Alrighty. Long ass chapter ahead. Hopefully this makes up for the lack of updates but the spring semester is over and I don't have to worry about studying for the time being so here we are.

-Hidden Cloud-

Kiyomi's eyes flash red, making the Kumo jonin before her collapse to the ground in a heap as her ocular genjutsu takes hold.

Off to the side Naruto lets out an impressed whistle, the fox mask covering his face and an illusion over him making his hair long and red like that of his mother's. "No matter how many times I see it, the sharingan always seems unfair."

The Uchiha looks back at him with a smirk and a wink as they walk past the fallen ninja and gate in order to get to the Eight-Tails jinchuriki, "of course it is. The Uchiha is the strongest clan to exist after all."

Naruto smirks behind his mask before looping an arm around Karin and pulling her close. "Oh? I seem to remember another clan called the Uzumaki still being around, so how is it that the Uchiha are the strongest? Isn't that right Karin?"

The aforementioned redhead blushes at her clan member's closeness, "well, the Uzumaki were the first to form their own hidden village."

Kiyomi scoffs and pouts cutely as all three begin using chakra to walk up a cliff-face, "the Uchiha would have done the same if we weren't at war with the Senju."

"You keep telling yourself that," Naruto says with a chuckle, the three of them finally reaching the top and seeing a figure standing out in the distance, making him grin. "There he is. That's the jinchuriki of the Eight-Tails, Killer Bee. From my dad's memories he's pretty strong and a perfect jinchuriki so be careful."

The man in question was dark skinned with blonde cornrows, wearing oval-shaped sunglasses and a white-colored forehead protector. He also has his village's standard white one-strap-over-one-shoulder flak jacket, and a long, red rope belt tied around his waist, the standard Kumo hand and shin guards, shinobi sandals, and a white scarf around his neck along with seven swords strapped to his back.

"Yo say hoh!" The man suddenly yells out as he begins bouncing up and down to an unheard beat. "Know ma name, know ma fame, don't be lame! Eight-Tails, that's me, the rapping Killer Bee!"

"What the..." Karin asks under her breath with a sweatdrop as she, Naruto and Kiyomi watch the jinchuriki of the Eight-Tails dance around while rapping.(1)

"Three idiots in cloaks, what can I do for you folks? Answer quick, or I'll send ya back in a tote!"

Kiyomi sighs as she steps forward deciding she would be the one to challenge the cloud-nin, her chokuto appearing in her hands with a puff of smoke as she sheds her cloak. "Why do all jinchuriki have such weird quirks? Gaara was a murderous insomniac and Naruto had way too much energy, though that one may just be a him thing."

Said blonde, now disguised as a redhead, twitches in annoyance at her small jab. Normally he'd be indignant and say something in response but he'll save that for later. So instead he decides to stick to their cover. "Remember not to kill him Kiyomi. It would be a hassle to wait for the Eight-Tails to reform."

"Yeah, yeah, I know Kushimaru, just watch my back. Karin use your senses to make sure no one interrupts." She says, before moving closer toward Killer Bee, using lightning chakra to electrify her blade.

From within Bee's mindscape a giant in the form of a beast with the upper half of an ox and the lower being that of an octopus perks up when it hears the name Naruto chose for himself. "Be careful Bee. Those three, their chakra feels...heavy and dense. And that one with the mask feels really familiar. It can't be good."

"Don't worry Eight-o, I'll take these fools out like a rug! Then we can head to the village to get some grub!"

"Now's not the time for your idiotic rapping Bee..."

In a flick of motion, Bee grabs onto his swords and quickly unsheathes all seven of them. Tossing the blades in the air and catching them with various parts of his body, including his mouth.

Karin's eyes bug out at the weird and almost comical stance the jinchuriki gets into. "What the hell kind of stance is that?!"

Kiyomi though, can tell just on instinct just how dangerous the man is. Her years of sword training under Orochimaru shining through as she notices the lack of clear openings in his stance. "Not to mention the sheer number of blades could overwhelm any opponent even an Uchiha with their sharingan activated." She thinks to herself as she adjusts her stance into a more defensive position.

The two sword users stare each other down, waiting for a signal, only for it to never come as Killer Bee suddenly jumps high into the air, twirling as he does so and turns into a spinning ball of blades that crashes into Kiyomi's position, prompting her to lift up her sword to block it.

What follows next is a bladed dance of death that has both Uchiha and jinchuriki begin clashing around the makeshift arena in a flash of steel.

A bit of sweat beads down Kiyomi's face as she uses the full concentration of her sharingan to predict and counter the storm of blades Killer Bee sends her way.

"Oh shit.." her eyes widen when she looks at all the swords her opponent throws into the air, only for it to be a distraction from the real attack, that being a heel drop that craters the ground as she dodges out of the way, followed a double overhead slash that would have broken her guard if not for her reinforcing her chokuto with lightning chakra.

Flaring her chakra to add more power to her muscles, she pushes back against the swords, eventually beginning to cut through the two blades.

Acting quickly, Killer Bee also flows lightning chakra through his blades, canceling out Kiyomi's own flow, slightly surprising her.

Taking advantage of the lull in her defense, the Eight-Tails jinchuriki snaps out a kick that catches her in the stomach, making the Uchiha cough up spit and be sent tumbling backwards.

Bouncing twice on the ground, she eventually flips back into her feet and goes through several hand seals before taking a deep breath with puffed out cheeks. Fire Style: Phoenix Flower Jutsu!

Kiyomi spits several fireballs into the air and uses her chakra to make them surround her target before flaring her chakra once more to pepper his position, making Killer Bee have to weave and dodge around them. "Oh yeah! Girly's really turnin' up the heat! I should also, else I'll be beat! WEEEE!" He yells out, suddenly stopping and striking a pose.

Raising an eyebrow at this action, Kiyomi decides to not waste the opportunity and compels the remaining fireballs to converge on his position, throwing up a huge dust cloud that covers Killer Bee's form.

"She got him!" Karin exclaims from the side while pumping her fist, only for Naruto to chuckle in response. "What?"

Naruto stops laughing and faces his fellow Uzumaki, "Killer Bee's a jinchuriki that has full control of his tailed beast. That's not enough to even dent him. Watch."

Gulping slightly, Karin focuses her attention back on the battle, her eyes widening when she feels a sharp increase in their target's chakra. "What the..."

Killer Bee suddenly bursts from the cloud of smoke, his form completely covered in a thick, bubbling coat of red chakra and goes full tilt toward Kiyomi's position.

Already seeing this coming through her sharingan, Kiyomi flips out of the way just as he crashes into the ground. Going through several backhand springs, the Uchiha tries to gain distance but has to use a quick body flicker when Killer Bee races toward her once again.

Going through hand signs again once she lands in her new position, Kiyomi's left hand becomes covered in lightning. Chidori Senbon! She then waves it in the direction of Killer Bee. The action is followed by several needles of pure lightning flying from her hand directly in the jinchuriki's direction. However upon contact, the technique just sinks into the bubbling cloak without making it to skin.

Sucking on her teeth in annoyance, she instead decides to go with a new tactic. Her left hand once again coated in lightning, she channels chakra into her legs and rushes straight toward him at blinding speeds.

