At the Fire & Ice Resort, Raine was relaxing peacefully in the hot springs, just having a break from the chaos. Raine exhaled with relief, letting all the stress that had been buzzing through their mind just pass over. "This is lovely. Heck, I'd say this is the life. You coming Eda?"
"I'm coming Rainestorm!" Eda assured her partner from afar.
They laid back with their hands behind their head as they waited their partner to join them. Then, they heard her footsteps coming towards them. However, the pace of the footsteps began to change as they appeared to get faster.
They instantly knew what this meant. Eda was about to jump into the hot springs, which caused Raine some alarm.
"EDA!" Raine cried out. "THINK ABOUT THIS FOR A MOMENT BEFORE…" But it was too late, because Eda crashed into the water with a ginormous cannonball, leading to a huge splash that managed to put out some of the fires that surrounded the ground. Heck, it even put out a fire person whom was just minding their own business.
Raine coughed as they wiped the water from their face just as Eda wrapped her arm around their back. "Probably shouldn't have left your mouth open, Rainestorm." Eda chortled.
"Are you ever gonna mature?" Raine asked.
"Not even while I'm staring death in the face." Eda replied confidently.
"Where's King?" Raine asked.
Eda grinned. "Oh, he's currently playing in the snow. He knows when we need our alone time."
In the snow section of the Fire & Ice resort, King was busy arranging some snowballs together that he was putting in a bucket. He chuckled with glee.
"I know when to leave Eda and Raine alone but that doesn't mean I can't torment them." King said to himself. "Just gotta position myself so the balls will hit them." He froze at his last sentence. "Perhaps I should have phrased that better." Despite being in his mid twenties, King was at a stage in his life where he was acting more like a mischievous teenager much to Raine's dismay and Eda's delight.
He tried lifting the bucket, but he didn't account on how heavy it would actually be. He tried again, but it was the same result, it just wouldn't budge.
"Uh…I should get rid of a few." The Titan removed a few snowballs from the bucket. He tried lifting it again but once again, he couldn't. Though this time, he did get it slightly off the ground.
After another attempt, he collapsed on his back onto the snow to try and catch his breath. He exhaled in frustration and stared at his paws. "I should start working out more." Then, he saw something in the purple sky.
Sure he could see the stars but one particular star was moving. It was possibly a comet. But this particular comet appeared to be coming right towards him and at a very high speed.
King knew that it would be stupid if he didn't move out of the way, so he quickly got behind cover as the flaming and starry comet came rushing towards him.
When it made a smashing impact with the ground, it caused a loud explosion and a bunch of rock and snow began flying everywhere.
Back at the hot spring, Eda and Raine stopped making out once they heard the sound of the impact. "Did you hear that?" Raine asked.
"Probably a volcano." Eda theorised. "Let's get back to making out." So Eda and Raine got back to doing their business.
Back with King, he investigated the crater to see how big it was. However, what he found was not a crater at all. Instead, it was actually The Collector, looking unconscious and bruised.
"Collector?!" King jumped into the crater to check on his friend. "Collector?!" However, there was no response from his friend as they appeared to be knocked out. "Come on!" He tried shaking them awake, but nothing was happening.
Back in the fire section, Eda and Raine were busy making out in the water of the hot springs still disregarding the sound they heard.
"EDA! RAINE!" King cried as he ran towards them.
Upon hearing the sound of their son approaching, Eda and Raine quickly dunked themselves into the water but poked their heads out by neck level so he wouldn't see anything inappropriate.
"King!" Eda chided her son. "What have we said about bursting in on us while we are in the hot springs?! You don't know what we are doing!"
"Okay! Okay!" King responded. "But listen, this is more important than you and Raine naked in the water, The Collector. He's hurt."
Eda and Raine stared at King with concern and surprise. "The Collector?" Eda reacted.
"Here?!" Raine exclaimed.
Later, at the Healing Ward, Emira and Viney were currently on a break, standing by the vending machine. They were drinking some canned apple blood, discussing some manga related topics.
"You know the Fire & Ice Resort?" Viney asked her girlfriend.
"Yeah." Emira said. "Wanna go there for our honeymoon?"
Viney blushed at that suggestion. "Well…Actually yeah. But also, the Fire & Ice Resort looks similar to a location from a manga I'm reading. Ya know, Single Piece."
Emira exhaled. "We really need to talk about that. Over 80 something volumes are hogging are home."
"I'll put them in the basement." Viney argued. "I'm saying, the Fire & Ice Resort looks similar to Thug Jeopardy from the manga. An island that is half ice and half fire. How crazy is that?"
Emira sighed in annoyance. "The basement is full."
"What about the shed?" Viney asked.
"No!" Emira stated.
Then, bursting through the door, were Eda, Raine and King; With the former head of the Bard Coven holding the unconscious space cherub.
"Healer! We need a healer!" King cried.
"Quick!"
Later, The Collector was on a stretcher while many healers were pushing it to make sure he got to one of the operating rooms.
"What happened?"
"Crashed from space."
"Are there any injuries?"
"Bruises. Don't know about the bones."
"Is there a book on how to operate on Gods?"
Later, The Collector had an IV hooked into their wrist and was already having his pulse checked. "Pulse is good. They're just unconscious right now."
"How do we treat a God?! Does anyone know?!"
"Give him some space!" Viney demanded to most of the healers who all dispersed. Viney then drew a spell circle and began to heal all the bruises on their faces. "It's okay, Collector. Just sit still and we will be okay."
The Collector's eyes fluttered open and he made a groaning noise. Emira instantly ran to their aid and gently took his hand. "Collector, you had a bad landing. Take it easy."
The Collector began to take slow yet little breaths as they tried to catch up with his breathing. "Archivists." He said. "Archivists."
"Save your breath Collector." Viney said as she placed a wet napkin on his head. "This will hopefully be over shortly." She tried using her healing spell to heal his bruises and cuts.
But they just continued to mumble. "The Archivists are coming." They said. "The Archivists are coming."
Emira and Viney gave each other some confused glances. "Who?" Viney asked.
