Pinepaw lapped at his messy grey fur , the dull , noticeably overweight tom had eyes only for Budgiepaw .
She shuddered , as his malicious grey gaze met hers. He was her personalised stalker , whom stuck out like an out of tune note in a soothing melody .
Pinepaw was lazy , he complained too much , and was extremely irritating for all cats whom came in contact with him .
His mentor ,Curlstem , was running close to the edge of her patience . No cat could blame her , but all pitied her for having to put up with the apprentice without potential .
Goldenpaw , an extremely beautiful, good tempered , golden tabby she cat , purred in amusement from a joke , supposedly from the cats next to her , her friends :
Rosepaw, a shy bombay she cat , yet she was sweet and caring under that coward like shell ,
Rosepaw's adopted sister Daisypaw , a cream, sharptongued female kitty , whom always speaks her mind ,
and Bearpaw , a bulky mottled brown tom cat , whom teased others instead of doing what he was supposed to be doing, like cleaning out pine needles from camp and such .
Silverpaw was another apprentice , whom was extremely jealous of Goldenpaw. Her beauty , her hunting abilities, her place in the clan , whereas Silverpaw was a dull grey girlcat, kin to her erstwhile enemy , the golden tabby shecat of the leader's , whom obtained an overall much more superior personality.
And then there was Saffronpaw. Sleek, yet scrawny , Saffronpaw was a squeaky little guy , his russet pelt quite adorable in the small flicks and flecks of dappled grey on his body . Saffronpaw focused very hard on his hunting and fighting , yet he was always bested by Bearpaw , whom he hated , for getting so much attention from his secret crush , Budgiespaw. Envy seeps through the tom's veins at even the thought of the two becoming mates in the future .