Seemingly accepting her challenge, Killer Bee grins and does the same with his right arm stretched out in a clothesline. but just before contact could be made, Kiyomi flips over the jinchuriki's attack. Landing behind him, she thrusts her hand of sharpened lightning into the right side of his body, making sure to hit a lung as she knows a jinchuriki could easily survive a blow like that.

The cloud shinobi stops in his tracks, coughing up blood as he feels the current flow through his system, but instead of falling over he grins, "damn girl you got me with your hands all sparky. But unfortunately for you I'm gonna end this malarkey!"

Sensing the sharp spike in chakra, Kiyomi cancels her technique and quickly jumps away to gain distance, landing next to Naruto and Karin.

Karin's eyes widen at the chakra she feels, "uh guys, something's happening to him.."

"Yeah, he's going full tailed beast," Naruto comments offhandedly as he too prepares his chakra. "You two stand back a bit, I want to try something. Karin I want you to get ready to use your chakra chains and Kiyomi use your Susanoo on my signal."

Both look at him with raised eyebrows but nod as they take positions half a step behind him, also molding their chakra.

The group watches as several tentacles sprout from Killer Bee's lower body as he continues to rap.

"Yo! From the east to the west you know I'm the best! It's me Killer Bee and my buddy Eight-o, since you decided to mess with us we'll erase ya pronto! Yeahhhh!"

His body then fades away into a fleshy mass that takes shape in the form of a giant ox with eight octopus tentacles as its base.

"Yo, yo, yo! Get ready to taste defeat cause with one move you'll be layin' at my feet! Wheeee!"

The hulking beast then rears back and begins gathering a dense ball of pure black chakra in front of its mouth, making Karin stumble back slightly in surprise. "Wha-what the hell is he doing?"

"That's a lot of chakra.." Kiyomi mutters, also in shock.

Naruto puts his hands into a ram seal as several of his mother's golden chains slither out from each wrist and stab into the ground. "He's going to do a tailed-beast bomb, though from the size of it, it looks like it could obliterate the whole mountain."

"Then shouldn't we stop him!?" Karin nervously yells out, "if he lets that technique go..."

"It'll be alright," the disguised blonde says calmly, "I have a plan. Just wait on my signal."

Kiyomi lets out a 'tsk' bit smirks, "alright idiot. You better know what you're doing."

"Heh. When don't I?"

"..."

"..."

"Uh actually, don't answer that," he mutters sheepishly.

Just then the large beast finishes charging its attack. "You've floated with the butterfly, now get stung by the Killer Bee!" With that, the merged jinchuriki releases his attack in the form of a blinding white cone of absolute destruction, ripping the ground to shreds as it makes its way toward their group.

Naruto thrusts both his hands forward response, "alright mom don't fail me now...".Uzumaki Style: Adamantine Sealing Barrier!

Upon his call, dozens of chains sprout from the ground, making a crisscross pattern with a blue barrier between the golden links.

Both girls brace themselves behind Naruto as the massive attack crashes into the barrier. but unbelievably, it holds, tanking the entire attack until it fades and leaving the group without even a speck of dirt on their clones.

"Karin, now!"

"R-Right!" Uzumaki Style: Adamantine Attacking Chains!

Still surprised at the fact they hadn't been atomized, the redhead jumps from behind Naruto and lets her silver chains fly free. The mass of sharpened silver blurs toward the beast and easily pierces through its body and into the ground behind it, holding it in place.

"Shit! Bee those two are actually Uzumaki! We need to get out of here now!" Gyuki yells at his host from within the mindscape, prompting the transformed Killer Bee to respond by thrashing around to try and break the chains.

"I'm trying Eight-o but we're in a bind!""

Seeing Karin's chains work in holding the beast in place, he turns to his Uchiha partner, "now Kiyomi!"

Kiyomi flares her chakra and takes off in a sprint toward the chained beast, her mangekyo sharingan spinning rapidly as a purple avatar in the shape of her Susanoo takes form around her. While at the same time, one of her snakes slithers out from her hair, specifically the one that contains the four-pointed mangekyo that also flares in response to her chakra.

Once done forming, she directs it toward the Eight-Tails, who is still struggling against Karin's chains. But this is when she notices a new addition in the form of a green drill-like lance in her chakra construct's right arm.(2)

Though confused at first, she decides to use her new weapon to her advantage.

Charging forward, she thrusts her lance directly into the center of the beast's chest, piercing through its flesh and causing it to roar in pain. However instead of stopping there, she pushes more force into her attack, using her Susanoo's second hand to do so, knocking the beast over and pinning it to the ground.

"Kushimaru! If you're gonna absorb this thing, do it now!"

"On it!"

Not wasting another second, the disguised Uzumaki sprints toward his partner's chakra construct, running up it until he reaches the top, which he then jumps off of as his blood-red chains explode out from his back and latch onto the beast as well. Its hooked ends and barbed links digging deep into its skin as they glow brightly.

From inside Killer Bee's mindscape, the Eight-Tails widens its eyes as a memory of yet another redhead comes to the forefront.

-Flashback, Uzushio-

Gyuki watches through his hosts eyes as a redheaded man with purple eyes and a sword through his torso laughs maniacally as he limps toward his host, when suddenly, dozens of black chains burst from the man's arms and somehow latch onto him through his jinchuriki's seal.

"Hahhahahaha! Let's see how you fucking cloud gazers fight without your damn jinchuriki! This is for trying to kidnap my little sister!" Uzumaki Style: Adamantine Hauling Chains!

Gyuki feels himself being pulled right out of his seal, leaving the man who once hosted him to collapse over dead.

Just as he feels himself disperse he locks eyes with intensely glowing purple ones.

"Know this as you respawn creation of the Sage. The one who defeated you and your host was Kushimaru Uzumaki!"(3)

-Flashback End-

Even though listening to Bee's constant rapping was annoying, he still didn't want the cloud shinobi to die, as he was his favorite host so far, so he'll use a way to save him.

Focusing on the top of head, where Bee is currently sitting, he begins to lay out his plan. "Listen Bee, we need to get out of here before it's too la-"

But before he could spell out his plan, dozens of red chains sprout from the darkness and wrap tightly around the both of them as the sound of giant footsteps gets closer. "Hey, hey, hey! Don't run away, I did a lot to get this far ya know."

Both tailed beast and jinchuriki look up in surprise at the new voice and the sight of a large blonde fox with nine tails makes Gyuki's breath hitch. "K-Kurama?"

The giant fox gives a wicked grin, "sorry Gyuki, but Kurama isn't here anymore." It then glows brightly and shrinks down into the shape of a blonde with fox ears and nine tails. "It's just me left."

The eight-tailed ox furrows his brow and stares at the young man that he finally recognizes as he slowly walks forward. "You. You're his jinchuriki...What did you do with Kurama?"

The blonde shrugs, "I absorbed his chakra into mine. While at first I did it to rid myself of my burden I couldn't help but feel bad when I received all of his memories as well."

