sigh of relief. Shirai just looks shocked that someone could ever want to marry him.
Almost as if a lightbulb went off in Shirai's head she spoke up. "Ape…I heard Ruby needed some help with preparations for christmas. You go."
"Why me?" He asks in annoyance.
"Because she needs a big, strong man to help her move everyone's presents." She explains although the words she just spoke obviously left a bitter after taste in her mouth.
"Couldn't you or Index just teleport the stuff?" He asks.
Shirai goes to retort but Index beats her to it by biting his head.
(Such Misfortune!)
"Fine…I'll help…but let it be known that I know you are up to something fishy." Kamijou says, pointing his finger at the three of them.
Index and Misaka look guilty while Shirai looks completely unaffected by his accusation. She pushes him out of the room seemingly in a hurry.

After swinging by team RWBY's dorm and finding out that Ruby did in fact not need his help his suspicions were all but confirmed. His team apparently had some kind of Christmas surprise for him.
As a side note Blake was oddly missing from their dorm considering that was where she spent most of her time. Anyway, he hopes his Christmas surprise isn't some kind of fight with Biri-Biri.
Maybe Shirai is finally ready to join the perverts club? He would like to talk about stuff like that again like his old self had with this Tsuchimikado from academy city. But then again it would also be incredibly awkward if that was the case considering he would mainly be hearing about Misaka.
Actually, thinking about it more, the whole situation would be weird. She would probably look disgusted if she heard half the things his mind conjured up.
As he goes to open the door to his dorm he hears Misaka shout "wait!"
"Something wrong?" He asks through the door.
"Just give us a minute!" A voice calls through the door that he recognises to be Blake's
(Why is she in there?)
"Come in Ape!" Shirai calls.
He opens the door to see four girls dressed in Christmas outfits. His jaw drops. He holds his nose in a feeble attempt to stop the inevitable nosebleed.
"Merry Christmas Touma!"
"Merry Christmas Ape!"
"Merry Christmas Idiot!"
"Merry Christmas Kamijou!"
Misaka is in a Santa inspired outfit that even has a hat. However what really draws his attention is the revelation that Misaka actually has breasts.
Shirai is in a very similar outfit but is wearing a party hat instead.
Index is in an adorable reindeer outfit and even has a red clown nose on to complete the look.
(So adorable!)
However Blake's outfit is the cutest. She too is in a Santa outfit but she is wearing a red and white hood that even has space for her cat ears! The fact that her costume is tighter than everyone else's doesn't change anything at all.
No sir. He is totally not staring at her chest.
However Misaka notices where he is gazing and turns very red.
"Yooouuuu PERVERT!" She yells in jealousy.
Not even the shock he felt then could stop him from enjoying this moment.
However, that is when he truly wakes up. He was awoken by Index biting his head and demanding food.
"Toouummaaa! I'm so hungry!" She exclaims before nomming on his arm.
He sighs.
(Merry Christmas I suppose…)
He looks at the time on his scroll and notices it's the evening.
(There's no way…was that real?)
He doesn't notice the four costumes stuffed under Misaka's bed.