"So you killed him..and you plan to do the same with me," the large ox-octopus hybrid continues for him with a frown before sighing and bowing his head. "I'm well aware of what an Uzumaki and those infernal chains of your clan can do. I only ask that you somehow spare Bee."

Raising a single eyebrow, Naruto crosses his arms, "oi, oi, don't talk like I'm some evil guy that came to murder you or something," he sighs as he walks closer. "I just said 'I felt bad' about it didn't I?"

"So you don't plan to take all of my chakra?"

Naruto uncrosses his arms and stops right in front of the beast with a grin, willing his chains to recede back into the floor of the mindscape, "nah. Just most of it. I wouldn't want to kill Bee either, from my dad's memories he had a lot of respect for the both of you back during the Third Shinobi World War and I don't want to trample on that. To be honest, he probably hoped Kurama and I would have the same relationship you have with Bee."

Killer Bee perks up at his words, "your pops and I tangoed? What's his name bro?"

"Minato Namikaze."

The dark-skinned man's eyes widen behind his glasses before a wide smirk finds itself on his face before he jumps down, heedless of his tailed beast's shout of warning, and lands in front of Naruto. "No shit? That blonde really knew how to hit, to think that crazy ass redhead would be the one he would get with."

"You knew my mom too?" he asked in slight surprise, he didn't remember seeing the two of them meeting in any of her memories.

"Nah, just heard of her through the grape vine, heard she'd cut through shinobi all the time."

Naruto nods but can't help the sweatdrop on his face as Bee continues to rap each time he spoke, "does he really do that every time he talks? Even in his head?" he asks toward Gyuki, who could only shake his head in response.

"Yes he does unfortunately."

"Yo Eight-o, don't dis the flow, ya fool!"

"That didn't even rhyme Bee..."

"Pffft…"

Naruto lets out a laugh at the two arguing, a wistful expression on his face as he wipes a tear from eye, "maybe if things turned out a little differently Kurama and I could've been like this. Though that gives me an idea I'll have to try out later..."

Though that thought is put to the side when the mindscape begins to rumble, prompting Gyuki to get serious once again."Since you have Kurama's memories I'm assuming you know what could happen if you gather all of the tailed beast's chakra correct?"

Naruto tilts his head and nods, "yeah, I'm aware and I have a plan for that so you won't have to worry. My goal in taking your chakra is to make sure no other village could use a tailed beast or jinchuriki as weapons of war anymore." He then puts both hands on his hips as his tails swing from side-to-side. "If they want to destroy each other, fine. But they won't be using people like me or Bee for it ever again."

"Ha ha! That's what I'm talking about! Though I wonder if the other villages will hear you out!" Killer Bee suddenly says with a laugh as he sticks out his fist toward the blonde. "Well, Minato was one hell of a guy, so I won't mind giving you a try."

The blonde gives a fanged grin at his words and bumps his fist against Killer Bee's, "you won't have to worry about a thing old man, since I got one hell of a plan."

At hearing him rhyme, Killer Bee's smile gets even wider and Gyuki can't help but shake his head as the mindscape slowly crumbles away and disappears.

"Please let there not be another one…"

-Outside the Mindscape-

once his consciousness comes back to the real world, Naruto sees that the tailed beast transformation has disappeared and his chains are now attached to a knocked-out Killer Bee, still sucking out the Eight-Tail's chakra but now at a slower pace as to not kill him.

Standing up, from his crouched position and hefting the man onto his shoulder, he idly notices the two Cloud ninja spying on them from a far distance, making him smirk, "alright, we got him. Let's get out of here before someone else shows up." He says, prompting both Kiyomi and Karin to nod and disappear from the mountain top with him.

Once the three disappear, the two Cloud ninja that were watching from afar jump down and survey the damage, one of them picking Kiyomi's Akatsuki cloak that she left behind. "Red clouds on a black cloak...the same ones that took Yugito, one of them was an Uchiha too. Lord Ay won't be happy when he hears this."

The other cloud shinobi shakes his head, "he won't just be unhappy, he'll be furious. Lord Bee is his brother. While Yugito was an acceptable loss in his eyes, Lord Bee won't be."(4)

"Shit...let's go report this immediately."

"Right."

-XXX-

"Are you sure it was the right idea to leave my cloak behind? Seems like a rookie mistake."

Naruto hums at the very valid question from the Uchiha as they travel at blinding speeds through the landscape in an effort to get far from Kumo as quickly as possible. "That's because it'll piss off the Raikage. He'll see it as a calling card left to taunt him after we were able to defeat and capture his little brother right under his nose."

Karin looks at the cloud jinchuriki still wrapped up in Naruto's chains in surprise , "wait, is this guy really the Raikage's brother? I didn't think Kumo would make a jinchuriki out of him if that was the case."

"Jinchuriki have always been closely related to the kage of a village in some shape or form," Naruto replies with a shrug, "I'm the son of the Fourth Hokage remember? Gaara, the former jinchuriki of the one-tails was the son of the Kazekage and even in Iwa the jinchuriki of the Four and Five tails are direct cousins to the Tsuchikage."

"Since when did you get so knowledgeable of the Elemental Nations?" Kiyomi asks with a raised eyebrow and a taunting grin, "you wouldn't even know the names of those countries if it wasn't for me and Hinata basically shoving the information down your throat when we were younger." Not that Naruto was slow or anything, it's just that his brain would rather focus on how he could blow stuff up rather than history and geography.

Naruto sticks his tongue out childishly at her jab, "I'll have you know that while Pervy Sage didn't teach me much in the way of jutsu during my training trip, he did pound the current state of affairs of the nations in my head as well introduce me to some of his connections and safe houses. I even managed to make some of my own in lightning country and Earth country."

Kiyomi lets out a snicker as they land in a nearby clearing, "oh? And here I thought all that pervert did was teach you how to make a rasengan bigger."

"Oh come on, have more faith in my late master. Super Pervert he may have been but he's still one of the best spy masters the world had to offer." Naruto says in defense of Jiraiya with a small smile, "though he did have a habit of leaving me behind to go to a brothel on several occasions."

Karin sends a deadpan his way, "brothels..really?"

"Hey, the man needed inspiration for his books, "he responds with a shrug. "Peeping in hotsprings only does so much. But either way, I'm about done taking the Eight-Tail's chakra."

Laying Killer Bee on the ground, his chains pulse brightly for a few seconds before letting go and slithering back into his body. Naruto then closes his eyes as his body acclimates to the absorbed chakra.

After a few seconds, his eyes open just as Bee awakes and sits himself up. There was a brief pulse of power that is quickly snuffed out as Naruto lets out a breath, "alright, all done."

"Is that really it? I expected you to gain another tail at least," Kiyomi states through crossed arms and a raised eyebrow, Karin also nodding in agreement next to her.

"Yeah, I thought you said the number of tails a beast has depends on its amount of chakra? So with the eight-tails also in you shouldn't you have more tails by now?"

Naruto stands up and stretches his arms, letting his nine tails fan out, "yes but each tail added is exponential, so in order to even get ten full tails I'd need the other seven."

Bee kips up from his prone position and faces the group, Kiyomi and Karin automatically getting into fighting stances in response only for Naruto to hold his hand up to stop them, "don't worry you two, everything's all good."

"He's right girlies, now I can take that vacation I been havin' in the makin'" the cloud nin raps while bouncing on his toes.

Karin raises an eyebrow as her chains go back into her body and Bee continues to rhyme, "he's still rapping? I thought he only did that to get into our heads while fighting."

Naruto chuckles, "nah he does it all the time, makes you really feel bad for Gyuki."

"And who's Gyuki?" Kiyomi asks as Naruto walks up to the dark-skinned man and taps the tattoo on his right shoulder where the kanji for 'Iron' was located. What follows next is a poof of smoke, a miniature version of the eight-tails coming along with it.

"Guh, it's been too long since I've been out of a seal." Gyuki says while stretching, prompting everyone in the clearing to pause and look in shock.

Killer Bee was the first to react by picking up the mini tailed beast and holding him high in the air with a large grin on his face, "woah Eight-o, blondie worked his magic like a genie, now you're all teeny!"

Naruto chuckles, "I left you with as much chakra as an elite jonin should have Gyuki. I also made it so you can pop in and out of the seal whenever you like."

Struggling out from Bee's grip and choosing to settle on his shoulder, Gyuki nods, "I see, thank you. But the things you said about not wanting the tailed beasts and their jinchuriki to be used for war. Is that true?"

"All of it," the blonde replies with a nod, "I also promise to get your siblings out of that statue and make sure you guys aren't sealed ever again."

Sighing, the miniature beast nods at Naruto's words, seeing no hint of deception in his eyes. "Alright, I'll hold you to it Uzumaki. Let's go Bee."

Killer Bee smirks and begins hopping on his feet again while bumping fists with Naruto, "Oh yeah! See ya bro, can't wait to see how your dreams grow! Gonna do some serious action on this impromptu vacation! Enka will bring my rhymes lots of flava! Wheeee!"

"Ugh, kill me.."

Both Bee and Gyuki then disappear into the trees leaving a chuckling Naruto and a thoroughly confused Kiyomi and Karin before he turns to the both of them, "alright, part one of the plan is done. I got Gyuki's chakra so now we can move to part two: the both of you officially cutting ties with the Akatsuki."

Nodding, both Karin and Kiyomi reach into their ninja pouches and take out their rings, something that was needed for the fake Madara to contact them as well as seal away the tailed beasts. Therefore destroying these rings will kill two birds with one stone.

Both girls toss the items to the ground and Kiyomi's mangekyo flares to life.

Amaterasu!

The rings are instantly set alight with pure black flames and quickly after, Karin takes off her hooded cloak and tosses it onto the everlasting flames.

After the rings and Karin's cloak are reduced to ash, Naruto turns to his two companions with a grin, "and with that, part two of our business here is complete. Now let's find an inn nearby to stay for the night to make sure the Raikage acts as I suspect."

-Later That Night-

Kiyomi lets out a relaxed sigh as she sits down in the hotspring. It didn't take long for Naruto, Kiyomi and Karin to find an inn on the main road close by Kumo and after settling in, Naruto left saying he had something else he wished to accomplish in the village itself but that had been a few hours ago and she was tired of waiting so she decided to go for a dip in the spring to pass the time and reflect.

Namely over the green drill-spear she used during the fight against Killer Bee. As far as she could tell, her own Susanoo's main weapon was a wrist-mounted crossbow and the occasional sword for close range. So the new weapon must be from the unknown set of mangekyo she reclaimed from Danzo before his death.

Could she also use its special ocular power as well? What even was its mangekyo ability?

"And let me get this straight...one of the reasons you decided to join his spy network was because he gives good back massages?" Karin asks in slight disbelief. The woman was a veteran kunoichi for Sage's sake it shouldn't be something as simple as that to turn her. Even if it was true Naruto could do amazing things with his hands as she learned just last night.

The older blonde shrugs and rubs her sore shoulders, "there was that and he knew the burden of being a jinchuriki. He was able to understand the troubles Yugito went through before Bee made it known that jinchuriki could be protectors as well."

"But I want to know how you survived Hozoki," she says, looking back into his eyes, "that place was nothing but a giant crater when I arrived as part of a joint squad and the only thing left was a lingering feeling of the Nine-Tail's chakra."

"Well that's cause I caused the explosion," Naruto replies easily with a shrug. "After I was shoved in the Box of Ultimate Bliss and killed the demon living in it I busted out with two others and blew the place to the Pure Lands."

Samui's eyes widen at the statement, "you blew it up? How?"

"I merged with both the demon in the box and the Nine-Tails, but I'll tell you the whole story later. I need you to eat this first." He then pulls out a black pill from his pouch. "And just a warning. It's gonna hurt a bit."

Samui takes the pill from his hand and looks at it, "what is it? And you better tell me everything after."

"Pure chakra from the box I was thrown in and I promise, I'll tell you all you need to know especially how I'm going to bring Yugito back."

Looking at him once more, the now ex-Kumo nin nods, "alright, but if it's something uncool I'll shock you." She then pops the pill into her mouth, chewing a bit before swallowing.

Just a few seconds later she doubles over, a groan of pain escaping her lips as the pill takes its desired effects.

Streaks of white lightning arc out from her body as her previously blonde hair is bleached white and has several black markings appear on it along with a pair of black and white tiger ears. Her light blue eyes darken to a stormy blue-gray and gain slits for pupils. Finally, a black and white stripped tail bursts from her lower back.(9)

"A Byakko? Very fitting." Naruto mutters to himself as the white lightning surrounding Samui finally dies down and she stands up and admires the ease in which she could produce her signature lightning as well as her new yokai features.

"What happened to me?" Samui questions as she feels her new feline ears, "why did I take on features of a tiger?" Her eyes then widen, "and my aching shoulders are gone."

"You're a yokai now like us," the blonde answers as he, Kiyomi and Karin let out their own features to show her, "now I can-"

"Uh Naruto, we need to go," Karin suddenly says, interrupting him, "her transformation sent out a large wave of chakra and we're still close enough for Kumo sensor nin to feel it. They might scramble a squad soon."

"Well shit..guess that's our cue," he says with a sigh, "come on Samui, I'll fill you in on everything while on our way to Wind Country."

Samui nods and they all take off into the trees, moving much faster than the average ninja thanks to the advantages of being a yokai. "What's over there?"

"Hopefully another member if we manage to convince her. Speaking of which.." While tree-hopping, Naruto goes through several hand seals and spits out a large glob of ink which quickly form into three foxes that take off in different directions.(10)

Kiyomi raises an eyebrow at the display, "what was that all about?"

Naruto smirks in return, "thanks to absorbing most of Gyuki's chakra I'm now able to make constructs of ink. I just sent one to everyone in Sound so that they can meet up with us in Wind Country, the other is for my contact in Earth Country and the last went to Hinata to give her an update."

"Why not use your toads? That's how you always sent and received messages before." Samui asked as that was the main way she used to feed him intel, especially after Yugito was taken.

"Ever since Hozoki I've been unable to summon them," he responds with a shrug, "I'm pretty sure it has to do with me changing my very DNA with the chakra from the demon but I'm not one hundred percent sure. Either way, it helps with my cover of being dead."(11)

"I see...well then, since we have quite the journey before we reach our destination, how about you finally tell me what you convinced me to abandon my village for?"

The blonde smirks and turns his head slightly to face her, "I got four words for ya.."

Creation Of All Things

-Sound Country, Earlier -

"Oi fucker, you sure this the right place?"

"Y-Yes ma'am!"

"Well you better hope you're godamn right or else I'll come back for you and your pathetic clan. Now get the fuck outta my sight." The young man nods rapidly and runs away as fast as he can.

Ryuzetsu raises an eyebrow and smirks slightly as he trips over several tree roots, "was that threat really necessary?"

"'Course it was," Tayuya replies with a scoff, "the only thing people listen to in this country is force. Now those dumbasses will think twice before they randomly attack someone."

"Well, that and the fact you killed over half of them," Haku adds with a smirk of her own causing the pinkette to shrug uncaringly.

"Fuckers deserved it after they looked at me like I was some hot piece of ass they could claim."

"Because it's been thoroughly claimed already right?" Ryuzetsu questions teasingly, getting a giggle from Haku and making Tayuya's cheeks heat up.

"Fuck you," she says in reply, giving her white-haired friend a scathing look before taking a calming breath and facing the entrance of the lair they've been told was home to the last of Orochimaru's curse mark experiments, " let's just take these fuckers out already. Ice Queen, cut the damn thing open."

Getting her previous laughter under control, Haku easily hefts up the large blade and unleashes two quick swings in an X shape that slices through the heavy iron door like it was butter.

As it falls to the ground, she rests her sword on her shoulder and raises an eyebrow, "you think there will be anyone sane here?"

"If the last few bases we destroyed were any sign, it's highly unlikely," Ryuzetsu says as she points her naginata forward and uses a bit of chakra to summon a ball of light that appears on its tip, illuminating their surroundings. "That curse mark stuff is really dangerous isn't it?"

"Yah got that right," Tayuya says with a nod as they make their way into the hidden base, "that shit will fuck you up mentally if left alone long enough, only a rare few could control it. And even then it's not a guarantee they'll keep their mind."

Ryuzetsu raises an eyebrow, "and you had that thing on you the whole time you were in Hozoki? How'd you not go crazy?"

"Well first off," Tayuya says while raising a single finger, "I'm a fucking badass, and two," she continues raising a second one, "blondie's perverted sensei put a seal on it so it wouldn't act up back when Konoha captured me."

"So what you mean to say is you were only saved by Jiraiya," Haku corrects, chuckling as the three of them come to another door at the end of the hall.

Tayuya scoffs, "sure whatever, let's just get this over with," she mutters while taking off her beanie, "the annoyin' thing about having horns is I gotta keep takin' off my beanie each time I transform."

"Tell me about it," Ryuzetsu agrees, also taking off her green bandana. "So, are we going in like actual ninja or loud like last time?"

The pinkette smirks as her white horns pop from her head and her skin darkens, "do yah even need to ask?"

"Guess not," Ryuzetsu replies with a grin of her own as her own dragon like features pop out, "you ready for this Haku?" she asks looking toward the ice user who also has her yokai features out.

"Fufu, you know I am."

"Alright then, let's go fuck up some assholes." Tayuya says as she lifts up her leg and smashes it into the door, easily folding the metal and launching it into the deep cavern it leads into and catching the attention of the monstrous looking people held within. "Sup bitches! Tayuya of the North Gate is back ya dumb fucks!"

It all happened at once.

First Tayuya leapt down, landing directly atop a group of the crazed cursed mark users, turning one of their faces into an impromptu landing pad and crushing the skull underfoot.

Pulling out her flute, she twirls the obsidian-colored instrument and begins playing a dark melody, causing the ground beneath her to rumble as a giant earth golem sprouts from the ground which causes those in the immediate area to be swallowed into its body.

Next was Ryuzetsu, who did much the same as Tayuya and jumped from the ledge she was standing on as the white ball of light that tipped her naginata grew brighter. As she neared the ground, she called out two words.

Falling Star

The impact that followed sent a mini earthquake through the ground as the foes she landed on turned into a bloody paste while those that closely surrounded them were buried due to the earth opening underneath them.

Finally, Haku raises her frost covered hands high while aiming at a third group of feral curse mark users. Icicle Prison!

As soon as she calls out her attack several floating walls of ice surround her enemies in an octagonal shape.

This was an upgraded form of her ice mirror technique she had been working on over the years, made effortless to pull off due to her now being a yuki onna.

Gripping her blade, she flares her chakra and shatters into shards of ice and reappears in one of the mirrors with her weapon at the ready.

In an instant she disappears and comes to form in another directly opposite of her previous position, bisecting two of the fifteen curse mark users at the waist.

Those affected could barely react, their torsos are severed from their legs, the only reason fountains of blood don't go shooting out being the layer of ice that covers the wound.

If this was three years ago, back before she lost her Master, she would have felt something from killing so easily but since then she couldn't help but feel Zabuza's spirit was there to harden her heart, especially when the first person dared to try and take his sword.

Even now, as she carves through body after body, leaving nothing but corpses in her wake, she can feel Zabuza smiling down at her from the Pure Lands.

Shattering the ice prison once all of her targets are dead, the ice woman pivots her body to face yet another group and breathes out an icy fog that obscures the surroundings, leaving them blind and shivering from the sudden drop in temperature. Then, she was gone with the mist with a devious smirk.

It was time for a massacre.

On the opposite end of the battlefield Ryuzetsu was fighting like a woman possessed.

Limbs went flying and heads were rolling as she elegantly twirls her naginata around, making various wide arcs that kept her enemies at a distance and she was having fun while doing it.

Maybe it was due to her draconic nature as a yokai but she could feel her heart singing in elation with each curse mark user put down. The thrill of battle was slowly taking her over and her movements became wilder.

Instead of standing still to make a circle of death, she was now moving in a blur from enemy to enemy, using their shoulders like mere step stools as she continued to cut them down in droves.

It was then she felt as if her lungs were on fire, like something desperately wanted to come out so she opened her mouth.

White Dragon's Roar!

The attack that was called forth could be considered nothing else but death incarnate as a beam of pure, concentrated white light shot from her open maw, obliterating all it came in contact with.

Looking in awe at the unbridled devastation of her attack, her attention is suddenly taken away as a loud yell followed by an even louder boom is heard in the direction she last saw Tayuya.

"I wonder what's got her all excited?" she asks herself as a smirk forms on her lips just as she swings her naginata downward to cut a person who thought he could sneak up on her in half.

-Tayuya, Earlier-

Tayuya could truly say that right now she was having fun.

With each body that fell, whether from her earth golem that was going on a rampage or from her very hands themselves as she ripped and tore through the fodder, the pinkette would smile further.

The oni cackles like a woman possessed as she quite literally rips the arms off of one man to beat another to death before throwing the armless body at two more who were charging at her.

The power flowing through her system was intoxicating and she couldn't get enough of it. Therefore it was safe to say she was in her element.

So imagine the pinkette's surprise when from nowhere she is suddenly barreled into by a large figure that sends her crashing to the ground.

Looking up from her downed position with angry eyes she growls dangerously. "Alright, who's the asshole that wants me to tear them a new one?"

When her eyes lock onto the one responsible, they widen slightly as they take in the form of a man with an extremely tall form and wild orange hair staring back at her with a manic grin and eyes that are yellow with black sclera, matching her own.

"Who the fuck…"

"Gyahahaha! Finally, someone to kill!"

The man then lunges at her, two jets of chakra shooting out from his back that gives him a massive boost in speed that catches Tayuya off guard, resulting in a fist crashing against her face which sends the pinkette rocketing backwards and tumbling to the ground.

"Oh what the fuck…" she mutters as she rolls over and spits out a tooth that quickly regrows. Looking down and seeing it she quickly becomes angry.

Screw that, she wasn't angry.

Tayuya was absolutely pissed.

"You motherfucking, motherfucker!"

Just as she's about to charge, both Ryuzetsu and Haku land next to her, both with mirth evident on their faces.

"You okay?" Ryuzetsu asks with a bit of a grin as she observes the man before them, idly noticing how similar his transformation looks to Tayuya even compared to the other curse mark users.

"Yes, that looked like it hurt," Haku adds with a smirk of her own, "though I wonder who he is. He seems different than the others."

Tayuya growls once again, her irritation at getting hit spiking due to the other two's teasing, "I recognize the asshole," the pinkette says as she spits out a glob of blood. "His name's Juugo and he's the origin of the curse mark. Looks like he went crazy too."(12)

"Hoh?" Ryuzetsu mutters as she tilts her head while observing the now named Jugo fight against the golem Tayuya summoned. "To think it came from a person I wonder how it was implanted in other people."

Haku rests the Executioner's Blade on her shoulder and frowns just as the orange-haired man manages to take down the golem, "no doubt it has something to do with the inhumane experiments Orochimaru was known for."

Tayuya rolls her eyes and scoffs. "Don't know, don't care. You two take care of the rest of the fodder. Imma rip that asshole's dick off and feed it to 'im!"

Then in a burst of chakra, she was gone, blurring forward in a whirlwind of motion toward her new enemy as he continues to cackle madly.

The two then go into a bout of hand-to-hand combat that tears up their makeshift arena, heedless of those that get caught in the crossfire.

Ducking past a swing of Juugo's hand which had been turned into an axe, Tayuya responds with an uppercut straight to his chin that sends him flying upward.

Not one to let an opportunity go, she whips out her flute and begins playing, making a golem form from the ceiling that launches a punch of its own that sends her opponent back down before yet another golem spawns from the ground to hit him into the air once again.

What follows next could be described as a game of ninja volleyball as Juugo's body is launched back and forth until Tayuya decides to break it by jumping in the middle and sending a fist straight into his gut that has him spitting up blood while being rocketed away.

Landing on the ground, she immediately sprints in his direction, jumping through the hole she created with his body.

Upon entering the room, she grins viscously when she sees the orange-haired man stumbling around in a daze as blood pours from him mouth.

It seems her earlier attack ruptured a few of his organs and now he's trying his best to heal it, or he would have had Tayuya not seen this as a golden opportunity.

"Got ya fucker!"

Channeling a massive amount of chakra to her fist to the point it begins to glow with power, Tayuya rockets it forward, aiming for the same spot at his torso.

Squelch!

Blood splatters within the room as the attack hits home and her fist is impaled through his torso.

Juugo looks down with wide and disbelieving eyes as his vision begins to blur. He desperately tries to reach down and take the pinkette's arm out from his stomach but he can feel his strength fading.

That's strange…he should be healing by now. His bloodline always had when he's taken this much damage.

But his scattered thoughts are brough to an end when he feels himself yanked down to his knees and forced to look up at Tayuya who gives him a wide and blood-thirsty smirk in return as her yellow eyes glow.

"I don't know why, but there's somethin' in my blood screaming at me to take something from ya. I don't know what that something is but I'll find out soon enough. Thanks for the gift you fuckstick."

It was then an unimaginable pain bursts out from his very being, making Juugo howl out in agony. It was like something was being ripped from each strand of his DNA one by one.

Had he been able to, he would see his cursed state receding and being funneled into Tayuya, but by the time his mind could even focus it was already too late. His skin was now back to its original tan color instead of the usual dark visage as his eyes also fade back to their original color.

Before long it was done and all he felt was the cold grip of death as Tayuya carelessly ripped her arm from him, letting his now dead body fall to the ground as she stares at her hands in awe and excitement, watching as they begin shifting into different weapons in glee.

"Ohhhh I'm gonna have sooo much fun with these~"

"Now this is an interesting development."

Tayuya whirls around as a new voice suddenly makes itself known, only for her eyes to widen when she sees the last person she ever thought she'd meet again.

He was a young man with black-rimmed glasses over his pure black eyes and ash-gray hair this long and unkempt, covering nearly half his face as his body is covered by a black robe with red lining.(13)

But even passed the messy hair, Tayuya could see the change that overcame the former right hand of Orochimaru in the form of the obscured half of his face having white and scaly skin that looks as if it was trying to overtake his body like it was a parasite.

Paired along with it is a single snake-like yellow eye with the same purple marking around it that Orochimaru once had.

"Holy shit, Kabuto? What the fuck happened to you?"

The gray-haired man grins, "I've ascended my dear Tayuya. To heights not even Lord Orochimaru could reach," he boasts with unbridled arrogance. "I guarantee that by the time I've finished assimilating his cells my power will be in the same league as that of The Sage of Six Paths!"

While he boasts Tayuya looks on in confusion. "You grafted Orochimaru's fucking dead body into yourself? I know you're his butt-boy but that's a little extreme don't you think?"

Kabuto frowns at her words but shakes them off nonetheless with a chuckle. "Of course I wouldn't expect someone as crass as you to understand seeing as you've always been more brawn than brains," he remarks with a mocking tone that makes the pinkette growl dangerously. "Though I must confess I am a bit surprised to see you here and alive considering you weren't among those captured after their miraculous escape from the explosion at Hozoki Castle. No wonder the Edo Tensei failed."

Her ears twitch at that information and a frown comes over her face as she looks at him with a hiss of disgust. "Edo Tensei? The same jutsu Orochimaru used to summon the dead Hokage?"

"Exactly!" He exclaims with his previous bravado back in full force. "And from the fact it also didn't work on a certain blonde I can only assume he's alive as well hmm?"

"Tch, I ain't got nuthin' to say to you, you four-eyed freak."

Kabuto only grins, "I'll take that as a yes then. I can't wait to see how he's grown from his time in Hozoki but alas I have to cut my meeting short as I'm still not fully ready to take you and your companions on. Such a shame the three of you killed so many potential subjects for the edo tensei but I cannot afford to lose any more."

He then raises a hand and snaps his fingers with a loud rumble that follows soon after that has Tayuya looking at him suspiciously. "What did you just do?"

The former assistant of Orochimaru shrugs, "just took what belongs to me. I'll need them if I want to continue my work on perfecting my jutsu."

"Tayuya!"

Both Ryuzetsu and Haku land next to the pinkette with their weapons pointed toward Kabuto.

Ryuzetsu looks up at him with a serious expression, also taking note of his snake-like features, "all the curse mark users left were swallowed up by coffins. I assume he's responsible."

Haku nods and also keeps her eyes trained on the gray-haired man, "though I managed to freeze them in place and destroy them before they could go back into the floor."

"Well that's unfortunate," Kabuto says with a bit of disappointment in his tone as he can feel her words are true. "It took a lot of work to wrangle them all in one place for my experiments."

"Well that's too bad, cause we're gonna kill your ass right now, so you can join them in hell when you get there." Tayuya states with a growl as she brandishes her flute.

"Well, while I would love nothing more than to enjoy that, and your transformations are surely something I'd love to study further, I'm afraid I have other matters to attend to so I must bid you goodbye," he says with a bow just as his form goes up in smoke.

"Damnit! He got away." Tayuya curses as her yokai features fade away, prompting Haku and Ryuzetsu to follow suit.

Tying her green bandana back around her head, Ryuzetsu looks a Tayuya quizzically, "who was that and why did it matter if he got away?"

The pinkette huffs as she too puts on her beanie, "he was Orochimaru's righthand man back when that snake fucker was still alive. Now it seems he took his place and he knows Naruto is alive."

"But how?" Haku asks with a frown of her own as she puts the Executioner's Blade back in its holster.

Tayuya is about to say something in response but she feels something nudge against her sandaled foot. Looking down, she raises a single eyebrow when she sees what looks to be a fox made of ink sitting there at her feet and from the way the chakra that constructs it feels, it was sent by Naruto.

But before either she or anyone else could comment on it the ink fox jumps and dives into the ground head first, splattering in a mess of black ink that reveals a message.

Yo! Got the Eight-Tails and our new recruit. Meet us at the port town of Selance in Wind Country. We'll look for Maki from there."

"Welp looks like we got our next destination, so I'll tell you on the way there," she says once they all finish reading the message sent by their blonde leader and the ink fades away as if it was never there in the first place.

"Selance huh? Been a while since I've been there," Haku comments with a bit of nostalgia on her face as the trio of yokai make their way out of the base.

Back then she and Zabuza had a few escort jobs that led there and it felt like she'd melt into a puddle just by being in the desert sun. Though she did have a good time altogether as her master had been quite doting though he tried his hardest not to show it.

"Meh, the last time I was in Wind Country I had to help with the assassination of the previous Kazekage." Tayuya says with a shrug as they begins tree hopping toward their new destination, "fucker was a bitch to kill with all that damn golden sand he used."

Ryuzetsu raises an eyebrow at her. "How is it you have a story for seemingly everything?"

The pinkette smirks as they pick up speed. "Well I just live that much of an interesting life."

-Konoha-

The village was a-buzz with the news of the deaths of the three elders and while everyone was aware they all died on the same night, only a few were privy to how they died and even less were aware of who was responsible.

And those that were, are currently in a meeting discussing that very topic.

"This isn't good..if the Uchiha could easily slip into the village once, she and whoever helped her could do it again. And there's no telling what she'd do or who she'd kill the next time considering the state she left the elders in." A man with many scars on his face and his hair pulled into a ponytail says with a frown. "This is such a drag."

From the way the bodies were found it was obvious the Uchiha had snapped due to the death of Naruto Uzumaki and was beginning to lash out.

That was something they needed to watch out for in case she turned into another Madara and decided the village as a whole needed to be destroyed.

"This was most likely an act of revenge against the village elders for their part in the destruction of her clan," Tsunade says while leaning forward in her chair and tenting her fingers, "luckily for us, she didn't end up harming any of our ANBU guarding them."

The man agrees with a sigh, "as much of a drag it is to admit it, she did us quite the favor taking those three out…the things we found in Danzo's base were disturbing to say the least."

Another man, in the form of Inoichi Yamanaka, nods as well, "not to mention those that weren't killed by Kiyomi need to be interrogated to see whether they could be rehabilitated or not."

Ibiki huffs and leans back into his chair, "don't forget the Hyuga heiress. Her first teammate dies in a prison and her second comes back to Konoha to kill the village elders," the scarred man states with a stern expression. "You expect me to believe she didn't know what the Uchiha was up to while she was in the village? Fat chance. I'm surprised you even still let her take missions outside of the village Lady Hokage, she could be a flight risk."

Tsunade sighs as she too leans back and crosses her arms, "Hinata is just dealing with Naruto's loss in her own way and when she's not out of the village Hiashi has told me she would take most of her time looking through the old Hyuga archives or training with her younger sister who is just about the only one she still has a positive relationship with. I don't believe she's any threat to village safety."

Inoichi frowns. "That can't be good for her mental health. I know as a shinobi taking missions and training to be better is something to strive for but there should be more to her life than just that. That's what Lord First started this village for isn't it?"

"That may be so, but if we actually stayed true to his ideals someone like Danzo wouldn't have risen to power and done the deeds he did," Shikaku says with a frown of his own. "The Uchiha would have still been a major clan and our clansmen wouldn't have been stolen from their cradles."

"Tch, that old bag of bones really screwed us over in the long run, now we have a rogue Uchiha that's probably angry at the world on the loose," Tsunade bitterly says while Inoichi nods.

"Who knows what she could be planning or doing right now."

As if fate was hearing him and decided to give the middle finger, a ninja burst into the meeting room in a panic. "L-Lady Tsunade! Two ninja from Kumogakure are here demanding to see you!" The man says while trying to catch his breath, "th-they're saying Kiyomi Uchiha kidnapped their jinchuriki with two other Uzumaki while wearing the uniform of the Akatsuki!"

Tsunade stares at the ninja with wide eyes before palming her forehead, "thanks for jinxing it Inoichi. This is exactly what I needed..is there anything else?"

The ninja bows low once again, "no ma'am that's all-"

"Lady Tsunade! Hinata Hyuga and Anko Mitarashi were about to leave the village on a mission when they ran into those from Kumo and are now in a confrontation!" Another ninja suddenly exclaims as he too bursts in the room, cutting off the first.

A suffering groan comes from the blonde before she stands up and heads toward the door, "I hope to the Sage that girl doesn't do anything drastic."

-Hyuga Compound, Earlier-

Hinata sighs in annoyance and frustration as she puts back yet another book. She had already been through half of her clan's library and there was still no mention of her new eyes.

Pulsing her chakra slightly, her eyes gain their new flower pattern as two pure black spheres appear over her shoulders.

"There's another one now.." the Hyuga thinks to herself as the two objects move forward before morphing into two thin needles that slowly begin to spin on her mental command.

The amount of control she had over these pure black spheres was honestly unreal. They could become any shape or form she wished, from a spear to something as mundane as a hair clip.

Her eyes glow as the spinning needles take on a blueish-green glow that grows brighter and brighter as she wills it, illuminating the previously low-lit library.

Though she suddenly stops when a knock is heard from outside, "Lady Hinata, Anko Mitarashi is waiting for you outside of the clan compound." A voice says from beyond the door, "she claims the two of you made prior arrangements for today."

Dismissing the glowing needles and letting her eyes go back to their normal featureless lavender, Hinata stands from her position and walks to the door, opening it to reveal a young man with long brown hair dressed in a flowing white kimono-shirt with matching pants and a navy-gray apron around his waist.

"Neji, I see you're back from your mission, how was it?" she asks while moving past him and heading toward the entrance of the clan compound.

"There were no problems at all Lady Hinata," the now named Neji says as he winces internally at the neutral and bordering on cold tone his younger cousin uses while he follows behind her.

Seemingly uncaring of the situation, Anko saunters up with her hands in her coat pockets, "yo Kotetsu! Got a mission outside the village and need to sign out," she calls out with a large grin, "and make it snappy, mama's got a date with a couple of bandits."

Kotetsu, a man with long, spiky black hair and equally black eyes outfitted in a typical Konoha chunin garb, sighs in relief when he sees the snake mistress, internally thanking her for interrupting his previous conversation.

"Hey Anko, going on another bandit hunt with Hinata huh?" He then gives the Hyuga a smile, "how are you doing by the way?"

Hinata nods with a smile and small bow, "I'm doing much better now that I have a way to vent, thank you."

"Good, good. Here, let me sign the two of you out so you two can be on your way."

"Thank you."

Signing their names the two kunoichi begin to walk away, Hinata deliberately deciding to not make eye-contact as she goes past. However this is all for naught as one of the two cloud ninja stops her by putting a hand on her shoulder.

Glancing back, her pale lavender eyes lock onto a pair of fiery gold. "May I help you Kumo nin?"

The woman narrows her eyes as she takes in Hinata's features before smirking. "You. That gate guy said your name is Hinata right? Hinata Hyuga?"

Hinata frowns and turns around to face her, "and if I am?"

The other ninja, a young man with shaggy white hair, gains a nervous look, "uh Karui…I don't think you should-"

"Shut up Omoi!" Karui bites back, "you read the files too, this girl was squad mates with the Uchiha!" She then turns back to Hinata, with a sneer on her face, "that means you're gonna tell us everything we want to know about the Uchiha. Weaknesses and all."

The Hyuga's pale eyes narrow, "and let us say I don't wish to tell you. What would happen then?"

Karui's eyes narrow dangerously, "then we'd have some problems."

Anko frowns at the interaction and moves to step forward before it could escalate any further but is stopped by Hinata who holds her hand out. Looking toward the Hyuga, her eyes widen slightly at the thunderous look she has on her face.

"So let me get this straight..," Hinata begins as she closes her eyes and puts a too sweet smile on her face. "Your village attempts to kidnap me when I was only three years old which results in the death of my uncle, causing my elder cousin to hate and nearly kill me when we were genin."

The redhead steps back slightly with wide eyes as the Hyuga's presence falls atop of her, weighing the Kumo Kunoichi down as if she was suddenly made to carry several tons of weight. "W-Well.."

"But not only that," the Hyuga continues, stepping forward as her chakra washes over the area, "your Raikage accuses Naruto of attempting to assassinate him and forces our Hokage to send him to Hozoki which results in his death, and you expect me to just roll over and give you information on my last remaining teammate?"

She then places a hand on Karui's shoulder, rooting the girl in place as she leans forward and finally opens her eyes, making it so only the redhead can see her tenseigan as it glows with its flower pattern spinning. "Does that honestly make sense to you?"

"Wh-When she puts it like that, don't we sound like the bad guys here?" Omoi asks from the side with sweat pouring down his face.

"Sh-Shut up Omoi," Karui attempts to bite back while still shivering under Hinata's intense gaze.

"Hinata Hyuga, stand down!"

Before the situation could escalate any further, Tsunade herself suddenly lands next to them, a stern expression on her face and her arms crossed beneath her bust, "don't take it further than need be."

Hinata turns to her Hokage, her eyes closed to not show the change in her eyes as a smile once again blooms on her face. "Of course Lady Hokage," she says as she takes her hand off of Karui's shoulder, letting the Kumo kunoichi stumble back as the redhead breathes hard, "wouldn't want that village to use something like this as a reason to make unreasonable demands."

The Hyuga then bows toward the older blonde, "I apologize for any problems I may have caused. She said a few things that I found unsavory and my temper slipped a bit. I'm sure you understand."

Tsunade sighs and pinches the bridge of her nose before staring back at the Hyuga with a frown. In all honesty, she really did understand Hinata's actions as she had been through a similar loss during the Second Shinobi World War and had gone on a rampage after the deaths of her younger brother and lover before eventually being swallowed up by her grief and retiring.

If this little spat didn't have the potential of starting yet another war she would have easily let the Hyuga run roughshod over the two Kumo shinobi, but unfortunately they simply couldn't afford it in their current situation.

"I do, but I cannot afford for this to become more of an issue in the long run," she says while Hinata finally opens her eyes once again, with the orbs going back to their usual pale lavender. "Since you're already on a potential mission, I think it'd be best if you left the village for a few days while we hear these two out as a way to clear your head."

Hinata bows once more, "of course Lady Hokage, I thank you for your understanding." She then turns around and faces Anko who was grinning like a cat that caught the canary.

"Damn pale eyes, who knew you had such a fire in you. I think I just got wet," she says with an impressed whistle making the Hyuga heiress giggle as they both walk away from the village though from out the corner of her eye she spots a fox made of ink that feels just like Naruto.

"I'll take that as a compliment Anko."

Shaking her head at the conversation, Tsunade eventually sighs and turns to face the two Kumo shinobi, "alright, now what the hell does your damn Raikage want. If you couldn't tell, I'm not really in the mood.

Karui and Omoi gulp when they look at the thunderous expression on the Hokage's face.

(5): Sorry to the people that were hoping Mabui would be in the harem. Unfortunately it just wouldn't fit with everything in this fic.

(6): Yup, in this fic Sai is dead because Kiyomi killed him when he tried to fulfil his mission of assassinating her instead of Sasuke who threatened him first.

(7): For this fic Samui and Yugito had a relationship bordering on being sisters since Samui was also compatible with the two-tails, making it so they formed a combo team like Killer Bee and the Raikage.

(12): So here's why Juugo hasn't been mentioned yet either. He, like every other curse mark user went completely feral thus Kiyomi didn't even try to get him to join.

(13): Remember that random filler arc in Shippuden 'Power'? This is Kabuto's appearance in that since he has not yet fully become a snake sage.

(14): Hardest thing about bashing/banishment fics (and the reason I decided not to lean too hard on it while writing this one) is you either have to make all characters insufferable braindead idiots for it to even work or have the dreaded 'civilian council' do it.

That's why you won't see much of the Konoha 12 in this fic as I don't have the heart to bastardize their characters like that (yes even Sakura) and why only Neji's insight was given as at least it was semi justifiable even if he wouldn't dream do that in canon.

(15): Okay I'll be honest. I just couldn't help but feature Anko more prominently in this fic. She's one of my favorite characters thanks to fanfiction and the trope of her taking Hinata under her wing is one of my favorites as well. She was an average shinobi at best, only having the rank of special jonin and she knows from reading the Uzumaki's file before he was sent away that he was an exceptional shinobi that had killed an Akatsuki member.
